- 0:00um you seem to imply in your answer to
- 0:03me that
- 0:04um
- 0:06sorry
- 0:09lie in your
- 0:12and you're on the population
- 0:14growth is particularly influenced
- 0:19um or particularly
- 0:22um yeah it's particularly influenced by
- 0:24the speed um
- 0:25uh in which yeah women pick up and that
- 0:31women's education influences the speed
- 0:36in which the contraception is accepted
- 0:41by a population for instance and
- 0:45for the CO2 emissions this speed could
- 0:49already be crucial and could have a
- 0:51crucial effect in fact also for instance
- 0:55among poor parts of the North American
- 0:59population which might also more have
- 1:04more children for instance than the
- 1:07wealthier parts
- 1:10could you please
- 1:12I I I'm sorry I I there's been a
- 1:15misunderstanding because I didn't in in
- 1:16replying to your points about important
- 1:18points about education I didn't mean to
- 1:20make any reference to CO2 emissions in
- 1:24that particular context I was really
- 1:26making
- 1:28um two points both of which I think
- 1:29Michelle also made the first is that
- 1:33education of all children irrespective
- 1:35of their of their gender
- 1:37is something it's terribly terribly
- 1:39important
- 1:40and the second point was that
- 1:43um however it is the case that more
- 1:46educated women tend to reduce their
- 1:48fertility somewhat earlier than less
- 1:50educated women and in that context
- 1:53education of of girls and women can be
- 1:56seen as a facilitator if you like a
- 1:59speeder upper of fertility decline
- 2:02however the third crucial point which we
- 2:05both made
- 2:06me in the context of India Michelle in
- 2:08the context of I think it was Morocco
- 2:10but is that uneducated women can reduce
- 2:13their fertility as well
