  1. 0:00How strong is Mario? For a long time,
  2. 0:03members of my community have been
  3. 0:04begging and constantly requesting me to
  4. 0:06scale Mario. I had a lot of things in my
  5. 0:08schedule, so I didn't make the Mario
  6. 0:10video for a long time, but it's finally
  7. 0:12here. I have a lot of theories as to why
  8. 0:14people wanted me to scale [music] Mario
  9. 0:16so badly. The first one being the
  10. 0:18elephant in the room. I've scaled Sonic
  11. 0:19a lot of times on this channel, so it's
  12. 0:21very reasonable for people to be [music]
  13. 0:23curious on where I scale Mario since
  14. 0:25Mario is Sonic's greatest rival. Yes,
  15. 0:28you heard that correctly. No Shadow, no
  16. 0:31Knuckles, no, none of those characters.
  17. 0:33It's [music] Mario. Like, let's be so
  18. 0:35for real right now. They made an entire
  19. 0:37Olympic Games based on Mario and Sonic
  20. 0:40with their names on it. That level of
  21. 0:42hype is not happening for Shadow or
  22. 0:45Knuckles. But, I want to add a
  23. 0:46disclaimer to this video. My intentions
  24. 0:48for the scale is not to have Mario above
  25. 0:51Sonic. My intention is to provide the
  26. 0:53most reliable information I can get. So,
  27. 0:55to make my intentions clear, I'm making
  28. 0:58this video a bit more special than the
  29. 1:00others. So, for this video, I not only
  30. 1:02go in depth to [music] Mario scaling
  31. 1:03myself, but I also bring the most
  32. 1:05reliable people power scaling Mario to
  33. 1:07help assist me on giving you guys the
  34. 1:09ultimate conclusion on where Mario
  35. 1:11scales. Let's [music] go with the
  36. 1:13fundamentals first before we get into
  37. 1:15any serious scale. Everything in Mario
  38. 1:17is basically canon. It's explained that
  39. 1:19Mario has a Mickey Mouse type canon, so
  40. 1:22pretty much everything in Mario is
  41. 1:24Mario. People will try to argue that
  42. 1:26Paper Mario is not Mario, but this view
  43. 1:28is extremely incoherent [music]
  44. 1:30to Mario and it's just a classic example
  45. 1:32of people not knowing what they're
  46. 1:33talking about. The only Mario that
  47. 1:35isn't, quote unquote, Mario is Paper Jam
  48. 1:37Mario. It's explicitly known that this
  49. 1:40character is not Mario, [music] but
  50. 1:42rather a parallel Mario. And that case
  51. 1:44is explicit within the Mario games, so
  52. 1:46they very much wanted you to know that
  53. 1:48this character is not Mario. So, the
  54. 1:50statement is not contradicted. Every
  55. 1:52other Paper Mario is Mario. Let's also
  56. 1:54go to Mario's origins because, trust me,
  57. 1:56this [ __ ] gets insane. [music] It's
  58. 1:57explained that Mario is one of the seven
  59. 2:00star children with each of the children
  60. 2:02having enough power to take over [music]
  61. 2:03an entire universe. Hopefully, so people
  62. 2:06don't misrepresent me, am I saying that
  63. 2:08because Mario is a star child, therefore
  64. 2:10he's universal in power? No. The message
  65. 2:13I'm trying to convey here is that Mario
  66. 2:15is not [music] a regular person. He is
  67. 2:18not just your average human, which is a
  68. 2:20somewhat common interpretation of the
  69. 2:22character. He is someone who holds
  70. 2:24incredibly dormant power and is one of
  71. 2:26the strongest beings within the entire
  72. 2:28Mario universe. Hopefully, the people
  73. 2:30watching this video understand those two
  74. 2:32basic fundamentals. Let's now scale
  75. 2:34Mario. Using Mario's arsenal alone, he
  76. 2:36should scale to star level as Mario has
  77. 2:38the ice flower which has enough power to
  78. 2:41freeze the sun. Mario can also use the
  79. 2:43flowers to apply to [music] his physical
  80. 2:45stats so he can just make himself star
  81. 2:47level. Now, for clarity on what I mean
  82. 2:49here, he can just make an ice punch.
  83. 2:50There's no issue with him doing that
  84. 2:52just like he does it with fire. So,
  85. 2:54using his arsenal or basically using
  86. 2:56comp Mario, he would be star level. In
  87. 2:58Mario Galaxy, Mario is able to survive
  88. 3:00the destruction of the galaxy reactor
  89. 3:02with the galaxy reactor having bare
  90. 3:04minimum galaxy levels of energy. But,
  91. 3:06I'm only giving you the bare minimum of
  92. 3:08where the reactor scales to because it
  93. 3:10scales [music] even greater than this.
  94. 3:12The reactor's confirmed multiple times
  95. 3:14to have the power to destroy the entire
  96. 3:16universe with Mario and Bowser both
  97. 3:18surviving this without taking any
  98. 3:20noticeable damage. I'm not even sure why
  99. 3:22this is even being contended because we
  100. 3:24literally see the entire universe be
  101. 3:27reduced to a void before Rosalina uses
  102. 3:29her shields. There are some debunks that
  103. 3:31people could try to make in order to
  104. 3:32prove that Mario doesn't scale to this
  105. 3:34feat, but he absolutely does. The first
  106. 3:36argument is that Rosalina used a shield
  107. 3:38to protect Mario, so therefore Mario
  108. 3:40doesn't scale to the blast. But, this
  109. 3:42argument is stupid as [ __ ] because Mario
  110. 3:44was already exposed to the explosive
  111. 3:46radius of the galaxy reactor with him
  112. 3:48already being near the origin point
  113. 3:50before Rosalina even shielded him. If
  114. 3:52Mario didn't scale to the feat, then he
  115. 3:54would be incinerated before even talking
  116. 3:57to Rosalina. Also, in a later game, it's
  117. 4:00confirmed that Mario is the strongest in
  118. 4:02the past, present, and future by a
  119. 4:05literal entity who sees in the past,
  120. 4:08present, and future. So, Mario scales to
  121. 4:11Rosalina. People might also try to argue
  122. 4:13that Bowser mentioning that the galaxy
  123. 4:15reactor creating a galaxy is considered
  124. 4:17impressive, so it contradicts any sort
  125. 4:20of universal notion. But, even lava has
  126. 4:22the power to create galaxies, [music] so
  127. 4:24this is just really stupid and implies
  128. 4:26that lava is the equivalent to galaxy
  129. 4:28reactor levels of energy. Mario is also
  130. 4:30stronger than King Ollie, who has the
  131. 4:32power to rewrite [music] the very fabric
  132. 4:34of reality with this fact being stated
  133. 4:36by King Ollie himself. For multiversal
  134. 4:38scaling, this gets a little [music] more
  135. 4:40complicated, but just stay with me. In
  136. 4:41the Mario verse, there exists a place
  137. 4:43called the Dream Depot or the Dream
  138. 4:45World, which is an area in the cosmology
  139. 4:47that contains all dreams. This would
  140. 4:49also imply that once you have a dream,
  141. 4:52that dream will automatically [music]
  142. 4:53exist within the Dream Depot, which will
  143. 4:55be important later. Each dream that is
  144. 4:57now real within the Dream Depot is also
  145. 4:59confirmed [music] to be a separate
  146. 5:01space-time from the universe. This is
  147. 5:03consistent as when Luigi [music] is
  148. 5:04traveling between worlds, he is
  149. 5:06traveling between dimensions, meaning
  150. 5:08these worlds are separated by space and
  151. 5:10time. There is also an interdimensional
  152. 5:12barrier between the universe and the
  153. 5:13dream worlds. [music] And what really
  154. 5:15makes my case strong is the fact that
  155. 5:17there's already confirmed to be
  156. 5:18universes in the Dream [music] Depot.
  157. 5:20So, yes, the world of the dreams is a
  158. 5:23multiverse. We need to add something
  159. 5:25worth noting for the Mario cosmology.
  160. 5:27The only reason these dreams [music]
  161. 5:28even exist is because the Dream Depot
  162. 5:31exists, meaning that the Dream Depot has
  163. 5:33the power to create these dreams.
  164. 5:34[music] But, I want to make something
  165. 5:36clear. You cannot just casually say,
  166. 5:38"Oh, my dream is like outerversal,
  167. 5:41[music] and you can dream outerversal
  168. 5:42things in Mario, so therefore the Dream
  169. 5:44Depot is outerversal." No, there's a
  170. 5:46severe limit to what you can [music] and
  171. 5:49cannot dream in the Mario verse.
  172. 5:50Remember, there is an interdimensional
  173. 5:52barrier separating the Dream Depot
  174. 5:55[music] with the real world. If you
  175. 5:56could dream something that could destroy
  176. 5:58the interdimensional barrier, it would
  177. 6:00contradict that the Dream Depot is
  178. 6:01bounded to the barrier. So, if you could
  179. 6:03dream something that could break the
  180. 6:05barrier, that would contradict that the
  181. 6:07dreams are limited to the
  182. 6:08interdimensional barrier, which would
  183. 6:10directly prove that there are limits to
  184. 6:12what you can dream in the verse. So far,
  185. 6:14when it comes to feats, the most
  186. 6:15powerful thing you can dream of within
  187. 6:17the Dream Depot is a universe. Pretty
  188. 6:19much anyone can, there isn't anything
  189. 6:21that explicitly limits it to a specific
  190. 6:24character. So, you could actually make
  191. 6:25the pretty fair argument that the Dream
  192. 6:27Depot has the power to contain
  193. 6:29thousands, millions, billions, or even
  194. 6:32an infinite multiverse. I mean, it's not
  195. 6:34even crazy to say that each dream in the
  196. 6:37Mario verse is a universe. It's a pretty
  197. 6:39consistent pattern that we end up
  198. 6:41finding out these dreams are universes
  199. 6:43in the first place. And remember the
  200. 6:45Luigi thing I mentioned? Yeah, them
  201. 6:47having their own space-times technically
  202. 6:49backs up this theory. If each dream is a
  203. 6:51parallel universe, it would perfectly
  204. 6:53explain why when Luigi crosses them,
  205. 6:56they are just blatantly called
  206. 6:57dimensions. Dreams are actually directly
  207. 7:00created by ambition, so using just your
  208. 7:02subjective thoughts can create a
  209. 7:04universe. Makes no sense that it would
  210. 7:06only be able to contain two or less.
  211. 7:08Anyway, now that I'm done rambling about
  212. 7:10the Dream Depot, since that probably got
  213. 7:12annoying, Bowser manages to absorb the
  214. 7:15Dream Stone, which contains the energy
  215. 7:16of all dreams. This would make Bowser
  216. 7:19multiversal. Mario and Luigi are
  217. 7:21blatantly shown to be able to contend
  218. 7:23with this Bowser and not get instantly
  219. 7:25one-shot, so they themselves would also
  220. 7:27be multiversal. I've seen some other
  221. 7:29arguments of people trying to prove that
  222. 7:30Mario was multiversal, but in my
  223. 7:32opinion, those arguments are not very
  224. 7:34good. For example, the void argument.
  225. 7:36The flaw with the void argument is that
  226. 7:38it's mainly based on overtime
  227. 7:40destruction and not an instant
  228. 7:42obliteration of entire universes. What
  229. 7:44the void does is that it expands in size
  230. 7:47and then when it gets to a specific
  231. 7:48size, it will cause an explosive burst
  232. 7:51that erases properties within the Mario
  233. 7:53cosmology. So yeah, it's not the best
  234. 7:55thing ever. I would just recommend using
  235. 7:57the dream scaling. But wait, Mario gets
  236. 7:59even stronger than this. In Mario
  237. 8:01Galaxy, there's this place called the
  238. 8:03matter splatter galaxy which contains a
  239. 8:05super space. A super space is pretty
  240. 8:07much a space that is composed of more
  241. 8:09than three spatial dimensions. In tandem
  242. 8:12with an additional time dimension, this
  243. 8:13would qualify for fifth dimensional or
  244. 8:16low complex multiversal. Using the
  245. 8:17galaxy reactor scaling from before,
  246. 8:19Mario would scale to this space as the
  247. 8:21galaxy reactor did also destroy the
  248. 8:24matter splatter galaxy. Higher
  249. 8:25dimensional Mario is pretty consistent
  250. 8:27as he also has these scissors that can
  251. 8:29transcend dimensional boundaries. People
  252. 8:31will try to argue that the subspace
  253. 8:33scaling is not reliable because there
  254. 8:35are many other ways to translate the
  255. 8:37scan from hyperspace or a subspace which
  256. 8:40don't have to scale on the equivalent of
  257. 8:42a super space. But these arguments are
  258. 8:44very implausible and don't hold much
  259. 8:46weight. The kanji being used for the
  260. 8:47statements about the super space uses
  261. 8:49the kanji cho next to kuukon. The word
  262. 8:52cho typically means to transcend or
  263. 8:55exceed or to basically go beyond. With
  264. 8:57the word super being more associated
  265. 8:59with transcendence as opposed to hyper,
  266. 9:01which makes a hyper space or subspace
  267. 9:04translation less likely. You can apply
  268. 9:06hyper in both a transcendent sense and
  269. 9:08also a higher sense, which is really
  270. 9:10easy to do. All you have to do is apply
  271. 9:12the kanji ko and put it next to kuukon,
  272. 9:15which will give you hyper space with the
  273. 9:17kanji ko meaning higher. If they really
  274. 9:19wanted to entail a hyper space using the
  275. 9:22scan, literally, you would not need to
  276. 9:24use the word cho kuukon. Using ko kuukon
  277. 9:27would closely align with the hyper space
  278. 9:29or subspace interpretation more than cho
  279. 9:32kuukon. Moving on to a bonus, there are
  280. 9:34some interesting things that you can use
  281. 9:36to argue that Mario is potentially outer
  282. 9:39versal. This does feel a little
  283. 9:41unorthodox, so I'm not going to say I
  284. 9:43affirm or deny this scaling, but I'll
  285. 9:45just mention it for the sake of people
  286. 9:47having information and forming their own
  287. 9:49opinions. You decide head out scaling.
  288. 9:51Lineland is a place where all
  289. 9:53mathematical concepts are true and
  290. 9:55actualized within this reality, meaning
  291. 9:57that these mathematical concepts are not
  292. 10:00going to just be limited to some
  293. 10:01theoretical framework, but are true and
  294. 10:04are therefore real. This place is the
  295. 10:06very core of mathematical conceptual
  296. 10:08reality where all of these concepts are
  297. 10:11real and interactable. A domain truly
  298. 10:13containing all mathematical ideas within
  299. 10:15their purest form. Mario out scaling
  300. 10:18Lineland via surviving the galaxy
  301. 10:20reactor would actually get Mario to low
  302. 10:23outer in base. I know the concept of
  303. 10:25outer versal Mario is very unorthodox
  304. 10:27and very up for debate, so you can take
  305. 10:29this or leave it. If you believe that
  306. 10:31you can defend this argument, go ahead.
  307. 10:34You know, I'm just introducing info to
  308. 10:36you. Overall, Mario's attack potency and
  309. 10:38durability would scale from multiversal
  310. 10:40to these complex multiversal ranges with
  311. 10:43arguably even outer versal scaling. Now
  312. 10:46for speed, this one's also pretty
  313. 10:48blatant [music] to understand. Mario is
  314. 10:50able to out swim a black hole in Mario
  315. 10:53Party 6 and if you know how a black hole
  316. 10:55works, not even light can escape the
  317. 10:57gravitational pull of a black hole. So,
  318. 10:59Mario would already have to be moving at
  319. 11:01faster than light speeds at bare
  320. 11:03minimum. In Mario Galaxy, Mario is shown
  321. 11:05being slingshot in order to travel to
  322. 11:07other galaxies and as he is moving at
  323. 11:10massively faster than light speeds
  324. 11:11across the universe, he's able to
  325. 11:13accurately predict and shift his
  326. 11:14momentum while moving at these speeds
  327. 11:17[music] to accurately land on these
  328. 11:19galaxies. In Paper Mario, Mario is shown
  329. 11:21moving within an erased space time
  330. 11:23implying that his speed operates
  331. 11:25independently of time and space which
  332. 11:27would qualify for a measurable speed. We
  333. 11:29know that time and space were erased in
  334. 11:31this void as opposed to just physical
  335. 11:33matter because within the Mario
  336. 11:35universe, paint basically makes up
  337. 11:37concepts and reality of the Mario verse.
  338. 11:40So, if you take away these fundamental
  339. 11:42properties within the verse, you end up
  340. 11:44getting a white void which represents
  341. 11:46the true erasure within the world. And
  342. 11:48we know this is going to be a direct
  343. 11:50representation of a conceptual erasure
  344. 11:52because this white expanse was caused by
  345. 11:54the void, which is supposed to destroy
  346. 11:56and is designed to destroy everything
  347. 11:58within the Mario verse. So, overall for
  348. 12:01Mario's speed, I have him at massively
  349. 12:03faster than light with a measurable
  350. 12:05speed. Okay, before I go into Mario's
  351. 12:07hacks and abilities, I need to address
  352. 12:09some debunks that people will try to
  353. 12:10mention.
  354. 12:11>> Uh
  355. 12:11If Mario massively faster than light or
  356. 12:15a measurable speed, why doesn't he
  357. 12:17instantly save Peach and go to Bowser's
  358. 12:20castle?
  359. 12:20>> First of all, there's major issues to
  360. 12:22this. In Mario, some of the levels are
  361. 12:24just straight-up separated by space and
  362. 12:27time. At face value, this argument
  363. 12:29wouldn't even contradict that he has
  364. 12:31massively faster than light or a
  365. 12:32measurable speed. And second of all,
  366. 12:34Mario holds back. This is consistent
  367. 12:37within the series. The fact that in
  368. 12:39Galaxy, we see him tanking the
  369. 12:42destruction of his entire universe
  370. 12:45proves that he is holding back in most
  371. 12:48of his games. He could output this
  372. 12:50energy at any point in time, but only
  373. 12:53chooses to when necessary. Actually, you
  374. 12:55know what? I don't even have to prove
  375. 12:57that Mario holds back in his games
  376. 12:59because it's just outright confirmed
  377. 13:01that Mario in his games is pretty much
  378. 13:04an actor. Meaning that the way he
  379. 13:06behaves within his games is going to be
  380. 13:08dependent on the role that he chooses,
  381. 13:10which is consistent in the games and the
  382. 13:12Mario manga, where in Mario 64, he can
  383. 13:14just be your regular adventurer, and in
  384. 13:17the manga, he's literally God. Mario has
  385. 13:19so many vast roles as an actor that in
  386. 13:22one of these roles, he can play as a
