3. 0:15themes.
4. 0:16And the best pirate game I have ever
5. 0:20played
6. 0:21is a game that you you really haven't
7. 0:23heard too much about. And that is Shiver
8. 0:26Me Timbers. Okay.
9. 0:29Today on Gamefound, it is going live for
10. 0:32a reprint. Also, it is has a
11. 0:37um an expansion that they're also going
12. 0:40to be uh putting on there. So, you're
13. 0:42going to get a reprint and then the
14. 0:43expansion of Gunpowder Glory. Now, the
15. 0:46reason we're not going to take a look at
16. 0:48Gunpowder Glory is the prototype that I
17. 0:51have, even though it is fun and
18. 0:53everything, it is
19. 0:56a little bit rough around the edges as
20. 0:58far as quality is. And I think it would
21. 1:00take away from what they are doing. But,
22. 1:04one of the best things about
23. 1:07Gunpowder Gunpowder Glory, which is live
24. 1:10today if you go to uh Gamefound, and you
25. 1:13want to get Shiver Me Tim- Timbers, is
26. 1:16some of the new things that they're
27. 1:17going to be adding to it. The life
28. 1:19goals, more treasure, new crew.
29. 1:22Um
30. 1:23this is a game that plays
31. 1:25um
32. 1:26like Sid Meier's Pirates. One of my
33. 1:30favorite favorite favorite games of all
34. 1:33time is playing
35. 1:35um
36. 1:37Sid Meier's Pirates. And the quality of
37. 1:40this game is ridiculous cuz you're going
38. 1:41to be going over all these different
39. 1:43tiles, and there's going to be a bunch
40. 1:45of different tiles that'll fold out like
41. 1:47this, and you can make all kinds of
42. 1:49different things as you go into certain
43. 1:51areas and stuff.
44. 1:53And
45. 1:54I just as much as I wanted to show this
46. 1:57to you, I I think it hurts it if I do.
47. 2:01Um
48. 2:02But, you're going to be adding so much
49. 2:05to this fantastic game. And the And with
50. 2:08the expansion Gunpowder Glory, you are
51. 2:11going to be getting solo rules finally.
52. 2:14Cuz that is the one thing that this game
53. 2:16has always missed. Now, I played it solo
54. 2:19a certain way, and it works, it doesn't
55. 2:22work. But, you're going to be going
56. 2:24through the the Pacific, and you're
57. 2:27you're going to have your ship. And your
58. 2:28ship isn't going to have any guns.
59. 2:30You're going to have to
60. 2:31you know, go to port to port to port to
61. 2:35to get um
62. 2:37you know, gold and uh different types of
63. 2:41of uh things to trade, you know, bananas
64. 2:44and all all that kind of different stuff
65. 2:46to
66. 2:48uh trade. And as you're carrying the
67. 2:50things, you're going to be adjusting
68. 2:52these dials, and this is what you're
69. 2:53going to be carrying. As you add things
70. 2:56to your ship, you're going to be adding
71. 2:57a mast. You'll be adding more guns.
72. 3:01Uh and this is going to help you in
73. 3:03battle because you're going to run into
74. 3:04all kinds of pirates and stuff like
75. 3:07that. And the end goal is to get the
76. 3:10most victory points after a certain
77. 3:12amount of time or or uh certain things
78. 3:16that are achieved. Um the the solo rules
79. 3:20are fantastic in this, and I really and
80. 3:24they're still working on them, of
81. 3:25course, which is fantastic.
82. 3:28Um
83. 3:30You are going to also get uh the new
84. 3:33islands, which is the Pirate Republic.
85. 3:35That is going to be really really really
86. 3:37cool. You're going to run into monsters
87. 3:39and marriage cards because just like in
88. 3:42Sid Meier's, you you know, you're you're
89. 3:44gaining uh you know, reputation and
90. 3:46stuff like that. Uh
91. 3:50Some of the other quick summary things,
92. 3:52exploration of course, the pirate
93. 3:54republic which is really cool because
94. 3:56they'll have cannons and things like
95. 3:58that. And they put in some of these
96. 4:00really kind of neat uh
97. 4:01um that are going to be nothing like
98. 4:04what they're going to have in the final
99. 4:06thing of uh things that you can use, but
100. 4:08again, I'm not going to show you.
101. 4:10Um there's going to be all kinds of
102. 4:13different things that is going to happen
103. 4:15in this fantastic little expansion that
104. 4:18actually enhances
105. 4:20this fantastic game. And it just feels
106. 4:23more and more like Sid Meier's Pirates.
107. 4:26And the quality, you know, being able to
108. 4:29to to uh have certain amount of goods
109. 4:32and count them up as you're traveling.
110. 4:35And then you're going to sell goods and
111. 4:36get gold. And and of course, you know,
112. 4:39everything in here is is is some of the
113. 4:41best quality stuff that you will ever
114. 4:43see.
115. 4:44Um again, like I said with the
116. 4:46prototype,
117. 4:47you know, a very very well done, very
118. 4:50smart. The pirate republic which I'm
119. 4:52going to show you because it's a little
120. 4:54rough. Um
121. 4:56uh you're this is going to be one of the
122. 4:58areas that you're going to land be able
123. 4:59to land in.
124. 5:01Uh there's going to be different things
125. 5:02that you're going to be able to
126. 5:03attribute. You're going to count, you
127. 5:05know, at the end of the game you count
128. 5:06up seals and stuff like that. And there
129. 5:09has never been a game that feels as much
130. 5:12as Sid Meier's uh Pirates, which is one
131. 5:15of my favorite computer games of all
132. 5:17time. Um and I can easily tell you that
133. 5:21Shiver Me Timbers, that is finally
134. 5:22getting a reprint, is probably one of my
135. 5:25favorite pirate games of all time. And
136. 5:29there are a lot of good ones out there,
137. 5:31but if you haven't tried this or looked
138. 5:34at it, go over to Game Found right now.

141. 5:41about, why this is what it is. Fighting,
142. 5:45if you know, there's going to be certain

147. 5:54know, you defeat just like when you
148. 5:56sword fight in Pirates.
149. 5:59This is a remarkable remarkable game.
