2. 0:04I know I'm late on making a testimonial
3. 0:09but I felt I owed it to you and myself
4. 0:13to make one anyways I started this
5. 0:19program on February 6 it is now March
6. 0:259th I posted a video on the web page
7. 0:35where we do our upload our our units so
8. 0:43I'm hoping that you will go see my video
9. 0:46there because first of all if you do see
10. 0:51it I apologize I'm not one to show a lot
11. 0:56of emotion
12. 0:59my name is mama bear and I have a lot of
13. 1:04my Cubs my kids and my and my best
14. 1:07friends they depend on me to be strong
15. 1:10and I totally made a fool of myself on
16. 1:16that video falling apart but it was just
17. 1:20because you have no idea what you have
18. 1:26given me you have done for me and I know
19. 1:31countless others I'm a single mom a bear
20. 1:37I have four children two of them are
21. 1:41older one is has given me two beautiful
22. 1:46grandbabies that I unfortunately have
23. 1:48not had a chance to meet yet I'm stuck
24. 1:52here in Canada going to school while
25. 1:54they're in Florida but I'm hoping thanks
26. 2:00to life book that that is going to
27. 2:01change and that I will be able to reach
28. 2:06my goals and financially be able to take
29. 2:10care of everything go home to them and
30. 2:11give them all
31. 2:13the best life possible I have my
32. 2:17youngest son with me Azlan he's seven
33. 2:20and he special needs we have been
34. 2:25through a lot it's just been him and I
35. 2:29since he was born and he has had a very
36. 2:37difficult life for just a little boy
37. 2:41I am trying everything in my power to
38. 2:45make a better life for all my kids and
39. 2:48grandkids but especially eizan
40. 2:53for kids like him he's not getting the
41. 2:55help that he deserves that he
42. 2:57desperately needs I I recently graduated
43. 3:01last year with my business accounting
44. 3:05degree I went to school for my Business
45. 3:09Administration but I due to a problem
46. 3:12with one of the professors I didn't
47. 3:14graduating that but I figured he's and I
48. 3:20went through through something last year
49. 3:22and it was just the last straw for me
50. 3:24and when I wasn't able to get him the
51. 3:27proper help he needed I decided my son's
52. 3:30best advocate is his mama bear so they
53. 3:34didn't have anything specifically for
54. 3:36his disorder at the college so I went
55. 3:40back for mental health and addiction so
56. 3:44I could help my son myself it ended up
57. 3:47being a gift from God I'm a recovering
58. 3:51addict I've been on methadone for the
59. 3:55last seven years eight years and I'm
60. 3:59almost off it but I became an addict I
61. 4:06don't want to go in great detail your
62. 4:08this is a testimonial so I'm a survivor
63. 4:10of multiple sexual abuse and sex
64. 4:13trafficking and it led me down a very
65. 4:17very dark path for a very very long time
66. 4:21it affected my children my marriage
67. 4:24everything
68. 4:26then I got pregnant with a sling and
69. 4:30because I didn't have my girls with me
70. 4:32my family ripped them from me and sent
71. 4:34me 2,000 miles away to Canada long story
72. 4:36and I didn't have a choice
73. 4:39I had nothing to live for my kids were
74. 4:43everything to me and I was a good mother
75. 4:45I just I don't have I don't talk to my
76. 4:50family they're not supportive but when I
77. 4:53had a sling it was like a second chance
78. 4:55for me I wasn't going to have him I
79. 4:58didn't want him to bring him into that
80. 5:00life but he saved me in ways I could
81. 5:05never express he it wasn't that my other
82. 5:10children did not save me if they did
83. 5:12save me every single day that I wanted
84. 5:14to die and I wouldn't because I couldn't
85. 5:16do that to them but I eventually would
86. 5:20have not by my hands but by the by drugs
87. 5:23living on the streets being sold to
88. 5:27different monsters it was just he was
89. 5:31physically there like I had somebody
90. 5:35that absolutely depended on me and I
91. 5:39couldn't have an abortion anyways I just
92. 5:41I couldn't do it
93. 5:42I needed him anyways as soon as I got
94. 5:47pregnant I went on methadone I tried
95. 5:50getting clean but I would have lost him
96. 5:53so I went on methadone and it was the
97. 5:56best decision I ever made because it
98. 5:57saved my life he saved my life
99. 5:59my biggest issue was I've I've done
100. 6:03really well and I've gone back to school
101. 6:05and I've tried to make a better life but
102. 6:07he was and I and I even started my own
103. 6:10little life book where you know I had a
104. 6:12book that I put all my goals in and
105. 6:15everything I wanted sheave and I posted
106. 6:17on my walls and but it was the strategy
107. 6:21I could never figure out how to get to
108. 6:27make my goals come true to achieve them
109. 6:29and the biggest thing that was stopping
110. 6:33me was my fear I was afraid to go out I
111. 6:37was afraid to
112. 6:39I would miss a lot of days of school
113. 6:41even in the last few years
114. 6:42few years because I was just at home I
115. 6:45was safe but I was depriving of my son
116. 6:50of so much and myself and so much has
117. 6:57happened since then but when I found
118. 7:00life look I truly believe that it was
119. 7:04God's gift to me another gift because
120. 7:11since I've done life book there's so
121. 7:18much that I could say to you explain
122. 7:20about my past and then explain now and
123. 7:24you would get it and you would be like
124. 7:26oh my god really life book was the
125. 7:33absolute best thing I am now I would
126. 7:44before I was advocating doing my own
127. 7:47YouTube channel and my facebook page
128. 7:49but I wasn't consistent with it and I I
129. 7:52didn't know how to start my own campaign
130. 7:56or to get into it I didn't know how to
131. 7:59help people and I'm still I have a lot
132. 8:03of anger in me and I deal with that and
133. 8:05my son's behavior is triggers for me so
134. 8:09it's been a really really hard road but
135. 8:13finishing life book I posted it I put it
136. 8:17on boards and you know you'll see him in
137. 8:19my video that I posted on on Facebook I
138. 8:23printed out all the slides I did it on
139. 8:27PowerPoint and I printed out all the
140. 8:29slides and the pictures and everything
141. 8:32and I have 12 boards in my living room
142. 8:36which is now in my office so I see them
143. 8:39every day and every morning I wake up my
144. 8:41ritual is I read all of my visions
145. 8:46sometimes I read all four of every board
146. 8:49but that's time-consuming so most the
147. 8:51time I read the
148. 8:52because to me that's what's most
149. 8:54important I already know my purpose my
150. 8:56children but one thing that helped me
151. 9:03amazingly was when you said in the
152. 9:07vision you have to not only picture it
153. 9:12but you have to make the details
154. 9:16specific and don't answer the questions
155. 9:19just right and that's what I did I
156. 9:23closed my eyes and I have that that
157. 9:25talked to text on my my word and I would
158. 9:31envision everything in my head and I'm
159. 9:35talking down to my mansion with my
160. 9:38retreat in my backyard and waterfalls
161. 9:42and how I decorate my house and what
162. 9:44kind of furniture and how my kids rooms
163. 9:46would be set up and and I mean
164. 9:48everything was down to the very last
165. 9:50detail and I just talked talked to text
166. 9:54and I was specific about everything and
167. 9:58I can't even tell you what perspective
168. 10:01that put it in for me and then the
169. 10:04strategy just came and I wanted it so
170. 10:08badly that I have been fighting against
171. 10:11that fear I started a new page and this
172. 10:16one's called a mama bears mission and it
173. 10:20is specific I still advocate on my other
174. 10:23Twitter and Facebook pages for my son
175. 10:26and for children and special needs but
176. 10:29this one is specific for sexual assault
177. 10:31sex trafficking and some of it it even
178. 10:35talks about addiction I am meeting with
179. 10:39some people in town to find out how to
180. 10:43start a fundraiser I'm already doing a
181. 10:45small fundraiser for children of the
182. 10:46night on my Facebook page but I'm
183. 10:49talking to people about starting my own
184. 10:51campaign and one of the steps and I'm
185. 10:54writing a book about my whole life and
186. 10:56everything I've been through and I have
187. 10:59a famous celebrity that has offered to
188. 11:02read it not do anything else just read
189. 11:04it and let me
190. 11:05know what he thinks and I'm going to get
191. 11:08it published and I am going to travel
192. 11:11the world talking about my book and
193. 11:14bringing awareness and educating others
194. 11:16and it is my mission in life I used to
195. 11:20think I was nobody
196. 11:22that I couldn't do anything you know but
197. 11:25yes my dream is to rid the world of sex
198. 11:28trafficking and maybe that won't happen
199. 11:30in my lifetime
200. 11:31but that doesn't mean that I have to sit
201. 11:34back and think that I can't do it
202. 11:35because I have to do it I am going to
203. 11:41share my story I am going to educate
204. 11:45people and I am going to help other
205. 11:49women and children because I didn't have
206. 11:52anybody I didn't have support compassion
207. 11:56understanding I've been dealing with
208. 11:58this [ __ ] since I was six years old and
209. 12:02the thought of other children going
210. 12:04through what I went through I have to do
211. 12:08something I want my life to mean
212. 12:11something I don't want it to be for
213. 12:13nothing I want to leave a legacy for my
214. 12:15children I have so many things on my
215. 12:20to-do list that I'm finally going to do
216. 12:23that I am doing i could talk here
217. 12:27forever
218. 12:27but I've been down here for 13 minutes
219. 12:30and I don't want to borrow anybody but I
220. 12:34wanted to tell you you know John you
221. 12:38said at the end of one of your videos
222. 12:40the last video that you were so grateful
223. 12:44to to people like us who did life book
224. 12:48for forgiving you this opportunity when
225. 12:53in fact what you're doing is saving
226. 12:58lives because you have helped impact and
227. 13:04change and save my life in so many ways
228. 13:08and I will be forever grateful to you
229. 13:12for that for giving me this gift so I
230. 13:16can
231. 13:18be it a beacon of light for other women
232. 13:22and children they leave a legacy of hope
233. 13:26and courage for my children so they can
234. 13:30be proud of me I am like I said the
235. 13:36video I'm going to message you in one
236. 13:40year and I'm gonna send you a video and
237. 13:45I am going to put all different things
238. 13:49in the video of the places I've traveled
239. 13:51and the people I've seen in the people
240. 13:54I've helped and book I've published and
241. 13:57I just want you to see what you did one
242. 14:03life and to know that there are
243. 14:08thousands and thousands of lives like
244. 14:11mine that you have impact and saved in
245. 14:16ways you could I don't know how I could
246. 14:21ever repay you and Missy for what you've
247. 14:24given me but I'm gonna start by making
248. 14:28my life mean something by doing my heart
249. 14:34part to pay it forward I still have a
250. 14:40long way to go but I'm taking it
251. 14:44day-by-day and I will never ever give up
252. 14:57I did say in my video that I could not
253. 15:01keep going because I used my rent money
254. 15:05to do this
255. 15:08my comes down to making a choice I've
256. 15:16talked to my landlord and he's being
257. 15:18supportive and I'm gonna have to work
258. 15:21really hard to make up that money and
259. 15:24eventually get caught up on my rent but
260. 15:28I've decided to let you keep my money
261. 15:31and I'm moving forward with the mastery
262. 15:34class which I will be starting tonight
263. 15:39so here's to saving a life and making
264. 15:51this world a better place
