My FAVORITE Way to Make SILVER in Albion Online — Transcript

- 0:00One of my favorite ways to make silver
- 0:01in Albine online is buying items for
- 0:03cheap and selling them to this black
- 0:05market NPC for a profit. And the best
- 0:07part is that you don't need any crafting
- 0:09specs, gathering skills, or expensive
- 0:11equipment to get started. For this
- 0:13video, I completed four different black
- 0:14market flipping runs. Three from
- 0:16Brazilian and one from Fort Sterling. I
- 0:19will show you exactly how this method
- 0:20works, what items I look for, how much
- 0:22silver you can make, and most
- 0:23importantly, how to avoid losing your
- 0:25silver. Because finding profitable items
- 0:27is only half the challenge. you still
- 0:29need to get them safely to the black
- 0:31market. First, let's understand how the
- 0:34black market actually works. If you have
- 0:35never used it before, the black market
- 0:37is a special NPC located in Carleon.
- 0:39Unlike regular market places where you
- 0:41buy and sell items to other players, the
- 0:44black market buys equipment from players
- 0:45to help supply the game's loot system.
- 0:47And that's actually where a lot of the
- 0:48equipment you find from killing mobs and
- 0:50opening chests comes from. Players sell
- 0:52items to the black market, and those
- 0:54items can eventually become loot for
- 0:56other players. And here's the important
- 0:58part. The black market has its own
- 1:00demand for different items and its
- 1:02prices change over time. Sometimes an
- 1:04item that costs 500k silver in a regular
- 1:07marketplace might sell for 800k silver
- 1:09at the black market. And that's creates
- 1:11an opportunity for us. We can buy that
- 1:13item for 500k transported to Carlo and
- 1:15sell it for 800k. That's a potential
- 1:17300k silver from just one item obviously
- 1:20before taxes and other expenses. And now
- 1:22imagine that doing with bunch of
- 1:24different items. Of course, not every
- 1:25item will be profitable, and that's
- 1:27where knowing what to look for becomes
- 1:29important.
- 1:30So, how do you actually get started? The
- 1:32entire process is pretty simple. First,
- 1:34you find an item that's cheaper in a
- 1:36regular marketplace than what the black
- 1:37market is willing to pay for it. For
- 1:39example, let's say we find that here six
- 1:41weapons selling for 100k silver in for
- 1:43Stalin. Then, we check the black market
- 1:45and see that it's willing to pay 140k
- 1:47silver for exactly the same weapon. That
- 1:49gives us potential 40k silver profit
- 1:51before expenses. We buy the weapon,
- 1:53transport it to Carleon, and sell it.
- 1:55That's basically it. But there are a few
- 1:57things you need to pay attention to.
- 1:58First, make sure you are comparing
- 2:00exactly the same item, tier,
- 2:02enchantment, and quality. All of that
- 2:04matters. For example, a normal quality
- 2:06weapon, an excellent quality weapon can
- 2:07have completely different prices. And
- 2:09secondly, pay attention to how many
- 2:10items the black market is actually
- 2:12buying. Just because one item has a
- 2:14great price doesn't mean you can sell 20
- 2:16of them for that same price. You need to
- 2:18check the available buy orders and
- 2:19quantities. And third, remember that
- 2:21black market prices change constantly.
- 2:24An item might be profitable when you buy
- 2:26it, but someone else could sell theirs
- 2:28before you arrive. And in that case, you
- 2:29can also use set orders instead of
- 2:31sudden instantly. But that means waiting
- 2:33for the black market to purchase your
- 2:34items. And don't forget about
- 2:36marketplace taxes and order fees. Always
- 2:38calculate your profit after the relevant
- 2:40expenses, not just the difference
- 2:42between buying and selling prices.
- 2:45Now that you understand how the black
- 2:46market works, let me explain how I
- 2:48personally approach flipping. There are
- 2:50thousands of different items in Albine
- 2:52online, but that doesn't mean every item
- 2:54is worth buying. Some items have better
- 2:55profit margins, some sell faster, and
- 2:58others might look profitable, but take a
- 2:59very long time to sell. Personally, I
- 3:01prefer higher tier items because I don't
- 3:03want to carry more than 10 to 12 items
- 3:06per run. This allows me to use a simple
- 3:08transport mount instead of something
- 3:09expensive. And I don't really focus on
- 3:11specific items. Instead, I usually look
- 3:13through a few different categories and
- 3:15enchantment levels. Most of the time, I
- 3:16am looking for tier 7.1, 7.2, 2 and 8.1
- 3:20items. I compare their prices in
- 3:22Brazilian with the black market prices
- 3:24and look for profitable opportunities.
- 3:25[music] And like I said, I only focus on
- 3:27few categories for each run so I can
- 3:29find enough profitable items and get
- 3:31moving as quickly as possible because
- 3:33remember other players are also selling
- 3:34items to the black market. And the
- 3:36longer you spend searching, the higher
- 3:38the chance that someone else fills those
- 3:40profitable buy orders before you arrive.
- 3:42Now, when it comes to transporting,
- 3:44there is one trick I really like to use,
- 3:46and that's the fashion transport NPC.
- 3:48Before starting my journey, I always
- 3:50check whether I can use it to travel to
- 3:52a map closer to Carleon. If there is a
- 3:54good option available, it can save me
- 3:55quite a bit of traveling time. And after
- 3:57I use it, I remove my faction flex so I
- 3:59don't have to worry about fighting
- 4:00players from other factions. And so I
- 4:02can enter Carleon.
- 4:04And my skill transport setup is a little
- 4:06different from what you might expect.
- 4:08Earlier I mentioned that I prefer
- 4:09carrying around 10 to 12 items per run.
- 4:12And the main reason is to keep my carry
- 4:14weight low enough that I don't need an
- 4:15expensive transport mount. I actually
- 4:17use a regular tier four horse with a
- 4:19cheap tier 4 or 4.1 escape set. Nothing
- 4:22fancy. I prefer keeping a low profile
- 4:24instead of riding around on an expensive
- 4:26mount that might attract unnecessary
- 4:27attention. My entire transport setup
- 4:29costs around 150k silver, even though I
- 4:32am carrying items worth several
- 4:34millions. Of course, whether you want to
- 4:36take this approach is completely up to
- 4:37you, but so far it's been working pretty
- 4:39well for me. Another thing I recommend
- 4:41is doing these transports during quieter
- 4:43hours if possible. The fewer ganking
- 4:45groups you encounter, the better. As for
- 4:47the equipment, here is what I'm using.
- 4:49Soldier helmet, assassin jacket, minor
- 4:51boots, carving sword, forest styling
- 4:53cape, invisibility potions, beef
- 4:55sandwich, and tier four horse. It's a
- 4:57relatively cheap setup that gives me
- 4:58several options to escape if I run into
- 5:00trouble. And if you would like to see
- 5:01more detailed video about escape sets,
- 5:04including different equipment and mount
- 5:05options, let me know in the comments.
- 5:07Now that you know which items I look for
- 5:09and how I transport them, let's get into
- 5:11the actual flipping runs and see how
- 5:12much silver we can make. One more thing
- 5:14I want to mention is you don't need
- 5:16millions of silver to try black market
- 5:18Philippi and I definitely recommend
- 5:19starting with a smaller budget because
- 5:21remember Carleon is surrounded by red
- 5:23zones and transporting items there comes
- 5:25with risks. If you get killed, you can
- 5:27lose your entire inventory. So don't
- 5:29invest all your silver into one
- 5:30transport, especially when you are just
- 5:32getting started. You can always increase
- 5:34your budget as you get more comfortable
- 5:35with the method. Now, this time, let's
- 5:37get into the shield flipping runs.
- 5:40So, for my first run, I started in
- 5:42Brazilian. The plan was pretty simple.
- 5:44Buy a bunch of profitable items,
- 5:45transport them to Caron, and sell
- 5:47everything to the black market. I spent
- 5:49around 4.1 million silver on this first
- 5:51batch. And as you can see, I didn't just
- 5:53buy one particular item. Instead, I
- 5:55picked different items that looked
- 5:56profitable. The nice thing about doing
- 5:58this is that you don't have to rely on
- 6:00one single item having a great price.
- 6:02And now comes the interesting part. We
- 6:03actually need to get these items to
- 6:05Carleon. And depending on how much
- 6:06silver you are carrying, this can be a
- 6:08little stressful because if you get
- 6:10killed, all potential profit is gone,
- 6:12including our investment at the first
- 6:14place. Well, we made it. Now, it's time
- 6:15to see whether these items are still
- 6:17profitable. And after selling
- 6:18everything, I ended up with 1.3 million
- 6:20silver in profit after expenses. By the
- 6:23way, sometimes buy orders are gone when
- 6:25you arrive at black market. So, in that
- 6:27case, you just create sell orders.
- 6:29Usually, they sell within few hours.
- 6:31Sometimes it can take longer, but they
- 6:33always sell. And this run took like 15
- 6:35minutes of game play, but let's see if
- 6:37we can do even better.
- 6:39For my second run, I went back to
- 6:41Brazilian and started looking for more
- 6:43profitable items. And here's something
- 6:45important to remember. Just because an
- 6:47item was profitable during your previous
- 6:49run doesn't mean it's still worth
- 6:50buying. Prices constantly change. So,
- 6:52you always need to check the current
- 6:54prices instead of blindly buying the
- 6:56same items again. So, for this run, I
- 6:58invested another 4.4 million silver.
- 7:00After reaching Carleon and selling
- 7:02everything, I ended up making 1.4
- 7:04million silver. So that's two successful
- 7:06runs. And again, this run took 15
- 7:08minutes as well. And since things were
- 7:11going pretty well, I decided to do one
- 7:13more run from Brazilian. This time I
- 7:15only wanted to buy 7.1 chest armors and
- 7:18the profit margins were not too good. So
- 7:20this one is going to earn us less profit
- 7:22even though we have invested 5 million
- 7:24silver. And while transporting, I saw a
- 7:26Scott waiting while the map had four
- 7:28fleck players. So that didn't look good,
- 7:30but I kept going and short after gankers
- 7:33showed up. And at this point, going to
- 7:34the next map would be a death sentence
- 7:36because they're on wayf facs. So I
- 7:38baited one to go to the next map and
- 7:40turned around. And I kept running
- 7:42towards the yellow zone and he let me go
- 7:44at some point. I'm pretty sure if I had
- 7:45more expensive escape set and mounts,
- 7:47they would be a lot more aggressive
- 7:49about catching me. That's why I like my
- 7:51set quite a lot. And after waiting few
- 7:53minutes in the yellow zone, I tried
- 7:54again and they were not around. So I
- 7:56reached Carleon. And after selling
- 7:57everything, our third run ended with
- 7:59only 800k silver. That was because of my
- 8:01poor item choices, but it is still a
- 8:03decent profit. And because of the
- 8:05gankers, I spent 20 minutes for this run
- 8:07instead of our regular 15 minutes. Now,
- 8:09I also wanted to try this same method
- 8:11from a regular royal city. So, for my
- 8:14fourth and final run, I decided to start
- 8:16from Fort Stalin instead. And the nice
- 8:18thing about the black market flippin is
- 8:20that you can do this from different
- 8:21cities. You don't have to start in
- 8:23Brazilian. Every marketplace has
- 8:24different prices and available items. So
- 8:26sometimes you might find better
- 8:28opportunities in one city compared to
- 8:30another. So I started checking different
- 8:32items and ended up spending 6.9 million
- 8:34silver and this iron catch staff alone
- 8:36will make me around 350k silver for
- 8:39example. And with everything purchased
- 8:40it was time to travel to Carleon. This
- 8:42time no one was on the way. So it was a
- 8:44very safe trip. I made 1.1 million
- 8:46silver from this run which took like 10
- 8:48minutes to complete which brings our
- 8:50total profit from all four runs to 4.6
- 8:53million silver. If you calculate the
- 8:54transporting fees we pay from Brazilian
- 8:56to for stallion and faction transport
- 8:58MPC fees, we can say that we made like
- 9:004.2 million silver. I transport my
- 9:02escape sets to a royal city and sell
- 9:04them later. So I don't count them as
- 9:06expenses. And if you look at how much
- 9:08time we actually spent buying,
- 9:09transporting, and selling these items,
- 9:11that's a pretty decent way to make
- 9:12silver. I mean, 4.2 million silver in
- 9:14around 1 hour is really good, especially
- 9:17considering we didn't need to level up
- 9:18any crafting or gathering skills. But
- 9:20there is one more thing I haven't talked
- 9:22about yet.
- 9:23Now, one of the biggest problems with
- 9:25black market flipping is finding
- 9:26profitable items in the first place.
- 9:28Because while the method itself is
- 9:30pretty simple, manually checking
- 9:31hundreds of different items can take a
- 9:33lot of time. And you also need to
- 9:35account for taxes, available quantities,
- 9:37and constantly changing prices. You can
- 9:39absolutely do all of this manually. But
- 9:41personally, I wanted to make the process
- 9:43much easier. So, I built a tool for my
- 9:45website, habonist.com, called private
- 9:47flips. And this is actually what I used
- 9:49to find the items for all four runs in
- 9:51this video. Instead of manually
- 9:53comparing prices for hundreds of
- 9:54different items, private flips help me
- 9:56find potential opportunities using live
- 9:58market data. I can choose my budget,
- 10:00filter items based on their potential
- 10:02profit and return on investment, and
- 10:04check how recently their prices were
- 10:06updated. The tool also calculates
- 10:07estimated profit after the relevant
- 10:09market fees, but remember these profits
- 10:11[music] are estimates. Prices can
- 10:13change, orders can get filled, and you
- 10:15still need to transport everything
- 10:16yourself. And another feature I really
- 10:18like is the profit tracking. Once I buy
- 10:20an item, I can start tracking that flip.
- 10:22And when I sell it, I can record the
- 10:23sale and see how much profit I actually
- 10:25made. So I can keep track of my
- 10:27purchases, sales, and overall results
- 10:29without doing all the calculations
- 10:30manually. So private flips is available
- 10:32to my YouTube channel members on
- 10:34habonist.com as a small thank you. If
- 10:36you like to support the channel and use
- 10:38the same tool as I used in this video,
- 10:40you can check it out through the link in
- 10:41the description. And of course, you can
- 10:43also find my other Albine online tools
- 10:44and builds there. So after four
- 10:47different black market flipping runs,
- 10:49here's what we ended up with. Three runs
- 10:50from Brazilian, one from Fort Sterling,
- 10:52and total profit of 4.2 million silver.
- 10:55All of that from simply buying items at
- 10:57regular marketplaces and selling them to
- 10:59the black market. And that's why this is
- 11:00one of my favorite ways to make silver
- 11:02in Albian online. You don't need any
- 11:03gathering or crafting specs [music] and
- 11:05you can get started with a relatively
- 11:06small amount of silver. Just remember
- 11:08that there are always risks involved.
- 11:10Prices can change, items might take time
- 11:12to sell, and you can lose everything you
- 11:14are transporting if you get killed. So
- 11:16start small, learn the process, and
- 11:17don't take unnecessary risks. And now I
- 11:19am curious. Have you ever tried black
- 11:21market flipping or do you prefer another
- 11:23way of making silver? Let me know in the
- 11:24comments. And if you found this video
- 11:26helpful, don't forget to leave a like
- 11:27and subscribe for more Albian Online
- 11:29content. Other than that, thanks for
- 11:30tuning in and take
