  1. 0:00this is the advanced guide to creating
  2. 0:01killer YouTube scripts to blow up your
  3. 0:03channel because what's the secret how do
  4. 0:06these channels systematically craft
  5. 0:07scripts designed to go viral almost
  6. 0:09every single time I mean look at these
  7. 0:12scripts these scripts are engineered
  8. 0:14with psychology and tactics to create
  9. 0:16the most engaging videos I mean come on
  10. 0:18this just sounds like poetry I'm going
  11. 0:20to steal the Declaration of Independence
  12. 0:22but it can't be the scripts it's got to
  13. 0:23be something else right it's probably
  14. 0:25just the gear they're using or maybe
  15. 0:26they have a huge following on Tik Tok or
  16. 0:28they know something we don't and they
  17. 0:30want to keep that knowledge a secret
  18. 0:31well there is a secret but the secret to
  19. 0:34success isn't what you think secret
  20. 0:36lives with Charlotte and without this
  21. 0:39YouTube itself completely falls apart
  22. 0:42good news is it's actually quite simple
  23. 0:44here's the story so it turns out a
  24. 0:46script can be either average great or
  25. 0:48killer and it's not a normal
  26. 0:50distribution most scripts are average
  27. 0:52that's why the vast majority of us are
  28. 0:53stuck under a th000 Subs while a select
  29. 0:55few break a million the quality of
  30. 0:57scripts is vastly different and that's
  31. 0:59why the channel results are vastly
  32. 1:01different and this video will show you
  33. 1:03how to write all three types and yeah
  34. 1:05mainly the killer one but you have to
  35. 1:06write an average script before you write
  36. 1:08a killer script and whether you write
  37. 1:09scripts before you film or you craft
  38. 1:11your story in the edit this video is for
  39. 1:13you and speaking of you if you're new to
  40. 1:15the channel welcome because you're home
  41. 1:17and to be honest we need you subscribers
  42. 1:18to this channel are men and women well
  43. 1:20for some reason mostly men why are there
  44. 1:23so many dudes on this channel she's out
  45. 1:25there subscribers to this channel are
  46. 1:28men and women who love creating videos
  47. 1:30and genuinely want to make themselves
  48. 1:32their families their communities their
  49. 1:34Nations a better place and after being
  50. 1:36nearly a year and a half of being gone
  51. 1:38from YouTube of course the night before
  52. 1:39I film my girlfriend's dog slashed my
  53. 1:42face but I've seriously missed you all
  54. 1:44so much and I'm so excited to finally be
  55. 1:46back on YouTube the secret to YouTube
  56. 1:48scripts and frankly all scripts in
  57. 1:50general is that they're a function of
  58. 1:52two things build intention and this one
  59. 1:56formula should guide every second of
  60. 1:57your script writing process and it's
  61. 1:59what holds all of YouTube together
  62. 2:01what's the one point You're Building
  63. 2:03towards and how do you create tension
  64. 2:05along the way and this is a function
  65. 2:07like however good your build and
  66. 2:09ttention are your video will do average
  67. 2:11great or completely blow up your channel
  68. 2:13it really only takes one video so where
  69. 2:16do we start it's a riddle Bobby Fisher
  70. 2:19the legendary chess champion said
  71. 2:21tactics flow from a superior position so
  72. 2:24while you want to hurry up and start
  73. 2:25writing your whole script that's not
  74. 2:27where we start this killer script you
  75. 2:29see here flowed from a killer outline
  76. 2:32first like an overall Arc for the whole
  77. 2:34story and at its simplest form that Arc
  78. 2:37is just three things the story is
  79. 2:39introduced builds to a climactic peak
  80. 2:42and then resolves so to get started
  81. 2:44don't start writing a script start
  82. 2:46writing an outline and to help me write
  83. 2:48my outlines and my scripts for my videos
  84. 2:50I made this app called Studio Forge
  85. 2:52Google Docs and all that works but I
  86. 2:53just needed a dedicated platform to help
  87. 2:55me make my Youtube video so that's why I
  88. 2:57made this app link below in the
  89. 2:58description look when you start watching
  90. 3:00any other video you'll start noticing
  91. 3:02what's the intro what's the climax
  92. 3:04what's the resolution this is pretty
  93. 3:05simple stuff but almost every YouTuber
  94. 3:07skips this this is the whole foundation
  95. 3:10and without these three things you're
  96. 3:11going to struggle writing a killer
  97. 3:13script good news is it's actually quite
  98. 3:17simple this is Cole Zer Cole makes
  99. 3:20videos helping people get through their
  100. 3:21breakup he makes really authentic
  101. 3:23content that's designed not just to help
  102. 3:25them get their ex back but on how to
  103. 3:27move forward and be a better person and
  104. 3:29live their life more and now just like
  105. 3:31pretty much every Tik tocker he's trying
  106. 3:33to figure out how to get onto YouTube
  107. 3:35it's pretty frustrating what kind of
  108. 3:37ideas do you have so far so I want to
  109. 3:39make a video on six reasons people leave
  110. 3:42the ones they love to just give people
  111. 3:43more understanding about what happened
  112. 3:45in their relationship so let's go ahead
  113. 3:46and create a video from there when you
  114. 3:48have your video ideas laid out in a
  115. 3:50manner like this it becomes really easy
  116. 3:52to just pick one of your ideas and start
  117. 3:53making a video from it oh that's cool
  118. 3:57okay okay playing video do you have a
  119. 3:59thumbnail yet
  120. 4:00nope word title um no have you watched
  121. 4:04any of my videos before we ever start
  122. 4:06with the script we got to come up with
  123. 4:07outline let's go into outline mode this
  124. 4:10is freaking cool this is what the
  125. 4:11average YouTube script looks like
  126. 4:13there's a weak intro like welcome to the
  127. 4:15channel there's hardly any emotional
  128. 4:17Builder Climax and the resolution is
  129. 4:19basically a like And subscribe so this
  130. 4:21is basically like the average YouTube
  131. 4:23video right this is about how far I
  132. 4:24would usually go and then I would just
  133. 4:25set the camera and talk and that that
  134. 4:27works right that'll get you average
  135. 4:29result results but we're here for killer
  136. 4:31results I was waiting for that word
  137. 4:33killer so now the question is how do we
  138. 4:34turn this average script into a great
  139. 4:36script a better intro a better Climax
  140. 4:39and a better conclusion what's the one
  141. 4:41point You're Building towards I have two
  142. 4:43main ideas so one major point is just
  143. 4:45giving people some education explanation
  144. 4:48on what probably happened these are the
  145. 4:49six most common that I've seen the next
  146. 4:51point is to explain to people and
  147. 4:55validate people that did leave for these
  148. 4:57reasons that it's okay that they're not
  149. 5:00the bad guy for choosing to leave a
  150. 5:02situation that wasn't the best for them
  151. 5:04is it okay to have two we may have more
  152. 5:06clarity on what's the one climax we're
  153. 5:08building towards if we do a better job
  154. 5:10on our intro once we know what the hook
  155. 5:12is then we know the answer that it's
  156. 5:15going to be I could tell a personal
  157. 5:17story just about like how I was so
  158. 5:19confused and I would go through
  159. 5:21thousands of different possible
  160. 5:23scenarios in my head of why I got left
  161. 5:25what I might have done wrong the hook is
  162. 5:27I'm so hurting and Confused that climax
  163. 5:30is the answer as to why they left the
  164. 5:32relationship what you do once you have
  165. 5:33it and the conclusion the resolution is
  166. 5:36going to be now that I see this light
  167. 5:38here's how it my story can resolve and I
  168. 5:41can move forward we've got two climaxes
  169. 5:43and I think that that could be a problem
  170. 5:45how can we sum up these two climaxes
  171. 5:47into one killer point that we're trying
  172. 5:49to build towards closure is I think the
  173. 5:51biggest one it's like climax Max I don't
  174. 5:55know how I feel about that how do you
  175. 5:56cut that down into something shorter is
  176. 5:59it closure is it alleviating confusion I
  177. 6:03think the main thing is understanding
  178. 6:05like closure through understanding
  179. 6:07closure through understanding you can
  180. 6:09see that Cole's getting more and more
  181. 6:11clarity as he simplifies what's his
  182. 6:13intro what's his Climax and what's his
  183. 6:16resolution this is a killer outline so
  184. 6:18okay cool how do you feel about it I
  185. 6:19freaking love it so don't write your
  186. 6:21script until you've written your outline
  187. 6:23what's your intro hook what's your
  188. 6:25climactic build and how do you resolve
  189. 6:27the story and ladies and gentlemen when
  190. 6:30you've done the work like this on your
  191. 6:32outline the script just flows naturally
  192. 6:35do you feel like any of the tension is
  193. 6:37going to be lost in the reasons maybe if
  194. 6:39it gets lost in the reasons it could
  195. 6:40kind of die down and then the climax
  196. 6:42wouldn't be as powerful but I think that
  197. 6:43leads perfectly into the next section of
  198. 6:45the video Okay cool so go ahead and
  199. 6:47click script mode
  200. 6:49sweet okay and so now for each of those
  201. 6:52sections we just each of those outline
  202. 6:54sections we made now we can write the
  203. 6:55script lines form that's cool so now
  204. 6:57that we know what we're building towards
  205. 6:59how do we create tension along the way
  206. 7:01listen what's the only reason that
  207. 7:04you'll stop watching a YouTube video
  208. 7:07only if it's boring so pacing keeps that
  209. 7:09viewer engaged and so what's the number
  210. 7:12one easiest way that every YouTuber can
  211. 7:15start improving their pacing start
  212. 7:17cutting cut all those unnecessary lines
  213. 7:19you got to be ruthless like every single
  214. 7:22second of your script should build your
  215. 7:24intro to the climax and if it doesn't
  216. 7:27contribute cut it out every story is
  217. 7:30collapsible to some degree if you're not
  218. 7:32taking out 10% you're not trying very
  219. 7:34hard why take 20 minutes to say
  220. 7:36something when you can say it in five
  221. 7:38anytime I build anticipation for what's
  222. 7:40to come next or should I say open a loop
  223. 7:43I create tension in my video because the
  224. 7:45viewer just like has to close that Loop
  225. 7:47and this constant opening and closing of
  226. 7:49Loops is just the essence of captivating
  227. 7:51writing what makes surfing thrilling is
  228. 7:54carving up and down the face of the wave
  229. 7:56so rather than writing your viewers
  230. 7:58emotions Flatline try to peek up and
  231. 8:01down the full spectrum of emotion make
  232. 8:03them scared make them laugh make them
  233. 8:05angry relieved happy sad crushed nervous
  234. 8:08joyful how can we make this like an
  235. 8:09emotional intro I want to talk about
  236. 8:12sleepless nights and not knowing what
  237. 8:13happened I remember
  238. 8:15pacing the floor and pulling my hair out
  239. 8:20trying to figure out what went wrong I
  240. 8:25could say like this really mattered to
  241. 8:27me if we say this really mattered to me
  242. 8:30that doesn't really open up that much of
  243. 8:32a loop by the end of this video
  244. 8:38finally
  245. 8:40provide you with closure you seek this
  246. 8:44sounds really cool so much better than
  247. 8:47just going into the reasons after saying
  248. 8:49hello this is a script that has built
  249. 8:52it's awes this has build and if you keep
  250. 8:54this up this will have fantastic tension
  251. 8:57too you open Loops you start with an
  252. 8:59intro the whole point of your video is
  253. 9:02building to the one killer Point how to
  254. 9:05get closure through understanding what a
  255. 9:07gift a good writer is to be able to
  256. 9:09accentuate and help us Savor all the
  257. 9:12positive and negative emotions that God
  258. 9:14wants us to feel in this life but all
  259. 9:16these tactics be it pacing tension Loop
  260. 9:18opening cutting and editing flow
  261. 9:20naturally because we had a good outline
  262. 9:23a structure for our writing to flourish
  263. 9:25if you want a killer script to blow up
  264. 9:27your channel what's the one killer Point
  265. 9:29You're Building towards and how are you
  266. 9:31creating killer tension along the way
  267. 9:33anyone can learn this and that's what's
  268. 9:34so cool like it's not just some special
  269. 9:36trait that you have or you don't no
  270. 9:38one's naturally born good at this and
  271. 9:40that's what makes this so fun is you
  272. 9:42just keep practicing and improving and
  273. 9:44seeing your skills get better there's
  274. 9:46one critical part of this function that
  275. 9:47I left out it's invisible and if there
  276. 9:50ever was a secret this is it what are
  277. 9:53the YouTube videos we really enjoy it's
  278. 9:56the ones where the Creator fell in love
  279. 9:58making it what like life can you bring
  280. 10:00to your script what gift is given to you
  281. 10:02so that you can enjoy it yourself and
  282. 10:03share it with your family your community
  283. 10:05and your country I can't tell you how
  284. 10:07many times I'll write a draft for one of
  285. 10:09my scripts and I'll struggle with it
  286. 10:11it'll be overly complex and I just not
  287. 10:13having a good time making it and then
  288. 10:15I'll go to sleep and then I'll wake up
  289. 10:16the next morning and suddenly it hits me
  290. 10:18that I wasn't having fun with it so yeah
  291. 10:21from a marketing perspective I try to
  292. 10:23pick video topics that you'll click on
  293. 10:25and that you'll watch but it's really
  294. 10:27hard for me to make a video that I'm not
  295. 10:30in love with hundreds of you have been
  296. 10:32asking where I'm at why I'm squandering
  297. 10:34my YouTube potential and that's true I
  298. 10:36definitely should have been making
  299. 10:37videos the last year but I feel really
  300. 10:39different since the last time I made a
  301. 10:41video I feel like I've died and been
  302. 10:45reborn I used to be so obsessed with
  303. 10:47productivity and accomplishing goals and
  304. 10:50all these skills that I could learn to
  305. 10:51improve myself and now rather than
  306. 10:53trying to escape from life I'm learning
  307. 10:56that I can escape into life I see all of
  308. 10:58the good that life has to offer and I
  309. 11:01can't get enough of life now something
  310. 11:03or someone is redeeming me and I feel
  311. 11:05like I get to savor all the pain and joy
  312. 11:07life has to offer Rich pain and Rich joy
  313. 11:11and believe it or not this isn't
  314. 11:12entirely off track because your script
  315. 11:14should help people feel pain and joy and
  316. 11:16everything in between so sorry I've been
  317. 11:18gone so long but just know that I've
  318. 11:20missed you and yeah let's get back to
  319. 11:22killer YouTube Scripts
