- 0:02Yeah, what up, Joseph?
- 0:17>> [snorts]
- 0:42>> Oh, dude, I'm tired.
- 0:47I
- 0:48am tired.
- 0:56I stayed up past my bedtime last night
- 1:00watching the UFC fight.
- 1:07Which I don't know if anyone watches
- 1:09that, but that was a pretty good card.
- 1:12They were literally all knockouts,
- 1:13basically.
- 1:17Which was pretty cool.
- 1:19It was also pretty trippy to see people
- 1:21fighting right in front of the White
- 1:22House. I thought that was kind of funny.
- 2:19>> Can you borrow
- 2:2120 cents from my profits?
- 2:24Yeah, I got you, bro.
- 2:28I got you on the 20 cents.
- 2:31Yeah, it's contract rollover right now.
- 2:33So, actually the continuous contract is
- 2:36if you're if you're on
- 2:37um
- 2:39if you're on TradingView,
- 2:41the continuous contract is actually on
- 2:44the U contract already.
- 2:48Um
- 2:50which
- 2:53if you're doing that, your numbers on
- 2:55your chart and what I talk about here
- 2:57today is actually going to not make any
- 2:59sense to you.
- 3:01I'm purposely
- 3:03using the M contract today.
- 3:07Now, I'll probably switch over to the U
- 3:09contract tomorrow.
- 3:15I need to um
- 3:20I know they're rolling over volume,
- 3:23but um
- 3:25as far as for
- 3:28as far as for like
- 3:31the volume that's at least public on the
- 3:33CME, which of course, you know, is going
- 3:35to be totally different once the day
- 3:37ends, but
- 3:39the most of the volume, I think it's
- 3:40still on the uh
- 3:42the M contract.
- 3:45And plus, like some of the tools I have
- 3:47right now are on the M contract, so I
- 3:49just
- 3:50I changed my chart to look at the M
- 3:52contract.
- 3:57I have one of my charts though.
- 3:59This one is on the U contract just in
- 4:01case.
- 4:02But
- 4:04uh
- 4:20Let me just double check real quick. I'm
- 4:22not being an idiot.
- 4:27Yeah, so
- 4:31the open interest and volume is still on
- 4:33the June contract as far as what the CME
- 4:35says, but
- 4:39it's probably going to change after
- 4:40today to be completely honest. It's kind
- 4:42of what I'm what I'm expecting. Probably
- 4:44change after today.
- 4:48What up, Deuce?
- 4:50You back from your trip?
- 4:55Nice.
- 5:00I'm not really expecting us to go fill
- 5:03that gap we created anytime soon. So, I
- 5:06mean
- 5:07it depends.
- 5:09There's kind of a lot going on this
- 5:10week.
- 5:11We had this Trump deal, the peace deal.
- 5:15And then
- 5:16we also have rate hikes, potential rate
- 5:19hikes with Bank of Japan.
- 5:21Which is totally going to
- 5:24I don't know. We got to pay attention to
- 5:26it.
- 5:31So, and then we got contract rollover,
- 5:33and then we got
- 5:35quarter ending.
- 5:40So, we're going to have
- 5:42bunch of expirations Thursday.
- 5:45Probably going to be um
- 5:50kind of nasty because you have
- 5:53weak it's just a it's just a OPEX that
- 5:56has quarterly, monthly, weekly.
- 6:04Am I using DX Feed or Rithmic in ATS?
- 6:07I'm using Rithmic in ATS.
- 6:13And also this morning
- 6:16to start the morning, I am going to
- 6:19trade my funded account
- 6:22with some small size.
- 6:26>> [clears throat]
- 6:28>> Do some looking at the EM contract.
- 6:45Uh level one data or market depth? I use
- 6:48uh level two. I have level two data
- 6:51which includes level one
- 6:54for my Rithmic.
- 6:59Dude, I'm not going to lie though.
- 7:02I kind of feel like [Â __Â ]
- 7:05If I'm going to be straight up,
- 7:06I kind of feel like [Â __Â ]
- 7:10I slept for like
- 7:134 hours.
- 7:33Yeah.
- 7:34Am I
- 7:35um I mean I I don't feel that bad. I'm
- 7:38exaggerating, but because if I really
- 7:40felt like bad, I would not be sitting
- 7:42here. I would have just said like, "Yo,
- 7:44can't do it today."
- 7:46But, um
- 7:51But, last night it was kind of [Â __Â ] up
- 7:52because I was at my buddy's house and he
- 7:55we like before the fight started, he was
- 7:57like, "Oh,
- 7:59we're going to uh
- 8:00we'll take a shot every time someone
- 8:02gets knocked out."
- 8:04And then everybody got knocked out, so I
- 8:05took a bunch of shots yesterday.
- 8:08But,
- 8:10we're good.
- 8:12Unfortunately,
- 8:15my tolerance is kind of high, so it's
- 8:17whatever.
- 8:19Uh do I use gamma levels? Yes, I do.
- 8:23How much do I sleep on average? Dude, I
- 8:25usually go to bed at like 9:00 p.m.
- 8:29Usually go to bed at like 9:00 p.m.
- 8:32And I wake up
- 8:35at like 4:30,
- 8:395:00.
- 8:41So, like 8 hours.
- 8:56This is what Tanuki has for everyone who
- 8:58keeps asking me.
- 9:02This is based off of the M contract.
- 9:05Screenshot it.
- 9:08Feast your eyes on it.
- 9:11There you go.
- 9:17All right.
- 9:19And
- 9:20it's gone.
- 9:30You would drink all of us under the
- 9:31table.
- 9:34Uh
- 9:36I'll let you have that one, brother.
- 9:39I'll let you have that one. I I don't
- 9:41want to be the king king drinker.
- 9:43Honestly, I don't.
- 9:47The morning face, yeah, I don't know
- 9:49Eddie. I just
- 9:50I was watching the fights yesterday.
- 9:53Things got a little out of hand.
- 9:56I'm tired.
- 10:10Oh.
- 10:13All right, let's see what happens here
- 10:15at uh
- 10:18at the open. I'm going to be um
- 10:20probably [clears throat] trading my I
- 10:21mean, I'm on a funded account, so I'm
- 10:23trading my funded account.
- 10:26I'm going to use smaller size though.
- 10:29I have a feeling that we may just
- 10:32I'm watching uh and keep in mind
- 10:34anything I say today is like it's
- 10:37numbers-wise the M contract. So, if
- 10:39you're looking at your chart and you're
- 10:40confused why I'm saying numbers that are
- 10:42way below us, well, it's because you're
- 10:43looking at a different contract than me.
- 10:47I'm watching to see if we actually push
- 10:49up towards uh
- 10:52like 30,400.
- 10:56We're already opening up um
- 10:59we're already making a new high, so
- 11:03we'll see if it continues. If we end up
- 11:04dropping down,
- 11:06um
- 11:06I will be seeing whether or not it's a
- 11:08potential buying opportunity. I
- 11:10you know, highly doubt that we're going
- 11:13to touch the gap like even touch the gap
- 11:14today, let alone fill it.
- 11:17It's probably going to happen later.
- 11:19Maybe later this week, maybe next week,
- 11:21I don't know.
- 11:23But
- 11:52>> I think my data is delayed right now.
- 11:57All right, I think we're going to
- 11:58probably just rip right now.
- 12:03I'm going to enter in
- 12:05four micros.
- 12:07My stop I'm going to have a stop that's
- 12:09below the uh
- 12:14Oh, [Â __Â ] Can you guys not see it?
- 12:21Mhm.
- 12:24Here, I'll just mark it out like this
- 12:26then.
- 12:28And then we'll figure it out later.
- 12:37Looking for like 400.
- 12:48I'm actually going to move my stop to uh
- 12:51break even and then I'm going to get
- 12:53out.
- 12:54I'm going to set a TP hard TP front
- 12:57running
- 12:59front running 400 just barely.
- 13:08Let me see why this isn't working real
- 13:10quick.
- 13:18Mhm.
- 13:19What's showing?
- 13:23Oh, this is showing. Uh there we go.
- 13:26There we go.
- 13:35Honestly, kind of a
- 13:39Am I tripping or is this like a super
- 13:41weak open?
- 13:46Maybe the maybe the volume in the open
- 13:48interest really did roll over to the to
- 13:49the new contract.
- 13:58Or it's just kind of like because we're
- 14:01in that
- 14:02time where they're rolling over.
- 14:05You know, who knows?
- 14:08Who knows?
- 14:10Oh, you're on September is the same
- 14:12thing.
- 14:16All right, I'm trailing stop behind this
- 14:17big uh spire.
- 14:21Come on. We're almost there.
- 14:25We're going for uh 64 points. We got
- 14:28some orders sitting up here. We just got
- 14:30to be careful when we do
- 14:31get to like 30,000
- 14:34410.
- 14:59Again, edged right now.
- 15:04It's literally right there. Come on.
- 15:34>> No, we're just going to leave it.
- 15:38We're going to give it a little bit of
- 15:39breathing room here.
- 16:22Boo.
- 16:24What kind of edge?
- 16:27We got [Â __Â ] edge.
- 16:34Boo.
- 16:40There it goes.
- 16:42Man.
- 16:43What a bummer.
- 16:46It's all right.
- 16:48I probably should have
- 16:50should have either trailed my stop more
- 16:51aggressively
- 16:53when we were struggling up there or I
- 16:55should have just like not trailed it at
- 16:56all.
- 17:01[Â __Â ] NQ.
- 17:05Ah, [sighs] what the [Â __Â ] was that,
- 17:08dude?
- 17:13It literally came down like a
- 17:17like right to my TP.
- 17:19Or right to my stop loss. All right, so
- 17:21I'm watching around 410.
- 17:23See if we're going to um
- 17:26Honestly, dude, if we're if it's going
- 17:27to be kind of weak like this,
- 17:31I might just like catch my 200 bucks for
- 17:33the day on this uh
- 17:36on this funded account just for an
- 17:37eligible day, and then I might just
- 17:39stop.
- 18:01And just let the uh
- 18:04let the contracts
- 18:06roll over, have the volume all be on the
- 18:09same thing, and then hopefully
- 18:15move a little better.
- 18:36It's telling me rollover is required.
- 18:41All right, then I'm going to roll over.
- 18:44on the execution side.
- 18:47my execution chart
- 18:55options
- 19:00symbol rollover symbols rollover
- 19:04need rollover
- 19:07What the hell is this, dude? Why does it
- 19:08do this?
- 19:09Well, then perform rollover.
- 19:31Ah.
- 19:33Wait, where did my profits go?
- 19:38Account balance is still there.
- 19:42Weird.
- 20:01So, we're currently running up into uh
- 20:06this area here.
- 20:08If we [clears throat] kind of
- 20:10fail, I might actually just try and
- 20:11scalp shorts, but
- 20:14I would honestly prefer not to short
- 20:16this.
- 20:20What up, Apex Zia?
- 20:30But,
- 20:32I don't know why the P&L went away, but
- 20:34we're up 150 right now. It just went
- 20:36away after I did the
- 20:38symbol rollover.
- 20:45But, we should have been up 400 like
- 20:47480.
- 20:49I just
- 20:51got stopped out
- 20:52right here.
- 21:05So, we're rejecting off
- 21:07410.
- 21:11Which is all which is 710. There's a
- 21:14There's like a 300
- 21:16300-point difference between the
- 21:17contracts, huh?
- 21:46I'm going to enter in short.
- 21:49I'm going to enter in short.
- 21:52Stop's going at the highs.
- 22:03Need to see if we're actually going to
- 22:06follow through.
- 22:11Otherwise, we might just be
- 22:14Yeah.
- 22:15Dipping down before we just rip up
- 22:17again.
- 22:38Well, that was [Â __Â ]
- 22:42That was [Â __Â ]
- 22:48All right, we're honestly
- 22:52[Â __Â ] that [Â __Â ] dude.
- 22:55That was stupid on my part, but
- 23:08>> I'm going to switch over to the
- 23:11So, one 150. So, this account is down
- 23:15right now um
- 23:18$250.
- 23:20I know it says 400, but I'm not down
- 23:23400.
- 23:24I'm down 250 bucks.
- 23:27Cuz we were up 150 prior. It's just
- 23:30whenever I rolled over the contracts,
- 23:31it's not showing it.
- 23:36So, we went long
- 23:38at the open.
- 23:42Trailing stop got hit.
- 23:45We came up in a 410. We were stalling.
- 23:48We started dropping down.
- 23:51I went short.
- 23:53And the moment I go short, we rip it
- 23:54back up.
- 24:04So, I'm going to just leave that how it
- 24:06is. It's down 250 on the day.
- 24:09Um
- 24:11we're going to switch over
- 24:14to
- 24:20my Apex accounts.
- 24:23The ones I need to pass.
- 24:57Honestly though, like
- 24:59>> [clears throat]
- 24:59>> I'm going to give it I'm going to see
- 25:01what happens when we open up here.
- 25:06On the on the four hour, but if we're
- 25:07going to have
- 25:12low volume like this, I'm going to um
- 25:16I'm going to just like let it
- 25:18do whatever it's going to do and then
- 25:19I'll just come back to trade tomorrow.
- 25:31How do you roll over the contract on
- 25:32ATS?
- 25:34Um
- 25:36You go up to click on the symbol.
- 25:40And then
- 25:41you just type in MNQ.
- 25:44And then it'll pop up all the different
- 25:45contracts.
- 25:47You need to use um
- 25:49MNQU6.
- 25:52That's the new contract we'll be at.
- 26:47Let me see something. I think the volume
- 26:49is
- 26:51I think I'm tripping right now.
- 27:01Okay.
- 27:04All right.
- 27:06No, I'm just I
- 27:08We got a
- 27:10I'm an idiot. Don't don't use the don't
- 27:12use the M contract.
- 27:14Just use the use the the September one.
- 27:18I can see the volume.
- 27:26I got to change all my charts, actually.
- 27:31Cuz I'm I was looking at the volume and
- 27:33I was like, man, 19,000 that doesn't
- 27:35seem right. I was like this seems way
- 27:37too low for the open. And then I was
- 27:39looking at uh
- 27:41the contract that I changed and it's
- 27:43like 61 46 44, which is like normal.
- 27:48So,
- 27:49I change that.
- 27:54So, I assume that at the end of the day
- 27:56today, if you go check the volume and
- 27:58open interest on the CME,
- 28:01it's probably going to all be
- 28:03it's going to be flipped by the end of
- 28:05it's going to show that it's flipped.
- 28:21NMQ
- 28:24U
- 28:266 All right, chill.
- 28:33Damn, we should have just uh
- 28:36held our held our longs from the open,
- 28:37huh?
- 28:39We would have been uh where where did we
- 28:40get in? We got in like right here?
- 28:43Yeah.
- 28:46Fumbled
- 28:51Hindsight.
- 28:53It's my favorite type of analysis.
- 28:56The hindsight analysis.
- 29:45Well, if we're just going to do this
- 29:47like weird pump up like this, there's
- 29:48really not a lot that I can do.
- 29:53Other than just pile in.
- 29:55No, we're not going to do that.
- 30:08Cuz at the open
- 30:11I was watching us push down and then we
- 30:13had we had sellers stepping in and
- 30:15immediately rejected. That's why I went
- 30:16long and then
- 30:18I thought when this was happening here
- 30:22and we were at that level that we were
- 30:23going to potentially rotate back
- 30:26at least towards the open
- 30:28where I could move my stop to break
- 30:29even, but then it just ripped up again,
- 30:30so.
- 30:32Now, if it's going to keep
- 30:34pushing up
- 30:37then I got to wait for it to like
- 30:41Like look at that. I got to wait for it
- 30:42to like do something.
- 31:18Oh, great.
- 31:34Wait.
- 31:51Should I
- 31:59I don't know how that [Â __Â ] still
- 32:00confuses me, dude.
- 32:06With B with B adjust on and off, it's
- 32:10adjusting for the contract rollovers.
- 32:14To like smooth out your chart.
- 32:17And it causes a
- 32:21400-point difference.
- 32:25Void, help me out, dude. What What did
- 32:27we decide last time? Do we keep it on or
- 32:29off?
- 32:37Okay, so it off.
- 33:11So, that means that we're
- 33:13Does that mean that we're at all-time
- 33:15high then?
- 34:08Let me look at it on this.
- 34:11Oh, we're right here. Okay, so all-time
- 34:12high is right there.
- 34:15Damn, we're already back at all-time
- 34:16high, huh?
- 34:38>> So, on deep charts
- 34:42Hold on.
- 34:58is
- 35:00I'm going to figure it out. I'm going to
- 35:01figure it out later.
- 35:09Because
- 35:11with B adjust on
- 35:14on TradingView
- 35:19it has us like because original all-time
- 35:22high before contract rollover was like
- 35:24right around here, 30,800. And then it
- 35:27changed it. So, it's showing a price
- 35:29that we never actually reached, which
- 35:31which is 31,100.
- 35:35I don't know how to
- 35:39on deep charts and A test, I don't know
- 35:40how to
- 35:42it's treating it the same way as B
- 35:44adjust on when I'm choosing the
- 35:46individual contracts.
- 35:48Which is weird because I'm not on a
- 35:49continuous contract.
- 35:58I'll figure it out later.
- 36:01Uh Deuce, I Well, I use it when I trade
- 36:04off of futures, but
- 36:07I'm now I'm I'm using it for my Apex.
- 36:14Well, just just for execution. Just the
- 36:16execution side things.
- 36:49>> I'm going to trade Asia today though.
- 36:52I want to see what happens. What time
- 36:53What time does the BOJ rate decision
- 36:55come out?
- 37:03It's tentative.
- 37:06For the statement.
- 37:092100 8
- 37:129 9:00 p.m.
- 37:14for me.
- 37:17It's kind of late actually.
- 37:37Yesterday they raised the rate. How How
- 37:39does that work? I thought the rate
- 37:41decision was
- 37:43today.
- 37:45Am I reading this wrong?
- 37:48I thought I thought that's what market
- 37:50expectations were.
- 38:09Yeah, now the the rate decision hasn't
- 38:11been released yet. It's later today.
- 38:14Tonight.
- 38:17Well, technically tomorrow for Eastern.
- 38:23But they're expecting uh
- 38:291% raising it to 1%.
- 38:56Yeah, it should be interesting.
- 39:00Also, when's the
- 39:05When's the first Fed meeting with the
- 39:07new guy?
- 39:10On the 17th?
- 39:19Dude, I'm not going to trade I'm not
- 39:20going to trade during that.
- 39:23Although, I'll watch it though.
- 39:26The start of a new era.
- 39:28No more Powell. Got What's that guy's
- 39:30name? What's the new guy's name?
- 39:40Walsh. That's right.
- 39:43Walsh.
- 39:50Yeah, it should be interesting because
- 39:52like
- 39:53you know, when when rate decisions
- 39:55happen
- 39:58I mean, we already have expectations and
- 39:59then
- 40:01typically they'll
- 40:02usually
- 40:05most times the expectations will usually
- 40:07align with what actually happens. So,
- 40:08it's not necessarily the rate decision
- 40:10that causes like uh
- 40:15some of these crazier moves.
- 40:17It's more so [clears throat] when he
- 40:18starts at when they start asking
- 40:20questions and stuff. And I feel like,
- 40:22you know,
- 40:23majority people got kind of used to how
- 40:25Powell talks and how he says things and
- 40:26reading in between the lines. And then
- 40:28now we got a new person where they got
- 40:30to kind of like feel it out a little
- 40:31bit.
- 40:55They start slashing rates.
- 41:03That'd be pretty crazy. I mean, I assume
- 41:05that that's probably the plan, void.
- 41:08Cuz I know that's kind of what Trump
- 41:09wants to do.
- 41:13And um
- 41:15I assume he picked that picked that guy
- 41:17because he probably aligns with his
- 41:18plan.
- 41:21Yeah.
- 41:22Makes sense to me.
- 41:40That's a nasty 15-minute work.
- 42:34>> So I hope we at least form a little bit
- 42:36of structure so I could trade something.
- 42:38We just kind of went straight up. So now
- 42:40we're coming down a little bit.
- 42:45We're going to copy trade these five
- 42:46accounts. Um
- 42:50if we see something.
- 42:52The funded account
- 42:54fumbled it. You know, we went long. It
- 42:56should have worked out. Kind of fumbled
- 42:57that.
- 43:01And then we try to short it.
- 43:05And then now it's down 250 bucks.
- 43:08Probably just take the $250 L.
- 43:15Because we're moving kind of
- 43:17moving a little slower today.
- 43:20Well,
- 43:21you know you know
- 43:23it's slightly What if we're just moving
- 43:25normally now and we just I just got used
- 43:28to crazy speed
- 43:32from last week.
- 43:34Cuz last week we're moving around really
- 43:35fast.
- 43:38Every day was super volatile.
- 43:43Cuz we are we're we're making distance
- 43:45like
- 43:46these are still
- 43:5170 points. I mean that's a decent
- 43:53amount.
- 46:01>> Honestly,
- 46:06I think it's honestly a better idea if I
- 46:08don't trade anymore
- 46:09because
- 46:11I'm kind of tired.
- 46:14I don't think it's a good idea to be
- 46:15trading when I'm tired.
- 46:16I already took a L on the other account.
- 46:20And I think I'm going to wait for um
- 46:24wait for tomorrow.
- 46:27So, kind of a more boring day, my bad.
- 46:30But,
- 46:34I feel like if I trade right now, I'm
- 46:35probably going to just lose bread, so.
- 46:39We're going to do some capital capital
- 46:41protection.
- 46:44I'm running on I'm running on uh
- 46:46not a lot of sleep.
- 46:54>> [laughter]
- 46:54>> Is that actually what she named her
- 46:56stream?
- 46:58Then, wait. Now,
- 47:04Now, I feel like a [Â __Â ] if I [Â __Â ]
- 47:08get
- 47:10Now, I feel like a [Â __Â ] if I get off.
- 47:16No, I'll I'll chill, but I don't know if
- 47:17I'm going to trade. I'll sit here for a
- 47:19little bit though.
- 47:35But, it'll be it'll probably be a better
- 47:36idea
- 47:38to actually trade tomorrow. [music]
- 47:51In the past, there's been times where
- 47:53I've
- 47:54traded while
- 47:56I was slightly tired.
- 47:59And it usually doesn't work out that
- 48:00well.
- 50:11>> RTY
- 50:28What's the tick value for this?
- 50:35I've never traded the Russell before.
- 50:44What up, Ivan?
- 50:48What's the tick value?
- 50:50Like how how much per contract on a
- 50:52mini?
- 51:10$5
- 51:11$5 per tick?
- 51:31Yeah, but like how much does the like it
- 51:34what's the tick value though, you know
- 51:35what I mean?
- 51:37Like
- 51:38you know how
- 51:40it's like $5 per tick on NQ.
- 51:46Or it's $12.50 per tick on ES.
- 52:00It's a $5 per tick on
- 52:02Russell.
- 52:07I know YM is like that. YM's like $5 per
- 52:09tick.
- 52:14Okay.
- 52:36Yeah, we did have a pretty large gap up.
- 53:02I think I'm going to get off, dude.
- 53:05I think I'm going to get off, otherwise
- 53:06we're just going to sit here in silence.
- 53:09So,
- 53:10I'm probably just hop in the voice chat
- 53:13in the Discord and chill.
- 53:17So, just a recap, we went long.
- 53:20Went like, I don't know,
- 53:2280 ticks in It well, it went in profit
- 53:25like 20 or 30 points, and then or
- 53:27actually more than that, like 50 points
- 53:29in profit, and then it
- 53:32it turned around, hit me out for like
- 53:35Basically, long story short, I'm I'm
- 53:37down $250 on a funded account, and then
- 53:39everything else So, touched. I haven't
- 53:41really traded it.
- 53:44So, I'm going to uh
- 53:47I'm I'm going to just come back
- 53:48tomorrow.
- 53:49I also think that we may potentially
- 53:51chop right now, so I don't even want to
- 53:52sit here through this.
- 53:55So, I'll catch you guys later.
- 53:57Peace.
