- 0:00What if you could simply decide that
- 0:02things will work out and they did?
- 0:06What if there was this little secret
- 0:08about the way in which you relate to
- 0:11reality that determines literally what
- 0:14you perceive in your reality [music] and
- 0:18that when you are in the energy of
- 0:21wanting things to work out, you're in
- 0:24the energy of desire, which is lack.
- 0:27When you're in the energy of doing
- 0:30things to get somewhere else, you're in
- 0:33the energy of this moment right here is
- 0:35not good enough the way that it is.
- 0:37[snorts] But what if there was a way in
- 0:39which you could decide from the identity
- 0:41level that would completely transform
- 0:43your life from the inside out? This is
- 0:46exactly what I did back in 2017 that
- 0:49allowed me to go from a 9-to-five job
- 0:51goer selling women shoes to having over
- 0:54a 100,000 followers on YouTube within 6
- 0:56months and then also from YouTube into
- 0:59traveling the world running live events
- 1:01helping people transform live on stage.
- 1:04I made a choice at the level of the
- 1:07being the identity.
- 1:10So, in this video, I'm going to show you
- 1:12how to transform at the [music] level of
- 1:14being so that you decide to be that
- 1:16version of you every day. I'm going to
- 1:19show you how to transform old meaning
- 1:21and release old unprocessed emotion
- 1:23[music] from the body that's actually
- 1:25blocking what you want. And I'm going to
- 1:27show you how to actually let it be
- 1:29natural for your identity to be [music]
- 1:31in love, to be in connection, and to be
- 1:34in abundance and wealth as [music] well,
- 1:37even if it's never felt familiar to the
- 1:39past. So let's get into it right now.
- 1:43So for me back in 2017, what I did is I
- 1:47made a decision from the level of my
- 1:50identity.
- 1:52I made a decision to make videos every
- 1:55single day on YouTube, no matter what.
- 1:58And that was the process I was
- 2:00committing to.
- 2:02So recognize first off that your
- 2:05identity is what you commit to.
- 2:09You could in a way say it's what you
- 2:11decide and who you decide you are.
- 2:14But the thing to really understand with
- 2:16this entire process
- 2:18is it really is a matter of the energy
- 2:22you are embodying.
- 2:25This isn't a mental thing. Mental is a
- 2:28component of it. But here's where most
- 2:30people get blocked. Most people have one
- 2:34of three things that gets blocked inside
- 2:36of their body and their energy that
- 2:39literally blocks their frequency or
- 2:41blocks them from experiencing what they
- 2:43want. Either their thoughts are in
- 2:47contradictory alignment with what they
- 2:49want. So they may be consuming lots of
- 2:52content, focused on other things, or
- 2:56doubting that they can even accomplish
- 2:58what they want. even though they might
- 3:00be feeling it from a certain level in
- 3:02meditation and taking action. So belief
- 3:06is a part of it. The other second thing
- 3:08that might block people is maybe they're
- 3:11thinking of what they want and they're
- 3:13taking action
- 3:15but they feel repressed energy
- 3:18underneath the surface. They feel a
- 3:21certain level of shame
- 3:23and you can feel underneath their energy
- 3:25that they're not as magnetic as they
- 3:27could be because there's unprocessed
- 3:30energy under the surface.
- 3:33One of the things I've always understood
- 3:35about the content that I share on
- 3:37YouTube is that people feel what I feel.
- 3:41Like the energy that I feel in my body
- 3:44while I'm making videos is something
- 3:47that energetically people tune to.
- 3:50And even though I might be saying just
- 3:53about the same dang thing in a lot of
- 3:55videos,
- 3:57you might still be listening. You might
- 3:59find that every now and like, I've heard
- 4:01that before, but deeper.
- 4:03There's an energy there that draws you
- 4:05in because people feel what you feel.
- 4:09And the more you clean out your energy
- 4:12and release unprocessed energy
- 4:14underneath the surface, the more
- 4:16magnetic you are and the more people
- 4:18feel drawn to you.
- 4:20So part of the decision for you to
- 4:22become this new version of you is making
- 4:25a decision to process one of these three
- 4:29layers to see where your block might be.
- 4:32And there might be a block even under
- 4:34that that once you become aware of
- 4:36shifts everything that I'll share with
- 4:38you in a minute. So you could say that
- 4:40there's unprocessed energy there and
- 4:42that blocks you from deciding to do it.
- 4:45So for me back in 2012 when I or 2017
- 4:50when I made daily videos on YouTube
- 4:52there are a lot of emotional blocks that
- 4:54came up. I didn't feel credible. I was
- 4:57worried about what my friends from high
- 4:59school would think.
- 5:01And what happens is that energy would
- 5:04block me and I would then stop for
- 5:05making videos.
- 5:08But remember, a decision is something
- 5:11you decide from your level of being. I
- 5:14was being a full-time YouTuber in
- 5:16February of 2017.
- 5:19And part of being a YouTuber meant
- 5:22that if I'm going to take action every
- 5:25day, make videos every day, even if
- 5:28they're not doing that well, I knew that
- 5:31the more reps I put in, the more that
- 5:34that would become my dominant reality.
- 5:38I decided that I was going to commit to
- 5:40the process
- 5:42more than I was going to commit to
- 5:45needing to be some some way to get some
- 5:48other result to escape where I am in the
- 5:50present moment right now.
- 5:52So this is one of the keys that we'll
- 5:54talk about in a minute that changes
- 5:56everything. Okay. So first off now let's
- 5:59look where the other block might be. So
- 6:01there may be blocks around thinking,
- 6:04feeling or acting.
- 6:07And what my friend did from high school
- 6:08back in the day, he's like, "When I'm on
- 6:11tour and I'm a famous musician,
- 6:15when when" and then I remember we had
- 6:17this one friend that would like trigger
- 6:19him and he would say, "If" and then my
- 6:22friend would be like, "Don't say that.
- 6:23You're negative."
- 6:25No, if if that happens. Like, and here's
- 6:28the thing. When you begin to embody a
- 6:31new you, you may believe it, but if you
- 6:34are looking for other people to affirm
- 6:36that reality, you don't really believe
- 6:38it.
- 6:40If you really believe it, even in the
- 6:42face of other people, you're committed
- 6:45to the process. And it's okay.
- 6:48When I first got on YouTube, I remember
- 6:50seeing friends and even one of my one of
- 6:54my sisters, for example, she was like I
- 6:56was like, "Oh, I'd already started
- 6:57making daily videos." And she's like,
- 6:59"You going to go make videos for your I
- 7:01think 35 subscribers or 200 subscribers
- 7:04or whatever it was.
- 7:06I could have stopped in that moment, but
- 7:08I chose to keep going because I chose I
- 7:11decided that that is who I'm going to
- 7:13be." Do you see the difference in the
- 7:16energy there? A decision means to cut
- 7:19off other options.
- 7:23And to cut off other options means you
- 7:25commit.
- 7:26You commit to that version of you.
- 7:30And in a moment, I'm going to share with
- 7:32you a consciousness shift of this idea
- 7:34as well because we can learn it from
- 7:36this level. So, if you're watching this
- 7:38video right now, maybe something in that
- 7:41you just became aware of that maybe to
- 7:44decide something will work out and then
- 7:46it will. It's about realizing that your
- 7:50thinking, your feeling, and your acting.
- 7:53If one of these is not in alignment and
- 7:55you have blocks,
- 7:57the key is to become aware. Observe
- 8:00those. Observe the thinking, not
- 8:03identifying with it. Observe the
- 8:05emotions.
- 8:06Let it let it be there instead of trying
- 8:08to control it. And then taking action.
- 8:11Are you taking action or not?
- 8:14And committing to it means being it
- 8:16consistently even when it feels
- 8:17unfamiliar.
- 8:20[snorts] I remember for a long time even
- 8:22for uh when imposter syndrome would come
- 8:25up and I would see this like I would be
- 8:28like is this the real me? No the real me
- 8:30is the nineto-five job real me. One of
- 8:33the things I realized is that that 9
- 8:34toive job version of me was actually the
- 8:37real impostor
- 8:39because I was pretending for years to be
- 8:42a nineto-ive jobgo.
- 8:44But guess what? That wasn't really me.
- 8:47That was me still in a childhood
- 8:49pattern.
- 8:50That was me just playing out the
- 8:52dynamics that felt familiar to childhood
- 8:54where I had a boss tell me what to do
- 8:57and this is who I am and I don't like
- 8:59it, but it is the reality.
- 9:01I had to in a way break my core, break
- 9:04part of my core pattern to get into the
- 9:06energy
- 9:08of really being this new version of me.
- 9:12And it is here's the missing key for so
- 9:14many people watching this to really
- 9:16decide means there is most likely a core
- 9:20pattern from childhood you're going to
- 9:22have to begin to integrate.
- 9:26And that's the thing that always holds
- 9:28you back.
- 9:29Because if you have a childhood pattern
- 9:32around being afraid to be seen, well,
- 9:34guess what? When you start putting
- 9:36yourself out there, you start expressing
- 9:38the real you. You're going to be seen.
- 9:41When you're afraid of tension from other
- 9:44people and you start to actually express
- 9:46how you really feel, that's a block that
- 9:48will come up that will keep you in the
- 9:50childhood pattern that feels familiar.
- 9:54So, a big part of this decision that you
- 9:56make is about recognizing
- 9:59that you're making a decision, a choice
- 10:02to be the most authentic version of you.
- 10:06Not because of what it will get you, but
- 10:08because it's who you choose to be.
- 10:11And one of the things you want to become
- 10:12aware of also is what is your identity
- 10:14under the surface?
- 10:17And this is like part of the the deeper
- 10:19level here that we'll talk about for a
- 10:20moment. your identity, how you view
- 10:23yourself, you are thinking, feeling and
- 10:25acting equal to that identity.
- 10:28Until you become aware of that identity
- 10:32and become aware that that identity
- 10:34subconsciously is fighting to keep you
- 10:37in familiar, it will run your life.
- 10:40And making a decision literally means to
- 10:45abandon your old identity.
- 10:48Let that settle in for a moment. Your
- 10:51old identity has brought you safety.
- 10:54Your old identity has brought you, even
- 10:57if it's survival mode, it's got you by.
- 11:00So now what we're going to do is we're
- 11:03going to create a shift and we're going
- 11:04to decide that everything's going to
- 11:05work out. And we're going to start being
- 11:08this new version of ourselves.
- 11:10But there's a part of you that you're
- 11:12literally going to feel like you're
- 11:13abandoning.
- 11:15You might feel like you're going to be
- 11:17abandoned by friends and family if you
- 11:19step into a new you.
- 11:21You might feel like you're going to
- 11:22abandon a part of yourself.
- 11:25And something you want to realize is
- 11:27what you're really learning to do if you
- 11:29want the deeper level of this of how to
- 11:31move forward is you want to see, hear,
- 11:35soothe, and nurture that part of you
- 11:38that's afraid to be abandoned.
- 11:41the fra the part of you that's inside
- 11:42the the childhood pattern.
- 11:47So in a way when you think of this think
- 11:49of like
- 11:51when you make a choice from the level of
- 11:53an identity like I made a choice back in
- 11:562017 that I'm going to make daily videos
- 11:59that was coming from a level of
- 12:01presence.
- 12:03It wasn't just a mental thing. When I
- 12:05got into a flow state there was more
- 12:08presence underneath the surface.
- 12:10and people would feel what I felt. And
- 12:14that's what attracted people to my
- 12:15content. And that's why I went from zero
- 12:18to 100,000 followers in six months.
- 12:21Every time I showed up, I got more
- 12:23comfortable and familiar. Every time I
- 12:25showed up and I got into a flow state,
- 12:27something greater than me flow through.
- 12:30So that was the identity that was
- 12:32beginning to form inside of myself. But
- 12:35it wasn't an identity like I sat up
- 12:37every morning said I'm going to be
- 12:39YouTuber now. How do I model the
- 12:42actions? It wasn't a mental thing. It
- 12:44was a flow that happened as I released
- 12:47the old identity of the full-time
- 12:50version of myself.
- 12:52But what I had to do is I had to decide
- 12:55to get into the flow state. I had to
- 12:58decide to be more present.
- 13:01And part of that initiation is this.
- 13:05And if there's one thing you get from
- 13:06this video, I think this can completely
- 13:08transform your life.
- 13:10It's understanding that the block to
- 13:13this decision that everything will work
- 13:15out is partially a block because there's
- 13:19an old identity under the surface of who
- 13:24you believed you had to be as a kid in
- 13:27order to get your needs met,
- 13:30in order to get the approval or
- 13:31validation.
- 13:33So if as a kid you had one of the six
- 13:35core patterns as I call it, there's
- 13:38different core patterns. There's people
- 13:39pleasing,
- 13:41there's being invisible,
- 13:44there's controlling, self-reliance, and
- 13:46independence,
- 13:48overgiving.
- 13:50These are all different patterns.
- 13:53Perfectionism is another one. These are
- 13:55all patterns of who you had to be as a
- 13:57kid. Well, guess what? to make the
- 14:00decision to be that new version of you.
- 14:02One of these core patterns might be
- 14:05under the surface and you might feel
- 14:07like you're subconsciously leaving that
- 14:09part of yourself.
- 14:11And the key to this is to actually
- 14:13accept that part of you.
- 14:16I have a saying that goes, you can't
- 14:18change the pattern from the level of the
- 14:20pattern.
- 14:22You have to in a way accept that
- 14:24pattern, acknowledge it and then you
- 14:28begin to become more free because you
- 14:30begin to integrate another aspect of
- 14:32you.
- 14:34So one of the things to realize about
- 14:35this reality is that nothing has any
- 14:38built-in meaning other than the meaning
- 14:41you give it.
- 14:44Which means that at any moment you are
- 14:48the one that is choosing. Remember A
- 14:53B C
- 14:56always be choosing
- 14:58and what you are always choosing is the
- 15:00meaning you give things.
- 15:03And if I chose a meaning in 2017 of what
- 15:08brings me fulfillment for me to get into
- 15:10a flow state to be making videos
- 15:13and then I embody it and then I embody
- 15:16it again. And what happened after that?
- 15:20Oh yeah, I embodied it again.
- 15:23And you put in enough reps, it becomes a
- 15:25part of who you are.
- 15:28And what happened is with repetition
- 15:31that became something that I chose.
- 15:34But what a lot of people do is they
- 15:35choose it and then they let something
- 15:38else draw them away from it. They let
- 15:41doubt creep in because of what their
- 15:43friends or family will think.
- 15:46They let somebody else get in their ear
- 15:49and then they don't choose it anymore.
- 15:52They choose to instead be at the whims
- 15:54of other people.
- 15:56They choose to be back in the childhood
- 15:58pattern many times where things happen
- 16:01to you, not for you.
- 16:04So the key to this is recognizing that
- 16:07you do choose what things mean in your
- 16:09life. And at any moment if you give
- 16:12something a positive meaning,
- 16:16you can't help but get a positive effect
- 16:19out of it.
- 16:20Even if something negative happens and
- 16:23you give it a positive meaning, that may
- 16:26that positive meaning you give it will
- 16:28lead to more insights, more awareness
- 16:32or a better timeline due to that energy.
- 16:36It's a neutral thing though. Remember
- 16:38that you're the one giving things
- 16:40meaning.
- 16:42So you decide that things will work out
- 16:45and they will. It's just what is your
- 16:48definition for things working out?
- 16:51Because many people want to become a new
- 16:53version of themselves. But in order for
- 16:55it to work out, what that means is
- 16:57everything needs to be really really
- 16:59good and positive instead of the tension
- 17:02being created for you to become the
- 17:05version of you where these things are
- 17:07natural.
- 17:09When I look at my life over the last 8
- 17:12years, I've had a lot of amazing things
- 17:14that have happened in my life. I've also
- 17:16had a lot of things that were very
- 17:18challenging and hard.
- 17:20The things that were very challenging
- 17:22and hard were the some of the biggest
- 17:24gifts and the gold that allowed me to
- 17:27become the kind of person I am today
- 17:29where I can handle high stress
- 17:32experiences.
- 17:33I can handle going on stage in front of
- 17:36hundreds of people with no planned
- 17:38content whatsoever.
- 17:40I to get to this place now I had to go
- 17:42through some pretty uncomfortable
- 17:43emotions.
- 17:45So when I say decide everything will
- 17:47work out and it will understand this it
- 17:51will work out. But if you accept
- 17:53yourself on the journey and all the
- 17:56things that you'll experience along the
- 17:57way and see it as a part of the larger
- 18:00vision of the things you will learn, you
- 18:03will become the person where it is
- 18:05normal to your nervous system to be in
- 18:07that reality.
- 18:10Because it would be ridiculous to say
- 18:11just decide you will be given all of
- 18:13these things or win the lottery or get
- 18:16that job immediately when you apply and
- 18:18then if it doesn't you're like you said
- 18:20everything decide everything will happen
- 18:21and it will
- 18:24remember though you choose what meaning
- 18:27you give things and you choose when it's
- 18:28time to give up.
- 18:31I remember when I used to work at
- 18:33Nordstrom's in women's shoes at the rack
- 18:36I got paid hourly. I got paid like 10
- 18:38bucks an hour back in 2007 to 2010
- 18:41and I wanted to go to the fullline store
- 18:44where you got paid 20 $30 an hour
- 18:46commission job. I wanted to transfer
- 18:49over. I was told that if I stayed for 6
- 18:52months at that job that I could then
- 18:54transfer after the 6 months. I stayed
- 18:56for 6 months was a great employee after
- 18:58the end of six months I said I want to
- 19:00go to the full line store now. It's been
- 19:01six months. They said no.
- 19:05They said, "Uh, you you're not you're
- 19:07not going to the full line store because
- 19:08you're not ready." I said, "What do you
- 19:10mean I'm not ready? I'm like the best
- 19:11employee here. I show up consistently."
- 19:13They had a high turnover rate at that
- 19:15Nordstrom's rack. So, they didn't want
- 19:17me to go to the full line store because
- 19:19they wanted me to stay because I was a
- 19:21good employee. I knew that. I could I
- 19:24could sense that. So, what I decided to
- 19:26do is I decided to go to the full line
- 19:29store. I decided to talk to the manager
- 19:32of the whole entire store, which took
- 19:34like 20 minutes. I had to basically
- 19:36pretend that I had a customer issue
- 19:38because that was the only way they would
- 19:39bring the store manager down. It was a
- 19:41three-story big store. Down comes this
- 19:44woman named Lorie Joe, lady with short
- 19:46blonde hair. It was like kind of a boss
- 19:48chick that was like came over and I just
- 19:51explained it to her. I said, "Listen,
- 19:54these people at the rack, they're
- 19:55corrupt. They are running an operation
- 19:58where they're trying to keep me trapped
- 20:00working a 9 to5 job I don't like and we
- 20:03have to do something about it. I'm just
- 20:05kidding. I didn't say that. I said
- 20:07listen I said I am highly motivated. I
- 20:11want to get paid commission. I want to
- 20:13become a top salesperson. I want to work
- 20:15here in women shoes. I've been working
- 20:16for 6 months over there. I put in the
- 20:18request but they're not allowing me to
- 20:20come over because they say I'm not
- 20:21ready. I feel they're saying I'm not
- 20:23ready cuz I'm a good employee and
- 20:24there's a high turnover rate. She
- 20:26understood. She said, "Okay, I'm going
- 20:28to see what I can do." I go back. I get
- 20:30a call to the office the next day and
- 20:32you want to go again. I got told I got
- 20:35told, "Uh, we don't think you're ready,
- 20:38but we're going to let you go anyways.
- 20:41We don't think it we we're setting you
- 20:42up for failure, but we're going to let
- 20:43you go." And I said, "Okay, cool. I'll
- 20:45go fail." I went over to the fullline
- 20:48store. Within two or three months, I was
- 20:50considered an allstar. Somebody that
- 20:52like gave the best customer service. my
- 20:54people pleaser overgiving pattern paid
- 20:56off in retail sales. [laughter]
- 20:59And guess what? I got I went to a
- 21:00department meeting, a store meeting
- 21:02where even the rack came, the managers
- 21:03from the rack came and I got called up
- 21:05to the front for being one of the top
- 21:06salespeople and an all-star. And I
- 21:08remember making eye contact with those
- 21:10managers, thinking to myself, did you
- 21:12set me up for failure?
- 21:14The reason I share this story is at any
- 21:16moment I could have been like, I'm going
- 21:17to go to the full line store and I go
- 21:19and then and they say no. And I say,
- 21:20okay, I decided, but you said no.
- 21:23Sometimes decision happens and there's
- 21:25bumps that come up along the way. But
- 21:27guess what? You find a way to go through
- 21:30it. You don't let that hold you back.
- 21:33You are the one that decides and you are
- 21:35the one that decides to not decide any
- 21:37longer. But to you become this new
- 21:40version of you, guess what? You must
- 21:42take action consistently. You must show
- 21:45up every day. You must recognize that
- 21:48even though it might not make sense in
- 21:49the moment, maybe this is a larger
- 21:51picture of your life and the person you
- 21:53will become is somebody that's even more
- 21:56resilient than you can imagine.
- 21:59Okay, so let's look at this. First off,
- 22:01your identity is a very important part
- 22:04of a thing to become aware of your
- 22:06self-image.
- 22:08Become aware also that the actions
- 22:10you're taking, if you're coming like I'm
- 22:12a nineto-five jobgo, that's my identity
- 22:15and I'm going to be a YouTuber. You will
- 22:17find resistance with that like I did
- 22:19because I'm I'm like it's it's in a it's
- 22:23not in alignment with like my identity.
- 22:26I switched my identity to realize this
- 22:27is the real me. This was who I pretended
- 22:31to be for a long period of time. This
- 22:32nineto-ive job go with consistency. This
- 22:35was unfamiliar. With consistency of
- 22:37choosing it every day, whether videos
- 22:39went well or not,
- 22:42it was consistency. I became the person
- 22:45I learned. I I became resourceful. I
- 22:48became someone that was always learning.
- 22:49I learned how to edit videos. I learned
- 22:51thumbnails that would convert well and
- 22:52people would click on. I'd learn about
- 22:54topics I was passionate about. I became
- 22:56this version of me. And then eventually
- 22:58I used that same thing to become a
- 23:01person that runs live events that hot
- 23:03seat coaches people live on stage. Same
- 23:06thing. It was unfamiliar for a while. I
- 23:07was like, you know what? This has
- 23:08brought me a lot of safety making videos
- 23:10for 8 years. This is actually more in
- 23:12alignment with who I am.
- 23:15The decision that I've made at each of
- 23:16these levels was ani a decision from the
- 23:19level of the identity and it was a
- 23:22decision knowing that any adversity that
- 23:24would come up in the process was a part
- 23:26of the person I was becoming.
- 23:31So let that tension be your initiation
- 23:34into a new you.
- 23:37It's like if you were thinking of uh
- 23:39deciding that people aren't going to
- 23:41affect me anymore and I'm going to shed
- 23:42the peopleleasing pattern for example.
- 23:45The moment tension comes up you say nope
- 23:47I'm going to decide not to anymore. You
- 23:49have to decide even if it's
- 23:50uncomfortable. The uncomfortable is the
- 23:53goal. You have to decide even when your
- 23:56inner child stuff comes up and then see
- 23:58it, feel it, and let it be there.
- 24:00Acknowledge that part of you. This
- 24:03decision you're making is recognizing
- 24:05that meaning has nothing has built-in
- 24:07meaning other than the meaning you give
- 24:08it.
- 24:10And one of the most powerful things to
- 24:12understand
- 24:13is that in any moment you can allow
- 24:16yourself to show up consistently and
- 24:18decide who you are from a level of
- 24:20presence and identity.
- 24:23So when you look at having, doing, and
- 24:25being, many people are from the level of
- 24:28doing to get there, doing, doing, doing.
- 24:32Who do I need to be to become
- 24:34successful? I need to take lots of
- 24:36action. To get to the next level, I need
- 24:38to work harder. To get to the next
- 24:39level, I need to um whatever the pattern
- 24:43is. Normally, I need to give more. If
- 24:45it's an overgiver, I need to be uh it's
- 24:47it's or if you're invisible, I need to
- 24:49be seen. It feels uncomfortable. The
- 24:51person you become in this process is
- 24:53when you start to be it. Not because of
- 24:55the results,
- 24:57but it's because it's who you choose to
- 24:58be.
- 25:00and realize that this is where things
- 25:03really begin to shift is when you shift
- 25:04from focusing on outcome to your state
- 25:06of being and knowing that underneath the
- 25:10surface,
- 25:11this is who you really are.
- 25:15So, something else if you want to learn,
