  1. 0:05first of all thanks for being here in my
  2. 0:08YouTube channel so in this lesson number
  3. 0:10one on the topic number system now we
  4. 0:13are going to learn introduction about it
  5. 0:16so before solving a question on the
  6. 0:17topic number system first in this video
  7. 0:19we can learn some of the important
  8. 0:21points to remember right so listen here
  9. 0:23if you take a number system quantitative
  10. 0:26aptitude topic it is very easy if you
  11. 0:28are going for any competative exams even
  12. 0:31if you're are going for a campus
  13. 0:32interview you can able to see minimum of
  14. 0:35one question from this topic number
  15. 0:37system and maximum two or three question
  16. 0:40and listen here why I am saying this
  17. 0:41number system topic is easy because it
  18. 0:44does not have any formulas to solve you
  19. 0:46just have to read the question twice or
  20. 0:49Thrice you have to understand the
  21. 0:51question and then you can solve by your
  22. 0:53own way right because these are the
  23. 0:55questions does not requir any formula to
  24. 0:57solve you just have to understand the
  25. 0:59question
  26. 1:00but understanding a question right only
  27. 1:03if you know some of the important points
  28. 1:06what is called as prime number what is
  29. 1:08called as divisibility rule integer
  30. 1:12rational numbers irrational numbers
  31. 1:14divisibility rule so these concepts are
  32. 1:18important before solving all those
  33. 1:20question you have to learn all these
  34. 1:22Concepts right only if you know the
  35. 1:24basics of number system you can able to
  36. 1:27solve the question right so listen here
  37. 1:29here in this video I'm just going to
  38. 1:31teach you uh the easiest way to learn
  39. 1:34I'm just going to draw a chart here so
  40. 1:37that you can able to learn all the
  41. 1:39concepts easily by only the chart so now
  42. 1:42let we move on to the chart that is
  43. 1:44based on number system so friends listen
  44. 1:46here instead of spending more number of
  45. 1:48time on biting the concepts better you
  46. 1:51can understand this chart what I'm going
  47. 1:53to teach now if you understand this
  48. 1:55chart then you can save more number of
  49. 1:57time instead of biting it it is easy
  50. 1:59right just see here first let me take
  51. 2:02numbers so numbers is basically
  52. 2:05separated into two categories so
  53. 2:08category number one will be real numbers
  54. 2:11got it category number two is imaginary
  55. 2:15numbers so numbers are separated into
  56. 2:17two parts one is a real number and the
  57. 2:20second is the imaginary number so first
  58. 2:22you need to know what is called as real
  59. 2:24number and what is called as imaginary
  60. 2:26numbers just see here numbers let me
  61. 2:29take example 4 + 3 I got it 4 + 3 a here
  62. 2:354 is a normal number which is called as
  63. 2:37a real number imagine imaginary number
  64. 2:41is like whenever you can able to see
  65. 2:43that letter I sometimes you can able to
  66. 2:46see root of I root of I is minus one so
  67. 2:49these cases is called as imaginary
  68. 2:51numbers if a number contains a letter I
  69. 2:54is called as an imaginary numbers if a
  70. 2:57normal number is called as a real
  71. 2:59numbers just see here we are preparing
  72. 3:02for competive exams in the compettive
  73. 3:04exams
  74. 3:0599% imaginary number questions will not
  75. 3:09be asked only if you are preparing for
  76. 3:119th standard 10th standard or
  77. 3:13engineering mathematics there we can
  78. 3:15able to see more number of questions on
  79. 3:17imaginary but in quantitative aptitude
  80. 3:20you don't want to learn this imaginary
  81. 3:22number Concepts right you can
  82. 3:24concentrate only on the real numbers got
  83. 3:27it second this real number is
  84. 3:30categorized into two parts one is
  85. 3:34irrational numbers got it and the second
  86. 3:37is the rational
  87. 3:40numbers rational numbers and irrational
  88. 3:44numbers so let me understand what is
  89. 3:46called as a rational number and what is
  90. 3:49irrational number just see here what is
  91. 3:51root of 9 root of 9 is three yes or no
  92. 3:55what is root of two root of two will be
  93. 3:591 Point
  94. 4:00414 213 5 6 it goes on yes or no when
  95. 4:06you look at the calculator just check
  96. 4:07the calculator what is square root of
  97. 4:09two if you find what is square root of
  98. 4:12two we have learned only
  99. 4:141.414 but actually the square root of 2
  100. 4:17is 1.414 21356 it goes on it does not
  101. 4:22have an any end so these cases are
  102. 4:25called as irrational numbers so got it
  103. 4:28only if it is a root 9 is 3 right this
  104. 4:31number has an end but this number does
  105. 4:33not has an end so if a number that does
  106. 4:36not has an any end is called as
  107. 4:38irrational numbers for example < tk2 <
  108. 4:42tk3 so these are the numbers yes or no <
  109. 4:45tk2 < tk3 these are the numbers does not
  110. 4:48have any end after the decimal point so
  111. 4:50these numbers are called as irrational
  112. 4:52numbers right so these are the small
  113. 4:54small numbers for example a root of 144
  114. 4:57is 12 yes or no and normal number three
  115. 5:00normal number four it has an end so
  116. 5:03these numbers are called as a rational
  117. 5:05numbers understood so now we have
  118. 5:07learned what is called as numbers how it
  119. 5:09is separated into two types so in the
  120. 5:12real numbers we have two type one is
  121. 5:14called as a rational numbers and the
  122. 5:16second is called as irrational numbers
  123. 5:18got it next this rational numbers are
  124. 5:22separated into two parts see one is the
  125. 5:27integer and second is the
  126. 5:30fraction it is easy what is called as an
  127. 5:33integer integer is a normal numbers for
  128. 5:36example 1 2 3 4 this is called as an
  129. 5:39integer fraction it is easy right so 1X
  130. 5:423 3x 7 no fraction numbers just a
  131. 5:46fraction numbers got it so this rational
  132. 5:48numbers are separated into two
  133. 5:50categories one is a normal integer and
  134. 5:54the second is the fraction numbers if
  135. 5:56you take this integer this integer is a
  136. 5:59separated into for example positive
  137. 6:03integer negative integer and a number
  138. 6:06zero see positive integer is nothing but
  139. 6:101 comma 2 comma 3A 4 till n is called as
  140. 6:13an positive integer negative integer is
  141. 6:17-1a -2 -3 -4 it goes on till Min - n it
  142. 6:22is called as a negative integer zero is
  143. 6:25a normal number starting number zero
  144. 6:27right so this is a zero so this in
  145. 6:29integer is separated into three
  146. 6:31categories positive integer negative
  147. 6:34integer and then a zeros got it so now
  148. 6:37let me take this positive integer
  149. 6:39positive integer is what 1 2 3 4 so this
  150. 6:42positive integer is categorized into two
  151. 6:45parts one is the natural numbers second
  152. 6:49is the whole number everyone knows it
  153. 6:52what is called as natural numbers and
  154. 6:54numbers that start from 1 1A 2 comma 3A
  155. 6:574 until n it is called as natural
  156. 7:01numbers what is called as old number a
  157. 7:03same set of series if it start from zero
  158. 7:070a 1 comma 2 comma 3A 4 until n it is
  159. 7:11called as a old numbers so friends got
  160. 7:14it just here integer is separated into
  161. 7:17sub it subdivided into three parts
  162. 7:19positive integer negative integer and a
  163. 7:22zero you know what is called as integer
  164. 7:24integer is just a normal number 1A 2
  165. 7:27comma 4 comma n so we have integer two
  166. 7:31type positive integer negative integer
  167. 7:33and a number zero so if you take a
  168. 7:35positive integer that can be separated
  169. 7:37into a natural number and a whole number
  170. 7:41natural number is nothing like a series
  171. 7:43that start from one is called as natural
  172. 7:45number if a series that start from zero
  173. 7:48is called as a whole number got it the
  174. 7:50last step this natural number is
  175. 7:53separated into four important there are
  176. 7:56many parts but I'm teaching you only
  177. 7:58four important parts that are important
  178. 8:00for competitive exams so 1A 2 comma 3A 4
  179. 8:04till n how you can separate this even
  180. 8:07numbers yes even numbers 2 4 6 8 even
  181. 8:11numbers second will be odd numbers third
  182. 8:15will be prime numbers yes or no what is
  183. 8:17called as prime number 3 5 7 those cases
  184. 8:20are called as prime numbers and the last
  185. 8:23is the composite number you should know
  186. 8:26what is called as composite number
  187. 8:28composite number is number which have
  188. 8:31more than two factors for example let me
  189. 8:34take number 15 how many factors we have
  190. 8:375 into 3 will be 15 1 Factor 3 into 5
  191. 8:41will be 15 1 into 15 will be 15 15 into
  192. 8:451 will be 15 so if a number which has
  193. 8:48more than two factor is called as a
  194. 8:51composite number that's it right just
  195. 8:54see how easily we have categorized the
  196. 8:56number system and now without Bing it it
  197. 8:59is easy to understand the entire concept
  198. 9:03again I'm saying there are more
  199. 9:04important points other than this but I'm
  200. 9:07teaching only for the exam point of view
  201. 9:09right for the exam competitive exam
  202. 9:11point of view can teach you again one
  203. 9:12time see first numbers numbers are
  204. 9:15separated into two category one is a
  205. 9:17real number and second is the imaginary
  206. 9:20numbers so real number is the normal
  207. 9:22numbers imaginary number is the number
  208. 9:24that contains I letter I is called as
  209. 9:27imaginary numbers so you don't want to
  210. 9:29concentrate on more on imaginary numbers
  211. 9:31because only if we preparing for school
  212. 9:34colleges those cases we have to learn
  213. 9:36this imaginary numbers for the
  214. 9:38competitive exams quantitative aptitude
  215. 9:41so this real number is more than enough
  216. 9:43second the real number is categorized
  217. 9:45into two parts one is a rational number
  218. 9:48and a irrational number I have told you
  219. 9:51what is the difference between
  220. 9:52irrational numbers and the rational
  221. 9:54numbers if a number that does not have
  222. 9:56an end it is called as irrational number
  223. 9:59example square root of two if you find
  224. 10:01what is the value of square root of 2
  225. 10:031.414 213 56 it goes on right so those
  226. 10:07cases is called as an irrational numbers
  227. 10:10so rational number is like normal number
  228. 10:12root of 9 3 4 5 Etc got it so now this
  229. 10:17rational numbers are separated into two
  230. 10:19category one is a normal integer and
  231. 10:23second is the fraction fraction everyone
  232. 10:25knows 1X 3 2x 7 the number as numerator
  233. 10:29as well as a denominator is called as a
  234. 10:31fraction got it and integer so integer
  235. 10:35are separated into positive integer
  236. 10:37negative integer and a number zero so
  237. 10:40positive integer is nothing but 1A 2
  238. 10:42comma 3 negative integer -1 - 2 - 3 and
  239. 10:46the last is zero right number zero now
  240. 10:49this positive integer is separated into
  241. 10:51two categories a series that start from
  242. 10:54one is called as a natural number a
  243. 10:56series that starts with 0 1A 2 3 is
  244. 10:59called as a old number at the last this
  245. 11:02natural number is separated into four
  246. 11:04important parts even number odd number
  247. 11:08prime number composite number you know
  248. 11:11what is called as even number 2 comma 4
  249. 11:13comma 6 what is called as odd number 1
  250. 11:15comma 3 comma 5 what is called as prime
  251. 11:18number 357 right and what is called as
  252. 11:20composite number a number which has more
  253. 11:23than two
  254. 11:25factors got it is called as a composite
  255. 11:28numbers so it is enough friends in this
  256. 11:30video it is more than enough so in the
  257. 11:32next video we can learn some of the
  258. 11:34basics and we can start solving the
  259. 11:36questions so many students usually sit
  260. 11:38and buyart all these stuffs don't buyart
  261. 11:40it now it is easy right so just take
  262. 11:42down this as a note and you know if
  263. 11:44you're preparing for competitive exams
  264. 11:46just take a note of it start learning
  265. 11:48all the concepts here what is called as
  266. 11:50irrational numbers just take some
  267. 11:52examples and see so that number system
  268. 11:54will be very easy so thank you so much
  269. 11:57for watching this video so if you really
  270. 11:59like it share the video to your friends
  271. 12:01those who are preparing for the
  272. 12:02competitive exams so in the next lesson
  273. 12:04we can learn some more Concepts and we
  274. 12:06can start solving a question so thank
  275. 12:08you so much for watching it bye
