- 1:22As for today though, we have got nine
- 1:25Champions League matches for you to kick
- 1:27off the return of European football and
- 1:30they are on your screen right now. So
- 1:31without any further ado, let's get
- 1:34straight into it. We have two early
- 1:35kickoffs for you on Tuesday and the
- 1:38first of those comes from France where
- 1:40lawns are going to be taking on Sporting
- 1:42of Portugal. Both of these sides were
- 1:45winners on match day one. But it was
- 1:47Lons who certainly did it the harder
- 1:49way. They were away to Slavia Prague on
- 1:51match day one where against 10 men they
- 1:54fell behind in the 88th minute of the
- 1:57match. But then in pure drama they
- 1:59scored two stoppage time goals. To Kovan
- 2:02and then Aguilar to steal the most
- 2:04unlikely of victories in the end, albeit
- 2:07one that they probably should have got
- 2:09considering their opponents were down to
- 2:1110 men for basically the entirety of the
- 2:13second half. As for Sporting, they also
- 2:15needed a comeback victory in their match
- 2:17day one game after Ignasio put through
- 2:20his own net 5 minutes into their game at
- 2:22home to Galatasaray. But comeback is
- 2:24exactly what they did as Catamo a Lewis
- 2:27Suarez penalty and Zalazar secured them
- 2:29a pretty strong 3-1 match day one
- 2:32victory and probably does just about
- 2:34make them slight favorites coming into
- 2:36this away trip to France. Since then,
- 2:38Lon drew and then lost before the
- 2:41international break, but did bounce back
- 2:43with a pretty convincing 2-1 win at home
- 2:45to Lyon this weekend. Aside they were
- 2:47unbeaten prior to this weekend. As for
- 2:50Sporting, they remain unbeaten all
- 2:52season long so far, but they drew their
- 2:54two matches following and from match
- 2:56they won before the international break,
- 2:58but got back to winning ways this
- 2:59weekend with a strong 3-1 away win
- 3:02against Braa. In terms of the team news
- 3:04for this match, Padbo was already
- 3:06injured and now Grand has picked up an
- 3:08injury at center back for Lens. So
- 3:10considering they play a three at the
- 3:11back system, they could be a little bit
- 3:13short in that area of the pitch. Zalazar
- 3:16came off the bench and scored for
- 3:17Sporting this weekend, but then was
- 3:19reubstituted with a fresh injury. So he
- 3:22could be a doubt for this one as well.
- 3:24Unfortunately, there is no recent
- 3:25head-to-head record between these two
- 3:27sides. So overall, I think we're in for
- 3:29a really close encounter to kick off
- 3:31this Champions League weekend, but I'm
- 3:33sticking with my gut instinct that I
- 3:35thought throughout the entirety of this
- 3:36preview, and that is that I think
- 3:38Sporting will just about edge it. They
- 3:40obviously have a lot more Champions
- 3:41League pedigree behind them as well.
- 3:43They know how to win these sort of
- 3:44games, obviously beating PSG of France
- 3:47last season as well. So, I'm just about
- 3:49going to go for them, but it could go
- 3:51either way. I'm going for a 21 win to
- 3:54Sporting. The other early kickoff sees
- 3:57our first official trip to Azabaijan for
- 4:00this season's Champions League as Sabah
- 4:02host Slavia. Obviously, Sabah did play
- 4:04four Champions League qualifiers here.
- 4:06And I'll remind you right now, they
- 4:08actually won all four of their home
- 4:10games in the Champions League
- 4:11qualification phase. However, they come
- 4:13into their first official Champions
- 4:15League game at home, 34th out of the 36
- 4:18sides of the match they won, where they
- 4:20lost 4-nil away to Manchester United. To
- 4:23be fair to them, they had a few chances
- 4:24in the match, but ultimately their first
- 4:26outing at the big boys table did kind of
- 4:29prove a little bit too much for a side
- 4:31that did show decent promise over the
- 4:33course of the qualification campaign. As
- 4:35for Slavia Prague, well, they fared
- 4:38somewhat better in match day one, but
- 4:40they were still on the receiving end of
- 4:41a defeat as well as they were the other
- 4:43half of that Lawns match that we just
- 4:46spoke about. After Konetski was shown a
- 4:48red card for a lastman challenge, Slavia
- 4:51actually took the lead twice in the
- 4:53match. And when Stern scored his second
- 4:55goal of the game, they thought they'd
- 4:57won it. But then two late stoppage time
- 4:59goals from the French side meant they
- 5:01ended up losing the game 3-2. But now
- 5:03against on paper arguably the weakest
- 5:06side in the entirety of this Champions
- 5:08League, they'll fancy their chances of
- 5:10getting more from this one. obviously
- 5:11now having 11 men in theory for the
- 5:14entirety of this match. Since match day
- 5:16one, Sabah won twice before then drawing
- 5:19nil nil this weekend against the league
- 5:21leaders of Azabaijan right now in Nefi.
- 5:23However, Saba do have a game in hand on
- 5:25them to go back to the top of their
- 5:27table. Slavia have won four out of four,
- 5:30scoring 10 and conceding just twice in
- 5:33the matches that they've played since
- 5:34match day one. So, they have an awful
- 5:36lot of momentum on their side coming
- 5:38into this game as well. In terms of the
- 5:40team news, there are no fresh injury
- 5:42concerns for either side coming out of
- 5:44their respective weekend matches. But
- 5:45obviously following his red card on
- 5:47match day one, Kyki is going to be
- 5:49suspended for Slavia. With no
- 5:51head-to-head record between these two
- 5:52sides and not even any history of Sabah
- 5:55playing against Czech teams or Slavia
- 5:57playing against Azabaijani teams, it is
- 5:59really hard to sort of place where we
- 6:01can put this one. To be honest with you,
- 6:02I don't actually think there is a clear
- 6:04favorite for this match. I think most
- 6:06people, well, I know most people cuz
- 6:07I've seen the community polls, are
- 6:08thinking that Slavia Prague are going to
- 6:10get the victory in this one. However,
- 6:12given their defensive record so far this
- 6:14season and also given the caliber of
- 6:16teams they beat in qualifying at home, I
- 6:20think right now I'm personally going to
- 6:21go for the Sabba victory. For me, this
- 6:23is the sort of proper test of what
- 6:25credentials they're bringing to the
- 6:27Champions League in this competition. If
- 6:28they lose this one to Slavia Prague,
- 6:30stands to reason they're probably going
- 6:31to lose all eight out of eight. But for
- 6:34now, I'm giving them the benefit of the
- 6:35doubt and I'm going to go for 1 nil to
- 6:36Sabah. Let's see what happens come the
- 6:38fulltime whistle. In to the 8:00
- 6:42kickoffs we go then. And the first of
- 6:43those comes from London England as
- 6:45Arsenal are going to be taking on Liil
- 6:47on match day one. The only real surprise
- 6:50for the Gunners was that they didn't win
- 6:51their game by more than the 1-0il
- 6:53victory they got away to Napoli. They
- 6:55absolutely dominated the match from
- 6:58start to finish. 60% possession. They
- 7:00had 26 attempts to Napoli's five, but it
- 7:03took them until the 75th minute of the
- 7:06match for captain Martin Odigard to
- 7:08score the goal and secure their first
- 7:10three points of the campaign. And given
- 7:11that they won all eight games in the
- 7:14league phase of the Champions League
- 7:15last season, it's a perfect start to
- 7:17their campaign this time around. As for
- 7:20LIIL, they were involved in an epic back
- 7:22and forth game against Real Bettis on
- 7:24match day one where they led twice in
- 7:26the match. However, their lack of
- 7:27ability to deal with set plays allowed
- 7:30Real Bettis to equalize twice in the
- 7:32match before then Betis went on and got
- 7:34a third in France after some sloppy
- 7:36defending allowed the Bettis forward to
- 7:38basically run through half their team
- 7:40and put the ball in the back of the net.
- 7:41And then to make matters worse, when
- 7:43Liil were pushing for an equalizer,
- 7:45Mbappe made the really clever decision
- 7:47to deliberately elbow the Bettis player
- 7:49in the face, get himself sent off and 10
- 7:52against 11, they were unable to come
- 7:54back from that onegoal deficit. and now
- 7:56they travel away to a very tough Arsenal
- 7:58side here. That being said, since match
- 8:00day one, Arsenal have hardly been at
- 8:02their best, but they've still been able
- 8:04to secure three wins with just one
- 8:06defeat. And despite not playing well
- 8:07this weekend either, were still able to
- 8:10secure a 2-1 home win against Leeds.
- 8:12That is why they are the current Premier
- 8:14League champions. It's a pretty similar
- 8:16story for LIIL as well. They've not been
- 8:17at their best since match day one, but
- 8:19they've won both of their home matches
- 8:21and they lost their one away game to
- 8:22Nice. So, I'm not expecting too much
- 8:25drama from this game, but certainly
- 8:26Arsenal will come into this as
- 8:28favorites. In terms of the team news, no
- 8:30fresh concerns for Arsenal, but it is
- 8:32expected that they do rotate roughly
- 8:34half of their team from the weekend.
- 8:36Mbappe is both injured and suspended for
- 8:39this one. And also, Thiago Santos went
- 8:41off with an injury for Liil this weekend
- 8:43and could be a doubt, but Olivier Giru
- 8:46could be making his return to the
- 8:47Emirates for the away side. No recent
- 8:49head-to-head between these two sides,
- 8:51but as I've already said, Arsenal for me
- 8:52are the clear favorites to take this
- 8:54one. Their defense has not looked its
- 8:56absolute strongest in recent games,
- 8:58though, and I think with Liil's
- 8:59attacking prowess, they could be capable
- 9:01of nicking a goal here. Still expecting
- 9:03Arsenal to come away with a victory,
- 9:04though, so I'm going for a 31 win for
- 9:08them. Keeping things with the English
- 9:10sides, we now have Manchester United
- 9:12traveling to Madrid to take on Atletico
- 9:15in a game that I could not be dreading
- 9:17more as a Manchester United fan right
- 9:19now considering the opposing form of
- 9:22these two teams right now. For Atletico
- 9:24Madrid, they actually lost on match day
- 9:26one and it was against English
- 9:27opposition as they lost 2-1 away to
- 9:29Liverpool. However, they did initially
- 9:31lead in the game where Marcus scored
- 9:33once again in the ground that he's named
- 9:35his dog after. However, a Liverpool
- 9:37onslaught either side of Halime meant
- 9:40that they ended up scoring two goals and
- 9:41despite Atletico's best efforts in the
- 9:43final 40 minutes, they were unable to
- 9:45find an equalizer and succumb to a 2-1
- 9:47defeat. Since then though, they have won
- 9:50all four of their matches, including
- 9:52winning the Madrid derby and then
- 9:54picking up a 2-1 away win to Alves this
- 9:56weekend. Whereas for Manchester United,
- 9:58they won very comfortably on match day
- 10:00one, winning 4-nil at home to Sabah
- 10:03thanks to goals from Kuna, Bruno
- 10:04Fernandez, Shesho, and Martinez, but
- 10:07since then have failed to win a single
- 10:10game, losing their derby to Manchester
- 10:12City and then drawing their last two
- 10:14matches in the Premier League, both
- 10:16against the at then bottom side in the
- 10:19Premier League. So, best believe
- 10:21Atletico Madrid come into this as
- 10:23absolutely massive favorites. In terms
- 10:25of the team news, as far as I can tell,
- 10:27no issues in the entire Atletico Madrid
- 10:30squad coming into this one, but I would
- 10:32expect some rotation from that Alves
- 10:34game. No fresh issues for Manchester
- 10:35United coming out of the game at the
- 10:37weekend, but surely changes are needed
- 10:39to that starting lineup given how poor
- 10:41United have been over the last couple of
- 10:43months. The last time these two sides
- 10:45met, it was in 2022 when Atletico Madrid
- 10:48knocked Manchester United out of the
- 10:49Champions League in the round of 16,
- 10:52winning at Old Trafford, but drawing 1-1
- 10:54here. Honestly, on current form, even as
- 10:56a Manchester United fan, I can't see
- 10:59this being anything other than a
- 11:01thrashing. I'm going for 3-0 to Atletico
- 11:05Madrid. Now, we are off to Turkey where
- 11:08Galatasaray are going to be hosting
- 11:10arguably the most inform side in world
- 11:12football right now. and that is of
- 11:14course Barcelona. We'll start off with
- 11:16the home side though who actually
- 11:17started pretty well on match day one
- 11:19when they went 1 nil up against Sporting
- 11:21in the first five minutes of the match.
- 11:23However, that kind of just sparked
- 11:24Sporting into life and they ended up
- 11:26being on the receiving end on a 3-1
- 11:28defeat. However, if you actually look at
- 11:30the stats from the match, you look at
- 11:32the balance of the play, arguably
- 11:34Galatas should have got a lot more from
- 11:36that match. They had double the
- 11:37possession that Sporting did and even
- 11:39ended the game with more attempts on
- 11:40goal. But it was actually an own goal
- 11:42that got them ahead in the match. They
- 11:44weren't really able to do anything in
- 11:46front of goal off their own merit and
- 11:48they allowed Sporting too many chances
- 11:50at the other end of the pitch and they
- 11:51were a lot more clinical than what the
- 11:53Turks were in that match. As for
- 11:55Barcelona, well, their 5-1 win over Ford
- 11:59was just another day at the office for
- 12:01them this season where they have won
- 12:02every single game so far this season in
- 12:05all competitions and they're averaging
- 12:06over four goals a game as well,
- 12:09including a 3-0 win this weekend over
- 12:11Hafe with near enough a full reserve
- 12:14starting lineup as well. That is just
- 12:15simply how good Barcelona's players and
- 12:18squad are doing at this moment of time.
- 12:20To their credit, Galatastaster are still
- 12:22top of the Super League with a 3-1 win
- 12:24this weekend, but even then, they needed
- 12:26two stoppage time goals to secure the
- 12:29victory after going down to 10 men. So,
- 12:31Barcelona will be the big favorites for
- 12:33this match. In terms of the team news,
- 12:35no fresh concerns for the home side.
- 12:36There is a big boost for them as Victor
- 12:38Osmen is back from injury. As for
- 12:41Barcelona, no fresh concerns for them
- 12:43either. However, Rafinia is set to miss
- 12:45this game after also missing their match
- 12:47at the weekend. Incredibly, the last
- 12:49time these two sides met, it was in the
- 12:52Europa League in 2022 with Barcelona
- 12:56taking the 2-1 victory here to progress
- 12:58in the round of 16. Now back in Europe's
- 13:01top competition, it's hard to go for any
- 13:03other result than another dominant
- 13:05Barcelona display and another Barcelona
- 13:07victory. I do think the Galatasay are
- 13:09going to put up a fight. I think their
- 13:11attacking options will allow them to
- 13:12score a couple of goals here. But with
- 13:14what Barcelona have got at the other end
- 13:15of the pitch, I still think they're
- 13:17going to go on and get the comfortable
- 13:18victory. I'm going for a 42 win to
- 13:22Barcelona. Next up, we are off to the
- 13:25San in Italy as Inter Milan are going to
- 13:28be hosting club Bruge of Belgium with
- 13:30both sides on the receiving end of
- 13:32defeat on match day one. For in it was a
- 13:35somewhat unsurprising result to lose
- 13:37away to Real Madrid, but it certainly
- 13:39wasn't for lack of trying. And with the
- 13:41combination of the chances they missed
- 13:43and the sloppy playing out from the
- 13:45back, which allowed Real Madrid to score
- 13:46their two goals in the game, I think
- 13:48Inter are going to be fuming that
- 13:50they've not come away with anything from
- 13:51the match cuz if you're being honest,
- 13:53they were probably the better team in
- 13:54that match. The goals were big mistakes
- 13:57and the some of the chances they missed,
- 13:58they really should have put away. As for
- 14:01Bruge, much like Inter, they had the
- 14:03majority of the possession in their
- 14:05opening game against Aston Villa, but
- 14:06that was basically the only statistic
- 14:08that they had in their favor come the
- 14:10full-time whistle. They went 1-0 down
- 14:12and 3-1 down to Aston Villa in the match
- 14:14with Veltson getting an initial
- 14:16equalizer before Drosi's penalty gave
- 14:18them hope. However, there was no
- 14:19follow-up to them making it 3-2 in the
- 14:22game. And that is how it finished. And
- 14:24if we're being honest, that probably was
- 14:25the right outcome to that match. Since
- 14:28then, Inter Milan have got themselves
- 14:29back to the top of Syria, which is of
- 14:31course the league that they won last
- 14:33season. But Club Bruge have been even
- 14:35better since match day one, winning all
- 14:37three of their matches since and scoring
- 14:40at least three in all of those games as
- 14:42well. So, they're going to be coming
- 14:43into this with a bit of confidence
- 14:45behind them as well. In terms of the
- 14:47team news, no fresh concerns for Inter
- 14:49Milan, who are even able to rest key
- 14:51players this weekend after going into
- 14:53commanding position so early on. As for
- 14:55Bruge, their only injury concern in
- 14:57their entire squad is to Odonz, who
- 15:00could be a potential doubt for this
- 15:02match. Once again, unfortunately, there
- 15:04is no recent head-to-head record between
- 15:05these two sides, but in my opinion,
- 15:07Inter Milan are the side to beat in this
- 15:10game, even though it's irrefutable that
- 15:12both sides are on good form coming into
- 15:14this fixture. For me, it's a real toss
- 15:16up between whether or not Bruge are
- 15:17going to score in the match. But in my
- 15:19opinion, based on Inter Milan's recent
- 15:20defensive record and the amount of goals
- 15:22that Bruge have been scoring, I'm going
- 15:24to say yes, they are going to score in
- 15:26the game. But ultimately, it's not going
- 15:28to affect the outcome of the match,
- 15:29which is going to be another Inter Milan
- 15:32victory. So, I'm going for a 3-1 win to
- 15:34the Italian side. Now to Germany where
- 15:38we have one of the more intriguing ties
- 15:40of the night which we have Larby Leipig
- 15:42taking on PSV of Netherlands where once
- 15:45again I think both of these sides are
- 15:46going to be very disappointed with the
- 15:48outcomes of their match day one matches.
- 15:50For Leipig they were on the receiving
- 15:52end of an absolute thrashing in Italy as
- 15:55they lost 4-1 away to Ko. Although
- 15:57statistically it was still a pretty even
- 15:59game with 50/50 possession and literally
- 16:02equal attempts on goal. The Germans were
- 16:05absolutely wasteful in their
- 16:06opportunities whereas the Italians were
- 16:08absolutely ruthless. Unfortunately for
- 16:10Leipig, they then followed that up with
- 16:12another away defeat. But their last two
- 16:14home games will give them big confidence
- 16:16going into this tie as they won 5-nil
- 16:19against Hamburg before the international
- 16:20break and then won 6-nil at home to win
- 16:24Frankfurt this weekend. So back in front
- 16:25of their home fans once more, they'll be
- 16:27very confident they can get the result
- 16:29in this fixture. As for PSV, it seems I
- 16:32massively overestimated their abilities
- 16:35going into match day one. As I
- 16:36predicted, they would beat Shakar Donesk
- 16:39very comfortably and in the end they
- 16:41could only muster up 0.4xG
- 16:44in the match at home to the Ukrainian
- 16:46side. And they ended up going behind in
- 16:47the match and needing Sergio Des's goal
- 16:50in the second half to cancel out
- 16:51Shaktar's opener. But to be honest, they
- 16:53need to be a lot lot better if they
- 16:55stand any chance of getting something
- 16:57from this fixture. And since then they
- 16:59went on to lose their most recent away
- 17:01game before then beating Heravine at
- 17:03home this weekend. In terms of the team
- 17:05news, following a goal and an assist on
- 17:07Saturday, Benzuni went off injured Harbi
- 17:10Leipig at the weekend and is expected to
- 17:12be a doubt for this match. PSV are still
- 17:15without multiple first team options for
- 17:17this match, but have no new fresh
- 17:19concerns from the weekend. So maybe a
- 17:20little bit of rotation from that Herave
- 17:23game, but no players are expected to
- 17:24return from their long list of injuries.
- 17:27Unfortunately, yet again, we have no
- 17:29recent head-to-head record between these
- 17:30two sides, but I think if you look at
- 17:32the recent home form from Leipig and the
- 17:34recent away form from PSV and the big
- 17:37injury list for PSV as well, for me, it
- 17:39has to be a Leipig victory in this one.
- 17:42I'm not convinced it will be anywhere
- 17:43near the 5-nil or 6-nil they got in
- 17:45their last home games. However, the
- 17:47caliber of sides they beat, who knows,
- 17:49maybe they could do it once again. I'm
- 17:51instead though going for a two-nil win
- 17:53for RB Leipig, getting them back on
- 17:56track. Sticking with the German sides,
- 17:59then we now have the defending German
- 18:00champions in Bayern Munich traveling to
- 18:02Norway to take on the Norwegian
- 18:04champions in Viking in the penultimate
- 18:06game on Tuesday night. For the home
- 18:08side, it was German opposition that they
- 18:11faced again on match day one as they
- 18:13traveled to Stoutgart. And they gave it
- 18:15a good go and they even drew level 2
- 18:17minutes after Stuttgart took the lead in
- 18:19the match. But in a crazy 15-minute
- 18:21spell, all four goals in this game were
- 18:24scored. And unfortunately for Viking,
- 18:26three of them were scored by Stogart and
- 18:28just the one was scored by then. And 3-1
- 18:31is how it finished. And yeah, with half
- 18:33the possession in the match, half the
- 18:34attempts on goal, it's fair to say that
- 18:36losing was the correct result for them.
- 18:39As for Bayern, they absolutely blew Bodo
- 18:41Glimpth away with goals from Muziala,
- 18:44Harry Kane, Alfonso Davies, and a double
- 18:46for Michael Elise securing a 5nil
- 18:49victory for them to start their
- 18:51Champions League campaign. Since match
- 18:53day one, four games, four wins, and
- 18:55three clean sheets for Vikings. So,
- 18:58they're going to be pretty confident
- 18:59coming into this one, especially when
- 19:00you consider that Bayern have only won
- 19:02two of their four since match day one
- 19:05and have drawn both of their away games,
- 19:07including away to Augsburg this weekend.
- 19:10So, who knows, maybe there is a slim
- 19:12chance that Viking could produce a big
- 19:14upset in this one. In terms of the team
- 19:16news, no fresh concerns from the weekend
- 19:18and unsurprisingly, no recent
- 19:20head-to-head record between these two
- 19:22sides. But there is one stat that we can
- 19:24pull upon and that is of course that
- 19:25Viking did lose 3-1 to Stutgart on match
- 19:28day one. And earlier on this season,
- 19:31Bayern Munich beat Stoutgart 5-1 in the
- 19:34Bundesliga. So stands to reason Bayern
- 19:36Munich are going to be humongous
- 19:38favorites coming into this one. And with
- 19:39the goalc scoring prowess they've got in
- 19:41their team, I think it's going to be
- 19:43another thrashing on the cards here. I'm
- 19:45going for 5-1 to Bayern Munich, but
- 19:48watch this space. Those recent away
- 19:50performances should be a concern for the
- 19:52German side. And then last and certainly
- 19:55not least, the final game on Tuesday
- 19:57night is the curious cases of Villa
- 19:59Royale and Napoli so far this season,
- 20:01who both made poor domestic starts to
- 20:04the season and then went on to lose
- 20:06their match day one openers. Now to be
- 20:08fair to Villa Royale, they still put on
- 20:10a half decent performance away to
- 20:11Brussia Dortmund and ended up losing the
- 20:13game 3-2 in Germany, but they never
- 20:15really had a foothold in the match going
- 20:171 nil down, 2-1 down, and then scoring
- 20:20an own goal and conceding a penalty. So,
- 20:22it's no real surprise they ended up
- 20:24losing the game and they then got a late
- 20:27consolation, literally a stoppage time
- 20:28consolation following an own goal. So,
- 20:31still not the best of looks for them.
- 20:33Maybe I'm doing them somewhat a
- 20:34disservice though because Dortmund have
- 20:35had a very good start to the season. But
- 20:37since then, they've only been able to
- 20:38back that up with two wins and two
- 20:40defeats. So, in my opinion, they're
- 20:42still not having a great time of things
- 20:44at the moment. They lost 1-0 away to
- 20:46Real Madrid this weekend though. So,
- 20:47again, it's not quite the worst result.
- 20:50As for Napoli, 1-0il is what they lost
- 20:52on match day one in a game where they
- 20:54were at home to Arsenal and were
- 20:55absolutely dominated in the match. I
- 20:57think the only real credit you can give
- 20:59to Napoli is that their defense kept the
- 21:01score line down to one as Arsenal had
- 21:03over 4xG in the match and were only able
- 21:06to score one. But Napoli really
- 21:08struggled to create any sort of chances
- 21:10in the match. But they do come into this
- 21:12after picking up back-to-back home wins
- 21:14over Bologna and Frosten, but they did
- 21:16draw their last away game. In terms of
- 21:19the team news, after missing the Real
- 21:20Madrid game, Pepe remains a doubt for
- 21:23the home side. No fresh concerns for
- 21:25Napoli, but the big boost for them is
- 21:26that Scott McTominay has returned from
- 21:28his heart problems and made an
- 21:30appearance off the bench this weekend.
- 21:32Now, we actually do have a head-to-head
- 21:34record between these two sides, but
- 21:35unfortunately, it dates all the way back
- 21:37to the Europa League in 2016, so I don't
- 21:41think we can read too much into that one
- 21:43either. For me, this is an absolute coin
- 21:46flip. Both sides started the season
- 21:47pretty poorly, but both sides have been
- 21:49showing signs of improvement over the
- 21:51course of the last few weeks.
- 21:53Ultimately, both of these sides
- 21:55underperformed in the Champions League
- 21:57phase last season as well with both of
- 21:59them finishing from 30th down to 36th.
- 22:02So, I can't really give either of these
- 22:05sides my confidence that they're going
- 22:06to go on and get the victory. So, as I
- 22:08always do when I don't know what to do,
- 22:10I'm just going to go down the middle
- 22:11with a 1-1 draw between Villa Royale and
- 22:14Napoli to round off Tuesday's fixtures.
- 22:17That is going to be it then for all of
- 22:19my previews and predictions for all of
- 22:20the matches taking place tomorrow in the
- 22:22Champions League. Before I leave you, as
- 22:24always, you guys have been voting over
- 22:26on the community page regarding these
- 22:28nine fixtures. So, let's see what you've
- 22:29gone for right here and now. The
- 22:33majority think that Sporting are going
- 22:34to win away at Lens, but I am surprised
- 22:36only 6% of you think the French side are
- 22:39going to get the home win. The majority
- 22:41think that Slavia are going to win away
- 22:42at Sabah. I've obviously given my
- 22:44thoughts on that one. Basically,
- 22:45everyone thinks Arsenal are going to
- 22:46beat Liil. The majority think that
- 22:48Atletico are going to win at Manchester
- 22:50United. To be honest, I thought that
- 22:51would be even higher. The majority think
- 22:53that Barcelona are going to win away.
- 22:55Basically, everyone thinks Inter Milan
- 22:57are going to beat Bruge. The closest
- 22:59community poll of the day is between
- 23:01Leipzig and PSV, but the majority have
- 23:03still gone for the German side.
- 23:04Basically, everyone thinks Bayern Munich
- 23:06are going to win away at Viking. And
- 23:08it's close again between Villa Royale
- 23:09and Napoli, but the majority have gone
- 23:11for the Italian side to take the
- 23:13victory. As always, let me know your
- 23:15thoughts down in the comments section
- 23:16below. Don't forget to head over to the
- 23:18community page right now to have your
- 23:19say on the nine fixtures we'll be
- 23:21covering in tomorrow's video. European
- 23:23football is back once again. So, if
- 23:24that's not worth a like on the video, I
- 23:26don't know what is. Daily uploads for
- 23:28you over the course of this week.
