- 0:00Ladies and gentlemen, Unicity Chairman
- 0:03and Chief Executive Officer Stuart
- 0:06Hughes.
- 0:09[applause]
- 0:13Thank you. It is so good to be here.
- 0:18[applause]
- 0:19Thank you. Please have a seat. You're
- 0:21the VIPs.
- 0:23You are the VIPs.
- 0:26God bless you.
- 0:29Well, we've had a good day
- 0:33>> and uh it's been inspiring to me.
- 0:38Trent, you can sign me up.
- 0:43>> I'm ready to double down.
- 0:45>> Okay. Okay.
- 0:49>> Evette, your mother, where are you,
- 0:52Evette?
- 0:54Your mother's last comment in that video
- 0:59captured the whole message of the video
- 1:02you just saw.
- 1:08[cheering]
- 1:08[applause]
- 1:12I want to express the deepest
- 1:14appreciation to our Unicity corporate
- 1:17staff. They've worked so hard for this
- 1:20to be great. [cheering]
- 1:26>> [applause]
- 1:29[laughter]
- 1:30>> And since there's a few of them in my
- 1:32family, I I'm really glad it's turned
- 1:35out because it would have been an
- 1:36uncomfortable weekend, right?
- 1:42But they've worked hard, every one of
- 1:43them. I'm so proud of them. I'm so
- 1:45grateful for them.
- 1:48>> Yeah. [applause]
- 1:50>> [cheering]
- 1:52>> But as you've heard today from so many,
- 1:56this is just the beginning.
- 1:59We are really launching North America
- 2:03today.
- 2:05[cheering]
- 2:07[applause]
- 2:08The problem is so vast, the problem is
- 2:11so huge that for the last few years,
- 2:14we've just been assembling the team.
- 2:18That's all. just assembling the team.
- 2:21But now we go forth in earnest.
- 2:25Talented, intelligent, motivated,
- 2:28committed, thousands of us.
- 2:31Now we're beginning to have the ability
- 2:34to make a dent, an impact
- 2:37on the problem,
- 2:39change the world.
- 2:42And I've been around this world a few
- 2:44times
- 2:46and I can tell you if we can solve this
- 2:49problem,
- 2:51at least begin to make a big impact on
- 2:54solving it, we will literally roll
- 2:59across the earth with this solution
- 3:04[applause and cheering]
- 3:05because North America
- 3:08grows entrepreneurs. North America grows
- 3:11leaders. People throughout the world,
- 3:16amazing people throughout the world
- 3:19still look to the people in North
- 3:21America to bring them hope of great
- 3:26solutions and success in their lives.
- 3:29And that's why millions want to come
- 3:32here.
- 3:34But we don't need to wait for that. We
- 3:37can bring the solution to them. But it
- 3:41starts here.
- 3:44It starts here. We build the
- 3:47infrastructure here
- 3:50and you have years of work ahead of you
- 3:53here. Now, before I finish my
- 3:58congratulations and gratitude, I just
- 4:02want to acknowledge those who have been
- 4:03recognized today.
- 4:06great achievements.
- 4:08[applause]
- 4:10[cheering]
- 4:12It was wonderful to see so many new
- 4:14executive directors and presidential
- 4:16directors and sapphires and rubies and
- 4:18diamonds and a double diamond and a
- 4:20triple diamond all here in North
- 4:22America. I'm used to it. I'm used to it
- 4:24in Asia, but here in North America, this
- 4:28is like really cool, right? [cheering]
- 4:34And to all the rest of you, I remember
- 4:39when I came to my first convention
- 4:43by myself.
- 4:46I I really wasn't sure and so I didn't
- 4:50want to bring anybody because I didn't
- 4:51want to be embarrassed. And about
- 4:54halfway through, I said, "What was I
- 4:56thinking? What was I thinking? That will
- 4:59never happen again." The next time I am
- 5:03going to bring busloadads of people
- 5:06and I hope that the next time
- 5:09all of you who came by yourselves, you
- 5:12will bring bus loads of people.
- 5:15[applause]
- 5:16Be that as it may, thank you for coming.
- 5:21Even if it was by yourself, thank you
- 5:23for coming. We appreciate the sacrifice.
- 5:28[applause]
- 5:29I've always wanted to do this.
- 5:32[cheering]
- 5:33So, I I want to have a conversation with
- 5:38you. I want it to be kind of casual.
- 5:42Okay? I want I want us I want us to be
- 5:46able to talk as if it was just you and
- 5:48me. Just you and me in a coffee shop.
- 5:52That's what I want this to feel like, to
- 5:56be like, because I want to impart
- 6:00something to you over the next few
- 6:02minutes that if you will, if you will
- 6:05think about it, if you will let it sink
- 6:07deep into your heart and mind, you will
- 6:10find that the business will become
- 6:13easier for you. In fact, life will
- 6:16become easier for you. Life doesn't have
- 6:20to be as hard as it has been for so many
- 6:25of you.
- 6:27It doesn't have to be that hard. It can
- 6:31be brutally hard,
- 6:33but it doesn't have to be.
- 6:36There are just a handful of key
- 6:40principles that if you can get them, if
- 6:43you can grasp them and really understand
- 6:47them,
- 6:48the whole of life begins to get easier.
- 6:54You'll still have obstacles and
- 6:55challenges. You'll still have all kinds
- 6:58of problems. But with these principles
- 7:01understood, you'll start to say, "Yeah,
- 7:03okay. I get this. I understand what to
- 7:06do here. It'll become like a puzzle to
- 7:09you. It'll become like a game to you a
- 7:11little bit. There will still be some
- 7:12tragedy. You'll shed some tears. You'll
- 7:14have some of those challenges that will
- 7:16occur to you. But you won't be
- 7:19overwhelmed if you can just grasp what
- 7:22I'm going to share with you in the next
- 7:24few minutes. So really, really pay
- 7:28attention and try to stay with me. But
- 7:32the most important thing is relive this
- 7:38over the next few days so that you can
- 7:40own it enough to teach it.
- 7:43All right.
- 7:45Number one, people who know me know that
- 7:48I'm an 8020 maximalist.
- 7:52You all know what the 8020 rule is,
- 7:55right?
- 7:5720% of what you do gets you 80% of what
- 8:01you want,
- 8:04which means that the other 80% of what
- 8:06you're doing is only getting you about
- 8:0820% of what you want.
- 8:12There's better ways to spend your time.
- 8:14Now if you literally think like this
- 8:19using that 8020 principle and focus on
- 8:22the 20%
- 8:24you will do some amazing things.
- 8:28You'll be so much more productive.
- 8:33But you want to go deeper than that.
- 8:36What's the 8020 of the 8020?
- 8:40Well, think about it.
- 8:4280% of 80 is 64. 20% of 20 is four. What
- 8:49does that really boil down to? About 4%
- 8:52of what you do gets you about 64% of
- 8:55what you want. How much time are you
- 8:58burning in semiroductive activities?
- 9:03But a maximalist, a true 8020 maximalist
- 9:06doesn't stop even here. You get down
- 9:09here say, "Well, let's go down deeper.
- 9:11What's 80% of 64?" Well, it works out
- 9:14it's about 50%. And what's 20% of four?
- 9:17Works out to about 1%.
- 9:20Meaning that about 1% of what you're
- 9:22doing is giving you over half of what
- 9:24you want.
- 9:27This has been a struggle for my wife.
- 9:31He's She's here. I'm not talking behind
- 9:33her back. she's here
- 9:36because she sees me not doing that much
- 9:39and she's wondering why do you get any
- 9:41results at all?
- 9:44And I keep reminding her, I focus on the
- 9:471%.
- 9:50Now, think about this, the 1%. How many
- 9:53times can you do the 1% if you're not
- 9:56doing the other 99%.
- 10:00>> Wow.
- 10:02You know, you can do the 1% 10 times and
- 10:06still have 90% of your time left to sit
- 10:09around and have your wife think, "What's
- 10:11he doing all the time?" Right?
- 10:14You can literally create yourself a
- 10:17different life if you're willing to do
- 10:19this. It seems it seems really simple,
- 10:23right? Why doesn't everybody do it?
- 10:27because it is so very hard to do. Think
- 10:33about it. The 1% that gives you over 50%
- 10:37of what you want, that is high friction
- 10:41stuff. That's the stuff nobody likes
- 10:44doing. It's painful stuff. It's awkward
- 10:48stuff. It's the stuff people don't want
- 10:50you to do to them. It's the stuff you
- 10:53don't want to do. It's the stuff where
- 10:55you get rejection, where you get hurt,
- 10:57where you get push back. That's the 1%.
- 11:01Oh, you can spend hours,
- 11:04you know, going through social media and
- 11:07seeing which one of these videos is
- 11:10really good and which one you could sort
- 11:11of duplicate. You could spend hours
- 11:13going through the back office, looking
- 11:15at your downline, and checking these
- 11:17things out. You can spend hours going
- 11:18through your cards of the people you're
- 11:20thinking about to prospect. All that
- 11:22stuff is not the 1%.
- 11:28The 1%
- 11:30is the stuff that literally fatigues you
- 11:34when you do it.
- 11:37What I'm doing right now is what?
- 11:421%.
- 11:43Yeah, my heart rate is going right now.
- 11:48Right. It's the 1% stuff. It's hard.
- 11:52It's painful. You could get up and walk
- 11:54out on me at any moment. Right now, in
- 11:55my mind, I'm thinking, [sighs] will they
- 11:58like it? Will they accept it? Will they
- 12:00reject it? What's going on? Have you
- 12:02felt like that when you've gone out to
- 12:04contact somebody? You've called a friend
- 12:07to talk about the business. Your heart's
- 12:09just pounding right out of your chest.
- 12:11Guess what that is?
- 12:14The 1%.
- 12:17So, you have to build the conditioning.
- 12:19You have to develop the the the uh
- 12:21cardio fitness as it were to be able to
- 12:25do multiple rounds of 1%.
- 12:30If you're serious about becoming super
- 12:33achievers,
- 12:35you're only going to do it by just
- 12:37doubling, tripling, quadrupling down on
- 12:41the 1%.
- 12:43It's essential. It's essential because
- 12:46the 1% is you in the arena. It's not you
- 12:53in the spectator stands. It's not you
- 12:56watching the game. It's you in the game.
- 13:01You're the player,
- 13:03not the watcher, not the cheerleader.
- 13:08You're the one that wins or loses.
- 13:12That's the 1% always. And if you're
- 13:15feeling like you got no stress about
- 13:17what you're doing, it's not the 1%.
- 13:22Now, principle number two,
- 13:26lean into your indiv individuality.
- 13:29Every single one of us here is a unique
- 13:33being.
- 13:35I was over at the black tie thing last
- 13:38night or two nights ago in Palm Beach
- 13:40and I saw this woman
- 13:43uh that was working at Mara Lago and I
- 13:47leaned over to my wife. I says, "Bonita,
- 13:49that looks like,
- 13:51you know, a friend of ours." And it was
- 13:54amazing. Hi, Laya. It's good to see you.
- 13:59And it's it's interesting to sometimes
- 14:02you'll see people and you
- 14:05look just like right,
- 14:08but they're not. And when you look
- 14:11closely, there's differences. There's
- 14:12uniqueness because every single one of
- 14:15us is absolutely one of a kind.
- 14:19We're simply one of a kind. And yet
- 14:22almost all of us spend so much energy
- 14:25trying to look like somebody else,
- 14:28trying to be like somebody else, trying
- 14:30to talk like somebody else, trying to
- 14:32act like somebody else.
- 14:35It's so fatiguing, and you'll never get
- 14:38it right because quite honestly, you can
- 14:40be a better you than you can be anything
- 14:43else or anyone else. As you lean into
- 14:47your individuality, you actually create
- 14:50authenticity
- 14:52that people can feel.
- 14:56They literally will look past
- 14:59they will look past
- 15:02your stumbles and your awkwardness and
- 15:04all those things that you're so worried
- 15:06about. They'll look past that if they
- 15:08feel your authenticity.
- 15:12If they feel that you're faking looking
- 15:15like someone else, they may not even
- 15:17know who you're trying to look like, but
- 15:19they will smell, they will feel, they
- 15:21will sense that something's off.
- 15:26Be you.
- 15:29Just be you.
- 15:32Just just absolutely glory in being you.
- 15:36Not in some egotistical way, but being
- 15:39so happy to be who you are
- 15:44now.
- 15:55[music]
- 15:57[snorts]
- 16:04As an individual,
- 16:07you can make music.
- 16:10You can make beautiful music. I've seen
- 16:12some individual
- 16:14players in this business that just left
- 16:17me in awe of their skill set. I would
- 16:21sit back sometimes and watch some of
- 16:24these people that were just
- 16:26extraordinary
- 16:28individual
- 16:31players
- 16:32and think to myself, "Wow,
- 16:35how does she do that? How does he do
- 16:38that? The music is beautiful, but it's
- 16:42still not taking advantage of the
- 16:46business model. People who are only
- 16:50going to be individuals will never
- 16:53achieve what this business platform will
- 16:56produce for those who understand how to
- 17:00create symphonic
- 17:03productivity.
- 17:05Sophonic productivity
- 17:08is how you're able to be yourself
- 17:12and yet be in harmony with others who
- 17:16are being themselves. This is what we
- 17:19strive for here at Unicity. We're
- 17:22striving to help you be the best you you
- 17:25can be while same time striving to have
- 17:29you play in symphonic harmony with those
- 17:34around you. Now, we see this with some
- 17:38of the people that were recognized
- 17:40this day. I think about this guy, Dr.
- 17:44Kenny Harles.
- 17:47[cheering]
- 17:48>> I first met Kenny. I first met him
- 17:53and I was like, "This guy's so put
- 17:55together, man. I mean, he's lean, he's
- 17:57fit, he's good-looking, he's articulate,
- 17:59he's got it all going on. He's going to
- 18:02be somebody I don't like."
- 18:05That was my first thought, you know, cuz
- 18:06I don't like guys like that, you know. I
- 18:09look in the mirror and I see the
- 18:10problem. I look at those guys and think,
- 18:12I want to be like that guy, but I don't
- 18:14want to be like that guy. Right? And
- 18:16then I met him. I visit with him. He was
- 18:19so humble. so teachable. He want I was
- 18:21like this guy is too good to be true.
- 18:26He's got it all going on and he's still
- 18:28humble, teachable, hardworking.
- 18:31Literally, he's gone out and been the
- 18:32number one recruiter for the entire year
- 18:36as well as the number one producer of
- 18:38new customers for the whole year.
- 18:41>> Wow. How does that work?
- 18:43[applause and cheering]
- 18:45And then here's Myra.
- 18:48quiet and fiercely determined.
- 18:52Doesn't have any of that fancy skill
- 18:55with social media, but somehow she's
- 18:58been able to put together 300 customers
- 19:00month after month after month after
- 19:02month after month as she builds herself
- 19:04up into an organization because she
- 19:07simply will not quit. [cheering] Isn't
- 19:10that powerful?
- 19:12And then you look at these two people,
- 19:18Christian and Karen. I love these two.
- 19:20I'll tell you, I sat down with them in
- 19:23Toronto.
- 19:25They poured their hearts out to me. They
- 19:28were explaining how they got caught in
- 19:30that real estate implosion that just
- 19:33trapped thousands of really smart
- 19:35entrepreneurs up there. THEY WERE WIPED
- 19:37OUT. They had people hounding them, had
- 19:40people chasing them. It was literally a
- 19:43nightmare for them. But they would not
- 19:46quit. And they looked me in the eye and
- 19:48they said, "You know what? Sometimes
- 19:50we're just terrified to leave the house,
- 19:53but we are going to build this thing and
- 19:55we're going to clear it all out." And
- 19:57look what's happened. Look what's
- 20:00happened. [applause]
- 20:04Now,
- 20:06this is like the quintessential mother,
- 20:09isn't it? Yeah. I was looking at Denise
- 20:12when she's up there talking. I says,
- 20:14"Yeah, yeah, I can see I'd like to be
- 20:17her child." You know,
- 20:20she's just got that something about her
- 20:22that you just think, you know, she's a
- 20:24great mom. And I remember when she came
- 20:26to me and said, "Can you do both?"
- 20:30And I thought to myself, what's the
- 20:32right answer for this woman? Because
- 20:34she's right that motherhood is the
- 20:37number one thing. And if she breaks
- 20:39that, she will never do the other. Cuz
- 20:42it will break her if she breaks that.
- 20:46Those were the thoughts going through my
- 20:47head. But then I realized that she
- 20:50hungered like we all do to achieve in
- 20:54her own right. If you're married to
- 20:56Trent Tuler, you got a problem, right?
- 20:58>> [cheering]
- 21:00>> I mean, Trent's just going to walk on
- 21:03stage and people are going to say, "We
- 21:04love Trent."
- 21:06How'd you like to be married to that,
- 21:07right?
- 21:10But Denise had her own skills, her own
- 21:13power, her own talents. Hey, she was the
- 21:16woman that Trent chased.
- 21:20And so I thought to myself, she could do
- 21:22them both. In fact, she has to do them
- 21:24both.
- 21:26She has to do them both. And that's all
- 21:28I told her.
- 21:31And look what she's done. She's done
- 21:32them both.
- 21:35[applause]
- 21:38And I remember [laughter]
- 21:41Amarie,
- 21:43I'm I I I get a I get a text message
- 21:45from Ambie about every two or three
- 21:48months
- 21:50just telling me that she's achieved
- 21:51another goal.
- 21:53You know, sometimes I get text messages
- 21:55from people say, "I got a problem." But
- 21:57with Emry, it's just got it. It's done.
- 22:02So I call her back and say, "Tell me
- 22:04about it." Right? Tell me what you did
- 22:06this time. But I remember when I first
- 22:09talked to her for the first time, we
- 22:10were coming out of a method day and she
- 22:14said, "Could I talk to you for a
- 22:15second?" I said, "Sure." [snorts] She
- 22:18said, "You know, I just don't get this
- 22:21social media thing and I just am not
- 22:24comfortable. Well, I'm a corporate
- 22:25person and I'm not comfortable doing
- 22:27that. Can I still do this business? And
- 22:29I says, "You are talking my language cuz
- 22:33I have no idea how to even get on Tik
- 22:35Tok."
- 22:38and she went out and just started
- 22:40building the old-fashioned way, building
- 22:43through centers of influence, talking to
- 22:46people, and she's a woman in a man's
- 22:50world of the corporate world, and they
- 22:53just flock to her. I mean, Kenny's one
- 22:56of her key people, and there are several
- 22:57other really strong leaders that look to
- 23:01Amarie as their leader, quietly,
- 23:05efficiently. You saw her talk today.
- 23:08Absolutely. Just a pro.
- 23:11You could be this way or another way.
- 23:16Just be yourself
- 23:19and be in harmony with the others and
- 23:21magic starts to happen. The symphony
- 23:24starts to play.
- 23:26And then there's this one.
- 23:30Interesting. anything is that Evet and
- 23:33Amory are actually
- 23:36upline downline.
- 23:38Isn't that crazy?
- 23:41Who would have thought those two would
- 23:42ever get together?
- 23:44Oil and water.
- 23:46And yet there's magic,
- 23:49absolute magic between them.
- 23:52The fact of it is
- 23:54as we engage with each other's strengths
- 23:58in the harmony of the music, what magic
- 24:01comes is because of our differences as
- 24:05we're acting into her individuality.
- 24:08Evette's amazing. She talks about that
- 24:10energy, but you know, she has her
- 24:12challenges, she has her problems, she
- 24:14has her fears and worries, but she
- 24:16punches through them again and again.
- 24:20And she does it tight, succinct.
- 24:23I've talked to her a couple of times.
- 24:24She said, "I've got this problem. What
- 24:26do you think I should do?" And I says,
- 24:27"Well, I'll do this." She god. And that
- 24:29was it. I think that's it. You don't you
- 24:31don't any more advice? No. That's it.
- 24:33All I got. I love it.
- 24:36And
- 24:38well, we've talked about Trent.
- 24:41I've known Trent. I've known Trent. See,
- 24:44Hal and Laya were our neighbors, dear
- 24:49friends. Beautiful
- 24:51people.
- 24:53I will never get the image of Laya on
- 24:55the trampoline out of my mind.
- 24:59Nine months pregnant on the trampoline
- 25:01saying, "This baby's got to come."
- 25:04I don't know who that was. It wasn't
- 25:06Trent cuz Trent had already been born.
- 25:08The reality of knowing this guy all his
- 25:11life and yet he's always been special.
- 25:14He's always had the kindest heart. He's
- 25:17had a drive. But the drive was always
- 25:21sheathed in a velvet glove of kindness.
- 25:25He just wouldn't hurt anybody's
- 25:26feelings. Just refused to do that. I
- 25:29love him for it. And then there's these
- 25:31two.
- 25:34What could I say? The most amazing
- 25:3810-year overnight successes I've ever
- 25:40seen.
- 25:43[panting]
- 25:44It's absolutely incredible. I used to
- 25:47say to myself almost every other year,
- 25:50"Why don't those two quit?"
- 25:53I mean, I really did. I would see them
- 25:56at another event and I'd say to
- 25:58somebody, "They're still here."
- 26:03I mean, it's amazing to me that they
- 26:05hung in there, but they were learning.
- 26:08They were growing. They were developing.
- 26:10They were going through that drama that
- 26:12we heard them talk about today, right?
- 26:16They were evolving. And when it clicked,
- 26:19I think it went from like $2,000 a month
- 26:22to $100,000 a month in a year to
- 26:25$300,000 a month in another year. I
- 26:27mean, I don't even know where they are
- 26:28now. They make a lot more than me,
- 26:30though. I know that much.
- 26:32[applause and cheering]
- 26:34All of these guys playing in the
- 26:36symphony
- 26:39that proves the African proverb correct.
- 26:42Sure, you can go fast if you go alone.
- 26:45But if you want to go a long way, if you
- 26:47want to go far, you got to go together
- 26:50as a group.
- 26:53[cheering] Now, [applause]
- 26:57when I was a little kid,
- 27:00I saw this movie.
- 27:04And you guys all did that Spartan run
- 27:06yesterday, right? [cheering]
- 27:08Well, I saw this movie when I was a
- 27:10little kid and I never forgot it because
- 27:14this epitomizes for me what it means to
- 27:17be a part of the Unicity family.
- 27:21This is what it means to have this kind
- 27:24of brotherhood, this kind of sisterhood,
- 27:26this kind of commitment to one another.
- 27:28You see, literally, as the good book
- 27:30says, the earth is full and there is
- 27:32enough to spare.
- 27:35You don't have to fight each other for
- 27:37market share. There is enough and to
- 27:40spare. But if you want to get there,
- 27:44we're going to have to be I bring A
- 27:47MESSAGE FROM YOUR MASTER Marcus Leinius
- 27:51Crosus,
- 27:53commander of Italy.
- 27:55By command OF HIS MOST MERCIFUL
- 27:57EXCELLENCY,
- 27:59your lives are to be spared.
- 28:03Slaves
- 28:05you were and slaves you remain. But the
- 28:10terrible penalty of crucifixion has been
- 28:13set aside on the single condition that
- 28:17you identify the body or the living
- 28:20person of the slave called Spartacus.
- 28:36I'm Spartacus.
- 28:38>> I'm Spartacus.
- 28:41>> I'm Spartacus.
- 28:42I'm Spartacus. I'M SPARTACUS.
- 28:45>> I'M SPARTACUS.
- 28:46>> I'M SPARTACUS. SPARTACUS.
- 28:48>> I'M SPARTACUS. I'm Spartacus. [cheering]
- 28:56>> [cheering]
- 29:02[cheering]
- 29:05>> I'm Spartigus.
- 29:07[cheering] What are you?
- 29:10>> Absolutely.
- 29:12We're together on this, aren't we? The
- 29:15truth of the matter is, if we want to be
- 29:18in harmony, it means being in harmony
- 29:20right through the bad times, too. Okay?
- 29:24You can't let them break you. You can't
- 29:27let them stop you. You can't let them
- 29:29turn you against each other. Principle
- 29:32number four, skills are important. It's
- 29:35incredibly important that we master the
- 29:37skills in this business. But something
- 29:40else is more important and that is
- 29:42desire.
- 29:44Desire is everything.
- 29:49If you look at this business, literally
- 29:52people around the world have all the
- 29:54different motives for hiring people.
- 29:57Elon Musk says he hires for attitude.
- 30:01Google hires for intelligence.
- 30:04I select who I work with based on
- 30:08desire.
- 30:10You see, there's really only three
- 30:12skills you need to have to master this
- 30:14business, to be extraordinary at this
- 30:17business. You need to be able to invite,
- 30:20to present, and to commit. That's it.
- 30:23This is not rocket science, okay? We're
- 30:25not doing calculus here. You just got to
- 30:27get really good at these three skills.
- 30:30And as long as you have desire, we can
- 30:33teach you those. You can learn those.
- 30:35You can master those. But if you don't
- 30:37have desire,
- 30:39we might as well be trying to teach you
- 30:41astrophysics,
- 30:43which will be hard since the football
- 30:45coach is the one who taught me math.
- 30:47Okay. The reality for you is that this
- 30:50is the way you determine who you work
- 30:53with. This is the way you determine who
- 30:56works with you. Demonstrate desire. You
- 31:01got to have that I want it.
- 31:06Rav said the he gave the the comment
- 31:09this morning that he's going to the top
- 31:12of that mountain or he's going to be
- 31:13lying dead along the side of the way.
- 31:17That's desire.
- 31:20You need that desire.
- 31:22Number five, you guys all understand
- 31:25this, but I am convinced your
- 31:27understanding is at a superficial level.
- 31:30And that will not do because what
- 31:33separates the great from the average is
- 31:37a deep understanding of geometric
- 31:39duplication.
- 31:42If you're making a lot of money right
- 31:44now because you've got a lot of
- 31:46customers,
- 31:48you're doing simple math. You are not
- 31:51doing geometric math.
- 31:54And for us to change the world, we've
- 31:57got to get geometric progressions in
- 32:00duplications of those three skill sets.
- 32:05I had an uncle. He was an immigrant from
- 32:08Afghanistan.
- 32:10Brilliant guy.
- 32:11very refined and he loved chess
- 32:15and he would he taught me chess
- 32:19and he was good at it. And he once said
- 32:21to me, "Do you know where chess was
- 32:23invented?"
- 32:25Where do you think it was?
- 32:27>> It was Afghanistan because that's where
- 32:29he was from, right? And he says, "A guy
- 32:32comes to the king one day and he says, I
- 32:34want to teach you a game." And he
- 32:36teaches the game of chess to the king.
- 32:38And the kids, I love this game. I love
- 32:41it. Tell me, I want to give you a prize
- 32:44for teaching me this game. This is
- 32:46fantastic. I'll give you some crazy
- 32:49amount of money. And the the the guy
- 32:51says, "No, no, I don't I I'm just I'm
- 32:53just happy to teach the king uh a way to
- 32:56give him joy." And the king would not be
- 32:58denied. He says, "Give me something."
- 33:00And so the man said, "Well, I'll tell
- 33:02you what. If you just give me a penny
- 33:04for that first square on the
- 33:07chessboard."
- 33:09and then double it
- 33:12on the next square.
- 33:14That's all. And the king says, "That's
- 33:16it." He said, "Just keep doubling it
- 33:18through the chessboard. That's all I
- 33:19need. That's it." So the king's going
- 33:21through this and he's going through this
- 33:23and he's at the end of that line. Buck
- 33:2528.
- 33:27This guy's stupid. He's thinking, "Man,
- 33:29it's incredible." So I'll go through the
- 33:30next one. It's only 328.
- 33:37>> I had to look that number up.
- 33:39I had to I had to use Grock and say what
- 33:43comes after a trillion
- 33:46because one penny that's doubled
- 33:50through a chessboard of 68 squares ends
- 33:53up being 92 quadrillion
- 33:58dollars.
- 34:00Now that sounds like woo woo, I know.
- 34:04But I want you to understand something.
- 34:07Everybody in this room, the person who
- 34:09signed up yesterday, the person who's
- 34:11going to sign up tonight, everybody in
- 34:14this room can create diamond level
- 34:16income in 12 months or less from today.
- 34:22I want to show you how [applause]
- 34:26this was taught to me many, many years
- 34:29ago and it stuck
- 34:33and it literally changed my life forever
- 34:36because I gained a deep burning
- 34:40understanding of this principle. You're
- 34:44going to go out and you're going to
- 34:46sponsor one new person front line each
- 34:50month.
- 34:51That's all one. And you're going to
- 34:53teach that person how to sponsor one
- 34:55person in the remaining 11 months.
- 35:02And you're going to carry that on
- 35:04through your 12 months.
- 35:12And at the end of 12 months with just
- 35:14one person a month for yourself and each
- 35:18of your people, one person a month for
- 35:20the 11 months that they have or the 10
- 35:22months or the nine months or the 8
- 35:24months or so forth, you end up with
- 35:28nearly well 4,100 approximately people
- 35:32in your organization. That's called
- 35:35diamond level income.
- 35:37Now, in order to do this, guess what? It
- 35:41requires
- 35:431%
- 35:451% behavior,
- 35:481% activity. You've got to become
- 35:52teachers, not just salespeople. You've
- 35:54got to become people who can teach
- 35:57people how to teach people how to teach
- 35:59people how to do something.
- 36:03[applause]
- 36:04That's what this takes. It's the 1%.
- 36:06It's what creates the magic. It's not
- 36:09you being a superstar. It's you being an
- 36:12amazing teacher. You know why women are
- 36:14so good at this business? They're
- 36:17naturally better teachers.
- 36:22But men can be great teachers, too, if
- 36:25you'll commit to the idea that if you're
- 36:28willing to sponsor somebody front line,
- 36:30you ought to have the conviction and the
- 36:33commitment to actually teach them how to
- 36:35go do the business themselves. And you
- 36:39need to teach them how to teach others
- 36:42how to do that. And that is what creates
- 36:45geometric duplication. You and I, no
- 36:48matter how amazing we are, cannot make
- 36:51an impact on a global epidemic that's
- 36:55wiping out millions of lives a year. We
- 36:58can't do it.
- 37:01We've got to be teachers and evolving
- 37:05people and elevating people so that we
- 37:07can go out there. Next year we have an
- 37:10event with 40,000 people in Bangkok.
- 37:14How many will be there with you?
- 37:18[cheering]
- 37:40>> [cheering]
- 37:44>> in 14 months. Sounds like a great power
- 37:48goal timeline.
- 37:50[cheering]
- 37:5114 months.
- 37:55Where are you going to be?
- 38:00[cheering]
- 38:01What will you be doing?
- 38:05Who will you have with you?
- 38:08[cheering]
- 38:09>> What rank will you be?
- 38:13>> These are the questions you have to
- 38:15begin to ask yourself.
- 38:18>> What are you going to do to make that
- 38:22happen?
- 38:24[cheering]
- 38:25>> It's all about you.
- 38:28>> You know, you know what I think about
- 38:29all the time?
- 38:31I think about you.
- 38:33>> [laughter]
- 38:34>> I think about you. In fact, I got 2,000
- 38:37of these hats made just so that I would
- 38:39always remember to think about you. But
- 38:42I want you thinking about you and I want
- 38:44you thinking about your downline. It's
- 38:46always really about you. [applause]
- 38:51It's always about you.
- 38:54And you know what I want you to be
- 38:56thinking? I want you to be thinking when
- 38:59you see your customers, it's about you.
- 39:03It's about you. As you begin to downplay
- 39:08yourself,
- 39:09you downplay your fears. You downplay
- 39:12your anxieties. You downplay all that
- 39:14nonsense. As you begin to think about
- 39:16the other,
- 39:18you stop worrying so much about
- 39:20yourself.
- 39:22You get rid of the me monster and you
- 39:25start focusing on them. So when people
- 39:29say, "What's the you for?" Well, it's
- 39:31it's about you. [cheering]
- 39:35I'm here to help you.
- 39:40That's what it's all about.
- 39:42So deeply deeply I want you to think
- 39:46about this when you contemplate your
- 39:49goal for 14 months.
- 39:53Do you
- 39:55want to stay
- 39:58the way you are right now?
- 40:02>> Do you want to be just a face in the
- 40:06crowd?
- 40:11>> [laughter]
- 40:14>> It's my life.
- 40:19Say it with me.
- 40:21>> It's my [cheering]
- 40:23life.
- 40:26It's my life.
- 40:33>> It's your life. [music]
- 40:36Heat.
- 40:40[music]
- 40:42[cheering]
- 40:47[music]
- 40:49Heat.
- 40:54[music]
