  1. 0:00All right, let's move to the next confession. Stop  climbing Mount Everest, people. Totally agree.
  2. 0:07Yeah, this is me. Yeah, everyone's like, "Yeah,  that's a big idea." Well, I don't have a poker
  3. 0:12face, so I'm sure I just gave it away, but  I am um I'm livid. I think like there was a
  4. 0:18there was a time period when like the point of  this was discovery. Let's see what's on the top of
  5. 0:23that mountain. Okay, we've seen it. We've done it.  You know what's on top the top of that mountain?
  6. 0:27Dead bodies. because too many people are doing it.  I don't think you're cool. I don't think you're a
  7. 0:31hero. You're spending hundreds of thousands of  dollars. You are jeopardizing your life and the
  8. 0:36lives of others. A lot of these people have kids  and families at home. I think you kind of suck
  9. 0:41for us. I think you're selfish and you suck. I  thought you were saying like, "Stop trying to
  10. 0:45achieve everything in life." You're literally like  So, I get it. I'm talking about this specific.
  11. 0:52I was like, "Okay, I'm totally like off." But I  get what you're saying. Both things are annoying,
  12. 0:56by the way. and they're trashing the mountain.  It's becoming an economic and environmental
  13. 1:00disaster. There's a subjugation of the local  population put into servitude for bragging rights
  14. 1:08up and down commercialized. It's not  like you're going to explore an unbar,
  15. 1:12you know, a barren wilderness. Like you're going  you're paying a guy, you're going to base camp.
  16. 1:18You're going to base camp. Not that I'm doing it,  but like someone who's in good shape could do How
  17. 1:24would you and I'm going to throw Alex in this too.  If you're climbing a building for no GD reason
  18. 1:29other than because you can't because it's there  and then you put it on TV and blah. No. And you
  19. 1:34have two kids at home. Okay. What are you doing  with your life? Stop lionizing these people.
  20. 1:40I think you're right. Like what's some people,  you know, some people say that it's almost like
  21. 1:47why would you run a marathon? I kind of ask  the same question about not as many people
  22. 1:51die running. Love you marathon runners,  but like doesn't cost $100,000. You're
  23. 1:56generally not in danger. You can do it  really fast. Yeah. So, we don't really
  24. 2:03need to be doing it all that much, but people do  it because it's about like human accomplishment,
  25. 2:09what the body can endure, what they can do.  It's a personal It's a personal same thing.
  26. 2:13And so, you can put that stupid obnoxious bumper  sticker on your car with 26.2. Yeah, you can put
  27. 2:20this car went up Mount Washington. Joe's got  he didn't run anywhere. Yeah, you can just
  28. 2:27put it on your car and no one's going to check.  No one's checking me. Obsession. This person is
  29. 2:30all about '90s retro. Life was better back in.  Not me. Definitely Joe. Not definitely not me.
  30. 2:39So, back to doom scrolling. Have you guys seen  that that that like trend on Instagram or whatever
  31. 2:44where they put the boooo dolls on and it's like  I don't want the world to see They show your
  32. 2:49your pictures from the '9s. Like, I don't even  know the people. I have no idea who the people
  33. 2:54are in my algorithm. And I am just like looking  at them like in their '9s outfit. Like, they
  34. 2:59look like Zack Morris and like I used to dress  like that. And it just it's so nostalgic for me.
  35. 3:04Um like those are my earliest fun memories where  like, you know, as as a a young kid in the 90s
  36. 3:08in like '92, 93 playing Nintendo and stuff like  that to high school like being in high school
  37. 3:13in the late 90s. It just such great memories and  all these people putting those that content out
  38. 3:18like like inject that into my veins. They show the  dads like what my dad was like. This is what I kid
  39. 3:23what he was like. Life was better. It was so much  better and you just it takes you back to a better
  40. 3:28time. A much more what feels like a better time  anyway. So I agree. I'm glad you didn't say the
  41. 3:3280s. Oh, you like the 80s are a better decade than  the n I than the 80s for sure. You think the '9s
  42. 3:40are better than the 80s? Oh, no. I think so. Wait,  but how? I might be. She might be younger. Yeah.
  43. 3:45But so what but even looking at it historically,  I'm pretty sure she's read up on it. So like up
  44. 3:49on the 80s. See, I've heard of this thing called  the 80s. Yeah, I do. I love music. Great music.
  45. 3:55Great music. Madonna. We have the best time.  We had um the best time. Like I think everyone
  46. 4:00is repeating trends from the 80s. Like you don't  love the 80s. You could think I only make this.
  47. 4:07But then I was thinking like when I was growing  when I was a kid in the '9s, right? my parents
  48. 4:12were in their 30s and 40s and there was this  whole retro stuff about the 50s and 60s like
  49. 4:16that was very popular and I kind of like get into  this weird headsp space where I'm like wow I'm
  50. 4:20my parents like the '9s are you know my 50s and  60s and and I put on a you know a Bush CD and I
  51. 4:26start singing right have you seen the Breakfast  Club? Do you remember any of those like I mean
  52. 4:30you don't Empire you ever seen Empire Records?  Okay so I have not actually so I want to I want
  53. 4:35to make that confession. What about The Breakfast  Club? Can we talk about that? Great movie that you
  54. 4:38did not I I mean I think she's about to say  she didn't see that. I just it just doesn't
  55. 4:42it doesn't really take you back. Doesn't want to  make you be in high school and in detention. No.
  56. 4:46No. Because I was not in high school. I know.  Just like you just like watching like I would
  57. 4:50love to be in detention on Saturday morning with  a bunch of Oh my god. That was Illinois. Amazing.
  58. 4:54So good. All those movies took place  in Shurmer Illinois. Okay. Okay.
  59. 4:59Does not know that. John Hughes. Exactly. We  love John. Has no one seen Empire Records? Yeah,
  60. 5:03I have. It's great. Rex Manning Day. It's one of  the best '9s movies ever made. Never confession.
  61. 5:08Okay, I really wasn't expecting this confession.  This is literally the confession. Joe, I steal
  62. 5:16Okay, I really wasn't expecting this. I  steal spoons from fancy restaurants. From
  63. 5:21fancy restaurants. You Carrie. Yes. Carrie's  like you. I feel like Is this a profile? No,
  64. 5:29I'm kidding. Yes, I do. I didn't know  we were reading crime. You're the person
  65. 5:34confessions. You're the person that I was at a  fancy restaurant one time and they were like, "Oh,
  66. 5:39people keep stealing our silverware." That was me.  Like they steal They steal the You know what they
  67. 5:45steal? You're You're good for taking the spoon.  Some people steal the fancy steak knives. Let me I
  68. 5:49won't take a knife. But let me tell you the thing  is when you go to these different restaurants and
  69. 5:53they have to be high-end and every so often you're  just like, "Oh my god, what lovely." You don't who
  70. 5:57does not love flatwear? Everyone loves flatwear.  Ask your wife. Who doesn't love flatwear?
  71. 6:01But it's like why not have a beautiful sterling  silver spoon from the Bellair Hotel. Not to
  72. 6:05say that I've done it from there, but I'm just  suggesting. Yeah, because it's not my hotel or or
  73. 6:11it does not, but it has beautiful victim. Carrie  has the statute of limitations passed on. Yes, of
  74. 6:15course. That's the only reason why I'm confessing.  I have and sometimes if I'm sassy and I put that
  75. 6:20in there too, I'll take a wine glass just in  case. Just if I can get away with it. I know.
  76. 6:26Yeah. Come and get me. I used to steal glasses  from a bar in down the shore called DJs and
  77. 6:32they had these very unique like glasses that you'd  have like your vodka drink in and you used to like
  78. 6:37slide them down your pocket on the way out. People  overcharging you. It's like you should be able to
  79. 6:41take something home like you just spend like $300  on a meal justifying it. Yeah. I know. I'm not
  80. 6:46really craziest thing that you've swiped from a  restaurant or a hotel. I know you all have taken
  81. 6:51towels, spoons, house shoes. You've never taken  anything to the house. They'll charge you room.
  82. 6:58They will. Slippers? Yeah. Never? No. I take the  slippers every time. You don't take anything?
  83. 7:03Toothpaste, toilet, and stuff. Sure. Soaps. That's  yours. I think you're supposed to remote control
  84. 7:10batteries. What? Wow. That's deep. Wait, what?  Did you ever need double A batteries when you're
  85. 7:16traveling? Go to Target. There are AA batteries  in that hotel remote control. I'm shaming you
  86. 7:20if you need them. Spoons. Okay, but batteries  where I draw the line. Sorry. So, like if I go to
  87. 7:25a hotel and I turn the TV and it doesn't work and  I'm like, Josh, it's actually very sad. I'm wild.
  88. 7:32All right. Confession. This confession  might cause the internet to go up in flames.
  89. 7:39The dogs must be stopped. Dogs are everywhere and  that it has to stop. Joe, no. I love dogs. I love
  90. 7:46dogs, too. Who doesn't like dogs? Not me. That's  Oh my goodness. Are you okay? Controversial.
  91. 7:50I love dogs. Okay. Have a dog. Okay. I love  your dogs. I don't love dogs in my restaurant
  92. 7:57when I'm eating. I don't love dogs in the grocery  store. I don't love dogs anywhere food and drink
  93. 8:02are being served. And they are everywhere now. If  they're comfort, it's out of control. That's fair.
  94. 8:07No such no. Listen. A um what are they called?  Service dog. A service dog. Of course there is
  95. 8:14a service dog and there are and comfort dogs are  not the same. Comfort dogs. They are not the same
  96. 8:18thing. And when I'm at a grocery store Oh, yeah.  over looking at produce and fresh food. You know,
  97. 8:25you're walking around with your dog or your  dog sitting next to me in a restaurant. Fair.
  98. 8:30I'm sorry. That's too much. And I love your dog.  You know who agreed to? The Chinese government
  99. 8:36cuz they have gotten rid of all the dogs in  public. But we live in a free country. We live
  100. 8:40in a free country where dogs can roam in public.  The American way. And that's the American way. And
  101. 8:46you don't have to like it. Gosh. The American way.  But you go to China, no dogs in the restaurants.
  102. 8:50Because guess what? I'm not gonna tell you  exactly all the things that she just talked about.
  103. 8:54Restaurants, grocery stores, some restaurants  everywhere. You see it everywhere. That's against
  104. 8:58the health code. It says so right on the door.  But then I'm the a-hole if I say something right.
  105. 9:04Can we talk about the ignore the signs? Comfort  dog thing like like like you go online, get a
  106. 9:10certificate and suddenly you could travel with  your dog. But I don't want it in. I'm sure I'm
  107. 9:16sure there are some valid people who want comfort  dogs. There's also a lot of people who just
  108. 9:20want to fly with their dog for free. Like they  don't want to store them in the in the you know
  109. 9:26just I understand when you're your food it's a  sanitary issue. I don't have a problem people
  110. 9:31traveling with a dog as long as they don't sit  next to me. Like I don't want to sit next to a
  111. 9:34dog on a plane. I don't want the I don't want the  dog to be How about sitting next to three dogs?
  112. 9:39That's happens. No, I'm I'm out. Some some  lady on an airplane recently had like three
  113. 9:44dogs. That's insane. Like to be clear, I don't  want to sit next to anybody on a plane. just,
  114. 9:47you know, for the record, but we all hope  for that person not to sit next to them.
  115. 9:51But I think it's rude to have a service dog  like where your where the dog's butt is like
  116. 9:55touching your foot. Look, if it's a service dog, I  don't care. Then totally fine. But a service dog,
  117. 10:02but you don't know the difference  sometimes and so you can't say arbitr
  118. 10:15usually the owner will say, "Please don't judge  my dog." Like they just lay quietly. They're
  119. 10:21just a poodle in your bag. It's probably not  Yeah. That that dog. I do know people who
  120. 10:25But I do know, to your point, I do know people  who make that up and say they have a service dog.
  121. 10:28In the past, Mrs. Blli might have suggested we  do that, which we did not, which we did. We're
  122. 10:33not like, you know, we're not stealing spoons or,  you know, stealing. Hey, guess what? No more high
  123. 10:37ground here. You still are doing something. That's  I'm not a I'm not a I take leftovers from the
  124. 10:42restaurant. Not Not the, you know, not the You've  taken some slippers from a hotel. I did take the
  125. 10:46the cups. I didn't I was like 23. All right.  You've done it. Thank you. Thanks for that.
