- 0:00Do you think that
- 0:02if the girl reached out to you
- 0:06>> and said, [music] "Can we figure this
- 0:08out?" It could be something like,
- 0:10"Okay." Or do you think it's like no,
- 0:19[music]
- 0:21I think
- 0:24[music]
- 0:31>> [music]
- 0:35>> So, obviously we all know that every
- 0:37single time we have Miss Kylie Canrell
- 0:39on, the fans are like, "When is Kylie
- 0:41coming back on?" Like, "When is Kylie
- 0:42coming back on?" Like, the fans do not
- 0:43play about Kylie. Like, they let her
- 0:45down.
- 0:48And of course, we're doing a new season.
- 0:50We have to have Miss Kylie on. Like,
- 0:51what? It just makes sense. Like, she was
- 0:53one of the first people. She was in the
- 0:55was like a very big guest to come on our
- 0:58show. She's a great guest to have on.
- 1:00So, we're gonna have her on today. I
- 1:02feel like there's so much to catch up on
- 1:03with Kylie. We haven't seen her for like
- 1:04a long time. Um, and she's had huge
- 1:07projects come out, new albums come out.
- 1:09Like, she's
- 1:10>> new movies come out.
- 1:11>> New movies. Like, she's been doing her
- 1:13thing.
- 1:15So, why don't we bring Kylie on?
- 1:18[screaming]
- 1:20Hi. Hi.
- 1:23How are you doing?
- 1:28So good to see you. You look so cute.
- 1:31>> Hi, boo.
- 1:32>> Hi.
- 1:34>> Oh my gosh. See, she's wearing flats off
- 1:36my case. I love the flat moment. Not the
- 1:39ones. Adorable.
- 1:40>> Camel toe.
- 1:41>> Okay. Wait. Can we first talk about your
- 1:43outfit a little bit? Because I feel like
- 1:44of course with the new album coming out
- 1:46and everything, it's like a part of the
- 1:48aesthetic. you have to like dress, how
- 1:49you look, like all that. So, like what's
- 1:51your inspiration? Because what I saw was
- 1:53Carrie Bradshaw.
- 1:54>> Mhm.
- 1:55>> Great. Like some of the Sex in the City
- 1:58is like a little bit of inspiration.
- 1:59>> Yes. I think Carrie has always been Oh,
- 2:01that's my face right there. Come on. I
- 2:04think Carrie has always been a fashion
- 2:08in of mine. Have you guys seen the show?
- 2:11>> And I like obsessed in like her.
- 2:14>> What season are you on?
- 2:15>> The whole show.
- 2:16>> The whole show. The whole show. Carrie
- 2:17is a fashion icon, but she's also a
- 2:19little bit of a mess in like some ways.
- 2:21I don't think you're a mess by any
- 2:22means, but I'm asking, do you relate to
- 2:24Carrie as like a character at all, too?
- 2:26>> Do I relate to the mess of of Carrie
- 2:29Bradshaw?
- 2:29>> Like maybe just like not like the mess
- 2:31of Carrie Bradshaw, but like she just
- 2:32has a lot going on sometimes. Fully
- 2:34resonate with that.
- 2:36>> I would definitely categorize myself as
- 2:38a mess. Actually, [laughter]
- 2:40I I totally would.
- 2:41>> Ever girl like this?
- 2:44>> Hey, like this.
- 2:49Um, yes, actually. Um, I feel like
- 2:53that's honestly the thing that I love
- 2:54about Carrie is that she always like
- 2:57presents herself so nicely and she like
- 3:00her outfits are always so cute, so tea
- 3:02and then you're like, damn, this
- 3:04is going through it. She's loud about
- 3:06the mess.
- 3:06>> Well, and you know, you know what's
- 3:08funny, too, is that like we look at
- 3:10Carrie and we're like, she's such a
- 3:11prize. But then Mr. Big is somebody who
- 3:13looked at Carrie and was like, you're a
- 3:15mess. It's like we're like, "Oh, she ate
- 3:17hering fit up to go to this event and we
- 3:19still don't want to put a ring on it. We
- 3:21still don't want to put a ring on it."
- 3:22>> Still, it's a situationship. It was a
- 3:24six season long situationship
- 3:27>> and she's a baddie and she still got
- 3:29played.
- 3:30>> Are you Are you single? Are you ready to
- 3:32mingle? What's going on there?
- 3:36[music]
- 3:38>> I am single.
- 3:39>> Okay.
- 3:40>> I think I I've just I'm feel permanently
- 3:43single right now. I think like that has
- 3:45just been my bag for like
- 3:47>> Wait, but you're like the biggest prize
- 3:49like there is.
- 3:50>> I feel like you should be permanently
- 3:51single until there's somebody who could
- 3:53like maybe give you something, but like
- 3:55I'm not sure anyone really can give you
- 3:57anything. That's like the hard thing
- 3:59about being such like a boss
- 4:01>> Like a full package.
- 4:02>> Yeah. Like such a woman is that it's
- 4:04like no one really can do anything for
- 4:06you. And that's okay. That's sweet.
- 4:09That's honestly the mindset I need to
- 4:10have. I feel like my mindset is like
- 4:14Damn. Like what's what's what's going on
- 4:17in the milk?
- 4:17>> What's in the air? Like where where they
- 4:20at? No, it is people who can though.
- 4:24>> Like some men will like can do for you,
- 4:27you know?
- 4:28>> Yeah.
- 4:28>> We just haven't found them yet. I just
- 4:30haven't found.
- 4:31>> They can add great things to your life,
- 4:33but they're never going to be able to
- 4:35give you something that you can't give
- 4:36yourself.
- 4:37>> Oh, yeah. That's what I'm saying. But
- 4:39that's okay. But I have a brother. I
- 4:40just want to show you him. Yeah.
- 4:42>> [laughter]
- 4:42>> just in case Luke um he's crazy
- 4:46>> and you know what he can add to your
- 4:48life is by
- 4:49>> I dated a Luke so now that name is like
- 4:52a little so it's like different you know
- 4:53>> a little bit you know like a little I
- 4:55just saw a Tik Tok that like took me out
- 4:57and it was like having an ex like will
- 4:59have you out here hating like a random
- 5:01style of car
- 5:03[laughter]
- 5:05>> doesn't that happen like when you see
- 5:06your ex's like car you're like whoever's
- 5:09in that
- 5:10>> or I'm like pulling up faster That's
- 5:11really nice.
- 5:13>> No, literally.
- 5:14>> Okay, you can um [laughter]
- 5:15>> Have you haten a bicycle
- 5:18bicycle
- 5:20>> You can call my brother [laughter] ugly.
- 5:21I don't like I'm not offended at all.
- 5:22>> Hi, Sarah's match right now.
- 5:24>> I mean, except for me. Look at me.
- 5:26>> I know. Audrey and Herman know each
- 5:27other cuz of me. So,
- 5:29>> okay, Cupid. But my brother is super
- 5:32outdoorsy kind of person,
- 5:35>> which could be really fun for you
- 5:36because like he loves biking, hiking,
- 5:39traveling. Like he just did 200 mile
- 5:41bike ride in like the south of France.
- 5:45>> Okay. Athleticism.
- 5:46>> No. Crazy. And like what's great is that
- 5:49you have your own career. Luke loves
- 5:51when
- 5:52>> a girl has their own thing and to give
- 5:55them their space and time, but then to
- 5:56like support them also on what they're
- 5:58doing. Like
- 5:59>> you're his biggest fan right here. You
- 6:00are a good spokesperson. I'm going to
- 6:02tell him like I need him to get it going
- 6:03here. Like I'm worried he's not going to
- 6:05get married. So
- 6:06>> and I want you and my family. Okay.
- 6:10That's him as a cat.
- 6:12>> Okay. Okay.
- 6:12>> That's him as a cat.
- 6:13>> I love that the photo she shows me of
- 6:15him is him with like kitty ears on and
- 6:17whiskers.
- 6:17>> They're going to get She's going to be
- 6:18in the family now.
- 6:19>> Um he's definitely
- 6:21>> him with like a orange jumpsuit on
- 6:23during Halloween or was he actually
- 6:26cheating on her? No, he was just wearing
- 6:28a He's a little peep for Halloween.
- 6:31[laughter]
- 6:31>> Just another photos you chose to show
- 6:34me.
- 6:38I'm telling you, you would meet it and
- 6:39you guys would hit it off because you
- 6:41both have so much going for yourselves
- 6:42that it would be like we can do our
- 6:44separate things and it's not like
- 6:46someone's upset, you know?
- 6:47>> That's nice. I think that's like the
- 6:48biggest thing is like finding a guy that
- 6:50like has his own stuff going on and
- 6:52isn't like intimidated by like a girl
- 6:56who also has her own going on, you
- 6:59know?
- 7:00>> It's like
- 7:01>> happy medium. Yeah. but also has time to
- 7:04like kiki and like hang out and
- 7:07>> be cute. Yeah.
- 7:07>> Be cute.
- 7:08>> So, do you want to talk to us a little
- 7:10bit about Valley Girl albums? She's been
- 7:11in the works a minute and I feel so
- 7:15happy that it's like out in the world
- 7:17and um I'm not sure if you guys got the
- 7:20chance to listen to it.
- 7:21>> I did. Honey, we did.
- 7:22>> Yeah, we listened. [laughter]
- 7:23>> We did.
- 7:24>> Don't worry.
- 7:25>> Okay. Period. I'm excited to hear what
- 7:27you guys think. I opened up on a whole
- 7:29other level than I ever have with my
- 7:31music before.
- 7:33>> Um, and it just comes with like life
- 7:35experience and like having to talk
- 7:37about and
- 7:38>> having a lot to get off your chest. And
- 7:40it was like the best form of
- 7:43inspiration. And so many of these songs
- 7:45were because of
- 7:47>> things that I had gone through that
- 7:49>> gave me so much to talk about, so much
- 7:52to write about. I thought it was such a
- 7:54beautiful way to talk about your
- 7:54experiences cuz like I've come on here
- 7:56and I'm like well you and it's like well
- 7:59like that's not [laughter] really
- 7:59beautiful or
- 8:01>> of course like like a lot of people know
- 8:02about like your situation and what the
- 8:05album
- 8:06>> has stemmed from
- 8:07>> right
- 8:07>> and so many girls can relate to that you
- 8:10know and go through it from either sides
- 8:13of the spectrum like understanding like
- 8:15what you're saying and how you felt. I
- 8:17know that like music for everyone is
- 8:20such a big part of people's like
- 8:21everyone's life because when you're
- 8:23going through something you want to feel
- 8:24understood, right?
- 8:25>> And I think your song gave that to a lot
- 8:28of people which is really great and
- 8:30that's like a sacrifice on your part cuz
- 8:31it's like to put yourself out there like
- 8:33that it's hard and it's scary and to
- 8:35create something that's like you know
- 8:36worthwhile for someone to listen to too
- 8:38like it takes a lot. So props to you.
- 8:43>> My best songs literally come from
- 8:46>> your experiences.
- 8:48>> Yeah. Like I feel like my best songs
- 8:49well they're mostly diss tracks but
- 8:53>> they was real came from real life
- 8:54experiences. My biggest songs
- 8:56>> but her songs will like name drop you
- 8:58know.
- 8:58>> Yeah.
- 8:59>> As you should though don't give me
- 9:01anything to write about.
- 9:03>> If you don't want a song written about
- 9:04you then don't do I saw this quote
- 9:07that was like, "I never talked bad about
- 9:10you. I just talked about what you did to
- 9:12me. And if that makes you look bad,
- 9:15>> that's about you and your behavior."
- 9:18>> And I was like,
- 9:19>> that's like Swift would say, too. They
- 9:21were like, "Oh, why do you like
- 9:22something like why do you write all
- 9:23these songs about boys?" And she's like,
- 9:24"These boys shouldn't give me a song to
- 9:26write." You know, it's like you do
- 9:27something, I'm allowed to speak on it.
- 9:29And we I like we actually relate so
- 9:31heavily to that because with girl talk,
- 9:33we'll speak on something that happened.
- 9:36We're not talking about you. You
- 9:37did something and it upset us or it was
- 9:40just sharing your own experience and
- 9:44either, you know, we'll get in trouble
- 9:45somewhere. That person will be overly
- 9:46upset or the fans will be like, "Oh my
- 9:48god, shut the up. Stop talking
- 9:49about this." Like, you guys are mean
- 9:51girls. Like, we've gotten hate when
- 9:53we're completely in the right. You
- 9:54weren't the only person in the
- 9:55situation.
- 9:56>> I have feelings, too. And we both
- 9:58experience this on two different sides.
- 10:01I can speak about it, too. Whether it's
- 10:02in a song, whether I cuss you out on
- 10:04TikTok, whether I'm talking about you
- 10:05oning girl talk, like girl, I can talk
- 10:08about it, too.
- 10:09>> And it's also like the truth only sounds
- 10:11harsh when someone was benefiting from
- 10:13the silence.
- 10:15>> Yes. Period.
- 10:17>> Girl, like it only sounds harsh because
- 10:21you did some crazy
- 10:23>> Yeah.
- 10:23>> Sorry. You did it. Like
- 10:25>> I'm allowed to speak my truth, speak
- 10:28about my experience. And I think like
- 10:31music is actually the way that I'm able
- 10:34to express those things cuz like I don't
- 10:37want to even talk about anything. Like
- 10:39>> I, you know, went through something and
- 10:42it sucked and I got really hurt and I
- 10:45would rather just like not even
- 10:48>> Yeah. Not even bring it up. Like but I
- 10:51think music is like the one outlet I
- 10:53have where I can actually like
- 10:56>> feel free to share those things. I wish
- 10:58I had your album like maybe like 2 3
- 11:00years ago. I'm happy we have it now.
- 11:03>> Similar
- 11:03>> like I don't think it was as detrimental
- 11:05but it was definitely like
- 11:08>> like she almost had like I would say
- 11:09like the same experience like a little
- 11:12lighter probably hurts.
- 11:13>> So if I had the album girl
- 11:17>> but I'm happy it's now I get to listen
- 11:18now. Pretend I'm back in that experience
- 11:21now. It's like bringing it back.
- 11:23>> That's the realest thing though when you
- 11:24listen to music and it brings you back
- 11:26to a past situation. You're like,
- 11:27"Bitch, we're mad again."
- 11:28>> Or you like you're actually like super
- 11:30happy like having married or something.
- 11:31You're just like pretending that like
- 11:32something happened. You're like, "Yeah."
- 11:33>> Yeah. Whenever I listen to Plan B Megan
- 11:35Stallion, like I really
- 11:39have to kill the Royal album.
- 11:40>> Like it's like [laughter]
- 11:42there's a whole lot of people in this
- 11:43room, but the whole time I'm thinking
- 11:44about you. I don't know if I'm coming up
- 11:46strong. Sorry, I'm just telling the
- 11:48truth. Hey,
- 11:52>> I just thought to I know exactly what
- 11:54she's talking about.
- 11:55>> Oh, really? Like it's just that entire
- 11:57>> it just connects with you differently.
- 11:59And I think like expressing it like what
- 12:01you've gone through through music is
- 12:02like the best way to do it cuz sometimes
- 12:04I'm like damn like are we too much when
- 12:06we're like sitting in the camera and
- 12:07we're like oh like I know
- 12:10>> I don't ever think it's too much.
- 12:12[laughter]
- 12:12>> I think it's just enough.
- 12:14>> You're like true queen. But it's so
- 12:17real. Like music can really like put you
- 12:20in that place. Cuz I also wrote these
- 12:22songs like literally 9 months ago. And
- 12:25people are out here thinking that I
- 12:27wrote this yesterday. They're like, "Oh,
- 12:28it's been 9 months. Get over it."
- 12:31>> I wrote this so long ago when these
- 12:33emotions were fresh. Like right in the
- 12:35midst of my like hurt and
- 12:38>> I was like the most upset. So it's funny
- 12:40now that I'm like singing these songs
- 12:42cuz I'm like very much over it. But now
- 12:45when I'm like singing space between
- 12:47>> I'm like oh I'm able to like kind of go
- 12:50back to like the hurt that I felt at the
- 12:52time even though I feel like I've healed
- 12:54so much.
- 12:54>> You carried yourself so well. Like I've
- 12:56seen interview like I'm like tapped in.
- 12:57I've seen like interviews and stuff and
- 12:59like
- 13:00>> you really do carry yourself and like
- 13:02talking about your situation so well
- 13:04where I'm not like she's like a mean
- 13:06girl or anything like this. Like you
- 13:08really do present yourself in like how
- 13:09cuz I like I can't talk about situations
- 13:11that well clearly.
- 13:13>> [laughter]
- 13:14>> I'm not the best with it at times. So, I
- 13:16do like get a lot of like inspiration
- 13:18and strength from you because you do
- 13:20carry yourself just so well and like how
- 13:22you handled that is just I think truly
- 13:25beautiful.
- 13:25>> That's so sweet.
- 13:26>> You do you do make me giggle sometimes
- 13:29though when I see you like this.
- 13:32>> Yeah.
- 13:32>> Yes. [laughter] The interviews specific
- 13:34interviews I'm like please
- 13:36>> dude my friends have made that into a
- 13:38sticker.
- 13:39>> Why would they say that knowing damn
- 13:41well? Like the interviews say no ideal
- 13:43and you're like you like [laughter]
- 13:46like said person will say something like
- 13:49you know I don't want to make fun but
- 13:50like something like I find friendship so
- 13:52important and like the friendships that
- 13:53grew
- 13:54>> and Kylie's like respecting each other
- 13:56and Kylie's like
- 13:58>> what like what are you [laughter]
- 14:00talking about?
- 14:01>> No because like I am PR trained like I
- 14:03am defin like I can keep a poker face
- 14:06but there's just some times that I'm
- 14:08like I can't even keep up the act right
- 14:10[laughter] now. like I cannot sit here
- 14:12and take this seriously right now. So
- 14:14that was one of those moments. But
- 14:15>> I [laughter] full-blown if I was in that
- 14:16situation, I would have been like this,
- 14:17you know, dude, complained
- 14:20in their faces. [laughter]
- 14:22>> Like we'd be friends for a second cuz I
- 14:23didn't get about that.
- 14:25>> I feel like I was channeling you guys.
- 14:27[laughter]
- 14:28>> I was like, my girls would be proud.
- 14:31But let's talk about actually what
- 14:33people were saying about the songs or
- 14:35you know how people reacted to it some
- 14:37of the backlash like anything that
- 14:39you've gone through like with the music
- 14:40the good parts the bad parts like just
- 14:42all of it
- 14:47when you're [music] really like having a
- 14:49point of view or an opinion on something
- 14:51I think people will always kind of find
- 14:54a reason to be like well like I'mma play
- 14:56devil's advocate actually like you know
- 14:58she's kind of coming across this way and
- 15:01I think like I you know this is my first
- 15:03time kind of experiencing that because I
- 15:05don't think I've ever
- 15:07>> written songs that were like about you
- 15:10know a specific thing that was also
- 15:12happening
- 15:13>> and it was like public
- 15:14>> and it's public and people kind of know
- 15:17about what I'm actually going through
- 15:18behind the scenes. So it was like the
- 15:20first time that I was navigating you
- 15:23know dropping something that was so
- 15:25personal and like sharing so much of
- 15:27myself and my experience. [music]
- 15:28Um, and I was like, damn, there's a lot
- 15:30of, you know, opinions and hate that
- 15:33comes from it that I'm learning how to
- 15:35kind of deal with. But I mean, you guys
- 15:37deal with this all the time, too. It's
- 15:39just
- 15:40>> everyone's going to have an opinion.
- 15:41Everyone's going to
- 15:43>> try to flip the script and make you seem
- 15:45a certain way. And you just kind of
- 15:47>> like you have to [music] know that that
- 15:49comes with unfortunately
- 15:51>> the internet and sharing any part of
- 15:54yourself. Sharing art is just scary to
- 15:57begin with, but I try my best to like
- 16:00>> keep the the blinders on and not
- 16:03>> rosecolored glasses. Let's go.
- 16:04>> Did you have some low moments with it
- 16:07from like hate? Cuz it can be hard to be
- 16:10even hated on by something that you care
- 16:11so much about,
- 16:12>> but then also to be hated on when you
- 16:14know that something happened to you and
- 16:15it's like you guys didn't live my
- 16:17situation, you know, like did you have
- 16:18low times with that?
- 16:20>> Oh, for sure. I think cuz there's so
- 16:22much that went into creating this EP and
- 16:25I poured so much into it and like making
- 16:28sure it was perfect and making sure it
- 16:30was something that I felt proud of. So
- 16:32when you know I was seeing any sort of
- 16:34negativity not just about the songs but
- 16:37then also like about the experience that
- 16:40was also very personal it was like
- 16:42>> a double whammy of like oh no like h not
- 16:46only is like the art getting you know
- 16:47attacked from certain people but then
- 16:49it's also like
- 16:50>> they're like not validating like my my
- 16:54feelings either like you're not allowed
- 16:56to have those feelings like you're fine.
- 16:58>> Yeah. So, I think it was kind of both
- 17:00things that were hard to deal with at
- 17:03first. Yeah.
- 17:04>> How did you deal with that? Like, what
- 17:06was something that was really helpful
- 17:08for you or was it just like, "Oh my god,
- 17:10like I'm going through it."
- 17:12>> I tried to just like turn my phone off
- 17:14and just like not look at it, talking to
- 17:17my my close friends and yeah, just
- 17:20trying to like put it down for a minute
- 17:23cuz like Tik Tok is Tik Tok is bad too.
- 17:26>> It can get real. I be reading all your
- 17:28comments, honey.
- 17:29>> Oh my god.
- 17:29>> I'd be like [laughter] cuz I just be
- 17:31wanting to know like the TV
- 17:33>> and it's entertaining.
- 17:34>> It's very entertaining and my TikTok is
- 17:36like trained in just like showing me
- 17:38like, "Hey girl, like you just woke up.
- 17:40Let's show you like all these hate
- 17:41videos about you." Like,
- 17:43>> yeah.
- 17:43>> So yeah, it's hard like having to
- 17:46constantly be seeing myself from like
- 17:49other people's perspectives.
- 17:51>> I don't know. It's weird.
- 17:52>> And what about like your fellow
- 17:54castmates? There's a professional aspect
- 17:57of course that comes with it for sure
- 17:58because you work with these people, but
- 18:00also I'm sure that these are your
- 18:02friends. So, how they were able to kind
- 18:05of help you or didn't help you like how
- 18:07was that situation for them?
- 18:09>> I'm figuring out so much for the first
- 18:11time. I think because I'm young and like
- 18:15just naturally my professional
- 18:17relationships and my like personal
- 18:19relationships kind of like blend
- 18:21together which I'm like, okay, don't
- 18:23date a coworker. Yeah, like don't don't
- 18:26do it, girl. Not it does not work.
- 18:29>> But it's also the same with like, you
- 18:31know, a lot of my best friends are
- 18:33people that I've met on set, people that
- 18:36I work with all the time
- 18:37>> and then if something happens where you
- 18:39have a falling out and you're like, "Oh
- 18:41I have to see you tomorrow and do
- 18:44press with you." Like,
- 18:45>> it is such a tricky thing to like try
- 18:48and, you know, keep peace and just like
- 18:50be able to coexist, but like Yeah. but
- 18:54having like weird vibes off offcreen.
- 19:00And then like your other castmates who
- 19:02were a part of it too, like just like
- 19:04filming with you, were they like, "Oh, I
- 19:07have to pick sides or were they kind of
- 19:09just trying to say like distant from
- 19:11everything?"
- 19:11>> I think naturally there's a bit of like
- 19:13picking sides, I think. And also I don't
- 19:16feel the need to like this is my side
- 19:18and d which I think if you're in the
- 19:21wrong usually those people are the ones
- 19:23that are like I'm gonna tell y'all this
- 19:25is my sidea d and I'm just like you
- 19:27could just listen to my songs like I
- 19:29don't feel the need to like you know
- 19:31have to
- 19:32>> explain [music]
- 19:32>> explain anything. It it's just it's a
- 19:35strange thing. I think like for the rest
- 19:36of our cast, everyone was very [music]
- 19:39like, you know, professional and I think
- 19:41we're all just
- 19:43as professional as we can.
- 19:45>> Yeah. I have a question.
- 19:46>> I do too.
- 19:47>> And it's probably like the messy
- 19:49question because obviously I'm going to
- 19:50ask you the messy question.
- 19:51>> Of course.
- 19:52>> Um,
- 19:53>> how did you know
- 19:56that your friend left your room to go to
- 19:58the other room?
- 19:59>> Oh
- 20:00>> How did you find out at the holiday
- 20:02>> and they wereing smoking on
- 20:04balcony?
- 20:05>> Yeah. How did you find out that she left
- 20:06your room? And was it cigarettes or
- 20:07weed?
- 20:09>> It was definitely Zah. I can tell they
- 20:11were smoking weed.
- 20:12>> That Zah. Yeah.
- 20:13>> Oh
- 20:15>> Cigarettes. I got Let's just say I
- 20:17wasn't invited to any of the Zah smoke
- 20:19sessions.
- 20:20>> I didn't get the invite. Somehow the
- 20:22text just didn't go through.
- 20:25>> I was finding out the next day like,
- 20:26"Oh, you guys are having a little key.
- 20:28Where was my invite?"
- 20:29>> I don't smoke, but I still could have
- 20:31like been there from the right. Like,
- 20:33>> yeah.
- 20:35FOMO, [laughter]
- 20:37but I guess now we know it. I didn't get
- 20:38the invite. So,
- 20:39>> so how did you find out about the room
- 20:43[laughter and gasps]
- 20:44on the creek on the creek? I know
- 20:47>> she looked out the window.
- 20:48>> I'm like next song will be like
- 20:51>> Yeah.
- 20:51>> Next song out. [laughter]
- 20:55>> That next song is just called Holiday
- 20:56in.
- 20:58>> Yeah. On the Holiday in song.
- 21:01My assumption was like you can look at
- 21:02both their locations and see they're
- 21:04together.
- 21:04>> No, but it's like if we're all staying
- 21:06at the same hotel. It's like
- 21:07>> but it's that's you know we're all at
- 21:09the same hotel. I think on tour too it's
- 21:11like you know I'm like saying so much um
- 21:16like n cut this out. [music]
- 21:20You know if you're if you're lying or
- 21:22being sneaky about something especially
- 21:24to your friend who knows you so well
- 21:26like you guys would know if your bestie
- 21:28was lying to you. Like
- 21:30>> if Brooklyn was trying to keep some
- 21:31if you were trying to keep some
- 21:32like you guys would know.
- 21:34>> Yeah. I mean, I was even trying to like
- 21:35pretend was coming yesterday and she
- 21:37could tell that like there was like he
- 21:38was like coming and I was like, "Okay,
- 21:39>> you just know when something's off with
- 21:40your best friend and it was just like a
- 21:42intuition of like
- 21:44>> you're not being honest with me. You're
- 21:46like
- 21:47>> moving weird.
- 21:49>> I just related so hard to something she
- 21:52This situation reminds me of like sorry
- 21:53me. But I also I have a question to like
- 21:58I I don't know if this is messy or not.
- 22:00I don't I don't feel like it is.
- 22:02>> Ask the question, girl.
- 22:03>> Anyways, um did anyone like reach out
- 22:06when the album came out? Like what the
- 22:08or like were they like supporting you or
- 22:10like trying to be like I'm so sorry or
- 22:12anything like that? like my close
- 22:14friends, which are literally like three
- 22:16people, um they reached out, I think
- 22:20>> not really like anyone who's at all in
- 22:24proximity involved with us. Like no one
- 22:27really reached out,
- 22:29>> which kind of sucks.
- 22:31>> Yeah.
- 22:31>> Yeah. But
- 22:32>> well, cuz it's like you want support, of
- 22:34course.
- 22:34>> Yeah.
- 22:35>> Like what's up?
- 22:36>> And it's like everyone's comfortable.
- 22:37>> Everyone knows like
- 22:39>> what happened like I don't know. It it's
- 22:42it's strange.
- 22:43>> Olivia Rodrigo did it.
- 22:46>> I'm just saying this because she had an
- 22:48entire album about Serena Carpenter and
- 22:51what was that guy's name?
- 22:52>> It was like more about the girls to me.
- 22:54>> That's the thing about it. It's not even
- 22:55about the man. It's about theing girl,
- 22:57>> right? Because you were my best friend
- 23:00to me. Like the man like they're
- 23:02all whatever. Like
- 23:03>> a man is going to be a man.
- 23:05>> It's on brand for him. It is not on
- 23:07brand for you as my best friend. Yeah.
- 23:10>> So, it's like never about the It's like
- 23:12with like the the the Olivia Rodrigo
- 23:14situation, I feel like she didn't get
- 23:15any hate at all. It was like
- 23:17>> kill Sabrina Carpenter, you know what I
- 23:19mean? Like die.
- 23:20>> No. And then when Sabrina Carpenter came
- 23:22out with her song back, everyone was
- 23:23like And then she got more popular and
- 23:25then Sabrina's probably like,
- 23:28>> you know what I mean? Like I just it was
- 23:30Yeah. I was really on like
- 23:31Sabrina like and no one gaffed about.
- 23:35[music]
- 23:37Why do you feel that like when Olivia
- 23:39did it, everyone's like Sabrina, right?
- 23:42But then when somebody like you does the
- 23:44exact same thing, it's like, well, maybe
- 23:47this could have been done differently.
- 23:48You know what I mean? Like, have you
- 23:49thought about that at all? Cuz that was
- 23:50something I was thinking about when I
- 23:51was reading comments. I'm like, what?
- 23:53Every artist does this. Taylor Swift has
- 23:55been doing it. Ariana Grandia is doing
- 23:56it. Olivia Rodrigo does it. Like, I'm
- 23:59confused.
- 24:00>> If you take the like victim standpoint,
- 24:03I think it's easier for people to feel
- 24:06sorry.
- 24:07Like just because I'm
- 24:09>> carrying things well doesn't mean that
- 24:12it's heavy. And I think like people
- 24:14assume like oh you know Kylie's dropping
- 24:16music like she's fine. She's fine. This
- 24:18she's not really that hurt.
- 24:20>> But it's like no I am. I'm not going to
- 24:22sit here and cry about it all day but I
- 24:24am hurt.
- 24:25>> No that's why you get on the live and
- 24:26you cry cuz realistically like they'll
- 24:29be like oh You know what I mean?
- 24:31Yeah,
- 24:31>> I'm not trying to take advantage of the
- 24:33victim complex, but like there really is
- 24:35something to it when people are always
- 24:36victimizing themselves.
- 24:36>> Of course, it's human nature.
- 24:37>> I also think too Yeah. like with the
- 24:39other side of it of the other people
- 24:41[music] just staying silent. It's like
- 24:43you don't you're only seeing which
- 24:46>> it works in so many ways, but it also
- 24:47doesn't you're only getting her side of
- 24:49it, right? So, they're going to be like,
- 24:51"Oh, she's attacking she's cuz that's
- 24:53what happens with me, right? Like in my
- 24:55own situations, they're like, "Oh my
- 24:57god." Like look, like Sophie's so
- 24:58problematic cuz I talk about a lot of
- 25:00things and they're silent, but it's
- 25:02like, "What the are they going to
- 25:03say? They were in the wrong."
- 25:04>> They were in the wrong. If I was in the
- 25:05wrong, you know what I would be doing?
- 25:06>> I'd be like, "Zip it."
- 25:07>> I'd be like, "Let's just hope they
- 25:09forget about it."
- 25:10>> I'm not going to lie, though. Sophie's
- 25:11smart when she does it. Sophie will talk
- 25:13some and then she still plays the
- 25:14victim afterwards. Like, she'll talk
- 25:16and then be on TikTok,
- 25:20>> and I'll be like, "Yes, girl.
- 25:21>> Triple kill." No, I'm sorry. You're not
- 25:24seeing anyone else's point. So, it's
- 25:26like
- 25:27>> they're, you know, everyone's going to
- 25:28be like you're attacking, but it's like,
- 25:29but like, no.
- 25:30>> Like, no, you went through something,
- 25:31>> right? Yeah. And you you have also like
- 25:33I'm sure people are telling you this,
- 25:35but if they're not, you have every right
- 25:37to talk about this. Like, I don't want
- 25:39you to ever feel bad for speaking your
- 25:41truth because you shouldn't. You went
- 25:43through something that is traumatic on
- 25:45any level to anybody and you should be
- 25:47able to talk about it.
- 25:48>> That's what my therapist told me.
- 25:50>> Oh, you're in therapy?
- 25:51>> Yeah. Okay, cuz I was going to say like
- 25:53I I definitely was like doing therapy or
- 25:55whatever, like trying to get through
- 25:57things and it's like helpful having
- 25:59someone to talk to, but like you also
- 26:00need to have like a good close
- 26:01therapist. So, you like
- 26:03>> you like therapy?
- 26:04>> Yeah, I like just started not too long
- 26:06ago, so I'm like, you know, finding the
- 26:09the pocket
- 26:10>> with my king, the groove.
- 26:11>> Yeah, I know. He's great. Um, but yeah,
- 26:14no, I think it's helpful just to like
- 26:15work through things and of course like,
- 26:18you know, music helps and and talking
- 26:21with my close friends help, but
- 26:22>> Yeah.
- 26:23>> What what made you like want to start
- 26:25therapy?
- 26:26>> I think just to like hear a different
- 26:29perspective on things and you get so
- 26:31like locked in on like your experience
- 26:33and the like the hurt from a situation.
- 26:36And I think for me because, you know, I
- 26:39feel like I'm very busy, I have to kind
- 26:41of like shove down a little bit and
- 26:44like,
- 26:45>> okay, let me
- 26:45>> be professional. Lock in.
- 26:47>> Let me lock in. Like, I'll deal with
- 26:48these feelings later. Like that's always
- 26:50my motto is like, I'll deal with it
- 26:51later. I'll deal with it later. Like,
- 26:53>> and then at a certain point, like your
- 26:56mind is like, "No, girl. We're going to
- 26:57deal with it right now." Like,
- 26:59>> you're crying at 2:00 a.m. Like, it's
- 27:02time for you to deal with it. So I think
- 27:04that was just the moment of like okay
- 27:05let me like talk these things through
- 27:07and I think with your friends too like
- 27:10they share in the hurt with you.
- 27:13>> So sometimes like you know my friends
- 27:15are like
- 27:16>> just forget about it like you know like
- 27:18they suck whatever. And
- 27:20>> I think like just having an outside
- 27:22person who like has no affiliation like
- 27:25no bias to just be like no girl like
- 27:28>> you you're you're able to feel these
- 27:30things. You're allowed to feel these
- 27:32things.
- 27:33um has been nice.
- 27:34>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:35>> Was it something for you like like when
- 27:38you say like, "Oh, I'm like crying at 2
- 27:40a.m." because of like the loss of your
- 27:41friendship.
- 27:42>> Yeah, it was it was a loss. like
- 27:46definitely like stages [music] of grief
- 27:48were like that's [laughter] like Loki
- 27:51the dark undertone of the EP is like
- 27:54it's Loki giving the stages of grief
- 27:56because
- 27:57>> um I think it's like [music] you go
- 28:00through every phase of like shock like
- 28:03wait the person [music] I was so close
- 28:04to just like hurt me in the craziest way
- 28:08possible and [music] then it's like
- 28:10you're pissed cuz you're like why why
- 28:13would you
- 28:13>> like I would never do this to you.
- 28:15>> Mhm.
- 28:15>> I would never do this to you. What was
- 28:18the point?
- 28:20>> You threw it all away for what? [music]
- 28:22>> You're reminiscing on the friendship,
- 28:24I'm sure. And it's like, oh my god.
- 28:25Like,
- 28:26>> I just like you want to be their friend
- 28:27and call them, but it's also like, damn
- 28:29it, you did me so wrong. So,
- 28:30>> like, you can never believe what just
- 28:31happened. I'm crying, but then you're
- 28:32like, oh, the person I'm calling is the
- 28:34one who did the thing. That's why I'm
- 28:35calling.
- 28:35>> Right. Right. Like, you're the reason
- 28:37the reason we
- 28:40never It's never about the man. Like
- 28:42it's about the girl that you
- 28:43>> It's never about him.
- 28:45>> Do you think that she felt the loss,
- 28:47too?
- 28:47>> Yeah.
- 28:49>> Yeah, I think so. I mean, we were such a
- 28:52big part of each other's lives.
- 28:55Um
- 28:57Yeah, I'm I'm sure. I'm sure. But I
- 29:02guess it it wasn't
- 29:05I think
- 29:06doing something that you know is going
- 29:09to hurt your friend and still doing it
- 29:11is like okay obviously you
- 29:14>> outweighed the options and you decided
- 29:16to do this thing and
- 29:19>> you knew the consequences. So like
- 29:21>> I also like have to remind myself of
- 29:24that too when I'm like hurt and like
- 29:26>> well I should just you know reach out
- 29:28and whatever and I'm like wait
- 29:29>> no she knew what she was
- 29:31>> she knew she knew what a loss it was
- 29:33going to be cuz we listen to the space
- 29:35between I'd be like like my best friend
- 29:37like I'm missing her. I would be like
- 29:39damn like I miss my girl right now but
- 29:41it's like I did her dirty so it's like
- 29:43you know what I mean?
- 29:43>> Yeah. No, I'm sure it's a terrible
- 29:46position and terrible place to be in,
- 29:49but it's also like you but you don't do
- 29:52it.
- 29:52>> She knew the two situations. She knew
- 29:55what she was choosing and that she was
- 29:57going to lose you,
- 29:58>> of course, right? So, I don't think it
- 30:00should be a place ever where you reach
- 30:01out cuz it's like she was okay with
- 30:03losing you. So, it's like you shouldn't
- 30:05put yourself on the line to work for
- 30:08that cuz like that's how she know there
- 30:10weren't efforts really on on this
- 30:13person's side.
- 30:15>> It wasn't like how do I fix this? I will
- 30:17literally drop him right now like cuz
- 30:19you have to choose like girl
- 30:21>> you're really what are you expecting
- 30:23like us all three of us to go hang out?
- 30:26>> Oh, now I'm invited to smoke.
- 30:27>> That's invited. Now you want to extend
- 30:31the Zaha invite like
- 30:32>> no like no
- 30:33>> what are you have to choose like it is
- 30:36>> that's true and that's okay and she
- 30:38chose yeah and she chose
- 30:41>> and I'm fully going to accept that I've
- 30:43been friends with girls right and then
- 30:44they like choose a guy and it's like
- 30:47guess what y'all just broke up
- 30:50[laughter]
- 30:51>> I mean I don't know their situation but
- 30:52it's like when
- 30:54>> they broke up
- 30:56>> I did not know that
- 30:57>> they broke up now he's in like
- 30:59Isn't he dating like your little sister
- 31:01on Descendants?
- 31:03>> Wow.
- 31:04>> Get him on a leash.
- 31:04>> Everybody around you is like he wants
- 31:06like what?
- 31:07>> Well, wait. I didn't know they broke up.
- 31:09>> Okay, maybe I should knock that out. But
- 31:11I'm like,
- 31:12>> And everyone in the circle like
- 31:13[laughter]
- 31:14[gasps]
- 31:18>> I think when that happens, majority of
- 31:20the time it cuz you know what's going to
- 31:22happen doesn't work out, right? And then
- 31:25they reach out to you again. make it
- 31:27worth it or don't do it period. And I
- 31:29feel like for your situation
- 31:31specifically, he has a reputation where
- 31:34she knew damn well
- 31:36>> we're not getting married,
- 31:37>> dude. And we talked about it. The reason
- 31:39I broke it off was because I knew he was
- 31:42the type of person to do some weird
- 31:44stuff.
- 31:45>> Yeah. And I had a feeling and she knew
- 31:47and we talked about it.
- 31:48>> Why would you choose that when you know
- 31:51you're going to lose my friendship and
- 31:52you going to lose him to somebody else
- 31:54tomorrow? like how you get him is how
- 31:56you lose him every time. Every time.
- 31:59>> Yeah. Like you really have to make that
- 32:00kind of situation I think worth it or
- 32:03like
- 32:04>> you know
- 32:04>> my whole thing is like girl you didn't
- 32:06lost your best friend over this guy and
- 32:08then you break up with him. Like no I
- 32:10would have tried to if I was her I would
- 32:12have tried to stick it out.
- 32:14>> They were together for a while.
- 32:15>> He broke up with her.
- 32:17>> That's the real tea.
- 32:18>> I don't know.
- 32:18>> Don't lie. You know the tea.
- 32:19>> No I don't know the tea.
- 32:20>> I don't I would know. I WAS NEVER
- 32:23[laughter]
- 32:24>> I'M FINDING out with everyone else. I'm
- 32:26over here talk like, "Oh, damn." Like,
- 32:28>> "Oh my god, that's crazy."
- 32:30>> I didn't even know these people until
- 32:32Kylie. So, it's like, "Okay, Kylie start
- 32:34beefing with him and now I'm all into
- 32:37it." And then now I'm into everybody
- 32:38else. And it's like, okay, every
- 32:40interview
- 32:42Tik Tok is over.
- 32:43>> Literally, it's like in the interviews
- 32:45he's all up over the girl and stuff and
- 32:47it's like speculated that like they're
- 32:49dating now.
- 32:50>> I'm going to make a bet. Wait, he's
- 32:52gonna go for the Coven Academy girls
- 32:53next.
- 32:54>> Oh my god,
- 32:55>> he's going descendants. He's moving on.
- 32:58>> He's like already clean. He's like,
- 33:01Jordan, Jordan, run.
- 33:05>> I know Tino Shane to you, but I'm sure
- 33:07you knew his reputation before. And this
- 33:10is
- 33:11[laughter]
- 33:12[gasps]
- 33:13>> so there is a song on the EP called Yuck
- 33:16which is
- 33:17>> I think it's like my accountability song
- 33:20because I am not going to sit here and
- 33:23be like oh my god like I was
- 33:25>> being mean.
- 33:26>> I think that you know there was a piece
- 33:28of me that definitely knew he was a
- 33:32capable capable of being a douche and
- 33:35doing some
- 33:36>> weird
- 33:37>> Yeah. And you know, I think like with
- 33:41that song, it was like me kind of
- 33:43acknowledging the fact like, okay, I am
- 33:46I did pick this person and I definitely
- 33:49have been a questionable
- 33:51picker in the past, so I'm working on
- 33:54it. But I think
- 33:55>> it's okay though. Like we think that we
- 33:57can change people and sometimes you just
- 33:58can't change them.
- 33:59>> Yeah.
- 34:00>> Well, and you make choices like again
- 34:02knowing like this may not go how I want
- 34:05it to go. I'm not talking about if
- 34:06you're going to lose a whole friendship,
- 34:07but when you start dating someone,
- 34:09you're like there's some things off, but
- 34:11like it's a vibe.
- 34:13>> Yeah.
- 34:14>> So, of course, I'm like rosecolored
- 34:16glasses. Like, especially in the
- 34:18beginning, I'm like,
- 34:20you're great.
- 34:22>> Um, but I think that is something that
- 34:24I'm working on.
- 34:26>> Self-awareness is the first the first
- 34:28step to change.
- 34:34My question is, where did the guy go?
- 34:37This was what, like a year ago? Two
- 34:39years ago, when you came on Girl Talk,
- 34:41there was like fine in your DMs.
- 34:44I'm going to say who.
- 34:45>> Oh my gosh, I forgot.
- 34:47>> Let's go back to him.
- 34:48>> He's old though. Is he really old?
- 34:52>> He's probably older now.
- 34:54[laughter]
- 34:55>> I get older, but you los my age. I
- 34:59didn't write that. Taylor Swift did.
- 35:01Okay. Well, just kidding. That's a bar,
- 35:03too.
- 35:04>> Such a bar.
- 35:05>> I would be getting like I'd be plotting
- 35:07my get backs. I'd be like, "Who else on
- 35:08the Descendants cast is T?"
- 35:10>> Oh my god. [laughter]
- 35:11>> Just go date Never mind. I won't say
- 35:13that. I was going to say go date all his
- 35:14friends, but like that's just
- 35:17>> I mean, you did.
- 35:18>> That's why you said that.
- 35:19>> No, I would never ever ever ever do that
- 35:21to my boyfriend currently. Like ever
- 35:23ever ever.
- 35:23>> I'm not saying you did it to the one
- 35:24currently, but you did it to the last
- 35:26one.
- 35:26>> Well, okay. Let's not forget the episode
- 35:28where we were talking about Ian like
- 35:30maybe 300 times. Like the bar was in
- 35:32hell, you guys. Like there was no saving
- 35:34anything at that point. Like
- 35:39>> when I listened to your album, I felt
- 35:41pain for you. I feel like when I met my
- 35:43boyfriend currently,
- 35:45>> he healed such parts of me
- 35:48>> that
- 35:50>> were so hurt by things that have
- 35:52happened in my love life in the past and
- 35:53things that I never thought like could
- 35:55happen to me like he gave me. So I don't
- 35:58even think about those situations like
- 35:59those are forgotten to me cuz that pain
- 36:02>> has been proven to not be true, you
- 36:04know? Cuz I'm always like this is always
- 36:05what's going to be happen to me. like
- 36:06I'm always going to I'm always going to
- 36:08be in a situation and I'm not, you
- 36:10know, like he really just showed me like
- 36:12a man can be loyal, you know, and the
- 36:15girls around me now would never do
- 36:18anything
- 36:19>> to
- 36:21do something weird with my boyfriend or
- 36:22I never feel uncomfortable having my
- 36:24boyfriend around them or anything. So, I
- 36:27mean, of course, like it took me time,
- 36:28but I didn't even remember that
- 36:30situation because I've like grown and
- 36:31healed so much. And I'm like, I would
- 36:33never go back ever to pain or something
- 36:36like that because I'm so happy with
- 36:38where I am now. And I hope that that can
- 36:41happen for you cuz I was like where you
- 36:44are kind of like I just I just pick a
- 36:47mad and it's always going to be like
- 36:48that and
- 36:50>> maybe love isn't for me. Like that was
- 36:51really an idea in my head. And then I
- 36:54feel like I met my current boyfriend and
- 36:56he was like, "No, love is going to be
- 36:58for you and it's going to be with me and
- 37:01I'm going to show you that." And I'm
- 37:03like I'm just like really really
- 37:04grateful for that.
- 37:06>> So sweet.
- 37:07>> Oh, you guys are really cute. I feel
- 37:08like it only takes one person to like
- 37:10>> It takes one your whole perspective.
- 37:13>> My brother might be that for you.
- 37:16[laughter]
- 37:17[gasps]
- 37:17>> You're probably in a state right now of
- 37:19like literally take like don't even
- 37:20>> I'm also like traumatized. I'm like
- 37:22[laughter] literally traumatized and I'm
- 37:23like
- 37:24>> like here we go.
- 37:26>> I can't go through that again.
- 37:28>> So it might take me some time. But
- 37:30>> I wouldn't ever let my brother do like
- 37:31that though.
- 37:32>> I mean when I saw him with the kitty
- 37:33ears I was like he's a sweet little
- 37:36angel. [laughter]
- 37:37>> Like Yeah. Like
- 37:39>> he he watching this video like he's fun.
- 37:42You guys think my brother's fun, right?
- 37:43>> Fun.
- 37:43>> Oh my god. I love your brothers. They're
- 37:45amazing.
- 37:46>> They're amazing. Luke doesn't really
- 37:48talk to me as much as Kaden does, but
- 37:50Luke's cool.
- 37:51>> I have another brother.
- 37:52>> Luke's more chill.
- 37:53>> Okay.
- 37:53>> Yeah. He don't play Kaden. He don't play
- 37:55Ashley. He would never He would never do
- 37:57what your last man did. I'll tell you
- 37:58that.
- 37:59>> So, yeah.
- 38:00>> My brothers were raised right.
- 38:02>> That's good. Yeah. My bar is pretty low.
- 38:03So, um [laughter]
- 38:05>> at the moment,
- 38:06>> but you'll meet someone who changes that
- 38:08bar and you're going to be like, "Wait,
- 38:10my bar is high."
- 38:11>> Yes,
- 38:12>> you ate. My bar is high. I feel like my
- 38:14friends set the bar high cuz I feel like
- 38:16my best friends like they are so amazing
- 38:19and like hold me to that standard and
- 38:22they like never let me forget like oh
- 38:24girl like
- 38:25>> which I think I hope I did that
- 38:27>> you do.
- 38:28>> You guys got that for sure.
- 38:30>> Chariss is like one of your really close
- 38:32like best friend, right?
- 38:33>> I know her cuz she did almost popular
- 38:35with me.
- 38:35>> Yes.
- 38:35>> She's such a sweetheart. Like my best
- 38:39America
- 38:42getting guys, you don't understand how
- 38:44big it is to get third runner up in Miss
- 38:46America. Like
- 38:47>> huge. There's 51 other girls from every
- 38:50state. Like
- 38:51>> it was insane. I went and I watched her
- 38:53get there in the first place. Like dude,
- 38:55she's so talented. She's amazing.
- 38:57>> So pretty. I see why she's like,
- 38:59gorgeous. No, she's like perfect. I
- 39:02literally all the time I'm like rolling
- 39:04with Miss Callie. Like they gave her the
- 39:06key to the city.
- 39:08>> This is my girl. Like it's such a flex
- 39:11for me to be like best friends with her.
- 39:13>> But no, I'm so proud of her. Miss Callie
- 39:15and Miss Valley.
- 39:17>> Get it on t-shirt.
- 39:20>> Oh, Miss Callie. Miss Valley. Yeah,
- 39:22that's us when we rolling out to Katsuya
- 39:25for sushi.
- 39:26>> Oh, Miss Valley.
- 39:28>> You bougie girl.
- 39:29>> I just went for the random sushi spot.
- 39:32>> I got to put you on Valley. That's where
- 39:34That's where the sushi spots are at.
- 39:36More questions. Um, yeah. So, about
- 39:39>> Also, sorry. My neck is like I like blew
- 39:41my neck out during rehearsal.
- 39:43>> So, I feel like that's why I'm like,
- 39:44"Hey,
- 39:45>> no, it's okay. It's okay. You don't have
- 39:46to look at me if you if you like."
- 39:48>> Yes.
- 39:48>> Wait, are you are you practicing for
- 39:50tour?
- 39:51>> Yes.
- 39:52>> Okay. I better see y'all there.
- 39:53>> Yes. We're going to be so proud. Like,
- 39:55>> yeah, we're going to be real together.
- 39:56>> I wish I wish I was at the show at the
- 40:00first one.
- 40:01>> Yes. I wish I was there. And I see N
- 40:03posting it and I'm like, "Bitch, you
- 40:05didn't even tell me. I would have came
- 40:06out here and I would have went." Right.
- 40:08Anyways,
- 40:08>> he gayed.
- 40:09>> Yes, he gayed. I have a question about
- 40:11that night, the space between song and
- 40:14you seen the reaction of the crowd while
- 40:16you were on stage. How were you feeling
- 40:18at that moment?
- 40:18>> It's actually so funny because I had in
- 40:21ears in and this is my first time
- 40:25singing Space Between. I mean, of
- 40:27course, I was like, you know, it's going
- 40:28to be a big moment, I think, because
- 40:30like people saw the track list, they saw
- 40:32Space Between and like people assumed
- 40:35what it would be, you know, about.
- 40:37>> So, but I didn't really have
- 40:38expectations and it wasn't until after
- 40:42cuz when you have in ears in too, like
- 40:45>> these in ears were like custom to my
- 40:48literal ear canal. So, like they're
- 40:50noise cancelling. Like I'm just hearing
- 40:52like the guitar player. I'm hearing me
- 40:54super loud cuz I like like crank up the
- 40:56vocal.
- 40:58>> So, I [clears throat] wasn't hearing all
- 40:59the like oh, it wasn't until I saw
- 41:03videos after
- 41:05>> that I was like listening to the videos
- 41:07and everyone in the crowd is like
- 41:11serving.
- 41:12>> I was like, "Oh shit." Like, this was a
- 41:14crazy reaction that I I didn't even like
- 41:19the messy one. The fans are the messy
- 41:21one,
- 41:21>> right? I'm like, they're messy.
- 41:24>> But I love them. I love my cuties. I
- 41:27know that they'll ride for me. But no,
- 41:29it was it wasn't until I saw the Tik
- 41:30Toks that I was like, "Oh they
- 41:32really were [laughter] loud." Like
- 41:34>> I was just there like
- 41:36>> like I can hear you.
- 41:37>> And it was like in my own world.
- 41:41[music]
- 41:44>> What are my world most excited for with
- 41:46going on tour?
- 41:48>> I mean, now I'm really excited for
- 41:51>> [laughter]
- 41:52>> Now I'm going to have to take out my
- 41:53inears. You guys are going to see me
- 41:54like
- 41:55>> Yeah.
- 41:56>> tune Who give a Space Fish Week,
- 41:58>> right? I'm like
- 42:00>> can't hear
- 42:02>> No, [laughter] but I think just the
- 42:03crowd and like I mean I I've never
- 42:06released a ballad. So cuz I always
- 42:08thought like I'm a dancer like
- 42:10everything, you know, should feel
- 42:11uptempo and fun and party and that was
- 42:14just not the emotional state I was in
- 42:16while writing this. So, I was like, I
- 42:19think I'm going to, you know, create a
- 42:21ballad. And I think most of these songs
- 42:22are going to feel a little more
- 42:24emotional and sad. And
- 42:26>> I think it just connects on like such a
- 42:28such a level when you're looking in the
- 42:30crowd and, you know, girls are are
- 42:32crying and like also sharing their
- 42:34experiences of like I went through the
- 42:36same thing like this is, you know,
- 42:38helping me heal through my situation.
- 42:40Like
- 42:41>> it's so powerful. So, I think space
- 42:44between is one that I'm really really
- 42:46excited especially like the flashlights
- 42:48and
- 42:49>> just feels like we're all together
- 42:51>> connecting. Feels like girlhood in that
- 42:54moment. So, I'm really excited for Space
- 42:56Between.
- 42:58>> But also, I'm excited to do some of my
- 43:00deep cuts, too.
- 43:01>> Do you have new music that's coming out?
- 43:03>> Maybe.
- 43:04>> I'm performing one unreleased song.
- 43:08>> Is it called Holiday End?
- 43:10It's not called Holiday in but it is
- 43:13about it is about the boy.
- 43:14>> Okay.
- 43:15>> You can't get out of this like untamed
- 43:17like right like oh I'm like
- 43:20>> the things that you lied about
- 43:22>> he's not he's not cool so he got one.
- 43:26>> Do you think that
- 43:28if the girl reached out to you
- 43:32>> and said can we figure this out?
- 43:35>> Oh no you want to figure out I'm not
- 43:38asking you. [laughter]
- 43:40She has a point.
- 43:41>> Kylie, you better say exactly what I
- 43:42just said back to her.
- 43:43>> Do you think that it could be something
- 43:46like okay or do you think it's like
- 43:49done?
- 43:49>> No.
- 43:53>> I I don't think we could ever
- 43:56go back to the way things were.
- 44:00But I think [music] if there was a a
- 44:06real intention to apologize and to mend
- 44:12and like accountability, I think if if
- 44:15it [music] was that it would be
- 44:17different.
- 44:18Brooklyn,
- 44:19>> I'm going to get mad.
- 44:21>> No. Okay, stop. No, I
- 44:23>> there is there is a thing called
- 44:26accountability and doing something wrong
- 44:29and e that too. [gasps]
- 44:31>> I think I I am a forgiving person too.
- 44:34Like I don't think I hold grudges.
- 44:36>> Well, and I'm sure part of her own
- 44:37journey is she knows she did something
- 44:40wrong and maybe for her to grow as a
- 44:42person and become better and you don't
- 44:43you don't want that to happen to someone
- 44:45else. Like you know what I mean is like
- 44:47>> her coming to you and saying that. I'm
- 44:49not saying she's going to. I think she
- 44:51should. She hasn't,
- 44:52>> right?
- 44:54[laughter]
- 44:54>> Lol.
- 44:55>> Like I think she should because I know
- 44:56I've had moments [music]
- 44:58>> where I have to take accountability for
- 45:00something. They're also in the industry
- 45:02too. So like I feel like to you know
- 45:04what I mean like to have a conversation
- 45:06where it's like okay would be beneficial
- 45:09for both of you cuz you guys have like
- 45:10you're I'm sure you're going to see each
- 45:12other again. You know what I mean? Like
- 45:13you do work together and whether it's a
- 45:15new set, same set, whatever. You know
- 45:16what I mean? Like I would want to have
- 45:19it not be as like, oh, she's coming,
- 45:22>> right? [music]
- 45:26>> You said that you guys haven't talked.
- 45:28>> Mhm.
- 45:29>> She says
- 45:31that you've had a conversation in the
- 45:34and the situation has been over and she
- 45:36gave you the okay to talk about her in
- 45:38music.
- 45:39>> I don't think she ever spoke about
- 45:41anything,
- 45:42>> but maybe it was
- 45:42>> they lied to you, babe. A
- 45:44>> I don't know. Brooklyn fell for the AI.
- 45:46[laughter] Wait, I think I saw that
- 45:48where like you asked her like, "Hey, can
- 45:49I talk about this in my music?"
- 45:51>> Oh, yeah. No, I I think it was maybe
- 45:54like an interview or something that I
- 45:57did mention I did mention the fact that
- 46:01she did tell me it was okay to write.
- 46:03Like when we were talking like the first
- 46:04time that we had a FaceTime conversation
- 46:08about it
- 46:09>> and I confronted her and
- 46:11>> she denied for like the whole entirety
- 46:13of the conversation and then called me
- 46:15back and was like actually [music]
- 46:17>> yeah something something is going on
- 46:20>> really on FaceTime texted me a couple
- 46:22days later.
- 46:24>> Yeah, that's that's crazy.
- 46:25>> Oh my we're living the same
- 46:27>> I know. literally I'm like
- 46:29>> she said to you like so when she called
- 46:31me back and was and finally admitted
- 46:34after 2 hours of me asking her about it
- 46:36and her denying it finally she was like
- 46:38okay like yes there is something going
- 46:40on um and she was like but like you know
- 46:44we can go to like a rage room together
- 46:47or you know
- 46:48>> you can write a diss track about it like
- 46:50kind of laughing
- 46:52>> and I was like oh okay like okay I
- 46:56probably will Yeah. [laughter] I've also
- 46:58heard you say in an interview that there
- 47:01are kind of like maybe rumors you're not
- 47:03going to do another Descendants.
- 47:04>> Yeah. I mean, I love I love Descendants.
- 47:09I It's been like such a fun experience.
- 47:13I've loved every minute of getting to
- 47:16play Red and like just the platform and
- 47:19of course being a part of the Disney
- 47:21family is so special. Um and like my it
- 47:23was my dream as a kid. [music] Um, but I
- 47:27just think like it's already been 10
- 47:29years that I've been on Disney.
- 47:31>> Damn. Long. I know. It's crazy.
- 47:34>> Yeah.
- 47:35>> It was AI.
- 47:37[laughter]
- 47:40>> Um, but yeah, it's already been 10 years
- 47:43and I think I'm 21 now and like
- 47:46naturally it just feels like the [music]
- 47:48right time to,
- 47:50>> you know, kind of
- 47:52>> grow
- 47:53>> to grow. And you're not supposed to stay
- 47:55the same forever. You're not supposed to
- 47:58>> No one works the same job forever
- 48:00>> 10 years from age 11 to 21. Like so much
- 48:04happens. So much growth happens. [music]
- 48:06And I'm I'm also just really focused on
- 48:08music. And it's very demanding. And I
- 48:10want to give 100% of myself to music.
- 48:14And
- 48:15>> um it's hard to do that when [music]
- 48:17you're like, "Okay, actually I need to
- 48:18go film this movie for 3 months." and
- 48:20then like 3 months of [music] press
- 48:23after and it's a lot to juggle both but
- 48:27>> I'm grateful for it and [music] you know
- 48:30we'll see what happens
- 48:31>> but
- 48:32>> I'm like music mode right now so it's
- 48:35kind of up in the air like
- 48:38>> yeah up in the air like doing you doing
- 48:40focusing on you yeah
- 48:42>> okay so just like a little bit of more
- 48:44about your tour cuz this is going to be
- 48:45something really exciting and like
- 48:46obviously very focused on your music of
- 48:48course Yes.
- 48:50>> Um, we have to go to a show.
- 48:52>> Dude, you guys should like come on stage
- 48:54and like hype up the crowd like
- 48:56beforehand.
- 48:57>> Are you being serious?
- 48:58twerk to the shake my ass.
- 49:00>> Yes.
- 49:01>> Aren't these like children?
- 49:02>> Wait, I'll put it on the fly.
- 49:04>> They're going to cancel all be shaking
- 49:06ass.
- 49:06>> Oh my god.
- 49:08>> Cuz when the fans say I'm going to be
- 49:09like period
- 49:12like they're going to cancel us.
- 49:13>> Hey Brooklyn, can you perform emoji?
- 49:16>> Yes. I will just
- 49:17>> That's my favorite song. What's crazy is
- 49:19I've been telling people like people
- 49:20have been like wanting me to come to
- 49:22like birthday parties and stuff like for
- 49:24their kids and they're like can you
- 49:26perform and I'm just like I don't want
- 49:29to perform but I'll perform for you.
- 49:32>> We just had beef because
- 49:34>> we got invited to open somebody else's
- 49:36tour and then they took it away from us
- 49:37because
- 49:38>> so don't do that to
- 49:39>> they didn't like they were okay with
- 49:40like Sophie or something like I don't
- 49:42know and we like started calling them
- 49:43online and like beat them up. So you
- 49:45can't do that to us. So
- 49:46>> no I absolutely won't. We're going to
- 49:47show them. We're going to show them what
- 49:48they lost.
- 49:52[laughter]
- 49:54>> Slim and thick.
- 49:55>> We should Oh, wait.
- 50:00Slim and thick. Bust down my ass. My
- 50:03coochie in my crack. It's slim and
- 50:05thick. It's slim and thick. You're like
- 50:07trying to move [laughter]
- 50:09it back. It's been a weird thing I've
- 50:12had to juggle, too, cuz when I was on
- 50:13tour last year on the Descendant Zombies
- 50:15tour, I got to do some of my original
- 50:17stuff. But, um, I had to make them
- 50:20clean.
- 50:21>> I had to like clean it up.
- 50:23>> So, like instead of Hands on Me, Want to
- 50:25Feel My Denim, I had to sing Dance with
- 50:27Me, Want to Feel My Denim.
- 50:29>> And for Goodie Bag, it's Be careful, you
- 50:32might catch a body, but I had to change
- 50:33it to be careful, you might catch a
- 50:35hottie.
- 50:37>> But this time, I have to clean it. Yeah.
- 50:39Yeah. I don't have to change it.
- 50:41>> That's turning up.
- 50:42>> See, you're so happy. [laughter]
- 50:44>> So, we're turning up, kids.
- 50:47>> Buckle up. The contract is over.
- 50:49[laughter] Watch out.
- 50:50>> I'll hand my vehicle.
- 50:52>> She's like, she's like Jojo Sua when she
- 50:54like aged up.
- 50:55>> Oh my god.
- 50:55>> Oh my [laughter] god.
- 50:57>> So, tell everyone where we can get
- 50:59tickets to your tour. I'm obsessed with
- 51:01the show already. The coro's sick and
- 51:04I'm just so excited for people to see
- 51:07the entire show and like seeing the
- 51:09valley girl aesthetic come to life.
