10:13I want us to take our next prayer.
10:17And in this season of self territory,
10:21one of the things that
10:24it has been very clear to me, one of the
10:27things that has stood out to me, id say
10:28one of the things that God himself is
10:30kind of like teaching me in this season
10:32is that, you know, when it comes to
10:34salvation, salvation is free. It's
10:36something that has been paid for.
10:38There's not amount of money. There's not
10:40amount of words that there's nothing
10:41that we can do to you know pay the price
10:44that Jesus has already paid for us. And
10:47the Bible will say that you know whom
10:49the son set free is free indeed. And
10:52then here in this verse it says
10:53therefore my beloved as you have always
10:57obeyed not as in my presence only but
11:01now much more in my absence work out
11:04your own salvation with fear and
11:06trembling. And one of the things that
11:08stood out to me is the fact that, you
11:10know, when it comes to salvation,
11:11salvation is free. But when it comes to
11:13you being able to work out your own
11:15salvation, you need the grace of God for
11:18you to be able to do that. Now,
11:20salvation is simply God paying for, you
11:23know, God basically paying for for sin,
11:26for the consequences that we would have
11:28had to basically face if God Jesus
11:30didn't die for us. And so if we think
11:33about our context and what we're dealing
11:35with in this season, which is self
11:37territory, a lot of the things that
11:39we're dealing with, a lot of the things
11:40that we're having to face is as a result
11:42of sin. It's as a result of things that
11:44maybe we have done and we didn't
11:47necessarily obey the will of God or it
11:49is as a result of, you know, people
11:51within our family that decided to take
11:53certain decisions. And so what my prayer
11:56point would be is that you know God will
11:58truly give us the grace to be able to
12:00work out our own salvation. That God
12:02will truly give us the grace. Yes. Once
12:04you receive this healing, once you have
12:07been able to receive this spirit of
12:08forgiveness, are you able to keep up
12:10with that lifestyle? That means are you
12:12be are you going to be able to, you
12:14know, be holy before God? Are you going
12:15to be able to be righteous before God?
12:17Is it something that, you know, happens
12:18today and tomorrow you're forgotten
12:20about it? Is it something that you're
12:22being able to truly work on? Because the
12:25Bible here is saying that you need to be
12:27able to work out your own salvation.
12:30Salvation is something that began and
12:32has finished in the spirit. And we are
12:35now praying and we are now, you know,
12:38waiting for it to manifest in the
12:40spirit. If you, if I can have the NLT
12:42version, please.
12:51It says work hard to show the results of
12:54your salvation. It means that God is not
12:56expecting you to sit on your salvation.
12:59It means that God is not, you know,
13:01didn't die for you to just sit there and
13:03do nothing with your salvation. And
13:05that's why self territory is self
13:07territory is very important because not
13:10only God is asking us to grow out of the
13:12things that we've struggled with most of
13:15our lives. He is it's he's asking us to
13:18ensure that once we receive the
13:19salvation once we've worked upon this
13:23salvation that we also are able to show
13:25the fruits of this salvation. And again
13:28going back to the context of self
13:30territory, not only you need to receive
13:32this healing, other people must be able
13:35to see that actually this is how you
13:37used to be and this is how you are now
13:39as a result of you being able to what?
13:42Show the proof the fruits of your
13:44salvation. And so I want us to pray like
13:46I said salvation is free. Hearing these
13:50preachings are free. Coming to church
13:53it's free. But then what work are you
13:56actually putting on to ensure that this
13:59everything that you're receiving in this
14:00season all the work that you're doing in
14:02this season you're actually you know
14:04making sure that it manifests in the
14:06spirit. Like I said salvation is
14:08something that has already happened in
14:09the spirit. However, it has to touch our
14:12soul. Everything that we're doing in
14:14this season are things that pertains to
14:16our soul. And so we want to pray that
14:18God will give us the grace to actually
14:21be able to work out our salvation. That
14:24once we have received that healing, we
14:26will we will be able to actually hold on
14:28to it and ensure that we constantly work
14:31towards it in the mighty name of Jesus.

1:04:57>> Wonderful. Be seated in the presence of
1:04:59God. We are still on our series self
1:05:03territory. It's our year of occupying
1:05:08and we are laying emphasis
1:05:12that one of the first things the Lord
1:05:13wants us to be able to occupy and what
1:05:16God wants to occupy
1:05:19is the territory called ourselves.
1:05:24I've said several times that
1:05:27revived men, revived territories,
1:05:29restored men, restored territories,
1:05:32transformed men, transformed
1:05:34territories. And the work does not start
1:05:36with what we go and do outside there. It
1:05:39begins with what God does in us. Work on
1:05:42my microphone a bit.
1:05:45So, we've been going through this series
1:05:48and as part of it,
1:05:51we are still studying how the Lord
1:05:55brought restoration and order
1:05:58into a chaotic creation.
1:06:02We established that the first thing that
1:06:03God did was that he confronted chaos.
1:06:07He called forth light. He brought about
1:06:09illumination.
1:06:10And then we said that from there he
1:06:12built structure and he filled the
1:06:14structure.
1:06:15So we went from there to look at
1:06:18illumination. We looked at conviction.
1:06:20We said conviction is when the Lord
1:06:23sheds light on the territory of our
1:06:25soul. We said that when the Lord sheds
1:06:27light and he brings conviction, the
1:06:29objective is not to
1:06:32disgrace us or to humiliate us but is to
1:06:35point towards areas in our lives that
1:06:37needs working on. We read in the book of
1:06:40John 16. The Bible said that when the
1:06:42Holy Spirit comes. His objective is not
1:06:45just to make you shake and give you
1:06:47power for healing signs and wonders. We
1:06:50read the book of John 16. He said
1:06:52another work of the Holy Spirit is that
1:06:54when he comes, he would convict you of
1:06:56sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.
1:06:59And that means that one of the key works
1:07:01of the Holy Spirit in us is that he
1:07:03brings about what we call conviction.
1:07:06When we know the areas of our lives and
1:07:09our heart, the Lord is convicting us on
1:07:11it brings us to a place where we know
1:07:13what he wants us to be able to work on
1:07:15in this season.
1:07:17You know, I said to you many many days
1:07:21ago that if the church does a good work
1:07:24on confronting chaos and working on all
1:07:27of these kind of things, then the world
1:07:28will not do it for us. Tik Tok and all
1:07:31of these people are doing it for us
1:07:32because the church has neglected, you
1:07:36know, the subject of, you know, pruning
1:07:39and and discipline and, you know, the
1:07:42ministry of transformation. And what we
1:07:45are doing is that people are
1:07:47spiritualizing matters of the soul. And
1:07:50that is why it's very important that if
1:07:52you're going to be a generation that is
1:07:53going to last and we are going to walk
1:07:55in integrity and we are going to walk in
1:07:57this integrity of God and work in the
1:08:00integrity of the gospel and work on
1:08:01integrity of the kingdom then one of the
1:08:04things that we cannot neglect to tend is
1:08:07the state of our soul or the state of
1:08:10our emotions. So as part of this series,
1:08:13we now got to the place where we spoke
1:08:15about selfawareness
1:08:17and in the place of speaking
1:08:18self-awareness, we established that
1:08:20there are many things that we need to
1:08:22look at. We looked at self-awareness in
1:08:24a brief sense and then last Sunday we
1:08:27looked at spiritual awareness. Tonight I
1:08:30want us to tackle what I call emotional
1:08:34awareness. And that's why I'm starting
1:08:36this subseries under self territory
1:08:39called emotionology.
1:08:43Are you here?
1:08:44>> Tell somebody we are back into the
1:08:46classroom.
1:08:48So we are going to deal with emotional.
1:08:52Are you here?
1:08:53>> So we are technically going to look at
1:08:55understanding our emotions and how to
1:08:57steward them. Ask someone sitting next
1:08:59to you, are your emotions everywhere?
1:09:01Are your emotions everywhere?
1:09:07Ask them, "Where are your emotions?"
1:09:11Ask them, "Have you been able to
1:09:12compartmentalize your emotions?"
1:09:18Are you here with me? Are you here with
1:09:21me?
1:09:21>> Are you here with me? I said to you on
1:09:24Sunday, I I know I know I'm here, but I
1:09:27hear myself there, not from here, but I
1:09:30know I'm off the stage. So when I get
1:09:32there, I need to hear myself coming
1:09:33through here. I said to you, if it's not
1:09:36on Sunday, I said to you last week,
1:09:38Wednesday, that a lot of people would
1:09:41have been alive now, Prophet Josiah, if
1:09:45people could take hold of their
1:09:46emotions. If people could handle their
1:09:48emotions, some murders would not have
1:09:50happened.
1:09:52Right? If people could handle their
1:09:54emotions well,
1:09:57some some people will not be in the
1:10:00hospital by now. If people could handle
1:10:03their emotions well,
1:10:05certain marriages will still have been
1:10:07working.
1:10:10And and the true sense of mastery of
1:10:13maturity is how a man is able to handle
1:10:19and to steward this thing called
1:10:20emotions. And when I'm talking about
1:10:22emotions, I'm not talking about only
1:10:25negative emotions. I'm not just talking
1:10:27about I'm moody and, you know, I'm
1:10:30angry. I'm even talking about how people
1:10:32steward seasons of happiness.
1:10:37ONE KING CALLED HEROD Antibas [snorts]
1:10:42made one of the most
1:10:45biggest mistakes of his life in the days
1:10:48of John the Baptist.
1:10:50AND THE MISTAKE HEROD ANTIPASS DID WAS
1:10:52THAT when he was happy he overpromised.
1:10:56That's an emotion. Happiness is an
1:10:59emotion. The Bible said that one day as
1:11:02Herod Antipas was YOU KNOW SHOWING HIS
1:11:05KINGDOM YOU KNOW THE DAUGHTER OF HIS
1:11:08WIFE CAME TO DANCE AND WHEN it pleased
1:11:10Herod Antipas
1:11:13as a king he made A STATEMENT AND SAID
1:11:16ASK FOR ANYTHING YOU WANT. ASK EVEN UP
1:11:19TO half of the kingdom I WILL GIVE YOU.
1:11:22HEROD ANTIPAS THOUGHT THE LITTLE GIRL
1:11:24WILL COME AND say I want a Barbie doll.
1:11:28HEROD ANTIPOS THOUGHT THAT THE LITTLE
1:11:30GIRL WILL COME AND SAY I WANT A VACATION
1:11:33AT Disney
1:11:36when HE MADE THAT PROMISE BECAUSE HE WAS
1:11:38HAPPY. THE BIBLE SAYS, "AND THE LITTLE
1:11:40GIRL, THE MOTHER OF THE LITTLE GIRL CAME
1:11:41TO HIM AND SAID, "ASK FOR THE head of
1:11:43John the Baptist on a plate."
1:11:46AND BECAUSE A KING IS BOUND BY HIS
1:11:50WORDS, HE HAD NO OTHER OPTION THAN TO
1:11:52PRESENT THE HEAD OF JOHN THE Baptist on
1:11:54the plate. DO YOU KNOW WHY? He was in
1:11:56emotional ecstasy.
1:12:01SOME OF YOU HAVE OVERPROMISED THINGS YOU
1:12:03CAN'T HANDLE BECAUSE YOU OVEREXITED.
1:12:05Some of you have even promised God.
1:12:08and you're on your way to hell
1:12:10>> if mercy IS NOT SHORT BECAUSE THE
1:12:13WORSHIP AND THE PREACHING SOUND SO GOOD
1:12:16TO YOUR EARS THAT WHEN THEY SAID WE WANT
1:12:18SOMEBODY WHO CAN GIVE $5,000 YOU CAME
1:12:20afford
1:12:22and it's when you got home you recognize
1:12:25this $5,000 I don't know where I'm going
1:12:27to take IT FROM BUT SOMETHING DREW YOU
1:12:29WHY BECAUSE YOU WERE EXCITED WE STUDIED
1:12:32THE BOOK OF ROMANS CHAPTER NUMBER 12 THE
1:12:34VERSE NUMBER THREE PAUL SAID DO NOT GIVE
1:12:37ME GIVE IN THAT SCRIPTURE, HE SAID, "DO
1:12:39NOT THINK OF YOURSELF MORE HIGHLY THAN
1:12:42YOU OUGHT."
1:12:44RIGHT? AND I SAY TO YOU THROUGH THE
1:12:46GRACE GIVEN TO ME, TO EVERYONE WHO IS
1:12:48AMONG YOU, NOT TO THINK OF HIMSELF MORE
1:12:50HIGHLY THAN HE OUGHT, BUT TO THINK
1:12:52SOBERLY. SO I TOLD YOU THAT ON SUNDAY
1:12:56THAT WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT SOMEBODY BEING
1:12:58SOBER, IT MEANS THEY ARE FREE FROM
1:13:01INTOXICATION.
1:13:03IT IS THE ONE THAT IS INTOXICATED THAT
1:13:06IS NOT SOBER. AND SOMETIMES THE ECSTASY
1:13:09AND THE INTOXICATION IS THAT YOU WERE so
1:13:12excited
1:13:14THAT YOU BEGAN TO PROMISE.
1:13:18OH,
1:13:20if if if I leave YOU, I WILL DIE. SOME
1:13:24OF YOU ARE ABOUT to die.
1:13:29SOME OF YOU ON THE JOURNEY OF ABOUT to

1:14:02emotional intoxication. YOU WERE NOT

1:14:07COVENANT BY THE VIRTUE OF YOUR WORDS.
1:14:09YOU PROMISED THINGS YOU CAN'T HANDLE.
1:14:11SOME OF YOU HAVE PROMISED PEOPLE IF THEY
1:14:13LEAVE if you leave them you will die. 5

1:14:20AND JUST LIKE PETER SAID TO THE WIFE of
1:14:26an Ananas, she's called Safhira, right?
1:14:29He said, "The people that collected your
1:14:31husband body, they are around the
1:14:33corner. They are coming."
1:14:37What a what a way for a what an
1:14:39insensitive man of God to look at a
1:14:41widow and say the people that collected
1:14:42your husband's body they are coming to
1:14:44collect your body and she died
1:14:49lift up your right hand say Lord tonight
1:14:51come on come on are you here with me are

1:16:23AGAINST THE ENEMY, SAY, LORD, TONIGHT
1:16:28LET THE VOICE OF THE BLOOD
1:16:32SPEAK REDEMPTION, FORGIVENESS, and
1:16:36deliverance ON MY BEHALF IN JESUS MIGHT.

1:16:48Sit down.
1:16:57I was taught to
1:17:01be careful what I promise when I'm happy
1:17:04and to be careful of what I say when I'm
1:17:08angry.
1:17:13Because emotions don't last, words does.
1:17:19Life and death is in the power of the
1:17:22tongue. And one of the things that can
1:17:25activate life and life and death from
1:17:27your tongue is the state of your
1:17:29emotions.
1:17:30Are you here with me? Are you here with
1:17:33me? Some of you got so offended, you
1:17:36said, "I would never." But you didn't
1:17:37mean it.
1:17:41and and two weeks down the line
1:17:44I will never speak to him again. I will
1:17:47never love him again. I will you
1:17:49recognize that at that time you were in
1:17:52emotional ecstasy.
1:17:55Paul says therefore we have to be sober.
1:17:59We have to be free of intoxication
1:18:06because emotions don't last. But a man
1:18:10or woman's inability to regulate that
1:18:13emotion means that they could sentence
1:18:16themselves to perpetual judgment. That
1:18:17is why some relationships have been
1:18:19destroyed perpetually because emotions
1:18:21were high. WHEN YOUR FATHER'S EMOTION
1:18:24WAS HIGH, HE LEFT THE HOME.
1:18:28And when he was coming back, your mother
1:18:29said, "Well, if you've left, don't come
1:18:31back."
1:18:33Maybe if PEOPLE COULD HAVE MASTERED a
1:18:35bit of their emotions.
1:18:38Emotions are not false.
1:18:41Emotions are not false, but they are not
1:18:43truth either.
1:18:46And the TRUE TEST OF MATURITY IS HOW A
1:18:50MAN CAN SUBMIT their emotions to God's
1:18:53will. Jesus did not deny his emotions.
1:18:57Jesus expressed his motions of anxiety
1:18:59to his disciples. He said, "My soul is
1:19:02sitting sorrowful unto death." HE
1:19:03EXPRESSED HIS FEARS TO GOD. HE SAID, "IF
1:19:06IT IS POSSIBLE, LET THIS CUP, you know,
1:19:09you know, depart from me." HE EXPRESSED
1:19:11A A GENUINE EMOTION BECAUSE A MAN WHO IS
1:19:14GOING TO DIE GENUINELY IS AFRAID.
1:19:17HOWEVER, BECAUSE HE WAS A MATURED MAN,
1:19:19HE SAID, "NEVERTHELESS,
1:19:23NEVERTHELESS, NOT my will, NOT WHAT I'M
1:19:28FEELING, but let your will be done."
1:19:33WHEN WE TALK ABOUT EMOTIONAL MATURITY,
1:19:36WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MEN AND WOMEN THAT
1:19:38WOULD [screaming] BE ABLE TO SUBJECT
1:19:41THEIR WILL TO GOD'S WILL REGARDLESS OF
1:19:44HOW THEY FEEL, whether they are happy or
1:19:47sad.
1:19:49Because emotions don't last. Tell
1:19:51somebody emotions don't last. Oh, tell
1:19:54somebody this thing you are feeling.
1:19:56Tell them this this thing you are
1:19:58feeling.
1:19:59>> No, look at them. Tell them this thing
1:20:00you are feeling. It is temporary.
1:20:04>> Temporary.
1:20:04>> Uhhuh. But if you don't handle it well,
1:20:06it would be eternal.
1:20:12>> Are we ready for some raw things
1:20:14tonight?
1:20:15>> It is in this series that I will deal
1:20:17with. I'll go back to he motions and she
1:20:19emotions.
1:20:22We we'll look at women emotions.
1:20:28You understand what I'm trying to say?
1:20:30Look at men emotions.
1:20:34Jesus expressed emotions. He was happy.
1:20:37He was sad.
1:20:39He wept.
1:20:42So So we are not saying we should not
1:20:44admit our emotions. All of these things
1:20:46with men don't cry and all of that. It's
1:20:49it's not true.
1:20:51You have to cry when you have to cry.
1:20:53The Bible says we should laugh with
1:20:54those who are laughing. We should mourn
1:20:55with those who are mourning. You can cry
1:20:58all you want. That's that is acceptable.
1:20:59What we are trying to say is that in the
1:21:01midst of that emotional ecstasy, ensure
1:21:04that you don't sentence your life to
1:21:06perpetual condemnation because of what
1:21:08you said. Because you can wipe your
1:21:10tears, but it's very easy to clean
1:21:12words.
1:21:15Are you here with me? WE CAN WIPE your
1:21:17tears and we can do makeup.
1:21:20Right. Right. You can wipe your tears.
1:21:24You know, uh Danella can come to my
1:21:26office and cry and and wipe that. And
1:21:28you know some you know what I love about
1:21:30women? They can even cry and laugh at
1:21:32the same time.
1:21:36I've seen people cry and they say I
1:21:39don't know why I'm crying. [laughter]
1:21:42So I don't even know why I'm crying. AND
1:21:45YOU KNOW SOMETHING AS THEY ARE DOING
1:21:47THAT THEY ARE STILL maintaining the
1:21:48integrity of the makeup.
1:21:56THEY CAN FINISH AND THEY HAVE THEY HAVE
1:21:58they have extra they have extra tools in
1:22:01their bag
1:22:03to ensure that after THE TEARS THE
1:22:05MAKEUP stays make up.
1:22:08Some of them will be like pastor do you

1:25:15SO GOD IS NOT TELLING US TO DISMISS OUR
1:25:18EMOTIONS.
1:25:21GOD IS TELLING US TO STEWARD OUR EMOTION
1:25:25SO THAT IN BEING ANGRY WE WILL NOT SIN.
1:25:34Some of us
1:25:36when our emotions are high, there are
1:25:39some of you when your emotions are high,
1:25:42I'm talking about negative emotions,
1:25:43your body can literally be shaking.
1:25:48You can be shaking like
1:25:52a washing machine.
1:25:56Have your washing machine been working
1:25:57in your Have you seen a washing machine
1:25:58working in the kitchen before? There
1:26:01there are DAYS THAT THE WASHING MACHINE
1:26:02CAN I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BUT YOU
1:26:04hear go go go go go go go. Some of you
1:26:07SOME OF YOU WHEN YOU get angry
1:26:11YOU SEE THE WHOLE ESSENCE OF YOUR BEING
1:26:14VIBRATING. THE EMOTION CALLED ANGER IS
1:26:17NOT A FLAW BUT THE VIBRATIONS IN YOUR
1:26:20BODY AS IS AN INDICATION that you lack
1:26:23selfont control. It means that YOU ARE
1:26:25IN A PLACE WHERE YOUR EMOTIONS ARE
1:26:27GETTING the better of you.
1:26:31You know when you study the life of
1:26:33Jesus and and we will use Jesus as a
1:26:35template for emotional intelligence and
1:26:37emotional maturity in this series. When
1:26:39you look at the life of Jesus anytime
1:26:43you know HE WAS CONFRONTED BY CERTAIN
1:26:45SITUATION WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE THE
1:26:47answer the Bible told that immediately
1:26:49he will not answer. Sometimes he will
1:26:51draw,
1:26:53>> sometimes he will write on the ground
1:26:54BECAUSE HE CAN PERCEIVE THAT THE
1:26:56QUESTION IS NOT REALLY ABOUT THE WOMAN.
1:26:58IT IS TO TRAP HIM. AND HE UNDERSTANDS
1:27:01that he must think before he responds.
1:27:04WHEN THE BIBLE SAYS STATEMENTS LIKE BE
1:27:06[screaming] QUICK to hear and SLOW TO
1:27:09SPEAK, IT IS EMOTIONAL MATURITY. BECAUSE
1:27:13IN YOUR ANGER, IN [screaming] YOUR
1:27:15WILLPOWER TO DEFEND YOURSELF, YOU CAN
1:27:18SAY THINGS you can't take back.
1:27:30And you know, you know, you know, you
1:27:33know the justification for lack of
1:27:35emotional maturity. We mix that like
1:27:39this is who I am.
1:27:42This how I feel. We make statements
1:27:44like, "I don't like falsehood. I'm blame
1:27:48blame. I'm this." No, no, no, no, no,
1:27:50no, no. You can exercise restraint and
1:27:53still be wise.
1:27:57There are people who have ended up being
1:27:59wrong even though they were right.
1:28:06Haven't you seen somebody who was
1:28:08cheated on and they murdered somebody?
1:28:10They had justification. They were hurt.
1:28:12They were cheated on. But they ended up
1:28:14in prison because their lack of
1:28:17emotional self-control means that even
1:28:19though they were right, they ended up
1:28:20being wrong.
1:28:23SO IN LIFE, PEOPLE can take their
1:28:26actions, but we are responsible for our
1:28:28reaction.
1:28:30ANYBODY CAN DO ANYTHING, but how you
1:28:33react determines your maturity. THERE
1:28:35ARE CERTAIN SPACES GOD IS NOT BRINGING
1:28:38us in. BECAUSE IF GOD BRINGS US INTO
1:28:40THESE SPACES IN A SEASON OF OCCUPY, THE
1:28:43LORD KNOWS THAT THE ENEMY KNOWS EXACTLY
1:28:46WHAT TO DO. WORK via emotions.
1:28:51Today, you know, my brother, Pastor Jon,
1:28:54came and he, you know, we're having
1:28:55conversations about the challenges of
1:28:58owning this place and maintaining it and

1:29:03know, attached spiritually, physically,

1:29:24essence is to take away your peace.
1:29:27WHEN WHEN THE ENEMY KNOWS HE CAN TAKE
1:29:29AWAY YOUR PEACE, he can take away your
1:29:31consecration. If he can take away your
1:29:33peace, he can take away your maturity.
1:29:34If he can take away your peace, he can
1:29:36even TAKE AWAY YOUR YOUR SALVATION. THE
1:29:38ENEMY KNOWS HOW TO WORK you out till you
1:29:41lose yourself.
1:29:46AND THERE ARE SOME OF US, THE ENEMY IS
1:29:48SAYING, YOU KNOW WHAT? THE ONLY WAY I
1:29:50CAN GET THEM TO DENY GOD, THE ONLY WAY I
1:29:52CAN GET THEM TO SIN, THE ONLY WAY I CAN
1:29:54DESTROY THEIR DESTINY IS THAT LET ME put
1:29:57them in a station where they are
1:29:58emotionally exhausted or let me make
1:30:02them overly excited. Now, now don't just
1:30:05look at the THINGS I'M TALKING ABOUT IN
1:30:07JUST IN THE TERMS OF NEGATIVE EMOTIONS.
1:30:09I'm even talking about what I call
1:30:11emotional ecstasy. REMEMBER I SAID YOU
1:30:14KNOW THAT HEROD ANTIPAS KILLED JUDAS IS
1:30:18IT KILLED JOHN THE BAPTIST BECAUSE HE
1:30:21WAS OVERLY HAPPY.
1:30:28Some of you they just need to give you
1:30:29food. You you reveal all the all the
1:30:32secrets in life.
1:30:35Some of you they just need to give you
1:30:36food and a drink
1:30:39and just put you in a chair and make
1:30:41your life comfortable.
1:30:43You would you would reveal all the
1:30:45secrets of your friends because they
1:30:47just know how to just make you in a
1:30:48place where your emotions are just are
1:30:51just are just done [clears throat]
1:30:55in this season. MAY MAY THE LORD HELP US
1:30:58TO BE emotionally matured.

1:31:16We've seen God angry at what WAS

1:31:21ALL OF THIS ANGER, HE STILL PAUSED TO
1:31:24MAINTAIN A CONVERSATION ACCURATELY. Can
1:31:26you imagine A MAN WHO'S TRAVELING TO
1:31:28DESTROY
1:31:30ANGRY THAT CERTAIN PEOPLE HAVE WED HIM
1:31:33UP AND HE GETS TO THE HOUSE of a
1:31:35righteous man and said let me sit down
1:31:37and eat spend some day let me relax and
1:31:40go. If if if you were angry going to
1:31:43burn your boyfriend's house and your
1:31:45girlfriend's house, you will not EVEN
1:31:47YOU PASS BY MY HOUSE AND you wouldn't
1:31:48EVEN CARE THIS. YOU FORGET THAT HOUSE
1:31:50THE HOUSE YOU ARE PASSING BY to destroy
1:31:52belongs to pastor.
1:32:01this man on his way to go and destroy
1:32:03could stay with Abraham, have meaningful
1:32:06conversations, EMPLOY ABRAHAM INTO A
1:32:09PLACE OF INTERCEDING and all of that

1:33:15CRAZIEST. LISTEN, I'VE DONE THIS THING

1:33:20There's nothing we've not heard.
1:33:25AND THAT'S WHY I SAID TO YOU FROM THE
1:33:26BEGINNING, IF SOME PEOPLE HAD EMOTIONAL
1:33:29MASTERY,
1:33:34there were times in my life that me and
1:33:36patients couldn't seem to talk sit to
1:33:37talk. There were times in my life
1:33:41that the only way to deescalate things
1:33:43is to be is to leave home. And I'm at a
1:33:46place where now we can sit down and have
1:33:48a matured, you know, you do this I
1:33:51didn't like and I'm sat there. Okay. All
1:33:54right. You know, I don't like the way
1:33:55you said this. Okay, I'm sorry. Okay,
1:33:58you too. Okay, I'm sorry. Say, where's
1:34:01the food?
1:34:10AND BECAUSE I'VE LEARNED THAT THE ONLY
1:34:13WAY I WILL STAY [screaming] MARRIED
1:34:18IS THAT I MUST HAVE MASTERY of my
1:34:22emotions.
1:34:32There are days I'm coming to church.
1:34:35I want to strangle Ezekiel. I want to
1:34:37strangle Elijah. I want to strangle
1:34:40Charles. I want to strangle people. And
1:34:43the moment I get there, I'm like, "Hey,
1:34:45if you strangle them, you'll be in the
1:34:47news.
1:34:50You'll be in the news.
1:34:54So I must
1:35:06tell somebody master.
1:35:15I know you are laughing.
1:35:19All right. Run this thing down.
1:35:25THE SOUL OF A MAN, [screaming]

1:36:16IS THAT WE ENGAGE THESE emotions
1:36:21and steward these emotions
1:36:27properly.
1:36:29DAVID WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION IN PSALM
1:36:3142:5. Take me there. Psalm 42:5.
1:36:37Put it on the scripture. HE SAID, "WHY
1:36:40ARE YOU DOWNCAST,
1:36:44oh my soul?"
1:36:51DAVID IS LITERALLY SAYING, "WHY ARE YOU
1:36:53DOWN?
1:36:55WHY ARE YOU ANGRY?"
1:36:57SOMETIMES YOU MUST QUESTION YOUR
1:36:59EMOTION.
1:37:06DAVID SAID, "WHY ARE YOU DOWNCAST?"
1:37:08SOMETIMES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING A BAD MOOD,
1:37:10YOU MUST YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF, "YO,
1:37:13WHY ARE YOU HAVING a bad mood?"
1:37:19DAVID SAID, "WHY ARE YOU DOWNCAST ALL MY
1:37:22[screaming] SOUL? AND WHY ARE YOU
1:37:24DISQUING within me?" THIS IS A MAN THAT
1:37:28UNDERSTOOD MASTERY OF EMOTIONS. IT MEANS
1:37:31THAT WITHOUT AN EXTERNAL THERAPY, DAVID
1:37:34KNEW HOW TO SINK HIS SOUL WITHIN HIM to
1:37:36align.
1:37:40That is a man whose soul and emotions
1:37:41were deceiving him. Then he spoke to he
1:37:43said, "Bless the Lord, oh my soul."
1:37:48Not to the church. He said, "Bless the
1:37:50Lord, oh my soul." He said and and let
1:37:53all that is within not outside because
1:37:56it is what is within that defiles a man.
1:37:58HE SAID LET THAT THAT WHICH IS WITHIN ME
1:38:00BLESS. HE SAID BLESS THE LORD OH MY S
1:38:02AND FORGET not his mean that the
1:38:05THOUGHTS OF GOD IS UNFAITHFUL. THE
1:38:08THOUGHTS OF WHY HAS GOD NEGLECTED ME WAS

1:38:20THAT IS A MAN THAT IS INWARDLOOKING.
1:38:25EMOTIONAL MATURITY IS THAT WE DON'T TRY
1:38:28TO LOOK FOR THE ENEMY OUTSIDE.
1:38:33It is EASY TO BLAME YOUR MOTHER. IT IS
1:38:35EASY TO BLAME YOUR FATHER. IT IS EASY TO
1:38:38BLAME YOUR EX. IT IS EASY. BUT I PROMISE
1:38:40YOU, IF YOU WERE IN THEIR SITUATION, YOU
1:38:42WOULD HAVE DONE probably worse.
1:38:51So this guy David will will pray and say
1:38:53things to God like search me.
1:38:58That is a man that understood that 95%
1:39:01of his issues were inward not outward.
1:39:05WHEN WE HAVE WHEN WE DON'T HAVE THE
1:39:07MASTERY OF WHAT IS INWARD US, WE TRY TO
1:39:10LOOK FOR people outside of us to lay
1:39:13blame on. I'm I'm this because of that.
1:39:17I'm that. AND AND AGAIN, NOBODY IS
1:39:19DOWNPLAYING your experience. But we say
1:39:22that if you are going to come into the
1:39:23place of tell, if you're going to come
1:39:26into THE PLACE OF MATURITY, YOU BEGIN TO
1:39:28LOOK AT WHY AM I reacting this way? NOT
1:39:31NECESSARILY WHAT THEY DID, BUT WHY AM I
1:39:33REACT? SO HE SAID, WHY ARE you downcast?
1:39:38He said, WHY ARE YOU DOWNCAST, OH MY
1:39:41SOUL, and why are YOU DISQUING WITHIN
1:39:43ME? THEN HE SAID TO HIS SOUL, "Cope in
1:39:46God." Now this is THE MAN THAT WHEN
1:39:49EVERYTHING EXTERNALLY WAS AGAINST HIM
1:39:52AND HIS FRIENDS THAT HE HAD GONE TO WAR,
1:39:54THEY HAD COME AND THEY HAD TAKEN YOU
1:39:56KNOW THEIR WIVES AND THEIR CHILDREN
1:39:58INCLUDING HIS WIFE AND HIS CHILDREN.
1:40:00THESE PEOPLE now said we will stone him
1:40:02and the Bible says and he encouraged
1:40:04himself in the Lord. David knew how to
1:40:07TO TO TAKE THE ATTENTION FROM WHO IS
1:40:10DOING what to how am I feeling and what
1:40:13is my soul saying. AND HE UNDERSTOOD
1:40:16THAT HIS SOUL CAN BE A LIAR. HIS
1:40:19EMOTIONS CAN BE A LIAR. SO ANYTIME HE
1:40:22FELT THAT HIS EMOTIONS WERE OUTSIDE OF
1:40:25GOD'S WILL AND INTENT, he would say,
1:40:27"Why are you downcast on my soul? And
1:40:29why are you disquing within me?" He
1:40:31said, "Hope in God." He said, "For I
1:40:33shall yet
1:40:36Ah, you're not here. Do you know WHAT IT
1:40:38MEANS? FOR DAVID SAID, FOR I SHALL YET
1:40:41PRAISE HIM. It means his situation is
1:40:44not praiseworthy.
1:40:47SO WHAT THE WORD I SHALL YET MEANS THAT
1:40:50THE SITUATION IS ANTI- FAVORABLE. BUT IN
1:40:53SPITE OF THAT I SHALL YET PRAISE HIM.
1:40:56LISTEN TO ME. IF YOU CAN GET YOUR
1:40:58EMOTIONS to align to God's will, your
1:41:00environment will align.
1:41:04That's good.
1:41:06>> There are people the devil gives up on.
1:41:09There are certain people the devil has
1:41:11given up ON BECAUSE HE'S RECOGNIZED that
1:41:13there is nothing we would do to this
1:41:15guy. There's nothing we do to this girl.
1:41:17There's nothing we do to this man.
1:41:18There's nothing we do to this woman that
1:41:20would let him deny God, curse God, leave
1:41:23God, you know, be this and that. So, the
1:41:25enemy gets to a place say this guy,
1:41:27let's leave him. There's there are
1:41:29people the enemy cannot break them
1:41:31because because they have their emotions
1:41:34and the masculine.
1:41:36HE SAID FOR I SHALL YET PRAISE HIM FOR
1:41:39THE HELP OF HIS COUNTENANCE. WHY ARE YOU

1:41:47So like I said, THE OBJECTIVE OF GOD IS
1:41:49NOT THAT YOU DISCREDIT YOUR EMOTIONS.
1:41:52BUT GOD WANTS YOU TO ENGAGE them and
1:41:56steward them because you are a living
1:41:59soul. It means that your SOUL HAS EARS.
1:42:02YOUR EMOTIONS CAN CAN UNDERSTAND WHEN
1:42:05YOU SPEAK. YOUR EMOTIONS KNOWS THAT YOU
1:42:07HAVE THE CAPACITY TO KEEP IT UNDER
1:42:09SUBJECTION.
1:42:11Ah haven't you seen people commit murder
1:42:13nicely?
1:42:18I I like all of these. I don't like TV.
1:42:21I don't like television. But when you
1:42:23see me on television, I'm watching weird
1:42:24stuff. I like all of these criminal
1:42:27things. You know, you know, you know,
1:42:29murder and all. I I I I like intelligent
1:42:33stuff. And sometime a woman can be
1:42:35cheated upon and she wants to she wants
1:42:37to murder. and she can keep composure
1:42:41and cook you food and give you the best
1:42:43drink and and take you to the bedroom
1:42:46and handle the business there and DO ALL
1:42:48OF THAT AND THE MAN. SO NOW so now
1:42:51cheating men are actually worried when
1:42:54women are nice.
1:42:59Have you watched all of these things
1:43:00where you know he said me and my wife
1:43:01were fighting the lady will bring the
1:43:03water and the man will say you two drink
1:43:05it

1:43:10There are people that have what we call
1:43:12emotional maturity. In spite of how they
1:43:15feeling, they able to keep a calm
1:43:16countenance that you don't even have the
1:43:19capacity to read how they truly feel
1:43:22until they execute their assignment.
1:43:27SO DAVID ENGAGED HIS SOUL.
1:43:32There are seasons you DON'T TALK TO YOUR
1:43:33MOTHER, YOU TALK TO YOUR SOUL. THERE ARE
1:43:35SEASONS YOU DON'T REPLY YOUR BROTHER,
1:43:37YOU TALK TO YOUR SOUL. There are season
1:43:39you must speak your WORD AND TELL AND
1:43:40TELL YOUR BROTHER YOUR SOUL. WHY ARE YOU
1:43:43so angry because of what my brother
1:43:45said?
1:43:46What wh WHY ARE YOU SO HEATED UP BECAUSE
1:43:49OF WHAT MAMA JUST DID? Be quieted within

1:44:36intoxicated.
1:44:38He said, "Why are you downcast, oh my
1:44:41soul?"
1:44:43Rather stand
1:44:46IN ENGAGING OUR EMOTIONS.
