- 0:23before with Christine and Eric
- 0:27um
- 0:28probably pretty boring
- 0:31but then again it might resonate with
- 0:33everybody
- 0:34because we were almost
- 0:37like a um some sort of demographic
- 0:40cliche
- 0:41and that um
- 0:44what's different about this situation
- 0:46here what's unusual about what makes
- 0:48this
- 0:50um
- 0:50I think resonate with people I am you
- 0:54um
- 0:56I lived in I used to live in a nice
- 0:57neighborhood
- 0:59we had a brick home we lived on a corner
- 1:02lot we had a yard and a fence and a dog
- 1:04and a you know the the cedar deck and
- 1:07the patio cover and all the nice things
- 1:08and we both had careers
- 1:11and we had our routines
- 1:13and
- 1:15this just doesn't happen to
- 1:18um
- 1:19people of Interest this just doesn't
- 1:20happen to people with criminal records
- 1:23that's what kind of got me
- 1:26is the start contrast between when I
- 1:30left for work that morning and then when
- 1:32I came back home
- 1:34it's don't think your life cannot change
- 1:37in a heartbeat what is prison like for
- 1:40someone who knows they are completely
- 1:45innocent of the crime that they're there
- 1:47for I don't know if it's all that
- 1:48different for someone who's completely
- 1:50guilty it's still harsh
- 1:55the food still stinks the clothes don't
- 1:58fit the haircut's lousy the company's
- 2:00questionable
- 2:02summer it's cold in the winter when it
- 2:04rains you get wet but you know it's not
- 2:06supposed to be a nice place
- 2:10on the other hand the cliche that's used
- 2:13is that you're supposed to go there as
- 2:15punishment not for punishment talk to me
- 2:19a little bit about
- 2:22sitting in there
- 2:24knowing that the district attorney
- 2:28John Bradley is fighting DNA testing of
- 2:32evidence that you feel could set you
- 2:34free his
- 2:36resistance didn't seem to make a lot of
- 2:38rational sense
- 2:40um it seems like he could actually
- 2:42benefit from it and yet
- 2:45I can't explain why he fought it so when
- 2:48you hear that the DNA does not match you
- 2:54it matches Mark Norwood or a person you
- 2:57probably didn't even know at that time
- 3:00but what his name was
- 3:01that was on my birthday
- 3:06yeah we found out about the DNA result
- 3:08on your birthday they came and told me

- 3:15saying news we have much more with
- 3:17Michael Morton the reunion with his son
- 3:19and the repairing of that relationship
- 3:21his Newfound and perhaps most cherished
- 3:24role as a grandfather and what he is
