- 0:54weekend as well. But you know what?
- 0:56Because it has been such a long while,
- 0:58let's get straight over to the
- 0:59prediction page straight away because we
- 1:01have got 10 fixtures for you in La Liga
- 1:03this weekend. Starting off with one game
- 1:05tonight. So, let's get straight into it.
- 1:08The opening game of the La Liga weekend
- 1:10comes right from the bottom of the La
- 1:13Liga table where we find a Malaga side
- 1:15without a win so far this season taking
- 1:18on Espanol who to be fair aren't doing
- 1:20that much better with seven points from
- 1:23their opening seven games down in 15.
- 1:26Before the international break, Malaga
- 1:28made it back-to- back defeat, losing 1-0
- 1:30away to in a game where, to be fair to
- 1:33them, they did hold out for the vast
- 1:35majority of the match making it to the
- 1:37final 10 minutes. But then their left
- 1:39back and their goalkeeper were both
- 1:41nutmeg by the same player leading to
- 1:44that goal and that meant that it is
- 1:46their fourth defeat of the season out of
- 1:49their opening seven games. And like I
- 1:50say, they are literally last in the La
- 1:53Liga table after the first portion of
- 1:55the season. As for Espanol, they also
- 1:58went into the international break
- 1:59following back-to- back defeats. And
- 2:01their most recent game was by far their
- 2:03worst result of the season so far as
- 2:06they lost 3-1 at home to Elchce. And
- 2:09Elchce spent basically the entire match
- 2:12with 10 men after a six-minute red card.
- 2:15And it was just pure complacency from
- 2:18Espanol. I guess they just assumed that
- 2:20they were going to win the match from
- 2:21that position cuz if you've not seen the
- 2:22defending and the goalkeeping that
- 2:24allowed Elch's opening two goals is an
- 2:27absolute disgrace. They were able to
- 2:29pull one back in the second half but
- 2:31even that was through an own goal and
- 2:33then it got even worse because straight
- 2:35from kickoff Elchce still with 10 men
- 2:38made it 3-1 and after a decent start to
- 2:41their campaign it's now really not
- 2:43looking good for Espanol coming out of
- 2:45that international break. In terms of
- 2:48the team news for the opening game of La
- 2:50Liga, no fresh concerns for either side,
- 2:52but the bad news also is no returns for
- 2:55any of the players that both of these
- 2:57sides were missing prior to the
- 2:59international break. The last time that
- 3:01these two sides met, it was 5 years ago
- 3:03in the second tier of La Liga with
- 3:05Espanol winning both home and away by
- 3:08three goals to nil. and Espanol have
- 3:10actually won six of the last seven games
- 3:14where they have come to Malaga on
- 3:16current form. I honestly think that this
- 3:18one could go either way. And I'm going
- 3:20to start La Liga's weekend with a 1-1
- 3:23draw between Malaga and Espanol.
- 3:26On to the opening game on Saturday and
- 3:29this sees two sides both on eight points
- 3:31going headtohead here with Rea Viao
- 3:33taking on athletic club Bill Bao. Before
- 3:36the international break, both sides were
- 3:38on fairly decent form with Viaano
- 3:40winning at home to Espanol before then
- 3:42drawing 1-1 away at Osuna thanks to yet
- 3:45another goal from forward Camello. He's
- 3:48now got seven in seven at the start of
- 3:50the La Liga season. But his goal did
- 3:53come after Vakano fell behind in the
- 3:55first half and despite in my opinion
- 3:57being the better team for the rest of
- 3:59the match. They were unable to find a
- 4:00winner. However, they have also won
- 4:02their last two home games ahead of this
- 4:04one. They're going to be full of
- 4:05confidence they can make it three out of
- 4:07three here. As for Bill Ba, they are now
- 4:10four La Liga games unbeaten after losing
- 4:12their first two, but it should be noted
- 4:14that they do actually have a game in
- 4:16hand after a game was rained off. So
- 4:18even though these two sides are on the
- 4:20same number of points, you would say
- 4:21that Bill Ba are on the slightly better
- 4:23form. Their previous game ahead of the
- 4:26international break was one that they
- 4:27absolutely dominated from start to
- 4:30finish against Alves. However, despite
- 4:32having 24 attempts to Alves's two in the
- 4:35match, they weren't able to find the
- 4:37breakthrough and even saw a sun penalty
- 4:40saved as well, meaning that nil nil is
- 4:42how it finished. It would be very
- 4:43disappointing for them. They weren't
- 4:45able to convert that into a victory. In
- 4:48terms of the team news ahead of this
- 4:49game, there are no fresh concerns for
- 4:51the home side, but it's yet another
- 4:53international break and yet another
- 4:56injury for Nikico Williams, which could
- 4:58see him out for athletic club Bill Bao
- 5:01up until the next international break.
- 5:03It doesn't look like it's a good injury
- 5:05for him. Last season, it ended 1-1 on
- 5:08this ground with Bill Ba taking it at
- 5:10home. Bill Bar actually unbeaten on
- 5:12their last seven visits to Viao dating
- 5:15all the way back to 2014. And
- 5:18personally, I think that unbeaten run is
- 5:20going to continue this weekend. But
- 5:22after the fact they have had
- 5:24back-to-back draws and given the fact
- 5:26that Viao do have a very strong home
- 5:28record so far this season, I'm not
- 5:30confident enough to give Bill Bao the
- 5:32victory here. I don't think I've done
- 5:34this in a very long while, but I'm
- 5:35actually starting off with two draws to
- 5:38open the La Liga weekend once again 1-1
- 5:41between Viaano and Bill Bao. The second
- 5:45game on Saturday comes from Alves, who
- 5:47despite their dip in form towards the
- 5:49start of the international break, still
- 5:51find themselves up in sixth place in the
- 5:53table after going unbeaten in their
- 5:55opening four matches. They're going to
- 5:57be taking on an Atletico Madrid side who
- 5:59will be absolutely full of confidence
- 6:01after going into the break with three
- 6:03straight wins in the league and capping
- 6:05it off with a massive result in the
- 6:07Madrid derby. We'll start off with Alves
- 6:10though who actually were on a run of
- 6:11back-to-back defeats before gameweek
- 6:13seven, but they were able to turn it
- 6:15round by getting a nil nil draw against
- 6:17athletic club Bill Bao. Tanaglia did his
- 6:19best to get them in trouble when he was
- 6:21a judge to a trip Niko Williams. Though
- 6:23personally, I don't think it was a
- 6:26penalty. I don't understand why V ended
- 6:28up giving it, but justice was served in
- 6:30my opinion when goalkeeper Sea ended up
- 6:33saving that penalty and between him and
- 6:35the rest of the defense, they were able
- 6:37to keep Bill Bao out and hold on to a
- 6:40nil nil draw. But it is still a slight
- 6:42concern that off the back of those
- 6:43backto-back defeats, only two attempts
- 6:46on goal from 35% possession in the
- 6:48match, they're going to need a serious
- 6:50step up in this game if they're going to
- 6:52stand any chance of getting anything
- 6:53against Atletico Madrid here. As for the
- 6:56away side, I think the only
- 6:57disappointment from their gameweek seven
- 6:59game against Real Madrid is that the
- 7:01score line was only two goals to one cuz
- 7:03they really should have won it by an
- 7:05awful lot more. To be fair, the first
- 7:07half was a bit of a non-event, but it
- 7:09all came to life in the second half when
- 7:10Giuliano Simeone was brought down in the
- 7:13penalty area, giving Real Madrid a red
- 7:16card as well. Gronaldo stepped up and
- 7:18converted it 5 minutes later. Jonathan
- 7:20David made it to a very good day for
- 7:22Atletico's new signings. But despite
- 7:24plenty more opportunities from that
- 7:26point onwards, they weren't able to
- 7:28extend that lead and even got pegged
- 7:30back in the final 5 minutes. But it
- 7:32wasn't enough to stop Atletico Madrid
- 7:34making it back-to- back home wins in the
- 7:36Madrid derby and three wins in a row in
- 7:38La Liga. Surely they are the favorites
- 7:40for this match. In terms of the team
- 7:43news, there is an international issue a
- 7:45piece coming out of the break as Kosski
- 7:47is going to be out for Alves following
- 7:49his injury and Grimaldo despite not
- 7:51actually playing in the international
- 7:53break did pick up an injury on his camp
- 7:56and is going to be out for this match.
- 7:58Alves to be fair to them actually have a
- 8:00great home record against Atletico
- 8:02Madrid being unbeaten here in the last
- 8:04four seasons with the last two meetings
- 8:06on this ground ending in draws. However,
- 8:09the form that these two sides were in
- 8:11prior to the international break, it
- 8:13stands to reason that Atletico Madrid
- 8:14are going to break that streak here and
- 8:16get their first win in five seasons. And
- 8:19that's exactly what I'm going for here.
- 8:21I'm going for a two-nil win to Atletico
- 8:24Madrid. Now, to the is it too early to
- 8:28say this already runaway leaders of La
- 8:31Liga Barcelona as they're going to be
- 8:32taking on Hetafe in the penultimate game
- 8:35on Saturday. For Barcelona, they have
- 8:37simply won every single game so far this
- 8:40season and went into the international
- 8:41break with a 3-1 away win to Sevilla
- 8:44thanks to a second consecutive hattick
- 8:47from Rafinia who unsurprisingly also
- 8:49took the La Liga player of the month.
- 8:51They did actually fall behind in the
- 8:53match. They failed to deal with a run
- 8:54from midfield, but it was almost like
- 8:56that goal sort of snapped them into life
- 8:58cuz Rafinia got his first a few minutes
- 9:00later and they went on to absolutely
- 9:02dominate the game and run away with it
- 9:04three goals to one. Andy ended up being
- 9:05a perfect hattick from Rafinia. Right
- 9:08foot then header then left foot and it
- 9:10is 21 points and a 21 for them going
- 9:13into part two of this La Liga season.
- 9:16Standing in their way this weekend will
- 9:18be a Hafe side who left it very late to
- 9:21get a 1-nil home win against Malaga
- 9:23before the break. But that goal was well
- 9:25worth the wait when Ajon picked the ball
- 9:27up on the right hand side. Nutmeg the
- 9:29Malaga defender. Held off the Malaga
- 9:31center back and then nutmeged the Malaga
- 9:33goalkeeper as well to get the winner.
- 9:35They did ride their luck at times as
- 9:37well as Malaga did have a goal. This
- 9:39allowed earlier in the match for
- 9:40offside. But on the balance of the
- 9:42chances created, I think it was the
- 9:44right result that Gafe ended up winning
- 9:46that match. However, in my opinion,
- 9:48they're going to need even an absolutely
- 9:50awful lot more if they stand any chance
- 9:52of stopping the lead liers here. In
- 9:55terms of the team news, there is some
- 9:57doubt over Rafinia after picking up an
- 9:59injury for Brazil over the international
- 10:01break. Joan Garcia is also expected to
- 10:03be out in goal for them, which means
- 10:05that Levakovic will be returning for
- 10:07them. Satriano picked up a knock during
- 10:09international duty for Uruguay and he is
- 10:11going to be a doubt for the away side.
- 10:14Unsurprisingly, Barcelona have won the
- 10:16last eight meetings on this ground
- 10:17between these two sides and the last 11
- 10:21between these sides in all competitions.
- 10:23Have to imagine that both of those runs
- 10:25are going to be extended here. I'm going
- 10:28for a 4nil win to Barcelona. The final
- 10:32game on Saturday then sees Real Madrid
- 10:35hosting Villa Royale in what is a battle
- 10:36of last year's second place and third
- 10:39place sides from La Liga. Real Madrid
- 10:41actually come into this down in fourth
- 10:43after what was quite frankly a disaster
- 10:45for them in the Madrid derby after a
- 10:48pretty poor first half. It was then Dean
- 10:50Hoen who completely blew this game up
- 10:52when he dragged down the Atletico Madrid
- 10:54forward in the penalty area. penalty
- 10:57definitely a red card as well because he
- 10:58wasn't making any attempt to play the
- 11:00ball and then after going one nil down
- 11:02from the penalty failure to adapt to
- 11:04going down to 10 men then meant they
- 11:05ended up going 2-0 down and they were
- 11:08very lucky it didn't end up being the
- 11:09five that they conceded at last season
- 11:13Rüiger was able to pull a goal back late
- 11:15on for them following a free kick but
- 11:17ultimately it was not enough to stop
- 11:19them suffering back-to- back away
- 11:21defeats in the Madrid derby and they're
- 11:23already now six points behind Barcelona
- 11:25in the La Liga title race. They have
- 11:27though won all three of their home
- 11:29matches so far this season. As for Villa
- 11:32Royale, after no win in their opening
- 11:34five fixtures, it's actually backto back
- 11:36wins for them. And that's already seen
- 11:38them jump all the way from the
- 11:39relegation zone up to ninth place. And
- 11:42their most recent match saw them
- 11:43completely dominate Levante. Now, I
- 11:46don't normally talk about XG cuz I think
- 11:47it's a stupid stat, but V Royale had 4.3
- 11:51xG to Levante's 0.4. They will actually
- 11:54probably be a little bit disappointed
- 11:56that it only ended up being the 3-1
- 11:58victory, but it was all thanks to a
- 11:59great performance from Malero who picked
- 12:01up a goal as well as the other two
- 12:03assists. A perfect confidence boost they
- 12:05needed ahead of such a big game.
- 12:07Although will that 3-we break have cost
- 12:09that momentum? In terms of the team
- 12:12news, Dean Hoisen obviously is going to
- 12:13be suspended for Real Madrid, who could
- 12:16also be without all of the following.
- 12:17Canate, Valverde, and Mbappe, who all
- 12:20picked up various issues over the course
- 12:22of the last few weeks. Only Taan
- 12:24Buchanan is going to be out for V
- 12:26Royale. So, there really is an
- 12:27opportunity for them to strike here. The
- 12:30last two seasons, Real Madrid have won
- 12:32both home and away in this fixture and
- 12:34are actually unbeaten in all meetings
- 12:36between these two sides since 2023.
- 12:39Personally, I do think that run is going
- 12:41to continue, but if all of those big
- 12:43stars are missing for the home side,
- 12:45this could end up being a very close
- 12:47one. I'm going for a 21 win to Real
- 12:51Madrid. The opening game on Sunday comes
- 12:53from Elchce and it sees two sides who
- 12:55seriously struggled in the opening part
- 12:57of the season in Elchce and Seltviggo. I
- 13:00say they both struggled. They actually
- 13:02both ended up getting their first wins
- 13:04of the La Liga season in the final game
- 13:06before the international break. And for
- 13:08Elchce, it was without doubt their best
- 13:11performance of the season so far. It
- 13:13started off in the worst possible
- 13:15fashion when Roondo was sent off in
- 13:17literally the third minute of the match
- 13:19following a V review. away to Espanol.
- 13:22But a very resolute defensive
- 13:24performance from that point onwards and
- 13:26some brilliant counterattacking meant
- 13:28that Nino was able to score twice before
- 13:30Espanol got a goal. So 10 men 2-0 up and
- 13:33then a third from Varela to secure the
- 13:36victory after Espanol did grab one back.
- 13:38It was purely and simply the most
- 13:40unlikely of 3-1 away wins. Again, a
- 13:43reminder LJ had the worst away record in
- 13:46La Liga last season. They've gone and
- 13:48picked up a 3-1 away win with 10 men in
- 13:51gameweek seven. So, a massive
- 13:53achievement for them. Weirdly for
- 13:55Seltoviggo, they also had by far their
- 13:58best performance of their campaign so
- 14:00far as they won 5-nil at home to Rasing
- 14:03Santandere, which also weirdly means
- 14:05that considering they had three draws in
- 14:07a row before that first win, they're
- 14:09actually now four games unbeaten in La
- 14:11Liga. goals from Gonzalez, Moria, Roman,
- 14:14and then two from Giran to seal it means
- 14:17that they have now scored more goals in
- 14:19that one game than they did in their
- 14:21opening six fictions. And surely that's
- 14:23a big bill of confidence for them
- 14:25heading into a side that did struggle to
- 14:27compete last season. In terms of the
- 14:29team news, unsurprisingly, Rodondo is
- 14:31going to be suspended for Elchce, but
- 14:33Zangare is out with injury as well. Fair
- 14:36few issues for Celtiggo coming out the
- 14:38international break as Starfeld and
- 14:40Casares both picked up injuries during
- 14:42the course of the international break
- 14:43and it looks like Roman and Thiago Aspas
- 14:45have not recovered from their injuries
- 14:47that they suffered prior to the
- 14:49international break last season. Both
- 14:51sides ended up getting the win at home
- 14:53with the inconsistency of these two
- 14:55sides prior to the international break.
- 14:58This really could be anything. You'd
- 15:00probably say that if Selto are back to
- 15:02their best, they are the favorites to
- 15:04take this game. But honestly, I can't
- 15:06split these two right now cuz they've
- 15:08been both been so all over the place in
- 15:10these opening parts of the season. But
- 15:11I'm just going to go for a high-scoring
- 15:13draw. And I'm going to go for 2-2
- 15:15between Elchce and Selta Viggo. Game two
- 15:19on Sunday is another real intriguing one
- 15:21as we have Real Sociad taking on
- 15:23Deportivo Akarunia. eighth versus seven
- 15:26in the league and the only two teams in
- 15:28the division that have 10 points from
- 15:30the opening seven games with Deortivo
- 15:32just ahead of Sashiad on goal
- 15:35difference. That being said, it's going
- 15:36to be the home side that come into this
- 15:38one with the momentum on their side as
- 15:40they won 3-2 away to Valencia in
- 15:42gameweek seven in what was a real back
- 15:44andforth match. At no point was Sashiad
- 15:47actually behind in the match though. But
- 15:48the first two times they went ahead
- 15:50through Sukic and Sole, they were then
- 15:53pulled back and then in stoppage time
- 15:5591st minute of the match, a corner
- 15:56routine found its way to Bernett Chaya
- 15:59and he absolutely
- 16:01smashed it into the near post in the top
- 16:03corner. It's an absolutely outstanding
- 16:05finish and it secured them the victory.
- 16:07But the defending on both goals that
- 16:09they disinced is very questionable and
- 16:12realistically either side could have
- 16:13ended up winning that match in the final
- 16:1510 minutes. As for Deportivo, it's now
- 16:18actually three games without a win for
- 16:20them, but they did get their fourth draw
- 16:22in seven La Liga matches at home to Real
- 16:24Betis in gameweek seven. So to be fair,
- 16:27that's still a pretty damn good result
- 16:29as far as I'm concerned. But they won't
- 16:30be happy with the goal that they
- 16:31conceded in the match as it was some
- 16:33very sloppy playing out from the back
- 16:35which gave the ball away allowing rail
- 16:37betters to go 1 nil ahead. But you've
- 16:39got to give them credit. They stayed in
- 16:41the game at 1 nil down. They started
- 16:43creating more and more chances and then
- 16:45when everyone got distracted by
- 16:46Aubameyang the ball found its way to the
- 16:49back post and there was who flew in at
- 16:51the back post and marked ahead Deportivo
- 16:53level. But on the balance of the
- 16:55chances, it's probably fair to say they
- 16:57were actually quite unlucky not to win
- 16:58the match. With both sides on somewhat
- 17:00decent form, we could be in for another
- 17:02good game here. In terms of the team
- 17:05news, it's all about strikers missing
- 17:07for this game as Oscar, who was so good
- 17:10for Iceland over the course of the
- 17:11international break, was actually sent
- 17:12off late on against Valencia. So, he is
- 17:15going to be suspended. It's even worse
- 17:17news for Deportivo though, as top scorer
- 17:19Aubameyang is going to be out for at
- 17:20least a month with a meniscus problem.
- 17:23So he is likely going to miss every
- 17:24single game until the next international
- 17:27break. In terms of the head-to-head,
- 17:28there's been no meeting between these
- 17:30two sides since 2018, but it should
- 17:32probably still be noted that Sashiad
- 17:34have won all of the last three meetings
- 17:35between these two sides. Personally, I
- 17:38do think this one is going to be four in
- 17:39a row, especially with Aubameyang now
- 17:42out injured for the away side. But don't
- 17:44rule out Deportivo making it five draws
- 17:46in eight La Liga matches. I'm going for
- 17:48Sauciad though and I'm going for a 21
- 17:51win for them. Penultimate game on Sunday
- 17:55for you now then and it is Rail Betis
- 17:57hosting Osuna in what is a battle of
- 17:59third versus 13th for the home side. All
- 18:02the real key moments in the game kind of
- 18:04centered around Cucho Hernandez against
- 18:06Deportivo because he was the man who got
- 18:08them ahead after winning the ball back
- 18:10from a defensive mixup and putting the
- 18:12ball into the back of the net. But then
- 18:14in my opinion he was incredibly lucky
- 18:17not to get sent off for quite literally
- 18:19kicking a Deportivo player in the head.
- 18:21It went to V. The V said referee come
- 18:25and send this player off. The referee
- 18:27stuck with his onfield decision not to
- 18:29send him off which I think was a
- 18:30completely wrong decision. Nevertheless,
- 18:32even with 11 versus 11, they did then
- 18:34take a bit of a battering from Depotivo
- 18:37in the second half. In the final five
- 18:38minutes of the match, their resistance
- 18:40run out as they left the Depo midfielder
- 18:42completely unmarked at the back post and
- 18:441-1 is how it finished. That does mean
- 18:46though that they remain unbeaten in
- 18:48their last four league matches. But it
- 18:49does also end their threeame winning
- 18:52streak. As for Rosasuna, they made a
- 18:54bright start to their game against Rya
- 18:56Viao as their main man Buddir scored yet
- 18:59another goal with a brilliant chest up
- 19:01spin and volley into the top corner of
- 19:03the net. That unfortunately though was
- 19:05as good as it got for them as they ended
- 19:07up failing to create any other
- 19:08significant moments from that 15th
- 19:11minute goal and then it was sloppy
- 19:12playing out from the back that ended up
- 19:14costing them as Osbella ended up giving
- 19:16it away allowing Viaano through on goal
- 19:19to make it 1-1. But even though it was
- 19:21only a point for them that it did end
- 19:23their three-game losing streak but all
- 19:25those things combined does stand to
- 19:27reason that Raal Bettis are massive
- 19:29favorites for this match. In terms of
- 19:31the team news, Mark Bartra is going to
- 19:33be a doubt for Betis after picking up a
- 19:34hamstring injury prior to the
- 19:36international break. All of the
- 19:38Castillo, Munos, and Morrow are likely
- 19:40to miss for the away side after all
- 19:42picking up injuries in the viao game and
- 19:44are yet to recover. Rail Betis are
- 19:47unbeaten in the last six meetings home
- 19:49and away against Osuna and won here last
- 19:52season as well. No reason not to go for
- 19:54them to get another victory this season
- 19:56as well. I'm going for a twomon victory
- 20:00to rail bettis which takes us to the
- 20:03final game on Sunday and the penultimate
- 20:05game of the weekend and it is Rasing
- 20:06Santandere taking on Valencia 16th
- 20:09versus 19th in the table and Rasing are
- 20:12now the side that have the most goals
- 20:13conceded in La Liga so far this season
- 20:16and they're going to be taking on the
- 20:17side that has lost the most games in La
- 20:20Liga so far this season with both of
- 20:22those sides really adding to those
- 20:24tallies in gameweek seven for Rasing
- 20:26they got absolut absolutely hammered
- 20:28once again at the hands of Seltoviggo,
- 20:30conceding five goals in the match
- 20:32without reply, which actually means they
- 20:34have conceded 12 goals in their last two
- 20:37matches after also losing 7-2 to
- 20:40Barcelona. So really not a good look for
- 20:42them in that regard, but they do come
- 20:44into this unbeaten and winning their
- 20:46last two home games. As for Valencia,
- 20:49they were unable to back up their first
- 20:51win of the season in gameweek seven, but
- 20:52they certainly gave it a hell of a go
- 20:54against Real Sociad. That being said, at
- 20:57no point in the game were they in front
- 20:58as they ended up falling behind on three
- 21:00separate occasions. To be fair, they
- 21:02pulled it back level through May and an
- 21:04own goal when they went 1-0 and 2-1
- 21:06down. But again, lacks the
- 21:08concentration. Sloppy defending from a
- 21:10corner allowed Rail Siad to get their
- 21:13winner. And unfortunately for Valencia,
- 21:15it is five defeats from seven La Liga
- 21:18matches so far this season. In terms of
- 21:21the team news, no fresh concerns for the
- 21:23home side, but Valencia have four
- 21:25potential injuries from the Sociad game
- 21:27that are yet to recover and those are
- 21:29Rodriguez, a Torby Roa and Arnell
- 21:31Danjuma. So, if all of those players are
- 21:34out, could be a tough ask for them once
- 21:36again. This is the first meeting between
- 21:38these two sides since 2012, so we
- 21:41definitely can't read anything into
- 21:43those results from so long ago.
- 21:45Honestly, my best prediction for this
- 21:47match is goals. Between the two sides,
- 21:49they have scored 15 and conceded 34 from
- 21:53their respective seven matches so far
- 21:55this season. Based on the current home
- 21:57form versus the current away form, I
- 22:00think Rasing Santandere are going to
- 22:01take the victory. But after better
- 22:03performances from Valencia in the past
- 22:04few games, maybe they stand a good
- 22:06chance as well. I'm though going for a
- 22:0932 win to Rasing Santandere. And then
- 22:12finally, the Monday night football comes
- 22:14from Levante as the side currently down
- 22:15in 17th place in La Liga host a side all
- 22:18the way up in fifth in Sevilla. Now
- 22:21don't let the 17th place completely fool
- 22:23you when it comes to Levante cuz they
- 22:25are the other half of that rained off
- 22:27fixtures. They do still have a game in
- 22:29hand which if they win would actually
- 22:31put them ninth in terms of points, but
- 22:33they do still come into this off the
- 22:35back of back-to-back defeats and they
- 22:37were completely outmatched against Villa
- 22:39Royale back in gameweek 7. And that only
- 22:41sort of real moment of quality in the
- 22:43match came just seconds after they went
- 22:461- nil down when Ivan Romero's overhead
- 22:48kick got them level. But in the second
- 22:50half, they really didn't get anything
- 22:52going for them and they ended up getting
- 22:54slaughtered by Villa Royale. It only
- 22:55finished by three goals to one. But if
- 22:57you look at the balance of the chances,
- 22:59it probably could have ended up being
- 23:00five or six or potentially even more. So
- 23:03credit to their defense that it didn't
- 23:04end up being any worse than it actually
- 23:06was. As for Sevilla, well, they were
- 23:09also outmatched in a 3-1 defeat, but
- 23:11they gave it a hell of a go against
- 23:13Barcelona in gameweek seven. They
- 23:15actually went ahead in the match when
- 23:16Fana got himself in the box and headed
- 23:19past the Barcelona goalkeeper. But that
- 23:20just sparked Barcelona into life. And
- 23:22look, I'm sure that the Sevilla
- 23:24goalkeeper and defense won't be the last
- 23:27to fall for Rafini's fake shots this
- 23:29season, but you know, fool me once and
- 23:30all that. He did literally score all
- 23:32three goals by dropping someone to the
- 23:34floor with a fake shot. So, I don't
- 23:36think they can be too damn hard with
- 23:37that because look, they only lost by
- 23:38three goals to one. Some of these tires
- 23:40have taken real batterings from
- 23:41Barcelona this season and they also are
- 23:43still in fifth place in the table and
- 23:45they're still second in terms of away
- 23:47form so far this season. So, they're
- 23:49going to be very confident that they can
- 23:50get the victory here. In terms of the
- 23:52team news, technically there are no
- 23:54fresh issues for either side, but Marau
- 23:57did return for Sevilla in a friendly
- 23:59during the international break which
- 24:00seemed to then reaggerate his muscular
- 24:03injury. So he is likely to miss this
- 24:05game once again. Last season this
- 24:07fixture was all about Levante. A 3-0
- 24:10away win in Sevilla and a 2-nil win at
- 24:13home. After the start that these sides
- 24:15have made and yes, I'm still taking into
- 24:17account that Levante have a game in
- 24:19hand. I still think that Sevilla are the
- 24:22side that are going to come away with
- 24:23the victory this time around. They've
- 24:24played some good football so far this
- 24:26season. If they can back that up into
- 24:28part two, I think they should be more
- 24:30than enough to beat Levante here. I'm
- 24:32going for a 2-1 win to Sevilla to round
- 24:35off this weekend. That is going to be it
- 24:38then for the return of La Liga this
- 24:40weekend. As always, a massive thank you
- 24:42very much for watching. Before I leave
- 24:44you, let's see what you guys have been
- 24:46voting for over on the community page
- 24:48regarding these 10 fixtures you have
- 24:50gone for the following. The majority
- 24:53think that Espanol are going to get the
- 24:54win away to bottom side. Malaga very
- 24:57close between Viao and Bill Ba. Nobody
- 24:59thinks it's going to be a draw, but 53%
- 25:02Bill Bao and 47% viao. An awful lot of
- 25:05you think that Atletico Madrid are going
- 25:06to win away at Alves. I think it's the
- 25:08first time we've seen this this season.
- 25:11100% of you think Barcelona are going to
- 25:14beat Hafe. Basically, everyone thinks
- 25:16Real Madrid are going to beat Villa
- 25:17Royale. Again, somewhat close to Viggo,
- 25:20but the majority have gone for
- 25:21Seltoviggo. The majority think that
- 25:22Sausad are going to beat Deportivo.
- 25:24Basically, everyone thinks Real Bettis
- 25:26are going to be Osuna. The majority
- 25:27think that Valencia are going to win
- 25:29away at Rasing and the majority think
- 25:31that Sevilla are going to win away to
- 25:33Levante. A reminder to you all right now
- 25:35that if you head over to the community
- 25:37page at any point over the course of the
- 25:38next few days, Champions League, Europa
- 25:40League, and Conference League
- 25:42predictions are going to be posted so
- 25:43you can have your votes on all of those
- 25:46matches. And once again, a massive thank
- 25:48you very much for watching. Club
- 25:50football is back once again. Premier
- 25:51League video coming for you in just an
- 25:53hour's time. So, a final thank you very
- 25:55much for watching once again. I'll see
- 25:57you very very
