Full transcript
- 0:00If I press and hold this button, I can
- 0:02open all the doors on the new Audi Q7
- 0:05automatically.
- 0:08There's an opaque blind for the sunroof,
- 0:10which you can control using this panel
- 0:12here [music] and just have it exactly as
- 0:14you like it. Look at the pattern I've
- 0:15created.
- 0:16And I can change it again.
- 0:20There's also a hands-free [music]
- 0:21tailgate opening
- 0:23that actually works.
- 0:26And then if I press this [music] button
- 0:28here,
- 0:33you got a retractable tow hitch which
- 0:34can tow up to 3 1/2 tons. Not every
- 0:37feature is great, though. For instance,
- 0:39these MagnaLock charging pods are
- 0:41standard on the Q7. [music] Great if you
- 0:43got MagnaLock on your phone, but like
- 0:45most people, you probably haven't. And
- 0:47so it's very hard to charge your phone
- 0:49wirelessly. Why can't we just have
- 0:51normal wireless charging base? The car
- 0:53I've here costs over 100,000 pounds, yet
- 0:54when you get to open [music] the boot
- 0:56and squeeze like that, listen.
- 0:58That bit of trim creaks. What? Audi's
- 1:02done away with manual controls for the
- 1:04air vents. Look, they're they're not
- 1:05there. They're You have to do it through
- 1:06the screen. Look, like that. Something
- 1:08else to go wrong. Also means you have to
- 1:10do it by
- 1:11>> [music]
- 1:11>> entering a menu. And in fact, the whole
- 1:14climate control system is a bit
- 1:15confusing with all It's just everything
- 1:16everywhere. Can you find the off button?
- 1:19Took me ages to find it. Look, it's
- 1:20here. Just hidden behind the steering
- 1:21wheel. There, off. Progress it is not.
- 1:24This is the new Audi Q7 and it's a
- 1:26little bit like a coal-powered flagship
- 1:29smartphone [music] because it blends old
- 1:31and new technology in one luxurious
- 1:33package.
- 1:38This Audi Q7 has a good old-fashioned
- 1:393-liter V6 diesel engine with 299
- 1:42horsepower and 630 Newton meters of
- 1:44torque driving all four wheels by
- 1:46eight-speed automatic gearbox with
- 1:47surprisingly launch control. So let's
- 1:50launch it and see how quick it is from 0
- 1:51to 60.
- 1:55>> [groaning]
- 1:55>> Diesel power.
- 2:01Ooh, 6.22 seconds. It's not bad. Let's
- 2:04see how good it stops though, cuz it's a
- 2:05heavy car. Brake test from 60 mph. We're
- 2:08looking at a distance, hopefully, of
- 2:10about 35 m. Let's go.
- 2:15That felt pretty good. What was it?
- 2:18Look at that. 31 m. That is impressive.
- 2:21But, does this car look impressive? The
- 2:24new Q7 has more road presence than its
- 2:26predecessor, partly because it's
- 2:27slightly wider, by about that much. So,
- 2:29it was 2 m wide. It's also got this
- 2:31bigger grill. Look at that. It's very
- 2:33aggressive. And, it actually
- 2:34illuminates. The badge illuminates if
- 2:37you buy the car in the USA, but it's not
- 2:39allowed to in Europe cuz of some
- 2:40advertising reasons. You like
- 2:42advertising Audi, apparently. The car
- 2:44gets Audi's new headlight design. You
- 2:46get it with special matrix LEDs, and
- 2:48then you have these daytime running
- 2:49lights here, which can show different
- 2:51patterns, depending on what you choose
- 2:52on the main infotainment screen. Also,
- 2:54the main headlights have this feature
- 2:55where they can display, at night, a
- 2:57carpet of light on the road in your
- 2:59lane. And then, when you indicate, it'll
- 3:01shift that carpet over to the nearby
- 3:02lane that you're moving into to tell
- 3:04other drivers. The car can even display
- 3:06its indicator signal on the ground as a
- 3:08further warning. Wheel sizes start at
- 3:1020s, rising up to these 23s. They are
- 3:13huge, and they certainly fill the
- 3:15arches. Looking down the sides, this
- 3:16particular car has the black pack, so
- 3:18you have black window surrounds rather
- 3:20than chrome, and black roof bars rather
- 3:22than the satin. The car is actually
- 3:23slightly taller than the previous
- 3:25generation model to give it more
- 3:26interior space. Then, around the back,
- 3:28you have optional OLED tail lights. As
- 3:31with the front, you can personalize the
- 3:32light signature, and there's even a
- 3:34function that when you have your hazard
- 3:35lights on, you get a little warning
- 3:36triangle in the light itself. And when
- 3:38you hit the brakes, you get another one
- 3:39in the high-level brake light. Also, at
- 3:41the back, Audi is allowed to illuminate
- 3:43its rings in all markets. So, what's
- 3:46good news? Audi's stopped with the fake
- 3:47exhaust, because look down here. This is
- 3:49a real exhaust, and so is that.
- 3:52Things are definitely
- 3:53on the up, but are they on the inside?
- 3:56Cuz that's what really matters on a car
- 3:58like this. The interior design of this
- 3:59new Audi is very nice. The only thing
- 4:02I'm not sure about is the screen action,
- 4:04cuz the screen has this big annoying
- 4:06bezel, and then you got the passenger
- 4:08screen as well. It's standard. But, do
- 4:11we really need it? Look, that's just too
- 4:13much screenage. Other than that though,
- 4:14I do like it, and I like this wood here
- 4:17on the dash and here as well. All looks
- 4:19very nice, and the materials in the door
- 4:21feel expensive. Well, there are bits of
- 4:23it feel a bit hollow, listen.
- 4:25I also like the steering wheel design,
- 4:27and it feels expensive. It's nice to
- 4:29hold, and of course you got electrical,
- 4:31not manual adjustment. And there's
- 4:33plenty of adjustment in it as well, so
- 4:35it's easy to get comfy when you're
- 4:36driving. And the controls, and your
- 4:39windscreen washer there, and especially
- 4:41Audi's drive select that I like it. I
- 4:43like the design of this. I find it quite
- 4:45easy to use. The only thing that I don't
- 4:47like, it's the buttons on the steering
- 4:48wheel. Yes, I don't like it, sorry. The
- 4:50way it's just one button, it just
- 4:51doesn't feel that nice to press. Now,
- 4:52the digital driver's display is when you
- 4:55have your maps quite clear, but the
- 4:56dials themselves, I find them a little
- 4:58bit dark and dull and not that
- 5:00interesting. The entertainment system,
- 5:02it's reasonably easy to use, but certain
- 5:04things can get a little bit confusing.
- 5:07Once again, it's a little bit dark in
- 5:08terms of the icons and stuff. There's
- 5:10lots of functionality in there, and you
- 5:11can do things like change all the
- 5:12ambient lighting, like the exterior
- 5:14lighting, you can mess around with
- 5:15through that, and you can then go into
- 5:17the interior lighting and change all the
- 5:20different colors. As for practicality,
- 5:23there is plenty. So, first of all, door
- 5:25bins,
- 5:26huge, cup holders,
- 5:30don't quite grip tightly enough.
- 5:33Decent storage under there with an old
- 5:34school 12-V, and
- 5:37Audi gives you one of these to handily
- 5:39wipe your screens down to clear off the
- 5:41dirty fingerprints.
- 5:44You're going to be needing that quite a
- 5:45bit.
- 5:49What's going on?
- 5:51>> [laughter]
- 5:51>> Okay, I figured it out.
- 5:53So, that's
- 5:55Wait, it's got a mind of its own.
- 5:59There we go. Oh, look. That's good. You
- 6:00can set the height of it.
- 6:02Then
- 6:03Oh, yeah. I like quite a lot the way
- 6:05that works, actually.
- 6:07Oh, [sighs] I'm learning as I go. The
- 6:09glove box is an average size, but at
- 6:12least it's lined with felt and feels
- 6:13premium. Then here you got two USB-Cs.
- 6:16If there is one problem, too many things
- 6:17are controlled through the screen, but
- 6:19that's common with most cars nowadays.
- 6:20You should get a few controls down here.
- 6:22Like your Audi drive select and your
- 6:24view monitoring stuff and your cameras
- 6:26and Oh, look. The camera's pretty nice,
- 6:27isn't it? It's got good graphics and
- 6:28stuff, all very nice. We'll get to try
- 6:30that out later. And then your volume
- 6:32control there.
- 6:35Speaking of which, this car has a Bang &
- 6:37Olufsen upgraded stereo with 22
- 6:39speakers, including speakers in the
- 6:40headrest there. Also, the seats are
- 6:42really comfortable with lots of
- 6:44adjustment, and these ones are heated
- 6:46and cooled. So, this has a special llama
- 6:48interior, so it's non-leather. It's like
- 6:51a wool effect. It's very, very nice. I
- 6:53don't know how many people spec this car
- 6:55with it, though. They're probably going
- 6:55to go for leather, but this really would
- 6:57be a good choice. And the headlining
- 7:01sort of like velvety fake suede. That's
- 7:04nice as well.
- 7:05You got big
- 7:07vanity mirrors, well-lit. Well-lit,
- 7:09that's good. Obviously, this car's got
- 7:10the big panoramic glass roof, which
- 7:12opens. That That is good. But what is
- 7:16life like in the back seats? Does it
- 7:18feel as premium? Audi hasn't cheaped out
- 7:20here in the back. It's all the same
- 7:21materials, feels very luxurious. Even
- 7:24down there on the door bins, it's soft
- 7:26touch. And you see that material there?
- 7:28See that?
- 7:29That's not just a trim panel. That's
- 7:30actually a speaker. They hide the
- 7:32speakers with this method. It's quite
- 7:34nice, isn't it? So, it's also nice,
- 7:35these seats. So, look how much head room
- 7:38I've got. There's loads and loads of
- 7:40head room. Knee room's good as well.
- 7:42There's plenty of foot space. You can
- 7:43really stretch out. Even the middle seat
- 7:46is pretty wide and big. This is a wide
- 7:48car. There is room for three people in
- 7:51this middle row. Also, look at this,
- 7:53right? ISOFIX here. Look at it. ISOFIX.
- 7:57ISOFIX here. Here as well.
- 8:00Let me get to you. Where are you,
- 8:00bugger?
- 8:01Where are you? Maybe you're in there.
- 8:03There, look. And then
- 8:05there's also ISOFIX on the front
- 8:07passenger seats. It's great if you've
- 8:09got far too many kids. Fold this down,
- 8:11right? You've got an armrest
- 8:13and cup holders which are hidden so that
- 8:14when you're resting your arm, you're not
- 8:15putting them in the cup holder like you
- 8:17do in other cars. Let's do this as well.
- 8:18You got
- 8:20through loading into the boot area
- 8:23with all our stuff in there.
- 8:26And another thing to show you, the door
- 8:27bins are big. That's a little bottle.
- 8:29Let's get a big bottle to prove it.
- 8:32See? Plenty of space. And this car has
- 8:35the built-in blinds which
- 8:37really
- 8:40probably something that'll go wrong
- 8:42later in car's life, you know, after 10,
- 8:4420 years. This used to just have a
- 8:45manual one, but
- 8:47looks good, doesn't it? Do the rear
- 8:49windows go all the way down though? Go
- 8:51on, you can do it. No, not quite. That's
- 8:53a shame.
- 8:54But I do like this, look.
- 8:56USB-Cs here, just in the seatbacks. And
- 8:59posh airplane style
- 9:01folders, pockets on the back seats.
- 9:03Plus, if you look here, look look look
- 9:04look. You can hang something off there
- 9:06like to hold the iPad or whatever
- 9:09for when you're watching a movie while
- 9:10being driven somewhere. And there's two
- 9:12more USB-C ports down there as well.
- 9:14We've got the climate control here
- 9:15that's controlled by this. And we've got
- 9:16heated outer middle row seats. Speaking
- 9:18of which,
- 9:20look.
- 9:22You can move them forwards and backwards
- 9:24and recline
- 9:26them as well. Look. That's very good,
- 9:28isn't it? This car is fully loaded
- 9:29though. Entry-level cars won't get all
- 9:31these toys. Now, let's check out the
- 9:33very back row.
- 9:35Is it going to be roomy or not? To get
- 9:37into the third row, I just press this
- 9:39button here, wait for a while, and then
- 9:41I move this seat out of the way.
- 9:46Then I can climb in. It's not the
- 9:48biggest gap, but I guess it's designed
- 9:50for children. Now, you're going to
- 9:52struggle to see what's going on here.
- 9:53So, what I'm going to do is this. Look,
- 9:56if I fold this down, and then I press
- 9:57this button to put this back, you'll see
- 9:59how much room I have or do not have.
- 10:02Now, interestingly, it's going to move
- 10:03itself forward, which I think is a bit
- 10:05of a fake because no one has enough room
- 10:08for their knees. Look down here. There's
- 10:09not enough room, is there? So, let me
- 10:11just
- 10:12clamber over and put it
- 10:15where I'll be comfortable.
- 10:18In fact, let's just test it. This is
- 10:20professional. I've got my ass in the
- 10:22air,
- 10:22>> [laughter]
- 10:23>> clambering over seats.
- 10:25Right, that's doable. That's good.
- 10:27Right, now I'm going to jump into the
- 10:28back. Let's see what we've got.
- 10:31Let's see what we've got here.
- 10:35Okay.
- 10:37So, even with that,
- 10:39just about enough room, but
- 10:43Look, you can see just about enough knee
- 10:45room.
- 10:46Headroom,
- 10:47for me, I'm of average height, like
- 10:50179 cm. There is enough headroom for me.
- 10:53Also, it doesn't feel too dark back here
- 10:54cuz you have that big sunroof and
- 10:56decent-size windows here in the back.
- 10:57The BMW X7 does feel more spacious. I
- 11:00have heated seats in the rear. That's a
- 11:02surprise. There's my USB as well. I've
- 11:04got my cup holders there. This is
- 11:06another surprise. We've got ISOFIX
- 11:08anchor points down here. Look, ISOFIX.
- 11:10So, you have six ISOFIX anchor points.
- 11:15That is a lot of ISOFIX anchor points.
- 11:17So, this car isn't the best in the
- 11:19rearmost row, but it's not completely
- 11:20tragic. Kids will be fine, and adults
- 11:22will be okay for shorter journeys. But
- 11:24what about everyone's luggage? Even in
- 11:27seven-seater guise, the Audi Q7 has a
- 11:30reasonable amount of luggage space. Look
- 11:33this area here. And this is how many
- 11:34liters it is. But if you need more
- 11:37space, obviously you are going to fold
- 11:38down seats.
- 11:40Makes a bit of a noise, doesn't it?
- 11:42But then you have this many liters of
- 11:45space. And look, there's no load lip and
- 11:47it's completely flat for loading and
- 11:49it's quite a square shape. Plus you
- 11:51press this button here
- 11:53it will lower the car down on its air
- 11:55suspension to make it easier to load and
- 11:57unload. If you need to carry even more
- 11:59stuff, then you can fold down all the
- 12:01seats and it's this button here. If you
- 12:02look, that one.
- 12:07It does take a while, but then you have
- 12:09a massive load bed. In fact you can use
- 12:12it as a bed.
- 12:14See you later.
- 12:19However, all this tech comes at a price.
- 12:21Entry-level Q7s will start at just over
- 12:24£80,000 when they go on sale later this
- 12:26year. And a top spec car such as this
- 12:28one will be over £100,000.
- 12:30But if that sounds a bit steep, there is
- 12:32another option. Now, I've actually found
- 12:34a used previous generation SQ7 on carwow
- 12:38for similar money. Here it is.
- 12:40Bit of a bargain. However, of course
- 12:42there's always a risk when you're buying
- 12:43used and that's why you should always do
- 12:44a carvertical used car history check
- 12:47because here's an example of an Audi Q7
- 12:50with a bad carvertical report. Look, you
- 12:52won't want to buy that. It's been
- 12:53involved in an accident.
- 12:55>> [music]
- 12:55>> And that's why you should always do a
- 12:56carvertical history check. And when you
- 12:58do, use the code carwow for 20% off.
- 13:02There's a link in the description and
- 13:03pinned comment for this video. Just
- 13:05follow those if you want. Now though,
- 13:06let's see what this car is like to
- 13:08drive. One of the things I really liked
- 13:09about the second generation Audi Q7 was
- 13:12that while it was a big comfy cruiser,
- 13:14it was also surprisingly fun on a twisty
- 13:17road. Let's see how this new one
- 13:18performs. So I'm going to go into
- 13:19dynamic mode. Let's go dynamic.
- 13:23So it's stiffening up the suspension,
- 13:24sharpening the throttle response, adding
- 13:26weight to the steering, and making a
- 13:28fake noise through the speakers. Even
- 13:30with the air suspension in its firmest
- 13:32setting, because this is the comfort
- 13:34model, there is always a bit of lean in
- 13:36the bends. But, it feels pretty stable
- 13:39and surprisingly agile because we have
- 13:41rear-wheel steering. That helps. The car
- 13:44turns in a little bit better and feels a
- 13:46touch more stable. You can rattle on at
- 13:48a surprising rate. And, the good news is
- 13:50the brakes are great as well. So, if you
- 13:51need to suddenly stop for roadworks like
- 13:53that, you'll find out already, guys,
- 13:54you're safe. I wouldn't like to be doing
- 13:56that today. It's blooming boiling
- 13:57outside. Now, it's about to get proper
- 14:00twisty.
- 14:02Oh, lost my phone. That's how well it
- 14:04grips around corners. Look at that.
- 14:06>> [laughter]
- 14:07>> It's surprisingly good. You just
- 14:09wouldn't be allowed to do this though if
- 14:10you owned this car and you had your
- 14:11family in it. My cameraman, Miguel, is
- 14:12just having to put up with it because
- 14:14I'm technically testing the car. Oh,
- 14:16hello. We've got a pass.
- 14:19Enough grunt from the diesel engine. You
- 14:22can always hear it even through the fake
- 14:23noise. Just a bit of a
- 14:25of dieseling us. I've sort of forgotten
- 14:27what that sounds like because there's
- 14:29been so many cars launched that are
- 14:30either electric or petrol hybrid. So,
- 14:33diesel's quite a novelty these days and
- 14:34you forget there is just a little bit
- 14:36more noisy. But, my god, this car
- 14:38handles well and I've got a feeling
- 14:40there's a bit of stability control
- 14:41helping out here and there cuz I can
- 14:42hear the clicking sound on the brakes.
- 14:44But, woo!
- 14:45What do you think, Miguel?
- 14:46>> I like it.
- 14:47>> Really? And you're feeling sick?
- 14:48>> It's a big boy.
- 14:49>> Oi! Oi! I think that's enough of fooling
- 14:52about. I think we've made the point. The
- 14:54car is pretty capable. I would like to
- 14:57try it in the sportier suspension setup,
- 14:59but I think if I was buying it, you
- 15:00don't really need it to handle any
- 15:02better than this, do you? That looks
- 15:03like a proper French car in front,
- 15:05doesn't it? A Citroen that's got some
- 15:06damage that's been taped over. And then
- 15:08a Renault that's got patches on the back
- 15:10of it. Let's see if we can do an
- 15:11overtake here. I don't know if the
- 15:13locals will let me.
- 15:16I can see it's okay.
- 15:20Sometimes you can have fun in the most
- 15:22unexpected of cars. The new Audi Q7 uses
- 15:25a 48-volt mild hybrid system. You have a
- 15:27little electric motor in the
- 15:28differential, which provides a bit of
- 15:30extra oomph when you're pulling away or
- 15:32cruising. And it even allows the car to
- 15:33maneuver at low speeds without using the
- 15:35engine at all. This is quite a big car,
- 15:37so it has an auto parking feature, which
- 15:39should help find parking spaces for you.
- 15:41So, I'll just put this on and it should
- 15:42just be reading them. There's a space
- 15:44there. I could get into that. Is it
- 15:45going to recognize it? Oh, there it is.
- 15:47We've got it. We've got it. We've got
- 15:47it. I'll now just hit start and it
- 15:49should do the thing. If the car behind
- 15:51me is my friend, oh no, he's not going
- 15:53to be happy. Oh. Oh. Now I've got 23-in
- 15:56alloy wheels. It doesn't want to curb
- 15:58the wheels. This is quite a big space.
- 16:00Can it put it evenly though in the
- 16:01proper parking space? Look, can it read
- 16:02it? Can it read it? Can it read it?
- 16:05I think it's going to do it. Is it?
- 16:07Fully into the space.
- 16:10Let's get out and judge what it's done.
- 16:13See the white line there? I think it
- 16:14needs to move forward just a bit more.
- 16:16Or maybe it's doing that thing where
- 16:18it's sort of taking up two spaces so
- 16:20that no one gets too close and damages
- 16:21the car. We are in France after all. And
- 16:22look, they like to touch park, the
- 16:24French. French touch parking, can you
- 16:26see it going on down there? So, I think
- 16:28this Audi has just thought about that.
- 16:29It knows it's in France. It's used the
- 16:31satnav. It's a very clever system and
- 16:32it's parked strategically. That's
- 16:34exactly what's happened. Look at this.
- 16:36I've just noticed this. Tells you when
- 16:37your alloy wheels are close to the curb.
- 16:39So, they're on red cuz I'm very close.
- 16:41If I pull out, you've got to watch out
- 16:43for the French. Look, risk.
- 16:47Why didn't it flash a safety thing?
- 16:50>> That's a bad
- 16:51>> [laughter]
- 16:51>> That is a bad. The French are just
- 16:53coming for you, aren't they? You know
- 16:54what that was though? That was a case of
- 16:56too busy using the tech. You're looking
- 16:57at a screen rather than like all right,
- 16:59the skills that you used to have when
- 17:01you were younger. When I was a younger
- 17:02driver, I'm probably worse now because
- 17:04I'm relying too much on tech. I can't
- 17:06park cars now because I've lost that
- 17:08skill cuz I'm just using lines and got,
- 17:10you know, like playing a computer game.
- 17:11And when you're in France, it's high
- 17:13risk. They're coming for you. They don't
- 17:14care. That's a clear parking space. I
- 17:17want you to back me into that. Yeah,
- 17:18there we go. It's got it. It's got it.
- 17:19It's got it. Look, it's got it. You
- 17:21beauty. What are you going to do? Going
- 17:23forwards or backwards?
- 17:26It's doing it the hardest way possible.
- 17:28It's decided to nose it in. I'm pretty
- 17:30sure there was an opportunity to switch
- 17:32it to reversing in, but we are in. What
- 17:34I do now is select reverse, and it'll
- 17:36reverse me out the way I did come.
- 17:39Hopefully, it'll brake when there's
- 17:40other cars coming. Ah, am I relying too
- 17:42much on the tech?
- 17:44There's a van. Oh, god.
- 17:45It panicked at the van, and now it's
- 17:47just disengaged. Note to self, don't
- 17:50bother. Just park yourself.
- 17:52Especially in France, they're just going
- 17:54to kill you. After all that shameful
- 17:55driving, I'm going to have to do a
- 17:56U-turn cuz I'm supposed to be going that
- 17:58way. Fortunately, because we've got rear
- 18:00axle steering, should be able to get
- 18:01round. Oh, no, it's the police. Let's
- 18:03just reverse and let the police get out
- 18:04of the way. Don't want to enrage the
- 18:06police. Or maybe they're not really the
- 18:07police. They just wear the police
- 18:08outfit.
- 18:09Ah, no, it's just an electrician. See,
- 18:10I'm not a local. I don't know. The
- 18:12French, they're not stopping for the
- 18:13Germans, that's for sure. Not sure how
- 18:14I'm going to get round here. Can I do it
- 18:16without curbing my wheels? Is he going
- 18:17to give me wheel shot? No, that's much
- 18:19better. Just do it yourself. Actually,
- 18:21that's when the aids really help. I just
- 18:23think the parking assist is probably
- 18:24unnecessary. Tell you what though, this
- 18:26car's definitely comfy around town. The
- 18:28suspension absorbs bumps nicely. The
- 18:30steering's light enough. One problem I
- 18:32do have is visibility. Look at the size
- 18:34of that. It's a big blind spot. But, the
- 18:37side mirror's good. Yeah, the back
- 18:38window, pretty good. So, it's not too
- 18:40difficult to place this large car on the
- 18:42road. And the automatic gearbox,
- 18:45you forget that it's changing gears,
- 18:47it's so smooth. When it comes to just
- 18:49cruising along, this car's very
- 18:51comfortable. Seats are nice. They're
- 18:53supportive yet firm. The suspension,
- 18:55smooth, floaty. And sound insulation is
- 18:58very good. Very, very good. Just a
- 19:01slight thrum from the diesel engine.
- 19:03Very little wind noise. Very little road
- 19:05noise. All very satisfying. Feels like a
- 19:07premium car to travel in. Makes you feel
- 19:09good about your life. So, then, what's
- 19:11my final verdict on the new Audi Q7?
- 19:14Should you avoid it, consider it,
- 19:15shortlist it, or just go right ahead and
- 19:17buy it? Well, I reckon you should
- 19:19shortlist the new Q7. It really is a
- 19:21good all-round family-friendly,
- 19:23luxurious SUV. [music]
- 19:25Question is though, do you think this is
- 19:27a better car than the new BMW X5? Well,
- 19:29to find out, watch my video of that car
- 19:32right there and make your own mind up. I
- 19:34hope you'll enjoy this video. If you
- 19:35did, give it a like. Let me know if you
- 19:36agree with my verdict in the comments
- 19:38below. If you haven't done so already,

- 19:41because I'll be reviewing the new X5
- 19:43soon. And as ever, thanks for watching
