- 0:02the global partnership between
- 0:05mercedes-benz and the Avatar films and
- 0:09we've already done some work together
- 0:10and I would like to present the first
- 0:14result of this partnership the
- 0:17mercedes-benz vision a VTR which
- 0:21translates to advanced vehicle
- 0:23transformation a visionary car that
- 0:26points far into the future and a show
- 0:30car that is truly inspired by the
- 0:33fascinating world of Avatar the results
- 0:37highlights completely new ways of
- 0:40intuitively connecting humans and
- 0:43machines without the wooden sticks and
- 0:45the plastic knobs and the steering wheel
- 0:47and it takes sustainability to new
- 0:50levels through a fully recyclable
- 0:53battery which is based on an organic
- 0:57cell chemistry and doesn't need
- 1:00materials like for instance nickel or
- 1:03cobalt this means in the future the
- 1:07battery could be compostable and yes of
- 1:10course it's gonna offer incredibly fast
- 1:14charging to

- 2:16here to spark our imagination of the
- 2:21possible just like good science-fiction
- 2:24movies do imagine a car that delivers a
- 2:28completely new experience which combines
- 2:31an inside-out design philosophy with an
- 2:35outside-in approach to connecting
- 2:37passengers and environment this car
- 2:42showcases new ideas of communication for
- 2:45instance by using its Bionic flaps
