  1. 0:01Three things I will talk in my speech.
  2. 0:02Number one is on the rebuttal why
  3. 0:04opposition civilizations was wrong.
  4. 0:06Secondly, on the rebuttal why opposition
  5. 0:08establishment of better law was wrong.
  6. 0:10But thirdly, on the extension on how
  7. 0:11individual can lead to more balance and
  8. 0:13peaceful environmental condition on our
  9. 0:15side of the house. But firstly, on the
  10. 0:16rebuttal on the civilization side. I
  11. 0:18think what they aim to be civilization
  12. 0:20is something that is principally wrong
  13. 0:22because what we have to understand the
  14. 0:24background historically, civilization
  15. 0:26happened through lots of tragedies that
  16. 0:27exist. After post neolithic
  17. 0:30during post neolithic revolution even
  18. 0:32until right now, billions of war exist
  19. 0:35everywhere and we have seen tragic death
  20. 0:37of trillions of people who's not
  21. 0:39supposed to die but should suffer just
  22. 0:41because of the one people command. Why
  23. 0:43this is problematic? A, they have to
  24. 0:45actually only explanation that come from
  25. 0:47their side about how community shape
  26. 0:49because people opposition framing is
  27. 0:50only about because they need protection.
  28. 0:52We think this war exactly exists because
  29. 0:53on the sharing of the different
  30. 0:55interest. When you have fun, others
  31. 0:57don't share the same interest, you hate
  32. 0:59them and hate to accept different
  33. 1:00opinions on them and the only resolution
  34. 1:02to finish it is to start conflict
  35. 1:04because discussion musyawarah mufakat
  36. 1:06does not exactly work and this is likely
  37. 1:08since human with each of their ego to
  38. 1:10want to maintain their communal
  39. 1:11interest, want to show their pride when
  40. 1:13the other one lose on the debate or lose
  41. 1:15life when their interest is exactly
  42. 1:17folded. But B, I think there is lack of
  43. 1:19definition of what is morally right and
  44. 1:21what is morally wrong even until after
  45. 1:23post neolithic revolution because there
  46. 1:25will always be a problematic actor who's
  47. 1:27not standing on peace but standing on
  48. 1:29the evil side which is authoritarianism.
  49. 1:31They brought development but by lots of
  50. 1:33sacrificing of accusing people aligned
  51. 1:35with different ideologies and
  52. 1:37importantly when they have seen a
  53. 1:38different skin race and ethnicities,
  54. 1:40they will attempt to eliminate as what
  55. 1:42exactly happened to Hutu and Tutsi
  56. 1:43conflict when there is lots of
  57. 1:45sacrificing of Tutsis who don't even
  58. 1:46have a weapon. This is what human don't
  59. 1:48want like because they actually put a
  60. 1:50life on sacrificing other people. Humans
  61. 1:52don't want the ultimate value of this
  62. 1:54actor when they only saw their families
  63. 1:55got beaten. When there is lots of
  64. 1:57campaign saying world peace, but there
  65. 1:59is less a resolution. Therefore, the
  66. 2:01trade-off is even if opposition said
  67. 2:03they will achieve civilization when
  68. 2:04human become much more established, they
  69. 2:06achieve it by sacrilegation. But
  70. 2:07moreover, they failed to maintain even
  71. 2:10if peace can happen, they failed to
  72. 2:11maintain the peace right now. Because
  73. 2:13look, it is still untouched. Status quo,
  74. 2:15United Nations, lots of sanction already
  75. 2:17exist, but still lots of terrorists
  76. 2:19exist out there to terrorize people.
  77. 2:21Superpower nations like Russia continues
  78. 2:23to invade Ukraine in comparison to our
  79. 2:25side. Human before this era don't
  80. 2:27understand what war is, what better
  81. 2:29interest life is. What they do is
  82. 2:30following their natural instinct and
  83. 2:32communal interest to maintain their
  84. 2:33species to not exist. They understand
  85. 2:36more about the fulfillment of life, that
  86. 2:38is survival and protecting each other,
  87. 2:40serving your children to how to survive
  88. 2:42and grow based on their life. When the
  89. 2:43right now, the violations is much more
  90. 2:46um radical and pragmatic. The second you
  91. 2:48on the idea that how opposition says
  92. 2:50after post this era, they will have
  93. 2:51better society because of this
  94. 2:53establishment of law. I think there is a
  95. 2:54certain problem to begin with. Number
  96. 2:56one, is that law is actually principally
  97. 2:58written and that is actually very
  98. 2:59perfect, but the execution executions of
  99. 3:02law is so much imperfect. There is
  100. 3:04tendency of people to violate the law
  101. 3:06just because they want to satisfy their
  102. 3:08interest. For example, because they felt
  103. 3:09it is actually going to benefited them
  104. 3:11when they corrupt and they can fight the
  105. 3:12entire family of it even if they
  106. 3:14sacrifices the
  107. 3:16fund to actually being allocated to the
  108. 3:18disaster victim. This is something that
  109. 3:20is very justified, right? Because there
  110. 3:21is also gap to actually understand this
  111. 3:23type of thing. But B, tragically, law is
  112. 3:26actually very unfair, right? Because it
  113. 3:27depends on the nation who you live in,
  114. 3:29the community who you live in. You
  115. 3:31cannot generalize that law to serving
  116. 3:32human is actually acceptable in every
  117. 3:34type of the world because there is
  118. 3:36prerequisite. For example, in Iran right
  119. 3:38now, they can simply kill you just
  120. 3:39because you are a supporting family's
  121. 3:41movement or in Afghanistan, you can be
  122. 3:43you can be killed just because you are
  123. 3:44as you are a woman and you try to seek
  124. 3:47for a better education. Law is something
  125. 3:49that is very unstable, especially there
  126. 3:51is different characterization of it. In
  127. 3:53comparison, when human don't understand
  128. 3:55to even establish before it, they don't
  129. 3:57have capacity to understand which gap of
  130. 3:59law to actually we can simply violate
  131. 4:01right now. Because human right now, even
  132. 4:03if they can settle out, they can use law
  133. 4:04to actually manipulate other thing,
  134. 4:06which is to hide their morally bad
  135. 4:08action. They only know which is right
  136. 4:10and wrong. People within Neolithic
  137. 4:12revolution does not know it, right? They
  138. 4:13actually just know how to live when they
  139. 4:15are surviving. For example, even if
  140. 4:17there is rule before, like man and
  141. 4:18woman, they just going to actually men
  142. 4:20going to um hunting, and woman can
  143. 4:23simply like growing the child with love.
  144. 4:25That is something that is principally
  145. 4:26just exist in Neolithic revolution. But
  146. 4:29moving on to the extension on how
  147. 4:30individual can adapt to more balanced
  148. 4:31and peaceful environmental condition.
  149. 4:33What does human run right now? They are
  150. 4:35contributing directly to climate change.
  151. 4:37They run such a massive
  152. 4:38commercialization of industries, and
  153. 4:40therefore destroy the harmony within it.
  154. 4:42The problem is when they try to build
  155. 4:44those thing, they want to exploit the
  156. 4:45environment just to ensure that they
  157. 4:46will maximize this lots of incentive and
  158. 4:48benefit and money. But it is
  159. 4:50problematic, because they improve this
  160. 4:52by making environmentally damage. They
  161. 4:54left other creatures should move their
  162. 4:56home and basic place this creatures
  163. 4:57should get actually only available to
  164. 4:59this creatures. They killed other
  165. 5:01creatures just because they felt like
  166. 5:03this is actually they are the special
  167. 5:04creatures, they are the image of God
  168. 5:06itself. But secondly, even if right now
  169. 5:08human are also attempt to stop those
  170. 5:10thing. Exactly, we have Kyoto Protocol,
  171. 5:12Paris Agreement to show that they can
  172. 5:14run out from this problem by agreement.
  173. 5:15But agreement cannot exactly work,
  174. 5:17because there is still the one who is
  175. 5:19evil and dangerous out there. There is
  176. 5:21violations of rules, the conscription of
  177. 5:23each nation to actually sign this.
  178. 5:25Humans are actually very inconsistent
  179. 5:27within this rule. Government never
  180. 5:28realize Opposition never realizes that
  181. 5:30human are inconsistencies when they
  182. 5:32actually felt like
  183. 5:33it is benefited for them that they can
  184. 5:35actually follow the rules. But if it is
  185. 5:37not benefited, they can actually violate
  186. 5:38the rule even if it actually sac- means
  187. 5:40by sacrificing other people's life. But
  188. 5:42thirdly, it is likely to happen, since
  189. 5:44human is the solely and the only one who
  190. 5:46is smart right now within this planet
  191. 5:47right now with this massive
  192. 5:49civilization. They are the only one
  193. 5:50who's smart to operate all these
  194. 5:51incentive and there are imbalances of
  195. 5:53power between any living creatures who
  196. 5:55live in this world. Understand right now
  197. 5:57that in comparison the pre-neolithic
  198. 5:59lives with all creators living within
  199. 6:01their own communities just based on
  200. 6:02themselves and based on what the
  201. 6:03classification of what their genes looks
  202. 6:05like, they are only all humans and even
  203. 6:08animal was classified as an animal. They
  204. 6:10live in a perfect symbiosis with the
  205. 6:12other one and live with the
  206. 6:13survivability from not exploiting the
  207. 6:15environment. They only kill one bear,
  208. 6:18only kill one bear to feed the entire
  209. 6:19families in comparison to what
  210. 6:21government exactly frame to do is that
  211. 6:23they built a massive agricultural and
  212. 6:25farming land and produce massive stock
  213. 6:27life just to being killed and eat and
  214. 6:29they repeat the same cycles again and
  215. 6:30again. Why this is actually better in
  216. 6:32our side of the house? Number one is
  217. 6:33that they don't exploiting the
  218. 6:35environment overly, over use these types
  219. 6:37of thing because they live on their hunt
  220. 6:39and equal with what they should consume
  221. 6:41because what they
  222. 6:43uh get on the hunt exactly what is that
  223. 6:45they can actually
  224. 6:47get. That being said, they understand
  225. 6:48the meaningful of the life more because
  226. 6:50they respect how they nature work
  227. 6:52because you know to restore the entire
  228. 6:54environment there need a time of period
  229. 6:56when human can actually live. In
  230. 6:57comparison to right now when they want
  231. 6:58to restore, the damage is already there
  232. 7:00because there is a massive corruption of
  233. 7:02the environment right now. But secondly,
  234. 7:04on the principle of utilitarianism, even
  235. 7:06if there is threat of predators like
  236. 7:07lion, they protect each other from those
  237. 7:09attack. There is morally justified
  238. 7:11because that is the real law. After
  239. 7:12neolithic revolution, one, human lives
  240. 7:15with their communities but it is divided
  241. 7:16to
  242. 7:17until right now with different ideas and
  243. 7:19different belief. They hurt each other
  244. 7:21through war and don't even care even if
  245. 7:22they kill human, they have justification
  246. 7:24of it just because they said that this
  247. 7:25human was actually very unfair to me.
  248. 7:27They kill people, they take the lives of
  249. 7:29the people that actually uh become the
  250. 7:31contributor for the entire family. But
  251. 7:32B, even if human develop better system
  252. 7:34as what they characterize in law to
  253. 7:36comparison, we have law of jungle system
  254. 7:38hukum rimba. The problem is on how they
  255. 7:40get the sanction because the
  256. 7:41implementation was broken. They punish
  257. 7:44people without a bargaining power, but
  258. 7:45they give generosity to people in power
  259. 7:48even if these people are wrong morally.
  260. 7:50This is important because without these
  261. 7:52presents, human was folder in tears just
  262. 7:54to see that they have been treated
  263. 7:56unfairly by the by this broken system
  264. 7:58and they can see that all the
  265. 8:00environment was better on them. The
  266. 8:01trade off is one based on the law. We
  267. 8:03have proven why the establishment of law
  268. 8:05is better on our side. Secondly, on the
  269. 8:07civilization, we have proven that why
  270. 8:08opposition civilization was achieved
  271. 8:10through a better thing. But thirdly, on
  272. 8:12comparison, we think we already proven
  273. 8:13the counterfactual why then life
  274. 8:16pre-neolithic was already good. For that
  275. 8:18reason, we declare we win this debate.
