1. 0:00in this video we're going to compare the
2. 0:01Logitech MX Master 3S to the Logitech MX
3. 0:04Master anywhere 3s wireless Bluetooth
4. 0:07mouse these are two of the best wireless
5. 0:09mics that are both made by Logitech and
6. 0:12they offer quite a few similar features
7. 0:13but there's also a few notable
8. 0:15differences that we're going to go over
9. 0:17in this video so both the anywhere and
10. 0:20the master are very comfortable and
11. 0:22ergonomic to use they're both a little
12. 0:24bit taller than your average Mouse which
13. 0:26gives better wrist relief compared to
14. 0:28using something like the Apple Magic
15. 0:30Mouse or a non-ergonomic mouse I have
16. 0:33links for both of these mice and several
17. 0:35other Logitech keyboards in the
18. 0:37description below so be sure to check
19. 0:39those out too I find that the master 3s
20. 0:41is a bit more comfortable to use than
21. 0:43the anywhere because the whole Mouse is
22. 0:46just a little bit bigger it's taller
23. 0:48longer and wider and it also has an
24. 0:50additional spot on the side for putting
25. 0:52your thumb on the master which is just
26. 0:54really comfortable to use and the angle
27. 0:56that your wrist is at is just a little
28. 0:58bit better in my opinion but let the
29. 1:00anywhere 3s is still pretty comfortable
30. 1:02to use too both of the mice offer a ton
31. 1:05of flexibility with programming giving
32. 1:07you several custom buttons including two
33. 1:10side buttons where your thumb goes as
34. 1:12well as you can click the zoom button
35. 1:13and there's a button below the zooming
36. 1:15but on the master 3s you also get a side
37. 1:19scroll wheel and you get a thumb gesture
38. 1:22button which is really cool because when
39. 1:23you press that button and then you move
40. 1:25the mouse in a different direction it
41. 1:27activates Mac like gestures like using
42. 1:29two or three finger swipe on a trackpad
43. 1:32or on the Magic Mouse so this makes the
44. 1:35master 3s a lot more versatile and
45. 1:37easier to use if you're a Mac User I've
46. 1:40also really enjoyed the horizontal
47. 1:41scroll wheel on the master 3s even
48. 1:44though I've never had one before it's
49. 1:45very intuitive to use and it makes
50. 1:47editing and applications like Final Cut
51. 1:49Pro a breeze now the anywhere 3s does
52. 1:52allow you to use gestures but you have
53. 1:54to reprogram one of your buttons to use
54. 1:56it and then you have to do that in every
55. 1:58single app in the logic options Plus app
56. 2:01whether you're using Final Cut or Excel
57. 2:03you have to get in and change all of
58. 2:05those to activate the gestures button so
59. 2:07that can be a little bit of a pain and a
60. 2:09nuisance you can also use horizontal
61. 2:11scrolling on the anywhere 3s by pressing
62. 2:14and holding one of the side buttons
63. 2:15while scrolling with the scroll wheel so
64. 2:18you get several of those features that
65. 2:20the master has they're just a little bit
66. 2:22more cumbersome to use I compared the
67. 2:24sound of the clicking on the master and
68. 2:26the anywhere and the clicking on the
69. 2:27anywhere is just a little bit louder
70. 2:29than the clicking on the master
71. 2:34foreign
72. 2:37the anywhere and the master both use
73. 2:39Bluetooth and can be paired to up to
74. 2:41three devices at one time which is
75. 2:42really cool because you can flip the
76. 2:44mouse over and press the device pairing
77. 2:46button to cycle between what devices
78. 2:48you're using so you can seamlessly
79. 2:50switch between using your computer or
80. 2:52your iPad or a second computer too it's
81. 2:55just really quick and easy to switch
82. 2:57what device each of these mice are
83. 2:59paired to the master and the anywhere
84. 3:01are both compatible with the Logitech
85. 3:02bolt USB receiver but only the master
86. 3:05includes this this allows you to just
87. 3:07plug in the USB dongle to any computer
88. 3:09even if it doesn't have Bluetooth and to
89. 3:12still be able to use the mouse so you
90. 3:14get that for free with the master 3s I
91. 3:17love that both of these mice have the
92. 3:19USBC charging port on top of them which
93. 3:22means that you can still use the mouse
94. 3:23while it's being charged take notes
95. 3:25Apple both of them have up to 70 hours
96. 3:27of use and if they're dead charge them
97. 3:30for one minute and you get three hours
98. 3:31of use out of them so battery life on
99. 3:34both of these is not an issue at all the
100. 3:36Masters available in graphite pale gray
101. 3:39and black while the anywhere is
102. 3:41available in graphite pale gray black
103. 3:44and Rose now that we've compared all the
104. 3:47features of the MX anywhere 3s and the
105. 3:49MX Master 3s let's discuss different
106. 3:51scenarios in which you should choose to
107. 3:54buy a certain Mouse the MX Master 3s
108. 3:56retails for a hundred dollars in the MX
109. 3:58anywhere retails for eighty dollars so
110. 4:01they're very similar in price I'll buy
111. 4:03the master 3s for programmability and
112. 4:05comfort you get that horizontal side
113. 4:07button and you also get the gesture
114. 4:09button so that just unlocks a little bit
115. 4:12more custom use out of the mouse when
116. 4:13you compare it to the MX anywhere 3s but
117. 4:16then on the flip side I would pick the
118. 4:18MX anywhere 3s if you're doing a lot of
119. 4:21moving around if you're going to co-work
120. 4:22spaces if you're working at coffee shops
121. 4:25or Starbucks or if you travel around a
122. 4:27lot you're going to appreciate that
123. 4:28smaller size to fit it in your computer
124. 4:31case I would also choose to buy the
125. 4:33anywhere 3s if you want a little bit
126. 4:35more Mouse looking
127. 4:37the master 3s looks a little bit crazy
128. 4:39in comparison especially if you're not
129. 4:41used to having a true ergonomic Mouse so
130. 4:44if you want something that's a little
131. 4:45bit sleeker and more classic looking the
132. 4:48anywhere 3s is better I would also go
133. 4:50ahead and purchase the master 3s if you
134. 4:53have bigger hands or if you find
135. 4:55yourself having a lot of wrist pain and
136. 4:57comfort issues the master 3s just has a
137. 5:00much more ergonomic feel when you
138. 5:01compare it directly to the anywhere 3s
139. 5:04so to tie it all up we've compared both

141. 5:08portability and simplicity by the master
