- 0:00I remember when all the talk about MK
- 0:02Ultra broke and then they were talking
- 0:04about lawsuits and there were lawsuits
- 0:06and CIA and the federal government said
- 0:09that this didn't exist and then they
- 0:10came back and said, "Well, it does
- 0:12exist." And then uh but we're not doing
- 0:14it anymore. I guess my question to y'all
- 0:17first is which lie do we do we believe?
- 0:21Cuz
- 0:24Thank you.
- 0:28Obviously, there was an open bar before
- 0:30this thing started. So, thank y'all. But
- 0:32um Dr. Kinzer
- 0:37Hit your mic, brother. You're not on the
- 0:38mic. It's an old CIA trick.
- 0:41>> I'm just kidding.
- 0:42>> I put myself in the place of one of
- 0:44those senior CIA officers and I'm
- 0:46thinking to myself like the ones back in
- 0:48the 1950s. Well, other people must be
- 0:51doing this. Uh we'd be falling behind if
- 0:53we don't do it. And nobody's looking
- 0:55over our shoulders. And that I think is
- 0:57is your job. So, I I think there is a
- 1:00definite uh
- 1:02air of urgency and total secrecy. Um if
- 1:07the if any current research is going on
- 1:10and if it's conducted in any comparable
- 1:13level of secrecy to the original MK
- 1:15Ultra, it's very deeply secret.
- 1:17>> But one thing you said though, it's
- 1:19going to be hard for Congress to act
- 1:21when they're so dadgum compromised.
- 1:23Let's just be honest. I mean, y'all are
- 1:26in the business of
- 1:28of
- 1:29twisting ears and and telling us
- 1:32things that we've done.
- 1:35And that that that sways a lot of people
- 1:38up here. Somebody doesn't want to wreck
- 1:39a marriage or their business or lose
- 1:41this glamorous job that we have.
- 1:44Um and so I I I suspect that has a lot
- 1:47of play into it. Sorry to interrupt you.
- 1:50I'm
- 1:51I apologize.
- 1:52>> All I mean to say is that I think if
- 1:55there are such projects going on inside
- 1:58the US government, uh there there might
- 2:00be a sense that we can do this without
- 2:04any hostile supervision.
- 2:06>> What are the possibilities that
- 2:08that what we've learned in MK-Ultra, now
- 2:11that it has advanced so much to
- 2:13algorithms and and the computer and
- 2:16getting to
- 2:18loners that some of these loners could
- 2:22through this just mass
- 2:24propagation of whatever you're doing
- 2:27uh could cause someone to maybe take a
- 2:30shot at a president.
- 2:37>> I
- 2:38I know there's a lot of speculation out
- 2:39there about the uh Butler shooting and I
- 2:43guess even the Charlie Kirk shooting.
- 2:46I just hate to speculate um
- 2:49because I don't know. I have no
- 2:50firsthand knowledge whether those guys
- 2:52were programmed through radio waves
- 2:55or through their computer activity. So,
- 2:58I would never hazard a guess except to
- 3:01say what I've already said that they
- 3:03developed means that we've never been
- 3:05told about many, many years ago and I
- 3:09imagine they've evolved to be much more
- 3:11effective now as well.
- 3:12>> Let me interrupt you one more time and I
- 3:14apologize again, but don't you think
- 3:16that they can cast this broad net
- 3:18through these algorithms and other
- 3:20things and maybe they don't know the
- 3:22exact person it's going to affect, but
- 3:24they know what type of person it's going
- 3:25to affect and they know it's going to
- 3:27happen and that way they can they can't
- 3:29predict when it's going to happen, but
- 3:31they think it will happen and then that
- 3:33way they can sort of wash their hands of
- 3:35this whole thing
- 3:37and say we didn't have anything to do
- 3:38with it, but in effect they really did
- 3:40because they uh
- 3:42they put this out there and they
- 3:43continue to put it out there
- 3:45through whatever method you're talking
- 3:47about. Go ahead, guys. I'm sorry. Ma'am,
- 3:49if you want to jump in.
- 3:50>> She's with the NIH.
- 3:51>> Okay.
- 3:53Doctor, go ahead.
- 3:54>> It sounds to me like you're describing
- 3:56something like the Martin Luther King
- 3:58assassination. The FBI didn't carry it
- 4:00out, but it created such a climate just
- 4:03denouncing King as the most dangerous
- 4:05man in America and putting out all this
- 4:07material about how he was helping
- 4:08communists that they must have thought
- 4:11it's going to filter down. Somebody will
- 4:13take action and then we can say we
- 4:14didn't have anything to do with it.
- 4:16>> And James Earl Ray was
- 4:18a third-rate thief.
- 4:20He made an incredible shot, one foot on
- 4:22a commode, one foot in a in a bathtub.
- 4:25Uh leaning out of a window, basically,
- 4:28and um
- 4:29the next day they um or that afternoon
- 4:31all the shrubbery was cut in front of
- 4:33the flop house he was staying in.
- 4:34There's a lot on that one that will
- 4:36never be discussed. I have some friends
- 4:38that were there. So, I guess I could I'm
- 4:40on
- 4:41pretty close to first-hand knowledge,
- 4:43but um yeah, I'm sorry.
- 4:46I'm probably going to get audited when I
- 4:47walk out of the room. I just I know it,
- 4:49so.
- 4:50Thank you. Um Chairlady, I yield back my
- 4:53four seconds.
