1. 0:00what is my strategy what is the secret
2. 0:02sauce it is incredibly simple it is
3. 0:05Elementary if you will I truly just
4. 0:08trade with trend lines and some support
5. 0:11and resistance the trend lines are going
6. 0:13to be the meat of the strategy the
7. 0:15support and resistance gives me just
8. 0:17some added confirmation some added
9. 0:19confidence about my positions so let's
10. 0:21get into how I would get into a trade
11. 0:23based on my
12. 0:24strategy I always use trend lines I'm
13. 0:26going to come in with one touch point
14. 0:30two touch points here and this is
15. 0:32platinum this is a great example
16. 0:34Platinum has been just respecting these
17. 0:35trend lines to a te absolutely beautiful
18. 0:38price action here we've got one two
19. 0:41three almost four touch points here on
20. 0:43this upward trend line I would get into
21. 0:46this position only because the trend
22. 0:48line was broken so we'll just say for
23. 0:49example purposes we've got one two three
24. 0:52touch points on this downward trend line
25. 0:54three touch points on this downward
26. 0:55trend line and then boom we've got a
27. 0:58break of a trend I would take a long
28. 1:00position here now we are following up
29. 1:02we're going up up up up up I would stay
30. 1:04in this position for as long as the
31. 1:06trend is happening so a lot of people
32. 1:08will ask me where do my take profits go
33. 1:10when I get into a position I don't know
34. 1:12how long the price is going to Trend in
35. 1:14this direction for I don't actually have
36. 1:16takeprofit so when I get into my
37. 1:17position I'm truly just trying to stay
38. 1:19in for the entirety of the move the
39. 1:21entirety of the trend and my indication
40. 1:24for when it is no longer trending in
41. 1:25that direction is when price breaks that
42. 1:27Trend so the price of platinum was
43. 1:30trending upward along this line from
44. 1:34December 7th all the way until January
45. 1:372nd did I know January 2nd was going to
46. 1:40be the day that Platinum no longer
47. 1:42trended up I don't no so I will close my
48. 1:44position and take my profit when the
49. 1:47price of platinum is no longer trending
50. 1:49along the current Trend that I'm in this
51. 1:51is also an excellent place for an
52. 1:53entry closing my position or even
53. 1:56considering reversing my position now
54. 1:58let's look for another downward trend
55. 2:01I'm going to take this downward trend
56. 2:02line we've got point a and point B here
57. 2:06now this is another Trend where we've
58. 2:07got one two three four touch points here
59. 2:11excellent four touch points I'll take it
60. 2:12all day we had a break of an upward
61. 2:15trend line now we've got a new downward
62. 2:17trend line let's try to stay in for the
63. 2:18entirety of this move the entirety of
64. 2:20this trend did I know that the price of
65. 2:22platinum was going to Trend down from
66. 2:25January 2nd all the way to January 18th
67. 2:28no so when when I get into this short
68. 2:30position I get into it allowing the
69. 2:33trend to play out for its entirety I
70. 2:35don't know how long it's going to Trend
71. 2:36along it but I want to stay in for as
72. 2:38long as I can I want to collect as much
73. 2:40profit as I can now I'll never reach
74. 2:42these highs and these lows but I will be
75. 2:44able to get at least the meat of the
76. 2:46trend I'll be able to get in for the
77. 2:47majority of that price movement the
78. 2:49majority of that Trend what gets me in
79. 2:51and what gets me out is going to be the
80. 2:52trend line so what got me into this
81. 2:55short position was the break of an
82. 2:56upward Trend now I'm in a short position
83. 2:59what's going to keep me in this trade if
84. 3:01price can continue along the downward
85. 3:03Trend that it is now following along I'm
86. 3:05going to stay in so you can think of
87. 3:07this downward trend line as my trailing
88. 3:09stop if the price continues along this
89. 3:12downward Trend I am going to stay in
90. 3:13this trade but as soon as it breaks
91. 3:15which it did here on January 18th I am
92. 3:18closing my position and taking my
93. 3:19profits that is essentially my strategy
94. 3:22in a nutshell so thanks for tuning in
