- 0:18cheated now coming back to haunt him. I
- 0:21have the
- 0:22cynics and this and the skeptics. I'm
- 0:26sorry for you. I'm sorry you can't dream
- 0:28big and I'm sorry you don't believe in
- 0:29miracles. Even under oath can't be any
- 0:32clearer than I've never taken drugs.
- 0:41Many eyes will be on cyclist Lance
- 0:43Armstrong, who will sit down with Oprah
- 0:44in the coming week on a campaign to
- 0:46rehabilitate his reputation. Tonight,
- 0:48ABC's Mark Greenblat asks, "How much can
- 0:50Armstrong really say without having to
- 0:53pay up later?"
- 0:57In his last interview with Oprah nearly
- 0:59two years ago, Lance Armstrong got a
- 1:01hero's welcome. now disgraced and
- 1:03labeled as a cheater, he'll face a much

- 1:13likely come only after the statute of
- 1:15limitations on perjury charges ran out
- 1:17following this strong denial under oath.
- 1:21I'm just trying to make sure your
- 1:22testimony is clear. Well, if it can't be
- 1:24any clearer, then I've never taken
- 1:26drugs. Still, an about face could land
- 1:28him in serious hot water. He's still
- 1:31facing an ongoing federal whistleblower
- 1:33suit that's tightly under seal. Another
- 1:36suit from a British newspaper and
- 1:38threats from a promoter that wants 7.5
- 1:40million dollars back. And yet Armstrong
- 1:43texted the AP, "I told Oprah to go
- 1:45wherever she wants, and I'll answer the
- 1:48questions directly, honestly, and
- 1:50candidly.
