- 0:01Uh worked in the beer industry and had a
- 0:02brewery fail. Now see no path forward in
- 0:05the industry for my financial goals. How
- 0:07do I pick
- 0:08another
- 0:09uh goal
- 0:11that I've less passion interest in?
- 0:14You know,
- 0:15that's an interesting question. Um
- 0:20I'm going to give you I'm going to give
- 0:21you
- 0:23I'm going to give you advice that I
- 0:23probably wouldn't normally say, just
- 0:25because of the nature of what you said.
- 0:27If you really love the the brewing
- 0:30business,
- 0:31then it might make sense for you to
- 0:33actually go to a more successful brewery
- 0:35for a while
- 0:36and try to learn, maybe from a smaller
- 0:38brewery that's like fast growing and
- 0:40doing well. Try to learn from them so
- 0:42that you can take another shot at it,
- 0:43cuz like
- 0:45you're not going to die, right? Like
- 0:47maybe you make a little bit less for a
- 0:48period, but you're going to be trading
- 0:51earning for learning. And if you want to
- 0:53stay in this industry, I'm a big
- 0:55advocate of like if that like it's so
- 0:57rare to find something you actually
- 0:58like, like for real. So like kudos to
- 1:00you for actually finding something you
- 1:01like. Um that learning the skills of
- 1:03business around it, I think is much more
- 1:06basic to do than falling in love with
- 1:08something. And so I would go and get the
- 1:13business skills ideally from somebody
- 1:16who's in that space who's doing well and
- 1:18then be able to learn over a couple of
- 1:19years and then go out and do my own
- 1:21thing. We have a ton of entrepreneurs
- 1:22who work at acquisition.com who had past
- 1:24very large companies
- 1:25um and they're here cuz they want to
- 1:27learn. So I don't think that's a bad
- 1:28thing and as long as your lifestyle
- 1:30doesn't uh prevent you from doing that,
- 1:32I think that would be my my honest
- 1:34answer. Otherwise, you're just saying
- 1:35how do I pick a business?
- 1:38That's longer than I have time for.
- 1:40All right, let's do the next one. If you
- 1:42like this video and you're business
- 1:43owner who wants to break through your
- 1:44current revenue ceiling, I just
- 1:45distilled every lesson from scaling 10
- 1:47businesses past 15 million and three
- 1:48businesses past 100 million into a
- 1:50completely free scaling road map that
- 1:52I've used to go from zero to one, zero
- 1:54to 10, and zero to 100 plus. And so you
- 1:56can click here and you can check it out.
- 1:57Again, absolutely free. And since you're
- 1:59a business owner, appreciate you and uh
- 2:01enjoy.
