- 1:32>> Oh yes. If you read 1 Corinthians 14
- 1:36from verse 2, I want us to read it. 1
- 1:40Corinthians 14:2. It says that for he
- 1:42that speaketh in an unknown tongue
- 1:44speaketh not unto men, but unto God, for
- 1:48no man understandeth him, how be it in
- 1:51the spirit he speaketh mysteries. If you
- 1:54jump to verse four, it says that he that
- 1:56speaketh in an unknown tongue edifth
- 1:59himself, but he that prophesied edify
- 2:02the church. I want us to see the part a
- 2:05of verse 4 in ISV.
- 2:09ISV says that the person who speaks in
- 2:11an unknown language builds himself up.
- 2:14Hallelujah. So this evening I want us to

- 6:00>> Pray that because of us more and more
- 6:03people will hear the Lord's message with
- 6:05pleasure soon and that pray that they
- 6:08will believe his message so then they
- 6:11will thank God for it. This is what
- 6:13happened among you. So pray that they
- 6:16will believe his message. I want us to
- 6:18pray this evening that the word of God
- 6:21is about to come to us. We are praying
- 6:23that we will believe it. You know, it's
- 6:25not just listening to the word of God.
- 6:27James um James said that we are not just
- 6:29hearers of the word, but we must be
- 6:31doers of the word. And you do the word
- 6:33when you have understanding. You do the
- 6:35word when you believe it. You do the
- 6:37word when you see the word manifesting
- 6:40in your life. So I want us to pray once
- 6:42again that the Lord will open our hearts
- 6:45to understand the word that is coming to
- 6:47us that we have understanding into the
- 6:50word. I said pray that they will believe
- 6:52his message. So we are praying that
- 6:54everyone that will hear this message,
- 6:56everyone that will come to the cell
- 6:58meeting, everyone that will come to the
- 6:59LC meeting, everyone that will will hear
- 7:02the word will believe it in the name of
- 7:04the Lord Jesus. Let's pray.
- 7:09>> [music]
- 7:26>> that the word of God
- 7:29have understanding, we have great
- 7:31understanding into the word that will
- 7:33believe the word in the name of the Lord
- 7:35Jesus that will not receive the word and
- 7:38the word for men, but we receive the
- 7:40word and the word of God. For they are
- 7:42oracles of God in the name of the Lord
- 7:45Jesus.
- 7:53The word of God is having it free. The
- 7:56word of God is having it free in our
- 7:58life in the name of the Lord Jesus. The
- 8:00word of God is having it free.

- 8:26of God is life onto us this evening. The
- 8:28word of God is life onto us this evening

- 9:11in our lives. In the name of the Lord
- 9:13Jesus, the word of God is going to have
- 9:15his purpose in our lives. In the name of
- 9:18the Lord Jesus.
- 9:20Understanding, understanding,
- 9:23understanding, understanding. For the
- 9:25son of God has come and he has given us
- 9:27an understanding.
- 9:31The word of God is life. The word of God
- 9:34is life. The word of God is life unto
- 9:37[music] us in the name of the Lord
- 9:39Jesus. In the name of the Lord Jesus. In
- 9:42the name of the Lord Jesus. Oh,

- 9:47>> Hallelujah.
- 9:48>> GIVE THE LORD A SHOUT.
- 9:50>> HALLELUJAH. SAY, I'm not living here the
- 9:52same.
- 9:53>> I'm living here transformed.
- 9:55>> I believe the word.
- 9:57>> I believe the word and it's working for
- 9:58me. I believe the word and it's working
- 10:02for me in the name of the Lord Jesus. In
- 10:04the name of the Lord Jesus. Give the

- 21:00you speak to us in a very special way.
- 21:02We receive your word with meekness and
- 21:04with gladness. Thank you for the spirit
- 21:06of wisdom and revelation, the knowledge
- 21:08of Jesus Christ. Thank you that the
- 21:09house of understanding is enlightened
- 21:11practically this morning as we hear your
- 21:13word even in Jesus name. Speak to us
- 21:15Lord even in Jesus name. Amen.
- 21:17>> Amen.
- 21:18>> All right. So, I'm sharing with you on
- 21:20benefits of the cell ministry. Um
- 21:24I have a few points here but I'll just
- 21:26do for the sake of time. I may not be
- 21:28able to do a lot with us but um wherever
- 21:31we get to we'll stop to the glory of
- 21:32God. So I want to share with you on um
- 21:35benefit of the cell ministry once again.
- 21:37And the point the first point I have is
- 21:39um the the cell ministry helps you
- 21:42fulfill your ministry.
- 21:45the the cell ministry helps you to
- 21:49fulfill your ministry. Um it's amazing
- 21:52how
- 21:54um
- 21:56sometimes Christians don't know that
- 21:58they have a ministry to fulfill. Um all
- 22:02of us are called. If you read in the
- 22:03Bible, you will notice how that every
- 22:06child of God is called of God. And we
- 22:09have a ministry to fulfill. will have a
- 22:12ministry from our Lord and Savior Jesus
- 22:15Christ to fulfill. If you read in um
- 22:17Matthew chapter 28 um verse 20, if you
- 22:21kindly show it to us, Matthew 28:20,
- 22:23Jesus um said, [music] let's read from
- 22:26verse 18, so that it makes more sense.
- 22:29And Jesus came and spake unto them
- 22:30saying, "All power is given unto me in
- 22:33heaven and in earth." The word power
- 22:35there is exusia, authority. The the
- 22:38Greek word is exusia, which means
- 22:39authority. All authority is given unto
- 22:41[music] me in heaven and in earth. Verse
- 22:44verse 19. Then it says, "Go ye therefore
- 22:46and teach all nations, baptizing them in
- 22:49the in the name of the father and of the
- 22:51son and of the holy ghost." Now the King
- 22:53James says,
- 22:54"Teach all nations." But the New King
- 22:57James says something else, which is
- 23:01actually what the the Bible is making
- 23:03reference to or what Jesus was actually
- 23:05talking about. It says that so the New
- 23:07King James says [music] that go
- 23:08therefore and make disciples of all the
- 23:11nations. That is what Jesus was um
- 23:15talking about. Make disciples of all
- 23:17nations. So go therefore and make
- 23:19disciples of all the nations baptizing
- 23:21them in the name of the father and of
- 23:23the son and of the holy ghost. So
- 23:25biblically speaking the authority that
- 23:27Jesus [music]
- 23:28um has given to us is for the purpose of
- 23:32making disciples of all nations. [music]
- 23:35So the more disciples we make, the more
- 23:38of Christ's authority we see in the
- 23:40earth. The more disciples we make, the
- 23:43more of Christ's authority we see in the
- 23:45earth. [music] And the more um um if the
- 23:49more authority, the more we want
- 23:51Christ's authority to be expressed in
- 23:52the air, the more disciples we should
- 23:54make. Do you see? [music] So it's like a
- 23:59one that something that leads one that
- 24:00leads to the other. Authority [music]
- 24:02from Christ leads to disciples being
- 24:04made and disciples being made leads to
- 24:07Christ's authority being felt in the
- 24:09Lord. If if you notice that there are
- 24:11some people who orphans around you who
- 24:13need to be taken care of and all of that
- 24:15and you feel led to take care of them.
- 24:18That's that that means that Christ
- 24:20authority is not in that area. You see
- 24:22the the the orphans are not being taken
- 24:24care of and [music] they need to be
- 24:26helped. They need to be taken care of
- 24:27and if Christ authority comes there
- 24:30they'll be fed. They'll be helped.
- 24:31[music] They'll be raised. They'll be
- 24:32taken to school. I mean, a lot of things
- 24:34will happen for them. And God depends on
- 24:36us [music] who are disciples to bring
- 24:39his authority into the earth. You know,
- 24:40Jesus prayed and said, "Thy will be done
- 24:43on earth even as it is in heaven." And
- 24:45God [music] is depending on you and I to
- 24:47make sure his will is done in the earth.
- 24:50Hallelujah.
- 24:51>> Hallelujah.
- 24:51>> So, there's nothing like a a a salvation
- 24:54without a calling. I [music] mean, if
- 24:56you are saved, you are called. And I
- 24:59want to show it to you. you have
- 25:00something to do, you have a ministry to
- 25:02fulfill. Um, let us look at 2
- 25:04Corinthians 5:1 17. When it comes to
- 25:08fulfilling the ministry, it's almost as
- 25:09though um, God is God is selfish in
- 25:13quotes, if you like, [music] just in
- 25:16quotes, you know, because of these
- 25:18verses I'm going to read to you. I'm not
- 25:19saying God is selfish, but I'm just
- 25:20saying that it's almost as though
- 25:22because of the the agency with which,
- 25:24you know, he he does things. It says,
- 25:26"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he
- 25:28is a new creature. Old things are passed
- 25:31away. Behold, all things are become
- 25:32new." Now, next verse, it says, "And all
- 25:35things are of God, who has reconciled us
- 25:38to himself by Jesus Christ, and has
- 25:40given to us the [music] ministry of
- 25:42reconciliation."
- 25:44Do you see? To that God was in Christ
- 25:47reconciling the world into himself, unto
- 25:48himself, not inuting their trespasses
- 25:50unto them, and has committed unto us the
- 25:52word of reconciliation. Now God gives
- 25:55us, go back to verse [music] verse 17.
- 25:57If any man be in Christ, he's a new
- 25:59creation. Old things are part of behold
- 26:01all things have become new. Then he says
- 26:02[music] in verse 18, and all things are
- 26:06of God who has reconciled us to himself
- 26:08by Jesus Christ and has given to us the
- 26:11ministry of reconciliation. So
- 26:13immediately you get born again, God
- 26:15gives you a ministry, the ministry of
- 26:18reconciliation, the ministry of bringing
- 26:20others to him. I think a lighter version
- 26:21will help us. Can we read? I think the
- 26:23message version is nice. Look at let's
- 26:25look at the message version. [music]
- 26:26Verse 18. All this comes from the God
- 26:29who settled the relationship between us
- 26:30and him and then called us to settle our
- 26:33relationship with each other. No, that's
- 26:34not what he's saying. He's not trying to
- 26:35let us settle our relationship with each
- 26:36other. Let's look at is it easy English?
- 26:39Easy English. Show us easy English.
- 26:43All this is the work of God who because
- 26:45of Christ have has stopped being angry
- 26:48with us. By Christ we have becomes God's
- 26:50we have become God's friends instead of
- 26:53his enemies and he wants us to bring
- 26:55other people to be his friends also.
- 26:58This is the job that he has given to us.
- 27:00Can you imagine? Immediately you get
- 27:02born again God gives you a job.
- 27:05I mean it's like giving a job to a a a
- 27:09freshly born baby. As soon as you are
- 27:10born God says my friend you have a job
- 27:14to do. Immediately you get born again.
- 27:17It comes together. Our salvation comes
- 27:19together with our calling, with our
- 27:21ministry, with a job of bringing others.
- 27:24He wants us to bring other people to be
- 27:26his friends also. This is the job that
- 27:28he has given to us. So every child of
- 27:30God has this particular ministry or this
- 27:33job that God has given to us and it's
- 27:35given at the new birth. The immediately
- 27:38you get born again. So you've been born
- 27:40again for 6 months, you've not been
- 27:41doing and you've not been doing this
- 27:43job, you have been losing out on what
- 27:45you're supposed to do. If you've been
- 27:46born again for 10 years or 20 years, if
- 27:48you've not been doing this job, you have
- 27:49been losing out on what God wants you to
- 27:51do because it came with the calling. It
- 27:54came with the calling. All of us have
- 27:57been called. All of us have a ministry
- 27:59to fulfill. And there are a lot of
- 28:00verses that I'm going to show you along
- 28:02the same line. [music] Now, look at 2
- 28:04Timothy 1:9.
- 28:06Of course, I mean, on a normal day, you
- 28:07not give a child a responsibility, but
- 28:09God gives us responsibilities. [music]
- 28:11Immediately, we get born again. That's
- 28:12why I said it's almost as though God is
- 28:14there's so much urgency related [music]
- 28:16to what God wants done. He wants many
- 28:18people to reconcile to him or many
- 28:20people to become his friends and [music]
- 28:21become intimate with him and he depends
- 28:23on us to get that done. That is why he
- 28:25says all authority is given unto me. You
- 28:27go [music] therefore and make disciples
- 28:29of all nations. Now 2 Timothy chapter 1
- 28:32verse 9 says that God who has saved us
- 28:35and called us with an holy calling not
- 28:37according to our work. So God saves us.
- 28:39If you read in verse 8, you see God
- 28:41[music] is talking about. Go to verse 8.
- 28:43It says, "Be not be not thou therefore
- 28:44ashamed of the testimony of our Lord,
- 28:46nor of me his prisoner, [music] but be
- 28:49thou partaker of the afflictions of the
- 28:50gospel according to the power of God."
- 28:53Semicolon. So you can continue by saying
- 28:56God who has saved us. So his God is
- 28:58talking about God saved us. Then he
- 29:01says, "And he called us with an holy
- 29:03calling." We are saved and called with
- 29:06an holy calling. Then he says, "Not
- 29:07according to our works." This calling is
- 29:09not according to our works but according
- 29:11to his own purpose and grace which was
- 29:13given us in Christ Jesus before the
- 29:15world began. So your calling is before
- 29:17the world began. It is older than you
- 29:19than you. Your calling God called you
- 29:22way before you came. Yes. It's not
- 29:24today. You are now discovering it. If
- 29:26today's the day first time you getting
- 29:27to know about it, you are just making a
- 29:29new discovery. If you've known about
- 29:30[clears throat] it, you discovered this
- 29:31some time ago. You see, God has saved us
- 29:34and God has called us. We have a calling
- 29:37from the Lord and we we have to attend
- 29:41to it because there are rewards at
- 29:42stake. There are rewards at stake. Every
- 29:45child of God is called. Look at Romans
- 29:48chapter 1 [music] verse 5. Romans
- 29:50chapter 1 verse 5.
- 29:53He's talking about our Lord and Savior
- 29:55Jesus Christ. And he says, "By whom?"
- 29:57Maybe we should read from verse 4 so it
- 29:58can help us. Look at verse four. says,
- 30:00"And declare to be the son of God with
- 30:02power according to the spirit of
- 30:03holiness [music] by the resurrection
- 30:05from the dead." That's our Lord and
- 30:06Savior Jesus Christ. Then it says, "By
- 30:08Christ whom we have received grace and
- 30:12apostilhip for obedience to the faith
- 30:15among all nations for his name." By
- 30:18Jesus, we have received grace. [music]
- 30:20Grace is all that comes to us
- 30:22immediately. We get born again. You see,
- 30:24grace is God forgiving our sins when we
- 30:27don't we don't deserve it. Grace is God
- 30:30making us righteous when we don't
- 30:32deserve it. Grace is God giving us faith
- 30:34when we don't deserve it. Grace is God
- 30:36healing us when we don't deserve it.
- 30:38Grace is God [music] giving us health,
- 30:41blessings, prosperity, you know,
- 30:43stability, clearing us from condemnation
- 30:45and guilt when we don't deserve it. The
- 30:47Bible says that by grace are ye saved.
- 30:50So whenever grace is mentioned, it has
- 30:51to do with salvation. Our Lord and
- 30:52Savior Jesus Christ is the the one who
- 30:55brought in the grace [music] of God. So
- 30:57when you read in 2 Corinthians 13:14,
- 30:59the Bible talks about the grace of the
- 31:02Lord of the Lord Jesus Christ and the
- 31:03love of God and the coming of the Holy
- 31:05Ghost [music] be with you all. God is
- 31:07the one from whom all love comes from.
- 31:09For God so loved the world that he
- 31:11[music] gave his only begotten son.
- 31:13Love, God is love. God the father is
- 31:15love and love gives us [music] grace.
- 31:18That is the son. Jesus Christ is is the
- 31:21grace of God manifest in the earth. You
- 31:24see, [music] and the grace of God is for
- 31:26the purpose of bringing us salvation.
- 31:28Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8 [music]
- 31:30talks about by grace are you saved. Can
- 31:31you show it to us? For by grace are you
- 31:33saved through [music] faith and that not
- 31:36of yourselves. It is the gift of God.
- 31:38Verse 9, not of works lest any man
- 31:40should boast. So by grace we are saved.
- 31:43Now after we are saved by grace, he says
- 31:45that as soon as we saved by grace, we
- 31:47are also called and have an apostilhip.
- 31:50Apostilhip has to do with being sent to
- 31:52accomplish something. Go back to Romans
- 31:541:5. It says, "By whom we have received.
- 31:56By Jesus, we have received grace and
- 31:59also received apostilhip." For what
- 32:01purpose? For the purpose of obedience to
- 32:05the faith among all nations. [music] He
- 32:08wants all nations to obey the the the
- 32:12gospel. Okay?
- 32:16because of our apostilhip through our
- 32:18apostilhip by whom [music] we have
- 32:19received grace and apostilhip for
- 32:21obedience for the purpose of obedience
- 32:23to the faith. This is not the faith is
- 32:26in reference to what brings us
- 32:27salvation. He's not talking about there
- 32:29are two types of faith. There's the
- 32:30subjective faith and [music] then
- 32:32there's objective faith. You see the
- 32:34objective faith we have is the the the
- 32:37faith righteousness that comes by our
- 32:40believing in Jesus what Jesus did on the
- 32:42cross that he died and rose from the
- 32:44dead. You see when you declare that you
- 32:45become a child of God. That's what
- 32:47you're making many children of God.
- 32:49Obedience [music] to the faith among all
- 32:52nations for his name. Hallelujah.
- 32:55>> Hallelujah.
- 32:56>> So we are called. We are saved and we
- 32:59are called. Our salvation comes with a
- 33:03call and you can't you can't run away
- 33:05from it. There are children of God who
- 33:06want to run away from it. Who don't want
- 33:08to um do much for the Lord. sometimes
- 33:10because of ignorance and sometimes
- 33:12because of um a sheer a lack of you know
- 33:17interest. [music] But I believe that as
- 33:18we hear the word of God, God is going to
- 33:20empower us. We're going to be encouraged
- 33:22by God to do [music] what he wants us to
- 33:24do. The cell ministry affords you,
- 33:26allows you to respond to the call to the
- 33:28ministry that God has given to you and I
- 33:31to [music] fulfill. Now, let me show you
- 33:32some more. Ephesians 4:1.
- 33:36Ephesians 4:1. These verses show us that
- 33:39Christians are the ones who are called
- 33:40to do the work of the ministry. It says,
- 33:42"And [music] he gave some apostles and
- 33:44some prophets and some evangelists and
- 33:46some pastors and teachers for [music]
- 33:48what purpose?" For the for the purpose
- 33:49of perfecting the saints for the work of
- 33:52the ministry. You see, there's no comma
- 33:54between the saints [music] and for you.
- 33:56It is for the perfection of the saints
- 33:58for the work of the ministry. Okay? The
- 34:00saints are to be perfected by the
- 34:03apostles, pastors, prophets, teachers.
- 34:05Our job is to perfect you or raise you
- 34:07up or equip you. The word perfect is
- 34:09katismas and it means to equip someone
- 34:11[music] to give the necessary equipment
- 34:13to a particular person for his job. So
- 34:16the the pastor's job is to equip you.
- 34:19That's why we are teaching you to equip
- 34:20you with the word of God to equip you
- 34:22with the knowledge of God. You know our
- 34:24job is to [music] bring the knowledge of
- 34:25God to you for you to have understanding
- 34:28of what you're doing. It's always good
- 34:29to know what you're doing and understand
- 34:31what you're doing. Let me show you a
- 34:33verse in Jeremiah. And Jeremiah 3:15
- 34:36talks about how that I'll give you
- 34:37pastors after my own hearts who shall
- 34:40feed you. You see, who shall feed you
- 34:42with knowledge and understanding. So a
- 34:44pastor is sent by God to feed you with
- 34:47knowledge and understanding. To feed you
- 34:50with knowledge and with understanding.
- 34:51And that's what we do to bring you the
- 34:53knowledge of God's word, the
- 34:54understanding of God's word so that you
- 34:56can act on what God wants you to act on.
- 34:58And Ephesians chapter 4 verse 11 shows
- 35:02us clearly. Can you show us Ephesians 4
- 35:0411? It says, "And he gave some apostles,
- 35:06some pastors, some prophets, some
- 35:07prophets, some evangelists and some
- 35:09pastors and teachers for the perfecting
- 35:12of the saints, for the work of the
- 35:14ministry, for the edifying of the body
- 35:16of Christ." Can you show us the NLT? I'm
- 35:18sure it will help us. He says their
- 35:21responsibility is to equip God's people.
- 35:24You see, it's very clear. The
- 35:26responsibility of the pastors, prophets,
- 35:27teachers [music]
- 35:28is to equip God's people to do his work
- 35:31to do the gospel should do his work and
- 35:34build up the church, the body of Christ.
- 35:37Hallelujah.
- 35:38>> Hallelujah.
- 35:38>> Yes. That he wants us to equip God's
- 35:40people for God's people to do God's
- 35:43God's work. So never think that [music]
- 35:46um the responsibility of the ministry or
- 35:50the responsibility of evangelism, of
- 35:53disciplehip, of raising people, of
- 35:54[music] training people, of caring for
- 35:57the church is the responsibility of the
- 35:59pastor. No, it goes beyond that. [music]
- 36:02It goes beyond that. Our responsibility
- 36:05is to is to let is to raise you for you
- 36:08to do the work of the ministry. You know
- 36:11that thought you know is [music] from is
- 36:13from is not from is not from God. Let me
- 36:15show you some verses from the Bible
- 36:18in uh Revelations. [music] Can you show
- 36:21us Revelation chapter 2? Let me show it
- 36:24to you. You love this.
- 36:27Revelation chapter 2
- 36:34verse 6.
- 36:37Jesus is talking to the the church in
- 36:39Ephesus and he tells them that but this
- 36:42thou has that thou hatest the deeds of
- 36:45the Nikolitans which I also hate. Okay,
- 36:49thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolitans
- 36:51which I [music] also hate. Now when you
- 36:53go um all the way to same book, same
- 36:58chapter, but this time around um verse
- 37:0115, he says that so has thou also them
- 37:04that hold the doctrine of the Nikolitans
- 37:07which I hate. Okay, so in in the verse
- 37:11in verse [music] 6, we see uh we see it
- 37:14called the deeds of the Nicolitans. And
- 37:17then in verse um [music]
- 37:20verse 15 we see it called the doctrine
- 37:23of the nicolitans. So Jesus says I hate
- 37:26this particular thing. He says I hate
- 37:27which I which thing I hate. In both
- 37:29verses says I hate it. I hate it. I what
- 37:31is he talking about? What is
- 37:32Nicolitanism? We call it Nicolitanism.
- 37:34Nicolitanalism is [music] having the
- 37:37lady, okay, exalted above the the the
- 37:42the ordinary people, the the people who
- 37:44who are the clergy exalted above the
- 37:46lady, okay, exalting the clergy above
- 37:49the lady. When the clergy [music] when
- 37:51the pastors, okay, put themselves in a
- 37:54place that makes them look like they are
- 37:57they are the ones called to do the work
- 37:58of the ministry and [music] every other
- 38:01person should go and do every other
- 38:02thing. You can work anywhere else in the
- 38:04world. Go and get the money and bring it
- 38:06to the church. We will preach. We will
- 38:08do the work of the ministry. We will do
- 38:10um um um the work of God. You don't have
- 38:14to do anything. You should go and make
- 38:16money and come to bring the money to the
- 38:18church. We the pastors will do the work
- 38:20of the ministry. The Bible calls it
- 38:22Nicolitanism. It's from two words.
- 38:24Nicholas Laos. Okay. Nicholas has with
- 38:26being exalt exalted above the lady.
- 38:29Exalted above the ordinary people.
- 38:31>> [music]
- 38:31>> That's what he's talking about. You can
- 38:33check it in the in the in the Greek and
- 38:34you see it to be exalt to exalt yourself
- 38:37above the lady to conquer the people.
- 38:39God doesn't want that. Jesus says I hate
- 38:41it. Which thing I hate? [music] Which
- 38:44thing I hate. I don't know if you're
- 38:45seeing it. Which thing I hate? Which I
- 38:49[music] also hate. Then this one says
- 38:50which thing I hate. Jesus doesn't like
- 38:52it. He because that is not the way for
- 38:54things to be done. The body of Christ is
- 38:57the one that is supposed to accomplish
- 38:59God's [music] work. Jesus is the head of
- 39:01the body. It's all over in the Bible.
- 39:03When you read in Ephesians um [music]
- 39:05chapter chapter 1 verse 22, look
- 39:08Ephesians 1:22, it talks about Jesus
- 39:10being the head and we being the body.
- 39:12And he has put all things under his feet
- 39:14and gave [music] him to be the head over
- 39:15all things to the church. You see next
- 39:18verse then it says the church is his
- 39:20body, the fullness of him that fillth
- 39:22all and in all. So Jesus is the head and
- 39:25we are the body. Do you see [music] 1
- 39:28Corinthians 12 27 I always like to give
- 39:31a lot of scriptures so that [music] you
- 39:32can understand what he's saying. He says
- 39:34now we are the body of Christ and
- 39:36members in particular. All of us are the
- 39:38body of Christ. Then he says we are
- 39:40members [music] in particular. Do you
- 39:42see? So if the head which is Jesus is
- 39:46saying let's say your head is trying to
- 39:48tell [music] you it's time to use the
- 39:50bathroom. It's time to use the bathroom
- 39:52right now. And then your legs decide
- 39:54that we are not moving. We ain't moving.
- 39:56Your legs decide that we are not going
- 39:57anywhere. We enjoying the message so
- 39:59much. Let us sit down and enjoy the
- 40:01message. [music] And then your your your
- 40:03your bladder says that hey please we
- 40:06can't hold it anymore. And your legs
- 40:07decide that no we are not moving. The
- 40:10head
- 40:11must have the body relate and respond to
- 40:14what is it saying what it is demanding.
- 40:18You see and our Lord and Savior Jesus
- 40:20Christ [music] is our head. I'm going to
- 40:22talk about it very soon. He's our head
- 40:24and we are his body and the body must
- 40:27respond to whatever the head is saying
- 40:29in order to get things accomplished.
- 40:31Jesus who is the head of the church has
- 40:34accomplished his when you read in in in
- 40:36the in in the gospels you see how Jesus
- 40:38when he rose from the dead untied the
- 40:41napkin that was around his head and
- 40:43folded it nicely and placed it down and
- 40:45then he evaporated out of the cast.
- 40:47Remember they put a cast around him.
- 40:49They put some uh they put some emb they
- 40:51embalmed the body. They wrapped it in
- 40:53lining cloth. You see? And he was laying
- 40:56laying down in in the in the lining
- 40:57cloth. But when he rose from the dead,
- 41:00John and Peter went to see and they
- 41:02noticed that I think it's John who
- 41:03mentioned John. John and Peter noticed
- 41:05that the there was a napkin that was the
- 41:07napkin that was around his head was
- 41:08folded nicely and placed on on the on
- 41:11the on on one part of the the the where
- 41:14he was laid and his he had come out the
- 41:16rest of the body was lying down in the
- 41:19cast. What Jesus was trying to say was
- 41:20that as a head he's finished his work.
- 41:22>> Now the body we as the body must also
- 41:24finish our work. We must also unwrap
- 41:27what we have to do. Hallelujah.
- 41:29>> Hallelujah.
- 41:30>> Can you help us find that verse? John
- 41:3220:5 it says and verse 7. Now can we
- 41:35read from verse 5? I think it will be
- 41:36nice. He says and he and he stooping
- 41:38down and looking in saw the lining
- 41:40closed lining lying yet went he not in.
- 41:43Verse six. Then coming some Peter
- 41:45following him and went into the sea and
- 41:47see the lining clothes line. Next verse.
- 41:50And the napkin that was about his head,
- 41:52not lying with the lining clothes, but
- 41:54wrapped together in a place by itself.
- 41:56So he wrapped the napkin that was on his
- 41:58head by itself. And then the rest of the
- 42:00the the the thing was lying down
- 42:02together. He evaporated out of the cast
- 42:05and left it so that we you and I who had
- 42:07this body will do the unwrapping. The
- 42:10the rest of the unwrapping that is left.
- 42:12Paul talks about the works that are left
- 42:14for us to do in the body of Christ. Let
- 42:17me show it to you. Colossians chapter 1
- 42:20verse 24
- 42:24Paul says I now rejoice in my sufferings
- 42:26for you and I fill up that which is
- 42:28behind of the afflictions of Christ in
- 42:31my flesh for his body's sake which is
- 42:33the church can we read other versions
- 42:35Paul was rejoicing for ses I'm glad when
- 42:37I suffer for you in my body for I am
- 42:39participating in the sufferings of
- 42:40Christ that continue for his body the
- 42:42church you see there are sufferings that
- 42:44are left for us to go through Jesus did
- 42:46his part he wants us to go through our
- 42:47part
- 42:49in fulfilling the ministry. There's
- 42:51something only you can do. They are your
- 42:54neighbor can do it. You are the one that
- 42:56God has called and God has designated to
- 42:59accomplish a particular purpose. There
- 43:02are some people who never be in the
- 43:03house of God if they don't hear your
- 43:05voice. And God is going to ask you one
- 43:07of these days. Wow.
- 43:10So, it's it's something that we we we
- 43:14have to get involved in. Okay. And the
- 43:17cell ministry gives us the opportunity
- 43:20to fulfill the ministry of
- 43:22reconciliation, the ministry of bringing
- 43:25making disciples of the nations, [music]
- 43:28you know, to be done practically.
- 43:31Remember I said that Jesus is our head.
- 43:33If you read in Jude 1:4, I want to
- 43:36explain it some more to you. Juke 1:4
- 43:39he says, "For there are certain men
- 43:41crept in on ours who were before of old
- 43:43ordained to this condemnation, ungodly
- 43:46men, turning the grace of our God unto
- 43:48lasciviousness, and denying the only
- 43:51Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ." You
- 43:54see, he says, "And denying the only Lord
- 43:57God." Actually, the word end is supposed
- 44:00to be translated [music] even. It can be
- 44:02translated as even. Kai, the Greek word
- 44:04is kai can be end or even. in this
- 44:07particular verse supposed to be even.
- 44:08Okay. So it says and denying the Lord
- 44:10the only Lord God even our Lord Jesus
- 44:13Christ. The Lord God is our Lord and
- 44:14Savior Jesus Christ. So denying the only
- 44:17Lord God even our Lord Jesus Christ. The
- 44:20amazing thing is that the word Lord the
- 44:22first Lord and the second Lord are not
- 44:24the same.
- 44:25>> The first Lord is the Greek word
- 44:26despotus. D E S P O T E S. [music]
- 44:30Despotus. And the second word Lord is
- 44:32curious. K U R I O U S. curious. Okay,
- 44:37desperatus and curious, they are two
- 44:38different things altogether. Let me
- 44:40explain it [music] to you. The word
- 44:42curious, that's the second one. Even our
- 44:45Lord Jesus Christ has to do with when
- 44:47you make Jesus Christ the Lord of your
- 44:49life. In Romans 10:9, the Bible should
- 44:52look at Romans 10:9. He says that if
- 44:54thou shall confess with thy mouth the
- 44:56Lord Jesus, this has to do the word Lord
- 44:58here is curious making Jesus the Lord of
- 45:01your life, the owner of your life. You
- 45:03see, and shall believe in thine heart
- 45:05that God has raised him from the dead,
- 45:07thou shalt be saved. This is when you
- 45:08become a child of God, you become a son.
- 45:11Okay? You become a child of God, you
- 45:13become a son. Apart from being children
- 45:15of God and being sons of God, there's
- 45:17also having Jesus become your boss. M
- 45:20>> so the other word desperatis has to do
- 45:22with someone who is your boss your
- 45:25someone who tells you what to do someone
- 45:27who has is like you are that's the
- 45:29administrative part of God's kingdom
- 45:31okay the the work aspect of God's
- 45:34kingdom the servantthood aspect of God's
- 45:36kingdom so even though we are sons and
- 45:39daughters [music] of God we are also
- 45:41servants of God and there are many
- 45:43scriptures that shows us things that
- 45:45comes along the lines of our sunship and
- 45:47things that comes along the lines of our
- 45:49servantthood
- 45:50We are we are servant sons. That's what
- 45:52we have become. And we you shouldn't be
- 45:54a Christian who who only functions as a
- 45:56son or a daughter of of God. Normally we
- 45:59the Bible calls us sons. They are no
- 46:01daughters of God. Is [music] sons of
- 46:03God. We are all male sons or female sons
- 46:06or we are male brides and female [music]
- 46:08brides.
- 46:09>> Hallelujah.
- 46:11>> Jesus God is our father and then we are
- 46:13all sons. If you read in um third John
- 46:16uh sorry 1 John 3:1 it says behold what
- 46:18what manner of love the father has
- 46:20bestowed upon [music] us that we should
- 46:21be called the sons of god all of us
- 46:23should be called the sons of god
- 46:24therefore the world knoweth us not
- 46:26because it knew him not then verse two
- 46:28says beloved now are we the sons of god
- 46:30and it does not yet appear what you
- 46:32shall be so this has to do with being
- 46:34becoming a son becoming a child of god
- 46:37do you see when you get born again you
- 46:39become a son you become a child of god
- 46:41and what that means is that you are
- 46:43accepted Ed, you are loved. God has
- 46:47become your father and you have become
- 46:49his child. You are accepted. You are
- 46:51loved by God. In fact, Jesus came on the
- 46:53air to come and introduce us to the
- 46:55fatherhood of God. [music] If you read
- 46:56in John 17 23, you see Jesus talking
- 46:59about how that he wants all of us to
- 47:01know that God loves us as much as he
- 47:03loves him. I in them. John 17:23.
- 47:05[music]
- 47:07I in them and thou in me. That they may
- 47:08be made perfect in one. And that the
- 47:10world may know that thou has sent me and
- 47:13has loved them as thou has loved me. You
- 47:16see, Jesus wants you to know how much
- 47:19the world to know how much God loves
- 47:21you. God loves you as a son, you see, or
- 47:24as a daughter as much as he is the same
- 47:27love he has for Jesus is the same love
- 47:29he has for you and I.
- 47:31>> Look at verse 26. It's an amazing thing.
- 47:33Verse 26, John 17:26, [music] it says,
- 47:36"And I have declared unto them thy name,
- 47:38and who declared that the love wherewith
- 47:40thou has loved me may be [music] in
- 47:42them, and I in them." Which name is
- 47:45that? The name Father. If you read, go
- 47:47to go to verse 11. It's it's an amazing
- 47:48thing. John 17:1, Jesus says, "And now I
- 47:52am no more in the world, but these are
- 47:53in the world, and I come to thee." Holy
- 47:55Father, keep through thine own name
- 47:56those whom thou has given me that they
- 47:58may be one as we are one. Holy father.
- 48:01The the name he's talking about is
- 48:03father. Jesus came to introduce God as
- 48:05father to us. And he says he wants the
- 48:07whole world to know that the father
- 48:08loves us as much as he loves he loved
- 48:11Jesus. Do you see? So it's very we are
- 48:14now sons of god. Remember I said we are
- 48:17either son male sons or female sons and
- 48:20we accepted that means that we accepted
- 48:22before God. We are loved. God enjoys our
- 48:25presence.
- 48:26>> God enjoys our company. In fact, God is
- 48:29always looking forward to hearing your
- 48:30voice
- 48:31>> every single day. That's how much God
- 48:32loves you.
- 48:34>> Let me show you some more. Go to John
- 48:35chapter 16 verse 23. No, verse 26.
- 48:42Jesus says, "At that day you shall ask
- 48:44in my name, and I will I say not unto
- 48:46you that I'll pray the father for you."
- 48:49Verse 27, "For the father himself loveth
- 48:52you."
- 48:52>> Hallelujah.
- 48:53>> Because you have loved me and have
- 48:54believed that I came out from God. The
- 48:56father himself loveth he says you will
- 48:58not ask me but you shall ask the father
- 49:00because the father loves you as much as
- 49:02he loves me. So the way Jesus the Jesus
- 49:04occupied the place of the son the way he
- 49:06could ask for god to do something is the
- 49:09same way you can ask for god to do
- 49:11something because we are now in some
- 49:12place we are now in the place of
- 49:14sunship. Do you see we are in the place
- 49:16of sunship we accepted we are seated
- 49:18together in heavenly places in Christ
- 49:20Jesus. We are accepted in the beloved
- 49:23and hence accepted as the beloved. Now
- 49:26can you show me Ephesians chapter 1 and
- 49:28verse 6
- 49:30as sons we accepted there's no problem
- 49:32it says to the praise of the glory of
- 49:34his grace wherein he has made us
- 49:35accepted in the beloved the one who
- 49:37accepted in the beloved is accepted as
- 49:39the beloved
- 49:41>> we accepted as the beloved we accepted
- 49:43like Jesus is accepted that's the place
- 49:45God has brought us to that was God's aim
- 49:47before the foundations of the earth to
- 49:49bring us to that place of sunship so as
- 49:51sons we have no blame go to verse four
- 49:54Ephesians chapter 1:4
- 49:55He says according as he has showing us
- 49:57in him before the foundation of the
- 49:58world that we should be holy and without
- 50:01blame before before him in love. [music]
- 50:04You see be he says we are we are to be
- 50:06holy. He has he has actually this is
- 50:08something he has done. He has presented
- 50:10us to him himself [music]
- 50:11holy and without blame before him in
- 50:14love. It's an amaz
- 50:19This has been God's aim since time
- 50:20[music] immemorial. Okay. It says, "For
- 50:22he chose us in him before the creation
- 50:24of the world to be holy and blameless in
- 50:26his sight." Then you see that there's a
- 50:29full stop. The in love is supposed to be
- 50:31part of verse 5, not verse four. So
- 50:33there's a full stop. Then you have in
- 50:36love. Go to verse five. He predestined
- 50:39us to be adopted as his sons.
- 50:41>> Hallelujah.
- 50:42>> Through Jesus Christ in accordance with
- 50:45his with his pleasure and will. So this
- 50:48is this was the greatest pleasure of
- 50:49God. The greatest pleasure of God was to
- 50:51bring us into the place of sunship.
- 50:54Okay, which is this place of Jesus
- 50:55Christ. So now we are seated together
- 50:57with him in Christ. It's an amazing
- 51:00thing. And hence we are accepted.
- 51:02There's no blame that God does not that
- 51:05God is not going to condemn you in any
- 51:06way. You accepted your path to heaven
- 51:09has been secured already. Your place in
- 51:11heaven has been secured already by the
- 51:13sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
- 51:16Jesus's blood is good enough. It has
- 51:18separated you from all sin and taken you
- 51:21changed you from the place moved you
- 51:23from the place of darkness into the
- 51:25place of his dear son.
- 51:26>> Hallelujah.
- 51:27>> Colossians chapter 1 verse 12. Look at
- 51:30Colossians 1:12. It says giving thanks
- 51:32unto the father which has made us
- 51:33partakers. It means to be partakers of
- 51:35the inheritance of the saints in light.
- 51:37Then he says in verse 13, who has
- 51:39delivered us from the is not going to
- 51:41deliver us. He says he has delivered us
- 51:43from the power of darkness. So you have
- 51:45been taken from the power of darkness,
- 51:46from the power of Satan and has
- 51:48translated us into the kingdom of his
- 51:49dear son. Now we are in the kingdom of
- 51:51his dear son and we accepted as sons,
- 51:54male sons, female sons and therefore
- 51:57there's no blame before we are not we
- 52:00have no blame before him. We accepted in
- 52:02the beloved and hence accepted as the
- 52:05beloved.
- 52:07This is when Jesus is made the curious
- 52:09of your life. When you make Jesus the
- 52:11Lord of your life, you become a son.
- 52:14But there's another aspect where when
- 52:17you you you you begin to acknowledge
- 52:19Jesus as your boss and accept him as
- 52:22your boss. You see the one I read to you
- 52:23in Jude 1:4 has to do with people
- 52:25denying. You see, he says [music] and
- 52:28denying the Lord, the only Lord God and
- 52:31our Lord Jesus Christ. You see the the
- 52:33word the word Lord, the first word Lord
- 52:35there is desperatus. [music] He says
- 52:36they are denying the desperatus of God,
- 52:38the rulership of of our Lord and Savior
- 52:40Jesus Christ. Do you see [music] his his
- 52:43influence as their boss? God has a work
- 52:46to be done. Jesus wants the whole world
- 52:48saved. God has a will. He wills that all
- 52:50men be saved and come to knowledge of
- 52:51the truth. And he has called you and I
- 52:54to get it done. Yet there are Christians
- 52:56who deny.
- 52:57They deny the Lord. So when it comes to
- 53:01that place
- 53:03of God, of Jesus as our desperatus, as
- 53:06our boss, you can be found with blame.
- 53:10So Paul talks about about it in 1
- 53:12Corinthians chapter 9 from verse 24.
- 53:14You'd be surprised. We must always divi
- 53:17rightly divide the word of truth. He
- 53:18says, "Know you not that they which run
- 53:20in a race run all, but one receiveth a
- 53:22prize. So run that you may obtain and
- 53:25every man that striketh for the mastery
- 53:27is temperate in all things. Now they do
- 53:29it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we
- 53:31are incorruptible. So there's a crown
- 53:33waiting for you. I therefore so run not
- 53:36as uncertainly so fight I not as one
- 53:38that beat the air but I keep under my
- 53:41body and subject and bring it into
- 53:43subjection lest that by any means when I
- 53:46are preached to others I myself should
- 53:48be a cast away. So Paul was concerned
- 53:51that he was going to become a cast away.
- 53:54Do you see? But not as a not as a not
- 53:56cast away as a Christian as a child of
- 53:58God but cast away as a servant of God.
- 54:03Do you see? We are we are sons but as
- 54:06servants sons are accepted. We accepted
- 54:08but as as servants you can be declared
- 54:11unfit. The word cast away is adukimos to
- 54:13be to be declared as unfit to inherit
- 54:16your crown. There's a crown that is wait
- 54:17there are crowns waiting for us.
- 54:19>> There are crowns waiting for us and you
- 54:21can either be accepted before the lord
- 54:23or not accepted before the lord. In
- 54:26revelations Jesus talks about how that
- 54:27we should. He says be careful hold fast
- 54:29unless someone takes away your crown.
- 54:32You don't want anyone taking your
- 54:33account. You see, look at Revelation 22
- 54:36um verse 12. Revelations 22:12.
- 54:39>> Jesus says, "Behold, I come quickly and
- 54:41my reward is with me to give every man
- 54:44according as his work shall be." So
- 54:47there's the aspect. You see, sunship
- 54:49comes by grace. Rewards comes by your
- 54:51work in Christ. You see your as a son,
- 54:55you accepted, but as a servant, there
- 54:57are there are rewards that the Lord is
- 54:59waiting to [music] give to you. You see,
- 55:01as a son, there's even sunship
- 55:02inheritance. As a son, you have an
- 55:05inheritance by the grace of God. So
- 55:07that's what we are talking about. Let me
- 55:08show you those verses. Okay? As a son,
- 55:10so as a son, you accepted, but as a
- 55:12servant, you can be rejected. You can be
- 55:14declared unfit.
- 55:16You can be declared unfit because you
- 55:18did not fulfill your ministry because
- 55:19you didn't do what your boss wanted to
- 55:21be done here on. That's why you cannot
- 55:24live for yourself. Paul said in 2
- 55:26Corinthians chapter 5:4, [music]
- 55:28look at 2 Corinthians 5:4. It's an
- 55:30amazing thing. A lot of Christians don't
- 55:31know this. You see, there's something
- 55:33called the bema seek judgment. And it
- 55:35has to do with being judged to receive
- 55:36rewards. For the love of Christ
- 55:38constrained us. [music] 2 Corinthians
- 55:405:14. For the love of Christ constrained
- 55:42us because we that if one died for all,
- 55:45then we're all dead. And that he died
- 55:47for that they which live should not
- 55:50henceforth live unto themselves. This is
- 55:52to every child of God. He says we should
- 55:53not hencefor live unto ourselves, but
- 55:55unto him which died for them and and
- 55:57rose again. We must learn to live for
- 56:00our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You
- 56:02cannot live for yourself any longer.
- 56:03This is your opportunity to fulfill the
- 56:05ministry that God has given to you. The
- 56:07ministry of reconciling others, the
- 56:09ministry of raising others, the ministry
- 56:11of shephering others, the ministry of
- 56:12discipling others. This is your
- 56:14opportunity. Don't joke with it because
- 56:16there are rewards that are waiting for
- 56:18you out there. As a son, you have an
- 56:20inheritance. Let me show it to you. Um
- 56:22Romans chapter 8 verse1 17 it says and
- 56:26if children then hes of God and joint
- 56:30hes with Christ. Have you seen it?
- 56:32>> Yeah.
- 56:32>> And if children then hes of God and
- 56:35joint hes with Christ. Then he even
- 56:36qualifies this one. He says if so be
- 56:38that we suffer with him that we may be
- 56:40also we may be also glorified together.
- 56:42>> You see? So even though this is sunship
- 56:44inheritance he's saying that those who
- 56:45suffer with him will be glorified with
- 56:47him. There's something extra. Then in
- 56:49Galatians 4 6. Look at Galatians 4:6.
- 56:56He says, "And because you are sons, God
- 56:58has sent forth the spirit of a son into
- 57:00your hearts, crying, aba, father."
- 57:02>> Hallelujah.
- 57:03>> Oh, hallelujah.
- 57:03>> Hallelujah.
- 57:04>> Then the next verse 7 says, verse 7, he
- 57:06says that wherefore thou art no more a
- 57:08servant, but a serv
- 57:11than an heir of God through Christ. So
- 57:13we are hes of God. We are joint hes
- 57:15together with Christ. All this is on the
- 57:17side of sunship. [music]
- 57:19Then on the side of of servantship or
- 57:22servantthood, there's also another set
- 57:24of rewards altogether.
- 57:26>> Alltogether. And that has to do with
- 57:28what you [music] are doing. Go to
- 57:30Colossians chapter 3 23.
- 57:32>> Colossians 3 [music] 23 says, "And
- 57:34whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to
- 57:37the Lord and not unto men." Verse 24.
- 57:40Then [music] it says, "Knowing that of
- 57:41the Lord, you shall receive the reward
