0:55with this case Leticia stouk is the last
0:57person to see her stepson 11 year old
0:59Gannon stouk alive she reported him as a
1:01runaway on January 27 2020 after weeks
1:04of searching for Ganon his remains were
1:06eventually found in Pace Florida Leticia
1:08made several different reports to
1:09authorities as to what happened to Ganon
1:11including kidnapping a bike accident him
1:13running away ultimately 13 formal
1:15charges would be made against Leticia
1:17including murder in the first degree of
1:19a victim Under 12 by a person of trust
1:21first degree murder child abuse
1:23resulting in death tampering with the
1:25deceased human body tampering with
1:27physical evidence and eight counts of
1:28violence this is the full interrogation
1:30of Leticia Stout conducted by agent
1:33Jonathan gruesing of the FBI on March
1:352nd 2020.

2:32um for uh Canon stops a warrant was
2:36issued out of Colorado yeah but no
2:38someone could have just called me maybe
2:40we didn't have that was a big thing now
2:42would have called me or whoever yeah and
2:44apologize for that
2:46um
2:47because of the nature of the warrant it
2:49being a murder warrant there's there's
2:51and that's what I'd like to talk with
2:53you about today that's why we're not
2:54having a cast of thousands here and
2:56whatever because we would like to get to
2:57the bottom of what happened there
3:00um I know that a lot of things have gone
3:02on with your life a little bit of how
3:04this turns out okay but because you were
3:08arrested you're not free to leave I need
3:09you to sign of advice to rights before
3:11we can talk
3:12no I mean so I'm getting charged with
3:15right now
3:17so you were charged in uh judge in
3:20Colorado Springs signed off so the way
3:22this case worked was El Paso County got
3:25the first the original case they didn't
3:27have enough manpower to work in okay so
3:30they called the FBI
3:32um I'm part of the
3:34for the for the FBI on an extension of
3:37the profiling unit and I came in and
3:39assisted and I've been helping for about
3:42the last three weeks okay so our
3:44evidence Response Team you've probably
3:46seen that on the news has been doing
3:47some searches Etc and then other FBI
3:50agents have been writing warrants
3:52so a lot of warrants have been written
3:54we've gone through the court El Paso
3:56Sheriff's Office and FBI have worked
3:58together and we found enough you call a
4:02probable cause
4:03for a warrant to be issued so that's why
4:06you're here today okay I weren't for
4:07what now it was for the murder
4:10stop so the internet Market
4:13that's what the evidence shows and I'm
4:16happy to share with you evidence but we
4:18can't have a conversation unless you're
4:19advised of your rights okay what am I
4:21right

5:16had already like had an attorney but all

5:31attorney talking to them I wasn't
5:33allowed that after I asked that's not

5:39the FBI that you would do that without a
5:41family to protect but I'm not going to
5:43violate anything I don't mind doing that
5:44at all
5:46um but any pulling I would like to call
5:48my two years I said like is that okay

6:25I was thinking of a lot of things to say
6:27to you today because I've been helping
6:30I've been involved
6:32um I've unfortunately worked a lot of
6:34missing kids cases that's why they
6:37called me to do this okay a lot of time
6:39with Mark who was the dad Dylan who
6:41actually was in Colorado Springs with
6:43mom went to go see Dad this was in
6:46November of 2012
6:47right and then he disappeared
6:50it's a lot like what happened here
6:53what I think has happened with Mark is
6:56uh Prince and Mark wouldn't let him go
7:00and I think Mark got upset I think Dylan
7:03did some things that irritated Mark I
7:05think there was just a punch in the face
7:06that sort of thing and I think things
7:08went downhill from there well and I'm
7:11not I'm not saying I can help you
7:14because what you're charging me with is
7:16not or whoever is not the case
7:19yannon is alive okay and I can help you
7:22okay so but see here's the problem when
7:25I reach out to people about getting help
7:28I said hey I need someone who's going to
7:31help me to help you guys I couldn't get
7:33that from anyone
7:35at all we're happy to help you okay so I
7:38understand you might say you have like
7:40whatever evidence that you might say you
7:42have but that's not a case it did not
7:45hurt my child okay
7:47need more assistance besides just FBI
7:49you're probably going to need some DEA
7:51probably a lot of help I'm happy to get
7:54whatever how do you know but I can't
7:56help you and with people willing to help
7:59me and I did offer every opportunity to
8:01sit down and talk with not only my
8:03husband but with Landon to try to come
8:06up with the best thing to do it
8:09I really did
8:10and I've been begging every single day
8:13please please please don't say this okay
8:16you I know your expert in your field
8:18okay I know you may say you have
8:20whatever evidence you have but it's just
8:23not true okay
8:25it's not it's not true that gannon's
8:27dead I'm not gonna sit here and say 100
8:30I just told you that there's really
8:32things that would have occurred that I
8:35can help you guys to know that and it
8:38leads back to some things just being in
8:40the wrong place at their own time okay
8:42that's that's the truth
8:45the very truth and every day that went
8:47by
8:49to do nothing but not only protect
8:51myself but protect my family in this
8:53protect other people in this and it's
8:56just
8:58that's just what it's been
9:00I think our biggest problem is what
9:02happened at the house then at the house
9:04yes well there's nothing that would have
9:07happened at the house that has anything
9:09to do with what what I'm talking about
9:11at all
9:13that has nothing to do with anything
9:15because you guys have like clearly put
9:19out this information about and not
9:21coming home and then this and that and
9:24the other and I get like I said you're
9:25experts I get people with forensic
9:28circles I understand
9:29but it's just not the truth
9:34it's just not the truth
9:38and until I know that I
9:40from some people other than someone just
9:43having me in a room
9:44you got to get help to do uh I gotta get
9:46help to you everyone what they need
9:48because I'm gonna need my mom protected
9:51okay I'm gonna eat my brother the sister
9:53protected and most importantly I mean
9:55highly protected and on that same note
9:57I'm also going to need other people in
9:59Colorado

10:07if it involves finding an 11 year old
10:10then you can and it means that we can
10:12have new identities it does
10:15yeah I've had to do that before or we
10:18call it unemployment but we can do it

10:24who else would you trust

10:37would have hurt harmed murdered done

10:54even my family is in wrong place in our
10:55time even Elena even hardly okay with
10:58all of us in the wrong place at the

11:02and I just swear to you on that

11:07but I got it just like do you have trust
11:09issues let me tell you where I am
11:11because when with the FBI where when a
11:14child goes missing if they're under age
11:16then we can get involved and it's it can
11:19be even a kidnapping so if if Gannon has
11:22moved from one point to another without
11:24his you know will then it's a child
11:27kidnapping right and so that's what
11:29we're working this as and with me as a
11:31federal employee uh with me working a
11:33federal case because right now it's
11:35filed with the district attorney that
11:37the U.S attorney could file at as well
11:39you think that makes sense what do you
11:40mean the U.S attorney is the federal
11:42okay prosecutors right now it's on the
11:45state
11:46when you're talking to me uh we are
11:49recording this for your integrity in
11:51mind but if you'd rather not say
11:53something I mean if I would rather you
11:56just say I don't want to answer it
11:58instead of telling me something that's
11:59not true okay because there's something
12:01called false statements which is a
12:03thousand it's U.S code 1001 to where if
12:05you lie to us during an investigation
12:07that can be a year present time right so
12:09that's why I said on this last one if
12:12you want to not answer a question I'm
12:13not going to push you okay okay so so
12:16what these people you know taking Gannon
12:19or whatever else if it's not true
12:21just say I'd rather not answer that okay
12:24because we're different than your local
12:25detectives and whatever else it's not a
12:27felony to lie to them okay okay so
12:31my goal though is to find Dana right and
12:37if you need protection if there truly is
12:39someone out there we can provide that
12:41does not happen though I will need you
12:44to explain what happened from that night
12:46which night the night that he
12:49disappeared
12:51because I've read I've looked at all the
12:53news stories I've uh we have been
12:56listening to your phone for the last
12:58month it probably doesn't surprise you
13:00for listening to other people's phones
13:01as well trying to find this kid and we
13:04know from the internet whatever else
13:06there's a lot of stories out there
13:08so if someone truly took Ganon though
13:11we need to know the real story because
13:13you put out quite a different quite a
13:15few different stories
13:18to you well we've heard a lot of the
13:20stories to out Albert you mean like
13:23talking to him oh okay so let me just
13:25let me just explain that to you and you
13:27might think that's like super like I'm
13:30not going to judge you here whatever to
13:32him was Ice the reason I already knew
13:34someone was listening to him but because
13:37of him not ever like being like
13:40supportive and I tried originally to
13:42talk to him when he first got there that
13:45was the only reason I said those things
13:47to him was just because I was out of
13:49anger and out of like her and not being
13:52able to have like support it was nothing
13:54to do with like
13:56like I'm sitting here going to tell you
13:57the decent place that was just anger
14:00stupidity to do and I already knew like
14:03I even if you heard it you heard me say
14:05a lot of times I know people are
14:06listening because I know at the same
14:08time that someone called every time I
14:11could hear people I knew that so me
14:13saying those things to him was just me
14:16what what is the word you want to call
14:18it healthy insurance or whatever you
14:20want to call it just because that was I
14:23was I was hurt by him not wanting to
14:26work together to figure this out because
14:28I did have like originally initials
14:30different thoughts on certain things and
14:32that was me trying to like
14:34basically read him and try to figure the
14:37situations out so I understand that you
14:38may have heard those or whatever you may
14:40have heard and that's okay because that
14:42totally was not
14:43it that was not me trying to be
14:47not stupid to him because I have a
14:48question for you in regards to that and
14:50do were you
14:52of sound mind I mean did you have are
14:56you undergoing any treatment for anxiety
14:58or any
15:00depression or anything like that right
15:01now I mean like you mean like I don't I
15:05mean I've had anxiety since I was like
15:08because
15:12um undergoing like any kind of special
15:13treatment or you know like sometimes I
15:17might have to take like a Lorazepam or
15:20something right but um I didn't see any
15:22like counselors or like anything for any
15:26kind of like depression or and then plus
15:28two like right now well it's certainly
15:31I'm sure if you already got no great
15:33records I Mark I'm eight weeks pregnant
15:35so I can't take any kind of okay like uh
15:39I I mean I wish I could because then it
15:42would help a lot with the anxiety but
15:45thank you
15:46yeah okay so you were of sound mind when
15:49you were talking to Al you were just you
15:51were upset with him and upset with the
15:53situation of him not being by your side
15:55through this whole thing right and but
15:57then at the same time like I have to sit
15:59back and think that you know in a
16:01person's brain you don't you hear a
16:03hundred different things you do get

16:10I just wanted him to know because he
16:12knows like I've been I've been taking
16:14care of our kids like for so long while
16:17he was gone
16:19I'm not hearing that she didn't one of
16:21them I just they had a lot of different
16:23separate situations going on that I've
16:25always taking care of the kids and so
16:27there's been times I've protected them
16:29from so many people yeah you basically
16:32had to raise them on your own because he
16:33was gone a lot well he was gonna lie and
16:35mom was doing whatever she was doing you
16:37know so with that like I've had to step
16:40in and protect them a lot so many times
16:43what kind of dad would you say Al was to
16:46Gannon or is together oh he's a good dad
16:48like I mean as far as like being like
16:52there for him and like you know not
16:55gonna stay at night
16:56if he says Hey I want to go do something
16:58Albert works a lot so he's tired and his
17:00hours are like kind of you know up in
17:03the air here and there but for the most
17:05part he like is always trying to make
17:08sure he put you know like the kids
17:10military first and always will be and
17:12that's the mindset and then did you go
17:14into the marriage knowing that okay
17:16first well I grew up like knowing that
17:19my stepdad was here actually that's why
17:22I was looking at that guy's name but my
17:24stepdad was here growing up in the air
17:26force base so I lived on like a lot of
17:28Air Force faces and
17:30um like I maybe didn't understand it
17:33from
17:34parent perspective I mean I'm sorry stop
17:37she was like perspective like my mom but
17:40I did understand it from like like a
17:41child perspective but the thing about it
17:43was
17:45it wasn't too Wade or anything like that
17:47it was mostly like work through the
17:49night type thing so it was like we were
17:52blessed in that way of not having to

17:56have to see him go overseas or something
17:58like that right and you guys have been
18:01married six years five years five years
18:04and he came to the marriage with Harlan
18:07right and then Elena's the youngest
18:10great
18:13um and then we had like
18:15maybe I think four or five once you like
18:19kind of military miscarriages because
18:21you always try to like have kids and I
18:24don't know like something must have
18:25happened like when I get to a certain
18:27week so we would have been a lot more
18:29kids but but yeah do you think I was
18:32faithful to you was he cheating on you
18:35um I don't like I never we never had
18:37like any conversations until like of
18:39course mad like recently but like prior
18:42to that we never had like uh
18:45um
18:46like buses or it might be something like
18:48Albert the type of person he got off
18:49work he just like to come home he wasn't
18:51like
18:52oh I'm gonna go do this with people he
18:55just wasn't that type of person and that
18:57was that was a good part because it
18:59wasn't you know like not saying you
19:01can't like I know sure you might say if
19:02a football game's on you might want to
19:03go OverWatch you know which one of your
19:05friends right usually for the most part
19:07we'd do it like do it together or go
19:10over there and do something together but
19:12it was never really like having her own
19:14people that we did things
19:16but we never like had issues of anything
19:19like that most of the time for the
19:21issues that we always had was I never
19:23wanted the kids to ever come back here a
19:26lot of times during like their breaks
19:28and leave again
19:30arguments about it but he would always
19:33say well I have to I'm obligated
19:35to do these things
19:38so you don't think he was cheating on
19:40you prior to this whole thing going on
19:42again
19:48no the I mean there's been times in the
19:50past where I saw that he's talked to
19:52other women you know like on messages
19:54and things like that but then he's also
19:56like you got to have my phone in the
19:58past he would have thought that he's
20:00always apologized for you know like
20:02those things like saying what are you
20:05guys considering divorce or no you and
20:07Albert I didn't know anything about any
20:09kind of divorce like I know like we used
20:11to turn Loosely you know because there
20:13was a lot of stress having to deal with
20:17um like the situation where Brandon
20:19there was a lot of stress because like
20:22we fought so hard in so long to get kids
20:25so like I see you know uh situation so
20:29it was very hard to like
20:32you've read someone and they're so
20:34emotionally like upset about the kids
20:36not being with us and we not being able
20:38to protect them that it was kind of hard
20:40it took a lot you know told throughout
20:43that time frame of like Alaska I'm sure
20:46you know about the time and things like
20:48that so during that time in Alaska and
20:50stuff it was very hard to to like have
20:53to see him be so upset from so many
20:55miles away and you know we get called
20:57kids didn't have a place to stay we get
21:00calls that there was guns in the back of
21:02their car and people were being arrested
21:04and so that took its toll in the terms
21:07of like figure we should not have to
21:10like go through these things but then
21:12once like we got to Colorado

21:18place and then it was like kind of first
21:20it was like kind of hard because you
21:22you've been you know like back and forth
21:24until last year so long because you know
21:26if you know the background I had the
21:27kids here for their school years for
21:30getting Elena so it was Elena's was a
21:32first grade year fourth grade year yeah
21:34so they would have went to school here
21:36on Myrtle Beach so I had them here with
21:39this thing
21:40instead of still with that it was both
21:42being part going back and forth
21:44traveling on tolerate right like that so
21:47that would have been the most you know
21:49difficult time like so when I got we got
21:50to Colorado it was just like okay we're
21:53here
21:53you know we are doing things together
21:56and we've done stupid things to each
21:58other like I don't know
22:02but like the things that we could do to
22:03be like okay we'll forget all this
22:05if you do this
22:07this way but it's a stupid silly stuff
22:09you know nothing that we would have been
22:11so it seems like you guys had a pretty
22:13solid marriage then I mean
22:16which is why I was so upset about not
22:20being like supportive because I know
22:23that like when I tell you we went we get
22:26money spending things to have attorney
22:28fees
22:29for you know like in custody is it
22:32Garner Lido or overlay whatever it is a
22:34gal like we spent so much money and
22:37doing all those things and like working
22:38together to do all that and it was so
22:42I guess like upsetting that he wasn't so
22:44I did kind of finger fire out stupid
22:47stuff because I was so pissed and really
22:50wanting to like talk with him or Landon
22:54like together as Elijah's like just
22:56explain like hey this is what I think we
22:58can do in this situation so it was just
23:01me trying to get him to talk to me like
23:03privately I already knew you guys were
23:06you're listening or whether you've
23:08already knew that you know yeah
23:11yeah he Al was just singularly focused
23:15on what happened again right
23:18besides this situation have you ever
23:21been around a parent who a child goes
23:24missing before and not returned home
23:29with a family
23:31it was a serial killer case I had in
23:332006 and the guy was picking off
23:35daughters
23:36were you picking them off yes in Denver
23:39it was actually an informant of ours
23:41which was not our best day okay but he
23:43was going around killing these girls and
23:45then they were they were high risk girls
23:47so they were working you know on the
23:49street some or using drugs or whatever
23:51but
23:52some of these girls we haven't returned
23:54them home and if you're a parent of a
23:56missing kid versus even a deceased kid
23:58it's a lot different because you're
24:01looking at every corner you're looking
24:03to say is that my daughter or my son
24:05even if you think their dad and your
24:08mind goes to the worst but you even even
24:11though we've convicted this killer for
24:13killing these girls because he confessed
24:15to them and whatever else we still have
24:18to have the girls to bring home right
24:20and so there's no closure
24:22and I'm seeing owl from a distance going
24:25through that because I still deal with
24:28dads 14 years later who are looking for
24:31their daughters they had bus stops and
24:33laws and whatever so and see that's the
24:35hard part is like people were like you
24:36know
24:37being upset and like I haven't had the
24:40opportunity to like even just sit down
24:42and be like okay look this is I've given
24:46my life to take care of these children I
24:48I have they should not
24:51you know that I I've done that it's so
24:55hard because inside that I don't get to
24:57express that emotion to have that you
25:00know to say to anyone or anything like
25:03that and that's
25:04the most difficult part because I've had
25:07to just be like how can I how can I make
25:10the situation back you know like I mean
25:13come on third let's be honest I'm John
25:15John yeah I mean like Albert was talking
25:18Batman again whether he made him say
25:20this or not I mean literally woke up on
25:22Christmas I always make it about the
25:24kids and Christmas because they don't
25:25get to spend Christmas with us
25:26so like if they went home for the
25:28holidays you know they might leave you
25:30know the school gets out we might not
25:31see them until you know January so I I
25:35always spent my time trying to make sure
25:36every time I didn't believe in certain
25:38holidays I believe Halloween but to make
25:40sure every hot every holiday was like
25:42revolved around the situation so
25:45for if you look at the situation I went
25:49you know we have every house and cars
25:52and we have whatever I work my entire
25:54life in education I got a doctor's
25:57degree education so to me it's like
26:00everything I work so hard for everything
26:03Albert I mean 16 years in military or
26:06you know service and things like that no
26:09matter how much we had did on that took
26:12us everything together
26:13and that was where we were at in our
26:16safe spot so for a person who can you
26:20know take care of everyone and do
26:22everything for everyone and then just
26:25cannot do it for a split second that's
26:28the hardest part you know and knowing
26:31that this is an image getting fed on me
26:34all these horrible things all these
26:36things that are just not true well
26:38that's what we'd like to get to today
26:39and that's yeah so I'd like to talk
26:43about the split second but first let's
26:45go to Ganon because what we do is called
26:47victimology have you heard of that
26:48before so victimology as we find out as
26:52much as we can about Gannon the victim
26:54and even if he's safe somewhere even if
26:57he's not knowing more about him
26:59especially since you were the last
27:00person with him uh helps us to try to
27:04figure out
27:05like say we don't have a suspect
27:07somebody's killed but we have nothing
27:09then we will look at that person to see
27:12what Drew
27:13that that homicide that homicide there
27:15why did those two people interact at
27:18that time and then we'll also do things
27:20like uh
27:21it's uh the the subject the situation
27:24and the vocation so something happens
27:27ganon's here
27:29you have
27:30someone or something that did informed
27:33and then you have quite a location
27:35so we have those three things and you
27:37know we've looked through your house and
27:40you know done the CSI stuff and looked
27:42at all that you know body fluids all
27:44over the house and garage and whatever
27:45else so that's all been found
27:48um I'm curious to see your challenges of
27:52Gannon uh here when you had to be a
27:55parent and then there challenges
27:58successes whatever else what special
28:00attention did he need what can you tell
28:01me about him well here it was he was
28:04younger you know
28:06um to fourth grade to get started I'm
28:09sure a little bit hitting towards you
28:10know like 6 30. so like here he was more
28:13so
28:15um let's see
28:17like at that time a situation here okay
28:20so prior to that we never got to see him
28:23it's a like every other weekend for a
28:24long time all right so then when
28:28um Albert we finally pay all the money
28:29whatever
28:31um
28:32Albert had to choose between getting out
28:35excuse me getting out of um
28:38sorry getting out of the military or the
28:41kids in a way kind of because
28:43mom wasn't given any or whatever
28:46um so then that's when we step in say
28:48we're gonna keep them here in our home
28:50here and I'll stay here with them and
28:53then you know we'll go from there right
28:55so during that time he also didn't get
28:57to see his mom Asia didn't have a place
28:59to live
29:01these she was also she had had a baby
29:03but then mainly to her not to not gonna
29:07trash her I'm gonna say she was neither
29:09do someone who didn't
29:10who didn't take care who wouldn't take
29:12care of them like they should okay with

29:16with Mom not having that Foundation
29:19support
29:22and when she did come to the house this
29:24time she came that she was like you know
29:29she just that wasn't in a good place so
29:31I let her stay at her home and Gannon
29:34had a tough time every time because in
29:36his mind he just wanted it to be like a
29:38step sister being a step sister
29:43you mean Harley no you know Landon's
29:46yeah no no
29:49eat a migraine okay so he wanted it to
29:53be like Mike starter which was
29:55they go to Mom and Dad's house for a
29:58week
30:00that was gannon's mindset when he was
30:02here
30:03grandparents amazing people which is
30:06Landon's family
30:09um amazing people Grandma I think Army
30:10called Banana Nana and Poppy great
30:14people they would always come get them
30:15all the kids and things like that so
30:16that I'd have time to like you know do
30:18whatever I needed to do or if I wanted
30:20to go shopping or go hang out with
30:22people whatever so we had all that you
30:24know going on here these missing piece
30:26was you know overhead
30:29would do his school work very smart I
30:32think he might always he was in fourth
30:33grade I'm pretty sure
30:35so made always here didn't have like a
30:38issue at all what was he like when he
30:40got home from school because Albert's
30:42out you're having to take care of him
30:44well to be honest with you I got him
30:46from after school which was about like
30:48five five thirtyish so by the time we
30:50did homework
30:52um and all those things it was almost
30:54time to like get ready for bed are you
30:56doing his homework with him is he doing
30:57it on his own see the difference between
30:59schools and I'm not trying to talk about
31:00Colorado if you're from Colorado I've
31:02seen Colorado and South County Schools
31:04but I still need a lot more about
31:05history and those type of things for
31:08Colorado probably thought it really
31:09wasn't relevant we want books on reading
31:11and math and things like that so he had
31:13a he did struggle with history so we had
31:15to sit at the table a lot of times and
31:17like really work on like
31:19he was a mathematics he's so like like
31:22you said again it's just like I said he
31:24is so mathematically inclined you know
31:26like an engineer Type green so when it
31:28came to anything history and reading
31:30science stuff unless it was something he
31:32liked David like so we spent hours
31:33sometimes you know working on those
31:35things
31:36but with knowing the curriculum it was
31:38easy for me because I already knew
31:40myself
31:41and so by the time we did that it was
31:43time for him to go to bed you know yeah
31:50well when we get to Colorado of course I
31:53start them in school which would have
31:55been August okay so I thought them in
31:59school it was a big help because Gannon
32:02is at this point a little bit more
32:03mature he knows he's stay with us
32:05Christy I took him Alaska at home
32:06schooling before we got to Colorado I
32:08homeschooled him for the two months and
32:10then we transitioned in the car actually
32:12it wasn't August and started coach
32:13history it was about January that we got
32:15here because I homeschooled in November
32:16December not this past time but
32:20so January 2019. yeah so I homeschooled
32:24in 2018
32:25November uh Christmas time because Mom
32:29couldn't get them in for whatever reason
32:31then we came on to um but I think she
32:33ended up digging them and she flew them
32:35back to Colorado for a week or something
32:37subscribed for a week maybe flew them
32:38back to Colorado he said January 2019 we
32:41would have started school in Colorado
32:42okay all right so get him in school
32:45which Colorado I mean I think it was
32:48like May middle may they would go to
32:50school in Colorado so February okay so
32:54it was pretty simple in the terms of we
32:56would do like you know uh he never don't
32:59work for some reason
33:02um so it was always Albert would be like
33:03making my labs or even make a go do all
33:06these things and then you know
33:09yeah this afternoon we'll go to summer
33:11so what time does he normally get home
33:12from school well around that time he
33:14went to another school business new
33:16school wasn't built okay so it would
33:17have been like 3 45 4 o'clock maybe just
33:20because it hadn't come from a compound
33:22and then come in let's see
33:26okay
33:27yeah so they came back in August so we
33:29went on again with us on a big Cruise in
33:31the summer because he wanted to he
33:32didn't want to go home
33:34right away he wanted we gave him a
33:36choice you want to go to family careers
33:37or you want to go you know to your mom's
33:40house and he said you want to go to her
33:41school I wanted to make famous Korean
33:43communicated and I forgot a couple of
33:44questions
33:45me him Harley and Howard those are the
33:49four of us because Lena didn't go so we
33:52all went on the family cruise and had a
33:54great time whatever and then of course
33:56they come here for the summer and then
33:58they get ready to come back for fall so
34:00they come back for fall and at this
34:01point in time I was I was working Albert
34:04was doing like one of those shifts like
34:07to eat you had your teaching job and
34:09yeah three two three two he was like
34:11working and all these things okay well
34:15um Harley was working at the end
34:17starting Pikes Peak College so we were
34:20all pretty busy like throughout the day
34:22and then in the evening it was kind of
34:25like come in grab this grab this but
34:27then I was coaching so everybody
34:30so as I was at your school at the high
34:33school
34:34so as I was coaching softball you know
34:37um I probably didn't get home sometimes
34:39until like
34:415 30 maybe sometimes later just
34:43depending on if it was a game a practice
34:45or something like that so honestly most
34:48of the a lot of the help had to come
34:50from either Harley doing a lot of it if
34:52Albert was working or Gannon had to
34:55independently like you know do a lot of
34:57the Consultants how did he get home
34:59which they were teaching at this point
35:00time they were in the new school right
35:02so the new school because we lived 1.5
35:04miles out the new school allowed him to
35:07take the books if not they had the rest
35:10of the way they had to walk okay
35:13um so
35:15um coaching was over you know probably
35:17around it's weird because they do
35:19softball it's free I'm not spraying they
35:21do a holiday instead of spring so
35:23coaching was over maybe around like
35:24October I remember you know and started
35:27having a hard time because he was
35:28wanting to go home for Thanksgiving or
35:31and when I tell Uganda he loves Disney
35:33Anna like that's his
35:35that's his if he was up to him he would
35:37just he'll just I'll be at Nana times
35:39all the time because he loves Nina
35:41um so he like wanted to go because he
35:45has two little boy cousins if you know
35:47again and my four sisters and he doesn't
35:49have any brothers so he in his way those
35:53two little boys are hit like his little
35:54brothers so if he goes to Nana's house
35:56you know he can spend a lot of time with
35:59his little cousins
36:02and then they can all just hang out and
36:05do those things but he didn't get to go
36:06for Thanksgiving Albert had to work so
36:09we kind of I don't really cook we've
36:11always like eating out oh no okay so I
36:14just said Hey listen you know we'll go
36:17out to dinner we did all this
36:18Thanksgiving tried to make it up the
36:19best that I could get because I'm not
36:21I'm not his mom but
36:24he wanted to be there with with the
36:27family you know because it's the
36:29holidays it used to and then of course
36:32Christmas came around and then the same
36:34thing kind of happened at Christmas but
36:35then we worked it out and I we figured
36:37out a plan to get him home for Christmas
36:39so then
36:42yeah because mom never had it the house
36:45house so Albert said it's okay if they
36:49go and then they just have to get Nana's
36:51house
36:52and that was our biggest worries like
36:55um have you ever been here before today
36:57okay okay so like if you like look on
37:00the Boulevard and things like that
37:01there's a lot of like hotels like not
37:04the best places and that was where they
37:05were staying at home for me you know
37:07when they would come and so that was why
37:08there were like no happy City the house
37:10yeah
37:12so then is again I'm responsible for
37:15taking his own he has ADHD medicine
37:17right does he do that on his own do you
37:20help him with that
37:21um most of the time like how this how it
37:23worked in I got all lunch boxes ready
37:25set him on he's been in the house so the
37:27stove that's in the corner inside the
37:29refrigerator we would say you know the
37:32lunch boxes out snacks and little pig
37:34can I usually always pick before Elena
37:36because he just knew that he could get
37:37it if he beat her up he could pick the
37:39snack seal on it you know so he would
37:41pick the snacks that he wanted and I
37:43would lay his if Albert wasn't getting
37:46him up I believe his 88 she had some
37:48just Advanced 20 milligrams highly
37:51Advanced on accounting is it just tablet
37:54yeah okay yeah so I would lay it on the
37:57counter and he would know you know come
37:59in and take it how does he take it is
38:01with water yeah yeah he doesn't even use
38:03more half the time
38:17that was the
38:20that was the line any of the other kids
38:21on medication
38:26what about you or how I don't know
38:29anything other than what I told you
38:30about
38:32um a little rather fan but see the thing
38:34about little brother Pam was they might
38:35give it to me and I might not get it
38:36again
38:38again
38:39meaning 30 tablets but it was only for
38:41like panic attacks or things like that
38:43as far as Albert I know he has the gout
38:46so I know he I don't I don't even know
38:48what it's called I'm sure it's nothing
38:49bad but nothing that he could again and
38:52could mix up medications both and
38:54whatever in the morning take somebody
38:55else's meds or anything not not that I'm
38:58worried now there's stuff in the counter
38:59from like probably old stuff or like
39:03like uh Carly had her wisdom teeth taken
39:05out I think probably but I'm pretty sure
39:07he might have been trying to get rid of
39:09this if I'm not sure
39:10um but none of us have like any like uh
39:15hardcore drugs or anything like that
39:18that's why I'm asking you that because
39:20of the bath salts deal that he came up
39:22with you know that was on the hype day
39:23so the bath salt scene was totally
39:26because
39:27because they did this drug class at
39:28school which is the same class that um
39:32students or these people came in and
39:34they dressed up in like a dress they
39:37were professionals they are little first
39:40they dress in their outfits and all
39:42those things and they let the kids like
39:45pretend they were working on like uh
39:48what do we call those things you know
39:50like as a third one CPR and during that
39:52time frame they went over all these
39:54different drugs so they talked about
39:56what what your life is on crack talked
39:59about doing cocaine like all these like
40:01it was very
40:02very like in-depth for fifth grade but
40:05at the same time you guys think it was
40:07probably a good thing to to
40:10understand on telling you about this or
40:12did you find out from a teacher or how
40:14did you find out they had this in-depth
40:16conversation well I knew because they
40:17did at our school first
40:21it was something once they found out
40:23they did our school and they felt like
40:24office and pictures they know that other
40:26teachers wanted to know about it so when
40:29the other teachers want to know about it
40:30they you know went around different
40:32schools and they signed
40:33for I think Albert signed a permission
40:35slip or maybe sent an email to the
40:37teacher or whatever that it was okay for
40:39him to do
40:40so it was again fascinated with the bath
40:43salt thing or how what how did that
40:44conversation happen because I know that
40:46seemed to be important
40:48you know during the hike and afterwards
40:50well he was like okay so
40:54Mike apparently
40:57could deliver these land pages and we
41:00never knew what they were maybe we were
41:01told me we were told whatever we don't
41:03know but Albert would always talk to um
41:06Gannon about any kind of people had
41:08anything to do with like you know drugs
41:10and things of that sort he would always
41:12say like these are bad people if you see
41:15anything like this this is a bad thing
41:17so Dan already had like some sort of uh
41:20vase Foundation about it you know and
41:25because he had like like that sort of
41:27Base Foundation about it he always had
41:31like uh questions because I think if I
41:34was supposed like right and that was
41:42his baby nose are going to be
41:45a video because baby never gonna be okay
41:46and that was like his main concerns and
41:48nasty
41:49aspects was wanting to know these things
41:51because he he was just curious of how
41:56this house so were you guys on the hike
41:57when he brought it up or whatever he had
41:59already brought it up prior to the hike
42:01okay he had already said something when
42:03he came home after this was it a concern
42:07for you tell me what he said and how
42:09your conversation I don't honestly sir I
42:11don't remember I just remember he was
42:12telling us about
42:13the different things that they were
42:15talking
42:16and then I was like oh did you guys do
42:18this and they would be like yeah then I
42:19was like oh did this so it was kind of
42:21like mimic the same way so we did talk
42:23about that a lot was that before hype
42:25you said yeah I literally up to it
42:28before the hike there was a lot of talk
42:29about it you know for a little bit and
42:31then of course
42:33um

42:45I didn't think anything about him
42:47wanting to try any of it or to
42:51um
42:52do anything with it um I know that he
42:55said something about it and I gave him a
42:58bath bomb
42:59when he said something what he said he
43:01just asked me about in general about if
43:04we had bad thoughts because to be honest
43:06with you he had already pooped tummy
43:07time
43:08so he said that after he pooped on the
43:11height he pooped a couple of times on
43:13time yeah like honestly because I don't
43:15mean like
43:23was just I think you just wanted to like
43:26relax because he took two you know
43:28taking too fast
43:30so I mean yeah
43:32I don't want to be weird but are you
43:34giving me bads is he taking it no no
43:36goes by himself and and just
43:40he's very like helpful independent like
43:43I've taught him so many independent
43:45skills where he can go in there and just
43:48forget to like bring his clothes up or
43:51right you know the simple things like
43:54that but
43:55that's right so he he takes two baths
43:58that night or one bath that night one
44:00the next morning or no so I think when
44:02we got home we took one me and Lena went
44:05to go get food
44:07and then I think he had to use the
44:08bathroom again
44:10um so he took another one I think when
44:11me and Lena got back and we would be
44:13taking a bath I don't really remember
44:14and then she took one
44:17somehow
44:19because I share a bathroom in the
44:21basement no no
44:23so
44:25no one the basement well he's not hardly
44:27okay
44:29so of course his bedroom never okay so
44:33the bear was downstairs but the bathroom
44:35remembers like
44:36or Harley driven with that that's right
44:38so where did he take the bath upstairs
44:40yeah so so the backflip stainers okay
44:44um usually what happens with the clothes
44:46that we kind of pooped in
44:48what do you mean does he throw them in
44:50the washer do you have to take care of
44:51it or I don't wash anyone's clothes but
44:54you know it does he take care of his own
44:56so well we get on him about if you want
44:58to earn technology time you know you
45:00have to go do your own clothes you have
45:02to capture ways around the house
45:05so that's why that's kind of like how it
45:07works it was everybody had their own I
45:10don't even do Albert's place
45:13I don't even
45:14you know that's a good 11 year old
45:16taking care of himself we're not
45:18necessarily taking care of well and just
45:20in that aspect right right he was he was
45:22so like uh
45:26like a boy in the terms of clean clothes
45:28like he could wear the same again he
45:31will he'll wear the same shirt like two
45:33days he had to be like go change it so
45:35what does an argument look like this
45:36game have you guys ever argued
45:38um like
45:39maybe like in Myrtle Beach you know uh
45:42we would have been like we had we're so
45:44much alike so we are so much like in
45:46terms of we both have stomach problems
45:48really really bad
45:49um we both have like
45:51uh anxiety so like you know so to speak
45:54you know and uh he's so like he's so
45:58like kind and like uh
46:02kind-hearted to and then the point of
46:04like we can get upset about something
46:06but then the next minute she'll be like
46:08I am he'll be like oh you know talk
46:11about something for you or we'll just
46:13say something or and he had
46:17tremendously increased the amount
46:20in Myrtle Beach I don't think I ever
46:22heard anything like um
46:25I love you or like you know like
46:28uh it might like
46:30holiday might come you know they just
46:32say oh just write something whatever but
46:34like since having him all the time it
46:38became more like I I was here I love you
46:40like be honest all the time you know and
46:44so I feel like it was on the holiday the
46:46Christmas before is that what you're
46:48saying so it disappeared see what now
46:50and you sat around the holiday he was
46:51saying I love you I'm saying like one
46:54yeah yeah once we started more and more
46:56having
46:57um then he and I became a lot closer
47:00because of just like wanting to have
47:04that connection with both the kids sure
47:07you had some arguments with them though
47:09did you ever have to discipline him or
47:11no well I never ever have never spanked
47:13any of the children ever because I just
47:15don't believe in spanking other people's
47:18kids so never had that now as far as
47:20like okay you are in trouble you're
47:22gonna do this yeah
47:25what's the biggest disagreement you had
47:27with Canada
47:29see the biggest disagreement
47:32I think
47:34probably because
47:36he doesn't
47:38and again he probably shouldn't have
47:39this on him as a kid but not like like
47:42seeing the light
47:49he was so like
47:55you know and
47:57if I said anything like well and I
48:00probably shouldn't have but I did I
48:02would be like well she quit doing this
48:04we could she could pay for it and I
48:06would always figure out a way but then
48:09it was like
48:10you know I'd say I wanted him to see
48:12that is this a certain incident incident
48:15do I know the biggest disagreement you
48:18had was this a certain time or no we
48:20never had like big like there was never
48:22any like a big all-out
48:26are you when you say disagree my clashes
48:28or like screaming shouting I'm a parent
48:31so I've had mine easiest agreements yeah
48:34like like that kind of
48:36never not like us so what's the most
48:38upset you've been
48:39where are we like or you've had to yell
48:42I had to yell at my kids I got you a
48:44teacher's fan so like where we've had to
48:46like fuss at each other over whether or
48:48not he did something if he did something
48:50that has to happen if you're a parent
48:52right right what you were saying I
48:54thought you were asking me like I'm more
48:56looking at this from gannon's point of
48:58view I'm not judging you no I thought
48:59you were asking me more of like you know
49:01like
49:09as far as you're yelling he's yelling
49:12that sort of thing
49:13um that has to have happened especially
49:15the step kids I mean yeah of course
49:18what time do you remember
49:22um how many times that I don't remember
49:25sometimes I tell you all around Albert
49:28like not being disciplined no Quinn
49:32Gannon was just doing something that's
49:33totally irrational and unreasonable I
49:35have a boy I know yeah they don't behave
49:38all the time right
49:39well what did Gannon I don't know of any
49:42like specifics I just knew that we would
49:44have you know like if it would have been
49:46something that wasn't in what our
49:48teachings were we would have of course
49:51like yeah so you never had to yell at
49:53him that you remember I said I just said
49:54I just said that to you I said I there
49:57have been plenty of times yeah but I
49:58mean a specific one
50:01I don't know a specific line I mean
50:03probably from Miami so I can tell you
50:05for me that's when my my son rolled a
50:07basketball underneath me I was going to
50:09go in for a layup and I almost
50:11twisted my ankle and broke my back at
50:12the same time oh goodness
50:15yeah am I sad I did it now yes but I
50:19couldn't help myself he was that was the
50:21stupid thing to do he was just seeing
50:23what if I roll the ball on her dad not
50:24that I even jumped that high yeah
50:27but yeah yeah that's all I couldn't help
50:31it I turned around yelled him I didn't
50:32hurt him or anything yeah but but with
50:35you being home with just scanning and
50:38sometimes it lands sometimes Harley and
50:40I'll be on the road every once in a
50:42while something had to go wrong I mean
50:44if you say go wrong with gap and you
50:46have to say and you have to set things
50:48right like oh yeah offended with me with
50:50the basketball oh yeah I'm curious as
50:53far as how Cannon would react if you
50:55have to really get on to him for
50:57something that he did that was stupid
50:58he's a boy yeah Jenna wouldn't like yell
51:01back Hannah would not like yell back and
51:04be like uh you know like
51:06confrontational
51:08so again it would not like
51:11he might say something smart how did he
51:13react under his breath do you have an
51:15incident you remember or no yeah you had
51:18to put your foot down and say again and
51:20that's not acceptable no like if I said
51:22that he pretty much listened to to what
51:25I said yeah it was like not I don't
51:28remember us him screaming back at me at
51:30any or just go in his room Slam in the
51:32door
51:34uh Slam in a door room TV
51:39that means I know
51:41north of me like saying something Albert
51:44might have been more of the if there was
51:46slamming doors or anything it could have
51:48been me like going backstand however you
51:50need to make sure he's not doing this
51:51and then
51:52you know it goes in there in that
51:54situation okay you know
51:57like Albert was teaching him how to use
51:59a
52:00a box cutter and like different things
52:02like that and there were times that I
52:04might have been like oh Albert I don't
52:06think you should have done this because
52:08he was acting weird in this way but that
52:11would have been early in the beginning
52:12before we started getting into my
52:13counseling
52:15once he started getting you know like
52:17that remind me the counseling what was
52:19that for do what now the counseling
52:21um so Albert said that he should get
52:23counseling uh through the military just
52:26for like all the Transitions and
52:31is to make sure that his uh mental like
52:33like well-being was fine and Albert said
52:37that anytime people you know of course
52:39counselors can't tell you
52:40you know like what was going on unless
52:42it was something you know pressing and
52:44of course Albert would always come out
52:46and say that so everything's fine and
52:48then Jana will come back and tell us
52:49what he talked about
52:50but as far as like
52:53set up that again I never come at you
52:55with a knife or something wasn't there
52:56an incident well that's what I was just
52:58telling you about there was when Albert
53:00was when I told you Albert was trying to
53:01teach him how to use a that's the box
53:03code yeah so he the again and had this
53:07thing about the knife and he was doing
53:09like this and whoever told you that it
53:12was coming at me that is not that's why
53:14I'm asking you so yeah I'm getting a
53:15real story here no no no no no no no no
53:17you've got stories from everywhere and
53:20you probably are not looking at me for
53:21mine but my but that is not what
53:23happened again it was in a upset which
53:26the video was shown to the counselor
53:29lady and Albert was so upset because he
53:31was like um you should have let me get
53:34the video or something like that but
53:35Dana was in more like a an upset rage
53:38because this was in the very beginning
53:40when he had to First transition yet to a
53:43yet another school was this fall no so
53:46this would have been I don't know if it
53:48had been fall but okay so fourth grade
53:49New School uh
53:53homeschool then they went to the first
53:55School in Colorado and then new school
53:57opened correct so somewhere between that
53:59time frame of again it was it was too
54:02much transitions for him that had
54:04nothing to do with him being at me or
54:06being that Albert or Landon or whatever
54:08it was too much transitions for him that
54:10he was so upset like you know like so
54:13where was he when he was doing this
54:14because he was wrong I feel like it was
54:17in the kitchen
54:18I don't really remember sir you asked me
54:20something that was that was a while ago
54:23I don't remember I mean were you
54:25threatened by Darren doing this because
54:26I make you nervous well I told Albert I
54:29said it I said have a mentality like in
54:32my mind I said it has a mentality of
54:34like he's gonna want to I said not hurt
54:37himself are not necess specifically hurt
54:40someone in general but I mean specific
54:42but in general and so like I was a
54:44little worried because I thought
54:48he has so much anger and aggression for
54:52what was going on because it it honestly
54:55was Albert hadn't even got there yet I
54:57feel like I feel like Albert had just
54:59either got to Colorado or hadn't got
55:02there yet right and so he had to go from
55:05you and his mom back to me and then
55:07Albert wasn't there and then it was
55:11okay like
55:14make new friends you know like all those
55:18things how did you handle it how did you
55:20calm them down
55:21she was typically always I'm specific
55:24s kind of thing how did you calm him
55:26down I don't I don't know if it was a
55:28knife he had been I was just saying it's
55:30like he had been using a box cutter so
55:32that's how he was teaching him okay so I
55:35remember I took his amiibos he loves
55:37amiibos
55:38and I took his amiibo and I just threw
55:41his his amiibo at the front yard
55:43and I told him I was like we're not yet
55:46the amiibo is gone we're never getting
55:48it again and I made him call his mom and
55:50so she I don't remember what we exactly
55:54but I know she was basically saying like
55:56you know you better listen she gets
55:58upset and sends me a message I send her
56:00a message back and we were both like mad
56:03at each other as an Indian landed and
56:05then it was kind of more like okay to
56:07come down but this was
56:10a year ago you know
56:13that was
56:14that was suggested that it was he needed
56:17that
56:18Outlet okay he needed that Council that
56:21helps us that's what I'm talking about
56:22with the victimology thing
56:28is that um
56:31Outlet to be able to say okay when I
56:36have anger and I have upset you see
56:38typically like I said Gannon doesn't get
56:40angry and just you know lash out or or
56:43say anything he doesn't he doesn't like
56:47or if he doesn't smart back to Albert
56:50it's usually a he's very literal you
56:53know say something in a minute
56:56right so that
56:59in your assessment of him there may I
57:02could probably count on one one hand the
57:04times that Ghana would have been uh
57:06aggressive like that right and not even
57:08to the point of regressive of like he
57:11actually acted upon it other than
57:13showing signs and I think once we got
57:15the counseling in place um
57:18he was able to have his friends now he
57:22knew he was in a place that
57:29it's like backwards because the camera's
57:32there but the window's there so the seat
57:34should be there anyway but um no I just
57:37didn't know because I thought I heard
57:38Parliament
57:39um so he never like really just
57:42excuse me
57:44had a hard time until the counseling and
57:47was accountable
57:48in play I seen
57:51leaps in the way that not only he acted
57:55but our relationship with each other
57:59um relationship with dealing with okay
58:02go do this
58:04um
58:04sir it's so hard because I'm sorry I'm
58:08old John it's so hard because
58:13if I get up in the morning and I I have
58:17Dana would even say you want me to take
58:19the dogs out so you can have 10 more
58:21minutes of sleep and he I convinced him

58:28you know and so because I didn't ever
58:30like my original name so I had him on
58:31board calling you a different name
58:33um so the helpfulness
58:37through not only just the counseling and
58:39then having that stability became
58:44so great for him and and that's the the
58:49piece that I really wish you knew like I
58:53know you sit here and say you've heard
58:54people say stuff or talk you know
58:57whatever I know you've you've spent your
58:59career going through people who you had
59:01to help and people who use no I'm not
59:04finish it or whatever but Canon
59:07benefited so much from the counselor I'm
59:10going in there that he was able to talk
59:12to us and that's when I started hearing
59:14words like okay
59:16and he would say Harley like they never
59:20really like he never really I think he
59:22would say it but like not that like
59:24situation of like oh I love you and like
59:26the affection and things
59:28began to uh I thought we were on the
59:31path for him really to see that
59:35the Lords well I don't just want to take
59:38you to buy this place for their mom but
59:39be more of a like a unknown figurative
59:42and that was where I felt like we were
59:45yeah so let's help him let's help in
59:48that situation so
59:50that kind of answers the bath salts
59:52thing he he really wasn't looking good
59:54he wasn't outright asking you I want to
59:56get high off of that sauce no no
59:59um I think that it was more of a
1:00:01situation with
1:00:04they were going to school in a school
1:00:07that had older kids and I think it was
1:00:10just more of us they heard these this is
1:00:12speculation I'm just telling you what my
1:00:15observation is based upon how I heard
1:00:17them talk and you know people talk to
1:00:19them they were just wanting to say like
1:00:22to fit in per se and it was just a
1:00:25situation where Vana would do whatever
1:00:35I was in the I just found out like you
1:00:38could I could tell Danny do you want to
1:00:40play your switch okay would you help me
1:00:41go do you guys
1:00:44in such a yes sir yes ma'am
1:00:48technology you could do it and I think
1:00:50that was hard going to school with kids
1:00:53that were a little older and come home
1:00:55on the bus they had the same you know
1:00:58you have somebody to do a little more
1:01:00than others and from Faith this is based
1:01:03upon my assumption just from talking to
1:01:05him like why are we talking about it on
1:01:07the hike is that there was just more you
1:01:10know like not pressure maybe kind of
1:01:13peer pressure but there was just more
1:01:15like wanting to know what could I do to
1:01:18get this person to like me to because he
1:01:20only likes certain friends and those
1:01:22were his people he would obsess on them
1:01:24like kind of friend him Connor that's
1:01:26the person who used this on me when the
1:01:27raid and that's the person that says on
1:01:29so if someone liked the interest that he
1:01:31likes he will like develop that
1:01:33intention on this and just want to not a
1:01:35bad session I don't mean like uh he
1:01:38wants that that's the person you like
1:01:40hang out with he didn't have
1:01:41you know 27 friends he had just that
1:01:44person and so that was what and I think
1:01:47I feel like with that that's where we
1:01:49were at in that situation of just trying
1:01:51to
1:01:51you know this thing is bad but I
1:01:54understand you have a friend anymore
1:01:56let's do this you know that sucks
1:01:59that helps so so that helps with the
1:02:02bath salts and and I'm trying to see how
1:02:05piano reacted to these little things
1:02:06that happened to him until they went
1:02:08missing uh the candle into that
1:02:11can you tell me about that okay so Ann
1:02:15wanted to I don't remember if he wanted
1:02:18to stay up 30 minutes I can't remember
1:02:20there was something he did that allowed
1:02:22him to earn some extra time so there was
1:02:24something he did but Albert had grounded
1:02:27in from playing a switch so it wasn't
1:02:30allowed to you know play a switch or
1:02:31whatever he was only allowed to
1:02:34um like if he wanted a bunch of
1:02:35exclusive or something like that
1:02:37right well on the hike earlier that day
1:02:40he was so helpful with me and people
1:02:43think he was sick and he's still
1:02:45whatever but I have fear stomach issues
1:02:46and still have to operate but he was so
1:02:49helpful with uh
1:02:51taking care of the dogs and I had told
1:02:54scanning what's that you know
1:02:58yeah so the Sundays they could be
1:03:01impossible
1:03:03so we sat around and
1:03:06you know we had like before we left we
1:03:08were like on the phone I'm just like
1:03:09crying and he's like

1:03:14that was like he knew the names but not
1:03:16the grown up in like my generation to
1:03:17like know who that was so we just sat
1:03:20there and like talked about it in a
1:03:21tourism like you know Kobe had all the
1:03:24girls so he's like James I started
1:03:25relating in the terms of being like Oh
1:03:27that's you know like me I have our
1:03:30sisters and so you know we were talking
1:03:31about that and then in between some of
1:03:33these questions might have been certain
1:03:35questions that led to what he was asking
1:03:38in school math and I think yeah and so
1:03:42that led into on the wall on the hike
1:03:44that day about what we talked about so
1:03:46then that evening I don't remember what
1:03:48he did but I remember I said he had 30
1:03:49minutes or something extra and I knew it
1:03:52wasn't his um Nintendo or things like
1:03:54that at the time because he wasn't
1:03:55supposed to earn that back until the
1:03:56next day
1:03:58um in Berlin
1:04:00um
1:04:01we had I think I was upstairs you know
1:04:04Harley wasn't there and Charlie had to
1:04:06work until eventually we are like this
1:04:08but I had to work until I think it was
1:04:11like maybe 10 15.
1:04:12the difference and then
1:04:16Ganon had think what was he doing even
1:04:20doing something I remember so I go back
1:04:22upstairs then I hear the machine was
1:04:25saying like beep beep like Israel was
1:04:28coming in the house okay so I put the
1:04:30code in thinking that
1:04:32the last alarm came off there was no
1:04:34doors open
1:04:35or you know none of that stuff my doors
1:04:38open
1:04:39um so then I go back Marlena with that
1:04:42and I see she's facing sleeping but not
1:04:44really
1:04:45and then um but she had like the cover
1:04:48of her head a little bit and so like she
1:04:50was doing like whatever
1:04:52and so then I hear the things staying
1:04:55fire does it actually say fire set fire
1:04:58so that was the crazy thing because I
1:05:00never had heard I didn't know what I
1:05:03thought it would just be like right like
1:05:05a Sirens but I don't know if it was
1:05:06those detector things on fire or if it
1:05:09was an actual
1:05:11um
1:05:14um but it was just like fire fire fire
1:05:16whatever
1:05:18um so then I rode back in there and I
1:05:20look and I see I don't see anything
1:05:21language or I don't see anything that
1:05:23looked downstairs and I don't see
1:05:24anything
1:05:26and it was just it was still going so I
1:05:28grabbed Lena I'm gonna tell you exactly
1:05:31wrong but I'm pretty sure I grabbed Lena
1:05:32first let me grab the dog I gave her the
1:05:34key
1:05:36thing is how it went don't put me on
1:05:37that bad I'm sure it was in that order
1:05:39so and we run out to the truck I was
1:05:43like
1:05:44either open the door I don't remember
1:05:46somehow they get to to the truck okay
1:05:49um and then I run back downstairs
1:05:50because at this point I already know I'm
1:05:52upstairs I'm gonna smoke
1:05:54and so I run back downstairs and We're
1:05:56right downstairs and Diana was awake but
1:05:59not awake like you know how you can
1:06:00almost like be asleep but not asleep
1:06:06right right so um he was on the sofa and
1:06:10so like when I pull the cover I pull
1:06:13Ganon with the cover and so at this
1:06:16point in time then I put the fire that's
1:06:19out what did the fire look like uh it
1:06:22wasn't it wasn't like huge yeah I wasn't
1:06:25in the carpet on the sofa uh I feel like
1:06:28it was on like on the covers
1:06:30on the covers was the cover on the sofa
1:06:32though or was it on the floor
1:06:35I don't remember I just remember it was
1:06:37in the small location it wasn't a big
1:06:40enough fire to to
1:06:43uh
1:06:45yellow

1:06:51what blue burns the hottest then you
1:06:53have stuff if stuff gets involved in the
1:06:55fire you have a yellowish or reddish

1:07:16um him with the cover to you and we run
1:07:19out did you put out the fire or no
1:07:23I know that we took the covers both of
1:07:25us when he sees what's going on we took
1:07:27the covers and like we smashed down on
1:07:30the or on the fire like on it yeah
1:07:32because my other thought was oxygen put
1:07:34it out that's all I could think about
1:07:36was just like you know put it out
1:07:37whatever whatever did it take
1:07:41a lot to put it out or no
1:07:43or did you just smother it and then move
1:07:46or was there something in between

1:08:02that we had I had grabbed them all and

1:08:06of those bottles and covers where they
1:08:08drink covers all the paperwork so it was
1:08:10like stuff there
1:08:12um and then I run these running behind
1:08:15me so as I'm running up he
1:08:18make trips or whatever it's but he's
1:08:20right behind me but then I think I exit
1:08:23back up garage I feel like
1:08:25um so the truck was in the garage no no
1:08:27no no no no it was out front I'm saying
1:08:29like I think I I think I exited back out
1:08:31the garage
1:08:33um because I feel like I just ran back
1:08:34to that door I'm not I I'm not 100
1:08:36positive I know we ran out then Gana
1:08:38runs right right out behind me and when
1:08:41um I'm I turned around and I I'm saying
1:08:44something to him because I'm like hey
1:08:46because in my mind I don't remember if I
1:08:49had gotten the dogs even though I had
1:08:51already I'd grabbed the dogs and so like
1:08:53he's I don't remember what we were
1:08:55saying but we were all in a free tape
1:08:57you know whatever he jumped in the
1:08:59drivers I'm sorry passenger side and I'm
1:09:02in the driver's side of the truck okay
1:09:04Elena is in the back and at that point
1:09:07we drive off
1:09:09so we drive off for another committed
1:09:11baby and then

1:09:23and then
1:09:24um but at the time again always lays
1:09:27with like his uh
1:09:31or like or like something like that so
1:09:34um at the time when we ran out I feel
1:09:36like did you have a shirt I don't
1:09:38remember sure to grab another cover when
1:09:40we ran out or whatever but I knew that
1:09:42he had some birds on his arms but I know
1:09:45they weren't like they weren't bad like
1:09:48friends that were bad they were just
1:09:50like uh if you peel it a little bit or
1:09:52whatever so they just colored that was a
1:09:54skin reddish pinkish what was it did you
1:09:57see it then or not no it was not until
1:09:59later that I really like paid attention
1:10:01and should have been like okay well
1:10:09um
1:10:10so yeah so like our arms I mean arms
1:10:13um his arms and then we get in the truck
1:10:15or whatever and then we drive off so
1:10:17then we come back
1:10:19and so I'm of course and like I text
1:10:21Harley I text Albert you know what
1:10:24happened and I said you know this is
1:10:27what happened until Harley this is what
1:10:29happened don't paint it when you come
1:10:30home visit the house at this point how
1:10:31do we get back in smells like nothing
1:10:33but smoke
1:10:35and so nothing but smoke at this point
1:10:37in time and it was just like I couldn't
1:10:39get the smoke out even opening up the
1:10:41like Windows and all those things I
1:10:44couldn't get into my car
1:10:46um so that was
1:10:48so what what happened with these covers
1:10:50that you used to put out the plane
1:10:53well the covers were either left there
1:10:57um because I remember getting the stuff
1:10:58some of the stuff and putting outside in
1:11:00the trash can which I even showed the
1:11:02people when they got there that I put in
1:11:04a trash can you guys have singular trash
1:11:07cans for each house there or just do you
1:11:10have a dumpster or what you really like
1:11:12it's a big trash it's just a big round
1:11:14one of the weird ones
1:11:16yeah it was just one of those
1:11:19um
1:11:20there wasn't no one was like whatever
1:11:22but
1:11:26we did want our to like it's like come
1:11:31home like not just like come on with me
1:11:33for that but we maybe like had updated a
1:11:36little bit to Albert because we were
1:11:37like thinking you know like oh you're
1:11:40being upset
1:11:44whatever because he's like worried or
1:11:46you know like whatever her side and my
1:11:48message to Albert probably was a little
1:11:49bit like
1:11:52a little more over exaggeration just
1:11:54because
1:11:55when you say we did you talk with the
1:11:57kids about let's get Albert home no no
1:11:59we we did sit down and because when I
1:12:01was asking him like was this you know
1:12:04did you do this on accident it was an
1:12:06accident just you know whatever and so
1:12:09we were just talking about you know like
1:12:11the whole thing everybody was in
1:12:13wondering who uh we were all in the
1:12:15bedroom at the time which was our
1:12:17bedroom upstairs okay so we were all in
1:12:19the barrel upstairs and was just
1:12:22you know talking and you know whatever
1:12:25and I thought I got to let your daddy
1:12:27know and then I was I was not going to
1:12:29tell him that was the original thing it
1:12:31was not telling it was just to fix it
1:12:33and not telling because then I was like
1:12:35if I just do that and we don't have to
1:12:37we don't have to worry about it right
1:12:39but then that was just an opportunity
1:12:41to be like oh well foreign
1:12:58agree that was a good idea to kind of
1:13:00play it up a little bit did he agree
1:13:02yeah we all we all were in like an
1:13:04agreeance so so how did you play it up
1:13:06was the fire really not that big and you
1:13:08made it like it was a big deal well to
1:13:11to whenever
1:13:13maybe I should get back home when we
1:13:15were explaining it to people in general
1:13:18like that was our whole life oh my gosh
1:13:22my gosh ever like
1:13:24my phone you saw that like if we the
1:13:26people that we missed it should be made
1:13:27it more of like a you know like a bigger
1:13:30situation like than what it then what it
1:13:33really was and yeah because I couldn't
1:13:35understand how the candle could make a
1:13:37big fire because my wife's light skin
1:13:39was all the time around the house and if
1:13:41we knocked them over and if you knock it
1:13:42over kind of nothing happens yeah and
1:13:45then it might cinch the carpet a little
1:13:46bit yeah
1:13:48um I've seen the pictures and I'm
1:13:50surprised that you know that much of the
1:13:52carpet was burned well it's probably
1:13:53because I I mean I don't know but I know
1:13:55that we did go like push down on the
1:13:57carpet and it was on the cover which was
1:13:59the cover was wrapped up on hand right
1:14:01so I mean I don't know like that's why I
1:14:04was just curious about
1:14:06the burn itself on the carpet because
1:14:08that was awfully big for a candle I
1:14:10didn't even think that was even big was
1:14:11that really big yeah I mean it's not big
1:14:13for a candle because like I said my wife
1:14:16we looked like a church sometimes with
1:14:18all the candles sea lights yeah we have
1:14:20dogs running around and kids yeah yeah
1:14:22no it was I was just surprised the
1:14:24candle could make you know a big black
1:14:26thing in the carpet well it said it
1:14:28might have been held there for a little
1:14:30while maybe he tried to set yeah I don't
1:14:33know

1:14:41know that he did tell me later that he
1:14:43thought that I was coming downstairs
1:14:45and he had he was playing this game
1:14:47so he was playing this game
1:14:50this game yeah so he did tell us he told
1:14:52me and Lena and all of this stuff
1:14:54we were all talking together he told us
1:14:56but he thought I was coming downstairs
1:14:59I could catch you on this game
1:15:03I don't know I don't know if he
1:15:05accidentally or thought you know
1:15:08whatever I just know he said that he
1:15:10thought but does he take any
1:15:11responsibility for knocking the candle
1:15:13over or did it just say it happened or
1:15:15what no he did say that he did say that
1:15:18he had he had done it that he had
1:15:20started it or whatever and I asked
1:15:22that's why I kept asking him like did
1:15:24you do it on purpose but I'm curious
1:15:26about or did you you know was in an
1:15:29accident he told me an accident he
1:15:31thought I was coming downstairs
1:15:33so

1:15:35to me
1:15:36sorry we could afford to buy another
1:15:39yeah for sure it's been fun and another
1:15:42carpet now that's not like that's not a
1:15:45problem like I mean we were talking
1:15:46about like things that we had and nice
1:15:49things that we can afford to find that
1:15:51so that's not
1:15:52that was not a point of contention and
1:15:54again very well but I've known that team
1:15:56so did it burn it burned the sofa also I
1:15:59don't think it burned so far
1:16:02I'm just saying like in general in that
1:16:03area whether if it would have burned
1:16:08right did he like the candles
1:16:12McKenna was he had already lit the
1:16:15candle because the dogs were I think
1:16:17obviously

1:16:28came that's why I was telling Albert
1:16:30taught him how to use like the box Cut

1:16:35um as long as you know he was usually
1:16:38within reason like okay I'm not going to
1:16:40go
1:16:41a lot of the flying on fire or you know
1:16:43like yeah or something like that when I
1:16:45was little too like I was I did the same
1:16:47thing about curious about my shoes and
1:16:49you know those things about that but we
1:16:51had already given him enough of you know
1:16:54like safety talks about like Albert when
1:16:57he talked to him about using the box
1:16:58cutters and knives he always showed them
1:16:59the right direction you know you know
1:17:02not to just go to links
1:17:05so he had already had these you know
1:17:09like
1:17:09talks about the correct way to do these
1:17:12things
1:17:14explains those two so I've got the bad
1:17:16cells
1:17:17the candle and now the butt injured in a
1:17:20garage to tell me about that that the
1:17:22foot I'm sorry before I go there of
1:17:24course so I don't forget you said
1:17:26healing these later I just remember that
1:17:29I just remember that on Monday his arms
1:17:31had a little bit appealing to it
1:17:33and and that's when I said in my mind
1:17:35and like I told the earlier it was here
1:17:37that I did at that point say hmm I
1:17:40probably should like think about if this
1:17:43is if I need to if later on after I put
1:17:46stuff on it I need to think about if
1:17:48if it gets worse you know monitor the
1:17:51situation you know like those type of
1:17:53things did you put stuff on it or no
1:17:55well we had took that green hello stuff
1:17:57and we had took and put the little
1:17:59because the dog could just
1:18:01get bit before so I already had that
1:18:03little wrap stuff you know okay and so
1:18:05we had already done that in that
1:18:06situation did you put it in both arms
1:18:09I think it's on the right arm I feel
1:18:11like so when did you do that was that
1:18:13Sunday night Monday morning I think it
1:18:16was Sunday night
1:18:18um no actually it wasn't it was it was
1:18:20through the night because we stayed up
1:18:21late so it would have already been
1:18:23Monday morning hours
1:18:29the smell was so like it like stuck in
1:18:32the house trying to smoke we couldn't
1:18:34rain no matter what did you guys hang
1:18:36out until the you could bring it we
1:18:38slept in our room and then we opened all
1:18:40the windows downstairs
1:18:43okay and all four of you slept in
1:18:46so Lena Harley
1:18:49Selena Harley me and him were in the
1:18:51room for a while then Dana went to
1:18:57yeah so then Dannon went to Lane's room
1:19:00for a while but then he was in his room
1:19:03by the time he woke up so I don't know
1:19:04if he caught up in what time do you
1:19:05think you went to lay in this room
1:19:07soon after midnight sure I don't know
1:19:09when did you call him and say it was
1:19:13pretty early in the morning well we
1:19:14didn't what happened is I didn't we
1:19:15didn't all I did was I called an ass
1:19:18about his stomach it was nothing to do
1:19:20with anything to do with the fire or
1:19:23anything like that my my question was
1:19:25I'd already given a Miralax which was
1:19:28like you know so we had a prescription

1:19:37and
1:19:39so then it also had Xbox and I thought
1:19:42you know at what point can I not
1:19:46how much is no if I can't get into past
1:19:49this at what point is there enough or
1:19:52can I go ahead and do it like it in love
1:19:53or like
1:19:54Albert can tell you I've given him an
1:19:56animal before and like things like that
1:19:58because it gets so bad and it's like
1:20:00just so big and they get clogged up so
1:20:02that was the concern about
1:20:05how to get any past that
1:20:07because like for me I have to like I can
1:20:10drink 10 scoops and Miralax and it's
1:20:13cool it won't affect me at all yeah and
1:20:16so I didn't want it to be where it was
1:20:18it's a great cinnamon awesome the
1:20:22combination is different than my stomach
1:20:24because like I said if I take 10 of them
1:20:26I I'm okay so he's having the squirts
1:20:28from the and he started having those in
1:20:30the hike but he couldn't pass that whole
1:20:33evening is that right right he would get
1:20:35out
1:20:36like big bows but like couldn't get like
1:20:39the whole thing out and that was
1:20:41sometimes if he finally found it
1:20:43wouldn't it or for me I lay in the
1:20:47bathroom and I'm in pain like whenever
1:20:49was he telling you he was in pain well
1:20:52he sits on the toilet his common thing
1:20:54is that he'll sit on the toilet and just
1:20:56sit there and sit down as long as he got
1:20:58something to focus with again it's pain
1:21:00tolerance it's very like high when it
1:21:02comes to just sitting there and focusing
1:21:04and all these things
1:21:18no we
1:21:19of course juniors yes so I had
1:21:22originally said Burger King but that's
1:21:23not Burger King right there that's
1:21:25Carson
1:21:27um
1:21:28because I never go to college but we got
1:21:29two kids meals and I think I got
1:21:31something too and Lena
1:21:41if he ate he had done something he had
1:21:44already used it some because he wouldn't
1:21:46have eaten
1:21:47and how did you give him the Miralax
1:21:48before the meal I'd already given new
1:21:51looks like throughout the week we always
1:21:53had this thing where if I went in there
1:21:54and took one of my shots because I say
1:21:57berries or something like that he would
1:21:58take one tea so it was common for me to
1:22:02be like okay here in Albert would always
1:22:04say go mix him up one of the drinks
1:22:05because we put it orange juice well he
1:22:07didn't he didn't like juices as much as
1:22:09it was like Kool-Aid juices like seafood
1:22:12so those are the common things always
1:22:14try to give Miralax to to regulate the
1:22:16system but the problem is if you don't
1:22:19take the Vyvanse so you don't take it
1:22:22for a day like he didn't take it on
1:22:23Saturday
1:22:24because family was in town and so you
1:22:28don't take almost energy and if you
1:22:29don't take them Sunday that's when
1:22:31that's when it starts to happen so
1:22:33that's when the constipation in the
1:22:35diarrhea kind of can go handstand so
1:22:37like let's say if he took it Saturday in
1:22:40the same movie Sunday he wouldn't have
1:22:42been as bad so then the problem is
1:22:45Albert always was going to not on it if
1:22:47we're going to go do look a big time
1:22:48activity because instead of having him
1:22:50or 18 you know zoned out on something I
1:22:54mean you look like
1:22:56that
1:22:57right yeah and and so like the thing was
1:23:00if we go somewhere then
1:23:02requires him to have like you know
1:23:05massive amounts of things
1:23:17especially like on the hike I wanted him
1:23:19to be able to learn
1:23:20run around and do things because medium
1:23:22we're always on the top of all like if
1:23:24we had heightened we were always on the
1:23:26top of heights we were always the one
1:23:27right you know reading doing everything
1:23:30so was he bleeding that night do you
1:23:32know from wrestling
1:23:34yeah
1:23:37um
1:23:38so what happens is from him squeezing
1:23:41um
1:23:42I hate talking about the food sounds
1:23:44like something I'm trying to figure out
1:23:46yeah things are going on with him in the
1:23:48last couple hours yeah so like if I can
1:23:50squeegee and stuff like that kids does
1:23:52the same thing as my does the same thing
1:23:54and so that's why I told you understand
1:23:55what you're like I'm like I relate on
1:23:56that because it was like
1:23:58oh my gosh you know
1:24:01you're just from squeezing and yeah and
1:24:04things like that and that wasn't like
1:24:06pouring out okay
1:24:10yeah because of him struggling with that

1:24:39downstairs I thought he'd earned extra
1:24:41time right be able to stay up and stuff
1:24:44yeah but I thought was he not struggling
1:24:45with this after the candle incident
1:24:47right because like what happens is I
1:24:50mean if you want to call in a GI person
1:24:52but he gets or he's okay and then a
1:24:55little bit more okay and a little bit
1:24:57more episodes they happen every once a
1:24:59month every day where he goes to the
1:25:01episode of his stomach and Mindless
1:25:04thinking I hope so when you guys were up
1:25:06in the bedroom how was he
1:25:08you mean like after after the plane and
1:25:11fire and smoke he was upset and like
1:25:14crying because he thought he was going
1:25:15to lose his switch like for a long time
1:25:17like he thought you know that he was at
1:25:20least a picture all the time so my
1:25:22biggest thing was I don't care we'll
1:25:24just do whatever we gotta do to find
1:25:26news find it whatever
1:25:29I would be quicker to cover up a lot of
1:25:33things because
1:25:36we just related on the same same page
1:25:39more so than Elena because Lane would be
1:25:41worse
1:25:42the bratty is sure you know whatever
1:25:45um so again it could be more of like we
1:25:48can have like secrets and talking so
1:25:50yeah
1:25:52right yeah
1:25:55so I'd be more inclined to
1:25:57so it's okay I don't tell anybody to fix
1:26:00it and so that was kind of like guards
1:26:02our conversations
1:26:06and he was he was upset like like very
1:26:11you know like upset and hurt and just
1:26:14trying to do whatever but we also kind
1:26:16of just so how like do you think he
1:26:18stayed up with you in the room until he
1:26:20finally closed I don't know is it past
1:26:22midnight or do you know I don't know
1:26:27so whenever he
1:26:30um went to Elena's room
1:26:33I think he walked down I don't I don't
1:26:35remember
1:26:35because I know we all because all four
1:26:37of us couldn't fit in the band plus you
1:26:39know
1:26:40but at one point in time we had to
1:26:42switch the whole like okay this repair
1:26:45and I feel like at one point Harley was
1:26:47sleeping on the sofa and it hardly
1:26:49Elaine switch because we were up like I
1:26:52said we couldn't breathe it was it was
1:26:54very funky
1:26:56um so we were all like not sleeping not
1:26:59when Lena went to school I'm pretty sure
1:27:01she probably went to sleep it was very
1:27:03very so it gets off spin right because
1:27:05I'm not gonna stand up and like
1:27:10Elena was real sleepy but she went to
1:27:12school
1:27:13yeah like what I'm saying is when she
1:27:15when she woke up she probably was like
1:27:17really really like
1:27:18I felt like she could have used a couple
1:27:20more hours so why did you call Hannah
1:27:22then sick and not her well she wasn't
1:27:25struggling with stomach problems so he
1:27:27still had him in the morning right so he
1:27:30wasn't I even had messaged Albert the
1:27:32other night and said hey I asked him
1:27:35um like I ask him is it okay if the
1:27:37animal sees out
1:27:39and so that was
1:27:41yeah so he didn't respond because he was
1:27:43on a different time zone
1:27:45so you called in sick though too for
1:27:47your work so what I did was I said um I
1:27:51told Albert I said hey I'll just stay at
1:27:53home today
1:27:56and he didn't he didn't write me back or
1:27:58he didn't whatever uh but the plan was
1:28:01so I wasn't going to go back to the
1:28:05teaching but that was like I was I did
1:28:08not go back to teaching so starting when
1:28:11was that a plan
1:28:13how do you was like
1:28:15December so I was just going to try to
1:28:17use like days in China
1:28:21whatever because I didn't
1:28:23want to go
1:28:24back right
1:28:25what did you tell your school as far as
1:28:28why you didn't show up that day for that
1:28:30I didn't talk to them about anything
1:28:31that day yes well you didn't I mean did
1:28:34you just not show yeah
1:28:38the okay so what happened was I
1:28:41transitioned because that was like okay
1:28:43I wasn't going to be a teacher anymore
1:28:45and I was like okay well I have to do
1:28:46something until just like the whole
1:28:50flight attended things
1:28:51so I had to do something in children I
1:28:53couldn't just not have money or whatever
1:28:56so I got on vegan
1:29:00what district
1:29:02it's called one of the districts and I
1:29:03said I would do a long-term spell
1:29:05position where I would do
1:29:07um the regular Southern position and
1:29:10then so then I just at that point it was
1:29:12going to just call in whenever I could
1:29:14work I think it's 88. I'll be having my
1:29:17email so um I could just call in
1:29:19whenever I worked or whatever and just
1:29:23consumer you scheduled to show up then
1:29:25Monday morning
1:29:26from the school that I wasn't going to
1:29:28work at anymore I had already told them
1:29:30that I wasn't like I didn't even
1:29:31complete paperwork with them yet so it
1:29:34wasn't even I wasn't even telling on you
1:29:36to show up that day or write me what do
1:29:39you mean but I had like I hadn't
1:29:41signed any contracts I hadn't like done
1:29:45anything with them because the whole
1:29:46playlist was not going to be teaching
1:29:50okay yeah I'll get you didn't sign
1:29:51contracts but were they planning for you
1:29:53to come in to do something on Monday and
1:29:55you had to call in I never called in on
1:29:58Monday and I already told him no on
1:30:00Thursday or Friday
1:30:01okay on Thursday or Friday I'd already
1:30:04told them that I wasn't coming in like
1:30:07for I didn't go in Friday either like
1:30:10I'd already told them I wasn't so it was
1:30:12like you're asking me about if I told
1:30:14them Monday business I'd already told
1:30:15them prior oh you'd already told them so
1:30:17you didn't have to tell them you're not
1:30:18coming in on them right because I had
1:30:20already told him because he on my dad's
1:30:22side there were someone who passed away
1:30:23but then I just used that as a reason
1:30:25why I wasn't coming home
1:30:27the following the prior week oh okay set
1:30:30it up
1:30:32and then how did they pass away well my
1:30:35dad is remarried too much
1:30:45have any plans to go there at all I
1:30:48didn't yeah but it bought me some time
1:30:51into not teaching and then trying to get
1:30:54set up on the next
1:30:57I started developing like
1:31:00a lot of stress over teaching because it
1:31:04wasn't so much about teaching anymore
1:31:07following a piece of paper that wasn't
1:31:10helping with students and so that was
1:31:11already a plan of it differently because
1:31:15you could say the Stepmom excuse them
1:31:17did you mention stepmom for the week
1:31:20prior then as far as why you might not
1:31:21be there no I didn't mention anyone I
1:31:23just said I had a difference the family
1:31:25but I didn't say anything you do in our
1:31:27family or something I just said we had
1:31:29to are they okay with that yeah okay I
1:31:33mean
1:31:36I mean death in the family you got reach
1:31:38out yeah and those people I hadn't even
1:31:39done anything like with them it was just
1:31:41why would I even want to set myself up
1:31:43in a position to
1:31:45to be teaching with them again I just
1:31:46couldn't do it I thought I could because
1:31:49I was like if I do it I would just
1:31:51do it until
1:31:53you know I could be on a sub position or
1:31:56whatever and I'm just I hated it yeah I
1:32:00had to stop for a little while before
1:32:02the FBI in the weekends well see I
1:32:04didn't have a problem moving into the
1:32:06sub list like these
1:32:09right and you push you don't get paid
1:32:11which you should I didn't have a problem
1:32:12moving into the Subways I just didn't I
1:32:14didn't want to teach bed
1:32:16I'm in a hard position with not wanting
1:32:18to be a teacher at all all I wanted to
1:32:20do was work with like people and being
1:32:23like able to see new people every day
1:32:25and so I had to buy myself some time you
1:32:28know and just misfortunate that someone
1:32:30had passed away so I bought myself time
1:32:33man I wanted to
1:32:34yeah
1:32:35so you wanted the truth that's the truth
1:32:39the lovers of time to just be able to
1:32:42take their I think I think it's Thursday
1:32:44Friday I mean sorry I know it was one or
1:32:46two days to take that time through the
1:32:48weekend it kind of self-reflect and be
1:32:50like
1:32:51how can I you know get to the position
1:32:54where I wanted
1:32:56you know how hard it is in your whole
1:32:58life working in education
1:33:00really want to do it yeah I don't know
1:33:03why it's an education
1:33:04but yeah I mean some people are cut off
1:33:07support and others right and I did it so
1:33:09long and it's like
1:33:12it was more so about following
1:33:16following everything by by the book and
1:33:18not being able to actually have fun with
1:33:21kids anymore and get to teach you the
1:33:23way you want to teach them right yeah so
1:33:26that was it was it was to buy myself
1:33:27some time
1:33:29you know and
1:33:30I'll play it was just looking at the
1:33:33airport and then
1:33:35go from there so tell me about the next
1:33:38morning then so now you're at home
1:33:39Cannon's at home right Elena's at school
1:33:42tell me what happens now right so this
1:33:46has already help from everybody yeah
1:33:49um and you can get help like I said I've
1:33:52had some high level informants that have
1:33:54told me some horrific things and we've
1:33:57had to relocate them we can't get
1:33:58different names
1:34:00but to do that to keep that in motion we
1:34:02need to know the story we can't just say
1:34:04right oh someone someone's got really
1:34:07important information right
1:34:09well that's where I would need someone
1:34:11to help guide me through this because I
1:34:14want to help
1:34:16more than anything
1:34:18that's why I'm here because I'm
1:34:19representing I'm representing Denver FBI
1:34:23and then I have the ability to pull
1:34:25resources from Quantico which is our
1:34:28Behavior Analysis unit everything comes
1:34:29out of her right it's called served
1:34:32which is our incident Response Group
1:34:34so this was this was a big enough case
1:34:37that the supervisor of the FBI asked me
1:34:40to come down from Denver you know and I
1:34:43get all my training out there so you
1:34:45don't that you're not going to have
1:34:47better resources in this room right now
1:34:49and I'm not bragging right I've just
1:34:51been doing this stuff for a long time
1:34:52right so if if you tell me what happens
1:34:57and then you need protection we can do
1:35:00all that stuff
1:35:02so DEA doesn't have those capabilities
1:35:04ATF
1:35:07DEA just investigates drugs and they're
1:35:10very good at it right but the FBI were
1:35:13now worldwide and we have offices over
1:35:17the top to Russia to China to forever so
1:35:21we give a lot more funding because of
1:35:24When September 11th happened
1:35:26that changed everything for us we we
1:35:29weren't the nation's number one law
1:35:32enforcement agency before then
1:35:34but they gave us so many more resources
1:35:36since then right and so I am specialized
1:35:41in missing kids
1:35:44um and unusual homicides including
1:35:47serial killings and whatever else so I
1:35:49didn't get in right away on your case
1:35:51but I did I have been working it for the
1:35:53past couple weeks
1:35:54yeah well I'm here now and whatever you
1:35:58tell me would I mean the worst thing I
1:36:01can do for people like you is if you
1:36:03have a story that requires your
1:36:04protection for the FBI it would not be
1:36:06good for me to run out and say oh
1:36:08Leticia told me this and that's not how
1:36:11it works if this can help us find Gammon
1:36:14we'll do whatever we can
1:36:16I'm not like I'm just I just need like
1:36:18protection for
1:36:20a family yeah

1:37:17healthy guys but it should have
1:37:19just been

1:37:23someone to be like

1:37:32it would have been
1:37:34also what I can help you with can also
1:37:36help you with something else in my

1:38:43like upset about bedrooms and and all
1:38:46those things because I understand you're
1:38:49an expert I know that but I'm telling
1:38:51you that
1:38:53I just I'm gonna need like protection

1:38:59person
1:39:00so but if you're not the person the
1:39:03charges won't be distanced
1:39:06okay if you allowed someone else to come
1:39:09in and do the things to Gannon that we
1:39:11know happened to him you're just as
1:39:12guilty I didn't allow anyone and I don't

1:39:18about to be happening I do know that
1:39:21there's something I can tell you that
1:39:23can help you or help me help everyone

1:39:37FBI for the last 20 I've been working
1:39:39violent crime
1:39:40and I've worked some of the worst cases
1:39:42and you kind of messed me up to put that
1:39:44to be honest seeing what I've seen
1:39:47and I worked 20 years at bank robbers so
1:39:53for I always thought that you were going
1:39:55to have
1:39:56the FBI I'm the good guy bad people go
1:40:00rob banks and that's not how it is I've
1:40:03had to help arrest other FBI agents
1:40:06police officers people from the church
1:40:10school resource officers I mean it
1:40:12doesn't matter what you do and on the
1:40:14other side some of the bank robbers
1:40:16one of them came out after serving a
1:40:1810-year sentence and we had it off just
1:40:21fine even
1:40:22yeah we were on opposite sides of the
1:40:24fence the thing that I have seen though
1:40:27throughout is
1:40:30when something very bad happens people
1:40:33think they can't recover from it
1:40:35and I do not think you are a bad person
1:40:37that's why I'm here no I don't I've seen
1:40:41I've seen that and I know you tell
1:40:43people that to get them to help you
1:40:45I would not have this approach with you
1:40:48if I thought you were a bad person
1:40:50I think something bad happens
1:40:53and I think that what I've seen a lot
1:40:55it's whether it's
1:40:57you think that you can get out if you do
1:41:00this or this or this that's where you
1:41:02are now and you're hoping that one of
1:41:04these things can save you
1:41:06they're not going to be able what do you
1:41:08mean what are you talking about someone
1:41:09they receive me
1:41:11there's no there was nobody else there
1:41:13okay we've looked at the alarms we've
1:41:15looked at the Motions we've looked at
1:41:17the detectors the alarms are already
1:41:19covered up

1:43:51goes missing it has to do with one of
1:43:52the parents
1:43:54that's it that we've worked we work on
1:43:56probabilities okay so and especially
1:43:59with you then
1:44:01and you're there you say he went to a
1:44:03neighbor's house that's the very first
1:44:05thing you say
1:44:07and then there's no thought that
1:44:09somebody took him
1:44:11so there's no fault there's no thoughts
1:44:13third law enforcement
1:44:16understanding what happened leading up
1:44:19to the days before nothing to do with
1:44:21Gannon nothing to do with me okay in
1:44:24terms of me again okay I love Gannon
1:44:27with all my heart
1:44:29and so you can sit here and say 90
1:44:32parents is this okay I'm not saying you
1:44:36don't love him I love him I'm saying
1:44:38that even I have had times when my son
1:44:40rolled the basketball underneath that I
1:44:42want to turn around and right do
1:44:44something and then I would have
1:44:45regretted it later but you're saying
1:44:47what you're saying to me is what you do
1:44:49you speak is that I heard Cannon and I
1:44:53don't think it was intentional okay but
1:44:54I did her again okay and I didn't either
1:44:57intentional or not intentional hurt

1:49:05heard about the sex assault that

1:49:11said that because I was angry but what I
1:49:14think I can offer you today
1:49:16there's some help okay

1:49:22people that I've worked with here this
1:49:25story because you remind me a lot of the
1:49:26case I worked about five years ago and
1:49:29I'm still working a little bit of it
1:49:31today because of the Fallout
1:49:33um there's a guy from Highlands Ranch
1:49:36his name is Harold henthorne and he
1:49:39pretended to go to a job every day
1:49:43like he was earning a lot of money
1:49:45his first wife she was a social worker
1:49:48in Denver she ends up getting sick he's
1:49:51going to have to pay for her medical
1:49:52bills
1:49:53and because of that
1:49:55she's going to be sick she's going to
1:49:57have medical bills she's going to find
1:49:59out that Harold doesn't really have a
1:50:01job okay His Image was very important to
1:50:04him
1:50:05and he ended up staging an accident and
1:50:09I'm not saying he did this again I just
1:50:11want you to listen to this story
1:50:13uh in the card fell on his wife and
1:50:16killed him and he got away yes it was
1:50:19down in Sedalia an entire a Jeep he
1:50:22somehow got her underneath the Jeep and
1:50:24the entire Jeep came down and crossed
1:50:26her
1:50:28um 10 years later 12 years later he's
1:50:30married to a second wife they have a lot
1:50:32more money they have a family
1:50:35Harold's a Christian man and go he went
1:50:37to Cherry Hill's Church which is a big
1:50:39church in high and change and he did
1:50:41built the walls for Juarez he would go
