Must Draft Running Backs with Elite O-Lines - 2026 Fantasy Football — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:06Greetings and salutations everyone. My
- 0:08name is Ash Pureov and welcome to my
- 0:09YouTube channel. Today I'm talking about
- 0:11mustdraft running backs based on the big
- 0:14boys up front, the offensive line run
- 0:16blocking ability. Oftent times in
- 0:18fantasy football, we prioritize
- 0:20opportunity that leads to success. And
- 0:22with more volume of opportunity, that
- 0:24will lead us in the right direction at
- 0:25the running back position. But the
- 0:27unspoken X factor has always been
- 0:29offensive line play. Because if the
- 0:31efforts of the big boys up front aren't
- 0:33up to par, we're going to have
- 0:34inefficient running backs that don't
- 0:36live up to ADP. Players such as Ashton
- 0:38Genty last season who was subjected to
- 0:40one of the worst offensive lines that we
- 0:42have seen in years. Unfortunately,
- 0:43despite all the opportunity volume he
- 0:45had didn't live up to his given ADP.
- 0:48Now, this offseason, I've dived into the
- 0:50overall offensive lines of the upcoming
- 0:522026 season and put together my run
- 0:55blocking offensive line rankings, as you
- 0:57can see, as such to the right. So, I've
- 0:59gone ahead and utilized the following
- 1:01sources to come to this conclusion as we
- 1:03project for the 2026 season. So, to
- 1:05begin, I found the 2025 rushing success
- 1:07percentage of all 32 teams because this
- 1:09metric specifically measures a team's
- 1:11ability to keep the chains moving on a
- 1:13downly basis. In order for it to be
- 1:15considered a success on first down, you
- 1:16need to get 40% of the remaining yards.
- 1:18On second down, 60% and on third and
- 1:21fourth down, 100%. Then I went ahead and
- 1:23I found the PFF run blocking grades of
- 1:25each individual offensive lineman for
- 1:27all 32 teams going into 2026 in order to
- 1:30find which offensive lines graded the
- 1:32highest last season. Sure, some of these
- 1:34players may be on different teams. We
- 1:35have rookies, we have players that were
- 1:37traded. I've taken all of that into
- 1:39consideration in order to kind of give
- 1:41you an understanding as to what these
- 1:42run blocking grades are a result of. A
- 1:45positive grade typically is because of
- 1:47forward movement, opening lanes, sealing
- 1:49the edge, and finding success on the
- 1:51second level. Negative grades are often
- 1:53a result of allowing penetration, losing
- 1:55your gap, or disrupting the intended
- 1:57running lane of the running back. And
- 1:58then we close it out with the 2025 ESPN
- 2:01run blocking win rates for all 32 teams
- 2:03and individual players. It evaluates a
- 2:05blocker, whether they prevent the
- 2:07defender from becoming a threat to the
- 2:08running back on their given run. That
- 2:10all taken into account with, like I
- 2:12mentioned before, free agency trades in
- 2:14the NFL draft. I found these to be the
- 2:16top 32 run blocking rankings for
- 2:19offensive lines going into 2026. So, the
- 2:21question is, how can we utilize this
- 2:23information in order to find success and
- 2:24give ourselves an advantage as we
- 2:26approach our upcoming 2026 fantasy
- 2:28football drafts? Now, first and
- 2:29foremost, players like Gibbs, Bejian,
- 2:32McAffrey, Taylor, Saquon, Cook, Kairen
- 2:34are all associated with elite offensive
- 2:37lines. You already know that you should
- 2:38be drafting these players as they've all
- 2:41contributed to being top 10 ranked in
- 2:42each of the last two seasons and even
- 2:44for many of them beyond that. But on a
- 2:47consistent yearly basis, these are
- 2:48players that I'm just not going to be
- 2:50mentioning here because you already know
- 2:51you should be drafting them. I want to
- 2:53go ahead and talk about running backs
- 2:54who are associated with elite offensive
- 2:56lines who may not be getting as much
- 2:58love and can certainly outperform their
- 3:00current ADPs as we're drafting in 2026.

- 4:18very much for all the support. If you
- 4:19have any questions, of course, all this
- 4:21information is down below in the
- 4:22description. Thank you very much. Okay,
- 4:24let's get into talking about these
- 4:25mustdrafted running backs who are
- 4:26associated with elite offensive lines.
- 4:28We begin with Javvante Williams, who
- 4:31again I have ranked in the top 20 as of
- 4:33my most recent running back half PPPR
- 4:35rankings video. But when we look at the
- 4:37potential of this offensive line, I have
- 4:39them ranked sixth based on the
- 4:41information and statistics and metrics
- 4:42I've gathered this offseason. Of course,
- 4:44last year in 2025, they ranked 11th in
- 4:46running back success percentage, 42.6%.
- 4:50They were number four in terms of
- 4:51adjusted line yards. They ranked 12th in
- 4:53yards before contact per attempt, 2.43.
- 4:56Again, having your running back at 2.43
- 4:5743 yards before contact. On top of the
- 5:00fact that a guy like Javvante Williams
- 5:02last season was averaging 3.56 yards
- 5:04after contact, of course gives them a
- 5:06huge advantage. But beyond that, in
- 5:08terms of stuffed percentage, this was
- 5:10the fourth best team in the category.
- 5:11Only 12.5% of their runs were at the
- 5:14line of scrimmage or behind, which is an
- 5:16incredible percentage. and of course
- 5:18speaks to just how incredible this
- 5:20offensive line was last year and how
- 5:21much better they're going to be this
- 5:23upcoming year because they have 100%
- 5:25offensive line continuity going into
- 5:27this upcoming season. All five starters
- 5:29are returning and the positive note on
- 5:31that is that they're not going to be as
- 5:33injured as they were last year. BB
- 5:35missed six games, Booker missed two
- 5:36games and Gton missed seven games. Smith
- 5:39and Steel both played the entirety of
- 5:40the season and did in fact have their
- 5:43own injuries but did not miss time. Now
- 5:45going into this upcoming year, obviously
- 5:47the offensive play calling is going to
- 5:49be a big determining factor as to how
- 5:50much workload that Javvante Williams and
- 5:52of course this offensive line will have.
- 5:54Shotti over the course of the last
- 5:55couple seasons as the offensive
- 5:57coordinator has often ran a scheme that
- 6:00is a gap and zone blend. Now when we
- 6:02talk about the potential of this
- 6:04offensive line, when we look at their
- 6:05PFF run blocking grades, they ranked
- 6:07seventh in terms of zone blocking and
- 6:1011th in terms of gap blocking, which
- 6:12again keeps them within that elite tier.
- 6:14Now, speaking of Brian Shottenheimimer's
- 6:16overall, you know, play calling and
- 6:17utilizing running backs, his history of
- 6:19success with fantasy running backs looks
- 6:21like 2018 to 2020, Chris Carson ranked
- 6:24as RB 15, 11, and 17 overall while
- 6:27playing 14, 15, and 12 games in those
- 6:30given seasons. And then, additionally,
- 6:31over the course of the last three years
- 6:33with the Dallas Cowboys, their starting
- 6:35RB finishes RB 15, 22, and 11 in the
- 6:39most recent three years. So, of course,
- 6:40we know that there is going to be a top
- 6:4215 running back associated with the
- 6:44Cowboys this season, and that's going to
- 6:46be in the form of Javvante Williams, who
- 6:47last year, prior to injury from weeks 1
- 6:49through 16, averaged 14.26 fantasy
- 6:52points per game on 19.2 opportunities
- 6:55per game. On a 17game healthy pace, he
- 6:57was looking to potentially be the number
- 6:5910 overall running back in fantasy
- 7:00football while averaging the 12th
- 7:02highest fantasy points per game amongst
- 7:04all running backs. And speaking of
- 7:06amongst all running backs, he was one of
- 7:07the most efficient last year. Among the
- 7:1055 running backs who had a minimum of 75
- 7:12rushing attempts last year, he ranked
- 7:1411th in yards per carry, fifth in yards
- 7:16after contact per attempt, seventh in
- 7:19missed tackles forced per attempt, and
- 7:20was number 23 of the group in rushing
- 7:23attempts that led to 10 or more yards.
- 7:25Again, the breakaway runs still had us
- 7:27desiring more, but there's still
- 7:29potential for expanding upon that this
- 7:31year as he inked a three-year, $24
- 7:33million contract this off seasonason.
- 7:35We're talking about a workhorse
- 7:36opportunity in this backfield within an
- 7:39elite offense and feasibly no
- 7:40competition. Yes, we've heard some
- 7:42murmurss regarding Jaden Blue this off
- 7:44seasonason, and I thought Jaden Blue
- 7:45would be the guy last year. It's not
- 7:46going to be. The reality of the
- 7:48situation is Javvante Williams is
- 7:50clearing away the RB1 of this team.
- 7:52currently sitting at an ADP on ESPN of
- 7:5438, on Sleeper 35.7, and Yahoo 35.0.
- 7:58These ADPs have shrunk in the last
- 8:00couple days. Obviously, people are
- 8:01becoming a little bit more aware as to
- 8:03the opportunity that Javvante Williams
- 8:05will be exposed to this offseason, but
- 8:07if you can get him as a fourth round
- 8:08selection, it's one of the easiest picks
- 8:09you can make in 2026. All right, let's
- 8:12move on to another running back who is
- 8:13getting himself a huge upgrade within
- 8:15his offensive line play. Now, this
- 8:17upcoming year, I have them ranked as the
- 8:1910th best run blocking offensive line.
- 8:21But in 2025, there wasn't much success
- 8:23because of all the injuries and of
- 8:25course, lack of production from the big
- 8:27boys up front. They ranked 18th in
- 8:29success percentage, 27th in adjusted
- 8:31line yards, 26th in yards before
- 8:33contacts per attempt, and 27th in
- 8:36stuffed percentage. 20% of the rushes
- 8:38from this offense led to being stuffed
- 8:40at the line of scrimmage or behind it,
- 8:42which of course did not bode well for
- 8:43guys like Omar Hampton. But going into
- 8:46this upcoming season, I'm anticipating a
- 8:48lot of upside. Because technically
- 8:50speaking, there's only one starter from
- 8:52this offensive line returning from last
- 8:54year, and that's Joe Alt. Otherwise,
- 8:56guys like Rashawn Slater, who were out
- 8:58the entirety of the season. And
- 9:00additionally, the interior of this
- 9:02offensive line, guard, center, guard,
- 9:03have been entirely replaced with guys
- 9:05like Bottis, Strange, and Slaughter.
- 9:07Therefore, with a pretty much new
- 9:09offensive line in 2026, what can we
- 9:11anticipate? Well, I'm assuming a lot
- 9:13better run blocking play, especially
- 9:14when you have an offensive coordinator
- 9:16like Mike McDaniel, who is the former
- 9:17Miami Dolphins head coach from 2022 to
- 9:202025. He is a disciple of Kyle Shanahan
- 9:23and a former rungame coordinator of the
- 9:25San Francisco 49ers prior to getting the
- 9:28job in Miami, which even after losing
- 9:30the Miami Dolphins job, immediately
- 9:32landed a job in Los Angeles, just
- 9:34because they know how incredible of a
- 9:36play caller he has been over the course
- 9:38of his career. Now, speaking of play
- 9:40calling, from 2024 to 2025, 60% of Devon
- 9:44Achan's rushing attempts were zone
- 9:46scheme runs. When we take into account
- 9:48the 2026 Los Angeles Chargers starting
- 9:50offensive line, rank sixth amongst all
- 9:53offensive lines in zone blocking grades
- 9:55via PFF, they built an offensive line
- 9:58that is specifically elite at executing
- 10:01zone blocking schemes. anticipate a lot
- 10:03of success for Amari Hampton, especially
- 10:05when we take into account the Miami
- 10:07Dolphins last season were bottom six in
- 10:09success percentage and yards before
- 10:11contacts per attempt and bottom two in
- 10:13stuff percentage. Despite all that,
- 10:15Devon Achan ran for 1350 rushing yards
- 10:19on 5.67 yards per carry. So imagine what
- 10:22the Chargers run game is going to look
- 10:24like this year. On top of the fact that
- 10:26besides having an incredibly upgraded
- 10:28offensive line, you bring in Charlie
- 10:29Kolar who ranked 10th amongst all tight
- 10:31ends in run blocking last season. And
- 10:33when we take into account what Omaron
- 10:35Hampton was able to do last year behind
- 10:37a mediocre offensive line in games in
- 10:40which he played 65% of the snaps, 17 and
- 10:42a half fantasy points per game amongst
- 10:4455 running backs last season with 75
- 10:47touches minimum, averaged 4.4 yards per
- 10:49carry, 3.35 yards after contact per
- 10:52attempt, which ranked 11th, which is
- 10:54great. He was number three in missed
- 10:55tackles force per attempt and 14 in
- 10:57terms of the rate of rushes that led to
- 11:0010 or more yards. In my opinion, Amarian
- 11:02Hampton is one of the easiest second
- 11:03round selections that you can make in
- 11:052026. And if in fact he falls to the
- 11:07back end of that second round for those
- 11:09of you who make a you know top four
- 11:11selection of Bejon, Gibbs, Chase or
- 11:14Puka, pairing it up with Omaran Hampton
- 11:17is an incredibly advantageous position
- 11:19to be in. Now, speaking of the success I
- 11:21anticipate to see from Armaron Hampton
- 11:22and Javante Williams, the first two
- 11:24running backs of today's video, I wanted
- 11:25to go ahead and head on over to parlay
- 11:27play to talk about their current rushing
- 11:29yards going into this upcoming season.
- 11:31Currently sits at 925 for Amaran Hampton
- 11:33and 950 for Javvante Williams. Based on
- 11:36the fact that both of these running
- 11:38backs were averaging over four yards per
- 11:39carry and are anticipating to see
- 11:41upwards of 250 rushing attempts this
- 11:43upcoming season under the assumption
- 11:45they stay healthy, they should very
- 11:47easily be able to surpass these numbers
- 11:49behind these incredible offensive lines.
- 11:51Yes, one team has 100% continuity, the
- 11:54other one nearly replacing the entirety
- 11:56of their offensive line, but because of
- 11:58their scheme, the tendencies of this
- 11:59offense to continue to run the football
- 12:01at the rate at which they do, and the
- 12:03fact that both these offenses have a
- 12:05very high chance of being top 10 in the
- 12:07league, I think this is a fantastic play
- 12:08to make. Again, for those of you guys
- 12:10who were trying to tail my picks this
- 12:11season, be sure to go ahead, head on
- 12:13over to the feed via parlay play, look
- 12:14up a Kuroff, of course, a the first
- 12:17initial of my first name and the
- 12:18entirety of my last name, and you can go
- 12:20ahead and tail the plays that I put
- 12:21together over the course of the season.
- 12:23All right, with that all mentioned,
- 12:24let's go ahead and let's move on to the
- 12:25next running back I wanted to mention.
- 12:27That's Bucky Irving of the Tampa Bay
- 12:28Buccaneers. Now, I understand many of us
- 12:30made an investment early last season
- 12:31that burnt us with Bucky Irving. And
- 12:33even though his offensive line did not
- 12:35play well last year, a lot of it was due
- 12:37to the injuries they sustained. The
- 12:39primary four starters, Worfs, Bredesen,
- 12:41Mock, and Gdki, all missed significant
- 12:44time. So when we look at the 2026 rank
- 12:47of 14 in comparison to where they found
- 12:50success last season in terms of success
- 12:52percentage, 14, adjusted line yards 28,
- 12:55yards before contact per attempt 18th,
- 12:58and stuff percentage 21. Yes, you may be
- 13:00thinking, well Andrew, where is the
- 13:01improvement coming from? Well, it's 100%
- 13:03O line continuity. You're bringing back
- 13:05all five starters. Hopefully, half of
- 13:07the starting offensive line won't be out
- 13:08by mid-season. If they're healthy,
- 13:10expect for Bucky Irving to find success.
- 13:12And I'll tell you why. Because besides
- 13:13the offensive line being incredible at
- 13:15run blocking, Durham, their primary
- 13:17blocking tight end, had the second
- 13:19highest grade amongst all tight ends
- 13:21last season with a minimum of 100 run
- 13:23blocks. So when we take that into
- 13:25account, we have the talent up front, we
- 13:27have the talent in the back field, and
- 13:28now we get a new offensive coordinator
- 13:30in Zack Robinson, who as the OC of the
- 13:32Atlanta Falcons last season called
- 13:34outside zone runs on 68.4% of his plays.
- 13:37While last season, Josh Josh Gazard, the
- 13:40offensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay
- 13:41Buccaneers, ran a very heavy gap, you
- 13:44know, infused scheme. Overall, we're
- 13:45getting to get a little bit of a more
- 13:47dynamic offense now that we go back to
- 13:49what Liam Cohen was able to produce with
- 13:51this offense in 2024. already this off
- 13:53seasonason, Zack Robinson, who is also a
- 13:56disciple of McVey, as was Liam Cohen.
- 13:58These offenses are kind of similar and
- 14:00he's already said that he's utilizing
- 14:01half of the playbook that of course Liam
- 14:03Cohen's Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024
- 14:05utilize. And why that's so important is
- 14:07because Bucky Irving thrived in that
- 14:09scheme. He was averaging 5.65 65 yards
- 14:12per carry on outside zone rushing
- 14:14attempts, which we're hoping to get
- 14:15Bucky Irving back to his 2024 state,
- 14:18where of course he was one of the most
- 14:20elite running backs in terms of
- 14:21efficiency that year, averaging 5.4
- 14:23yards per carry, 4.03 yards after
- 14:26contact per attempt. Additionally, from
- 14:28weeks 6 through 18, while he became the
- 14:31starter of that offense, was averaging
- 14:3316 and a half points per game on 18
- 14:35opportunities per game. And for those of
- 14:37you who are wondering, oh well Andrew,
- 14:39in that season, he didn't have to
- 14:41compete for touches with a guy like
- 14:42Kenneth Gainwell. Well, Rashad White was
- 14:44still in that backfield. And from weeks
- 14:46six through 18 of the 2024 season,
- 14:48Rashad White was averaging 11.9
- 14:51opportunities per game and balling out
- 14:53at that. So again, even with Kenneth
- 14:55Gainwell in this backfield, I really do
- 14:57believe Bucky Irving stands a great
- 14:59opportunity to outproduce his ADP this
- 15:01season, especially when we take into
- 15:03account as long as he has been healthy
- 15:04and on the field in the last 21 healthy
- 15:06games he has played for this
- 15:08organization, he has seen 16 or more
- 15:10touches in 18 of the last 21. That's an
- 15:1286% success rate of a lead opportunity
- 15:15that is going to go in the direction of
- 15:17Bucky Irving behind an elite offensive
- 15:19line that is now healthy in 2026. I
- 15:22think for a fifth round investment, this
- 15:24does give dead zone vibes in which you
- 15:26could get burnt, but I think we are
- 15:28undervaluing what Bucky Irving is going
- 15:30to bring to the table this upcoming
- 15:32season healthy within this scheme. All
- 15:34right, let's move on to the next running
- 15:36back that I wanted to mention. That's JK
- 15:37Dobbins behind the number three ranked
- 15:39offensive line in 2026 that ranked
- 15:41seventh in success percentage, sixth in
- 15:44adjusted line yards, yards after contact
- 15:46per attempt, they were 17, and stuff
- 15:48percentage 12. So again, this is an
- 15:49offensive line that is also bringing
- 15:51back 100% continuity. Last year, Powers
- 15:53missed nine games and Watenberg missed
- 15:55four games, but ultimately the rest of
- 15:57their offensive line were 100% healthy.
- 15:59And of course, as we approach this
- 16:01upcoming season, we are hoping that JK
- 16:03Dobbins will be as well. Because when we
- 16:05talk about the Broncos scheme as a
- 16:07whole, Shawn Payton's rushing scheme has
- 16:09been gapheavy since he joined the Denver
- 16:11Broncos. A lot of counter power and
- 16:13toss. So, when we look at JK Dobbins
- 16:15overall usage last season prior to him
- 16:17getting injured, 60% of his runs were
- 16:20gap heavy. And yes, you have a new
- 16:21offensive coordinator in Davis Webb, but
- 16:24he shouldn't change this scheme,
- 16:25especially when this offensive line
- 16:27ranked second on zone blocking and
- 16:29seventh on gap blocking amongst all
- 16:31offensive lines from their 2025 grades.
- 16:34Now, when we look at JK Dobbins and the
- 16:36success he found last year from weeks 1
- 16:37through 10, 11 fantasy points per game
- 16:39on nearly 17 opportunities per game.
- 16:41Dobbins throughout that span of time
- 16:43handled 74% of the running back rushing
- 16:45attempts, 23% of the targets out of this
- 16:47backfield and scored more than 50% of
- 16:49their fantasy points. He was damn
- 16:51efficient when given opportunities
- 16:53amongst 55 running backs who had 75
- 16:55rushing attempts last season. He ranked
- 16:56seven in yards per carry, 17th in yards
- 16:58after contact per attempt, 13th in miss
- 17:01tackles forced per attempt, and fifth in
- 17:03terms of rushing attempt rate of 10 or
- 17:06more yards. The ability to be as elusive
- 17:08as he was and still have the breakout
- 17:09run potential. Again, it was a perfect
- 17:11combination behind this elite offensive
- 17:13line. There's a reason why he resigned
- 17:15for a two-year 20 million contract. And
- 17:18prior to resigning, the Jacksonville
- 17:20Jaguars were actually the team that were
- 17:22trying to get him this off season. He's
- 17:24going into age 27. And I understand he
- 17:26has a very storied injury record. But
- 17:30prior to his injury last year was number
- 17:3118 overall in terms of fantasy points
- 17:34scored at the running back position,
- 17:35number 22 in fantasy points per game.
- 17:37currently sitting at ADP 90 to 120
- 17:39depending on platform behind an S tier
- 17:41offensive line. JK Dobbins in my mind is
- 17:44an investment I'm absolutely making in
- 17:452026. All right, let's move on to
- 17:48another running back. Like I mentioned
- 17:49earlier, a guy like Kyron Williams is an
- 17:52auto, you know, kind of draft piece
- 17:54considering how much success he's found
- 17:55year-over-year. So, I wanted to go ahead
- 17:57and talk about Blake Cororm because I
- 17:59think there is a potential behind this
- 18:00number one ranked offensive line that he
- 18:03could be this year's Zack Charbanet and
- 18:05make many Kairen Williams managers not
- 18:08so happy. Look, Blake Cororm is behind
- 18:10the number one ranked offensive line
- 18:11that ranked second in success
- 18:12percentage, number four in adjusted line
- 18:15yards, number one in yards before
- 18:17contacts per attempt, and number four in
- 18:18stuffed percentage tied with the Dallas
- 18:20Cowboys. when you have a 100% offensive
- 18:22line continuity coming back this
- 18:24upcoming season. I understand that, you
- 18:25know, Havenstein is no longer going to
- 18:27be the starting right tackle, but
- 18:28technically Warren McClendon did take
- 18:30over the starting position once
- 18:32Havenstein was sent to the IR and
- 18:34McClendon started 13 games for this team
- 18:36regular and postseason. So, really does
- 18:38look like 100% of the offensive line is
- 18:40back from where we ended last year. Now,
- 18:42when we take into account that with this
- 18:44offensive line, Shawn McVey has been
- 18:46able to take this offense to new levels,
- 18:48specifically utilizing a lot of zone,
- 18:50but of course, in most recent years, the
- 18:52heaviest volume of duo concept in the
- 18:55National Football League. This team
- 18:57ranked number one in zone grade and gap
- 18:59grade when it comes to blocking. So, I'm
- 19:01anticipating another year of a lot of
- 19:04success, especially considering the Los
- 19:06Angeles Rams, amongst all teams in the
- 19:08National Football League, utilize 13
- 19:10personnel the most. They ran 30% of
- 19:12their overall snaps on offense. Amongst
- 19:14those 30% of the snaps, when you have
- 19:16three tight ends on the field who were
- 19:18all top 17 in terms of run blocking
- 19:21grades in 2025, number one was Terrence
- 19:24Ferguson, two Tyler Higgby, number three
- 19:26Kobe Parkinson. When you have elite
- 19:28blockers, of course, you're going to
- 19:29find even more success within the
- 19:31rushing category. Now, let's talk about
- 19:32what Blake Quum's capable of. last
- 19:34season from weeks 9 through 18 nearly
- 19:36averaging nine fantasy points per game
- 19:38on 11 opportunities per game. 5.32 yards
- 19:41per carry and throughout that span of
- 19:43time was the number 26 overall running
- 19:44back, number 34 in fantasy points per
- 19:47game. But when we talk about his entire
- 19:49season as a whole, he was still
- 19:51averaging over five yards per carry,
- 19:52which ranked fourth amongst all running
- 19:54backs with 75 attempts last season.
- 19:56Sure, his yards after contact per
- 19:58attempt weren't the greatest, but
- 19:59overall he was number two amongst all
- 20:01running backs in attempts that led to 10
- 20:03or more rushing yards. He is a breakout
- 20:05runner that when given opportunity just
- 20:08needs one rushing attempt to take it to
- 20:09the house and make his fantasy weak.
- 20:11That's why I do believe he has the
- 20:13potential of being the 2026 version of
- 20:15Zack Charbanet. Because when this Rams
- 20:17offense is talking about splitting
- 20:19opportunities in this backfield and
- 20:21potentially getting Blake Corum more
- 20:22involved like he was last season,
- 20:24looking at his 17game pace based on what
- 20:26he averaged last season from weeks 9
- 20:27through 18, he would end up with 177
- 20:30rushing attempts, 940 rushing yards,
- 20:33nine rushing touchdowns. That's 152
- 20:35fantasy points. In comparison to what
- 20:37Charbanet produced last season, it's
- 20:38nearly identical. Charbanet 184
- 20:40attempts, 730 yards, 12 touchdowns. Now,
- 20:43in the event in which Cororm reduces his
- 20:44overall efficiency, but still is able to
- 20:47have that kind of a volume and touchdown
- 20:48upside, of course, there is top 30
- 20:51potential for Blake Cororm, especially
- 20:54when we take into account that the 2025
- 20:56Los Angeles Rams were tied for first in
- 20:58red zone rushing attempts inside the 10
- 20:59yard line and tied for first in terms of
- 21:01red zone rushing touchdowns inside the
- 21:0310 yard line. On top of the fact that
- 21:05like I've mentioned at Nauseium this
- 21:06offseason already, the Rams offense were
- 21:08number one amongst all teams in passing
- 21:10touchdowns inside the 10 yard line with
- 21:1227. While the year prior they only had
- 21:1410. If the rushing touchdown starts to
- 21:16stack up for Blake Corm and Kyron
- 21:18Williams, I think there is a very high
- 21:20likelihood that we found our next
- 21:22Charbanet here in the form of Blake
- 21:24Cororm. On top of the fact that the Los
- 21:25Angeles Rams are favorites in 16 of
- 21:27their 17 regular season games and have
- 21:30the easiest running back strength to
- 21:31schedule, Cororm in my mind is an easy
- 21:33investment in 2026. The final player I
- 21:36wanted to mention is very similar to
- 21:38Blake Cororm. It's Kyle Manungai, the
- 21:40RB2 of an elite running attack that is
- 21:43behind an elite offense that continues
- 21:45to want to give their RB2 the ball. And
- 21:48the expansion took place in the second
- 21:50half of last year just like Blake
- 21:52Cororm. So, why not Kyle Manungai behind
- 21:55the eighth ranked offensive line
- 21:56projected in 2026, who last season was
- 21:59number one in success rate, number three
- 22:00in adjusted line yards, number five in
- 22:02yards after contacts per attempt, and
- 22:04number eight in terms of stuffed
- 22:06percentage. Again, when you have 80% of
- 22:07your offensive line coming back, only
- 22:09one replacement, Drew Dolman, retired
- 22:11the their starting center. Again, you
- 22:13brought in Garrett Bradberry, who was
- 22:14the starting center of the Patriots last
- 22:15season via trade. Ben Johnson typically
- 22:18utilizes a lot of outside zone within
- 22:19this offense. sometimes uses, you know,
- 22:21gap schemes in terms of his overall
- 22:23usage, but Swift and Manungi, 65% of
- 22:27each of their running back rushing
- 22:29attempts were zone runs. So, when we
- 22:31look at the overall potential of this
- 22:33offensive line, they ranked 10th in
- 22:34terms of zone grades and ninth in gap
- 22:36grades. No matter what you run, this
- 22:38offensive line is going to be running
- 22:39people over alongside of Kyle Manungai.
- 22:42On top of the fact that last season, of
- 22:43course, we saw 11 of 12 personnel
- 22:46considering Coloulston Lovelin and Cole
- 22:48KT, both ranked within the top 26 of run
- 22:51blocking graded tight ends, who
- 22:53participated in 100 run blocks all of
- 22:55last season. Again, having the ability
- 22:57to get into 12 personnel sets and run
- 22:59the ball with two tight ends blocking is
- 23:01an advantageous point. Now, what we
- 23:04expect from Kyle Manungai is hopefully
- 23:06more production than we saw last year,
- 23:08even though he was solid from weeks 10
- 23:09through 18. 9.19 fantasy points per game
- 23:12on 13 opportunities per game. Was
- 23:14efficient in terms of his 4.6 yards per
- 23:16carry. And amongst all running backs
- 23:18from weeks 10 through 18 was RB 33 in
- 23:22fantasy points per game and RB25
- 23:24overall. So can he also be potentially
- 23:26this year's Charbanet alongside of
- 23:29Cororum in terms of being the RB2 that
- 23:31is potentially vulturing touches? When
- 23:33we take his numbers from last year,
- 23:34weeks 10 through 18, and expand them
- 23:36upon 17 games, the 191 attempts for 800
- 23:39rushing yards and eight touchdowns, over
- 23:41150 fantasy points, which makes him a
- 23:43top 30 running back, which certainly is
- 23:46potentially capable if, in fact, he can
- 23:47stay healthy behind this elite offensive
- 23:50line, who ranked fifth in running back
- 23:51rushing attempts inside the 10 yardd
- 23:53line, ranked eighth in running back
- 23:54rushing touchdowns inside the 10 yard
- 23:56line, and there was nearly a 50/50 split
- 23:58in those opportunity shares for both
- 24:00Manungai and Swift late last season,
- 24:02which makes makes me think that his
- 24:03current ADP on ESPN and Yahoo are wild
- 24:07because you're getting them in the 10th
- 24:08and 11th rounds for practically free in
- 24:11comparison to what he can contribute
- 24:13this season. All right, that's going to
- 24:14cover it in regards to my mustdraft

- 24:17run blocking ability going into 2026. I
