- 0:00There's some new research that came out
- 0:01in the last year on heterosexual
- 0:03relationships and how men's mask, the
- 0:06first one, slips at 6 months.
- 0:09It was about to slip.
- 0:11The second one slips at a year and a
- 0:12half, and the third and final mask slips
- 0:15between 3 and 3 and 1/2 years. And the
- 0:17psychology behind this is that men who
- 0:18are trained up in the patriarchy, as all
- 0:19of them have been, see women
- 0:21even even when they want to see women as
- 0:23people, they've still been trained not
- 0:24to. And so they have a way of reacting
- 0:27and behaving with women in relationships
- 0:29where they wear these masks for the
- 0:30first 3 and 1/2 years. So you basically
- 0:32don't know a man until about the fourth
- 0:34year.
