- 0:40are now up for all of the remaining
- 0:43videos we are going to be doing over the
- 0:45course of the next few days in Europe.
- 0:46And then once those are all over, we'll
- 0:48once again have Premier League and La
- 0:51Liga for you next weekend as well. So,
- 0:53plenty of stuff coming up for you over
- 0:54the next few days on the SO99 channel.
- 0:57As for today though, we have got nine
- 0:59matches to cover in the Champions
- 1:01League. All matches taking place on
- 1:03Tuesday night. So, without any further
- 1:05ado, let's get straight into it. We
- 1:07begin with the first early kickoff
- 1:09coming from Turkey with two sides who
- 1:12massively underperformed last week. Now
- 1:14to be fair, I did predict both of these
- 1:16sides to lose, but not quite to the
- 1:18extent that they did, especially in the
- 1:21case of Fenabach, who lost 6 nil away to
- 1:25Aston Villa. Now, I could sit here and
- 1:27say they didn't help themselves by us
- 1:29giving away a penalty, but when he did
- 1:31that, they were already 3-0 down. And
- 1:34hilariously, if you look at the stats
- 1:36from that game, apart from the score
- 1:38line, it would actually suggest that it
- 1:41was a rather close encounter. However,
- 1:42Aston Villa were absolutely lethal at
- 1:45their end of the pitch while Fenabach
- 1:47were incredibly wasteful at their end.
- 1:49And that means coming into match day
- 1:51three. They have just one point from
- 1:53their opening two games. That is though
- 1:55still one more point than what Slavia
- 1:57Prague has got as they have zero from
- 1:59their first two games. But much like
- 2:01Fenabach last week, they controlled more
- 2:04possession and ended up having more
- 2:06attempts than their Azabaijani hosts
- 2:08last week. But also like Fenabachce,
- 2:10they found themselves incredibly
- 2:12wasteful in front of goal and had up to
- 2:14five big chances missed in the game.
- 2:17They also had two shots on goal cleared
- 2:19off the line. And they were made to pay
- 2:21for all of those missed chances at the
- 2:23start and at the end of the second half
- 2:25as two long-ranged efforts found their
- 2:27way into the net, leaving it a massive
- 2:29uphill task already for Slavia Prague to
- 2:32even make it into the playoffs at the
- 2:34end of this league phase. This weekend,
- 2:36Fenabachce bounced back in the best way
- 2:38possible, winning 3-0il at home to
- 2:40Alaniaspor. Meanwhile, Slavia were once
- 2:43again disappointing as they could only
- 2:45manage a nil nil draw at home to Cryova.
- 2:48In terms of the team news, ahead of our
- 2:50opening game, Marco Asencio remains a
- 2:52doubt for Fenabach. While Slavia could
- 2:55still have up to four players out
- 2:56injured that were all injured on
- 2:58international duty a couple of weeks
- 3:00ago. The last time these two sides met
- 3:02it was in the Europa League two years
- 3:04ago where Fenabache won 2-1 in Prague.
- 3:08Now back at home, this really should be
- 3:10a game that I would expect them to win.
- 3:12I'm starting off with a 2-nil win to
- 3:14Fenabache. The other early kickoff comes
- 3:17from Azabaijan then and we have Sabah
- 3:20hosting Barishia Dortmund with both
- 3:22sides having won their opening home
- 3:24games in the Champions League but sides
- 3:26losing their away games. Last week,
- 3:28Sabah maintained their unbelievable home
- 3:30record in Europe so far this season in
- 3:33what was their first official home game
- 3:35of the tournament. But they were robbed
- 3:36of their initial joy when a first half
- 3:39goal was ruled out for offside. But when
- 3:40their big moments came in the second
- 3:42half, my word were they worth the wait
- 3:44cuz after Paris's goal was ruled out in
- 3:47the first half, hit it was him again
- 3:48whose brilliant strike put them 1 nil
- 3:50ahead. And in the second goal, a 35 yd
- 3:54eterate from Mikkels made it 2-0.
- 3:56Although to be fair there was some
- 3:57horrendous defending around that second
- 3:59goal. I can't sit here and say it was an
- 4:01absolute worldy from 35 yards but still
- 4:04he scored it and he made it an
- 4:05absolutely historic win for the
- 4:07Azabaijani club. And that means if you
- 4:09include the qualifiers it is five home
- 4:12wins out of five for Sabah and now
- 4:14they're going to be taking on Berishia
- 4:16Dortmund who well last week against a
- 4:18side with an outstanding home record in
- 4:21Bodo Glimp they were on the receiving
- 4:23end of a one-nil defeat. And now look,
- 4:26they can use the excuse that they did
- 4:28rotate out the vast majority of their
- 4:30starting lineup, but player for player,
- 4:32in my opinion, they probably still
- 4:34should have won that match. And if you
- 4:35look at the stats, you watch the
- 4:37highlights, it was pretty clear to me
- 4:38that they absolutely did deserve to be
- 4:40on the losing team that day. And if they
- 4:43make similar mistakes in terms of team
- 4:44selection this time around, I think they
- 4:46could be in trouble here as well. This
- 4:48weekend, Sabah won 4-nil away to
- 4:51Cabbala. And that also means it is three
- 4:53clean sheets in a row for them coming
- 4:55into this one. Brussia Dortmund could
- 4:57only manage a nil nil draw away to Uni
- 4:59on Berlin. So that is three games
- 5:01without a win for Dortmund and also two
- 5:04games without scoring. In terms of the
- 5:06team news, no fresh issues for either
- 5:08side. But the question really remains,
- 5:10what are British Dortmund going to do?
- 5:12Are they going to play their stronger
- 5:13lineup this time or are they going to
- 5:15rotate again and risk losing as they did
- 5:18last week? With Sabah still five wins
- 5:20from five on this ground. And with
- 5:21Dortmund winless in three, I really do
- 5:24think that there is a massive chance for
- 5:26the home side to get something from this
- 5:27match. I'm just not completely confident
- 5:31in them yet that they are going to pull
- 5:32off this result. And obviously if
- 5:34Dortmund do play their strongest lineup,
- 5:36I would still expect them to win. So I'm
- 5:38going to go for a narrow 1- nil to
- 5:40British Dortmund for now. But genuinely
- 5:42watch this space. I think Sabah could
- 5:44spring another big upset here. On to the
- 5:47late kickoffs then and the first of the
- 5:48late kickoffs comes from Portugal where
- 5:50we have FC Porto taking on PSV Einhovven
- 5:53of the Netherlands. Plenty of drama for
- 5:56both of these sides in Europe last week
- 5:57but in the end both were on the
- 5:59receiving ends of defeat. for Porto. It
- 6:02was a highly entertaining back and forth
- 6:04game away to Real Betis and a game full
- 6:06of hostilities as well. But even goals
- 6:09from Spanish duro Gabria and Samu Agua
- 6:12were not enough to top the Spanish side
- 6:14from scoring three at the other end of
- 6:16the pitch. Francisco Mora is going to
- 6:18have to hang his head in shame because
- 6:19he gave away the crucial penalty in the
- 6:22final 10 minutes which subjected Porto
- 6:24to their second defeat of the Champions
- 6:26League so far which means it's zero
- 6:28points from their opening two games. As
- 6:30for PSV, there was penalty drama for
- 6:32them as well as they were away to RB
- 6:34Leipzig in Germany. And it was actually
- 6:36the Dutch side who were awarded the
- 6:38penalty in the first half and upstepped
- 6:41veteran Ivan Perisic who tried to play
- 6:43it straight down the middle of the goal,
- 6:45but the goalkeeper was able to get a
- 6:47foot to it. And unfortunately from that
- 6:49point onwards PSB really failed to
- 6:51create any other moments of significance
- 6:54in the attacking areas of the pitch and
- 6:56they took a bit of a second half
- 6:57battering from Leipig and eventually
- 6:59their defense was breached with Leipig
- 7:01scoring the only goal of the game and
- 7:03taking a 1-nil victory. But I guess the
- 7:05only positive that PSV have coming into
- 7:07this is that they have still got one
- 7:09point from their opening two games
- 7:11whereas Porto have none. This weekend,
- 7:13Porto were not in action as it was the
- 7:15opening rounds of the Portuguese Cup.
- 7:17So, they got the weekend off. PSV were
- 7:19in action once again, but it was defeat
- 7:22for them once again. This time away to
- 7:24Denhog, which means that they have lost
- 7:26their last three away games in a row in
- 7:29all competitions. In terms of the team
- 7:31news, no fresh concerns for the home
- 7:33side, but Gustill failed to make it to
- 7:35Halime for PSB this weekend and is
- 7:37likely to join a long list of absentees
- 7:40for the Dutch side ultimately. Right
- 7:42now, in my opinion, all signs do point
- 7:45to a Porto victory here. They may have
- 7:47lost both matches in the Champions
- 7:48League so far, but they've played pretty
- 7:50damn well in both matches. And the
- 7:52overall form of these two sides suggest
- 7:54to me that the momentum and also player
- 7:56for player, it really should be Porto
- 7:58that come out on top. I'm going for a
- 8:00Portuguese win, and I'm going for 3-1 to
- 8:03FC Porto. Game four comes from England
- 8:07as Liverpool, the home of the Beatles,
- 8:09host the yellow submarine of Villa
- 8:11Royale with both sides victorious on
- 8:13match day two. For Liverpool, it was
- 8:15absolutely mental game against Lask of
- 8:18Austria where they were comfortable in
- 8:20terms of the score line throughout the
- 8:22match as Bradley Barker scored a
- 8:24hat-tick. But after the score became 3-0
- 8:26to Liverpool, the whole second half just
- 8:28went a little bit crazy and it ended up
- 8:30being 63 to the English side. Yes, it
- 8:34was the right result, but if they defend
- 8:35the way they did in the second half of
- 8:37that game, they'll find it much harder
- 8:39to be comfortable in victory this time
- 8:41around. Although, it should be noted
- 8:43they still come into this with two wins
- 8:45from their opening two matches. As for
- 8:47Villa Royale, they lost their away
- 8:49fixture on match day one, but they come
- 8:52into this strong on match day two after
- 8:53beating Napoli 3-1 at home. In that
- 8:56game, they actually fell behind in the
- 8:58match after being unable to deal with a
- 9:00quick corner routine. But after
- 9:01Midukatsuke was gifted an equalizer,
- 9:04Villa Royale really put their foot down
- 9:06with Mourinho scoring straight away to
- 9:08make it 2-1. And then when Napoli pushed
- 9:10for an equalizer late on, Oliveri hit
- 9:12them on the counterattack and rounded
- 9:14off the scoring, meaning that Villa
- 9:15Royale have already got more wins in the
- 9:18Champions League this season than they
- 9:19got in the entirety of last season's
- 9:22competition. This weekend, Liverpool
- 9:24made it back-to- back wins with a 2-1
- 9:26victory away to Brenford. Although it
- 9:28should be noted that Brenford ended that
- 9:30game with nine men. And it was only
- 9:32after Brenford went down to 10 that
- 9:33Liverpool came back into it. Very were
- 9:36unable to back up their victory by only
- 9:38being able to draw nil nil at home to
- 9:40Elchce in a game where they were very
- 9:42wasteful in front of goal. In terms of
- 9:44the team news, both Dominic Solay and
- 9:46Jeremy Frimong went off injured for
- 9:48Liverpool this weekend and will remain
- 9:50doubts for this match. No fresh issues
- 9:52for the Spanish side. Last time these
- 9:55two sides met, it was back in 2022 with
- 9:58Liverpool winning both home and away.
- 10:00This time around, I would expect a
- 10:02similar outcome, but I do think Villa
- 10:03Royale are going to make this
- 10:05competitive. I'm going for a 21 win to
- 10:08Liverpool. Staying in England for game
- 10:11five, we now have Manchester City taking
- 10:13on AK Athens of Greece. Athens playing
- 10:16their second game in England in a week
- 10:17after playing Shaktar at Stamford Bridge
- 10:20last week. With the rumors circulating
- 10:22that if another guilty verdict is passed
- 10:24on Manchester City this week that UEFA
- 10:26could ban them for 10 years, it's
- 10:28probably best that we just focus on the
- 10:30on pitch activities. Well, last week
- 10:32City were absolutely played off the park
- 10:34by Paris Sanja. I think the only
- 10:36surprise come the full-time whistle is
- 10:38that they didn't end up losing the game
- 10:40by significantly more than they did
- 10:42because Donnaruma did end up making some
- 10:44real crucial saves in the first half.
- 10:46However, he could only prevent the
- 10:47scoring from being four as the French
- 10:49side ran away with it if it wasn't for
- 10:51Erling Harland still being prolific at
- 10:53the other end of the pitch. It could
- 10:54have been a lot more embarrassing than
- 10:56the 4-2 score line it actually was. And
- 10:58that means coming into this game they
- 11:00find themselves only one goal above
- 11:02their Greek opposition in the Champions
- 11:04League table. That is because after
- 11:06winning on match day one, AAK Athens
- 11:08were also on the receiving end of a
- 11:09defeat on match day two. Things did get
- 11:11off to an absolutely brilliant start for
- 11:13them against Shhat Janest as Croatian
- 11:15midfielder Mayer put them 1 nil ahead,
- 11:17but unfortunately they then absolutely
- 11:19hit the self-destruct button. Firstly,
- 11:21Realbas gave away a penalty which
- 11:23allowed Shakar to draw level. But then
- 11:25it was an absolutely horrendous
- 11:27goalkeeping error which allowed Shakar
- 11:29to gohead in the game with Brignoli in
- 11:31the Athens goal. very lucky that this
- 11:34goal hasn't gone down as an own goal as
- 11:36the Shakar player drilled the ball
- 11:37across the area and he sort of fell over
- 11:40and kicked the ball into the roof of his
- 11:42own net. It was absolutely horrendous
- 11:44goalkeeping. Nothing he could have done
- 11:45about Shaktar's third to be fair, but at
- 11:47the end of the game 3-1 it finished and
- 11:50now away to a Manchester City side at
- 11:52home. You do fear for their chances
- 11:54here. That being said, this weekend
- 11:56Manchester City only just saw off
- 11:58Ipswichtown 3-2 here. And again, it
- 12:01wasn't the most convincing display from
- 12:03the English side. Athens had their match
- 12:05postponed with this game in mind, so
- 12:07they'll be fresh and ready for this
- 12:09match. In terms of the team news,
- 12:10Manchester City will likely rotate a
- 12:12fair few players as they did rest
- 12:14against Ipsswich this weekend. Also, no
- 12:16new issues for Athens who may opt for
- 12:18changes following their defeat on match
- 12:20day two. Ultimately, it would be a major
- 12:23major shock if this was anything other
- 12:25than a comfortable Manchester City
- 12:27victory. The only question for me is
- 12:29whether or not AK Athens will score.
- 12:31Right now, I'm going to say no and I'm
- 12:33going to go for a 4-nil victory to
- 12:35Manchester City. Now, it's time for the
- 12:38ever so small matter of Paris Sanjaman
- 12:41taking on Barcelona. If the status of
- 12:44these two clubs weren't already big
- 12:46enough after just the first two games of
- 12:48the Champions League this season,
- 12:50they're already first and second in the
- 12:52table. For Paris Sanjgeran, they proved
- 12:54once again why they are the back-to-back
- 12:56champions of Europe and arguably the
- 12:58best side in world football. Although
- 13:00Chelsea fans will remind them of what
- 13:01happened in the World Cup final last
- 13:03year against English opposition. This
- 13:04time though they were absolutely pure
- 13:07Parisian brilliance against Manchester
- 13:09City as goals from Dway Dembele Vitinia
- 13:12and Akleu secured them a 42 victory. But
- 13:15it really was the quality of their
- 13:17buildup play that still beggars belief
- 13:19at times and it was yet another
- 13:21thoroughly deserved victory for the
- 13:23French side. As for Barcelona, they were
- 13:25very dominant once again, but
- 13:27surprisingly fell behind to Galatas on
- 13:30match day two, but that only seemed to
- 13:32spark them into life even more cuz in
- 13:34the space of 20 minutes, Xiao Canel,
- 13:36Furine Lopez, Anthony Gordon, and Kareem
- 13:39Admy had made it 41 to Barcelona. Just
- 13:42like PSG, they cruised to back-to-back
- 13:45victories, but it is the Parisian side
- 13:47that has a onegoal lead over them in the
- 13:50table. Albeit they have conceded one
- 13:53more goal as well. This weekend PSG had
- 13:56to come from behind to beat Strasburg,
- 13:58but that is exactly what they did,
- 13:59winning it by three goals to one to make
- 14:01it six wins in a row. Barcelona had
- 14:04another epic clash with Real Bettis and
- 14:06it ended up being 52 in the end, but
- 14:09that only came after Rail Bettis had a
- 14:11red card, but it is 11 wins in a row for
- 14:14the Spanish side. Something is going to
- 14:16have to give here. In terms of the team
- 14:18news, PSG did rest multiple key players
- 14:20for the Strasburg game this weekend, but
- 14:22Nuno Mendes is going to be injured for
- 14:25this match. Barcelona lost Gerard Martan
- 14:27and is going to be without Eric Garcia
- 14:29for this match, but they did welcome
- 14:31back Rafinia and Frankie Dong for their
- 14:34game at the weekend and both could start
- 14:35here. Four out of the last five meetings
- 14:39between these two sides have been won by
- 14:41the team playing away from home and that
- 14:44includes PSG winning the last two games
- 14:46last season. This one for me is an
- 14:48absolute pure coin flip as far as I'm
- 14:50concerned. Both play out sides are
- 14:52playing absolutely outstanding football
- 14:54at the moment. And quite frankly for me,
- 14:56this is may the best team win. Right
- 14:59now, I'm going to go for the
- 15:00back-to-back Champions League winners
- 15:02purely because they're at home. I think
- 15:04if Barcel were at home, I'd go for the
- 15:05same score line in their favor. But
- 15:07honestly, I'm just looking forward to
- 15:08watching this one. It's going to be an
- 15:10absolute epic. I'm going for a 32 win to
- 15:13Paris Sanjgeran. The first Italian side
- 15:16in action this week is going to be as
- 15:19Roma and they're going to be hosting the
- 15:21bottom of the tableside Sloan Bratislava
- 15:23of Slovakia. For the home side, they
- 15:26simply will not able to believe how they
- 15:28ended up losing their match day two game
- 15:30at home to Real Madrid last week. They
- 15:32were absolutely outstanding and the
- 15:34goals that they scored in the match were
- 15:36brilliant as well. Firstly, the run's
- 15:37longrange strike and then Donaniel
- 15:39Marland's double on the counterattack
- 15:41put them 3-1 up on the night. But then
- 15:43in the final 10 minutes, they simply
- 15:46could not handle the Real Madrid
- 15:48corners. And three goals in 10 minutes,
- 15:51all from corners subjected Roma to a
- 15:53defeat. But at least on paper, they're
- 15:55going to have significantly easier
- 15:57opposition here. That is because for
- 15:59Slavan Bratislava, it is backto-back
- 16:01defeats. And on match day two, they gave
- 16:03it a good go at home to German side
- 16:05Stogart by only having one fewer shot in
- 16:07the match. But that really is a false
- 16:09reflection on the actual quality of the
- 16:12chances and the German side were way way
- 16:14stronger in terms of how they actually
- 16:16played the game with them scoring a pair
- 16:18of goals either side of a crew's own
- 16:20goal which means that Sloan come into
- 16:22this game having conceded nine goals in
- 16:25their opening two matches of the
- 16:26Champions League and they are not
- 16:27fancied to do particularly any better
- 16:30this time around either. This weekend,
- 16:32Roma got back to winning ways
- 16:34domestically as they won 2-0 at home to
- 16:36Genua. And after three games without a
- 16:38win, that was a much needed result.
- 16:40Sloan also won and also got a clean
- 16:42sheet this weekend to win a 3-nil
- 16:44victory away to Shrana. In terms of the
- 16:46team news, there are no fresh issues for
- 16:48either side coming out of the weekend,
- 16:49but Roma will continue to monitor the
- 16:51fitness of Paulo Dybala, who only played
- 16:53the first half last week against Real
- 16:55Madrid and didn't feature this weekend.
- 16:57These two do actually have a
- 16:59head-to-head record, but it spans back
- 17:0115 years where over two legs, Sloven
- 17:04actually knocked Roma out of the Europa
- 17:06League after drawing here in the second
- 17:09leg. Right now, a repeat of that score
- 17:11line looks incredibly unlikely, though.
- 17:13Surely Roma take a comfortable victory
- 17:16here. I'm going for a two-nil win to the
- 17:18Italian side. Staying in Italy for our
- 17:22penultimate game on Tuesday night then
- 17:23and we now have Napoli hosting Bodo
- 17:25Glimp of Norway. On match day two,
- 17:28Napoli found themselves ahead against
- 17:29Villa Royale when a corner routine found
- 17:31its way to Rammani and realistically
- 17:33they should have been two or 3-0 up
- 17:36before the Spanish side made it 1-1 and
- 17:38that was down to a Matteo Politano
- 17:40mistake as he literally throughled it to
- 17:42the Villa Royale forward who ended up
- 17:44equalizing. From that point onwards,
- 17:46Napoli completely crumbled because a
- 17:48couple of minutes later, it was 2-1 to
- 17:50the Spanish side. And even though they
- 17:52pushed late on to find an equalizer,
- 17:54they were then hit on the counterattack
- 17:56again, making it 3-1 to Villa Royale.
- 17:58And also meaning it is backto back
- 18:00defeats for Napoli to start off their
- 18:02European campaign. After failing to even
- 18:05make the playoffs in last season's
- 18:06Champions League, there is big pressure
- 18:08on them already to not end up repeating
- 18:10that failing this season as well. For
- 18:13Bodo Glimp, they just do what Bodo Glimp
- 18:16do best and that is beat the most famous
- 18:18sides in European football. And they did
- 18:20it last week against Biscia Dortmund as
- 18:22the German side were the latest victims
- 18:24of the Aspirra Stadion. And it was no
- 18:27more than Bodo Glimp deserved,
- 18:28especially considering how they started
- 18:30the second half in that match. But they
- 18:32could have easily scored two or three
- 18:34before she bolds calm finish at the near
- 18:36post put them into a one-goal lead. That
- 18:39is actually how it finished, but
- 18:40genuinely it could have been more. and
- 18:42that means that they have got three
- 18:43points on the board and have won their
- 18:45last six games in a row in the Champions
- 18:48League at home. However, a quick
- 18:50reminder that their last two competitive
- 18:52Champions League matches away from home
- 18:54have both resulted in 5-nil defeats,
- 18:57including away to Bayern Munich on match
- 18:59day one. This weekend, Napoli made
- 19:02things even worse for themselves when
- 19:04they lost away to Venetsia in Syria, a
- 19:06side that had lost every single game in
- 19:09Syria so far this season. It just shows
- 19:11how poor Napoli have been so far this
- 19:14season. As for Bodo, they picked up a
- 19:16two-nil win away to Ham, meaning that
- 19:18they come into this on a run of four
- 19:21wins in a row. So, as far as I'm
- 19:23concerned, the momentum and the
- 19:24confidence is firmly with the away side
- 19:27here. In terms of the team news, and to
- 19:29give Napoli some credit back, they did
- 19:31rotate basically their whole first team
- 19:33for the game against Vanetsia this
- 19:35weekend. So, I would expect a much
- 19:37stronger lineup here. for Bod Glimp.
- 19:39Bloomberg went off with an injury in the
- 19:41first half this weekend and is expected
- 19:43to miss this match. No direct
- 19:45head-to-head record between these two
- 19:47sides, but Bod Glimp were victorious in
- 19:50Italy last season when they beat the
- 19:52Italian champions Inter Milan away from
- 19:55home. Napoli will undoubtedly still be
- 19:58considered favorites for this match, but
- 19:59with the way their week has gone and
- 20:01with Podo's record, I think Bodo are
- 20:04going to get at least a point from this
- 20:05match. Like I say, Napoli will still be
- 20:08big favorites. They'll still be expected
- 20:10to win, but I'm going for 1-1 between
- 20:12Napoli and Bodo Glimp. And then finally,
- 20:15we are in Germany for Stuttgart taking
- 20:18on Athletico Madrid, where it is the
- 20:20home side that come into this with a
- 20:22better start from the opening two match
- 20:23days. It's actually been a perfect start
- 20:26to the Champions League campaign for
- 20:27Stoutgart who made it two wins out of
- 20:30two against Slavan Bratislava last week.
- 20:32And that result moved them all the way
- 20:34up to fourth place in the table. Now
- 20:36they got the ball rolling when Dennis
- 20:38Unav finally got his first goal of the
- 20:41season. And then they were gifted their
- 20:42second goal when Sloan put through their
- 20:44own net. And then into the second half,
- 20:46Demirovic picked up his fourth goal of
- 20:49the league phase already, making him the
- 20:50top scorer in the Champions League so
- 20:53far this season. And wrapping up a very
- 20:55comfortable 3-nil win for the German
- 20:57side. As for Atletico Madrid, after
- 21:00losing away to English opposition in
- 21:02match day one, they were at home to
- 21:04English opposition Manchester United
- 21:05this time around and after just 53
- 21:08seconds, Barios had put them 1 nil ahead
- 21:10in the match. To be fair, they did have
- 21:12to ride their luck at times and Yan
- 21:14Oblak kept them in it at 1 nil. But then
- 21:16after Manchester United were taken down
- 21:18to 10 men, they rounded off the game in
- 21:20the second half through Adamo Llham and
- 21:22making it a 2-nil victory to the Spanish
- 21:25side. Now away from home again, this
- 21:27could prove a slightly trickier test.
- 21:29We'll just have to wait and see. This
- 21:31weekend, Stoutgar actually failed to
- 21:34make it three wins in a row as they lost
- 21:361- nil away to Hamburg due to a
- 21:38lastminute winner. Atletico Madrid, by
- 21:40contrast, made it six wins in a row this
- 21:43weekend, also involved in a 1-0il win.
- 21:45They were away to Espanol and they
- 21:48scored a lastminute winner. So, they
- 21:51might have that slight edge when it
- 21:52comes to momentum here. In terms of the
- 21:54team news, no fresh issues for either
- 21:56side, but Mitchellstat is still expected
- 21:58to be missing this game for Stoutgar.
- 22:00Atletico Madrid will likely rotate a lot
- 22:02of their players and we have a very
- 22:04similar starting lineup to the one that
- 22:06started against Manchester United.
- 22:08Personally, I think this is going to be
- 22:09another very, very close one. I think at
- 22:11their best, Stoutgar are more than
- 22:13capable of getting a result here, but
- 22:15they have fumbled in big matches
- 22:17domestically so far this season. And I
- 22:19think with the form that Atletico Madrid
- 22:21are in, even though I don't think
- 22:22they're at their best, those six wins in
- 22:24a row cannot be overlooked. And I think
- 22:26they're going to sneak this one as well.
- 22:28I'm ending the day with a 2-1 win to
- 22:31Atletico Madrid. That is going to be it
- 22:34then for all of Tuesday's matches in the
- 22:36Champions League. Before I leave you,
- 22:38let's see what you guys have been saying
- 22:40over on the community page regarding
- 22:41these nine fixtures. You have gone for
- 22:44the following. Basically, everyone
- 22:46thinks Fenbachce are winning at home to
- 22:48Slavia. Basically, everyone thinks
- 22:49Dortmund are going to win away to Sabah.
- 22:51Closer between Porto and PSV, but still
- 22:53a majority going for the Portuguese
- 22:55side. Basically, everyone thinks
- 22:57Liverpool are beating Villa Royale.
- 22:58Basically, everyone thinks Man City are
- 23:00going to be Athens. The majority have
- 23:02gone for Barcelona to win at PSG. I do
- 23:04think that is quite crazy when you think
- 23:06PSG are back-to- back Champions League
- 23:08winners, but fair enough. Barcelona have
- 23:10won every game this season. Basically,
- 23:12everyone thinks Roma are going to beat
- 23:13Sloan. The majority thinks that Napoli
- 23:15are going to win at home to Bod Glimp
- 23:17and basically everyone thinks Atletico
- 23:19Madrid are going to win away at
- 23:21Stoutgar. Once again, a massive thank
- 23:24you very much for watching. Don't head
- 23:25over to the community page right now to
- 23:27have your say on the nine matches we'll
- 23:29be covering in tomorrow's Champions
- 23:30League video and the 36 matches we'll be
- 23:34covering in the Europa League and
- 23:35Conference League on Wednesday and
- 23:36Thursday. Like I said, I'll be back this
- 23:39time tomorrow morning for day two of
- 23:41match day three of the Champions League.
- 23:43So, final. Thank you very much for
- 23:44watching once again and I'll see you
