  9. 0:18dissatisfied in just about every area of
  10. 0:20my life at one point or another i felt
  11. 0:23stuck and unfulfilled sometimes reaching
  12. 0:26for this goal or that goal but never
  13. 0:28really having a north star
  14. 0:31guiding me towards the overall life that
  15. 0:33i really wanted
  16. 0:35that is until one day i had a vision
  17. 0:38that i actually wanted to do something
  18. 0:40about it so i started googling
  19. 0:43and i was looking for not just any
  20. 0:46ordinary personal development program
  21. 0:48what i was really hungry for was
  22. 0:51something that was going to help me
  23. 0:52create the life that i really wanted on
  24. 0:55my own terms
  25. 0:58and that's when i discovered lifebug
  26. 1:01after doing a lot of research and
  27. 1:02attending a master class i quickly
  28. 1:05realized that lifebook is unlike any
  29. 1:07other personal development program out
  30. 1:08there
  31. 1:09rather than prescribing to you what you
  32. 1:11should want for your own life lifebook
  33. 1:14really challenges you to dive deeply
  34. 1:16into your wants your desires your
  35. 1:18passions
  36. 1:19in order to create a personal vision for
  37. 1:22your ideal life
  38. 1:23and then to start creating the building
  39. 1:26blocks that can move you towards living
  40. 1:28that ideal life
  41. 1:30so
  42. 1:31i ask you to sit back and relax while i
  43. 1:34share a presentation with you
  44. 1:35introducing you to lifebook a lifestyle
  45. 1:39design system that has transformed my
  46. 1:41life and the lives of over 60 000 others
  47. 1:45all right so let's get to it
  48. 1:48so what exactly is a life book
  49. 1:51well a life book is a
  50. 1:54system
  51. 1:55that allows you to reimagine your own
  52. 1:59life
  53. 2:00design it and achieve it the way you
  54. 2:02want
  55. 2:03through an intuitive step-by-step
  56. 2:05process you'll discover who you really
  57. 2:07are and what you really want in 12
  58. 2:10different areas of your life and then
  59. 2:13create an action plan that's personal to
  60. 2:15you
  61. 2:16to make it happen
  62. 2:19so let's break this down a little bit
  63. 2:21these are the 12 categories of lifebook
  64. 2:24you've got your health and fitness
  65. 2:27your intellectual
  66. 2:28emotional
  67. 2:30your character who you really are on the
  68. 2:32inside
  69. 2:33spiritual
  70. 2:35your love relationship
  71. 2:37parenting
  72. 2:39social life
  73. 2:40your career
  74. 2:42your financial life
  75. 2:44your quality of life and then your
  76. 2:47overall life vision
  77. 2:51so for each of the categories
  78. 2:53we're going to dive deeply to consider
  79. 2:56the answers to the following four
  80. 2:58questions
  81. 2:59number one
  82. 3:00what do you really want
  83. 3:03no one else not family not friends not
  84. 3:06society what do you want
  85. 3:09we call that your vision
  86. 3:11number two
  87. 3:12why do you want it
  88. 3:14does it align with your values your
  89. 3:16personality your lifestyle
  90. 3:19we call that our purpose
  91. 3:22number three
  92. 3:24what may be holding you back from having
  93. 3:27your dream in this category meaning do
  94. 3:30you have any beliefs any limiting
  95. 3:32beliefs that could be holding you back
  96. 3:35so we call that our premise or our
  97. 3:37beliefs
  98. 3:38and finally
  99. 3:40what are the strategies what are the
  100. 3:42steps that you're going to put into
  101. 3:44place that is going to slowly chip at
  102. 3:47achieving the stream and we call that
  103. 3:50our strategies
  104. 3:53so let's spend a little time digging
  105. 3:55into each of the 12 categories
  106. 3:58and we'll start with health and fitness
  107. 4:01so you might be wondering why health and
  108. 4:03fitness is number one of all the 12
  109. 4:05categories
  110. 4:07and really it comes down to the fact
  111. 4:09that if we are not taking care of
  112. 4:12ourselves our physical bodies our mental
  113. 4:14bodies
  114. 4:15everything else is unachievable
  115. 4:19so it is paramount that we take care of
  116. 4:21ourself in order to be able to reach our
  117. 4:24goals
  118. 4:25so one thing i thought it would be kind
  119. 4:27of fun to be able to do as i share life
  120. 4:29book with you is to share my personal
  121. 4:33life book with you
  122. 4:35so for me in my health and fitness
  123. 4:38category
  124. 4:39the vision or what i really want for my
  125. 4:41health and fitness
  126. 4:42is the following
  127. 4:44i look and feel amazing and have the
  128. 4:46mental and physical vitality to live
  129. 4:49every moment
  130. 4:51to the fullest
  131. 4:52i'm conscious of what i put in my body
  132. 4:55and how i use my body
  133. 4:58additionally
  134. 5:00one of the two beliefs that i have
  135. 5:02around my health and fitness category is
  136. 5:05discipline and dedication are the only
  137. 5:07way to achieve the results i desire
  138. 5:11i mean wouldn't it be great
  139. 5:13if we can eat whatever we want and never
  140. 5:15have to work out in order to have the
  141. 5:18perfect body and be in the perfect shape
  142. 5:20but it just doesn't work that way and we
  143. 5:23have to be committed to a healthy
  144. 5:25lifestyle in order to be able to achieve
  145. 5:27one
  146. 5:30next up is the intellectual category
  147. 5:33you know with this category i
  148. 5:36realized that i had a pretty limiting
  149. 5:38belief
  150. 5:39where i had thought all my life that
  151. 5:43intelligence is about all the things you
  152. 5:46know you're either smart or you're not
  153. 5:48smart and
  154. 5:49all of that
  155. 5:50and what i've come to realize about this
  156. 5:53category is it's about
  157. 5:56being open to the universe to receiving
  158. 5:59different points of view and different
  159. 6:01ideas
  160. 6:03that's how i now define intelligence
  161. 6:07here's my vision for my intellectual
  162. 6:09category
  163. 6:11i consciously focus on a life of
  164. 6:13never-ending intellectual growth
  165. 6:16and will use my life book as a guiding
  166. 6:18tool for inspiration and motivation
  167. 6:22and in my strategy section for this
  168. 6:25category i really go deep in terms of
  169. 6:28making sure i'm spending time
  170. 6:31every single week on personal
  171. 6:32development and growth
  172. 6:34to really be committed to it it just
  173. 6:37feels
  174. 6:38amazing to continue to be open to new
  175. 6:41experiences and new information
  176. 6:44over the past couple of years i have
  177. 6:46really begun to dive pretty deeply into
  178. 6:50meditation and mindfulness
  179. 6:53and boy has it been a game changer in my
  180. 6:55life for someone who's always been prone
  181. 6:58to a temper
  182. 7:00and emotional overreactions
  183. 7:03being more mindful has been just a game
  184. 7:06changer for me
  185. 7:08and so one of the things i realized
  186. 7:11through this even though i think i was
  187. 7:12starting to get it over the last couple
  188. 7:14years
  189. 7:15is
  190. 7:16that we actually do
  191. 7:18very much have control over our emotions
  192. 7:22and we have control over our thoughts
  193. 7:24and you know the emotional life category
  194. 7:28was a beautiful way
  195. 7:30for me to be able to really define that
  196. 7:34in a in a in just a wonderful way
  197. 7:38so one of the new beliefs that i created
  198. 7:41for my emotional life category
  199. 7:43was the following
  200. 7:45my emotional intelligence is a product
  201. 7:47of two things
  202. 7:49emotional insight the ability to be
  203. 7:51conscious of accepting of and learning
  204. 7:54from my emotions
  205. 7:56and emotional control
  206. 7:58the ability to create the emotions i
  207. 8:01want in my life
  208. 8:03one of the strategies i created for my
  209. 8:05emotional life category
  210. 8:07is the following
  211. 8:09study the emotions that feed my energy
  212. 8:12so my joy excitement peace happiness
  213. 8:16and the emotions that deplete my energy
  214. 8:19worry anxiety fear jealousy and pay
  215. 8:23attention to the circumstances and
  216. 8:26thoughts that led to these positive or
  217. 8:28negative emotions
  218. 8:30and start practicing
  219. 8:33removing the circumstances or thoughts
  220. 8:35that led to the depleted energy
  221. 8:38and practice infusing my life with those
  222. 8:41circumstances and thoughts that lead it
  223. 8:43towards positive and energy producing
  224. 8:46emotions
  225. 8:47now this ain't something that's going to
  226. 8:50be overnight it's going to take
  227. 8:52time to build this into our lives and
  228. 8:55i'm not there yet i've been doing this
  229. 8:57for
  230. 8:58about eight months now and it's a daily
  231. 9:01practice but it's getting a little bit
  232. 9:04better each and every day
  233. 9:06towards being able to have more control
  234. 9:08over my emotions i gotta tell you the
  235. 9:11character category was a sneaker
  236. 9:13category for me
  237. 9:15i was not expecting it to hit as hard as
  238. 9:17it did
  239. 9:18and i
  240. 9:20believe for me
  241. 9:22it was actually the one that was the
  242. 9:25most powerful for me
  243. 9:27so the idea of your character is who do
  244. 9:30you really want to be
  245. 9:32you are in complete control over that
  246. 9:35right so you want to be generous if you
  247. 9:37want to be
  248. 9:38a dick
  249. 9:40you know like whatever it is you truly
  250. 9:43want for your life
  251. 9:45you get to choose that
  252. 9:47so here is my vision for my character
  253. 9:51i am self-disciplined determined and
  254. 9:54courageous
  255. 9:55i can be afraid and still accomplish
  256. 9:58anything i set my mind to
  257. 10:01i am kind sincere and have a deep
  258. 10:03respect for others and i'm not afraid to
  259. 10:06show my vulnerable side
  260. 10:08i know who i am and from now on that is
  261. 10:11how i will show up in the world
  262. 10:14i actually have two premise statements
  263. 10:16for my character
  264. 10:17the first one is in order to have an
  265. 10:19extraordinary life
  266. 10:21establishing and nurturing great
  267. 10:24character traits is essential
  268. 10:26number two i consciously choose the
  269. 10:29character i want to build in my life and
  270. 10:32must practice them often so they become
  271. 10:34habits
  272. 10:35it's not going to happen automatically
  273. 10:37we got to practice those traits that we
  274. 10:40really want to be in our lives
  275. 10:43prior to going through the life book
  276. 10:44program i had a belief around
  277. 10:47spirituality
  278. 10:48that was
  279. 10:50way off
  280. 10:52growing up in a family that really was
  281. 10:55not super religious
  282. 10:57i think i was confused about
  283. 11:01whether in order to be spiritual you
  284. 11:05needed to be religious
  285. 11:07and as i've learned
  286. 11:10through going through the life book
  287. 11:12program
  288. 11:13being spiritual is about being connected
  289. 11:17in the world
  290. 11:18it's about
  291. 11:20opening your heart to the possibilities
  292. 11:23you know of of this world and beyond
  293. 11:26the vision for my spirituality category
  294. 11:28is
  295. 11:29my spiritual path is a journey of
  296. 11:32self-actualization
  297. 11:34providing me with deep trust in the
  298. 11:36universe and in my ability to contribute
  299. 11:39to make the world a better place
  300. 11:41my why or my purpose
  301. 11:44for my spiritual life
  302. 11:46is my spiritual purpose is to enjoy the
  303. 11:50experience of awakening
  304. 11:52shifting my perspective from
  305. 11:54judgment to acceptance
  306. 11:57intolerance to embracing differences
  307. 12:00fear to love
  308. 12:02and peace and gratitude
  309. 12:04so this is my hubby mike
  310. 12:07it was taken within the first few months
  311. 12:09of our dating and we've now been
  312. 12:11together for over 21 years
  313. 12:15so in my love relationship category
  314. 12:18i really dug deep my husband and i
  315. 12:22have had a
  316. 12:24definitely a roller coaster as many
  317. 12:27other couples can attest to it's had
  318. 12:30some big ups and big downs so going
  319. 12:33through this category
  320. 12:35tore my heart open in terms of how much
  321. 12:38i'm really giving and how much i was
  322. 12:41expecting
  323. 12:43so i actually had a hard time picking
  324. 12:45just a single premise for this category
  325. 12:48so i'm gonna share my three
  326. 12:50beliefs with you the first one is i am
  327. 12:53married to my best friend he's the
  328. 12:55person i want to spend the rest of my
  329. 12:57life with
  330. 12:59in order to have an extraordinary
  331. 13:01relationship with my husband
  332. 13:03i must become an extraordinary person
  333. 13:06number three
  334. 13:08true love is about giving without any
  335. 13:10expectation of anything in return
  336. 13:14boy
  337. 13:16has it really really changed
  338. 13:19my perspective and my life
  339. 13:22to really start to realize these beliefs
  340. 13:26after so many years of going through the
  341. 13:28motions in my marriage to mike
  342. 13:31i had a really good time completing the
  343. 13:33strategy section of the love category
  344. 13:36a few examples of things that i've
  345. 13:38included in my strategy section are
  346. 13:40finding courses with mike and i where we
  347. 13:42can increase our communication and
  348. 13:44intimacy
  349. 13:46date nights really being intentional
  350. 13:48about going on dates where to go doing
  351. 13:51overnights going on small trips whenever
  352. 13:54possible just really being very
  353. 13:56intentional about that
  354. 13:58um taking time each day to connect about
  355. 14:01our day the good the bad just really
  356. 14:04bonding and connecting with one another
  357. 14:07remaining curious
  358. 14:08you know like there's always something
  359. 14:10to learn about the person that you're
  360. 14:13with even if you've been together for
  361. 14:14many years you just need to be able to
  362. 14:18be open to it
  363. 14:20and
  364. 14:21and also being very
  365. 14:23clear about my own needs about my own
  366. 14:27desires and wants and speaking up and
  367. 14:30asking for it
  368. 14:32if you are not a parent and have no
  369. 14:34desire of becoming a parent in the
  370. 14:36future
  371. 14:38you can still utilize the parenting
  372. 14:40category
  373. 14:41as a way of being able to reflect on
  374. 14:44those relationships that you have where
  375. 14:46you can mentor someone whether or not
  376. 14:49that's a co-worker an employee
  377. 14:51a niece a nephew a sibling
  378. 14:54whatever that could look like it's the
  379. 14:56relationship where you have an
  380. 14:58opportunity to influence others
  381. 15:01i am blessed to be the parent of two
  382. 15:04boys
  383. 15:05a 13 year old who is my biological son
  384. 15:09and a 21 year old who is my step or
  385. 15:12bonus son
  386. 15:13so the two premise statements that i
  387. 15:15have for my parenting category
  388. 15:18number one is my job as a parent is to
  389. 15:21raise independent healthy happy and
  390. 15:24courageous men it's my responsibility to
  391. 15:27teach them what they need to know to
  392. 15:29successfully be able to navigate through
  393. 15:31life it's a tall order i know
  394. 15:34number two
  395. 15:35how i live my life will set the example
  396. 15:39to my boys
  397. 15:40choose what i say
  398. 15:42what i do and how i live my life wisely
  399. 15:46a couple of strategies that i have for
  400. 15:47the parenting category are number one
  401. 15:51deeply consider the type of relationship
  402. 15:53i want to have with each son
  403. 15:56both these boys are so different in
  404. 15:58terms of personality that it's important
  405. 16:01for me
  406. 16:02to really tap into the type of
  407. 16:04relationship that i want to have with
  408. 16:07them that's going to best suit their
  409. 16:09personality and my personality and it's
  410. 16:12going to take some creativity it's going
  411. 16:14to probably take some trial and error
  412. 16:17but boy is it worth it
  413. 16:19number two
  414. 16:20instill in my kids that their destiny is
  415. 16:24going to be determined through the daily
  416. 16:25choices and actions that they make
  417. 16:28we only get this one life
  418. 16:30teach them to live their lives on
  419. 16:32purpose
  420. 16:34okay well i'm gonna get very vulnerable
  421. 16:37here
  422. 16:38and admit that the social life category
  423. 16:41was the one that was the most difficult
  424. 16:43for me
  425. 16:45i have always been
  426. 16:47very shy and introverted and it may not
  427. 16:50always seem that way because i stretch
  428. 16:52and i push myself like hell
  429. 16:54but i'm telling you being social and
  430. 16:57putting myself out there is a real
  431. 17:00challenge for me
  432. 17:02but it was also the most rewarding
  433. 17:04category for me
  434. 17:06because once i was able to break through
  435. 17:09and unlock some of the limiting beliefs
  436. 17:11that i had around
  437. 17:13my worthiness and my self-esteem and
  438. 17:17areas that i really do do need to work
  439. 17:20on
  440. 17:20it really helped open my eyes to the
  441. 17:23possibilities
  442. 17:25so i want to share with you my vision
  443. 17:27for my social life category
  444. 17:30my vision is i want incredible
  445. 17:32friendships that enhance my life
  446. 17:34friendships that challenge me to become
  447. 17:36the very best version of myself
  448. 17:39i want to be strategic in the
  449. 17:40friendships that i make and must ensure
  450. 17:43that i am a great friend myself
  451. 17:46so a few of the strategies in my social
  452. 17:48life category that i want to share
  453. 17:51the first one is to learn how to own my
  454. 17:55story proudly
  455. 17:58i've spent all my life
  456. 18:00hiding behind someone that i thought
  457. 18:03other people wanted me to be
  458. 18:05instead of just being authentically
  459. 18:08myself
  460. 18:09and by being myself
  461. 18:11that's when i will attract those who are
  462. 18:15going to be
  463. 18:16the best connections in my life
  464. 18:19another strategy is to become crystal
  465. 18:21clear
  466. 18:22what are the values the qualities the
  467. 18:24personality traits that i would be
  468. 18:26looking for in my ideal friendships
  469. 18:29right like we can define that
  470. 18:32and
  471. 18:33what are the values and qualities that i
  472. 18:35don't want
  473. 18:37and then finally expanding my social
  474. 18:39network putting myself out there getting
  475. 18:42out into different networking events
  476. 18:44calling that friend that i haven't
  477. 18:45talked to in a year
  478. 18:47doing the things that i've been
  479. 18:50paralyzed from doing for fear of
  480. 18:52rejection
  481. 18:53it's time to stop that crap it's time to
  482. 18:56start living my life and having a social
  483. 18:59life that i know that i am worthy of
  484. 19:04going through the career category
  485. 19:06changed everything for me
  486. 19:09i think i have lived
  487. 19:11so many years
  488. 19:13going through the motions feeling as
  489. 19:15though okay well i got the degree i got
  490. 19:17the mba i got this i went up the ladder
  491. 19:20i'm where i'm at is where i need to be
  492. 19:22and finally being able to realize that i
  493. 19:27have the choice to make at any time to
  494. 19:31do work that i truly love and am
  495. 19:33passionate about
  496. 19:35and so
  497. 19:36it's set the wheels in motion
  498. 19:39for me to go on this journey to now
  499. 19:42become a life coach and a life book
  500. 19:44leader
  501. 19:45so the vision i created for my career
  502. 19:47category is
  503. 19:49i make a living doing what i love to do
  504. 19:52i'm continuously learning and growing my
  505. 19:55work adds tremendous value to others and
  506. 19:58i'm in love with the journey
  507. 20:01so i had this
  508. 20:02pretty limiting belief when it came to
  509. 20:05my financial life that i know a lot of
  510. 20:08people share as well
  511. 20:10and it really comes down to this sense
  512. 20:13that
  513. 20:14even though intuitively i want more
  514. 20:17money and i would love to have more
  515. 20:18money there was something inside of me
  516. 20:21that really felt like there's this
  517. 20:24evilness that comes with money right
  518. 20:27like the the people on the top and you
  519. 20:30know the the corporations and this and
  520. 20:32that but really it's not the money
  521. 20:36itself that has anything to do with evil
  522. 20:39it's power and it's greed and not the
  523. 20:42money you can use money for
  524. 20:45good not only for yourself but in the
  525. 20:48world and for others
  526. 20:50so i was really proud of the vision that
  527. 20:53i created for my financial life category
  528. 20:55so my vision is my life is filled with
  529. 20:58financial abundance i'm at peace when
  530. 21:01thinking about finances
  531. 21:03there's always enough money and all of
  532. 21:05my financial stress is gone
  533. 21:07i'm able to live very comfortably and
  534. 21:09also share with others in need
  535. 21:12i got very serious about the strategies
  536. 21:14for my financial life category
  537. 21:16as someone who has had credit card debt
  538. 21:18since her early 20s becoming more
  539. 21:21financially intelligent was really
  540. 21:24really important to me
  541. 21:25so i prioritized
  542. 21:27books and podcasts and anything to help
  543. 21:30me learn more about wealth learn more
  544. 21:32about investing
  545. 21:34and i am proud to say that the first
  546. 21:36time since my early 20s i am credit card
  547. 21:39and debt free other than my mortgage but
  548. 21:42other than that no more debt now to what
  549. 21:44i would consider the funnest of the
  550. 21:46categories your quality of life
  551. 21:50how do you want to be living your life
  552. 21:53your home your geographic location
  553. 21:57the
  554. 21:58things that you do your hobbies your
  555. 22:00travel
  556. 22:02all of it would be included in your
  557. 22:03quality of life category
  558. 22:05so here's my vision for my quality of
  559. 22:07life category
  560. 22:09i want to explore the world and have
  561. 22:11life experiences that allow me the
  562. 22:13freedom to be able to do what i want
  563. 22:15where i want and when i want
  564. 22:18my home is a haven of tranquility and
  565. 22:22comfort
  566. 22:24my purpose or my why is having an
  567. 22:27amazing quality of life allows me to
  568. 22:29achieve the blissful feeling of thriving
  569. 22:32in all 12 categories of my life with the
  570. 22:35ability to share it with those i care
  571. 22:37the most about in my life so we made it
  572. 22:40to your life vision
  573. 22:42so your life vision is about taking the
  574. 22:46visions for each of the other 11
  575. 22:48categories
  576. 22:50and finding the common thread the common
  577. 22:53theme that really then builds your north
  578. 22:57star
  579. 22:58what is that guiding principle for you
  580. 23:01that connects all of it
  581. 23:03so here is my premise for my life vision
  582. 23:08i am capable of achieving my very best
  583. 23:11life but doing so requires a commitment
  584. 23:14to push past mild fears of failure and
  585. 23:18of rejection
  586. 23:20my vision for my life is i will have an
  587. 23:23extraordinary life
  588. 23:25functioning at a very high level in
  589. 23:27every important area of my life
  590. 23:31and then my purpose or my why for my
  591. 23:33life vision
  592. 23:35is to continuously strive to become the
  593. 23:37very best version of myself
  594. 23:40living life with intention each and
  595. 23:42every day in my quest to make a massive
  596. 23:45impact in my own life and the lives of
