  3. 0:04the Sam bankman freed and were you
  4. 0:06shocked at what happened there you know
  5. 0:08yes and I spent a lot of time with Sam I
  6. 0:11didn't invest with them I always thought
  7. 0:13their valuation was too high but he was
  8. 0:16kind he was always helpful to me we lost
  9. 0:18money we we didn't invest with them but
  10. 0:21we used them as an exchange and people
  11. 0:23asked me well if you didn't invest you
  12. 0:25were a little leery I was like I just
  13. 0:26never assumed I'm dealing with a
  14. 0:29sociopath it's hard to risk manage
  15. 0:32against that but do you think that
  16. 0:33really hurt the industry for some time
  17. 0:35it certainly did and it wasn't just Sam
  18. 0:38right we had Celsius Alex machinski
  19. 0:40who's now been arrested uh there are
  20. 0:43four or five three arrows capital of
  21. 0:45either guys that started off as frauds
  22. 0:48or that as the heat got turned on made
  23. 0:52really really bad risk
