1. 0:01Hi there, it's Jonino from the Multis
2. 0:03Blood Ball Federation for the NF World
3. 0:05Cup 2027 organizing team and I just
4. 0:09wanted to take a minute to address some
5. 0:11questions, concerns, comments, and
6. 0:13others that we've had since we've sent
7. 0:16the email this morning regarding ticket
8. 0:18prices. Uh, I understand the sentiment
9. 0:21that the tickets are expensive compared
10. 0:23to other World Cups. However, this is
11. 0:26what we set out to do from the get-go
12. 0:28and what was in our bid. The bid
13. 0:30includes a substantial investment into
14. 0:33streaming services, quality furniture, a
15. 0:36better audiovisisual experience, and
16. 0:37many, many other things which are in
17. 0:39progress as well. Between what we put in
18. 0:42our bid and the prices that we sent out
19. 0:44today, there is a discrepancy of €39.
20. 0:48This was €180 on our bid and the star
21. 0:52ticket with exactly the same things
22. 0:54costs €219.
23. 0:57Our original plan was immediately to
24. 0:59stick to what we had in the bid as it
25. 1:01was studied work and worked out. Uh our
26. 1:05vision was to elevate the current
27. 1:07international tournament experience
28. 1:09where we wanted to build on the great
29. 1:11events that happen across the globe and
30. 1:13myself attend as well and deliver a
31. 1:16little bit more. A cornerstone of our
32. 1:18bid was to include a very strong
33. 1:21streaming element which is well underway
34. 1:24and hopefully during MATC later in the
35. 1:26year we will have our first full test
36. 1:29setup complete with streamers test
37. 1:32tables all four games streamed at once
38. 1:34etc. Uh the bid is exactly that there is
39. 1:39nothing set in stone because there is
40. 1:42nothing that's been confirmed after
41. 1:44being adjudicated. we quickly set in
42. 1:46motion to do the more concrete work and
43. 1:50start signing contracts and otherwise.
44. 1:52And in fact, this is one of the reasons
45. 1:54why the date moved as well. Without
46. 1:58going into all the details, we did have
47. 2:00some prices increasing substantially
48. 2:02too. I must say when we got to this part
49. 2:05of the journey,
50. 2:09this has also been the reality with
51. 2:11previous world cups. Going back to
52. 2:13Dorburn, which bid was at €42 per person
53. 2:17but costed €110 per person and Alicante
54. 2:20which bid was €82 per person and it
55. 2:23costed €120 per person. I'm only
56. 2:27mentioning this because this is a
57. 2:29reality which happens in the setup that
58. 2:31we have right now at the current
59. 2:33structure of how the process goes and
60. 2:35unfortunately it has not been exclusive
61. 2:37to us. There have been many other
62. 2:39questions that have been asked which we
63. 2:41are working into our FAQ which will be
64. 2:44out next week. I will close with yes, I
65. 2:48understand this is more expensive than
66. 2:50the large events we've been to so far,
67. 2:52but this is also what we set out to do
68. 2:55in our bid. We promise and are doing our
69. 2:58damned hardest to build on the great
70. 3:00events that have come before us, learn
71. 3:02from what we think we can be improved,
72. 3:04introduce new things, maybe a lot of
73. 3:07them or too much of them, and deliver a
74. 3:10memorable event for everyone. Thank you
75. 3:14for your patience. Thank you for your
76. 3:16support and uh hope to continue working
77. 3:20in our journey to delivering a fantastic
78. 3:22North World Cup 2027.
