- 0:29All All right, welcome to the Ringer
- 0:30Wise guys Tuesday edition. Cousin S here
- 0:33with Raheem Palmer and Anthony Deundo.
- 0:36Sorry if I have a half a voice. I'm
- 0:38sorry for my voice in general. I know
- 0:40it's not pleasant to the ear. Um I was
- 0:42at the Emmys last night [snorts] and I
- 0:44think they should have handed me a
- 0:46trophy for the person doing the most
- 0:48outstanding acting as if he's not about
- 0:51to lose thousands of dollars on a
- 0:54teaser. My god. We'll get into it in a
- 0:57second, but Raheem, uh, that game did
- 0:59not go the way we uh, thought it would.
- 1:02>> I'm very angry.
- 1:04>> Yeah.
- 1:04>> And I'm angry in a game in which I
- 1:06actually won
- 1:08>> because me and Anthony Dundo actually
- 1:11had the under.
- 1:12>> Never in doubt. I mean, never in doubt.
- 1:15>> Never in doubt at all.
- 1:16>> But there is a contest called the Ringer
- 1:19107
- 1:20>> and a lot of us did tease the Denver
- 1:22Broncos and that was ugly. like uglier
- 1:25than a masterpiece sneaker. I mean, at
- 1:27the end of the day, you look at this
- 1:29Kansas City Chiefs team and last year
- 1:32they had a 5.2%
- 1:34explosive play rate. You know, plays of
- 1:37over 20 yards or more. And it felt like
- 1:39they had more explosive plays yesterday
- 1:41than they had all of last year.
- 1:44>> What were the Broncos doing with their
- 1:45tackling? Like seriously, they had 28
- 1:48missed tackles.
- 1:49>> Ken Walker had 144 yards after contact.
- 1:54So, I'm like I'm legitimately livid.
- 1:57>> I'm just
- 1:58>> We won yesterday. So, if you if you
- 2:00followed us on the [laughter] under,
- 2:01congratulations to you. But yeah, that
- 2:04that game was ugly.
- 2:06>> This is why the lifespan I don't want to
- 2:08talk anyone out of this as a profession
- 2:09of a a professional sports gambler. I it
- 2:13just can't be long because Raheem, and
- 2:15he's not alone, legitimately angry over
- 2:17wins, no less the freaking losses to
- 2:21Bundo, which we're going to have plenty
- 2:22of. give me a a quick line on this and
- 2:24then we'll get back to it in a bit.
- 2:26>> I want to send a thank you card to Andy
- 2:29Reid because he was the only coach who
- 2:33coached that game ethically last night.
- 2:35There was no ethics from Shawn Peyton.
- 2:37First of all, and we'll get into this
- 2:39maybe as we talk about the Broncos at
- 2:40large. They won what 14 games last year
- 2:45>> and they said, "You know what? We need a
- 2:46new play caller. We're going to bring in
- 2:47Davis Webb, first time play caller." And
- 2:50I'm not sure any plays would have worked
- 2:52the way Bo Knicks was playing last
- 2:53night, but you had to just feel like
- 2:55Shawn Payeyton didn't actually want to
- 2:57give up the play calling duties. And
- 2:59that seemed to me, that was always my
- 3:01weirdest thing about the Broncos,
- 3:02besides the fact their schedule wasn't
- 3:04going to be as easy this year. But the
- 3:06number two, Shawn Payeyton was faced
- 3:08with a decision at fourth and five at
- 3:11his own 35, down by 21 with 11 minutes
- 3:13to go. He says, "We're punting."
- 3:16>> Okay, if you're giving up the game with
- 3:1711 minutes to go, that's fine. That's
- 3:19fine. You give up. You're you're calling
- 3:21it. But then they get a fourth and eight
- 3:24with four and a half minutes left and
- 3:26it's like an obvious go. They're like,
- 3:27"All right, we're going for it." What?
- 3:29Wh Why? You already gave up the game
- 3:32eight minutes ago. Now you're going to
- 3:33go run more plays. I hate that.
- 3:35>> All you're doing is risking injury. Even
- 3:36if you get the first down, you're
- 3:38keeping your starters in there longer.
- 3:40What's the point?
- 3:41>> But you know what? Andy Reid said,
- 3:42"Uh-uh. We play ethically. We go into
- 3:44the two-minute warning. We can't
- 3:45technically knee out the game. We don't
- 3:47care. We're kneing it out anyway.
- 3:48>> Shout out to Andy Reed for another one
- 3:50of their backers from what you know we
- 3:52got lucky at the end the way the game
- 3:53ran out. But I mean
- 3:55>> given how
- 3:56>> you don't see that where they take the
- 3:58knee will there be time when you could
- 3:59easily kick a field goal that's not
- 4:01going to crush you if it's run back for
- 4:03six or something. You don't you don't
- 4:04ever see that.
- 4:05>> But you put your players at risk.
- 4:07>> You put your players at risk and they
- 4:09already lost. They were down a corner.
- 4:12>> Right. Right.
- 4:12>> It's like you don't want to you don't
- 4:14you don't want to risk any more
- 4:15injuries. So, let's get up out of here.
- 4:17Let's go home.
- 4:18>> We got a lot more to say about this
- 4:20game. Um, we're going to recap it. We're
- 4:22going to hit uh NFL future value picks.
- 4:24We got to hit that now, right? Week one
- 4:26baseball penetent race, best bets, plays
- 4:29of the day. We're going to get to all of
- 4:31it in a second, but let's hear from our

- 5:08in Connecticut.
- 5:10All right, more on that. Chiefs 31-10 as
- 5:13a two and a half point favorite.
- 5:15Dismantling of the Broncos. Kenneth
- 5:17Walker, who I've been singing songs
- 5:20about all summer, how he's going to help
- 5:21the Chiefs offense, had 191 total yards,
- 5:24173 on the ground, and yet I had the
- 5:26Broncos last night. Raheem, the big
- 5:28play, I think you were talking about the
- 5:29missed tackles on 20. What' you say? 28
- 5:3126
- 5:32>> 28 missed tackles.
- 5:33>> All right. So, that to me was the worst
- 5:35one. That was the game changer cuz I
- 5:37think that was like fourth and one or
- 5:39two when
- 5:39>> it was fourth and one from like their
- 5:41own 40 or like it might have been a 35
- 5:44or something crazy.
- 5:45>> It was it was the 39 yd line. Yep.
- 5:47>> Yeah. It was ridiculous.
- 5:48>> And you know it's not going to be Momes
- 5:50on a sneak, right? Because since he got
- 5:52injured he they don't they don't do
- 5:53that, right? They don't they don't sneak
- 5:55Mahomes on fourth and one. So who's
- 5:57probably going to get the ball there? Um
- 5:59and he just beats everybody. I mean if
- 6:01they had 20 guys on the field, he would
- 6:02have beaten them all well at all. Nobody
- 6:05said it's like
- 6:06>> Yeah. Nobody [clears throat] said the
- 6:07edge at all and it was just like all
- 6:08once he got around it was like oh shoot
- 6:10he's gone.
- 6:12>> Yeah the bundle this was no good.
- 6:14>> That was the turning point especially
- 6:16because I also doubled down. S I don't
- 6:19know if you know about my Chiefs second
- 6:20half under, but when the Chiefs have the
- 6:22lead at home,
- 6:23>> I will pretty much automatically play
- 6:24the second half under because of because
- 6:26of what we saw in the fourth quarter.
- 6:27They are the masters, the maestros of
- 6:30the killing the game situation and they
- 6:33were in the second half. I mean, they're
- 6:35taking 40 seconds off every play.
- 6:37They're they're not explosive outside of
- 6:39the Walker runs. Maybe you have to
- 6:40rethink that. Uh but they get like four
- 6:43yards a pop, so they're taking two
- 6:44minutes every first down to get the ball
- 6:46up the field. That was how the last
- 6:47drive felt. But I think this was so out
- 6:52of character for Denver because my crit
- 6:54my potential concern with Denver was
- 6:56well they played a lot of shitty
- 6:57quarterbacks and they ran up really good
- 6:59efficiency numbers on [ __ ] quarterbacks
- 7:01last year and that I wanted to see what
- 7:03the secondary and the linebackers look
- 7:05like in coverage when they played a real
- 7:06offense that had real quarterbacks. That
- 7:08wasn't even really the problem last
- 7:10night. The tackling, I don't really know
- 7:12what to make of it. It makes me think
- 7:13that it's a little bit of a week one
- 7:15fluke for the defense.
- 7:17>> Yeah. And so we saw this though for a
- 7:19bunch of teams, right? And I correct me
- 7:21if I'm wrong. I'm not Every year kind of
- 7:23bleeds into the the next when you turn
- 7:2675, 80, what, however old I am, but I
- 7:28don't remember a week one where four or
- 7:30five teams, maybe more, who were
- 7:32expected to be good to very good to
- 7:34great, just completely embarrassed
- 7:36themselves. Like completely forgot how
- 7:38to play football for at least an hour.
- 7:39the Rams, the Chargers, the Cowboys. I'm
- 7:42going to say good, you know, people
- 7:44expected them to win nine games. The
- 7:46Broncos yesterday, the the the Patriots
- 7:49to an extent for the second half. What
- 7:51Raheem, is this just um what do we see?
- 7:53Is this a fluky thing or these all these
- 7:56teams kind of in trouble?
- 7:58>> I think I mean the Chargers are in
- 8:00trouble. I think the Chargers had like a
- 8:01little bit of a rough off season.
- 8:02Obviously, you lose your you know, VIAZ
- 8:05or whatever his name is on the offensive
- 8:07line and that's been an issue. him. Come
- 8:09on.
- 8:10>> Yeah. I mean I mean but I mean
- 8:12>> first problem. Yeah.
- 8:14>> Yeah. But I mean you lose some guys on
- 8:15the offensive line for them and it's
- 8:17like offensive line has always been an
- 8:18issue and I also think Arizona's a
- 8:20little bit underrated anyway. Um I think
- 8:22>> they damn right.
- 8:24>> I I I think Arizon I think when you when
- 8:26it comes to Los Angeles I mean the Rams
- 8:29it just feels like they always have
- 8:31these slow starts and then you know Kyle
- 8:33Shanahan owns them and then you have the
- 8:35Australian thing. So, it's just a number
- 8:36of different things. I can I mean, I
- 8:38can't really say a lot of this was
- 8:39fluky. I think, you know, some of this
- 8:41was just I mean, sometimes the market
- 8:43tends to overrate teams. Um, so it's
- 8:45just like not tackling like the Denver.
- 8:48All right. Their defense, right? It's
- 8:49like, what the hell?
- 8:50>> Yeah. I mean, that's fluky obviously.
- 8:52>> The secondary played well.
- 8:53>> Yeah.
- 8:54>> Against the pass. I mean, Mahomes, they
- 8:55didn't do [ __ ] through the air.
- 8:57>> They had the one big conversion to
- 8:58Kelsey.
- 8:59>> They were not afraid to blitz. They were
- 9:00not afraid to play man. And for the most
- 9:02part when they got them in those third
- 9:03and longs, they actually were pretty
- 9:05good. And that was the one thing I'm
- 9:06watching for the Chiefs this year. They
- 9:08went from elite to ass in third and long
- 9:10last year and it just fell apart. And
- 9:12last night they weren't in third and
- 9:14long very often, but when they were they
- 9:16weren't good. So I I think that's still
- 9:18something to watch with with
- 9:19>> you. You know, it's fascinating because
- 9:21normally like I think for the last 5 10
- 9:24years, it's felt like defenses were
- 9:26ahead of offenses. This is the first
- 9:28time I've seen where it's like you're
- 9:30you're having records setting numbers in
- 9:32terms of points. Like I mean typically
- 9:34you could blindly play the hundreds and
- 9:35that hasn't been the case this year.
- 9:37>> So Simmons and I talked about this cuz
- 9:39they interviewed Tomlin. They did a good
- 9:41job with Tomlin uh the NBC in the
- 9:43halftime show and they asked where did
- 9:44all these points come from? I think it
- 9:46was the highest scoring Sunday of all
- 9:47time even at even by halftime of that
- 9:49game.
- 9:50>> And he said yeah the tide has turned
- 9:52because there are fewer padded
- 9:54practices. It's the defenses that are
- 9:56out of sync. For years, you're right,
- 9:57Raheem. It's been the offensive line.
- 9:59Wow, these guys don't seem like they've
- 10:00worked together. But
- 10:02>> I don't know what if he's right or if if
- 10:06we're just it'll be all be normal next
- 10:08week, but it is an interesting um point
- 10:10that he made.
- 10:12>> Yeah.
- 10:13>> So many new offensive coordinators.
- 10:15Maybe there was more wrinkles that we
- 10:16weren't expecting. Maybe
- 10:17>> that's interesting. Yeah.
- 10:20>> On film,
- 10:21>> right?
- 10:22>> But it wasn't every offense that was
- 10:23new. I mean, some of them certainly, I
- 10:25mean, you could argue the Chiefs are a
- 10:26new offense this year. They basically
- 10:27are. The Ravens certainly new offense,
- 10:30but Carolina and Chicago, that doesn't
- 10:32really count for them.
- 10:34>> But even look at look at Buffalo.
- 10:36Buffalo has struggled against the
- 10:38Houston Texans and they
- 10:40>> only two games though, Raheem. That was
- 10:41my
- 10:42>> No, but I'm I mean, but what I'm saying
- 10:43is they've strugg I mean, like
- 10:45historically, they struggled and they
- 10:46were able to generate a ton of
- 10:48explosives in that game. I mean, I think
- 10:50from a downto- perspective, they weren't
- 10:51the best. But for them to generate the
- 10:53explosive they did against that Houston
- 10:55Texans defense, I think it says a lot
- 10:57about Joe Brady and, you know, the
- 10:59differences in that offense now. It
- 11:02doesn't feel like they have a governor
- 11:03on them anymore.
- 11:05>> Yeah. The Bills are interesting because
- 11:07they they telegraphed this. The one
- 11:09reason I didn't bet the Texans under,
- 11:10even though I kind of wanted to continue
- 11:11the tradition, is that Joe Brady was
- 11:13like, "We're we're throwing it more.
- 11:14Like, we want to be more explosive."
- 11:16They used to have to play this like
- 11:18ground and pound offensive style because
- 11:20their defense was so bad. Now the
- 11:23defense was still bad, but they just
- 11:24said, "F it. We're going to throw it
- 11:25down the field and we're going to attack
- 11:27vertically." And if they continue to do
- 11:28that, um I wish the Lions luck on
- 11:30Thursday.
- 11:32>> Oh yeah. Shuck put up how many yards and
- 11:34now you got
- 11:34>> 410.
- 11:35>> Now you got Josh Allen on three days
- 11:37rest against that defense.
- 11:38>> Chuck put up like 400 yards. Almost all
- 11:40of it in in the second half. I mean it
- 11:42was the first half he did nothing.
- 11:44>> Right. Right. So, this could be part of
- 11:46the problem. Um, I might get in trouble
- 11:48for saying this, but someone from
- 11:50FanDuel reached out to me in Simmons
- 11:51yesterday morning and said, "Hey, this
- 11:53teaser promotion is going great. 6,000
- 11:55people took the reason the ringer
- 11:57teasers." And uh, if you're familiar not
- 12:00familiar with this, you get a discount
- 12:01on teasers if you jump on our I think
- 12:04there are seven of us giving teasers
- 12:06every week. And he says, "And you guys
- 12:08are about to go seven and0 as a group on
- 12:10teasers." And I wrote back, "Well, don't
- 12:12almost half of them still have the
- 12:13Broncos tonight?" and he said, "Yeah,
- 12:15but plus eight and a half." And I said,
- 12:16"Well, thanks for the info and for the
- 12:18tremendous jinx." So, I should have
- 12:20written one right there that Bo,
- 12:22>> you know what though? Honestly,
- 12:23>> put that thumb on the scale of those.
- 12:25>> Yeah. [laughter] Right. Right.
- 12:27>> I I actually regret not taking the
- 12:29Chiefs yesterday because to have a seven
- 12:32seven and a half point middle. Well,
- 12:34really eight eight point middle. Eight
- 12:35and a half point.
- 12:36>> That was one at some Bucks.
- 12:38>> Yeah. Like honestly had I was thinking
- 12:40that should have been I mean now granted
- 12:42we did cash on the under so I mean you
- 12:44able to profit there but that should
- 12:46have been an auto play for me you know
- 12:48to say Chiefs
- 12:50>> at home and half point yeah like under
- 12:53three you know Mahomes between spreads
- 12:56yeah between them spreads between three
- 12:59and three
- 13:00>> oh my god but yeah that I regret that
- 13:02>> you just didn't think you were getting
- 13:03the same Chiefs as before. By the way,
- 13:06>> it wasn't
- 13:07>> when Mahomes when Mahomes ran in that
- 13:09touchdown, I said this is cooked.
- 13:11>> Yeah.
- 13:12>> Like I just was like I was ready to go
- 13:13to bed at that moment.
- 13:15>> Well, cuz I think Raheem the play before
- 13:17a couple plays before he ran in a
- 13:19touchdown or ran a long one to the one,
- 13:20but it was called back. So, you
- 13:22definitely saw that he had the he had
- 13:23the goods uh at least. Um
- 13:25>> but then he they push it back 10 10
- 13:28yards 15 yards for the hold penalty and
- 13:30he still runs it in. I'm like, "Oh, this
- 13:32is done."
- 13:32>> Right. Right. Right. Can we can we talk
- 13:34about backyard bow?
- 13:36>> Sure. Yeah.
- 13:38>> I mean
- 13:38>> I mean I I had Wadd one for two yards,
- 13:41Sutton two for 11. Like what what the
- 13:43hell happened to Backyard? What was
- 13:44going on? And plus that crazy play that
- 13:46you're about to bring up. Yeah.
- 13:48>> Well, is that the worst drive in the
- 13:50history? It was if they had turned it
- 13:51over, if the Chiefs guy could have
- 13:52picked it up, maybe the worst drive in
- 13:54the history of the NFL. You get a first
- 13:55and goal at the five. You get a holding
- 13:57penalty, a disastrous hold that didn't
- 13:59need to happen. That would have sprung a
- 14:01touchdown. And then Bo is running around
- 14:04like 2020 Carson Wentz uh trying to
- 14:07evade defenders, gets hit from behind,
- 14:08fumbles the ball on the edge of the
- 14:10sideline. I I don't I think we only
- 14:13remember with Backyard Bow all the crazy
- 14:15comebacks and the plays. But it's also
- 14:17important to realize how hard it is to
- 14:19pull off some of the [ __ ] that he did
- 14:21last year and how unsustainable so much
- 14:22of it was. And I think you saw the
- 14:24limitations that last night. They were
- 14:26never been a good run offense. Great.
- 14:28They got Waddle. He didn't do [ __ ]
- 14:30either. uh they don't have a quarterback
- 14:32that's able to consistently execute uh
- 14:35over the middle. And so I just that was
- 14:37always my one skepticism with Denver
- 14:39this year and why I was like pretty
- 14:41lukewarm and on the team it's just like
- 14:44they've never actually had a good
- 14:46offense.
- 14:48>> Yeah, it's tough for him because the
- 14:50offense is always questionable. The
- 14:52defense and I give Vance Joseph all the
- 14:53credit in the world the last couple
- 14:55years um and he's my pick for assistant
- 14:57coach of the year. He has that defense
- 14:59humming always. So when you see a stat
- 15:01like Denver had a comeback in 15 games
- 15:04last year. They were trailing in 15
- 15:06games and won what? 14. They won 14 or
- 15:0913. I can't remember. 14. That's why you
- 15:11maybe don't consider that an outlier
- 15:13because the defense is so good. But my
- 15:16god, I'm looking at them now. Raheem,
- 15:18you want to guess what their odds are to
- 15:19make the playoffs?
- 15:21>> Um, I'm going to say it's probably 2
- 15:24to1.
- 15:26>> Plus 170.
- 15:27>> It's even. They're minus 112 to make the
- 15:30playoffs.
- 15:30>> Interesting.
- 15:31>> The market does not care that they lost.
- 15:34>> Well, I mean, they were, you know what
- 15:35it is? They were dogs.
- 15:36>> Yeah, but not really. Like two points.
- 15:38>> No, I mean a three-point dog, so it's
- 15:40probably priced in.
- 15:41>> Yeah. Well, but optically that team has
- 15:44more problems than something, you know,
- 15:46than just losing to the favorite Chiefs
- 15:48in
- 15:49>> Can we do the bit where we name all the
- 15:50quarterbacks they beat last year?
- 15:53>> I mean,
- 15:53>> it's a pretty funny list.
- 15:55>> It's all junk.
- 15:57Jake Browning,
- 15:59>> Jackson Fields, [laughter]
- 16:02>> Jackson Dart with a miraculous comeback
- 16:04that
- 16:05>> Gino Smith times too.
- 16:06>> They knocked Strat out of the game.
- 16:08>> They played Yeah. Gino twice.
- 16:10>> They played Mariota. They avoided
- 16:12Mahomes once.
- 16:14>> They played Love in the game where Love
- 16:15got hurt or sorry when Parsons got hurt.
- 16:18>> And also their defense in games where
- 16:19they played real QBs last year. 29 to
- 16:23the Char to the Colts, 23 to the
- 16:25Chargers.
- 16:27We could maybe count Philly 24 to to
- 16:29Dallas.
- 16:30>> There's some real questions about their
- 16:31defense. We'll get I mean we're going to
- 16:32get into like week two bets I think
- 16:34early looks. The first bet I placed in
- 16:36week two was uh before last night even
- 16:38happened
- 16:39>> and it was against their defense.
- 16:40>> Wow.
- 16:41>> And the quarterback Karma caught up with
- 16:45them as they had they were forced to
- 16:46start Jared Stdum in the AFC
- 16:48Championship game I guess.
- 16:50>> Sports guy says uh can you guys talk
- 16:52about the officials rigging the game for
- 16:54the Chiefs? Oh, interesting.
- 16:56>> I'm not sure about that. Did the
- 16:57officials make the Broncos miss all the
- 16:59tackles?
- 17:02>> I hope this isn't our sports guy 33, but
- 17:04I do hate the whole when a team loses by
- 17:06three touchdowns pointing right at the
- 17:08refs. But go ahead, Dundo. Go ahead.
- 17:10What What
- 17:11>> tackles definitely got away with a few
- 17:13holes in pass protection. That was the
- 17:15one concern we have with the Chiefs
- 17:16going in, but I mean, handoff up the
- 17:18middle,
- 17:20you got a chance to tackle Walker for a
- 17:22three- yard gain. How many times did he
- 17:23turn three yard gains into 10, 15, 20,
- 17:2670 yard gains,
- 17:28>> right? Yeah, absolutely. I don't know. I
- 17:31guess maybe it could.
- 17:32>> And if anything, Bo Nicks like almost
- 17:34had a turnover that got overturned. It
- 17:36was like a super close. Was his hand
- 17:38empty going forward play. The game was
- 17:41already decided by then, but I was
- 17:42certainly on pins and needles because
- 17:44they overunder.
- 17:46>> What was that? I was listening with no
- 17:48sound. So his hand that was just a hand
- 17:49going forward thing. other hand was
- 17:51third goal from midfield or something
- 17:53>> had the ball. Yeah,
- 17:55>> that was weird. But I mean I I gotta
- 17:56give I think we just got to give some
- 17:58credit to Kansas City's defense. I mean
- 17:59they pressured Bo Knicks on 45 and a
- 18:01half% of his drop backs and one of the
- 18:03strengths of this Broncos team was
- 18:04supposed to be their offensive line and
- 18:07it wasn't that. So I I think you know
- 18:09they had one explosive play. Um they had
- 18:12a 37% success rate, four sacks, two
- 18:15turnovers, just three second half
- 18:17points. at at some point. We got to give
- 18:19credit to Kansas City. Um because I mean
- 18:21you're looking at Kansas City, nobody
- 18:23expected their defense to be really
- 18:25good, especially when you're down a
- 18:26corner in the game. So, props to them.
- 18:30>> I was excited about that.
- 18:31>> Three second half points and it was the
- 18:33drive that started at the Kansas City 5.
- 18:35>> That's true.
- 18:36>> Yeah. Right. Otherwise, it was six plays
- 18:38punt, three plays punt, three plays
- 18:40punt, three plays punt, four plays punt,
- 18:45four plays, negative eight yards, field
- 18:46goal,
- 18:48and then fumble punt.
- 18:50>> I I think the question here that a lot
- 18:53of people are going to ask because right
- 18:55now the Kansas City Chiefs are 14 to1 to
- 18:57win the Super Bowl. I I think they were
- 18:5817 to1 before this game. A lot of people
- 19:01are going to wonder, all right, do I
- 19:03take a flyer on Momes and do I take a
- 19:05flyer on Reed? I I came into this season
- 19:08thinking about the 2009 Patriots and you
- 19:12know, it took Brady a little bit of time
- 19:14to get going as well. Um, and ultimately
- 19:16they end up flaming out, but I think a
- 19:18lot of people are going to ask that
- 19:19question. A lot of people going to want
- 19:20to play that lottery ticket. So, what do
- 19:21you guys think?
- 19:23>> It was an amazing play last night.
- 19:25>> Who? Mahomes.
- 19:25>> Did Mahomes play well last night?
- 19:28I think he played good enough for that
- 19:30team to win. Like I was about to bury
- 19:32Spags. That was going to be my
- 19:33narrative. Like, oh, his defense. Yeah.
- 19:35Okay. It's come and gone. You know, it's
- 19:37uh it's Lannor Rumo. It's the same kind
- 19:39of thing here. The defense might be back
- 19:41a little bit. Mahomes might be okay. And
- 19:43this Kenneth Walker pickup I think is
- 19:45good enough to put them. I mean, this is
- 19:47Raheem said it like you would expect
- 19:49like a slow start. Now that they're not
- 19:50getting the slow start and they're not,
- 19:52I don't think fully taking advantage of
- 19:54uh ref help. That might be a good number
- 19:57at plus400.
- 19:59>> I I can't do it just because Buffalo and
- 20:01Baltimore's offense has looked like
- 20:03they're in a different tier and I think
- 20:05you're bringing a knife to a gunfight if
- 20:06you think the Chiefs can just power run
- 20:08their way to a
- 20:09>> to an AFC run right now. I I would need
- 20:11to see the pass offense show way more
- 20:14than they did last night before I
- 20:15invested.
- 20:16>> But I mean I think you know the
- 20:18counterpoint to that argument is does
- 20:20Buffalo have a good defense?
- 20:23I mean, I I I do think, you know,
- 20:25Baltimore's defense is is solid and, you
- 20:28know, it has some real potential. I
- 20:29mean, obviously, you got Jesse Mentor in
- 20:31there and you saw what he did with the
- 20:32Chargers and it appears that the
- 20:35Chargers are really missing Jesse Mentor
- 20:37at this point in time based on what
- 20:38Arizona did last week. So, I mean, I I'm
- 20:41not willing to take
- 20:42>> Houston's defense isn't based on one
- 20:44game isn't right, you know, top of the
- 20:46top of the heap right there either.
- 20:48Yeah, I mean I'm not necessarily willing
- 20:50to take this price, but I I think
- 20:51they're going to be people who are
- 20:52willing to take it. And I it's kind of
- 20:55hard to argue with it.
- 20:56>> The two top defenses that got cooked,
- 20:59Denver and Houston,
- 21:01>> are you buying a bounceback or selling a
- 21:03bounce back on them?
- 21:05>> I think Houston gets the bounce back
- 21:07because from a success rate, what like
- 21:10Buffalo only had like a 40% success
- 21:11rate, right?
- 21:12>> Yeah. And I think ultimately they just
- 21:14generated a ton of explosives which I
- 21:17mean we it's week one and it's Josh
- 21:19Allen. So I am buying a bounce back from
- 21:22them. When it comes to Denver
- 21:25>> or skeptical
- 21:26>> I'm a little skeptical but I I think I
- 21:28mean you lose Franklin maybe that that
- 21:30hurt the run game a little bit.
- 21:32>> Yeah.
- 21:33>> I I'm I'm willing to just you know hold
- 21:35on it. I'm going to say you know but
- 21:36they're better than what they showed
- 21:37last night. You want to see guys tackle,
- 21:38right, before you fully commit to that.
- 21:40[laughter]
- 21:41>> It's tough. The great thing about week
- 21:43two is we don't have to chalk anything
- 21:45up to an overreaction. If we see it
- 21:47twice in a row, it now becomes a full-on
- 21:49narrative that we have to stick to until
- 21:52we bet and lose um every every
- 21:54everything we have.
- 21:55>> But you know, you know what's so funny
- 21:56about that though?
- 21:58>> I think we've gotten to a point with the
- 22:0117 game season that
- 22:03>> like even starting 0 and2 is isn't a
- 22:05death sentence anymore.
- 22:06>> It's fine. Oh yeah.
- 22:08>> So it's like
- 22:09>> now we're getting to the point where you
- 22:11almost got to push the overreaction back
- 22:13to week three.
- 22:15>> Well, we're going to get to that exact
- 22:17point in in a second when we do our
- 22:18value futures picks um after week one. I
- 22:21do want to hit you with the division
- 22:23odds real quick. Are you are you moved
- 22:25by any of these? Casey even, Chargers
- 22:27plus 280, Denver plus 290, and the
- 22:30undefeated Raiders are 13 to1. Now the
- 22:33Chargers, I mentioned Denver's playoff
- 22:35odds. Chargers are about the same.
- 22:36They're they're a they're I think like
- 22:38the same like minus 120 to make the
- 22:40playoffs. But anyway, for the AFC West,
- 22:42any of those numbers jump out at you?
- 22:44[snorts]
- 22:45>> Nope. No.
- 22:47>> Not going to be able to do it.
- 22:49[laughter]
- 22:50>> That was a Jaylen Rose double X posi.
- 22:53>> I love that.
- 22:54>> All right, lots to go. Okay, so let's do
- 22:57this. I'm going to start with this
- 22:59because Raheem brought it up and it's 17
- 23:02weeks and there's highs and lows and
- 23:05there's um and the way they place value
- 23:07on teams is interesting because it's 17
- 23:09weeks. So, I'm going to go Ravens to win
- 23:12the AFC North at minus it was - 110 -
- 23:15115 this morning. And it's not going to
- 23:18sound right, but the reason I say take
- 23:19the Ravens now is because there's no
- 23:22value in taking the Ravens now. I know
- 23:25it sounds stupid, [laughter]
- 23:27but hear me out. FanDuel and the books,
- 23:29Raheem,
- 23:30>> juiced the Ravens so much. I mean,
- 23:33remember last year they were two and
- 23:34five and even to win the division. I
- 23:37know they were counting on, you know,
- 23:39injuries, you know, getting healthy and
- 23:41everything. Two and five and even to win
- 23:43the division. So, I think even this
- 23:45year, if they're like four and two or
- 23:46five and three, this is going to balloon
- 23:48out to minus 220 by Halloween. So, if
- 23:51you talk about like trading in and out
- 23:52of positions, it's a great start. And
- 23:55you know, [clears throat] they win last
- 23:56week and they don't really gain on the
- 23:58division. Cincinnati won, Pittsburgh
- 23:59won, Cleveland lost, but who cares? They
- 24:01were never a threat. I feel optically
- 24:03they gain an edge on these teams.
- 24:05Bengals offense now we have to worry
- 24:07about a little and Baker didn't if he
- 24:10didn't do dumb things, you know, that
- 24:12that would have been more of a scare for
- 24:14the Bengals. Steelers, whatever. They
- 24:16knuckle ball their way to a a win over
- 24:18one of the projected worst teams. I
- 24:19don't see many special things from them
- 24:21other than TJ Watt and I, you know, I
- 24:23get the Flowers and Lane injuries aren't
- 24:25great, although they should be back, but
- 24:26this is Lamar's division and maybe
- 24:28conference. I think he and King Henry,
- 24:30who Simmons and I talked about,
- 24:32adnauseium, you can't say enough about
- 24:34this guy, could have probably put up 50
- 24:36on Token's terrible Colts. Come on,
- 24:38let's face it. Um, I like them at minus
- 24:42110 to win the division. Raheem, you
- 24:45don't like that?
- 24:47>> I I'm I'm not mad at that. like I'm I'm
- 24:49not mad at that at all. And obviously
- 24:51I'm high on the Ravens. So um I think
- 24:53you know on a show about two weeks ago I
- 24:56gave out the Ravens to start like five
- 24:57and up.
- 24:58>> Um and I think after you know game one I
- 25:00think a lot of people will agree with
- 25:01that. I think that market's actually
- 25:02been cut in half. I think it's it was
- 25:04plus 460 on FanDuel. Now I think it's
- 25:06like plus 260 or something like that.
- 25:08>> Well I'm looking at the three of the
- 25:09five teams they play now. Dallas
- 25:12downgrade. Tennessee downgrade. Atlanta,
- 25:15maybe PennX is back by then, but big
- 25:16downgrade,
- 25:18>> right? So, what's their odds to win the
- 25:20division after those if they run run
- 25:22that uh short table?
- 25:24>> Well, Cincinnati might do something
- 25:26similar with their schedule.
- 25:28>> Yeah.
- 25:29>> Cincinnati, I'm sorry. They have a
- 25:30tougher stretch coming up here. They're
- 25:31at Houston this week at Pittsburgh.
- 25:32>> This is a tough game this week. Yeah,
- 25:34we'll see. All right, Raheem, you're
- 25:35Let's Let's stay in that same division
- 25:37uh for your value pick.
- 25:39>> Um, no, we're not in that same division.
- 25:42Mark the Browns in the same.
- 25:44>> No, no, no, no. Like I think you're you
- 25:46got to look at the notes again. I
- 25:47changed it.
- 25:48>> Okay. Go ahead. All right. You always
- 25:50always
- 25:52keep on your toes. That's all right. I
- 25:54know.
- 25:55>> Okay. So, we have worst team in the NFL
- 25:59odds. So, I'm going to go with the
- 26:02Tennessee Titans at plus 460.
- 26:05>> So, if you look at the board right now,
- 26:07obviously Miami is the favorite at plus
- 26:09140. as a 41.7% imply, followed by the
- 26:12Cleveland Browns at plus 370, a 21.3%
- 26:16imply. At plus 460, you're looking at
- 26:1917.9. So, you got to be right about 18%
- 26:22of the time in order for you to break
- 26:24even. So, the market is saying that
- 26:27Miami is 2.3 times as likely as
- 26:30Tennessee to have the worst record in
- 26:32the NFL. And I'm not quite sure I'm
- 26:35buying that. You look at Tennessee, they
- 26:37were one and a half point favorites
- 26:38against the Jets. They got held to 195
- 26:41total yards. Now, let's look at their
- 26:42schedule. You look at their schedule,
- 26:45you got to play the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 26:48If you can't do anything with the Jets,
- 26:49I don't know how you do anything with
- 26:50the Philadelphia Eagles. Then you're on
- 26:52the road to the Giants and on the road
- 26:54to the Ravens. And then you come back
- 26:56home and you got to take the va take on
- 26:58a vaunted Houston Texans defense before
- 27:02going back on the road and playing the
- 27:04Colts.
- 27:06right there looking you're looking at 0
- 27:07and six right now.
- 27:10>> So at plus 460
- 27:13I mean this is going to be closer to 2
- 27:16to one by week seven. So I I just think
- 27:21the price on this is right. Now the one
- 27:23thing I will say about this you go add
- 27:26up all the probabilities on FanDuel
- 27:29sports book for this market
- 27:32it's a very high hold. I mean, it adds
- 27:34up to 155%. So, the hold on this market
- 27:37is it's very, very high. And I don't
- 27:41give a [ __ ] Sorry for cursing. I don't
- 27:44care because I think this team is
- 27:45starting 0 and six. I think Tennessee is
- 27:48in a bad bad spot. I know Miami is in a
- 27:52tough position. They look pretty bad,
- 27:55but Miami might be better than
- 27:56Tennessee. So,
- 27:58>> give it to me.
- 27:59>> You know, you forget though, Tennessee
- 28:00has to play the Colts twice. That's the
- 28:02only thing I don't like. Uh oh, it's
- 28:04fine. The Bundo, all our teams suck. I
- 28:06could I could poke a little fun. Um, no,
- 28:08I did say uh Sal could be
- 28:11>> Salah could be a one and done or three
- 28:14quarters and done. I mean, this could be
- 28:15a thing like where they are 0 and you
- 28:18know one and 11 Raheem and they're like,
- 28:20"All right, it's just not working out.
- 28:22It's just it didn't work out for the
- 28:23Jets. We screwed up here. We got to get
- 28:25rid of you now." Honestly, I think
- 28:28>> I want solid to just have a chance with
- 28:31a better quarterback.
- 28:32>> Like you look at the quarterbacks he's
- 28:34like he's he's been with.
- 28:36>> I mean, it's been a old Aaron Rogers has
- 28:38been I mean, I have no idea some of
- 28:40those quarterbacks he had with the Jets.
- 28:41I just want him to have a better
- 28:42opportunity.
- 28:43>> Zach Wil,
- 28:46I think, won a game or two.
- 28:48>> Yeah, that has been great.
- 28:50>> Brady Cook, did Brady Cook get a start
- 28:51in there?
- 28:53>> Think he might have.
- 28:54>> He might have. Yeah, it's a it's a it's
- 28:56a sad list. All right, the Bundo and
- 28:59they still have these more wins than X
- 29:01over Y. I like this. Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:04>> Um, you know, both the Jets and the
- 29:07Raiders are undefeated.
- 29:08>> They both won their respective toilet
- 29:10bowls.
- 29:11>> Uh, I think one looked more impressive
- 29:13than the other.
- 29:14>> I I went back and spend about 22 minutes
- 29:16of my life that I'll never get back
- 29:18re-watching Dolphins Raiders. And
- 29:23the Raiders did really well on laydowns.
- 29:26They definitely got nice pressure on
- 29:28Willis. They took advantage of the Miami
- 29:29offensive line, which I thought would be
- 29:30better than it was, but their offense
- 29:33didn't look that impressive to me at
- 29:34all. I thought for large stretches, they
- 29:36were just kind of like Cousins looked
- 29:38pretty old. Uh I texted with Raiders
- 29:41afficionado Austin Gale. He thinks that
- 29:42Mendoza is in sooner rather than later.
- 29:45I think they're the Raiders are just
- 29:47going to at some point have to just try
- 29:51to focus on the future. Everything about
- 29:53this Jets team besides the fact that
- 29:55they're called the Jets would suggest
- 29:57that they're actually improved. And I
- 29:59don't again the reason I couldn't bet
- 30:00they're over was because I don't like
- 30:01the coach and I don't like the OC. So, I
- 30:03just kind of like danced around how I
- 30:05really felt about them. But the O line
- 30:07looked really good, really good on
- 30:10Sunday and they did it against a
- 30:12Tennessee defense that's supposed to be
- 30:13a good D line. Simmons and Franklin
- 30:15Myers. Like it's it's a it's a front
- 30:16seven that we think is pretty good.
- 30:19>> And Gino looked pretty comfortable back
- 30:20there because of that O line. Maybe the
- 30:22best O line he's played with since his
- 30:24resurgence. So you look at this Jets
- 30:26team and you're like, "All right, well,
- 30:28I don't think they have much of a
- 30:29ceiling." But
- 30:30>> if the Raiders are going to pull the
- 30:31plug here, we can get Jets headtohead
- 30:33versus Raiders at plus money. I'm in.
- 30:35I'm in. Because again,
- 30:38>> the Raiders have this albatross sitting
- 30:40there where it's like at some point they
- 30:42might just go to Mendoza and odds are he
- 30:44will not be very good. So,
- 30:45>> right,
- 30:46>> to start his career. [clears throat] So,
- 30:47I think the Jets plus money against the
- 30:48Raiders. Let's go, baby. I'm in.
- 30:51>> The seven win Jets are going to really
- 30:52uh
- 30:53>> and you want to get crazy. I mean, when
- 30:54you're really nuts, you know, we we
- 30:57joked about this preseason, but if you
- 30:58think the Jets have a chance at a wild
- 30:59card, which I wouldn't go that far,
- 31:01Glenn coach of the year is like not the
- 31:03craziest bet you've ever had cuz the
- 31:04expectations were so low.
- 31:07>> Yeah.
- 31:07>> That if he just gets to nine and eight,
- 31:09like doesn't he win?
- 31:10>> That's the kind of
- 31:11>> I think he's 19 to1. Actually, I thought
- 31:13about that this morning as well,
- 31:14especially when you consider
- 31:15>> column. I was like, if you like the
- 31:16Jets, you should be on
- 31:19>> Well, so when you think gets it, Raheem,
- 31:22well, you have to get in the playoffs,
- 31:23right? Honestly,
- 31:25>> eight wins.
- 31:27>> Eight wins might [laughter] do a fair.
- 31:29>> With that being said, I I don't want to
- 31:30We're at the great risk of overreacting
- 31:32here because they played a Titans team
- 31:34that we think is really shitty. But
- 31:35again, I think the O line is the big
- 31:37>> the big factor here. They're they
- 31:39dominated that game in the trenches.
- 31:41>> Here's the interesting thing.
- 31:42>> Darren Glenn Towel was the big factor.
- 31:43Keep the interesting thing last week and
- 31:46they still won.
- 31:47>> The interesting thing is that they play
- 31:48Green Bay this week.
- 31:50>> Yeah. And that line has moved from an
- 31:52opener of 6 and a half
- 31:54>> and there are now three and a halfs in
- 31:56the market on the New York Jets against
- 31:58the Green Bay Packers. So the sharp like
- 32:00I mean the Sharps are absolutely
- 32:01exploding on this game based on what we
- 32:04saw last week. And if they are right
- 32:06>> that Aaron Glenn number might come down.
- 32:09All right. So this dubtales nicely into
- 32:11a segment that Raheem had us add and I'm
- 32:13glad he did. As long as we have early
- 32:15week two leans, we might as well give
- 32:17them to you now. And mine is the Jets
- 32:19plus 172 over the Packers.
- 32:23>> Packers, look, they're on the road. And
- 32:25I always say if a team has one
- 32:26ridiculous loss in them, they certainly
- 32:29have two. And Matt Laflur's going to
- 32:31have to dig deep. But and a G it's just
- 32:34this game jumped out at me because
- 32:36there's always a how is this team 2 and
- 32:380 and how is this team 0 and2 matchup at
- 32:40the end of the day on the slate? And
- 32:42this has a potential to be that one. And
- 32:45I have the package. I had them to win
- 32:46the AFC North. This was supposed to be
- 32:48their easy stretch, right? They the NFL
- 32:50did did them a little bit of a favor
- 32:52before Micah Parsons got back, but I
- 32:55don't know. I could definitely see the
- 32:57world falling in love with Gino Smith
- 32:58for a few weeks here. So, I'm not
- 33:00locking this in, but this is the one
- 33:02that jumped out at me immediately. Plus
- 33:04172. You guys are locking step on on a
- 33:06few of these. I don't know. Did you
- 33:07compare notes earlier, but um Raheem,
- 33:10hit us with the Steelers Pats under 42
- 33:12and a half. So, you look at this
- 33:15Pittsburgh Steelers offense. They could
- 33:19not score against an Atlanta Falcons
- 33:21defense that really has no pass rush. I
- 33:23mean, you got one guy injured, one guy
- 33:25suspended, you put up 20 points, and now
- 33:28you have to go up against a tougher
- 33:30Patriots defense. And to me, if you look
- 33:33at the Patriots, what are they without
- 33:35AJ Brown? And obviously it's not you're
- 33:38not just losing AJ Brown,
- 33:40>> you're also losing Stefon Diggs from
- 33:43last year. You're also losing Keshan
- 33:45Booty. So now you're essentially down
- 33:48three receivers from what you were last
- 33:50year. So I don't think the offense is
- 33:53going to be as good. I kind of want to
- 33:56really lay it with the the the Patriots
- 33:58to be honest with you, but I I think the
- 34:00under is a better play. But I mean, if
- 34:02you look at the Steelers last week, the
- 34:03offense was so abysmal. 32% success
- 34:06rate, a 34% passing success rate, 27.8%
- 34:10rushing success rate. They could do
- 34:12nothing. Like you're watching that game
- 34:14and the Steelers are basically saying
- 34:16Atlanta, take this and Cooper Rush and
- 34:19Atlanta could not take it. So I
- 34:22>> I go back and forth on Pittsburgh
- 34:24because if you watch that game back,
- 34:25they were like four plays that they came
- 34:27this close to hitting
- 34:28>> down the field, [clears throat]
- 34:29>> including the passive not called pass
- 34:31interference,
- 34:32>> right? They had like a they had a big
- 34:34drop by Medav then the one where he got
- 34:36clearly interfered with and those are
- 34:38like 230ish like they are they did throw
- 34:40it down the field
- 34:41>> and that's what the thing with McCarthy
- 34:42like we saw them push down the field and
- 34:44it didn't quite come off.
- 34:46>> That's the only thing that scares me
- 34:47about this but I agree with
- 34:48>> Ree
- 34:50and you like the under 42 and a half
- 34:52also.
- 34:52>> The the worst game of Drake May's
- 34:54regular season last year
- 34:56was against the Las Vegas Raiders. M
- 35:00>> and who was the defensive coordinator of
- 35:01the Las Vegas Raiders last year? Our
- 35:03man, mad man, Pat Graham.
- 35:05>> Mhm.
- 35:05>> And Graham's big thing is we will not
- 35:07get beat over the top. We are not going
- 35:09to blitz and we're going to get pressure
- 35:11with four and we're going to sit and
- 35:12we're going to make you be methodical.
- 35:14And that's really been a not how the
- 35:17Patriots have been successful. They
- 35:18forced down the field.
- 35:19And I think if there's any reaction we
- 35:22get from Drake May off of throwing three
- 35:24picks when he tried to throw down the
- 35:25field, he might be a little bit more
- 35:27conservative knowing that they're
- 35:29playing a a pretty limited offense in
- 35:31this game. So I agree with the under. I
- 35:34I was pretty impressed with Zacher and
- 35:35the defense in week one. I think this
- 35:37game gets played uh pretty similarly
- 35:40um to last year's meeting when there
- 35:42were no explosives and all the all the
- 35:43points came off turnovers.
- 35:45>> Can I just sidebar here? We'll get to
- 35:47your other leans. Uh, we'll zigzag back
- 35:49and forth, but he brought up the
- 35:51Patriots Raiders and it got me thinking
- 35:54like, you know, everybody loves the
- 35:56Cardinals now, and it seems like a lot
- 35:58of people love the Jets, but
- 36:01were we high on the Raiders after they
- 36:03beat the Patriots? Because they went on
- 36:05to be just as terrible as we thought
- 36:06they would be, right? So, one of these
- 36:08bad teams that lucked out and got a win
- 36:12or looked good and got a win in week one
- 36:14is going to be bad.
- 36:16>> So, what if it's the Raiders?
- 36:18They [laughter] could be the Raiders
- 36:19again. Yeah, but they they didn't beat,
- 36:21you know, they they didn't pull off like
- 36:22a 9.8 point underdog win. Yeah. So, all
- 36:26right. That's all I want to say.
- 36:27[clears throat] Go ahead, Rahee. Hit us
- 36:28with another one.
- 36:28>> Um, so this one's ugly. I'm going with
- 36:32the Browns Bucks over 40 and a half.
- 36:35>> Uh, I think the the the hypothesis for
- 36:38this is basically that I don't think the
- 36:40the Browns defense is any good this
- 36:41year. And, you know, maybe that's a
- 36:43strong reaction, but you know, they were
- 36:45down 14 nothing early in that game. that
- 36:47gave up 30 plus points to Jacksonville.
- 36:49I think Tampa Bay should be able to
- 36:51score some points. And I also think I
- 36:55mean you're dependent on Deshun Watson
- 36:57to, you know, to do his part in the job,
- 37:00but ultimately I think both of these
- 37:02teams could turn the ball over and you
- 37:03can get some short fields. I think 40
- 37:04and a half is short. I think this should
- 37:06probably be around 44.
- 37:09>> So, I'm going to go over there. And then
- 37:11the final one, I'm going to go with the
- 37:13Carolina Panthers. And this is just a a
- 37:17strict fade of Atlanta's quarterback
- 37:20situation.
- 37:21>> Yeah,
- 37:21>> Pennix might come back. He might not.
- 37:23>> No way he plays this week.
- 37:25>> But I mean, either way, you're going
- 37:26against Cooper Rush. And I just I I
- 37:29don't really have much respect for the
- 37:32Atlanta defense at this point. And then
- 37:33also, if you look offensively, they lost
- 37:35their guard, um, Chris, um, Linderbal.
- 37:39Um, and I think he is he's in a
- 37:42concussion concussion protocol. So, I
- 37:44think that puts him in a bad spot. Now,
- 37:46the one thing that's scary about this is
- 37:47that Carolina, they gave up nearly 300
- 37:50yards rushing last week to the Bears,
- 37:53but um
- 37:54>> pretty good running back they're facing
- 37:56this week.
- 37:56>> Yeah, but I mean like if you just you
- 37:58can load the box. You can load the box
- 38:00with and I don't think Cooper Rushing
- 38:03can beat you over the top. No,
- 38:05>> give me Carol.
- 38:06>> I see people who were betting leaning on
- 38:10betting big money on this Atlanta
- 38:12Carolina game as the same people who
- 38:14would sit down and play blackjack at
- 38:16where blackjack pays five to nine. Like
- 38:19what? Just stay away
- 38:21at all. You're just
- 38:22>> there's so much better crap out there.
- 38:25But
- 38:25>> I mean this this is a lean right now,
- 38:27but I'm probably going to be end up I'm
- 38:29probably going to end up like I mean
- 38:30because I think
- 38:31>> sometimes you find yourself in a
- 38:33position to where you you say to
- 38:34yourself this might be the last time I
- 38:36get a chance to capitalize off of a bad
- 38:39te.
- 38:39>> All right, that's true. Okay.
- 38:41>> Uh you know, it's funny. I was looking
- 38:43at teaser legs cuz I was mad about the
- 38:45Broncos last night. the number one
- 38:47teaser leg this week based on like the,
- 38:49you know, the the textbook definition.
- 38:51You get a divisional home dog over a
- 38:54touchdown with Atlanta and it's like
- 38:56you're supposed to bet that.
- 38:57>> Oh, no way.
- 38:58>> We just did that.
- 38:59>> Low low total,
- 39:00>> right?
- 39:01>> Home team, divisional game off a loss.
- 39:04It's like everything we we talk about
- 39:06with
- 39:06>> We literally just did that same scenario
- 39:09last night.
- 39:10>> It was a road team though, to be fair.
- 39:11>> A road team. What quarterback news would
- 39:14you like to hear to to feel better about
- 39:16your
- 39:17>> I think I want Penn in there.
- 39:19>> Fine.
- 39:20>> I would rather have Penn [laughter]
- 39:21on one leg just dropping back and
- 39:23throwing balls up to Drake London
- 39:25probably better
- 39:27>> than Cooper Rush.
- 39:28>> Penn with a do-agg covered over his face
- 39:30might be a better option. [laughter]
- 39:32>> And also, you know, again, you did see
- 39:35how creative they had to get
- 39:37>> with trying to get the ball out of Bjan.
- 39:38Like they were splitting him out. They
- 39:40were throwing bubble screens. regular
- 39:42screens, dump offs, slant
- 39:44>> and
- 39:45>> it's just an like why Drake London and
- 39:47Kyle Pitcher just doing cardio out
- 39:49there,
- 39:50>> right?
- 39:51>> Panics can at least get it to them, I
- 39:52think. But I I'm not betting the Falcons
- 39:55at least by by choice. So, not not
- 39:58>> Speaking of bad teams to Bundo, you have
- 40:00Dallas written down as a lean and then
- 40:02like 16 question marks. So, I don't know
- 40:03which way you're going with that.
- 40:05>> Uh I kind of like this matchup for
- 40:07Dallas. Um the commander secondary upon
- 40:12rewatch
- 40:14um I have two thoughts. One if the if
- 40:16the Eagles O line blocked a little
- 40:18better that would have been an ugly
- 40:20performance for the commander uglier
- 40:22performance for the commander secondary
- 40:23than it ended up being. They still had
- 40:25multiple coverage buffs. We know they
- 40:27want to bring pressure right the Dante
- 40:29Jones comes from the Flores scheme but
- 40:31you can't blitz Dak like teams who tried
- 40:33blitzing Dak. It never works. He carves
- 40:35it open. Pickings and Lamb, like I think
- 40:37they can kind of name their number. And
- 40:39could the Commanders do the same thing
- 40:41back? [snorts] Maybe. But this feels
- 40:43like
- 40:43>> Yes. Yes. They the freaking Giants ran a
- 40:45play four times in a row that the
- 40:47Cowboys couldn't get. You You can't You
- 40:48can't bet the Cowboys in any capacity
- 40:50until you see that these young guys,
- 40:52these eight new starters are
- 40:54>> also home Dallas though. We've been
- 40:56doing this for how many years now? S
- 40:58home Dallas.
- 41:00>> Great at home. Now, when Raheem and I
- 41:02saw the the beginning of the end to the
- 41:04Cowboys home um you know dominance when
- 41:07they lost to the Packers
- 41:10brutal.
- 41:11>> God bless. That was it. It was and then
- 41:13we've lost every game at home by 20
- 41:15since then. All right.
- 41:16>> So, I mean I thought that one then the
- 41:17first bet I made was Jags Broncos over
- 41:1944 and a half. Uh
- 41:22the Jags are going to test the
- 41:23secondary. The thing about Jacksonville
- 41:25is they're so good at spreading the ball
- 41:27around. They're not relying on one guy.
- 41:28So Certan cannot just I mean if Certan
- 41:31wants to shadow Brian Thomas all day
- 41:32that's fine. The the Jags don't use him
- 41:34anyway. Uh they might not be able to run
- 41:36the ball but I think they can throw it
- 41:38all over this defense. And then I think
- 41:40bounceback spot for the the Bick's
- 41:42disaster class in the home opener. Uh
- 41:44Jags going to elevation potential
- 41:46defense wearing out. All this points to
- 41:48this total being too low. It should be
- 41:50closer to 46 47. So Jags Broncos over
- 41:53Dallas. I haven't bet Dallas yet. I
- 41:55really
- 41:56>> look more like you. No, you know what
- 41:58though? That game is interesting because
- 42:00I'm thinking about that too as well.
- 42:02These two teams played last year.
- 42:04Dallas at home won 4422
- 42:08as one and a half point favorites.
- 42:11>> Who do Daniels played that game? What's
- 42:14the difference between
- 42:15>> Oh, that's right. We They blew the the
- 42:17off him defensively. Yeah.
- 42:18>> Yeah. Like what like what's what's the
- 42:20difference between like is the is the
- 42:22rosters that much different? the
- 42:24Commander defense is better, but yeah,
- 42:27you're right.
- 42:28>> You know, is it that much? And then
- 42:29obviously they did play on Christmas. I
- 42:31don't think Jayen Daniels played that
- 42:32game.
- 42:33>> No. Right.
- 42:34>> Yeah. So, it's like And I mean,
- 42:35>> we watched that game together. We had
- 42:37Cowboys team total. I had Cowboys team
- 42:38total over. I think they had like 20 at
- 42:41the half.
- 42:42>> It was just a beatd down.
- 42:43>> 27 points at the half. They went
- 42:46>> touchdown, field goal, touchdown, punt,
- 42:49field goal, touchdown in the first half.
- 42:51It was 27 to 15 at the break.
- 42:54>> You know what? I I'm going Dallas, too.
- 42:56>> I'm going down. This This is
- 42:58>> What's happening here?
- 42:59>> Look, [laughter] I'm going down with the
- 43:00[ __ ]
- 43:02>> You can go. You might as well You might
- 43:04as well go down with us.
- 43:05>> And I hated Washington. If you do
- 43:07anything with week one, I would have
- 43:08this line at six.
- 43:10>> The Cowboys defense was statistically
- 43:12worse than the Panthers who allowed 50.
- 43:14>> You know what? I don't think it was that
- 43:16bad. I think it was just
- 43:17>> No, it was that bad. No, you I'm I'm
- 43:20going to be honest with you. that bad?
- 43:21No, it was
- 43:21>> No, no. I'm I'm going to be real. If the
- 43:25Giants don't go nine for 11 on third
- 43:27down,
- 43:28>> but they were all like third and three.
- 43:30[laughter]
- 43:30>> No, there was there was some third and
- 43:3110 in there.
- 43:32>> Yeah. Well, that not great for the
- 43:34second play over and over.
- 43:35>> No, no. My my big thing is like the the
- 43:37power run game bullied them. Bore them
- 43:39down. It's not going to be the
- 43:40Commanders.
- 43:42>> All right. I don't [laughter] know.
- 43:44Again, bad tackling. I I'm I'm more
- 43:47confident in the Broncos bad tackling to
- 43:49rebound this week than I am the Cowboys
- 43:51with guys just missing assignments and
- 43:52looking at each other and I'm not sure I
- 43:54trust this new defensive
- 43:55>> Cowboys had two possessions in the
- 43:56second half.
- 43:58>> Yeah, but that that's the worst part of
- 44:00it that like that you can't have worse
- 44:01defense when you when you get slow get
- 44:04scored on slowly, right? Like when that
- 44:06and that's what the Giants did. You just
- 44:08don't have a chance at that point.
- 44:10>> Second most efficient offense in the
- 44:11NFL, the Dallas Cowboys.
- 44:13>> Their offense is good. And listen, I've
- 44:15come a long way. I'm You see the the the
- 44:18cardboard cutout in the background. I'm
- 44:19a big Romo fan. I might get I might be
- 44:22at the point where I feel worse luckwise
- 44:24for for Dak than I do for Romo.
- 44:28>> And really then that takes a that t this
- 44:30is like a decade of this now. This is
- 44:32this is really bad [ __ ]
- 44:33>> You know, I got to shout out my guy
- 44:35Jason Maples, you know, big um you know,
- 44:39basketball coach. He's a Cowboys fan as
- 44:41well.
- 44:42He says that he's rooting for the day in
- 44:44which Dak Prescott
- 44:47rei um you is with Shawn McVey and is
- 44:51having his Matthew Stafer era.
- 44:54>> Yeah.
- 44:54>> Yeah. There's a lot of comps. [laughter]
- 44:56>> Like I think that's going to happen at
- 44:58some point.
- 44:59>> If that were the QB of any other team,
- 45:01people would be like this guy's he would
- 45:03get the same Justin Herbert love.
- 45:05>> Yeah. We're a top five, six, seven team.
- 45:09Every year I make it to the finish line
- 45:10as a quarterback. Points scored. Um, and
- 45:13nothing
- 45:13>> I'm so mad you said Justin Herbert love
- 45:15too because Justin Herbert hasn't like
- 45:17accomplish anything what do Dak has
- 45:19accomplished.
- 45:20>> Oh, I agree. Look, I'm the biggest Dak
- 45:21fan. I might be a bigger Dak fan than
- 45:23both of y'all to be honest cuz I haven't
- 45:25had to deal cuz I don't get hurt when he
- 45:26plays bad in a playoff game or two. It
- 45:28doesn't bother me.
- 45:30>> Well, listen, we're not nearly at the
- 45:31playoffs, but we'll win these [laughter]
- 45:33effing games where he's playing well.
- 45:35>> I was digging around S, by the way. to
- 45:36the Jets.
- 45:38>> Should we start putting in the the
- 45:40anti-tomlin?
- 45:43>> So, Packers first half, Jets win the
- 45:45game.
- 45:46>> I see
- 45:47>> it is. It is plus 950.
- 45:49>> All right, let me write that down.
- 45:50That's not bad. [laughter]
- 45:52>> That's not bad.
- 45:54>> So, what is that? That's the uh the
- 45:56slice special. The the New York slice
- 45:58special. I don't know. Yeah. What would
- 46:00we call that? Yeah. No,
- 46:01>> it has to be something with Lafleur.
- 46:02Laflop.
- 46:03>> Oh, I see. The floor flop. Yeah. Matt
- 46:05Laflop. Yeah.
- 46:07>> In all serious, what is the I want to
- 46:09know the prices on Laflur to be the
- 46:11first first head coach fired.
- 46:13>> They just gave him a big extension ree.
- 46:15>> Oh wow.
- 46:15>> Yeah. But that's usually the kiss of
- 46:16death when you get an extension. Yeah.
- 46:19Depending on the organization they'll
- 46:21they'll cut you even. So I mean I think
- 46:23it happens contract extension in
- 46:25January. [snorts]
- 46:26>> Yeah.
- 46:27>> All right. I mean this Cowboys talk is
- 46:29just nuts. Uh I just I should remind you

- 47:28Connecticut. Major League Baseball. What
- 47:30do we have the Bundo? Where are we? How
- 47:32many games?
- 47:33>> A week and a half.
- 47:34>> 12 left for most teams.
- 47:36>> Wow. It does.
- 47:37>> Yep.
- 47:38>> There you go. And quickly, I do want to
- 47:40look at this because people should be
- 47:42making a bigger deal out of the um the
- 47:44first two buy thing, right? First two
- 47:46teams getting buys in each league. Now,
- 47:49is that shaping up? So, all right. So,
- 47:51Tampa's going to get one.
- 47:52>> Yep.
- 47:53>> And All right. So now it's still a
- 47:55battle between the White Socks,
- 47:57Guardians, Houston, and the Texas
- 47:59Rangers. That's three games separate
- 48:01those
- 48:02>> four teams.
- 48:03>> A huge mid- off. I mean, it's crazy.
- 48:05We've talked about this a few times. The
- 48:07unevenness of the bracket
- 48:09>> in the American League where the three
- 48:10best teams in the American League, the
- 48:12Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Rays will
- 48:14be on one half and the other half of the
- 48:16bracket will be some combination of
- 48:18White Socks, Guardians, Astros, Rangers,
- 48:20and maybe Toronto sneaks in in the back.
- 48:23Uh it's it's brutal, man. It's it's
- 48:26right now you can bet like which
- 48:28division will win the American League
- 48:30and the AL East is minus 190.
- 48:33>> So you're betting whoever whoever comes
- 48:36out. Well, it's only going to be one of
- 48:37them though. You can't even get
- 48:38headto-head. So whichever one of them
- 48:40comes out, you have minus 190 against
- 48:42the the [ __ ] team that wins the other
- 48:44>> side of the bracket.
- 48:45>> And right now the White Socks have been
- 48:47really struggling down the stretch here.
- 48:49They beat the Guardians last night. The
- 48:51Astros are 500 team despite having the
- 48:53best hitter in the league this year,
- 48:55>> right?
- 48:58>> I mean, none of those teams are any
- 48:59good.
- 49:00>> Yeah.
- 49:01>> And in the National League, it's it's
- 49:03going to be the Brewers. I hope they
- 49:06hang on. They have a two game lead for
- 49:08that one seed with, like you said, and
- 49:10[clears throat] the tiebreaker. So, two
- 49:11and a half essentially with 12 left. But
- 49:13the Dodgers uh are kind of pulling away
- 49:16from the Braves for that second seed and
- 49:18and to get the buy. Um, and that's all
- 49:20they need. So, they they have a three
- 49:22and a half game lead over the Braves for
- 49:24that. So, anyway, um, let's uh let's
- 49:27give some value picks to Bundle for the
- 49:28rest of the regular season. A week and a
- 49:30half, division winners to make the
- 49:32playoffs. I don't know, most home runs.
- 49:33What are you going to hit us with?
- 49:35>> Yeah, it's hard to come up with much
- 49:37because like we said, like the the
- 49:39awards are done, right? We have all the
- 49:40the six main awards are pretty much
- 49:42decided by the odds. And to me, that
- 49:44makes sense. Uh, so I was thinking about
- 49:47what do I want to watch happen in the
- 49:49last two weeks of the season? What am I
- 49:50going to be watching? And you know, Bill
- 49:52had a good rant about the Mariners and I
- 49:54share my
- 49:54>> Oh, I missed that. I didn't hear I
- 49:56didn't hear that. [laughter]
- 49:57>> Yeah, I think you were there for it. Uh,
- 50:01the rest of that division is equally
- 50:04shameful and I think I want to root
- 50:05against them because every time the
- 50:07Astros and Rangers lose, it reflects
- 50:09even more poorly on the Mariners. And
- 50:10now I want the Mariners to feel pain
- 50:12>> because their their general manager the
- 50:14big thing he said we want to win, you
- 50:16know, 50 55% of our games every year and
- 50:19then we're going to be in the mix to to
- 50:20compete for a title because we're going
- 50:22to be in the playoffs every year. And
- 50:24this year all they needed to do was win
- 50:2551% of their games to make the playoffs
- 50:28>> and they can't do that. They've won 46%.
- 50:30So I'm rooting against the Astros and
- 50:32the Rangers in the last two weeks.
- 50:35>> Okay.
- 50:35>> Astros under 81 and a half wins. They're
- 50:38currently 500. So then to go six and six
- 50:40or worse.
- 50:42Rangers under 80 and a half wins for
- 50:44them to go six and six or worse. So
- 50:46neither team will have a winning record
- 50:47in the final 12 games. They don't play
- 50:50each other which is a good thing to
- 50:51avoid.
- 50:52>> Plus 240. I'm rooting against the
- 50:54American League West. Yes.
- 50:56>> Huh. Interesting.
- 50:57>> I'm so tired of this division. And if
- 50:59the Mariners hadn't blown like three
- 51:01games in the last month against the
- 51:03freaking A's, they would probably still
- 51:05be in position to win the division. But
- 51:07they're not. They are dead now.
- 51:09All right. I like that. You
- 51:10>> probably need to win 11 in a row to have
- 51:11a chance.
- 51:11>> Raheem shake because that that just
- 51:13seems purely emotional bet.
- 51:15>> Oh, it is. Yes. Raheem shaking his head.
- 51:18That's not how you do business here.
- 51:19>> No, [laughter] not happy with me. He
- 51:21knows it's a bad bet. But I don't care.
- 51:23>> All right. I'm going to pick the Blue
- 51:26Jays to make the playoffs at plus 205.
- 51:28And this is all scheduling based, right?
- 51:30So even with the loss yesterday, they're
- 51:32a game behind Cleveland for the final
- 51:34wild card spot. They're 10 and six in
- 51:37the OS 16. The Guardians still have the
- 51:39White Socks and Red Sox to play. The
- 51:40Blue Jays. Sears against the Tigers and
- 51:43Rangers who are both under 500. I know
- 51:45the Rangers are in the mix there. The
- 51:46Orioles. There you go. The Orioles who
- 51:49are last in the AL East and the Reds to
- 51:51end the season since he's last in the NL
- 51:53Central and have the worst batting
- 51:54average in uh baseball. And I'll have
- 51:56more to say about them in a second. I
- 51:58think 82 Dundo is the magic number for
- 52:00that six spot. What do you think? 82 and
- 52:0280 takes that six seed.
- 52:04>> Probably right in there. So that's seven
- 52:06and four for Toronto and I think that's
- 52:08doable for John Schneider's mostly
- 52:11disappointing as Raheem pointed out. We
- 52:13went over the most disappointed baseball
- 52:15teams. The Jays, I have them to sneak
- 52:18into the postseason, but if they don't,
- 52:19you could put them in the top three for
- 52:21sure for most disappointing. Raheem, you
- 52:23just um you like a Well, this is going
- 52:25to take a little longer to come in, but
- 52:27what what's your pick here?
- 52:28>> Yeah, I'm just [snorts] going with the
- 52:28Yankees. Um you know, obviously Judge
- 52:31hit his first home run back last night.
- 52:33I think they get this lineup going. I
- 52:35think they have the pitching to make a
- 52:36make some noise. Plus 750. Just a flyer
- 52:39for me. Not the strongest play. I don't
- 52:41have any math on it. I don't have a
- 52:42model for baseball. So, I'm pretty much
- 52:45just, you know,
- 52:46>> Mhm.
- 52:47>> taking a a half court shot on this.
- 52:50>> There you go. I take the small victories
- 52:52when it comes to Mets over the Yankees.
- 52:53Mets lost two out of three. But, uh,
- 52:55Garrett Cole, did you see this to Bundo?
- 52:57He waited until to throw his first
- 53:00pitch. He waited. There's a clock for
- 53:03when the first pitch should start. So,
- 53:04it was like a minute. There's a minute
- 53:06and 40 seconds where he was on the
- 53:08mound. He was set to go. He could have
- 53:10thrown the first pitch, but whether it's
- 53:11superstition or not, he didn't.
- 53:13>> First pitch gone. Home run. I like that.
- 53:16To me, that's it. That it means the Mets
- 53:18are better than the Yankees. I could
- 53:19file that away.
- 53:20>> You also failed to mention the biggest
- 53:23development of the Toronto Jays season.
- 53:25>> Oh, what happened? Vlad Guerrero hit his
- 53:28first home run at the Rogers Center all
- 53:30year last weekend.
- 53:32>> I mean, just an absolutely ridiculous
- 53:34stat.
- 53:35>> How are they anywhere near contention
- 53:37with that [clears throat] being a a true
- 53:39fact?
- 53:41>> That's unbelievable.
- 53:43>> Mets are the two teams that are the
- 53:45biggest disappointment this year.
- 53:46>> They were literally playing each other
- 53:47in the ALCS last year and now they're
- 53:49both under 500 and probably going to
- 53:50miss the playoffs.
- 53:51>> The Mets, I mean, you have to you have
- 53:53to
- 53:53>> It's not the Mets. Sorry.
- 53:55>> The Mets.
- 53:57We have metrics now to measure this. The
- 53:59Mets disappointment by over on the win
- 54:01total. Didn't they have more than
- 54:03Seattle?
- 54:05>> They had 89 or something.
- 54:06>> It was the same number. Yeah.
- 54:08>> Yeah. Okay. All right. Definitely
- 54:10disappointing for me. All right. Let's
- 54:12do this Tuesday plays of the day. How
- 54:15did we do yesterday? We had Oh, yeah.
- 54:16You guys had the unders, right? I had
- 54:19Alonzo to hit a home run. It didn't
- 54:20happen. I recommend rolling that over in
- 54:23uh City Field today, but that's that's
- 54:24not my best bet. Raheem, let's start
- 54:26with you.
- 54:26>> Yeah, I'm going with the Cubs. I I just
- 54:29think they win this game. That's just
- 54:31what it is. I'm I'm I'm fading Martin
- 54:33Perez.
- 54:34>> Perez guys owned me.
- 54:37>> Is
- 54:38>> he has
- 54:39>> he has stole your good even though his
- 54:41metrics don't think he should be good.
- 54:44>> Uh the Cubs crush lefties. So that means
- 54:46Perez will probably throw six shut out
- 54:48tonight.
- 54:48>> Yeah. I mean, God [laughter] hasn't been
- 54:50great.
- 54:50>> [ __ ] that team, man. I'm so tired of
- 54:53them,
- 54:53>> right? This is Raheem's pick. What are
- 54:55you going with?
- 54:56>> I mean, Guzman hasn't been great, but
- 54:59>> I just think he's the I think the Cubs
- 55:01are the favorite for the reason. So, I'm
- 55:02going to trust the sports books on this
- 55:03one.
- 55:04>> Okay. All right. Well done. See, now
- 55:06it's your turn.
- 55:07>> Well, I was going to use the Cubs
- 55:08because I bet them today, too. So, Perez
- 55:10owns my ass. But,
- 55:12>> uh, number one in the league against
- 55:14lefties, the Chicago Cubs. Uh, so that
- 55:16hopefully they can they can get some
- 55:18going, but honestly it's a it's a funny
- 55:19thing because the Braves, you know, they
- 55:21steal two games against the Phils,
- 55:22basically wrap up the division and then
- 55:25now that the Phillies fans need the
- 55:26Braves to start winning, they lose last
- 55:29night. So I'm really tired of this team.
- 55:31Uh, all due respect to my fellow Braves
- 55:33fans, [laughter] uh, White Sox guardians
- 55:35under eight and a half minus 110. This
- 55:37managed like a playoff game. Uh, two two
- 55:40pretty bad offenses. White Sox offense
- 55:42quietly sinking uh, the last two weeks.
- 55:44Um, I think that there is a risk when
- 55:47you get these really young teams that
- 55:48they all hit the kind of like rookieish
- 55:50wall down toward the end of the season.
- 55:52So, uh, I'm gonna go White Sox guards
- 55:54under eight and a half and count on a
- 55:57very good Guardians bullpen to keep the
- 55:59scoring down here.
- 56:00>> All right, I'm going Dodgers minus run a
- 56:02half over the Reds. I believe I took
- 56:04this exact pitching matchup last week
- 56:06with success. And the great thing about
- 56:08sports gambling is recent sports
- 56:10wagering success always repeats itself
- 56:13like clockwork. No, that's not true. But
- 56:15I'm I'm taking a chance again. I'm
- 56:18thinking Dodgers laying the run the
- 56:19half. Red's one and six over the last
- 56:21seven. Includes getting swept by the
- 56:23Dodgers last week. And in those last
- 56:25seven, the Reds have been outscored
- 56:2663-20. If a team has given up, it's the
- 56:30Cincinnati Reds. Dodgers 9-2 in their
- 56:32last 11. Yamamoto beat the Reds 14 to1
- 56:36last week. And then you have Rhett
- 56:37Lauder for Cincy. Couldn't get out of
- 56:39the fourth inning in Chavez Ravine. Last
- 56:41week, Dodgers touched him up for seven.
- 56:43So, we're looking at a I'm going to say
- 56:4574 final tonight at the Great American
- 56:49Ballpark. Is that uh the bundle? Is that
- 56:51just a wonderful name for a stadium or
- 56:53is Great American a bank I'm not
- 56:55familiar with?
- 56:56>> No, I think it's just a great name
- 56:57>> really. I used to call people like to
- 56:59call it Great American Small Park
- 57:01>> as well because it's so tiny and people
- 57:03always hit home runs there.
- 57:04>> Yeah, but but that's just a
- 57:06nationalistic. That's just good. Okay, I
- 57:08like that. I'll take that.
- 57:10>> Raheem, what do you got going on rest of
- 57:12the week? Where could people find you on
- 57:13Twitter?
- 57:14>> Um you guys can find me on here. I mean,
- 57:16we'll be back on Thursday. We'll be back
- 57:18on Friday. Um
- 57:21>> about
- 57:23stack now. Um I I soft launched last
- 57:25week. We're going to put some NBA win
- 57:27totals up soon. I'm about to get into
- 57:29that. Um,
- 57:31but besides that, it's just football.
- 57:33NFL, NBA, we locked in.
- 57:36>> Football and great food and uh and
- 57:39hitting the gym, man.
- 57:40>> Almost definitely. I got two 80 80 lb
- 57:43dumbbells. I'm I'm I'm getting strong.
- 57:45I'm getting as strong as I used to be.
- 57:47>> God, like I was a little weak because I
- 57:50had some injuries last year, you know,
- 57:52some calf injuries, but I'm I'm healthy
- 57:54now. Look at you, Dundo. You can't even
- 57:57comprehend what 280 lb dumbbells is for
- 58:00let alone a guy the size of Raheem. But
- 58:02that that's that's impressive.
- 58:04>> I'm doing a yoga class later if that
- 58:06gives you any inclination of where my my
- 58:08journey. Yeah,
- 58:09>> Ad's actually worked out with me before.
- 58:11He's seen he's seen me get busy at 4.
- 58:14>> Yeah, it was like 5 in the morning.
- 58:16>> You know, I was I was really riding the
- 58:18bike uh trying to get some energy out
- 58:20because I was too amped up after that
- 58:21finals win and it was 6:00 a.m. in
- 58:23Sweden. But uh yeah, [clears throat]
- 58:26>> made like the whole ringer staff work
- 58:27out with me.
- 58:28>> The kettle bells on the workout mat was
- 58:31lifting and I was just riding the bike
- 58:32with my AirPods in. So
- 58:34>> there you go.
- 58:35>> The bundle. You wear a weighted vest
- 58:36when you do yoga or no?
- 58:38>> No.
- 58:39>> Okay. All right.
- 58:40>> I don't know if there's a ring or core
- 58:41week this year,
- 58:43>> but we're gonna have to find a gym and
- 58:45I'm making the whole staff work out with
- 58:46me. [laughter] Kobe.
- 58:49>> Okay. I really
- 58:50>> I heard Van be boxing too. Tell Van he
- 58:53could spar me.
- 58:54>> There's video of it, right? He was like
- 58:56backing Joel down. Joel's like, "All
- 58:58right." Joel's like, "Even in this play
- 59:00fighting, I want no part."
- 59:02>> He's He's tall for me, though. Honestly,
- 59:04I don't know how to reach.
- 59:06>> I don't know how I'm going past trying
- 59:08to go up against him, you know?
- 59:09>> I know. You're going to have to just jab
- 59:11the body and then get out uh as quick as
- 59:13you can. We didn't talk about that
- 59:15fight. Uh a two rounder, right?
- 59:17>> Oh, that was crazy.
- 59:18>> Ryan Garcia. Oh,
- 59:20>> what was he? Minus 220 or 240 or
- 59:22something. I should have just jumped on
