  1. 0:00I don't even know what I'm saying like
  2. 0:02snip it together because I'm like
  3. 0:05stuttering over my words here so we are
  4. 0:07coming down to the wire and if you're
  5. 0:10like me you might procrastinate on some
  6. 0:12things sometimes lots of times and if
  7. 0:16that procrastination comes down to
  8. 0:17things like gift giving especially if
  9. 0:20your heart's not into it or you just
  10. 0:22don't feel like you've been inspired
  11. 0:23because there's been a lot on your mind
  12. 0:25lately it's totally fine I am here to
  13. 0:27help you with some last minute gift
  14. 0:29ideas so we're just gonna Breeze right
  15. 0:31through this some of this is gonna
  16. 0:32overlap some of the ideas that I talked
  17. 0:34about a few videos ago but today we're
  18. 0:36talking about gift giving and our first
  19. 0:38thing is bulk items bulk gift giving if
  20. 0:42you don't have any inspiration one of
  21. 0:44the best things you can do is narrow
  22. 0:45down one or two or a few items that you
  23. 0:48feel like add tons of value tons of joy
  24. 0:50and give that same item to multiple
  25. 0:53people it's completely okay this can be
  26. 0:55your favorite book your favorite treats
  27. 0:58something that you make or even a
  28. 0:59favorite a tool like a pair of Cutco
  29. 1:01scissors I'm never gonna forget those
  30. 1:03Cutco scissors Mark cardena those are my
  31. 1:06friends who gifted them to me twice in a
  32. 1:08row the second time I was totally stoked
  33. 1:10out of my mind I still have both pairs
  34. 1:12Cutco scissors are amazing so if you can
  35. 1:14think of an amazing gift like that that
  36. 1:15you can give to people it doesn't have
  37. 1:16to be anything super fancy or super
  38. 1:18unique it's just an amazing thing to
  39. 1:20share number two make it something
  40. 1:23simple and easy whether it is your
  41. 1:25favorite treats body salts candles some
  42. 1:28kind of thoughtful art or poem this is a
  43. 1:30great way to get you time get some
  44. 1:32mindful space and then create something
  45. 1:34unique and special if you like gifting
  46. 1:36experiences getting online to shop for
  47. 1:39these items is some of the most
  48. 1:40efficient ways to get gifts whether it
  49. 1:42is dinner gift cards or Groupons tickets
  50. 1:46events I love gifting experiences and
  51. 1:49people love experiencing them so this is
  52. 1:51one of my favorite gift giving ideas any
  53. 1:53type of plants is a really good idea
  54. 1:55especially if those plants last longer
  55. 1:57than a week and no I'm not just saying
  56. 1:58this because gardening is my hobby but
  57. 2:00plants are a great addition to the house
  58. 2:03they uplift the room clean the air and
  59. 2:05it could be any kind of plants from a
  60. 2:07decorative plant to flowers and a small
  61. 2:09herbal plant or even a fruit bearing
  62. 2:11plant if people have space in their home
  63. 2:13or on their patio or even in their
  64. 2:15Garden this is a really special thing to
  65. 2:17share another online idea that you can
  66. 2:19do and I love this because what you buy
  67. 2:21looks so pretty you don't have to gift
  68. 2:23wrap it and most of the time delivery to
  69. 2:26the front door is available they're
  70. 2:28small services like self-care Services
  71. 2:31they come in these little kits they come
  72. 2:33with little bath salts candles essential
  73. 2:35oils or things like Edible Arrangement
  74. 2:38or Henry and David Harry and David sorry
  75. 2:42I messed that up I use these Services
  76. 2:43all the time none of these are sponsored
  77. 2:45but these are awesome little gift
  78. 2:47baskets that people love receiving them
  79. 2:50myself included even though I give them
  80. 2:52I love getting this stuff because it is
  81. 2:55just an amazing treat it doesn't clutter
  82. 2:57my space it is like kind of fancy see in
  83. 3:00a sense unique but I just really enjoy
  84. 3:02it and those are the times that I really
  85. 3:03indulge you know those chocolate dipped
  86. 3:05fruits or some wine and cheese pick your
  87. 3:07poison so to speak but these are awesome
  88. 3:10gifts in my opinion and I absolutely
  89. 3:12enjoy sending them out last but not
  90. 3:14least quality time nothing beats
  91. 3:17presence and attention and you'll know
  92. 3:20this when somebody actually gives you
  93. 3:21real presence and attention if you have
  94. 3:24that time and don't want to go out
  95. 3:26shopping for a gift don't have any ideas
  96. 3:28one of the best things you can do is
  97. 3:29give somebody a legitimate phone call
  98. 3:31ask them for tea slash coffee if you can
  99. 3:34drink coffee or dinner and then take the
  100. 3:36time to sit down and truly listen most
  101. 3:39of the time people have their own
  102. 3:40agendas nowadays they want to share
  103. 3:42what's going on with their life and
  104. 3:43what's exciting to them and what
  105. 3:44interests them and if you take the time
  106. 3:46to really sit and listen with full
  107. 3:48attention and presence that gift is a
  108. 3:51rarity these days and it's really one of
  109. 3:53my favorite gifts in the world in fact
  110. 3:55we have birthday Traditions here in the
  111. 3:56family where all we do for the person's
  112. 3:58birthday is give them full full presence
  113. 4:00whether it's helping them clean their
  114. 4:02house going out and hitting some golf
  115. 4:03balls or having dinner together we give
  116. 4:05that person 100 quality attention and
  117. 4:08presence and regardless of whether or
  118. 4:10not that's a dedicated gift that's
  119. 4:12something that you can give to yourself
  120. 4:13as well as your family and friends this
  121. 4:16season and hopefully through the New
  122. 4:18Year it's a great practice to have and
  123. 4:20this is a great reminder that gift
  124. 4:22giving doesn't necessarily have to come
  125. 4:24down to giving a physical material item
  126. 4:27it doesn't have to come down to leaning
  127. 4:29into consumerism and supporting the idea
  128. 4:31of having to spend money and clutter our
  129. 4:33homes we can really focus on the things
  130. 4:35that we value the most lean into those
  131. 4:38things and then pay those things forward
  132. 4:39this creates better experiences better
  133. 4:41relationships for yourself for the
  134. 4:43people in your life and for the rest of
  135. 4:45the world so I thank you all for being
