1. 0:08Um I've just gone through my 10 year
2. 0:09anniversary with JMG. Um started um in
3. 0:132nd of May 10 years ago. Um and I
4. 0:17started as the claims executive.
5. 0:20Uh I think the opportunity um the the
6. 0:23the offer that was put on the table was
7. 0:26for me to to come in and develop the
8. 0:28client facing side of claims. Um it was
9. 0:31something to to get my teeth into as a
10. 0:33project uh over and above uh doing a
11. 0:36day-to-day claims exec role. So um it it
12. 0:39was it was a real challenge that I uh I
13. 0:42relished. Um and over and above that the
14. 0:44people um it was a great business, great
15. 0:47culture and uh felt like home.
16. 0:53Yeah, I've been in industry 35 years in
17. 0:56the claims function now. So been around
18. 0:59a bit uh you know met a lot of good
19. 1:01people, worked for some really good
20. 1:03people. Um and you always take take from
21. 1:06from individuals. Um I think in the
22. 1:09current situation um I almost use my own
23. 1:12experience in terms of my own journey um
24. 1:15and try and try and replicate that to
25. 1:16some degree. I came in at a certain
26. 1:18level um was was you know given some
27. 1:21backing given some some encouragement
28. 1:23and a platform to to do well um and it's
29. 1:27absolutely brilliant. The best part of
30. 1:28my job now is is absolutely to uh to do
31. 1:32exactly the same for other people and
32. 1:34recognize good talent within the teams.
33. 1:37Recognize people that that are
34. 1:38career-minded and driven individuals and
35. 1:41give them the platform to grow and
36. 1:43flourish as well.
37. 1:46From the claim's point of view, uh the
38. 1:49great thing about the the the group
39. 1:51structure that we've got now is we've
40. 1:53got room for people to grow. Um, and
41. 1:56that can be either a subject matter
42. 1:57expert technical route, it could be a
43. 1:59management type route, it could be a
44. 2:01client facing route and sometimes a
45. 2:03mixture of all those things. I think we
46. 2:05we look for our our clients staff to to
47. 2:09to really grow, develop and test
48. 2:11themselves and move forward. Um, and I
49. 2:13think we've got a great platform to do
50. 2:15that now across the board uh in all
51. 2:17areas of business.
52. 2:22Really simple. Uh, go for it. I think we
53. 2:25We've got a hell a lot to offer. Uh
54. 2:27we're a growing business. We're a
55. 2:28forward thinking business. We've got a
56. 2:29great culture, some really good people
57. 2:31within there and uh and a real good
58. 2:34platform to to learn and to grow and to
59. 2:36to develop a career.
60. 2:39One simple answer to both questions is
61. 2:42that we make a difference. We make a
62. 2:44difference to to to clients to to our
63. 2:46our business as a whole. and uh having
64. 2:48the opportunity to to to be a big part
65. 2:51of of of driving the culture to to allow
66. 2:54us to make a difference to our clients.
67. 2:56It is something I'm really proud of and
68. 2:58something that uh it's instilled within
69. 3:00our claims function across the board.
