- 0:01first of all thanks for being here
- 0:04in my youtube channel so in this lesson
- 0:06number four
- 0:07on the topic number system now we are
- 0:10going to learn a concept called a
- 0:12reminder theorem
- 0:13so reminder theorem is nothing but to
- 0:15find a reminder of the number
- 0:17usually they will give some sort of
- 0:18question for example 23 power
- 0:215 divided by 5 so we have to solve the
- 0:24question we have to divide the numbers
- 0:26and we have to find the reminder for it
- 0:29right so those type of questions we are
- 0:31going to learn
- 0:32in this lesson number four so listen
- 0:34here friends lesson number three that is
- 0:36previous lesson
- 0:37is most important lesson finding a unit
- 0:40digit
- 0:40got it so this reminder theorem is a
- 0:43rare case right in the exams
- 0:45most of the competitive exams usually
- 0:47they will concentrate on the
- 0:49previous lesson unit digit but if you
- 0:52are preparing for
- 0:53cat exams or else a gate exams
- 0:56or else ssc exams those students should
- 0:59concentrate on this
- 1:00reminder theorem also so friends listen
- 1:03here
- 1:04this reminder theorem is subdivided into
- 1:07two categories
- 1:08one is finding a reminder for the normal
- 1:12numbers
- 1:13got it so normal numbers let me take 23
- 1:16by 5.
- 1:17so they usually give a question like
- 1:19this and our target is to find what is
- 1:21the reminder
- 1:22got it it's a normal numbers and the
- 1:24second will be
- 1:26a polynomial numbers polynomial numbers
- 1:29is nothing but for example
- 1:30x square plus 7 x plus 2 so this
- 1:33complete
- 1:34term should be divided by x square plus
- 1:362. so we have to find
- 1:38what is the reminder for this number so
- 1:42listen here if you are preparing for cat
- 1:45gate exams then preparing for any campus
- 1:48interview
- 1:49so those students should concentrate
- 1:51both the topics right you need to
- 1:53concentrate both the sections
- 1:54because in most of the cat exams they
- 1:56have asked a question from this area
- 1:58and most of the gate exams they have
- 2:00asked a question from this area the sse
- 2:02also
- 2:02got it so you have to concentrate both
- 2:05but if you are preparing for
- 2:07any state level competitive exams for
- 2:10example tamilnadu state level
- 2:12or big or state level competitive exams
- 2:14gujarat state level etc
- 2:16you have to concentrate 80 percentage on
- 2:18this topic
- 2:19and 20 percentage on this topic so got
- 2:21it so
- 2:23based on the exams what you are
- 2:25preparing you need to concentrate on
- 2:26this
- 2:27reminder theorem right so here in this
- 2:30video i am just going to teach you the
- 2:32normal numbers how to find the reminder
- 2:34for the normal numbers
- 2:35so in the next video i will be teaching
- 2:37how to find the reminder
- 2:39for the polynomial numbers right so
- 2:41friends listen here
- 2:42in this video we are going to solve 10
- 2:44question that is based on a normal
- 2:46numbers
- 2:47first and foremost is by seeing a
- 2:50question
- 2:51don't decide the question is tougher for
- 2:53example the question will be given like
- 2:55this
- 2:55517 power 5 17 divided by
- 2:595 just see here if you see the question
- 3:02like this 5
- 3:0217 power 5 17 we have to find
- 3:06the reminder for this question right by
- 3:09seeing the question don't decide the
- 3:11question is difficult
- 3:12again i am saying there are very simple
- 3:14logics to solve this question very easy
- 3:17it requires some practice if you
- 3:20practice those questions then solving
- 3:22all the tough level question based on
- 3:24this normal numbers will be easy
- 3:26but before that you have to buy out some
- 3:28of the numbers
- 3:292 power 1 is 2 2 square is 4
- 3:332 power 3 is 8 so till try to learn up
- 3:36to 2 power
- 3:375 got it so similarly 3 power 1 is 3
- 3:413 power 2 is 9 so similarly try to learn
- 3:44up to 3 power 5 it is
- 3:45enough these two numbers are more than
- 3:47enough to crack the question
- 3:49got reference so let me want to all the
- 3:52questions that is based on a normal
- 3:54numbers
- 3:58so initially let me go with five example
- 4:01questions right
- 4:02so first question 23 by 5 so we have to
- 4:05find
- 4:06what is the reminder for 23 by 5 so
- 4:09usually how will you find the reminder
- 4:11you will divide 23 by 5 times so no
- 4:14five fours are 20 so what about the
- 4:16reminder here three
- 4:17so we would say the answer for this
- 4:19question is three so the reminder is
- 4:21three
- 4:22every time in the exams you should not
- 4:24do like this
- 4:25it's completely waste of time right for
- 4:27those cases what you need to do is
- 4:29you try to directly cancel year itself
- 4:31in the mind calculations
- 4:33and try to find the reminder just see
- 4:35here how many times
- 4:365 into 4 is what 20 so what is the
- 4:39reminder that we have what is a balance
- 4:41number
- 4:42if 5 into 4 is 20 what will be the
- 4:44balance number is 3
- 4:45so we call 3 as a reminder got it or not
- 4:48right
- 4:48always try to find the reminder for all
- 4:51these types of numbers
- 4:52in the mind calculation do not do like
- 4:54this it's a schooling method you should
- 4:56not
- 4:57proceed in this way to solve all these
- 4:59questions right
- 5:00so let me take the second example 17
- 5:03divided by six
- 5:04so what is the reminder six threes are
- 5:0618
- 5:07but six twos are 12 yes or no 6 into 2
- 5:11times is what 12 so what is the reminder
- 5:13that we have is 5
- 5:15so 5 will be the reminder for this
- 5:18question
- 5:18so friends got it or not right so 6 into
- 5:202 is 12
- 5:22so 17 minus 12 is 5 so reminder is 5.
- 5:25so one important note never forget this
- 5:28note right
- 5:29so never and ever forget this note while
- 5:32solving the reminder theorem
- 5:34always after finding the reminder
- 5:37you have to check the reminder
- 5:40number the answer that we got reminder
- 5:43should be
- 5:43low when compared to this denominator
- 5:46number
- 5:47see for the first equation the reminder
- 5:48is 3 the denominator is 5
- 5:51always the reminder value should be low
- 5:53when compared to the denominator value
- 5:56similarly here we got the reminder 5 so
- 5:59the number 5
- 6:00is low when compared to 6 so we are
- 6:02saying that the reminder will be 5
- 6:05got it so let me move on to the third
- 6:07question just a third question
- 6:0986 into 23 divided by 11.
- 6:12so friends just listen here you don't
- 6:14want to multiply like some students what
- 6:16they usually do is
- 6:17they will multiply 86 into 20 then they
- 6:20would find the answer
- 6:21and then finally they would divide by
- 6:2311. don't do that it's a time waste
- 6:26what you need to do here is you need to
- 6:28divide
- 6:29all the individual numbers by 11. first
- 6:32divide 86 alone by 11 got it so how many
- 6:36times
- 6:368 times will be 88 7 times will be 77
- 6:40yes or no
- 6:4111 into 7 will be 77 got it so what is
- 6:45the reminder that we have
- 6:46if it is 77 6 7 8 9 so 9
- 6:50will be the reminder got it or not again
- 6:53divide 23
- 6:54by 11 2 times 11 into 2 is 22
- 6:57so we got a reminder as 1 so finally
- 7:019 into 1 will be 9 so 9
- 7:04is the reminder for the given number so
- 7:06friends understood or not how i am
- 7:08solving it right
- 7:09so you have to divide each and
- 7:12every number individually by 11. you
- 7:15don't want to multiply both the numbers
- 7:17it's a completely time waste i am just
- 7:19dividing 86 by 11 separately
- 7:2223 by 11 separately after finding the
- 7:25reminder i am multiplying both
- 7:27understood or not right so let me move
- 7:29on to question number four
- 7:3038 plus 71 plus 86
- 7:34listen here so first first you can
- 7:37either you can add all the numbers and
- 7:39then you can divide by 16
- 7:41you will get the answer or else what you
- 7:43can do is
- 7:44you can divide all the individual
- 7:46numbers by 16
- 7:48first divide 38 by 16 1 16 are 16
- 7:5216 2's are 32 16 3's are 48 but our
- 7:55target is 38 right so we can say that
- 7:5816 into 2 will be 32
- 8:01so 30 to 38 what is the reminder we have
- 8:046 is the reminder got it so similarly
- 8:0716 into 4 will be 64. so what is the
- 8:11reminder that we have is
- 8:127 got it so similarly 86 divided by 16
- 8:1716 fourths are 64. 16 5's are 80.
- 8:20so what is the reminder that we have a 6
- 8:23got it
- 8:23so finally i am dividing all the
- 8:26individual numbers
- 8:27by 16 38 by 16 71 by 16
- 8:3186 by 16 and finally i got all the
- 8:34reminders here first let me add the
- 8:35reminder
- 8:366 into 6 sorry 6 plus 6 will be 12
- 8:3912 7 will be 19
- 8:42you should not say 19 is the reminder
- 8:46why because just now i have told you
- 8:48keep that in mind never forget this note
- 8:50always after finding the reminder you
- 8:54have to check the reminder should be low
- 8:56when compared to the divisor that is by
- 8:59dividing the number right what we are
- 9:00going to divide see 19 is not low 19 is
- 9:04the highest number
- 9:05when compared to the divider right what
- 9:07you need to do is you need to again
- 9:09divide by 16
- 9:10if you divide by 16 1 16 are 16
- 9:14reminder will be 3 so finally the
- 9:17reminder for the question is 3
- 9:19friends understood or not right always
- 9:21remember that
- 9:22after finding the answer you need to
- 9:24check whether the reminder number is
- 9:27low when compared to the divisor got it
- 9:30if it is not low then you have to again
- 9:33divide by the divisor
- 9:34so divided by 16 so one times a reminder
- 9:37will be 3
- 9:38so finally 3 is the reminder got it now
- 9:41the reminder value is low when compared
- 9:43to the divisor
- 9:44so this is the way you have to solve the
- 9:46question so fifth question
- 9:48123 into 124 into 125.
- 9:52see multiplying if you start multiplying
- 9:55all the three numbers
- 9:56how much lengthy it is first you need to
- 9:58multiply 123 into 124
- 10:01after finding that answer you have to
- 10:02again multiply by 125
- 10:04so don't do that what should be a target
- 10:07you need to find
- 10:08what is the reminder for all the numbers
- 10:11individually
- 10:12so divide 123 by 9 right if you divide
- 10:15by 9
- 10:161 9's are nine so reminding us what
- 10:19three thirty three
- 10:20nine threes are 27 so reminder is what
- 10:24six so finally we can say that six will
- 10:27be the reminder for the first number
- 10:29for the second number seven will be the
- 10:31reminder for the third number eight will
- 10:32be the remainder got it
- 10:34because 123 6 then 124 will be 7
- 10:37125 will be 8. so totally the reminders
- 10:40are
- 10:416 into 7 into 8 divided by
- 10:44now what you need to do is you can
- 10:46multiply 6 into 7
- 10:48so 6 into 7 is 42 so 42
- 10:51into 8 by 9 got it so again for the
- 10:54individual numbers divided by 9
- 10:56if you divide 42 by 9 so
- 10:59nine fours are 36 so reminder will be
- 11:02six here so this will be the reminder
- 11:04so again we got six into eight divided
- 11:07by nine
- 11:08so eight six are 48 by nine got it
- 11:11so 9 into 5 will be 45
- 11:15so remaining will be 3 got it so finally
- 11:18we can say that
- 11:19answer for question number 5 is 3 so
- 11:22friends understood what i did
- 11:23so for every number individual numbers i
- 11:26am just finding the reminder reminder
- 11:28at last i'm fine finding the final
- 11:30reminder
- 11:31always remember that the final reminder
- 11:34value should be low when compared to the
- 11:36divisor
- 11:36right right so initially i found the
- 11:38reminder for 123 6.
- 11:41if you divide 123 by 9 reminder will be
- 11:436
- 11:44similarly for the next number is 7 for
- 11:46the last number is 8
- 11:47and then we have to multiply all the
- 11:49numbers so 6 initially i have first
- 11:51multiplied the 2 numbers 6 into 7 is 42
- 11:54so 42 remaining number is 8 divided by 9
- 11:57again for the individual number 42 i
- 12:00have divided by 9
- 12:01so reminder will be 6 so 6 into 8 again
- 12:0416 into 8 is 48
- 12:06right so 48 divided by 9 9 5's are 45
- 12:10so reminder will be 3 so 3 divided by 9.
- 12:13so finally we can say that
- 12:14we got a reminder 3 further you don't
- 12:17want to divide by 9
- 12:18why because 3 cannot be divided by 9 9
- 12:21but can be divided by 3 but 3 cannot be
- 12:23divided by 9
- 12:24so finally we can say that reminder for
- 12:26question number 5
- 12:27is 3 question number 6 so 7 power
- 12:315 divided by 4 so we have to find what
- 12:34is the reminder for this number
- 12:36see here if it is 7 square by 4 it is
- 12:38easy to find the answer
- 12:40because 7 square is 49 if it is 7 cube
- 12:43343 by 4 that is also easy but 7
- 12:46power 5 finding a number for 7 power 5
- 12:50is very much difficult
- 12:51so what you can do here is you can write
- 12:54this 7 power 5
- 12:55as 7 into 7 into 7 into 7
- 12:58got it divided by 4 got the logic or not
- 13:02now every individual number i am going
- 13:04to divide by 4
- 13:06if you divide 7 by 4 one fours are
- 13:094 reminding us what 3 so for every
- 13:12number
- 13:13we got a reminder 3 3 3
- 13:16and 3 friends got it or not so 3 into 3
- 13:20into 3 into 3 into 3 divided by 4
- 13:24according what i did so for every
- 13:26individual numbers for every individual
- 13:28number i am dividing by 4.
- 13:30if you divide 7 by 4 one force or 4
- 13:33reminder will be three
- 13:34so that's the thing i have written here
- 13:35right for first seven reminder three
- 13:37three three
- 13:38now what i can do here is i can multiply
- 13:40the first
- 13:41two numbers three into three is nine
- 13:43again three into three
- 13:45is nine got it so by four got the logic
- 13:48or not
- 13:49again i'm going to divide the individual
- 13:51number by four
- 13:52so how many times four twos are is what
- 13:54eight what is the reminder here
- 13:56one again four twos are eight reminder
- 13:59is one
- 14:00so one into 1 into 3 will be 3
- 14:03so finally we can say that the reminder
- 14:05for 7 power 5 divided by 4 is 3
- 14:08you don't want to divide 3 by 4 just now
- 14:11i have told you
- 14:12you need to find the reminder but
- 14:14remember one thing
- 14:15the reminder value should be low when
- 14:17compared to the denominator number
- 14:19never forget this right sometimes
- 14:21students will make a mistake that's
- 14:23that's the thing i'm repeatedly saying
- 14:24this
- 14:25always remember that after finding the
- 14:27reminder check one time with the divisor
- 14:30always the reminder value should be low
- 14:33when compared to the denominator number
- 14:34that is the division
- 14:36got it so finally we can say that three
- 14:38will be the reminder
- 14:39for question number six so friends got
- 14:41it or not right
- 14:42i'm just finding the reminder reminder
- 14:44reminder till i get the last reminder
- 14:47got it so this will be the answer for
- 14:49question number six
- 14:50so question number seven so 2 power 75
- 14:54divided by 5 so now we are entering into
- 14:56some difficult level question
- 14:58just here if it is 2 power 5 example i
- 15:01am saying if it is 2 power 5
- 15:03it is easy to write 2 into 2 into 2 into
- 15:052
- 15:06but here the number is 2 power 75
- 15:09we can't able to write like that right
- 15:11so what you need to do is just now i
- 15:13have told you
- 15:13initial stage of the video you have to
- 15:16buy out some of the numbers
- 15:172 power 1 is 2 2 square is 4 2
- 15:21cube is 8 so after biting all the
- 15:23numbers just listen carefully what i am
- 15:24going to do is
- 15:25i'm just going to uh just see i can
- 15:28write here 2 power 1 is what
- 15:302 square is 4 2 cube is 8
- 15:332 power 4 is 16 this year
- 15:365 under 16 i can mult 5 into 3 is what
- 15:4015 right so this 16 number right the
- 15:43number 16
- 15:44is most probably nearer to this 5
- 15:46multiples
- 15:47yes so now 5 into 3 is 15 so 2 power 4
- 15:51is 16 now i'm just going to
- 15:53convert the numerator value as just
- 15:55listen carefully
- 15:562 power 4 got it 2 power 4 right
- 16:00so divide this 75 by 4 if i divide 75 by
- 16:034
- 16:04so one fours are 4 so reminding us three
- 16:07right
- 16:0835 so 35 is eight fours are
- 16:1132 right so remaining is what three
- 16:14so this can be written as two power
- 16:16three divided by five
- 16:18so friends try to understand how i wrote
- 16:20this so if you
- 16:22understood this logic then solving all
- 16:25the questions will be easy
- 16:27got it how i write this initially they
- 16:29have given a number as 2 power 75
- 16:31right by seeing a denominator number is
- 16:345
- 16:34we already learned up to 2 power 5 in
- 16:37the initial stage of the video right
- 16:39so you have to check 5 multiples which
- 16:41number here right you can take 5
- 16:43multiples of 16 why because
- 16:44it is little bit nearer number 5 into 3
- 16:47is 15
- 16:48so i can take 16 here nearer number so i
- 16:51am just going to convert this 2 power 75
- 16:54as 2 power 4 because 2 power 4 is 16
- 16:57so 2 power 4 power 18 into 2 power 3
- 17:01so 18 into 4 2 power 3 if you add both
- 17:04the numbers you will get 2 power 75
- 17:07now what i can do is this 2 power 4 can
- 17:09be written as 16 power
- 17:1118 into 2 cube will be 8
- 17:14divided by 5 got it because 2 power 4 is
- 17:1716
- 17:18right so power 18 asset is 2 cube is 8.
- 17:22now just here for individual number this
- 17:24individual number alone
- 17:26i am going to divide by 5. so 1 5's are
- 17:295
- 17:29phi 3s are what 15 reminder is what 1
- 17:33so 1 power 18 into 8 divided by 5
- 17:37understood or not
- 17:38right what i did 16 power 18 got it
- 17:41for this individual number 16 alone i'm
- 17:43going to divide by 5
- 17:4516 by 5 will be 3 times 5 into 3 is 15
- 17:49so reminder is what 1 so 1 power 18 into
- 17:528 by 5
- 17:531 power 18 so 1 power any number will be
- 17:56always 1
- 17:57so this can be written as 8 divided by 5
- 18:00you should not stop here
- 18:02why because i have just told you the
- 18:03remainder value should be low when
- 18:05compared to the divisor
- 18:06so again 1 5s are 5 so reminding us what
- 18:103 so 3 will be the reminder for this
- 18:13question
- 18:14so friends understood or not how i did
- 18:16this if you can't able to understand it
- 18:18again start watching from the first
- 18:20stage of the video and for complete uh
- 18:22solving this question
- 18:24this step alone is important by just
- 18:27watching
- 18:28one question you can't able to
- 18:29understand it it requires more practice
- 18:32again i am saying
- 18:33take your books practice 10 or 20
- 18:35questions
- 18:36automatically you know how to write like
- 18:38that got it
- 18:39so first 2 power 4 is 16 right some
- 18:42students will ask why i can't able to
- 18:44take 2 power 8 can i take 2 power 3
- 18:46yes you can you will get the same answer
- 18:48but always remember that
- 18:50try to take the divisor nearby multiples
- 18:53only then it is easy to solve the
- 18:55question
- 18:56so 5 3 will be 15 so only i have take 2
- 18:58power 4
- 18:59right so 2 power 4 i have just divided
- 19:0175 by 4
- 19:02is 18 remainder is 3 got it so i have
- 19:05written as 18 here
- 19:06the reminder 3 has 2 power 3. so now if
- 19:09you add
- 19:1018 into 4 and then 2 power 3 you will
- 19:12get 75
- 19:13okay so finally answer for question
- 19:16number 7 where the reminder is 3
- 19:18question number 8 so just see the
- 19:20question number 8 7 power 129 divided by
- 19:235
- 19:24so we have to find the remainder so from
- 19:26just here
- 19:277 power 129 it is not easy to write 7
- 19:30into 7 into 7
- 19:31so we have to use certain tricks to
- 19:33solve this question
- 19:34just listen carefully first what i can
- 19:36do is in the previous question the
- 19:38numerator is 2
- 19:39so we can easily write down as 2 power 4
- 19:41something but here the numerator is 7
- 19:43so what you need to do is just take the
- 19:46number 7 alone just
- 19:47listen carefully just take the number 7
- 19:50alone right
- 19:51not the power 129 i am just taking the
- 19:53number 7 alone
- 19:547 individual number divided by 5 so 1
- 19:575's are 5 reminding us what 2 so the
- 20:00remainder is 2 so
- 20:022 power 129 2 power 129 divided by
- 20:075 so friends understood this step or not
- 20:09how i wrote this
- 20:11i am just dividing the individual number
- 20:137 alone by 5
- 20:157 by 5 1 5 5 the remainder will be 2
- 20:19so now i write this complete number as 2
- 20:21power 1 29 by 5 right
- 20:23so 2 power 129 by 5
- 20:26now it is easy to convert the numbers
- 20:28because just now we have learned 2 power
- 20:304 is what
- 20:3116 nearby multiples got it two power
- 20:34four so divide completely by four
- 20:36so four threes are twelve so four twos
- 20:39are eight
- 20:40so reminder will be one so this can be
- 20:42written as thirty two
- 20:43got it reminder one can be written as
- 20:45two power one by five
- 20:46that's it now it is easy or not how i
- 20:48wrote this initially
- 20:50i have found the reminder for 7 by 5
- 20:52that is 2
- 20:53so 2 power 129 by 5 just now we have
- 20:57learnt
- 20:57we have to check the 5 multiples 5 3's
- 21:00are 15
- 21:01so we can write the numerator 2 power 4
- 21:03as 16
- 21:04so 2 power 4 right divide 129 by 4
- 21:08so it is 32 reminder 1 i am writing as 2
- 21:11power 1
- 21:12if we got reminder 2 2 power 2 if we got
- 21:14reminder 9 2 power 9
- 21:16got it or not right so now we can say 2
- 21:19power 4 is what 16
- 21:20so 16 power 32 into 2
- 21:24divided by 5 so now cancel it 1 5's are
- 21:275 how many table how many times
- 21:295 3 is a 15 reminder is what 1
- 21:321 power 32 is always 1 so the complete
- 21:35for this number the
- 21:37reminder will be 1 so this can written
- 21:39as so finally we have only number 2
- 21:42so this will be the reminder because the
- 21:44number 2 is
- 21:45low when compared to the divisor so we
- 21:47can say that 2 will be the reminder
- 21:49how easy it is first question alone
- 21:52previous question alone it will be
- 21:53little bit difficult
- 21:54but see how easily we have solved this
- 21:56question so only
- 21:57important area is this area got it and
- 22:00then you have to understood this concept
- 22:02you have to understand this concept
- 22:03right
- 22:04just see here 16 power 32 we can cancel
- 22:07it 5
- 22:083s are 15 so what about the reminder
- 22:10will be 1 is the reminder
- 22:121 power 32 so 1 power anything will
- 22:14always be 1
- 22:15so 1 into 2 will be 2 you don't want to
- 22:17divide by 5
- 22:18why because we got a reminder which is
- 22:20low very less number
- 22:22when compared to the divisor so
- 22:23definitely 2 will be the reminder
- 22:26for question number eight question
- 22:28number nine
- 22:29so question number nine is 517
- 22:32power 517 divided by five
- 22:36just see here by seeing the question
- 22:37again this is
- 22:39according to me it's very small question
- 22:40the exams they usually ask 517 power 517
- 22:44into 2300 etc so by seeing the question
- 22:48do not decide it is difficult
- 22:49it is always easy if you know the logic
- 22:52what is the first step you have to do
- 22:54you have to divide this individual
- 22:56number 5 17
- 22:57alone by 5 let me divide this 1 5s are 5
- 23:01right 0 phi 3s are 15. what about the
- 23:05reminder that we have is 2.
- 23:06so totally we got a reminder that is 2
- 23:105 17 by 5 understood or not how i wrote
- 23:13this
- 23:14i am just dividing this individual
- 23:16number 5 17 by 5
- 23:18if i divide 5 17 by 5 we got a reminder
- 23:212
- 23:22so this complete number we can write
- 23:24this as 2 power 5
- 23:2517 divided by 5 now just look at the
- 23:29denominator what about the denominator
- 23:30here 5
- 23:31so the numerator is 2 convert in terms
- 23:34of
- 23:345 multiples so you can write this as
- 23:36what 2 power 4 just now i have told you
- 23:392 power 4 is 16 multiplied by multiples
- 23:42of 5 right
- 23:43so divide by 4 so what about the one
- 23:46force of 4
- 23:46right so remaining will be 1 again four
- 23:50twos are eight
- 23:51so remaining will be three that is
- 23:53thirty seven
- 23:55eight fours are nine fours are 36
- 23:58remainder will be one so 129
- 24:00so reminder we got to 1 that is 2 power
- 24:021 by 5 understood or not
- 24:04right i am dividing 5 17 by 4 we got 129
- 24:08and the remainder 1. so i have written
- 24:09129 here
- 24:11and reminder as 2 power 1 quarter so now
- 24:13we know the 2 power 16 2 power 4 is 16
- 24:16when you cancel 5 and 16 remainder will
- 24:19be 1
- 24:19so 1 power 129 always it will be 1 so
- 24:22finally we got 1 into 2 by 5
- 24:25so 1 into 2 will be 2 so 2 will be the
- 24:28reminder quad it or not see how easy it
- 24:30is
- 24:30the question looks little bit uh by by
- 24:33seeing the question we
- 24:34we feel that it's difficult but just see
- 24:36here how easy it is
- 24:38it comes only in practice right so
- 24:40answer for question number nine where
- 24:42the reminder is two
- 24:44so last 10th question so what is the
- 24:47reminder
- 24:47when 2 2 4 3 power 165 2 2 4
- 24:513 power 165 is divided by 4 usually in
- 24:55the exams they will ask
- 24:56question like this so we need to write
- 24:58like this and then we have to find the
- 24:59reminder
- 25:00just see here 2 2 4 3 power 165
- 25:03divided by 5 so our target is to find
- 25:06what is the reminder
- 25:07so what what is the first step you need
- 25:09to do you have to divide this individual
- 25:11number alone by five
- 25:13let me divide this five fours are what
- 25:1520 so reminder is 24
- 25:18again five fours are 20 reminder is 443
- 25:21eight fives are 40 remainder will be 3
- 25:24so this can be written as 3 power 165
- 25:27divided by got it or not and all the
- 25:29previous question we got the reminder
- 25:31two but in this question we got a
- 25:33reminder three don't worry about it
- 25:34sometimes you will get
- 25:35a reminder four or reminder eight
- 25:37whatever be
- 25:38you have to write reminder three power
- 25:40one 165 the next
- 25:42step just listen here just now i have
- 25:44told you right you need to check the
- 25:46nearby multiples of 5 only then you can
- 25:49convert the number just here
- 25:51what is 3 power 1 3 power 1 is 3 3
- 25:54square
- 25:55is what 9 got it it's not nearer to the
- 25:57multiples of 5
- 25:59got it so 3 part 3 is 27 again not the
- 26:02nearby multiples
- 26:043 power 4 is what 81 yes or no
- 26:073 power 4 is 81 got it
- 26:10which is a nearby multiples of 5 because
- 26:1316 into 5 will be 80 so here you can see
- 26:163 power 4 is 81 so we can take 3 power 4
- 26:20so now i am going to convert this as 3
- 26:22power 4
- 26:24so divide this by 4 if you divide by 4
- 26:26it is 41
- 26:27so reminder will be 1 so 3 power 1 by 5
- 26:30got it or not how i wrote this
- 26:32so 3 power 4 if you divide 165 by 4 we
- 26:36got 41 and reminder 1
- 26:38i have written 41 here and the remainder
- 26:401 year so now we need to divide by 5
- 26:42just listen here 3 power 4 is what 81
- 26:45yes or no
- 26:46so 81 power 41 into 3
- 26:50divided by 5 so if you cancel 81 by 5
- 26:54right 16 5s are 80. so reminder is 1
- 26:581 power 41 anything just now i have told
- 27:01you one power
- 27:02any number will be always one so for
- 27:04this complete number the remainder will
- 27:06be 1
- 27:07so 1 into 3 will be 3. so finally answer
- 27:10for this question where the reminder is
- 27:123
- 27:13just see every question have a certain
- 27:15logics
- 27:16if you use that logic solving a question
- 27:19is easy
- 27:20i have told you the logic first unit
- 27:21what you need to do you have to divide
- 27:23the individual number by the divisor
- 27:26right either not every time it won't be
- 27:28five sometimes it won't be six
- 27:30or seven or eight whatever b but you
- 27:32have to divide by that number and you
- 27:34need to find the reminder
- 27:36after finding the reminder you have to
- 27:38check the nearby multiples of the
- 27:40divisor
- 27:41so here i have taken 3 power 4 why
- 27:43because 3 power 4 is 81
- 27:45where 16 into 5 is 80 so 80 81 is a
- 27:48nearer number
- 27:49so i have taken 3 power 4 divided by 4
- 27:5241 and reminder 1
- 27:54so just now i have told you 3 power 4 is
- 27:5681 if you divide 81 by 5 reminder will
- 27:59be 1
- 27:591 power any number will always be 1. so
- 28:02for this complete number the reminder is
- 28:041
- 28:05and the remaining number that we have is
- 28:063 power 1 is 3 so finally we can say
- 28:09that the reminder is 3
- 28:11so hence that's it about this video so
- 28:13again i just want to say one thing
- 28:15listen here it requires a lot a lot of
- 28:18practice
- 28:19just by watching this video you can't
- 28:21able to solve the question in the exams
- 28:23you have to take your books after
- 28:25watching video after understanding the
- 28:27concepts
- 28:28take your books or search in a google
- 28:30you will get more than 100 200 questions
- 28:33try to solve all the questions right so
- 28:36some students will
- 28:37solve in a minus terms for example they
- 28:39usually write like this minus 3 per 4
- 28:42right in most of the foreign other books
- 28:44or a local author books you can able to
- 28:46see
- 28:46my they usually convert in some numbers
- 28:48they convert in terms of
- 28:50minus it is not required right either
- 28:53you
- 28:54convert into minus you are going to get
- 28:55the same answer if you convert into a
- 28:57positive value you are going to say
- 28:59get the same answer always try to learn
- 29:01any one method right don't learn both
- 29:03the methods
- 29:04both the methods will be confusing
- 29:05that's the reason i have converted all
- 29:07the numbers in terms of positive value
- 29:09right
- 29:10got it so just some students will ask me
- 29:13this doubt
- 29:14some books they have written in terms of
- 29:16minus so don't get confused
- 29:18all the questions use the same logic you
- 29:20will surely get the answer
- 29:22so thank you so much for watching this
- 29:24video so if you really like it
- 29:26share the video to your friends those
- 29:27are preparing for the competitive exams
- 29:30so thank you so much for watching it bye
