- 0:39let's get into the review so tomorrow
- 0:41mars and karen now you guys know i've
- 0:43been um
- 0:44quite harsh on karen and quite harsh um
- 0:47on woody as well um but yeah we're going
- 0:49to talk about that so
- 0:50um with the mars and current situation i
- 0:52think you saw in this episode
- 0:54i'm still not happy with why am i still
- 0:56not happy because
- 0:57as much as i really um can see that
- 0:59these two could
- 1:00make something work there's obviously a
- 1:03hurdle and a barrier to get over
- 1:05right we heard from the very first
- 1:06episode karen saying you know he's too
- 1:08emotional
- 1:09and also the fact that she obviously
- 1:12finding out that he's younger than her
- 1:13by four years at least
- 1:15um that plays a psychological effect now
- 1:17many people might say 18 nothing by the
- 1:19number
- 1:20but it is a number okay and it's a
- 1:22number and it's also a psychological
- 1:24effect why because
- 1:25socially as human beings we tend to
- 1:28mutter and
- 1:29and and have a problem when there is an
- 1:31age gap right
- 1:33and that and that ends up being uh i
- 1:35guess
- 1:36uh a reason as to why some people break
- 1:39up because we'll say oh the reason why
- 1:40you broke up because the age weren't
- 1:41right
- 1:42and there was an age gap between two now
- 1:44when a woman's older than a man
- 1:46um because of what society has said we
- 1:48always say that women grow up faster
- 1:50than men women are more mature than men
- 1:51so therefore choosing a man younger than
- 1:53you
- 1:53is actually like suicide because
- 1:55actually what you're saying is
- 1:56a man who hasn't matured at 26 how it
- 1:59amanda's at 26 is still behind the woman
- 2:02who's at 26 because
- 2:03the woman matures faster so imagine if
- 2:05you're 30 and he's 26 right
- 2:08um so now it's now every single action
- 2:12becomes magnifying let me give an
- 2:13example right now okay
- 2:16open yourself up little brother
- 2:19shake it off
- 2:22even me i looked and i thought he looks
- 2:24hella young there not that he is young
- 2:26but
- 2:26he looks hella young now in comparison
- 2:28to them right because in my mind
- 2:30the information that's coming in is
- 2:32starting to determine a picture that i'm
- 2:34beginning to see
- 2:35because it's my perception right so i
- 2:37can only imagine what was going through
- 2:39um you know uh karen's head when she's
- 2:42seen
- 2:42certain behavior like that but let's
- 2:44just dive a little bit deeper into
- 2:45actual show as well
- 2:46so um obviously um
- 2:49you know with karen and miles uh the
- 2:51very first thing they spoke about was
- 2:52that you know what she's
- 2:53quite fearful because obviously she's
- 2:54never lived with another person before
- 2:56living another guy before
- 2:58uh miles hasn't necessarily another
- 3:00female in terms of her partner
- 3:02but has lived in female before um and so
- 3:04then she goes on to say something which
- 3:05is really interesting she goes
- 3:06um she's scared um about things
- 3:10because i'm not used to sharing my space
- 3:12and i'm just worried about just
- 3:14like moments where i want alone time i
- 3:17guess
- 3:18like everybody needs a space in
- 3:19relationship okay everybody does
- 3:21right um we all need it because we only
- 3:24time to reflect we only time to
- 3:25recalibrate we all need it time to to
- 3:28adjust ourselves and find ourselves
- 3:30and where we are now when i heard karen
- 3:33say that
- 3:33part of me was thinking i know why
- 3:36you're saying that you're saying that
- 3:38because it's a form of protection
- 3:39rather than actually i need a breather
- 3:41it's a form of protection to give myself
- 3:43so i don't lose myself in you
- 3:45so that if i and so and because i don't
- 3:47want to lose myself in use because i
- 3:48want to protect myself from being hurt
- 3:50right if i don't lose myself in you i
- 3:51still have control right because the
- 3:53whole thing about love is this
- 3:55as the bible says it is about mutual
- 3:57submission to one another yeah
- 3:59contrary to what a lot of people believe
- 4:00because they don't read the whole of the
- 4:01bible it's not just men and women
- 4:03it's not just women submitting to men
- 4:04the bible says submit to one another
- 4:07the bible says that your body is his
- 4:08body his body is yours
- 4:10you have something it's a mutual
- 4:12submission when you're in love with the
- 4:13other person right
- 4:14and so what you're what you see from a
- 4:16relationship is that when you've been
- 4:18hurt
- 4:19and you want to protect yourself one of
- 4:21the ways that we do this in
- 4:22relationships
- 4:22is to make sure we still have control so
- 4:25we don't want to fall too deep in love
- 4:26that we are moved by our emotions we
- 4:28don't fall too deep in love so that we
- 4:30can
- 4:31stand strong and say uh and have have
- 4:34complete control over how we feel so
- 4:36that we can determine
- 4:37the course of actions right um it's
- 4:39often a fear
- 4:41um that we feel um
- 4:44towards uh the relationship
- 4:47because we are scared that if we allow
- 4:49ourselves to be too vulnerable
- 4:51you will take advantage that's what
- 4:52we've experienced in the past and we
- 4:53don't experience it again
- 4:54right and so one of the ways that you
- 4:56protect yourself by saying i need my
- 4:58space
- 4:58right but that i need my support
- 5:00oftentimes okay i can tell you because i
- 5:02am one of those people that needs a
- 5:03space
- 5:04it is coming from a place of try not to
- 5:06lose yourself in that person
- 5:08because you might have done that
- 5:08previously and they hurt you now we know
- 5:10this is true because
- 5:11when karen goes on to speak about her
- 5:13situation and relationship
- 5:15she does speak about the fact that she
- 5:17has been hurt by her previous boyfriend
- 5:19her boyfriend of five years not only
- 5:20this she said they were already having
- 5:21relationship problems what topped off
- 5:23the cake
- 5:24what was the cherry on the icing on the
- 5:25cake okay um
- 5:27was the fact that uh you know the she
- 5:30found out that he
- 5:31got his ex pregnant right so imagine
- 5:35imagine um or got another girl pregnant
- 5:37imagine
- 5:38the mindset of now karen it's a siege
- 5:40mentality
- 5:41what you have to understand is when you
- 5:42get cheated on and you get cheated on a
- 5:44certain way just like brett got cheated
- 5:46we're going to discuss him as well
- 5:47that the mind goes into a siege
- 5:49mentality why it wants to protect itself
- 5:51it wants to make sure that no one else
- 5:53can hurt hurt hurt it right
- 5:55so you have to find a way of being able
- 5:57to deflect
- 5:58the oncoming enemy the enemy's love why
- 6:01because when
- 6:02we we noticed a pattern when we fell in
- 6:04love we felt vulnerable and your mind
- 6:06tells you hey you fell in love last time
- 6:08you were vulnerable and you got taken
- 6:10advantage of how do i change that
- 6:11well you'd be crazy to continue the same
- 6:13thing so the mind says
- 6:15no in order for us to be able to make
- 6:18sure that this we don't get we don't get
- 6:19hurt again because our mind remember the
- 6:21the the soul the mind it wants to
- 6:23protect itself you understand it the ego
- 6:26and the pride has to protect itself
- 6:27because
- 6:27it doesn't get hurt again your heart
- 6:29doesn't get broken again so
- 6:31what it does is it puts you into a siege
- 6:32mentality which is that
- 6:34you have to you have to any hostile in
- 6:36any hostile
- 6:37um coming your way got a nuke it
- 6:39straight away antibodies got a nuke any
- 6:41virus inside any
- 6:42bacteria inside nothing's getting past
- 6:44the barrier right and that's what we're
- 6:46seeing from karen in a way
- 6:47so it's not as it's not as prominent as
- 6:49other people but you can see there's
- 6:51aspects of that she's been hurt in the
- 6:53past and now
- 6:54she's got a man that's younger okay um
- 6:57i've got a man that's
- 6:58um you know that she feels overly
- 7:00emotional okay
- 7:02um and and and potentially you've got a
- 7:05mixture of
- 7:06your upbringing plus your experiences
- 7:08kind of making you feel a certain way in
- 7:09terms of the kind of guy you want to
- 7:10choose
- 7:11right um because for her for instance
- 7:14making that comment that he's too
- 7:15emotional
- 7:16what does that mean it means that listen
- 7:17from what i've experienced
- 7:19um i have not dated many men who are
- 7:21that in tune with emotions
- 7:23you know they're more stoic they're more
- 7:25usually
- 7:27so to see that that could be a problem
- 7:29why because it's foreign to me
- 7:31um you know what i'm saying and also
- 7:33maybe she also is carrying a lot of
- 7:35masculine energy which is
- 7:36and mastering energy doesn't often deal
- 7:38with emotions
- 7:39the feminine feminine aspect of us deals
- 7:41with emotion if you've dealt with a
- 7:43father figure who is very masculine and
- 7:45very regimented and not going to come
- 7:47outside of confinement
- 7:48and deal with emotions very often then
- 7:51what can happen is
- 7:52the child picks up on that and
- 7:54especially as a girl she picks up the
- 7:56masculine energy
- 7:57when she enters into a relationship she
- 7:59does not recognize or does not compute
- 8:01feminine energy on that level from a man
- 8:03because that to her
- 8:04is not masculine do you understand what
- 8:07i'm saying so
- 8:08when he's bringing the emotions it's not
- 8:10registered in her mind now let's go on a
- 8:11bit further
- 8:12into the actual conversation they had um
- 8:15you know because uh you know i obviously
- 8:19miles made a comment a
- 8:20slide comment and again it's a little
- 8:22thing but i'm picking up on these little
- 8:23things
- 8:24um he said obviously he picked out the
- 8:25sunshades for her and i said oh
- 8:26fantastic look that's showing a bit more
- 8:28uh you know forward thinking we like
- 8:30that um you know
- 8:32and then he got onto the boat and you
- 8:35know obviously
- 8:35miles was saying obviously he that's my
- 8:37stranger i'm her stranger okay okay
- 8:40so you belong to each other yeah so
- 8:42break it down i appreciate the fact that
- 8:44you know what
- 8:44they've moved from strangers to my
- 8:47stranger now here's my thing
- 8:49again uh remember the kind of woman that
- 8:51she is so this is in relation to who
- 8:52karen is
- 8:53i just don't again this is just like the
- 8:55bed situation that i said
- 8:57i didn't like the fact that he slept it
- 8:59seemed like he slept for a moment or
- 9:00time it could have been
- 9:01or couldn't i don't know he wanted to
- 9:03rub her feet and sleep at the end of the
- 9:04bed
- 9:04yeah but then now obviously he's he's
- 9:07almost excited but the fact that he's
- 9:09no longer a stranger but my stranger and
- 9:11he sees it as progress and i do there is
- 9:13some progress to it i'm going to
- 9:14there's an aspect of progress to it but
- 9:16as a masculine male
- 9:18who's carrying a lot of masculine energy
- 9:21right um
- 9:22go getting you know making sure that you
- 9:24are about completing tasks objectives
- 9:26you're the hunter yeah
- 9:28the hunter is not satisfied with this
- 9:29position like
- 9:31other man would have been like well i'm
- 9:33still i'm my stranger
- 9:35like no no no no i can't rock on that
- 9:37right this is why a lot of women like
- 9:38bad boys it's not the fact that the bad
- 9:40boy the bad boys is kind of a lot of
- 9:41masculine energy like
- 9:42i'm just being real with you the bad
- 9:44boy's got confidence the bad boy's
- 9:45um is assertive he's firm yeah there's
- 9:48some other qualities i'm not great but
- 9:49he's these that he is also those
- 9:51are positive things what i'm seeing for
- 9:53miles is very caring
- 9:55nurturing very endearing and loving
- 9:58and these are great qualities having
- 9:59richard you need it right
- 10:01like no man should go into [ __ ] and not
- 10:02have these qualities but
- 10:04when they override and there is no
- 10:06assertiveness and no firmness
- 10:08there's a problem right and that's what
- 10:10i'm saying to you like in this part when
- 10:11he's always saying
- 10:12my uh we've upgraded to my stranger
- 10:14listen if if you're telling me that i'm
- 10:15gonna be like i'm not satisfied with
- 10:16that like i'm going to make sure that
- 10:17you
- 10:18know that you're not going to be my
- 10:19stranger it's going to be my woman you
- 10:21understand
- 10:21like i'm going to take straight this is
- 10:22where we're going like i'm telling you
- 10:24this is where we're going
- 10:25why am i doing that because i have to
- 10:26assert that if i don't assert that
- 10:28i let you run the road if i let you run
- 10:30the reigns already i like i said i don't
- 10:32really feel like you respect me in that
- 10:33respect so
- 10:34we've really got a problem you
- 10:36understand and you've really told me
- 10:37well she hasn't said to him but she
- 10:38really said that she feels like he's too
- 10:40emotional
- 10:42do you from saying that this is so i'm
- 10:43picking up on those things like i i've
- 10:46seen already blogs i think they
- 10:47definitely make it past eight weeks
- 10:49i'm not thinking about eight weeks parks
- 10:50i'm thinking about after that because
- 10:52it's only eight weeks you know
- 10:55all right cool um and then on the
- 10:58boating you saw this
- 10:59also body language when they asked how
- 11:01is it going to mars and karen
- 11:02miles actually did what i remember a
- 11:04couple of seasons ago with what's his
- 11:05name
- 11:06um i've got all his name the the black
- 11:08couple um
- 11:10where the guy wasn't working but he
- 11:11became a doctor i'll put bishop anyway
- 11:13but basically the same thing he did like
- 11:15whenever when the question came to him
- 11:16he answered it a little bit then passed
- 11:18her back over why he doesn't have the
- 11:19answer
- 11:20it's not that he's invited to the
- 11:21conversation he doesn't have the answer
- 11:23he doesn't know
- 11:24because he's not in control right he's
- 11:27not in control of the
- 11:28the situation or the proceedings now i'm
- 11:30not trying to say that you have to be a
- 11:31domineering
- 11:32um a man no no i'm saying though you
- 11:35should have as much say as this other
- 11:36person right
- 11:37um you should have must say as in
- 11:39knowing where it's going like for
- 11:40instance
- 11:40i my partner right um i knew she was had
- 11:44experienced a lot of things in the past
- 11:45but i'm still dictating the pace like
- 11:47i'm like listen look that it was still
- 11:49my final decision of where we're going
- 11:50do you know what i'm saying like it was
- 11:51still my final decision why because
- 11:53that's the way i roll it
- 11:55i'm an emotive person i am i've got a
- 11:57lot i carry a lot of feminine energy if
- 11:59you talk about my endearing my nurturing
- 12:00my listening
- 12:01let's be honest i care a lot of that but
- 12:02when it comes to the final box i
- 12:04realized this when it comes to
- 12:05relationship you've got
- 12:06you've got to be assertive you've got to
- 12:07be firm you've got let me know listen
- 12:08look i'm coming
- 12:09at this point listen this is what we're
- 12:10doing all right this is what i can do
- 12:12it's what i can't deal with
- 12:13yeah objective goals ambitions hitting
- 12:16things
- 12:17saying this is what it is not hitting
- 12:18not wanting people hitting things in
- 12:20terms of your goals
- 12:20saying this is what it is this is what
- 12:22is defining what it is this is why adam
- 12:24in the bible
- 12:24was defining what the names of animals
- 12:26were define it
- 12:28you understand yeah define what you are
- 12:30going to be right when you let her run
- 12:32that
- 12:32of what she's defining as it to be at
- 12:34any moment she can quit whenever she
- 12:35feels like
- 12:36because she feels like she's running the
- 12:37thing and i'm not trying to say that you
- 12:39have to run it so you can quit anytime
- 12:40you want
- 12:41no because you already know how you feel
- 12:43so because you already know how you feel
- 12:45you define it say listen look it's how
- 12:46i'm feeling are you about this or not
- 12:48so that she gets into so she gets into
- 12:50lying and i'm saying get into line i'm
- 12:52talking about getting into line with
- 12:53division
- 12:54not you in line with the vision you
- 12:56understand of
- 12:57you've been a relationship right
- 13:00carry that firmness and assertiveness
- 13:02trust me we'll save you a lot of things
- 13:04um and then she goes on to explain that
- 13:06obviously it's like
- 13:07um you know a stranger um it's like a
- 13:11stranger
- 13:12um you know in the to her and it's like
- 13:14a
- 13:15sound like a security guard etc and i
- 13:17totally get listen i totally get it but
- 13:18let me be very very frank of you
- 13:20i totally get the example she gave
- 13:21here's my problem with that um
- 13:23yeah but if the guy was if the guy was
- 13:25your type you wouldn't be saying like he
- 13:26feels
- 13:27familiar but it still feels weird for me
- 13:29calling him like
- 13:30my husband or like saying i'm a wife
- 13:33sound like he's stranger nonsense
- 13:36the reason why she's saying that's
- 13:37because she's not sure it's simple as
- 13:39that like i
- 13:40i i know people are going to be like
- 13:41they're new they're new but how do you
- 13:43behave when the person is new
- 13:46when you first start dating someone when
- 13:48you start talking to somebody yes a
- 13:49person's a stranger we don't mention
- 13:51you're like a stranger
- 13:52when you click you click when you get on
- 13:53you get on when you're lacking something
- 13:55you like somebody you understand you
- 13:56don't mention these other things that
- 13:57you're
- 13:58a stranger to me that you don't mention
- 13:59those things right because you're just
- 14:01trying to get to know the person you're
- 14:02focused on getting to know the person
- 14:04the issue here is that karen does not
- 14:06feel he
- 14:07is the one now she may con she may over
- 14:10time gradually come to that
- 14:12understanding
- 14:12but at the moment she's not convinced i
- 14:14said this last episode she's not
- 14:16convinced
- 14:16the things that you say are coming from
- 14:18your heart the bible says that uh
- 14:19i so um it's the issue
- 14:23of basically we speak from my heart so
- 14:24it's not what goes into a man that
- 14:26defiles what comes out
- 14:27why because he speaks from the heart and
- 14:28the heart is wicked above all things
- 14:29look
- 14:30we speak from the heart so what's in
- 14:31your heart you're saying it you know
- 14:33what i mean
- 14:33yeah just trust that one um
- 14:43and uh
- 14:47you know she obviously mentioned well
- 14:48when he was sitting at dante was saying
- 14:49about
- 14:50you know she wants more honesty more
- 14:51communication um
- 14:53and you know she wants she wants a man
- 14:55to be ready basically
- 14:56and basically those are the things that
- 14:58her ex won the man wasn't ready
- 15:00um he wasn't communicating and he wasn't
- 15:02honest so the five years she spent
- 15:03she experienced that right and what the
- 15:06truth about is that she's tired
- 15:08of those type of relationships and what
- 15:09she's doing is trying to weigh
- 15:11up whether miles
- 15:14is going to follow the same line or
- 15:16lineage of her ex-boyfriend
- 15:18um so the problem with her at the moment
- 15:20one of the biggest problems for her is
- 15:21that
- 15:22seeing some of the behaviors maybe
- 15:24potentially could trigger her
- 15:25number two when you try to define what
- 15:28you actually want
- 15:29or need in a relationship and you're
- 15:30doing it in a relationship what happens
- 15:32is you're trying to
- 15:33compare with the past past uh partner
- 15:36that you had
- 15:37see if you did this work while you were
- 15:39single and you knew exactly what you
- 15:40wanted oh sorry
- 15:42what you needed i was going for
- 15:43everybody else everybody else not doing
- 15:44mine at first sight because you ain't
- 15:45got the same choice
- 15:46but when you when you sit down after a
- 15:48relationship break up
- 15:50and you define what you actually need
- 15:52and define
- 15:53what's essentially a quintessential to a
- 15:55a healthy relationship for you
- 15:57then what happens is when you meet
- 15:59people you define this is my terms and
- 16:01conditions
- 16:02media or don't mean it and that goes for
- 16:03both parties do you feel what i'm saying
- 16:05um i feel like obviously what she's
- 16:07doing she's trying to trying to see
- 16:09where miles if he's gonna if he's gonna
- 16:11change his behavior that's cause that's
- 16:13one of her fears right the fear is that
- 16:14you know that he's that it's good
- 16:16science at the beginning
- 16:18but obviously he will change later on
- 16:20that's her
- 16:21fear and probably because she saw that's
- 16:23what she saw our past partner
- 16:24good at the beginning bad towards the
- 16:26end right
- 16:27um and then obviously she mentioned
- 16:30about the ten
- 16:31relationships um and those interesting
- 16:33was at the beginning you see miles
- 16:35leaning in
- 16:36body language talking about fact that
- 16:37he's been in several relationships
- 16:39at the end he's like whoa why because
- 16:42way the way she reacts to the fact that
- 16:43he's been intense relationships
- 16:45monogamous relationships
- 16:46and she makes a point about his age this
- 16:48is my
- 16:49issue the age thing right yeah you
- 16:52were she's annoyed later on it caused
- 16:54her cooler but in the very beginning
- 16:57she was here stating that obviously look
- 16:59the a situation
- 17:00i've wanted to be like that guy my whole
- 17:03life
- 17:04like my dad jokes but like it's kind of
- 17:07real like
- 17:07i've been in like 10 like monogamous
- 17:11relationships
- 17:12right the fact that oh um you know
- 17:14you've been in 10 relationships and
- 17:16you're only 26 why are you making it 18
- 17:18if he's been in 10 yeah but you're
- 17:19younger than me you've made 10
- 17:20relationships so so you've made it about
- 17:22an ace thing
- 17:23right and then later on when he's making
- 17:24jokes about acing you're now pissed off
- 17:26why because you started it right you
- 17:29can't start the thing and don't finish
- 17:31it you understand
- 17:32so the truth of the matter is when she
- 17:34when he when he said about the
- 17:35terminations her mind was going to think
- 17:37how can i disqualify you if because it
- 17:39doesn't sound right to me so
- 17:41can i just qualify that's the question
- 17:42that's going on going on in my head
- 17:44this doesn't sound normal to me ten
- 17:46relationships it's not it's not a norm
- 17:48that i hear from men oftentimes
- 17:49even people my age and you see her body
- 17:51language shift when she goes and she
- 17:53says oh my gosh ten do today
- 17:54and she even turns her face away from
- 17:56him and goes i mean i'm only in 30 and i
- 17:58had ten relationships so i already see
- 18:01that okay it becomes an issue
- 18:02right um body language is very very key
- 18:05to let you know
- 18:05how she felt about his 10 relationships
- 18:08um
- 18:09and then obviously uh later on uh
- 18:12you know they they were in bed and you
- 18:16know they made a joke about their a
- 18:17situation again now
- 18:18making jokes is fine because it shows
- 18:19that we're mature enough to to have
- 18:21a laugh and a banter about the a
- 18:23situation it's fine until
- 18:25it becomes a problem it's fine until
- 18:27someone actually takes it seriously
- 18:29so they're generally made in a bit about
- 18:30he you know saying miles keeps
- 18:32calling me a cougar and oh i just never
- 18:36said oh i said she was a cougar
- 18:39and i said that's attractive that's in
- 18:42um you know he said about obviously that
- 18:45you know he hasn't got his she said i
- 18:46was he hasn't he hasn't yet he needed a
- 18:48school note to get into
- 18:49this trip to come whatever and he said
- 18:50something else as well right
- 18:52it was fine then right until they got
- 18:54into the bus with romani and woody
- 18:56and it's no longer fine the cougar jokes
- 18:58are no longer fine now here's where it
- 19:00may
- 19:01pay a difference where because obviously
- 19:03age can equal
- 19:04maturity age can equal
- 19:07maturity why because experiences of age
- 19:10can mature us
- 19:11in some shape or form so when they're on
- 19:13the bus and they're talking
- 19:15okay and woody's i mean and obviously uh
- 19:18you know miles is making the
- 19:20conversation and joke about
- 19:21um about the age well um actually armani
- 19:24brings it up and then he says obviously
- 19:26look you know it's got nothing there's
- 19:27nothing for me
- 19:28i've been i've been a cougar pup for a
- 19:30little minute you won't stop calling my
- 19:32friends you're not a cool they
- 19:34updated all women in the past all day
- 19:35cougars in the past right
- 19:37and the cougar hits a nerve of karen why
- 19:39does it hit a nerve of karen
- 19:40well it's the influence that it's the
- 19:42label that's with a cougar
- 19:44uh number two again this wasn't her idea
- 19:46of an ideal man she would have
- 19:48she this she didn't choose to date
- 19:50someone younger okay it was given to her
- 19:52so it's completely different
- 19:53number three um you know
- 19:56um the stigma the stigma that comes with
- 19:58being an older woman dating a younger
- 20:00guy
- 20:00and you throwing cougar on there it's
- 20:02making her feel uncomfortable because
- 20:03it makes her feel good with the cougar
- 20:05is someone who's taken advantage almost
- 20:07of a young guy
- 20:08a cougar is what is what jada was doing
- 20:10to uh
- 20:11to to young man uh what's his name uh
- 20:14freaking out what's his name uh august
- 20:16oh cena right
- 20:17yeah that's that's the crew god what jd
- 20:20did to august
- 20:21cougar in a bit but i mean so you don't
- 20:23want to be labeled so she doesn't want
- 20:24to be labeled with that
- 20:25you know i mean so that's where the
- 20:27frustrations come from that's where
- 20:28and he's not noticing that it's actually
- 20:30a problem he thinks it's a normal thing
- 20:32because he's
- 20:32assuming that listen maybe he's dating
- 20:34women in the past and they don't mind
- 20:35being called a cougar
- 20:36but she doesn't want to call it she's
- 20:37only 30. right she's still young
- 20:40so if i in her eyes because of his age
- 20:43she feels young older she's not older
- 20:46she's
- 20:46so i'm not i'm not i'm not annoyed
- 20:48because i can understand why she will
- 20:49feel the way she feels
- 20:51i can understand why she feels a little
- 20:53bit annoyed and a little bit frustrated
- 20:55at that
- 20:55and and the fact that she may feel like
- 20:57if this guy's not serious i'm going to
- 20:58waste my time again
- 21:00when i already know that younger guys
- 21:01probably aren't going to be serious
- 21:03do you understand so i can understand
- 21:05that point of view but my thing with
- 21:07also
- 21:07this is that what's the biggest problem
- 21:09with having dated 10
- 21:10people in monogamous relationships
- 21:13compared to having
- 21:14slept with 10 women before and here's
- 21:16here's the difference the difference is
- 21:17this
- 21:18in society we normalize sex so a man
- 21:21has 10 20 women it's almost like okay
- 21:23yeah he's had 10 20 women he's
- 21:25experienced
- 21:26okay he's had ten relationships well so
- 21:27what's happened there like
- 21:29and it's because obviously not only is
- 21:31this the society view on relationships
- 21:33and the society view on sets a problem
- 21:35the problem is obviously when people
- 21:36enter relations they're entering
- 21:37that's why you ask them a question are
- 21:39you entitled with the mindset of
- 21:41marriage now all ten i don't know maybe
- 21:44he has maybe he's not
- 21:45maybe he entered it because he really
- 21:46liked the girl and he entered a
- 21:47relationship didn't want to just
- 21:48you know have sex regardless it doesn't
- 21:51make a difference the truth of the
- 21:52matter is
- 21:53obviously the way that we look at things
- 21:54in terms of comparison
- 21:5610 women that you slept with and 10
- 21:57relations that you've entered into
- 21:59there's a big difference
- 22:00the way that we view it and the way we
- 22:01interpret it so
- 22:03i can understand again a viewpoint of
- 22:05having 10 it's almost like you've done
- 22:07so many what's going on that [ __ ] are
- 22:08you a relationship hopper
- 22:10you know i need to know because i don't
- 22:11want to get hurt again that's the key
- 22:12thing
- 22:13um but he made a very very
- 22:17very good point he said i would say
- 22:19listen um
- 22:20like my maturity's there obviously
- 22:22evidently because look
- 22:23me being ready at 26. i think my entire
- 22:26life
- 22:26i've always been put in positions where
- 22:28i was the youngest
- 22:30but like stepped up to whatever that is
- 22:31right and so like i'm 26 years old
- 22:33i'm 26 i'm one of the youngest people to
- 22:36run a school
- 22:37the people there's private school have
- 22:38actually entrusted me to run the school
- 22:40what's to say i can't be in the
- 22:41relationship with older women german and
- 22:43plus the fact he made a comment in the
- 22:44bus the fact that he's dated older than
- 22:46before it seems like he has a taste
- 22:48for older women right and maybe because
- 22:50his mindset is not 26 he's 30. maybe his
- 22:52mindset is 35
- 22:53but he actually is 26 his body's saying
- 22:5526. that can be a very high plausibility
- 22:58um so yeah i mean we're gonna see um
- 23:01i think they can be great it's just
- 23:03depending on whether karen's gonna
- 23:05continue to defend herself
- 23:06and that could end up being a
- 23:07self-sabotaging mission right or
- 23:09she can end up defending herself to a
- 23:11point where mars gets too frustrated and
- 23:12can't deal with no longer
- 23:14i think i'll be alone i think i've been
- 23:15a long long way before miles gets a
- 23:17point where he's fed up
- 23:18but definitely for karen i think she
- 23:19could be closer than she even realizes
- 23:22um because of the way that she perceives
- 23:24a certain idea of what relationships
- 23:25should be like
