47. 1:36it really is favoring the big sort of
48. 1:39media conglomerates that's what we're
49. 1:40dealing with and something else here

51. 1:43to understand is YouTube built their
52. 1:45entire platform off the backs of
53. 1:46original content creators so when we
54. 1:48started on YouTube my brother actually
55. 1:49was one of the first original partners
56. 1:51in 2006 they don't have a lot of
57. 1:54competition Glenn there was I think
58. 1:56lively core a bunch of other websites
59. 1:57now what did YouTube do this is before
60. 1:59they were purchased from Google they
61. 2:00said you know what we know that we we
62. 2:03know that you have many other options
63. 2:04thank you for flying Qantas they said we
64. 2:06know that you have other options when it
65. 2:07comes to uploading your video content
66. 2:09we've never created original content
67. 2:11this is entirely user based so here's
68. 2:13what we'll do
69. 2:13if you promise us that you'll upload
70. 2:15your content to YouTube we're going to
71. 2:17share the revenue with you and what did
72. 2:19that do that eliminated all competition
73. 2:21because YouTube was the only place that
74. 2:22would do revenue split great free market
75. 2:25then when they grow big enough an NBC
76. 2:28Universal or Disney comes in and wants
77. 2:30to take advantage of this platform they
78. 2:32pull the rug out from under the people
79. 2:34who have built the platform come to us
80. 2:36we'll pay you that's how they beat the
81. 2:38competition then they say all right
82. 2:40we're no longer gonna pay you and we're
83. 2:42going to ban you you courted our
84. 2:43business you told us this is where you
85. 2:46wanted us and now you're giving us the
86. 2:48boot without giving us any rules without
87. 2:51giving us any clear guidelines it's
88. 2:52dishonest business practices it's that's
89. 2:55what's going on here you know it's the
90. 2:56same way though I mean Facebook is a
91. 2:58company that has never received more
92. 3:00free advertising I don't think of a know
93. 3:02of another company that has received as
94. 3:04much free advertising and when Facebook
95. 3:07first started the deal was and they
96. 3:09would ask us they courted courted us
97. 3:12they would they would fly into our
98. 3:13offices and say hey here's how you do it
99. 3:16here's how we can help you blah blah
100. 3:18blah blah blah let's build a community
101. 3:20help us build this community it's a
102. 3:22direct relationship with you and your
103. 3:25listeners and your viewers who is
104. 3:27fantastic that's great now I can't even
105. 3:31get to the millions of people who went
106. 3:34and said I want Glenn Beck's opinion
107. 3:37I want his posts I can't do I can't get
108. 3:41to them their money only from them I
109. 3:44know what they're banning you from your
110. 3:46fans these are people who are protesting
111. 3:48what he's saying no we can't allow that
112. 3:52to happen why is that Zuckerberg must

160. 5:33Tucker Carlson a white supremacist they
161. 5:35consider Nigel Farage a white
162. 5:37supremacist right they said you know
163. 5:38we've purged thousands of videos keep in
164. 5:40mind that at least a thousand of those
165. 5:42videos are this guy's so when you read
166. 5:44about the thousands of videos purged
167. 5:46under white supremacist label and
168. 5:47there's no delineation I'm one of those
169. 5:49notorious pro-israel white supremacist
170. 5:51with with a biracial producer that's
171. 5:53meet with the Klan on Sundays it really
172. 5:56is remarkable but now the thing is
173. 5:59they've used he's got they've now
174. 6:01started completely booting history
175. 6:03channels that simply cover historical by
176. 6:05putting news channels many of which are
177. 6:07left that simply cover right issues and
178. 6:09a lot of these people are now pushing
179. 6:11that this is the first time I will say
180. 6:13this Clinton the vaad vaad the Vox ad
181. 6:15pocalypse was trending all night last
182. 6:17night and the backlash from not
183. 6:19conservatives but from the entire
184. 6:21entertainment and YouTube creator
185. 6:23community this is the first time this
186. 6:25has happened
187. 6:26where they've banded together was so
188. 6:27much worse than an angry gentleman and
189. 6:31scholar of Latino origin who happens to
190. 6:33be attracted the same sex versus braving
191. 6:34beautiful it Vox the backlash was so
192. 6:36much worse from every eye
193. 6:39want you to get put on borderline here

195. 6:42appreciate it it's so much worse than
196. 6:45they anticipated just coming from Media
197. 6:47Matters that I think now they're going
198. 6:48have to readjust or they know that they
199. 6:51are going to hemorrhage hemorrhage users
200. 6:53and for people out there you need to
201. 6:55understand this YouTube their currency
202. 6:57is there their users our currency is
203. 6:59their viewer okay and their currency is
204. 7:01only as valuable as the trust that the
205. 7:03viewer has in the platform and right now
206. 7:07that Trust is degrading very quickly and
207. 7:10I don't think they anticipated it this
208. 7:11got one let me one more point this is
209. 7:13hysterical to me quickly the Vox guy
210. 7:15said YouTube was supposed to be a queer
211. 7:17space what two percent fewer clear by
212. 7:21the way not made hate speech if I said
213. 7:22Nords queer space that's two percent of
214. 7:24population earth fifty percent of
215. 7:26population earth is conservative and if
216. 7:28you look at people who don't believe the
217. 7:29conservative should be milkshake tour
218. 7:30band you're probably looking at seven
219. 7:31five for everyone so if YouTube
220. 7:37capitulates here it's not about YouTube
221. 7:39siding with the left it's about them
222. 7:40siding with the two percent versus the
223. 7:4398 percent we need to keep that
