0:06We are in a season of innovation and
0:08breakthrough. The playing field has
0:10definitely been leveled for everyone.
0:13It is important for us to pay attention
0:15to the ideas that come from God.
0:17Ideas start as a simple spark of
0:20inspiration that only belongs to those
0:22who pay attention to them. Set your
0:25intention to put action to the ideas
0:28that God has given you. Set your
0:30attention to rise up as an innovator, a
0:33new species of believers. Set your
0:36intention to capture the thoughts and
0:39allow heaven and earth to conspire to
0:41bring those necessary resources to you.
0:44Whatever you intend to do, know that
0:47heaven will get involved, which will
0:50make you unstoppable and bring you into
0:53the realm of next level thinking. So,
0:57let's begin.
1:05Welcome to the second installment on our
1:08topic that we're treating the power of
1:11intentionality.
1:14In this season, um I believe it's a
1:17period of great innovation, great
1:20breakthroughs. We're in industry 4.0.
1:23And as you're aware, all of the industry
1:25started with someone that had a new
1:28idea.
1:29In industry 4.0,
1:32um I believe that you're going to see so
1:35many people giving breakthrough ideas
1:38and they're going to be
1:39industry-specific ideas. From from nano
1:42tech to bio tech, we're going to see
1:46smart homes becoming like a thing of the
1:48past. The next generation of children
1:51that will be born in the earth realm, um
1:54they will be born into a world that it's
1:59um run by RV and AI and um
2:04you know, we'll be living in virtual
2:07realities and we would have to
2:09decompress in a decompression chambers
2:13and pods to disconnect from a
2:16hyperconnected world. We know that we
2:19have IoT, the Internet of Things.
2:22Everything will be talking to one
2:24another. It's almost like living in Star
2:26Trek. It's kind of like a Star Trek
2:29generation and this is going to be
2:31normal. And I believe that when we begin
2:34to read scripture, we begin to
2:36understand how incredible the mind is.
2:40And for those of you that want to start
2:43businesses or you have ideas that maybe
2:47you'll be maybe able to see a
2:49industry-specific breakthrough, but you
2:51question whether or not the someone
2:54would actually buy into it or buy from
2:58you as you create these great
3:01innovations.
3:03Um if it
3:04these thoughts have been sparked by God,
3:07then nothing is going to be impossible.
3:09And so I'm believing that out of um our
3:12kingdom, the kingdom of light, we will
3:15see a rise of um innovators, individuals
3:19that are used like God used those uh
3:23great um biblical figure figures and and
3:27personalities that we've come to love
3:30and come to admire. And I believe that
3:33this generation is going to see a new
3:36species of believers that are going to
3:38be um industry leaders and legislators.
3:42These individuals are going to be used
3:44by God to push humanity forward, to
3:46extend his kingdom, and bring solution
3:49to world problems. Let's turn with me to
3:52the book of Genesis chapter 11:1-9.
3:54The scripture says, "The whole earth was
3:56one language and of one speech. And it
3:59came to pass as they journeyed from the
4:01east that they found a plain in the land
4:03of Shinar. And they dwelt there. And
4:07they said one to another, 'Go to, let us
4:09make brick and burn them thoroughly. And
4:12they had brick for stone and slime they
4:14had for mortar. And they said, 'Go to,
4:17let us build us a city and a tower whose
4:20top may reach unto heaven. And let us
4:22make a name
4:24and lest we be scattered abroad upon the
4:27face of the earth.' And the Lord came
4:29down to see the city and the tower which
4:31the children of man builded. And the
4:33Lord said, 'Behold, the people is one
4:36and they have all one language and this
4:38they began to do. Now nothing will be
4:40restrained from them which they had
4:42imagined to do.' In other words, you
4:44know, their innovative ideas that they
4:47took serious was going to spark this
4:50entire movement of resourcefulness
4:52and innovation. So, there are many
4:55levels of revelation in this text.
4:57Number one, they came together and drew
4:59through unity, they found this plain in
5:02the land of Shinar.
5:04And this is um a zip code that they
5:08landed in and it was a plain. A plain is
5:11a level plot of land. And we are in a
5:15post-pandemic world. This is the world
5:19that had changed and we are now in a new
5:22normal. And I want to encourage you that
5:25this world in which we are living in,
5:28the playing field has been leveled. It's
5:30been leveled for every individual,
5:32leveled for every industry, every
5:34profession, every government, every
5:36nation. We are living on a level playing
5:41field. The rules are changing and you
5:43could be one of the ones that are
5:45dictating the rules as long as you
5:48understand that nothing is off-limit.
5:51Before, you had to be qualified with
5:53this and qualified for that. You had to
5:56be network part of um an existing
5:59organization. You had to be recognized
6:02by by um someone before you were able to
6:05climb the prophetic or the proverbial
6:08ladder of success. But now, I mean, we
6:11are literally on a level playing field.
6:16Anybody can win. Anybody can succeed.
6:20Anybody can prosper. And it's as simple
6:23as that. That's number one, that plain.
6:26They were on a level playing field.
6:27Number two, the
6:29they thought that an idea could be
6:32possible.
6:34And because they believed that that idea
6:36was possible, it sparked action.
6:40And intentionality is always the
6:43precursor to activity. And this is very
6:46important for us to understand it. They
6:48had this idea, it sparked their action,
6:51and then intentionality brought it to
6:54pass. The Bible said in this they began
6:57to do. Now nothing will be restrained
6:59from them which they have imagined to
7:02do. So, intentionality
7:04is the precursor to resourcefulness. I
7:06think that a lot of people are praying
7:08and praying and praying without the
7:10intention to seeing an act or something
7:14come to pass. A lot of people have a
7:16plan A or plan B. If this doesn't work,
7:19then I'm going to do that. If that
7:20doesn't work, then I'm going to do the
7:22other. But you don't see levels of
7:24commitment and I believe that people
7:26give up too soon. They give up too soon
7:28on their ideas, their dreams, their
7:30vision, their business. When something
7:33goes wrong, they have this plan B. But I
7:36believe that in this season, um there's
7:39going to be a new species that are going
7:40to rise and they're going to have these
7:42God ideas that are going to fill their
7:45mind. And because they have the
7:47intention of bringing that to pass,
7:50you're going to see new levels of
7:51resourcefulness.
7:53Number four, intentionality is the
7:55precursor to innovation. They said, um
7:58you know, "Go to, let us make brick."
8:01Well, there was no mention of brick in
8:02the Bible before they said, "Let's make
8:04brick." What's a brick? I don't know
8:05what's a brick. And they put their
8:07thoughts together, created a mastermind,
8:10and they decided that we're going to
8:11turn brick They they they they took the
8:13mortar, they took the slime, and then
8:16they they they were they invented an
8:19industry, basically, because there was
8:21no burning of mortar and slime before
8:24this. And the Bible said they had brick
8:26for stone and mortar had they
8:29they and slime had they for mortar. So,
8:32they invented this industry of creating
8:35bricks and they put their thoughts
8:38together
8:39and they had this breakthrough idea.
8:41Here's the the caveat that all the trade
8:44secrets that you see, all the
8:46innovations, all the original ideas, all
8:48the industry-specific breakthroughs
8:51um are sparks of
8:53inspiration that is received by the mind
8:56that someone takes serious.
8:59And they Bible said that they came
9:01together, they began to um
9:04build this city, and then in the middle
9:07of the city they had this tower. They
9:09wanted to make a name for themselves.
9:11This is the whole idea of branding. And
9:14branding is not a new concept, but they
9:18started to brand themselves. Let's make
9:19a name for ourselves. And this was not
9:23only so that they can influence
9:26uh their generation, but future
9:28generations would speak about them. In
9:30other words, time would not be permitted
9:33to erase their name out of history. And
9:37in this season, this is a season of
9:39innovation, a season of breakthrough
9:41that we are in. And this is not just for
9:45those that we know that have have
9:47businesses, those enduring brands that
9:50we know about,
9:51but I believe that God is raising up
9:53individuals that in this generation,
9:55they'll live as an individual and
9:56they're going to die as an institution.
9:59And your work is going to be observed by
10:02future generations, and time is going to
10:05be kind to you because it's going to
10:07write your name down in history. So,
10:09these group of individuals became
10:11history makers, and they shaped history.
10:14They didn't just prophesy history, they
10:17provoked it. They created it. They
10:20designed it. And a lot of times we are
10:23waiting for our destiny to come to us.
10:27When in fact, we are designing our
10:29destiny one thought at a time, one
10:32action at a time, one breath at a time,
10:35proverbially speaking. So, all trade
10:38secrets,
10:40all innovations, all original ideas and
10:42industries specific breakthroughs, they
10:45start as a spark of inspiration that's
10:49received by the mind, and someone pays
10:51attention to it. Have you ever thought
10:54about inventing something or writing
10:56something or creating something, and
10:58then you waited, and then before you
11:00know it, you see it advertised on TV.
11:03So, we know that ideas belong to to
11:06whoever is paying attention. And an idea
11:08is not off-limits to anybody. I know
11:11that two or three or five or even
11:13hundreds of people can have the same
11:15idea, but whoever manifests that idea as
11:19a good, a product, or a service, a book,
11:23um uh um uh a television show,
11:26a movie, um a company, a t-shirt,
11:30whoever pays attention to that idea and
11:34takes it seriously, and sees that it's
11:37possible, then that breakthrough, that
11:40product, that good, that service belongs
11:42to that individual. And it's the whole
11:45idea of intellectual property. I think
11:48the most expensive real estate in the
11:51world is the human mind. And a lot of us
11:55take that for granted. And like I said
11:58in the previous teaching, uh that the
12:00mind the mind is an incredible
12:03uh creating machine. And if you put the
12:06mind to work, the mind is able to create
12:09the most incredible things. But a lot of
12:12us do not put our minds to work. We do
12:16not engage our mind. We're the product
12:18of classical conditioning or um cultural
12:21conditioning. And uh and and not knowing
12:24that the moment you set your intentions,
12:27num- number one to pay attention to your
12:30thoughts and ideas, but also to capture
12:32them, and especially those that have
12:35been sparked by the Holy Spirit, um all
12:39you have to do is put action to it. And
12:42a lot of us, we sit on these great
12:44ideas, and then someone else um
12:47uh puts the energy in, and then creates
12:50a product or a good or a service out of
12:52there, and then they're generating
12:54hundreds of thousands of dollars,
12:55millions of dollars, and billions of
12:57dollars, if only we had acted. And we
13:01act when we have an intention to do
13:05something. Thoughts are things, and this
13:08is important that capture two realms. It
13:12captures the attention of heaven and the
13:16attention of earth. And I want to go
13:18back
13:19into a scripture in verse number three.
13:21It says, "Let us make brick
13:23and burn them thoroughly, and they had
13:26brick for stone, and slime they had for
13:27mortar." So, it captured the attention
13:30of earth. And they said, "Go to, let us
13:33build us a city, a tower whose top may
13:35reach the heaven, and let us make us a
13:37name, lest we be scattered abroad upon
13:40the face of the whole earth." Watch
13:42this. "And the Lord came down to see the
13:44city and the tower." So, intentionality
13:49and thoughts captures the attention of
13:52both heaven and earth. This is
13:54important. God is watching, but people
13:57are watching, too.
13:59And the Bible says that God makes this
14:01comment.
14:02And his comment goes something like
14:04this.
14:05"And this they began to do. Now, nothing
14:09will be restrained for them which they
14:11have imagined to do." Absolutely nothing
14:13is going to be restrained. Nothing is
14:15going to be held back. And this is
14:17important. Intentionality
14:21causes heaven and earth to conspire to
14:24bring you the resources necessary for
14:27you to bring an idea to pass, to bring
14:31it from conceptualization
14:32to actualization.
14:35Um a lot of times, going back to my
14:37example, people have plan A and a plan B
14:39and a plan C. And it's sending mixed
14:42signals out in the realm of the spirit.
14:45The Bible talks about us having faith,
14:47and faith allows you to think and act on
14:51a different kind of frequency. You're
14:54picking up the frequency of innovation.
14:57You're tapping you're able to tap into
14:58the mind of of God. And the Bible said,
15:02"Nothing is going to be restrained from
15:04them which they have begun to do." That
15:06word restrain. In other words, nothing
15:08is going to be held back or held up. And
15:12I'm decreeing and declaring that in this
15:13season, whatever God has called you to
15:16do, whatever he has commissioned you to
15:18do, whether it's writing or building or
15:21dancing or acting, whether it's serving,
15:24whether it is um bringing breakthrough
15:27industry-specific ideas to the table,
15:30whether it's going into politics,
15:33whether it is um
15:35uh uh preaching or singing, whatever God
15:38has commissioned you to do, whatever
15:40ideas that are divine that belong um to
15:44this generation, I'm decreeing and
15:46declaring every resource necessary for
15:49you to fulfill it, for you to bring it
15:51to pass, is going to be released, and
15:54you're going to be able to see it. Now,
15:56the resources that God wants to give you
15:59will be in the form of relationships
16:01that you need, information that you
16:03need,
16:04opportunity that you need, finances that
16:07you need. Whatever the resources are,
16:10nothing will be restrained from you.
16:12There's nothing that's going to be held
16:14back and held up. And I'm decreeing and
16:17declaring that you are taking your
16:19thoughts seriously. God is visiting you
16:21in dreams. You're sitting, you're
16:23daydreaming. You have a prompting. God
16:26has revealed it to you. He has given you
16:29a prophetic word. You've been thinking
16:31about it. You've been obsessing over it.
16:34It may be God trying to get your
16:36attention to tell you that there is
16:39nothing that's going to be restrained
16:41from you. And whatever he has placed in
16:44your spirit and your heart, whatever
16:46ideas that you have, no matter how lofty
16:50they may seem, no matter how improbable
16:52they may seem, with God improbable they
16:55may seem, with God all things are
16:57possible. The earth never had brick,
17:00never had mortar, never never built a
17:03monument up to the sky. These were
17:05skyscrapers
17:07before there were cranes, before there
17:09was modern technology, before there were
17:12bulldozers. And they they they said,
17:15"This is what we want to do. This is
17:17what we intend to do." And that's what
17:20they did. And the Bible said they used
17:22the faculty of their imagination. When
17:25there is an innovation, the faculty of
17:29of imagination has always been
17:33activated. And I'm decreeing and
17:35declaring you will no longer sit with
17:37your minds idle. I decree God is filling
17:40your mind with the most incredible
17:43breakthrough ideas. And those are the
17:46ideas that you are taking seriously.
17:48Intentions
17:50activate resourcefulness. So, you're
17:53going to be resourceful. You're going to
17:55find a way to make it happen. There are
17:57some people that say, "I can't do it
17:59because I don't have money. I can't do
18:01it because I don't have education. I
18:02can't do it because nobody would help
18:04me." Those are just excuses. When have
18:07you have the intention to do something,
18:10heaven obligates itself to provide the
18:14resources, providing those ideas and
18:17those thoughts come from God.
18:19Number eight. The futures
18:22that we dream of are not ahead of us,
18:25they are inside of us. The Bible says
18:28that we he he puts eternity in our
18:30heart. And the biggest question is,
18:33where does your future come from? It
18:35comes from inside of you. They come as a
18:37result of your thoughts. They come as a
18:39result of your intention. They come as a
18:42result of your habits. They come as a
18:45result of your beliefs. They come as a
18:47result of your thoughts. Your future
18:50comes to you one thought at a time, one
18:52habit at a time, one action at a time,
18:55one prompting at a time, one dream at a
18:57time. That's where your future comes
18:59from. And in this new normal, I am I I
19:03am I am encouraging you to continue to
19:07to continue to say that with God all
19:10things are possible. Whenever God has
19:14has begins to speak to you, and whatever
19:17God has placed in your mind and in your
19:20heart, you have to set your attention to
19:24doing it, to becoming it, simply because
19:28if it came from God, no matter how
19:31improbable, it is still possible. And
19:34I'm going to say it again. If your
19:36dreams, your vision, the things that you
19:38have in your heart, your desire, came
19:40from God, no matter how improbable it
19:44seems,
19:45it is still possible. Because with God
19:48all things are possible. And so, when
19:50you set your attention, intention
19:53is the secret sauce that levels the
19:56playing field of success. Success comes
20:00when you are consistently
20:02acting in accordance with a vision, a
20:04dream, or a goal, or a desire. You have
20:07something that you want and you act in
20:10accordance with it. It's like going on a
20:12diet and saying, "Oh,
20:14um I I want to lose weight." And you're
20:16size 14 and you want to be a size eight,
20:19but all of your activities, you are
20:21eating like you're a size 16 person.
20:25You're eating a size 16 calorie,
20:27although you're you're size 14 and you
20:30say that, "Oh, I want to be a size
20:32eight." But yet your actions, your
20:34eating, your caloric intake is at the
20:37level of a size 16. So, and no matter
20:40how much you convince yourself, "Oh, I'm
20:43going to be a size eight in 6 months." 6
20:45months from now, guess what size you
20:47will be. Not a 14, but but a 16. Why?
20:51Because your action is in accordance
20:54with
20:56an outcome
20:57that you do not want, but your actions
21:02are not directed towards or in
21:05accordance with what you want. And so a
21:08lot of us play games with our own selves
21:12and we excuse ourselves. And one of the
21:15things that I say to those that I
21:17mentor, when you set your intentions,
21:21you establish clear goals. And those
21:25goals um actually reveal whether you
21:29have personal integrity or not. So, if
21:31you say to yourself, "Oh, my goal is to
21:34save, I don't know, $100 a month." But
21:37yet you spend everything that you earn,
21:40it's an issue of personal integrity. And
21:44we can use all the excuses we want, but
21:47an excuse sabotages
21:50your destiny. It's like shooting your
21:53your destiny at point-blank range. So,
21:57if you want success, success comes with
22:00constantly acting in accordance with a
22:04vision, a desire, an aspiration, a
22:07dream, or a specific result or outcome.
22:11And you act in accordance with that. It
22:14is God that gives you the desire to
22:18desire. And then he gives you that
22:20desire. And so if you have these desires
22:22that God has placed in your heart, you
22:24never really consider whether you have
22:28the skill or the ability or the finances
22:31to do anything. If that came from God,
22:34leave the details to him. Just
22:37continuously act in accordance with your
22:40outcome.
22:42Intentions
22:44are like a catalyst. It's a catalyst
22:47that causes you to put the effort into
22:51making a move towards the attainment of
22:54something that you would aspire to do,
22:57to achieve, to own, to acquire, or to
23:02accomplish. So, that means that you
23:05engage in activities in a conscious
23:08level with the full engagement and with
23:11the full knowledge that it's going to
23:13take lit
23:14risk. And there you know, you're going
23:17to have to have in a lot of instances um
23:20you're going to have to take a leap of
23:22faith. And even though
23:25there may seem as if
23:28failure is going to be results,
23:32intentions
23:33takes failure on the cheek and say,
23:37"That's just a the price that I pay for
23:40all future success." It's like
23:42interviewing Thomas Edison. You've heard
23:45the story probably hundreds of times
23:47within your lifetime. They were
23:48interviewing him and they said to him,
23:51"You know, weren't weren't you
23:53disappointed
23:54when you failed so many times? You
23:57failed a thousand times and and in
24:00trying to create the lightbulb." He
24:02said, "No, it never I never felt, you
24:04know, discouraged because I discovered a
24:07thousand ways not to create a
24:10lightbulb." And so when you have
24:12intentionality, usually people who are
24:16intentional about what they do also have
24:20a positive mental attitude. They're
24:23positive about their lives and their
24:25their frequency, a mental frequency is
24:29set at the level of positivity.
24:33Intentions
24:34actually cause you to take specific
24:37cour- courses of action based on
24:41um
24:43what you want to see come come come to
24:46pass, no matter how unfeasible
24:49it may seem to be. And so a lot of
24:52people that fail again because they have
24:55a plan B and they never really set their
24:57intention, they never attend intended to
25:00accomplish something, they start out
25:03with, "What if? What if I fail? What if
25:06people don't like it?" But the people
25:08that do succeed says, "Well, what if I
25:11do succeed?" And they build into the
25:14equation of their action a celebration
25:17for the inevitable. And the inevitable
25:21and eventual and eventuality is going to
25:25be the outcome that they desired. That
25:27outcome may take many twists on a
25:31journey that has many twists and turns,
25:34but they ended up they they end up there
25:36anyway. It's like the dreams of Joseph.
25:40And he was able to say to his brother,
25:41"Look, I don't hold any anger towards
25:44you. You meant it for bad, God meant it
25:46for good." Because he set his face
25:50towards
25:51him being in a position of power. And
25:55although again he ended up in many
25:57circumstances that looked like his
26:00dream, his vision wouldn't come to pass,
26:03but yet it did come to pass because
26:05heaven got involved. And whatever you
26:08set your intention to do, heaven is
26:10going to get get involved. Heaven is
26:13going to make sure that your resources
26:16are made available to you. Whatever
26:18resources you need in order to bring
26:20that vision to pass. And it's
26:21interesting because sometimes we do need
26:24a crisis. That crisis sometimes we do
26:27need to be rejected. Sometimes we do
26:29need things to go south because it
26:32exposes
26:34hidden potential. It exposes the hidden
26:37seed of greatness. And that's what
26:39intentionality is all about.
26:41Intentionality never looks at obstacles
26:45and never looks at limitations, never
26:47looks at lack. It means that you are
26:50able to
26:52act in accordance with your dreams, your
26:54visions, your outcome,
26:56but you're also able to defy the odds.
27:00So, intentionality
27:01totally
27:03embraces the whole idea of risk. And
27:06either you're going to risk your past
27:09for your future or with risk your future
27:11for your past, either one or the other.
27:14Intentionality therefore makes your
27:17vision clear, crystal clear. You have
27:20you have clarity in your vision, clarity
27:23in your assignment, you have sharper,
27:25stronger ability to over to overlook
27:31obstacles, and it makes it easy when you
27:34set your mind to do something, then
27:37those things that seem as if they are
27:39insurmountable, whether it's a situation
27:42or circumstance where you whether you
27:44suffer hardship, then in- intentionality
27:48looks at these things and they declare,
27:51"Nothing is going to stop me."
27:53Intentionality makes you unstoppable.
27:57Int- Intentions
27:59takes you into what I call next-level
28:02thinking. One of the things that Albert
28:04Einstein said, he said, "You can never
28:07solve a problem on the level on which it
28:09was created." And I realized that when
28:13we look at our lives and we look at the
28:16different components in our lives, our
28:18finances, we look at our relationships,
28:21we look at our careers and and our
28:23businesses, we look at sometimes the
28:26mess that we've made because of poor
28:29decisions and because of a faulty life
28:31strategy, and then we get upset because
28:35we are in the middle of a problem or we
28:36messed something up. But again, Albert
28:38Einstein said, "You can never solve a
28:41problem on the level on which it was
28:42created." So, I always say, if you're
28:45going to solve the problem of your past,
28:48it's going to take next-level thinking
28:50to get you into your future. You can't
28:53you cannot think at the same level. That
28:55means your thoughts should be different
28:57from last year. Your thoughts should be
28:59different even from this month. And if
29:02you're thinking at the same level,
29:05you're going to be on repeat
29:08concerning your life. At the end of this
29:11year, you're going to have the same
29:12amount of money, the same struggles, the
29:13same problems. And then they at the end
29:16of the next year, same amount of money,
29:18the same problems. And it's never going
29:20to be based on, "Oh, I'm going to get
29:22another job or I'm going to get more
29:25friends." You're just going to repeat it
29:28because your future is coming to you one
29:30thought at a time. Your future comes
29:32from within you. And when you're able to
29:34harness the faculty of intention, I I
29:37tell you, intentions is a faculty of the
29:41mind. And a lot of us don't use that
29:46faculty. Turn with me to Mark chapter 2
29:48verses 1 to 12. The Bible said again he
29:50entered into Capernaum after some days
29:53and it was noised that he was in the
29:56house and straightway many were gathered
29:58together in so much that there was no
30:00room to receive them. No, not so much as
30:03about the door and he preached the word
30:06unto them and they came unto him
30:08bringing one sick of the palsy which had
30:11was born of four. So there he had four
30:13friends that were carrying him and he
30:15was number five. Five is the number of
30:17grace but I'm not talking about grace
30:18right now. But he had friends that were
30:21able to come into agreement with him
30:23that he was going to be healed. When
30:25they got there
30:27there was no room. There were people
30:29standing around the door. The Bible said
30:31in verse number four and when they could
30:32not come nigh unto him for the press
30:35they uncovered the roof where he was
30:37thinking. This is next level thinking.
30:40And when they had broken it up they let
30:42down the bed wherein the sick of the
30:44palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith he
30:47said unto the sick of palsy, "Son, thy
30:49sins be forgiven." But there were
30:51certain of the scribes sitting there and
30:54reasoning in their hearts, "Why does
30:55this man speak blaspheming? Who can
30:58forgive sins but God only?" And
31:00immediately when Jesus perceived in his
31:02spirit that they had so reasoned with
31:05them themselves. Remember we talked
31:07about how thoughts
31:09travel on a frequency and it thoughts
31:12have energy so Jesus is picking up their
31:14energy. Jesus is picking up their
31:16thoughts. He because he he's tracking
31:18them
31:19and you know in the spirit realm and and
31:22the Bible said they they were saying why
31:25Jesus said to them, "Why reason ye these
31:28things in your heart? Whether it's easy
31:30to say to the sick of the palsy, 'Thy
31:32sins be forgiven thee' or say 'Arise and
31:35take up thy thy bed and walk.' But that
31:37ye may know that the son of man hath
31:39power on earth to forgive sins. He saith
31:43to the sick of the palsy, 'I say unto
31:45rise, take up your your bed and go thy
31:47way into thy house.' And immediately he
31:50arose, took up his bed, went forth
31:52before them all. Now watch this. In so
31:55much that they were all amazed and
31:57glorified God saying, "We never saw it
32:00in this fashion before." And that is
32:02going to happen to you. People are going
32:04to look at your life and they're going
32:06to wonder, "How did you get those
32:08results?" And you know something? It
32:10takes a lot of risk. Write this down
32:13that intentionality
32:15moves you into the realm of risk.
32:18Intentional people are risk-takers and
32:22risk-takers
32:23are the ones who achieve greatness. And
32:26I'm decreeing and declaring that you are
32:29not going to play it safe. You're going
32:32to activate next level thinking. You're
32:35going to the Bible said if you then be
32:37risen with
32:38Christ
32:39seek those things which are above and
32:42not beneath. Go to the next level in
32:44your thinking. And in our text the roof
32:47represents limiting beliefs also known
32:50as self-imposed limitations and fear and
32:53they ripped the roof off. They removed
32:56their limitations and here is something
32:59that one of my favorite author said, Aug
33:01Mandino. He said, "Your your only
33:04limitations are those you set up in your
33:07mind or permit or permit others to set
33:09up for you." So if your only limitations
33:12are your thoughts the moment you change
33:14your thoughts you have no limitation.
33:17The scripture says that these people
33:19were all amazed. It literally blew their
33:22mind. And I'm decreeing and declaring
33:24that as you set your intentions to do
33:28what God has commissioned you to do, to
33:29start that business, to go back to
33:31school, to do whatever he has
33:34commissioned to do,
33:36that's when you are literally going to
33:38blow people's mind. People are going to
33:40stand back and they're not even going to
33:42believe that you did it in the midst of
33:44pandemic. You bought it in the midst of
33:46pandemic.
33:48You started it in the midst of the
33:50pandemic. You traveled in the midst of
33:52pandemic. When other people are buckling
33:55down you were going for it. And I'm
33:58decreeing and declaring that whatever
34:01vision or dream you have you will not
34:04just sit idly by waiting for something
34:07to happen. In this season you are going
34:10to make it happen and you're going to do
34:12it with intentionality. It's all about
34:15mind over matter. I remember reading the
34:17story of Sarah and it's recorded in
34:20Genesis chapter 18 verses 11 to 15 how
34:23she received a word and she laughed
34:25within herself and she said, "Look,
34:27Abraham is old. I'm old. You know,
34:30there's no way that that can happen."
34:32And then the response was, "It's Is
34:35there anything too hard for God?" You
34:38remember when you set your intention you
34:40get the attention of two realms, the
34:44attention of heaven and the attention of
34:47earth. And the Bible said in Hebrews 11
34:5011 to 12 it really gives us insight as
34:53to how Sarah got became pregnant even
34:56though she was past the bearing age. It
34:58says, "Through faith also Sarah herself
35:01received strength to conceive seed and
35:04was delivered of a child when she was
35:06past age because she judged him faithful
35:09who had promised. There's Therefore
35:11sprang there even of one and him as good
35:14as dead so many as the stars in the sky
35:18in multitude as the sand which is by the
35:20sea shore innumerable." And so you know
35:24the question that I that that I want to
35:26ask you.
35:27When it comes to Sarah why couldn't she
35:30have a child? And I think that she
35:33lacked the ability to conceive how God
35:37was going to do it. And here is where a
35:40lot of people make a mistake. They look
35:44at their
35:46their their lives. They look at their
35:48pocketbook. They look at their bank
35:49account and they disqualify themselves
35:53and they begin to speak negatively in
35:56their mind. This is not going to happen
35:58because nobody likes me. Nobody knows
36:01me. I don't have enough money. And these
36:03are limiting thoughts. And so the second
36:06question that I want to ask you, are
36:08your thoughts limiting your life? And
36:12and this is a big question because we we
36:15want to talk about the devil. We want to
36:17talk about our fathers, what they didn't
36:19do, what they
36:20should have done. We want to talk about
36:22our boss. We want to talk about this or
36:23that or the other but we never look at
36:26our lives. And it wasn't until Sarah was
36:30able to conceive in her mind that it is
36:33possible for her to be pregnant. It
36:37wasn't until that moment in time that
36:40she became pregnant. And so the
36:42barrenness of mind is barrenness of
36:45body. And I talk about it, mind over
36:48matter. And our mind is stronger than
36:52matter and a lot of people have
36:54non-productive thoughts so there's
36:56non-productivity in their lives. Their
36:59businesses not are not producing. Their
37:01relationships are not producing. They're
37:03not producing ideas. They're not doing
37:06the things that they have the potential
37:08to do because of their own mindset. And
37:11as long as as Sarah remained barren in
37:15her mind she remained barren in her
37:17body. But the moment she was able to
37:19conceive this as possible was when the
37:23spirit of barrenness was broken.
37:26Barrenness is akin to non-productivity
37:28and I'm going to decree and declare your
37:30days of non-productivity are over. Your
37:33days of working one whole year and not
37:36having anything to show for that year of
37:39work are over. I decree that at the end
37:42of this year you will double your
37:44income. I decree and declare you're
37:46going to have more friends than you know
37:48what to do with. You are going to have
37:50more opportunities than you know what to
37:52do with. You're going to be able to give
37:54away opportunities. I'm decreeing and
37:56declaring that the spirit of barren and
37:58is barrenness is broken off of your
38:01mind. You have an extraordinary mind.
38:04Where does your future come from? It
38:06doesn't come from without. It comes from
38:08within. As a man thinketh so is he.
38:11Change your thoughts, change your life.
38:13And I decree and declare that even in
38:16your business this is going to be the
38:17most productive year that you will ever
38:19have. I decree and declare you are
38:22doubling bottom line activities and
38:25every activity is
38:26activity is going to be positive it's
38:29going to have a positive effect on your
38:32business. When I think about you that
38:35are engaging in business and so many
38:36people are going into business. There
38:38are so many people that are
38:40entrepreneurs. And I'm thinking about
38:43specific company owners
38:45that took the courage to start their
38:49business. And
38:51it means that they took a risk. A lot of
38:53them took a risk. I was reading about
38:55SparkNotes. Everybody that's been to
38:57university and and college knows about
39:00SparkNotes. Spark SparkNotes. And this
39:05particular business was started by a man
39:07by the name of Sam Yagan. And in his
39:10words he said, "Starting my first
39:11company, SparkNotes, right out of
39:14college I didn't know what I was doing.
39:16Now all high school and college students
39:18love it but at the time it was a crazy
39:21idea to turn down a job to go start an
39:24internet company. And since then
39:27deciding to sell to sell a company we
39:30built OKCupid into being one of the best
39:33dating sites out there. When you're an
39:36entrepreneur and you sell your company
39:39that is a career decision. Becoming a
39:41part of match.com and a part of IAC was
39:45something that was a big move. In other
39:47words, he was simply saying, "Look, I
39:49intended to do it and I
39:52held my nose and jump." And sometimes
39:55you just got to hold your nose and jump.
39:57And I was reading about him. I was
39:59reading about Jimmy Kimmel being a talk
40:02show host. He said, "I I haven't really
40:04had to take any risk because I've been
40:07fired from each job. It is worked out,
40:11but there's no risk whatsoever." So, he
40:13said, "Every job I had, I was fired
40:15from." But look at Jimmy Kimmel now. You
40:18have
40:19he played in House of Cards episodes.
40:22There's Sara Blakely that founded Spanx.
40:25She took all of her savings
40:27from selling fax machines and she put it
40:30into business and she shot her rear hand
40:33and the rest is history. She literally
40:35put her butt on the line and she went
40:38out on a limb. Arianna Huffington, the
40:40editor of Huffington Post Media Group,
40:44when she started her business, she said,
40:46"I started my business post Huffington
40:49Post in my 50s and
40:52that's
40:53that's
40:55risk-taking if if I can ever say that."
40:58And there's Jack Dorsey. He's the
41:01co-founder of Twitter and Square. He
41:04said, "I didn't know if there is
41:06something that's the riskiest. I'm
41:09scared every single day and it's a good
41:12thing. You want to take big risk." So,
41:14when we talk about intentionality,
41:17usually it pushes you into the realm of
41:21risk. And this is why people end up not
41:26doing something because they're scared.
41:29But all of these people talk about how
41:31they took a risk. Jack Dorsey, the
41:33co-founder of Twitter. If we didn't have
41:35Twitter if if if he didn't take the
41:37risk, if he didn't feel the fear and do
41:40it anyway, we wouldn't have Twitter. And
41:42I can go on and on and give you examples
41:44of people who had ideas and they were
41:47crazy ideas. They were novel ideas. They
41:51were inventive ideas and they took the
41:55chance. They they they they they said,
41:58"I'm going out on a limb. I'm taking all
42:00my savings and this better work." And
42:03they made it work. When it comes to you,
42:06you've got to understand
42:08that in our text, we we we talked about
42:11these four and they had a they had a
42:14vision. The vision was that their friend
42:16was going to be healed, but they were
42:20restricted. There were prohib
42:22prohibitions at the door. They couldn't
42:25move past the door.
42:26But God gave them an idea. It was like a
42:29spark of genius. It's a spark of
42:31inspiration. If you can't go through the
42:34door,
42:35you need to practice next level
42:37thinking. Go to the roof.
42:40And a lot of us are so comfortable
42:43with things as usual.
42:46Even individuals that are working in
42:48companies and if you're working for a
42:50company and you you you understand that
42:53every company is pivoting and there's
42:55going to be nothing that is usual. It's
42:58called a new normal for a reason.
43:01You have to learn how to pivot. And for
43:04those of you that are called to great
43:06ministries and great businesses,
43:09um you you really need to check God and
43:11ask him, "God, do you want me to
43:14continue here or do you want me to start
43:16start my own business?" A lot of people
43:18start their business and then they go
43:20back to the marketplace because they
43:23didn't count on overhead. They didn't
43:26count on taxes. They didn't count count
43:29on unemployment and I can go on and on
43:32and on why people run back. You have to
43:34decide, "Okay, am I called to work in
43:38the business, to work on the business,
43:41or to work with the business, or to
43:44create my own business?" And I think
43:47that
43:48I I remember reading the story about a
43:50man by the name of Mr. Barnes. And he
43:53said, "I'm going to work with Thomas
43:57Edison."
43:59And he wanted to work with not in the
44:01business, but work with him and it took
44:03him 5 years and after 5 years, he
44:05finally gets a job to work with him.
44:08And um he worked his way right up, but
44:11it took him 5 years to get there and he
44:14was faithful to the end. So, you know,
44:18I think of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
44:20Steve Jobs owned the business. Wozniak
44:22was quite happy to be creating those
44:25com- computers behind the scene. So, as
44:28you begin to pray, if you're going to
44:30start your business, then you have to
44:33understand that there's risk, but
44:35there's also responsibility and you have
44:37to be able to pray pay the price.
44:39Intentions take you to new performance
44:43heights and it brings you incredible
44:46results. Mark chapter 5 verse 25 to 35.
44:50And the Bible said, "And a certain woman
44:52which had an issue of blood 12 years and
44:55had suffered many things of many
44:57physicians and had spent all that she
44:59had and was not the better, but grew
45:02worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came
45:04in the press and touched the hem of his
45:07garment. For she said, "If I may touch
45:10but his clothes, I shall be whole." This
45:13is the whole idea of intentionality. She
45:16had in her mind a picture.
45:18And that picture said, "All I have to do
45:20is touch." That means that she was con-
45:23she was calling on her feet. She was she
45:25was dodging the feet of others, dodging
45:29being crushed at the foot of others,
45:31being stepped on.
45:33But she let absolutely nothing stop her.
45:37Intentions, therefore, is a spiritual
45:40technology of the mind that gives birth
45:42not only to next level thinking,
45:45but it magnetizes
45:47your mind with intention and attracts to
45:51itself the things, the opportunity, the
45:53experiences, and the resources, as well
45:56as the people that are that are in
45:59harmony with their thoughts. So,
46:01everybody is moving around, bumping
46:03against Jesus, but this one woman on the
46:06ground gets healed. Why? Because she set
46:11her intention to be healed. Others could
46:14have been healed, but it was this woman
46:18and he said, "Who touched me? I felt I
46:21literally felt
46:23the virtue go out of me." And you
46:25remember we talk and we talking about
46:27frequencies. When you think at a certain
46:30frequency, you attract the things and
46:34people that are in accord with that
46:39frequency. And so, she wanted to be
46:42healed. We know that
46:44sickness operates at a certain frequency
46:48and it can be measured in megahertz. But
46:51we also know healing can be measured in
46:54megahertz as well. And so, when she
46:57touched Jesus,
46:59he felt energy
47:01go out of him. Virtue. He felt the
47:03energy being pulled out of him. And so,
47:07you are either bringing things and
47:09people to you by your thoughts or you're
47:12repelling them. And this is why the
47:14Bible says, you know, "Let this mind be
47:16in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
47:18Whatsoever things are true and honest
47:20and judge and praiseworthy and lovely
47:22and of good report, the think on those
47:25things." Because you're setting yourself
47:27up for future manifestation.
47:30So, instead of you just sitting idly,
47:35you need to be like those five friends,
47:38four of them carrying their friend with
47:39a deficit. You need to be like that
47:42woman.
47:43You are setting your attention to
47:45accomplishing something and doing
47:48something. And a lot of us allow our
47:51emotions to get in the way. Emotions,
47:53basically, are these biochemical
47:55bioelectrical impulses of the brain and
47:58your mind is more powerful than your
48:01brain. So, let's not have a carnal mind.
48:05The Bible said you either choose the
48:07mind of the spirit or the mind of the
48:09flesh but which is the carnal mind and
48:12the carnal mind is just biochemical
48:14bioelectrical impulses that interprets
48:17experiences internally and externally
48:19around you. Never allow your emotions to
48:23control what you do. I always say, "Feel
48:28the emotions, but don't let it feel
48:31you." You you have to work past your
48:33emotions. You cannot allow your emotions
48:36to have control over your mind because
48:39it would shoot success, prosperity, and
48:41progress at point-blank range and it's
48:44going to sabotage your brilliance and
48:46your genius. It's going to undermine
48:49your potential. It'll undermine your
48:51wealth generating the wealth generating
48:53power of your mind. I think that even
48:56when it comes to poverty, poor people
48:58don't need money.
49:00Poor people need an idea.
49:01And this is what happened to the um I
49:05think it's in 2 Kings chapter 4. The
49:08widower.
49:09And she said, "You know, my husband's
49:10dead. They're getting ready to the
49:12creditors are coming to take my son."
49:15And what the prophet didn't give her was
49:18money. What the prophet gave her was the
49:21ability to think for herself. Gave her
49:23an idea. And she set her intentions to
49:26bring that idea to idea to pass. And she
49:29was able to come out of debt and she was
49:32able to leave an inheritance for her
49:34son. And this was a widow woman. And so
49:37we need next level thinking. We need to
49:40be able to take our life to the next
49:42level.
49:44We need to change our ideas about how we
49:47see ourselves. You are not a victim of
49:49circumstances. You are more than a
49:51conqueror. Greater is he that is in you
49:54than he that is in the world.
49:57When you begin to understand how
50:00powerful you are, you begin to
50:02understand your point of power is not
50:06you and you alone. It is God himself.
50:09And you serve a God of possibilities.
50:12And the Bible said, "If you have the
50:15faith as a grain of mustard seed, you
50:18are going to pitch at another realm and
50:20in another level of frequency. You're
50:23going to be able to say to mountains,
50:25'Be thou hence removed and
50:28go to a yonder place.' And the Bible
50:30said, 'Nothing shall be impossible for
50:33you because that mountain is going to
50:36move.' A lot of us have faith in God,
50:38but we don't have faith in who God has
50:40made us to be. We are earthly
50:42representatives. When God said, "Let
50:44your light show so shine before men that
50:46they may see your good works, glorify uh
50:49your father which is in heaven." He's
50:51talking about you being that light. You
50:55with your genius. You with your
50:58intelligence bringing that to the table
51:00and making a difference in your family
51:03and in the world around you. In the days
51:06to come, you're going to see God raising
51:09up these incredible thinkers and they're
51:11going to be like Noah was in his day. In
51:15Noah's day, he was a disrupter,
51:18but he paid attention to what idea that
51:20God gave him. And that idea was to build
51:22a ark. It's like a ship. There was
51:24nobody in his community that had had
51:27ever built a ship. There was no industry
51:30that was uh ship a ship building
51:32industry. In fact, it had never rained.
51:35And the Bible says, "As in the days of
51:37Noah, so shall it be at the coming of
51:39the Lord they are eating and drinking
51:40and giving in marriage until the flood
51:42came." And so these are the days that
51:45God likened to the days of Noah. And
51:48Noah's days were days of innovation. And
51:51so too are our days. And when we think
51:54about Noah as a disrupter, God gave him
51:57an innovative idea that no one had ever
52:00imagined, no one had ever dreamed of, no
52:03one ever thought of. And that thought of
52:05was impossible and they laughed at him.
52:07But when the rain start coming, um the
52:11joke was over. And the Bible indicated
52:15that he was able to consult God. God
52:18gave him heads up concerning uh trends
52:21and mega trends and how the world was
52:22going to change and how he was going to
52:24ride the winds the the waves of change.
52:27And I'm decreeing and declaring that you
52:30are not going to be swept away by these
52:32waves of change. You are going to be a
52:34disrupter. You're going to have next
52:37level thinking. You're going to bring
52:39the creative force of your mind to bear
52:42as God gives you sparks of inspiration
52:45that you are going to take seriously.
52:48And I'm activating the anointing of
52:50innovation upon you. I decree and
52:53declare the old way of thinking has come
52:56to an end and God is going to give you
52:58next level thinking. And it's going to
53:00show up in your work. Those of you that
53:02are
53:03decision making in industry and other
53:05businesses, I decree and declare you are
53:08going to be not only innovators, but
53:11you're going to be indispensable.
53:13They will never be able to fire you
53:15because you are going to bring so much
53:16value to the table. As a disrupter, you
53:20have to think differently. As a
53:22disrupter, you have to have creative
53:25thoughts, innovative thoughts,
53:26breakthrough thoughts. And I decree and
53:29declare that God right now through the
53:31Holy Spirit is increasing your capacity
53:34to think. And even as those five, they
53:37ripped the roof off, I decree right now
53:40the anointing is destroying limitations
53:43and lids. I decree that the heavens are
53:46open over you. Noah had to think
53:49differently. He had to imagine. He had
53:51to visualize. He had to conceptualize.
53:54He had to organize. He had to procreate.
53:58He had to originate. He had to
54:00contemplate. He had to develop theories
54:02and models and he had to meditate and
54:05ponder. He had to come into realization.
54:08He had to rationalize and design and
54:11build. He had to create blueprints and
54:13schematics. He had to construct. He had
54:16to put his hands to the plow. He had to
54:18form. He had to bring elements together.
54:21He had to reason. He had to have
54:22understanding and comprehension. He had
54:25to manipulate and facilitate. He had to
54:28cultivate his thoughts. He had to
54:30arrange, organize. He had to amalgamate.
54:34He had to orchestrate. He had to
54:35harmonize. He had to blend. He had to
54:37believe. He had to adapt. He had to
54:40coordinate. He had to maneuver. He He
54:43had to have the the advantage. He had to
54:46think outside of the box. He had to
54:48think counterculture.
54:51And he did it all because he took his
54:53thoughts seriously. And I decree and
54:55declare that even today, you are going
54:59to be moving into a new level of
55:02innovation. I decree and declare that
55:05God is activating critical thinking. I
55:08decree that even now, you are going to
55:11create an atmosphere for your thoughts
55:13to begin to blossom. I decree and
55:15declare wherever you show up, the
55:17atmosphere and the environment is
55:19shifting. I decree that God is going to
55:22give you the ability to think outside of
55:24the box. In fact, he's going to give you
55:26the ability to create boxes that other
55:29people think outside of. And you know
55:32some something that I I I've come to
55:35realize is that we really don't know who
55:38we are. And I decree and declare that
55:41even as Adam fell from a realm where he
55:43was pitching at a very high level of
55:46frequency of innovation that gave him
55:49authority and dominion, I decree and
55:51declare that same anointing is coming
55:53upon you. What the first Adam lost, the
55:57second Adam restored. I decree and
55:59declare you have a new kingdom paradigm
56:02that you're thinking differently. That
56:05you're going to next level in your
56:07thinking. You're elevating your
56:09thoughts. I decree that in this season,
56:11this is going to be the most innovative
56:13you've ever been. I decree that God is
56:15going to take you into new realms of
56:17success and and new realms of
56:19creativity. I decree that you lead
56:22change. I decree that you will not only
56:24prophesy change, you are going to be
56:26provoking change because from today
56:29onward, you are going to be an agent of
56:31change. You are going to influence
56:33change in your industry. People are
56:36going to use you as their model. They're
56:39going to be following your trends. I
56:41decree just like Noah was a trendsetter
56:43in his day, I decree you are going to be
56:47a trendsetter in your day. Now, you
56:50know, people begin to understand how
56:53creative Steven Jobs wa- was. But I
56:55decree that that level of creativity
56:58what is not restricted only to Steven
57:01Jobs. I decree a new level of genius is
57:04coming upon you. And where you may lack
57:07in experience, where you may lack in
57:09ability, where you may lack in exposure,
57:12I decree and declare the gifts of the
57:14spirit are being made available to you
57:17on demand. And as we begin to bring this
57:20to a close, I decree that you have the
57:23mind of Christ. Let this mind be in you
57:26which is also in Christ Jesus. I decree
57:30that this is going to be the most
57:32intentional you will ever live. I decree
57:35that you will begin to understand that
57:37an intention is a bridge between who you
57:39are and who you have the potential to
57:42be. I decree that the next best version
57:45of yourself is being um revealed. You
57:49have not come into your greatest hour.
57:51Your greatest hour is just ahead of you.
57:54I decree you are not giving up on your
57:56dreams. You are not throwing casting
57:59your your your faith to the side and and
58:03and throwing your inventions in a corner
58:06where it gathers dust. I decree and
58:08declare that that even as intention has
58:12a byproduct, I decree and declare every
58:15byproduct from your your your genius is
58:19being built. Is being made. Is being
58:22created. Today, you are going to get rid
58:25of your self-doubt because it's going to
58:27destroy your dreams. I decree and
58:29declare that you will not suffer from
58:32possibility blindness. I decree you're
58:34having an eye-opening experience. You
58:36are beginning to understand if it's
58:38going to be, it's going to be up to you.
58:41And I also believe that even as
58:44intentions never ever
58:47takes no for an answer, um I decree
58:52that from today on for you, no is is not
58:56a final and all things are going to be
58:59possible. I decree that you are rising
59:01up today and you are taking your place
59:04amongst the great because you intend to
59:08do it. Intention is the motivation
59:11behind action. And where you see
59:14inactivity, it is because people never
59:18intended to do something. But that is
59:20not you. As God gives you dreams, as God
59:23gives you vision, as God gives you
59:25insight, I believe you're going to sit
59:27down. You're going to count the cost.
59:29You're going to build your strategy.
59:30You're going to establish your goals and
59:33you're going to bring those ideas from
59:36conceptualization
59:37into the realm of
59:39fruition in Jesus name. Amen. Let us
59:43pray. Our Father in the God, we thank
59:45you for the second installment for
59:47intentions. Which of you intending to
59:50build does not first sit down
59:53and decide how much it will take to
59:55finish. That you are able to count the
59:57cost. And I decree and declare we are
59:59counting the cost. We're going out on
1:00:01the limb. We're making the sacrifice. We
1:00:03are taking the risk. We're going to
