3. 0:10joining us you were 9 years old when
4. 0:13your village was bombed with Napal
5. 0:15chemicals can you describe to us the
6. 0:18actual what happens with napan
7. 0:21booming um I remember when uh we hiding
8. 0:26in the temple and in the soldier they
9. 0:28heard the airplane
10. 0:30uh coming and then they shouted to us uh
11. 0:34run out run out and they asked the
12. 0:37children run first then I was the one of
13. 0:41them and I remember when I ran uh just
14. 0:45in the front of the temple and I saw the
15. 0:49airplane getting closer and louder then
16. 0:55I saw four bombs Landing down like that
17. 0:59and then and um suddenly I saw the fire
18. 1:03everywhere around me and actually the
19. 1:07fire burned off my
20. 1:10clothes and uh I saw the fire on my left
21. 1:15arm and I use my right hands I rub it
22. 1:19that's why I got all over my burn like
23. 1:23that and at that moment I still remember
24. 1:28my thought I I said oh my goodness I got
25. 1:31burned and I would be ugly so people
26. 1:35will see me different
27. 1:37way but then I stopped that thought and
28. 1:41I was so scared so terrified then I just
29. 1:46ran out of that fire I remember one of
30. 1:50the soldier he gave me some water to
31. 1:53drink then he tried to help me he poured
32. 1:57the water over my body
33. 2:00but uh at that moment I lost my
34. 2:04Consciousness uh because I learned about
35. 2:07Napalm uh when you pouring water on it
36. 2:11just make it burn deeper so it's
37. 2:15horrific burning and the pain was
38. 2:20unbelievable and that's why I lost my
39. 2:23Consciousness you were 14 months in
40. 2:26hospital yes 17 operations
41. 2:30yes did you ever want to die uh actually
42. 2:34yes um I think I was a
43. 2:38child like I suffer great pain and at
44. 2:42that time I just cry and when I couldn't
45. 2:46stand it any longer I would pass out
46. 2:50that it just happened like that and this
47. 2:52happened month after month after month
48. 2:54yes yeah and um I think uh when I was in
49. 3:00the hospital I went through those
50. 3:04operations that just the beginning the
51. 3:07hardest part in my life when I get
52. 3:10better why was that I suffer a lot of
53. 3:14pain a lot of nightmare a lot of trauma
54. 3:19and growing up with that uh pain
55. 3:23suffering um it BW me up so much
56. 3:27hatred every time I look at my
57. 3:31scars I just ask why me it looks so ugly
58. 3:36now it's much better because TW uh 36
59. 3:39years ago right before just black and in
60. 3:44very hard and itching and itchy and and
61. 3:49and and pain all of the whenever I look
62. 3:53at that and because of the
63. 3:56scar I thought I would never have a
64. 4:00boyfriend never get married or even
65. 4:04never have a baby like normal life and I
66. 4:09thank God I was so wrong but a man you
67. 4:12did marry a man did love you yes I thank
68. 4:16God that he brought him to me he just
69. 4:20loved me whoever I am now th this was in
70. 4:25Cuba wasn't it because when you came
71. 4:27home after your many months in hospital
72. 4:31your family helped uh yes definitely my
73. 4:36family uh helped me a lot my mom became
74. 4:39my nurse and uh she uh encouraged me
75. 4:44every moment in her life and I remember
76. 4:48everybody just be there with me they
77. 4:51sacrifice for me they love me they help
78. 4:54me and I remember my hands just like
79. 4:58that is is I I couldn't feel at all and
80. 5:04every time they have a spare time they
81. 5:07come and they help me to open do
82. 5:09exercises for me and I do myself and oh
83. 5:13every day yeah that is the way they love
84. 5:17me can I read a quote uh that you said
85. 5:22it was the fire of the bombs that burned
86. 5:24my body it was the skill of the doctors
87. 5:27that mended my skin but it took the
88. 5:30power of God's love to heal my heart can
89. 5:34you tell me about that how God healed
90. 5:37your heart yes um I give you example
91. 5:43that God gave me a
92. 5:46vision um that I'm a Christian I believe
93. 5:49in Jesus Christ and um all my life I
94. 5:55pray a lot is a power of prayer that God
95. 5:58answer my prayer pray but I also learned
96. 6:02that I have to do something not only
97. 6:05pray and then wait for the blessing
98. 6:08coming but my part I have to do it so
99. 6:12how can I deal with my
100. 6:15hatreds and thank God he gave me um the
101. 6:20the
102. 6:21picture
103. 6:23like my heart it was just like the black
104. 6:28coffee cup
105. 6:31and how I can deal with that black
106. 6:33coffee
107. 6:35cup and I have to poured out that black
108. 6:39coffee every day every day until my cup
109. 6:44became
110. 6:46empty and by his Mercy his grace he
111. 6:51refilled that cup for me with his love
112. 6:55his compassion his wisdom his peace his
113. 6:58Joy
114. 7:00and then he healed my heart I pray for
115. 7:03my
116. 7:05enemies every day the more I pray for my
117. 7:10enemies the softer my heart became I
118. 7:13have to learn how to trust the Lord and
119. 7:18Obey him because he could able to do
120. 7:23impossible thing in my life because he
121. 7:26is able to do that so I read the Bible
122. 7:32uh in Jeremiah uh
123. 7:36333 call upon me then I obey his word
124. 7:42love your enemies do good to them you
125. 7:46met one of your enemies right John
126. 7:49plumber exactly the moment when I met
127. 7:52John plumber in
128. 7:541996 um he told me that he was a
129. 7:58coordinating with the air straight and
130. 8:02uh he came to me he cried like a child
131. 8:05he couldn't stop and he asked me I am so

135. 8:19me and I thank God he healed my
136. 8:24heart I could able to say yes I do
137. 8:28that's why I
138. 8:30here and the moment is Unforgettable
139. 8:33moment in my life that I could able to
140. 8:36do that um and we became best
141. 8:41friend we love each other we pray for
142. 8:45each other we help each other and I
143. 8:48think that is a really
144. 8:50reconciliation by God
145. 8:53raised and I could able to do
146. 8:55that and Kim you're traveling the world
147. 8:58now with with that message of
148. 9:01reconciliation what motivates you to
149. 9:04keep doing that because it's enormous
150. 9:06amount of traveling you're doing if
151. 9:09everyone can learn how to live with true
152. 9:13love hope and
153. 9:15forgiveness if everyone can learn that
154. 9:19we don't need War at
155. 9:21all
156. 9:24and if that little girl can do it so
157. 9:28everyone can do it
158. 9:30too by the grace of
159. 9:33God Kim you're a wonderful inspiration
