129. 6:40to himself.
130. 6:42He told me no, that I had heard wrong,
131. 6:44but I think he was talking to someone on
132. 6:47that damn tablet.
133. 6:49>> That's not possible, Mom.
134. 6:52He doesn't have profiles on any social
135. 6:53network.
136. 6:54Did you see it?
137. 6:56>> No, he showed me the video game, but I
138. 6:58don't know about those things, honey.
139. 7:00But you do.
140. 7:02Go check it, please. It's not necessary
141. 7:05.
142. 7:06The tablet has safety locks so that
143. 7:07Chava can't see any content that isn't
144. 7:09for kids.
145. 7:10Take a look, honey. I beg you.
146. 7:17>> I have to do it.
147. 7:23Lalito.
148. 7:24I don't want to.
149. 7:30I have to have the courage
150. 7:34to hurt him.
151. 7:36Forgive me, little brother.
152. 7:39Forgive me.
153. 7:44>> What's wrong, Chava?
154. 7:46>> I am asking my little brother to forgive
155. 7:49me.
156. 7:49>> Why? Why does Momo want me to
157. 7:54and I don't want to?
158. 7:58It's Momo.
159. 8:00It's Momo.
160. 8:12You found something on our son's tablet
161. 8:13, officer?
162. 8:14>> Yes, ma'am. Apparently, there is
163. 8:16something in the operating system.
164. 8:18It must have been installed by the
165. 8:19hacker who got into the tablet posing as
166. 8:21Momo.
167. 8:22Yes, guys, I saw it. Momo is really ugly
168. 8:25.
169. 8:26>> The first thing you need to know is that
170. 8:27Momo doesn't exist, girl.
171. 8:29>> It does exist.
172. 8:31I saw it, and it even talked to me.
173. 8:34It had a woman's voice and it was scary
174. 8:37.
175. 8:38>> The Momo character has been used by bad
176. 8:41people to scare others, but it's not
177. 8:43real. But guys, wasn't this Momo
178. 8:45challenge something that went viral on
179. 8:47social media about a year ago or so?
180. 8:49>> That's right, sir. It started as a joke
181. 8:51on WhatsApp and apparently, it has
182. 8:52returned, appearing in children's videos
183. 8:54just like what happened to your son.
184. 8:56>> It appeared to Alito, too.
185. 8:59>> I understand a tablet can be a relief,
186. 9:00but you should never give one to a child
187. 9:02with complete freedom.
188. 9:05They are vulnerable beings who are
189. 9:07exposed to ugly, bad people on the
190. 9:08internet, just looking for ways to cause
191. 9:10harm.
192. 9:12Yes, Mom, you were right.
193. 9:14You always told me, and I didn't want to
194. 9:16listen to you.
195. 9:17Forgive me, both of you.
