- 0:00The first kind of controversial thing
- 0:01I'll say, but I'm not trying to provoke
- 0:02controversy, but I'm just trying to get
- 0:03you thinking how I think is I'm actually
- 0:05not a communist, okay? I'm I'm a free
- 0:07market capitalist personally. That's my
- 0:08personal point of view. But that being
- 0:11said, I don't think like I feel like
- 0:13everyone has a point. And even though I
- 0:15don't like want to live under like
- 0:17Chinese or Russian communism, like
- 0:18personally,
- 0:20they do have a point. Okay. What would
- 0:23the point and I think it's important to
- 0:24understand this to first understand the
- 0:26trap that we are often in. So why is it
- 0:30that people So again, I am a free market
- 0:32capitalist. I I believe in, you know, if
- 0:34you work and you build something,
- 0:35someone shouldn't come and get to take
- 0:36that from you because they're lazy,
- 0:38right? But at the same time, why do
- 0:40communists
- 0:42believe in communism? Like what would a
- 0:44communist say is the justification for
- 0:46why they would do like a communist
- 0:47uprising? Like what would they say?
- 0:49>> Because they they have some points.
- 0:51>> Equality for all.
- 0:52>> Equality. Yeah. What else?
- 0:55>> Not everybody is a capitalist. Not
- 0:56everybody wants to build They say
- 0:58they're marginalized.
- 0:59>> Yeah. To be Yeah. A lot of it is like
- 1:01laziness, but there are some good
- 1:03points. Okay. Could anyone think of like
- 1:05a really good point that a a more
- 1:07left-leaning or communist person might
- 1:09have? There are some points in it. Yeah.
- 1:13>> Yeah.
- 1:15>> Okay. Well, here's how I think about it.
- 1:17Okay. Here's the way I think about it.
- 1:19I'm not a communist, but I will admit
- 1:23I have an unfair advantage and Marcel
- 1:26has an unfair advantage because we built
- 1:29businesses at a young age and so we're
- 1:32able to focus on our business 247 if we
- 1:35happen to want for the average person
- 1:38though if you get a job and you're
- 1:41working that job. People talk about 40
- 1:43like 60our weeks, 80 hour weeks, 100
- 1:45hour weeks. I think even a 40-hour week
- 1:47is a lot of work. You know, people like
- 1:48100 hour week. I'm like, what planet are
- 1:50you on? Like eight hours a day when you
- 1:52have 16 hours awake including a commute.
- 1:54That's like that's probably about 11
- 1:56hours. You only have 5 hours yourself.
- 1:57That's a 40-hour work week with only two
- 1:59days off. That's a lot of [ __ ] work.
- 2:01From my perspective, the first thing
- 2:03that you want to understand in
- 2:04entrepreneurship is the trap that you're
- 2:05in. Does that make sense, guys? So, how
- 2:08would you guys describe the trap that
- 2:10almost everybody is in when it comes to
- 2:13uh like entrepreneurship? Like what like
- 2:15what is the block? It's a hamster wheel.
- 2:17I need to chase something constant every
- 2:21single day.
- 2:22>> Yeah. The same thing over and not really
- 2:24feel free.
- 2:25>> Yeah. Like how much energy does the
- 2:27average person have after like you wake
- 2:29you say you wake up at 6:00. You get to
- 2:31work by like 7:30. You work until like 4
- 2:33or 5 p.m. You come home. What do you
- 2:35What's the average person want to do
- 2:36when they get home from a [ __ ]
- 2:38>> Yeah. Like I I don't smoke weed. Yeah. I
- 2:40don't I've never even smoked in my life,
- 2:42but I don't blame people for smoking
- 2:43weed. Like if I had a a regular job, I
- 2:45would smoke [ __ ] weed because
- 2:47like it's tough, you know, right? So I
- 2:50get that, you know, it's it's tough and
- 2:51it's um you know, you and especially if
- 2:54you got a couple kids, like like a woman
- 2:55with a job and kids, like I'm really
- 2:56sure she's going to come home and like
- 2:58start a [ __ ] business like like come
- 2:59on, dude. Like that is really hard.
- 3:01Okay, it's not impossible. Nothing is.
- 3:03But it's it's certainly not just like oh
- 3:05they're some lazy person, right? So what
- 3:07happens is like the way communists see
- 3:08is they're like look like some of these
- 3:10kids have rich parents. they get born
- 3:12into it or maybe some of them happen to
- 3:14like you know gamble on the right stock
- 3:16or you know whatever right or that you
- 3:18know whatever the case they get in and
- 3:20then they have all the leverage while
- 3:22everybody else is working a [ __ ] job or
- 3:24even a what's worse than a [ __ ] job a
- 3:27good job because now it's golden
- 3:28handcuffs some of you guys might have a
- 3:29great job it's hard to leave and it's
- 3:31hard to get out of it right like you do
- 3:32you do seal work was the thing
- 3:33>> I'm a machinist
- 3:34>> a machinist yeah so like when I see you
- 3:37you look a little tired if I'm being
- 3:39honest with you
- 3:40>> maybe Man, I work like
- 3:41>> Well, now you don't look now you look
- 3:42happy, but sometimes when I see you just
- 3:43look like like because I' I I've been
- 3:45knowing him for a little bit, right?
- 3:46Like you kind of just like look like
- 3:46like man like you kind of look like a
- 3:48guy that just came from a week of doing
- 3:49machine work.
- 3:50>> Yeah. Not like in a bad way, but just
- 3:52like you know it's like
- 3:53>> hey we're all grumpy machines get grumpy
- 3:55when they get all
- 3:56>> I bet. Yeah, I get it. So the point
- 3:58being though is like how much energy do
- 4:01you have to like and I'm not trying to
- 4:02limit you but it's just we have to be
- 4:03honest so we can beat we want to be
- 4:05honest about it so that we can beat it.
- 4:07>> So we we want to know what we're up
- 4:08against. My personal philosophy is if
- 4:10we're going to build, then let's build.
- 4:12If we're going to go out and socialize,
- 4:14then let's go out and socialize. If
- 4:16we're going to make money, let's [ __ ]
- 4:18print, okay? Let's print money. If we're
- 4:21going to build a personal brand, let's
- 4:23be the best. That's the kind of
- 4:25philosophy that I have. Whatever we're
- 4:26going to do, let's just do it. Okay?
- 4:28Like Master Yoda, there is no try. Let's
- 4:31actually do it. So, this is the kind of
- 4:33philosophy that I like to spread around
- 4:35the world because what I see is
- 4:37everybody's just playing halfass. So, if
- 4:40you're somebody who wants to play full
- 4:41out, then what I'd suggest to you is
- 4:43come and meet me in person. So, what
- 4:46I'll be doing this year is a series of
- 4:48free events. The four main topics that I
- 4:50cover at the free event. First of all,
- 4:52how to build insane social skills. In
- 4:54other words, how to go out and meet
- 4:56absolutely everybody. Just whoever you
- 4:58want to meet, you just know how to meet
- 4:59them. You know how to bring them into
- 5:01your life. And it's not hard. It's not
- 5:02It's hard. IT'S HARD. IT'S so easy, but
- 5:07you've got to know the right ways to do
- 5:08it. You Second one's how to just print.
- 5:10Okay? You want to just print. You're
- 5:11just ready to be rich. You like money.
- 5:13Well, I want to show you how to make
- 5:14cash. And I will show you a lot about
- 5:16how to make cash. I've done over $100
- 5:17million in sales in my life, and I want
- 5:18to show you how to do the same thing.
- 5:20So, if you like the idea of eight
- 5:21figures, definitely get to this event.
- 5:23The other one is how to build a personal
- 5:25brand. And for me, I've helped other
- 5:27people to build some of the biggest
- 5:28personal brands in the world. If you do
- 5:30some of the people that I were to help
- 5:31that I've helped build personal brands
- 5:33for, it would shock you. And I've also
- 5:34built my own. And last of all, I want to
- 5:36teach you what I kind of call a
- 5:37modern-day enlightenment. How to bring
- 5:39spirituality into your life, but in the
- 5:41modern age, not just sitting in some
- 5:43ashram, but how finding that absolute
- 5:45center point will change everything in
- 5:47your life. Who you attract, what you
- 5:48resonate with, absolutely everything,
- 5:50just being totally unfazed and having
- 5:52endless energy. So, this is what I cover
- 5:54at the free events. Make sure that if
- 5:56you want to be there, that you sign up
- 5:57right now. And here's why. I need you to
- 5:59sign up early. Don't wait until the
- 6:00date. Oh, the date's coming later and
- 6:02then it's just going to be available to
- 6:03me in my free event in my little
- 6:05narcissistic world. The reality is we
- 6:07book these venues many many months out.
- 6:10We need to know exactly who's coming and
- 6:11we can estimate it. But what often what
- 6:13happens that people wait to sign up and
- 6:15you just can't get in. You just can't
- 6:16because the venue is booked and I can't
- 6:18pack it like a sardine sardine can. So
- 6:20it sucks for everybody. Okay. So you've
- 6:21seen the ways that I like to do the
- 6:22venues here in these seminars. I like
- 6:23there to be enough space for everybody,
- 6:25which means that you've got to sign up
- 6:27early and get it reserved now. So, if
- 6:30you're serious about changing your life,
- 6:32click the link below right now. Get
- 6:34signed up right now. So, just do it now.
- 6:37Even if it's later in the year, just get
- 6:39it. Book now. That is off your plate.
- 6:40You don't got to think about it. You
- 6:41start to feel proud of yourself like,
- 6:42"Wow, I saw an opportunity and I
- 6:44actually did it and I feel good about
- 6:46You'll feel good as soon as you click
- 6:47this link. I'm excited to meet you in
- 6:49person at the free event. Click this
- 6:51link. It's going to feel great. As soon
- 6:53as you click it, we'll be shaking hands,
- 6:55meeting up with each other, working
- 6:56together. I'll be giving you feedback,
- 6:57getting to know you, and very, very
- 6:59excited to see you at the free event. We
- 7:01can all get rich, every last one of us.
- 7:04But the first step from my point of
- 7:05view, and I've coached a lot of people
- 7:06on this, is like writing down and
- 7:08getting familiar with the trap that
- 7:09you're in so that you can be honest with
- 7:11yourself about how much time you have.
- 7:13Because I personally believe that the at
- 7:15the foundational level of getting rich,
- 7:16it's a time management game. Okay? It's
- 7:19literally just like, "How many hours do
- 7:21I actually have?" And not lying to
- 7:22yourself like, "Well, I'm going to come
- 7:23home and I've got five hours. I'm use
- 7:24all five." Like, no, you're not. Like,
- 7:26you're not going you're you're probably
- 7:28not going to. I'm not saying you
- 7:29couldn't, but you're probably not going
- 7:30to. So, we have to get realistic about
- 7:32what amount of time you're actually
- 7:33going to use and having some kind of a
- 7:35business model that's realistic to dig
- 7:38yourself out with the time that you do
- 7:39have available. Okay, so that's the
- 7:41first thing. So, just to check here, who
- 7:44here is full-time on their business and
- 7:46who here is trying to carve out time to
- 7:49build a business? So, who here is
- 7:49full-time on their business? Okay. And
- 7:51then who here is trying to carve out
- 7:52time to build a business? Okay. So, it's
- 7:54about it's about 40%. So, for those of
- 7:56you guys that already are full-time on
- 7:57your business, we would have different
- 7:59conversations more about how to optimize
- 8:01that time. But for those of you guys
- 8:03that are stuck in the situation where
- 8:04you have to like pay the bills and keep
- 8:06the lights on and so on, you have
- 8:07obligations. It's something very very
- 8:10challenging for you is figuring out how
- 8:12to dial that in. Okay? That that's not
- 8:13an easy thing to do. So, you have to be
- 8:15very very honest about that. Okay? Like
- 8:18when we taught dating over the years,
- 8:19the biggest problem that a lot of guys
- 8:20have was like cuz we would teach work on
- 8:22your social skills. They didn't have
- 8:23time, right? Like like like we had an I
- 8:26had an unfair advantage because my job
- 8:29was to teach social skills so I could do
- 8:30it all the time. But people who didn't
- 8:32have the time, it's harder, you know,
- 8:34they might get to go out once a week for
- 8:35two hours to work on their social
- 8:36skills. it's harder for them to make
- 8:38progress. So, that's the biggest thing
- 8:39that I've learned is like anyone that
- 8:40gets great results is a master of time.
- 8:43Just even though it's dumb, say that
- 8:44with me. Say master of time.
- 8:47>> Yeah. It's you you have to be a master
- 8:48of time. Like you've got to you've got
- 8:50to get really really good at just seeing
- 8:52um not to be mean. I'm not trying to say
- 8:53in a mean way, but who's wasting your
- 8:54time? Where is your time going? Are
- 8:57things giving you energy and giving you
- 8:58life or are they just dragging your
- 9:00energy down? And unfortunately, you have
- 9:01to be like really really good at that.
- 9:03Like when I teach in at length, we'll do
- 9:05like long form audits where it's like
- 9:06I'll make you write down everything in
- 9:08your [ __ ] life and like granularly
- 9:10look like is that giving you energy and
- 9:11giving you life or is that pulling from
- 9:13you and if it is pulling for you, maybe
- 9:14it's giving you something and it's a
- 9:15fair exchange, but you've got to be
- 9:17honest and you've got to know this stuff
- 9:18like top to bottom. Almost like playing
- 9:19a video game or making a race car and
- 9:21you've got to get the race car very
- 9:22efficient. Okay? It's kind of a funny
- 9:24stereotype in entrepreneur circles where
- 9:26there's like like I cut out this guy, I
- 9:28ditch this guy. like it's like
- 9:29everything gets cut and it's a cliche
- 9:31and it's almost like funny to laugh at
- 9:33how entrepreneurs do this cuz it's so
- 9:34over the top but you kind of have to do
- 9:36that to some extent in order to get back
- 9:39the time you want. Let let me give a
- 9:40simple example. Okay, watch this. So you
- 9:42guys know like I like to travel like
- 9:43Alaska. I like to travel in nature,
- 9:44right? One of the things I would do over
- 9:46the years if I'm working in LA is I have
- 9:48my favorite lunch restaurant which is
- 9:49Coft Alley. I like going to Coft Alley.
- 9:52Now would you say that if a guy's
- 9:53working and making millions of dollars
- 9:54that he deserves to be able to like
- 9:56maybe have a quick lunch at Coft Alley,
- 9:57right?
- 9:59Makes sense, right?
- 10:00>> Well, even that if you look at the math
- 10:02on that craft alley lunch, which is kind
- 10:03of funny to think about, if it's if I'm
- 10:05going to take, you know, 10 minutes to
- 10:07get the Uber, like to to get the Uber to
- 10:09my let's call it five, five minutes to
- 10:10get the Uber to my house and get in the
- 10:12Uber, 15 minutes to like actually get
- 10:13there. So, you're looking at like 20
- 10:14minutes there. You're probably going to
- 10:15wait about 20 minutes for your food. So,
- 10:17now you're at 40 minutes. You're
- 10:18probably going to eat for half an hour,
- 10:20you know, so now you're at an hour and
- 10:2110. And then you're going to go back.
- 10:22You're you're at an hour and a half. But
- 10:23in reality, is it really an hour and a
- 10:25half? You probably also take a minute to
- 10:26get back to work. You're probably
- 10:28looking realistically between the
- 10:29dallying towards getting there and the
- 10:31dallying towards getting back. It's
- 10:32probably about two hours. If you're
- 10:33doing that seven days a week, how many
- 10:35hours is that per year? And remember,
- 10:37we're not we're not awake 24 hours a
- 10:38day. We're awake 16 hours a day on
- 10:40average. So, if we're awake 16 hours a
- 10:41day, multi do the math. Pull your I just
- 10:43want to show you how to look at this.
- 10:44Pull one of you guys pull your phone
- 10:46out. Type in 2 hours times 365. How many
- 10:50hours is that? Two hours time 365.
- 10:52>> 730.
- 10:53>> It's 730 hours a year on Croft Alley.
- 10:56Now, I could have just had had food
- 10:57right there and just eaten while I'm
- 10:59working. So, how many Now, if you're
- 11:00alive for sorry, if you're awake for 16
- 11:02hours a day, how many 16s can fit into
- 11:04that 700, whatever it was, how many 16s
- 11:07fit in there?
- 11:09>> Can someone do the math? I want to I
- 11:10want to get you guys doing these
- 11:11calculations.
- 11:14>> Yep.
- 11:15>> 45.
- 11:16>> So, that means so out of out of a given
- 11:18year of my work year, 45 days is going
- 11:22to Croft Alley. But if you're taking a
- 11:24[ __ ] weekend here or there, 45 days
- 11:26is really what? 60 days. Because you're
- 11:29not working 16 hours a day. So it's
- 11:32really closer to 60 days. Okay? So how
- 11:34are you going to be competitive if
- 11:35you're an entrepreneur when 62 months a
- 11:37year is it go to [ __ ] Croft Alley?
- 11:40You see what I'm saying? So it's this
- 11:42thing where you deserve it, but you kind
- 11:44of, you know, it's kind of whatever,
- 11:45right? Like I'm single right now and
- 11:46like I can tell you like sometimes I'll
- 11:48be dating a girl and like you know we'll
- 11:51have like a lovely night and then she'll
- 11:52sleep over and then like maybe before we
- 11:54go to bed she starts annoying me. I've
- 11:56done this by accident. I didn't even do
- 11:57I think this is really rude so don't
- 11:58judge me but like I've done the point
- 12:00where like I'll wake up and before she
- 12:01wakes up I'm like I need to get out of
- 12:03here and like I'll I'll literally just
- 12:04leave two three,000 bucks on the table
- 12:06just so she can go home like buy
- 12:07yourself a dress like whatever. And I
- 12:09just leave before she even wakes up and
- 12:10it's and he's seen it. Tell him
- 12:13>> it's true. I was last night.
- 12:16>> I always Which one? But the point is
- 12:18this. Okay. But what I'm Okay. But what
- 12:20I'm getting at is this. Okay. But I'm
- 12:22kidding. But anyway, so what I'm getting
- 12:23at though is like it's um uh you you'll
- 12:27be at a point where um like I did that.
- 12:29It was like I feel almost like this like
- 12:31revulsion in me where it's like I've got
- 12:33children. I got a family. I have goals.
- 12:34Like I don't have time to argue with
- 12:36this crazy ass chick, you know? Right.
- 12:37Like she's hot and she's good sex, but
- 12:39like I don't have time for this [ __ ]
- 12:40And I love her to death. Like I still
- 12:41talk to her. I'm not I'm not mad at her,
- 12:43but I just don't have the bandwidth.
- 12:45Okay? If I can't go to [ __ ]
- 12:46Croft Alley, you're not piping off on
- 12:48me, right? And especially with women
- 12:49where they love a rich guy, right? You
- 12:51don't need money to get girls by any
- 12:52means, but they do appreciate when you
- 12:53have it. You don't need it to get a girl
- 12:54at all. But the point is, when you have
- 12:56it, they're they're benefiting from it
- 12:57and then they're going to take away from
- 12:58what you're building. No, if you're
- 12:59going to consume the resources, freaking
- 13:01add something to it. It's like you go
- 13:02camping, don't leave a mess. You know
- 13:03what I'm saying? Like, make the campsite
- 13:05better. So, the thing is like, yeah, I
- 13:07just can't do it. Like if like you'll
- 13:09get to a point with entrepreneurship
- 13:10where you're so instinctively afraid of
- 13:12people that are burning your time down.
- 13:14And I actually believe that people okay
- 13:15I mean this is like shows how deranged I
- 13:17am I guess cuz I have a lot of strange
- 13:19beliefs but I have the belief that
- 13:20there's like a timewasting demon that
- 13:23possesses people. Like I called the time
- 13:24waster demon. Like when I can see that
- 13:26someone's wasting my time I view it as
- 13:27demonic possession. Here's my little
- 13:30theorem. Okay. If you okay now obviously
- 13:32this is much worse but if someone comes
- 13:34and kills you that's obviously murder
- 13:37right? That's murder. Okay. So, if you
- 13:39were to go to like a six-year-old who
- 13:40might have lived till 80 and you were to
- 13:42murder them, you killed someone, right?
- 13:44But why do we tolerate a multitude of
- 13:47people who waste a quarter of that guy's
- 13:49life? That's murder. So, I'm so
- 13:52obnoxious and OCD about this. I view
- 13:54time wasting as actual murder. I'm like,
- 13:56you 5% murdered me. Like, you like Croft
- 14:00Alley like four like murdered 45 days of
- 14:03my life. You see what I'm saying?
- 14:05>> Like, no. No, you're not getting 45 days
- 14:06of my life. It's not happening. And it's
- 14:08not And it's not because I can't enjoy
- 14:09Coft Allery because I can't resolve, you
- 14:11know, a girl being, you know, clapping
- 14:13back at me. It's that I I have too much
- 14:17to live for. I have too many things I
- 14:18love. Like, if you if you start getting
- 14:20h I always tell people, get a hobby. You
- 14:22You might even want to write this down.
- 14:23Like, if I were to ask you guys like, do
- 14:25you have really good hobbies? Use that
- 14:27extra time that you would have wasted on
- 14:29some [ __ ]
- 14:31for your hobby. Like, who here for
- 14:33example has ever just taken a month in
- 14:34Alaska? Anyone here ever done that?
- 14:37Okay, I don't mean to shame you. I'm not
- 14:38I'm not It's not like the Alaska shaming
- 14:40brigade, but like that's so bad. Okay,
- 14:42look listen. You listen to me. Cut the
- 14:44[ __ ] Croft Alley. Cut the time
- 14:46wasting purse you're dating and go to
- 14:47Alaska for a month. You will thank you
- 14:49will be so h that'll be like your
- 14:50favorite thing you learn this weekend.
- 14:51You'll be happy about it. Okay, Alaska
- 14:53is so beautiful. Who has ever spent like
- 14:54a month just in Hawaii? Just go to go to
- 14:56Kawaii, hike the Nepali coast.
- 14:58>> Okay, you ever hiked Nepali?
- 15:00>> Yes.
- 15:00>> Okay, tell them how good Nepali Coast
- 15:02is.
- 15:02>> Pull out your phone right now. Do me a
- 15:04favor. I'm I'm trying to motivate you.
- 15:05Look up Nepali coast, Kawaii. N A P A L
- 15:08I. Okay. N A P A L I coast. Just look at
- 15:13it. What do you want to do? Argue with
- 15:15somebody and eat a salad or do you want
- 15:18to go here? You You could hike in this.
- 15:20>> I flew a helicopter and
- 15:23>> How amazing was it?
- 15:25>> Would you rather do that or argue with
- 15:27someone you're dating?
- 15:29>> Right.
- 15:30>> Would you rather do that? Would you
- 15:32rather go camping in there on the Calala
- 15:34Trail? I' I've probably been in there
- 15:35like 10 times camping for a week or two.
- 15:37So, do you want to do that or do you
- 15:39want to dick around at some [ __ ]
- 15:41restaurant? Do you want to dick Do you
- 15:42want to dick around with this [ __ ]
- 15:44person, right? So, I think for every
- 15:46entrepreneur, have a hobby that you're
- 15:48really, really, really excited about.
- 15:50Like, for example, I take off at least
- 15:51two months every summer to travel with
- 15:53my children. Okay? So, I will literally
- 15:55be like, I want two months. So, like my
- 15:57favorite thing is like I'm with my three
- 15:58sons. We're in like the redwood forest.
- 16:00They're climbing up, you know, they're
- 16:01climbing on these like trees that are
- 16:02falling down that are awesome. You know,
- 16:04or we're like in Montana. I'll get like
- 16:05these big huge [ __ ] like chalets for
- 16:07like 3,000 4,000 bucks a night. I got my
- 16:10kids there. I got the fire going. You
- 16:11know, we're doing hiking and stuff. Like
- 16:12I want to do that. I don't want to sit
- 16:14there arguing with somebody. I don't
- 16:15want to like I I don't need to go to
- 16:17Craft Alley. Like I want to go do that
- 16:18[ __ ] Does that make sense, guys? So
- 16:20yeah. So, you've got to be thinking
- 16:21within a context of like what is it that
- 16:23I like so much that I'm willing to like
- 16:26cut off things like can I cut off all
- 16:28this stuff that's kind of mid that is
- 16:30cool and like you do like maybe you like
- 16:32to go to like a Starbucks type place in
- 16:33the morning for a coffee. Get a pay pay
- 16:36$1,000, go to Best Buy, pay a,000 bucks,
- 16:38pay 2,000 bucks, get a [ __ ] coffee
- 16:40machine, hire someone to make you the
- 16:42[ __ ] coffee. Now, was it a nice
- 16:44ritual to be like, "Ah, it's I'm at the
- 16:46cafe. It's nice." Yeah, I love Dude, I'm
- 16:48human. I love all that stuff. Don't get
- 16:49me wrong, I love that stuff. But if you
- 16:51can get that time back and you can
- 16:53generate money, man, it's going to be
- 16:55just awesome. It's really, really cool.
- 16:57You know, Marcel, he does a really big
- 16:58Shabbat dinner. He's Jewish. He does
- 17:00every Friday he'll do a huge Shabbat
- 17:02dinner. He invites over like 30 people
- 17:04from his community and he puts it on. He
- 17:05pays for everything. He's got a a
- 17:06gorgeous. Who has ever been to Marcel's
- 17:08house? Yeah. Like, do you want to have
- 17:10like do you want to have a If you're
- 17:11Jewish, you want to have a Shabbat
- 17:12dinner with your community on a Friday
- 17:14or do you want to be arguing with
- 17:16somebody or wasting your [ __ ] time?
- 17:18>> Yeah. Right? Because end of the day,
- 17:20everything has a price and it's not just
- 17:22financial. It's also a time, energy, and
- 17:25focus. Okay? So, repeat this after me.
- 17:26I'm going to give you a couple sequences
- 17:27that are simple. I'm gonna add to them.
- 17:29Say, "Time is money."
- 17:32>> Is actually not true.
- 17:35>> Time plus focus is money.
- 17:38>> Time plus focus.
- 17:39>> But that's not even fully true.
- 17:41>> But that's not even fully true.
- 17:42>> Time plus focus plus momentum is money.
- 17:50is money.
- 17:51>> Most money is made
- 17:54>> from a state of flow.
- 17:55>> From a state of flow
- 17:56>> and massive momentum
- 17:57>> and massive momentum
- 17:58>> momentum is money.
- 18:01>> That's what it is. Okay, guys. So, in
- 18:02other words, like I learned this from
- 18:03all the years I taught dating. Like, if
- 18:05you're if you're a guy, right, girls
- 18:06don't deal with all this silly stuff.
- 18:08Guys deal with you guys have your own
- 18:09stuff like all these losers. But the
- 18:11point is like if you if you um if you're
- 18:14a guy and say that you you spent four
- 18:16hours out, right? When you start
- 18:17chatting people, because I always do it
- 18:18sober, when you start chatting people,
- 18:20what's going to happen is like at first
- 18:21you're nervous. So whatever girl that
- 18:23you want to meet, you're not going to
- 18:24meet her in the first 10 minutes because
- 18:25you're nervous. Now if you keep just
- 18:27having cool conversations with people in
- 18:28a social environment, after an hour
- 18:30you're not nervous, but you're maybe not
- 18:31great. But but if you went out out at
- 18:33like 9:30, by the time it's 1:30 in the
- 18:36morning and you've been socializing for
- 18:383 or 4 hours, how social, how funny,
- 18:41charismatic, confident, and flows do you
- 18:43get after 3 hours of fun conversations
- 18:46at a night out in social gathering? How
- 18:47good do you get?
- 18:48>> You're [ __ ] in flow.
- 18:49>> You're in total flow. So yeah, so that
- 18:51same that same girl who like would have
- 18:53shut shot you down, you see her later
- 18:56and you can actually go talk to her. But
- 18:58here's the thing. What if you what if
- 18:59you're pulling your phone up all the
- 19:00time and while you're trying to take a
- 19:02night to get into momentum to talk to go
- 19:03talk to people, maybe meet the love of
- 19:04your life, but now what happens is that
- 19:06you got bad news on the phone and it
- 19:08took you out of flow, you just lost
- 19:10those couple hours that you spent
- 19:12building up getting into a flow state.
- 19:14>> It's a waste.
- 19:14>> It's a waste. So instead, like I tell
- 19:16guys like you know in that third hour if
- 19:18you're out socializing like go get a
- 19:20million phone numbers or Instagrams or
- 19:21go meet someone or go home with them or
- 19:23something. But like find a way to
- 19:24maximize that flow state that you've
- 19:26gotten. If I'm doing videos, I'm just
- 19:28shooting videos. If I'm doing speeches
- 19:29all day, like this is me. Like, who
- 19:31here's ever seen me public speak before?
- 19:32Put your hands up. Okay. How crazy do I
- 19:34get when I'm deeper into my seminars?
- 19:37>> Crazy as [ __ ]
- 19:38>> Yeah. How loud do I get?
- 19:40>> I mean, you're you're the loudest of any
- 19:42human.
- 19:43>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get I get into a
- 19:44flow. It's [ __ ] epic, right?
- 19:46>> Well, thank you. Thank you. I'm excited
- 19:48to meet her. Okay.
- 19:49>> She's single.
- 19:50>> Okay. So, yeah. But but you guys see
- 19:52what I'm saying, right? Like it's like
- 19:53like Okay, we'll talk. So the the but
- 19:56the point being is like if if if I'm
- 19:58doing seminars, right? I know that like
- 20:00in hour three and four, that's when I
- 20:03should be like really turning the like
- 20:04that's when I should be turning the gas
- 20:06on, right? Like I was I had a angry ex-
- 20:08landlord cuz I do huge parties at my
- 20:10house and when I moved out, he wanted to
- 20:11sue me. So he he sued me actually, but
- 20:13it doesn't matter. I paid it off. It was
- 20:14only half a million in damages. But the
- 20:15point being I did a lot of parties.
- 20:17Yeah. But who here was at my event when
- 20:18when they gave me the subpoena right in
- 20:20the middle of the event? Were you guys
- 20:21there? Right. Yeah. And like and and I'm
- 20:23thinking to myself, I'm like this event
- 20:25is not only will I probably do like at
- 20:27least a quarter million at minimum in
- 20:29sales in this event. So like if you
- 20:31think about it, that guy wants to get me
- 20:32for like 500K. In the end, he'll
- 20:34probably get me for like 300 or
- 20:35something, right? But the point is this.
- 20:37If I'm at an event where I could make
- 20:39around 300Kish anyway, and I let that
- 20:42[ __ ] subpoena throw me off, how much
- 20:44more money do I lose?
- 20:46>> All of it.
- 20:46>> Yeah. But in addition, I want to get a
- 20:48badass video. That that event was
- 20:49[ __ ] huge. That was like a sea of
- 20:50people. it look makes me look [ __ ]
- 20:52dope that I've got all these [ __ ]
- 20:53people there. I don't want to I don't
- 20:54want to lose my video either. So, I'm
- 20:56going to make money from the video that
- 20:57I'm creating and I'm going to make money
- 20:58from the event. So, I don't want that to
- 21:00throw me off. So, what you're also going
- 21:02to learn is that when you're putting
- 21:03aside time to work, turn your [ __ ]
- 21:06phone off. Okay? That little [ __ ]
- 21:08[ __ ] sat out there for like 3 hours
- 21:10to finally get past my staff and hand it
- 21:11to me. But the point is, did I show a
- 21:14big reaction when that subpoena got
- 21:15handed to me?
- 21:17>> You want to know why? I'm not letting
- 21:19that guy kill my [ __ ] day, right? I
- 21:21can make money when I'm there and I can
- 21:23uh and I can get a great video. So, I'm
- 21:25not going to let that ruin my day. Okay,
- 21:28that video that I recorded that night
- 21:29got about 100k views and it sent me even
- 21:31way more money than even the seminar
- 21:32did. So, why am I and that was a 3 4hour
- 21:35video to do. If you're doing 100,000
- 21:36views off a three or four hour seminar,
- 21:38you know that that's a valuable [ __ ]
- 21:40video. So, I made money from the video.
- 21:41I made money from the seminar. So, do
- 21:42you guys see it's all about protecting
- 21:44your peace, protecting your time, not
- 21:46because you're selfish, not because
- 21:47you're narcissistic, not because you
- 21:49can't handle friction, but because you
- 21:51make money from from uh handling time,
- 21:53because it's in a state of momentum that
- 21:55you're at your sharpest. Okay? All the
- 21:57money gets made when you set aside time,
- 22:00blocks of time to lock in and actually
- 22:02get things done and generate actual
- 22:04resources. Okay? So everything that I'm
- 22:06doing is like this battle where I'm
- 22:08saying how can I put it like how can I
- 22:10put aside time to make a ton of cash
- 22:13from a flow state or how can I put aside
- 22:15time to do public speaking and do like a
- 22:18killer killer killer killer killer event
- 22:20or how can I put aside time to spend
- 22:22time with my family does that make sense
- 22:24guys or if I want to bring a woman like
- 22:26say I want to do something romantic like
- 22:27there's certain places you maybe you
- 22:28want to go the woman not just your kids
- 22:29well say that you want to go the woman
- 22:31like I'm not just going to pick the most
- 22:33attractive woman that I can
- 22:35I'm going to pick the most peaceful
- 22:37woman that I can meet. Does that make
- 22:39sense, guys? Like, say, okay, say that I
- 22:40want to go to a trip to like Vermont and
- 22:42I'm going to bring a woman with me,
- 22:43right? I don't want to go there and have
- 22:44friction with that girl and then now I
- 22:46come back more fried than I left. So,
- 22:48what kind of woman am I going to choose?
- 22:49So, like if I if I'm going to go take a
- 22:51week off just to go look at some [ __ ]
- 22:52like, I don't know, it's like September,
- 22:54October, there's some red leaves, some
- 22:56yellow leaves, some orange leaves. I'm
- 22:58not making money. I'm just staring at a
- 22:59bunch of [ __ ] leaves. Okay? If I'm
- 23:01going to go stare at [ __ ] leaves for
- 23:0210 days, what kind of what kind of
- 23:04things do I want to have happen by the
- 23:06time I come back? How what kind of
- 23:07emotional state do I want to return from
- 23:08the leaves the leave extravagana from?
- 23:11>> Enlightened.
- 23:12>> Yeah, I want to come back like [ __ ]
- 23:13enlightened, right? Like I want I want
- 23:14to come back basically like if say that
- 23:17you go on a trip like that, right? Say
- 23:18you take a girl to Hawaii, okay? Or girl
- 23:19if you take a guy to Hawaii or he takes
- 23:21you to Hawaii and there's friction.
- 23:23What's even the [ __ ] point? There's
- 23:25literally no point. You want to have
- 23:26good sex, you want to have a good time.
- 23:28You want to enjoy yourself and you want
- 23:30to come back like you want to get it to
- 23:31where when you come back from that
- 23:32vacation. You're almost like over it and
- 23:35wanting to get back to work three days
- 23:37before it ends
- 23:38>> because you're recharged. You're like
- 23:39you're like man like you know this like
- 23:41this was awesome. I feel good. I want to
- 23:44return to work now. I don't want to just
- 23:46keep looking at leaves. This was great.
- 23:47I actually want to go like do some
- 23:49accounting right now because I have so
- 23:50much focus. Right? But if you go on that
- 23:52vacation and the person is like crying
- 23:53and complaining. Look who we've probably
- 23:55all had right where you have someone
- 23:56that you're deeply in love with. like
- 23:57you literally would die for them because
- 23:59they they're not just this annoying
- 24:00person. They have a lot of great
- 24:01qualities. They're like they have
- 24:02qualities that you admire, you're
- 24:03attracted to them, you do enjoy sex with
- 24:05them and you love everything about them.
- 24:07But if there's ongoing friction, you're
- 24:09never able to get lift off. You know,
- 24:11like I've had it where I'm with a girl
- 24:13and uh you know, I love her so much, but
- 24:16my finances are kind of stagnating,
- 24:18right? And we'll break up and even
- 24:20though I miss her and I feel shitty, I
- 24:22feel horrible because I miss her. I
- 24:23watch as my finances triple within six
- 24:26six weeks like within six like I feel
- 24:28horrible and I miss like and I even wish
- 24:30that she'd come back but I'm looking at
- 24:31my bank account I'm like my god I'm
- 24:33making more money because I've removed
- 24:35the cancer. Okay. What's that
- 24:39>> Shakira was like that
- 24:42partnered on her and she
- 24:44>> and then she blew up. Yeah. So the Okay.
- 24:46So the point being is like what'll
- 24:48happen is you have people in your
- 24:50ecosystem that might be poisoning you,
- 24:52but you know who else may be poisoning
- 24:53you? You, right? As Jesus would say,
- 24:56don't judge the chip in your brother's
- 24:57eye when you have a plank in your own
- 24:59eye, you hypocrite. So you've got to
- 25:00look at your own toxicity, right? No
- 25:02one's, you know who your own worst damn
- 25:04enemy is, right? It's yourself, right?
- 25:06It's not just some other person. It's
- 25:07you. So you've got to ask yourself, am I
- 25:09bringing toxicity? And am I my own worst
- 25:12enemy? Right? And and when you do, see,
- 25:14it's sad because what you'll find, okay,
- 25:16this is very very deep what I'm going to
- 25:17say here. What you're going to find is
- 25:19that spiritual beliefs are very
- 25:21subjective and there's no no one has any
- 25:23concrete proof of whatever it is they
- 25:26believe. Like no one has proof of it,
- 25:27right? iPhones didn't exist 20,000 years
- 25:28ago. You know, there was no Snapchat of,
- 25:31you know, these like miracles happening
- 25:32or things like that, right? But we can
- 25:34kind of have conjecture into what we
- 25:35think about spirituality. And one thing
- 25:37that I personally believe, it's just a
- 25:38subjective opinion. I'm not making it
- 25:40dogmatic, is that heaven or hell, like
- 25:43when Jesus talks about heaven or hell,
- 25:45he doesn't just mean a guy with horns
- 25:47and a pitchfork like ah and then like a
- 25:49bunch of angels with clouds like, okay,
- 25:52there's actually degrees of heaven or
- 25:53hell while alive. And what you'll see is
- 25:56people get addicted to I know this
- 25:58sounds crazy to say, but people are
- 26:00addicted to being broke. Like their
- 26:02added level of spiritual development
- 26:04where poverty is where they are. And you
- 26:06know this because they'll say, "Oh, it's
- 26:08a lack of opportunity." But you could
- 26:10literally take them, bring them to your
- 26:12mansion, get them a haircut, give them
- 26:14clothes, get them a job, and still
- 26:16they'll probably skip their job, and
- 26:17you'll find them in your bathroom taking
- 26:19meth. And even and and it's it's because
- 26:21of trauma, right? It's not entirely
- 26:23their fault, right? But, you know, like
- 26:24you think that if you just took a person
- 26:26like off the streets, clean them up,
- 26:27gave them a job, they automatically
- 26:29everything would be fine.
- 26:30>> No.
- 26:30>> No. Because they're not ready yet.
- 26:32They're not done with that level of
- 26:35their own spiritual development. So,
- 26:37what they often teach you is when
- 26:38someone's at a limited level, you can't
- 26:40save them, right? You know, Jake J.Cole,
- 26:42she don't want to be saved. Don't save
- 26:43her. She don't want to be saved. Don't
- 26:45save her. Right? You remember that song?
- 26:47It's real, right? A lot of guys here
- 26:48that got rich can tell you like, you
- 26:50think, yeah, women like money. So, you
- 26:51get to the point you're a
- 26:52multi-millionaire. You have assistance
- 26:53and help everywhere. You're doing trips
- 26:55all the time. The girl literally has
- 26:57like an army of people to help her hand
- 26:59on foot. No friction. you've healed
- 27:02yourself, so you're not giving her
- 27:03friction and you're literally to the
- 27:05point where she'll still get mad all the
- 27:06time. She will get mad the same amount
- 27:08as when she was poor. Like, you could
- 27:11take the girl out of trailer park, you
- 27:12can't take the trailer park out of the
- 27:13girl, right? Like, if she if she
- 27:15probably spent about 3 hours a day being
- 27:18angry when she lived in squalor, she'll
- 27:21still be angry 3 hours a day when
- 27:23there's wealth. But it will be worse
- 27:25because before in the squalor, she had
- 27:27all these little beefs and things that
- 27:28made her a victim. So, it made sense.
- 27:30Now she has nothing, so she has to make
- 27:32[ __ ] up. So that's where you have this
- 27:34like hundred million dollar parade right
- 27:36out your window, but all the person can
- 27:38focus on is there's a fingerprint on the
- 27:39window, right? Like baby, it's it's was
- 27:42it was $100 million to create this, my
- 27:44love. Yeah, BUT THERE'S A FINGERPRINT. I
- 27:46JUST CAN'T ENJOY IT. THE SMUDGE. AH, the
- 27:49smudge. You're like, "My love, I paid
- 27:51hundred million for the parade. Let's
- 27:52just watch the parade." you put your
- 27:54fingerprint on the window and then you
- 27:57realize she would be happier being put
- 27:59back in the metaphorical trailer park so
- 28:01that now she doesn't have to get mad as
- 28:02someone she get mad at something real.
- 28:04Do you guys see what I'm saying? And
- 28:05many women in this room have dated men
- 28:07or samesex couples, have dated people
- 28:09where you've you've seen it up close.
- 28:11Has everyone here seen what that
- 28:13limitation looks like up close?
- 28:15>> You've all seen it, right? Maybe you've
- 28:16been the one doing it.
- 28:16>> Sounds like my last marriage.
- 28:18>> You understand, right? Yeah. And and you
- 28:20realize Yeah. There's there's a mismatch
- 28:22in the spiritual development. That's why
- 28:24someone who's healed is best to date
- 28:26another person who's healed. Like people
- 28:28will say like, "Oh, I'm dating this new
- 28:29person." Like, "Oh, let's see them. Are
- 28:30they hot?" Don't worry if they're
- 28:32[ __ ] hot. Worry if they're going to
- 28:33[ __ ] destroy your life, right? Like,
- 28:35yeah, attraction is is an important part
- 28:37of any relationship, but it should also
- 28:39just be, is this person healed, right?
- 28:40And ask yourself, are you healed? Don't
- 28:42just start pointing at everybody else,
- 28:43right? Don't point at everybody else.
- 28:45Point back at yourself. Now, that
- 28:47healing extends past not only um uh you
- 28:51know, relationships where you know, you
- 28:53take someone out to like a $50,000 trip
- 28:56to Hawaii and they're still crying half
- 28:57the day because they would have been
- 28:58back in their old life. It's not just
- 29:00because they're not healed. So, it
- 29:01doesn't matter what what you do for
- 29:02them. But in addition, it's on yourself.
- 29:05I would challenge you to say that if
- 29:06you're not wealthy yet, that is this is
- 29:09a bit of a stretch and I don't mean to
- 29:10like condescend very real life
- 29:13impediments. So, I don't I'm not taking
- 29:15away from whatever challenges you've had
- 29:16or where you've been hurt, but I believe
- 29:18it's partially spiritual. Partially
- 29:20spiritual. So, in other words, like
- 29:22people will say, um, you know, money is
- 29:25the root of all evil or harder for a
- 29:27camel to go through the eye of a needle
- 29:28than a rich man to go in the kingdom of
- 29:30heaven. There's definitely truth in that
- 29:32that like a lot of the elites, so to
- 29:33speak, and I've coached some of them,
- 29:34are at a point where their entire ego
- 29:36and identity is based around money. I
- 29:38absolutely agree that a lot of evil
- 29:40people ignore like like they can't even
- 29:42just be nice to a waiter. They can't be
- 29:43nice to someone who does Uber. They
- 29:44think they're better than somebody else,
- 29:46right? Which is wrong, right? Like you
- 29:48could tell someone's moral character by
- 29:49how they treat an Uber, how they treat
- 29:51uh, you know, a hotel employee or, you
- 29:52know, things like that. People who like,
- 29:53you know, you you go get your room and
- 29:55you're in and out of that boring
- 29:56interaction in 5 minutes. They're there
- 29:58for 10 hours a day. So like, how you
- 30:00treat that person is your level of
- 30:01evolution as well. That being said
- 30:03though, I also believe that somebody who
- 30:05works at that place could benefit from
- 30:08some evolution. Why are they at a point
- 30:10where they resonate with that? Does that
- 30:12make sense? Look, I don't believe this,
- 30:14so I'm not saying this as a literal
- 30:15truth, but have you ever heard the the
- 30:16expression there's no victims, there's
- 30:17only volunteers? It's a partial truth.
- 30:19There actually are victims. People get
- 30:20victimized every day is horrible. I'm
- 30:22not taking away from that. But have you
- 30:24ever heard the expression where like a
- 30:26lot of the times someone who's like you
- 30:27might have someone who has an abusive
- 30:29ex, well, what kind of person are they
- 30:30going to choose next? Probably
- 30:32>> abusive.
- 30:32>> Probably another one because they
- 30:34haven't healed, right? So they're so
- 30:35they're say the word their compass is
- 30:36[ __ ]
- 30:38>> Yeah. In other words, they're being
- 30:39drawn into situations that will burn
- 30:41down time. You know, I had an employee
- 30:43on the phone the other day and he was he
- 30:44had a little squabble with the other
- 30:45employee. He's like, "Why didn't this
- 30:47guy just say this? Like, why didn't he
- 30:48come to me directly?" I go, "I literally
- 30:50don't care at all. I just want to go
- 30:53make more money." Right? Like like you
- 30:55can't get me to get mad about anything.
- 30:57Like I like I just like my brain's like
- 30:59more money so I can be with my family in
- 31:01Alaska. Like I want I want to be on a
- 31:05private plane flying into Denali
- 31:07Mountain with my children today. So if
- 31:11this is not leading me there, I this is
- 31:13not real to me. Do you guys see what I'm
- 31:15saying?
- 31:16>> Like so so like when I tell people I
- 31:18don't watch regular TV. Look, TV is an
- 31:21art form. There's great TV out there.
- 31:22There's beautiful people that create TV
- 31:23shows, but you can't make me watch TV. I
- 31:26try to watch TV. I'm like, I'm going to
- 31:27watch some TV. I'm like, and then I
- 31:29can't watch it. You know guys have porn
- 31:31addiction. You ever heard of that? You
- 31:33guys have porn addiction?
- 31:34>> No.
- 31:35>> I wish I had a porn addiction. Like,
- 31:37please send me this miraculous porn that
- 31:39I'm I just keep jacking off to all day.
- 31:41Like, what porn are you watching? Like,
- 31:44show me this amazing porn. Like, it's
- 31:45just it's just Yeah. Like, like it's
- 31:46like anime or something. Like, what is
- 31:48this? Like, a guy who just jacks off all
- 31:50day to porn. There is no porn good
- 31:52enough to jack. They're like, "No,
- 31:54because it gives the guy a new stimulus
- 31:55and he can't stop watching." I'm like,
- 31:56"What spiritual condition somebody have
- 31:58to be in that they just jack off all
- 32:00day?" I'm not afraid of porn at all.
- 32:02Okay. Like and same as video games. Like
- 32:03like don't play any video games. Like
- 32:05where is this video game that I'm not
- 32:07going to take my family to Hawaii
- 32:09because I just can't stop playing the
- 32:10video game? Give me that game. Like show
- 32:13me this game that's so amazing that I
- 32:15just cannot stop. Like I just can't stop
- 32:17playing the video game. Okay. So what is
- 32:19that when you see somebody playing a
- 32:20video game and they can't stop? What is
- 32:22that?
- 32:23>> GTA.
- 32:25>> That's an exception. But it's about to
- 32:27shut it's about to shut down the whole
- 32:29we're basically going to be back to co
- 32:30days where no one's outside cuz
- 32:32everyone's playing GTA 6. If you know
- 32:34you know. But the point is like aside
- 32:36from GTA 6. What does it mean if someone
- 32:38plays video games all day? I believe
- 32:40that's spiritual,
- 32:41>> right? There's something in their in
- 32:42their antenna that's saying I'm going to
- 32:44keep play like I'm going to do this
- 32:45thing. See here's the main thing. Okay.
- 32:47I think one of two of the most spiritual
- 32:48words that you could say just repeat the
- 32:50word back to me. Say what else.
- 32:51>> What else?
- 32:52>> In other words, it's not about Croft
- 32:54Alley. It's about what else like what
- 32:57else could you get if you did uh instead
- 33:00of Coft Alley and you got back that 45
- 33:02days well what else could you get right
- 33:04>> with the 45 days right well that extends
- 33:07um even down to like okay so you played
- 33:09video games all day which allowed you to
- 33:10zone out and to disassociate or maybe it
- 33:12was fun video games would be fun
- 33:14>> but what else could you have done with
- 33:16that time you see what I'm saying right
- 33:19you jacked off all day this is the thing
- 33:20by the way guys I know some of the women
- 33:22here like do men do this is like a real
- 33:25Yeah, it's it's called porn addiction.
- 33:26It's it's actually very common in men.
- 33:27>> I haven't heard of it.
- 33:28>> Yeah. But like I like and like I'm l
- 33:30like guys guys are like don't even look
- 33:32at porn. I'm like where where show me
- 33:35this porn? Like where is this like porn
- 33:37where you drop out of your whole life to
- 33:38look at like just look at two people
- 33:40screwing each other and you're like I
- 33:41just can't stop. I just oh I just can't
- 33:44leave my house. Like come on dude. Like
- 33:46that must be some great [ __ ] porn.
- 33:47But the truth is it's not great porn.
- 33:48Why are they doing it?
- 33:51like a mask or like they're just trying
- 33:52to like block out something of their
- 33:54mind.
- 33:54>> I think it's Yeah, I think it's a
- 33:56spiritual condition.
- 33:57>> I I think they're literally so
- 33:59traumatized that they just want to numb
- 34:01out, disassociate, medicate, just zone
- 34:05out. They just want to zone out. Okay.
- 34:08And like and and Yeah. What's that?
- 34:09>> It's like any addiction, right? Drugs.
- 34:11>> Like any Yeah. Yeah. In other words,
- 34:12they're running from it, stuffing it,
- 34:14and medicating it rather than what?
- 34:16Releasing it. So again, say running from
- 34:18it.
- 34:19>> Stuffing it.
- 34:21medicating it.
- 34:21>> Medicating
- 34:22>> rather than what?
- 34:23>> Releasing it.
- 34:24>> Say releasing it.
- 34:25>> Correct. Yep.
- 34:26>> So then
- 34:27>> do you ever have like do you ever stop
- 34:30have a desire to zone out at anyone?
- 34:32>> I do. But the beauty of life is that as
- 34:35you age when you especially if you're
- 34:37like myself and Marcel where you're
- 34:39studying a lot of personal growth, what
- 34:40happens that you realize that the
- 34:42money's made where time plus focus plus
- 34:45momentum is money. And so you realize
- 34:48that if you can train your mind off
- 34:50these basically things that allow you to
- 34:52medicate it, stuff it, run away from it.
- 34:55If you could just release it, let it go,
- 34:58then you'll be more locked in, and then
- 35:01you'll be in a flow state more, then
- 35:03you'll get major money more. And when
- 35:05you have major money more, now you can
- 35:07spend time with your friends and family
- 35:08doing what you care about you now. So,
- 35:11so that's why again, like, you know,
- 35:13I've got a girl saying over, she's
- 35:15clapping back a little, she's chirping a
- 35:16little bit. I wake up and I go and I'm
- 35:18just like, "Fuck, I got to get out of
- 35:19here because I don't even want to stay
- 35:20there to explain why I've got to go."
- 35:24Take if you need $10,000, take it. But
- 35:27I've got to go. Why? Why would I even
- 35:29say 10 grand? I didn't leave 10 grand
- 35:31that time. I probably left about five.
- 35:33But why did I do it?
- 35:35>> Because can I make more than 5,000 in a
- 35:38day if I have my focus?
- 35:40>> Now, here's what's funny. In that one, I
- 35:41was in Savannah. I was in Do you guys
- 35:43know Charleston, North Carolina?
- 35:44>> Yeah. Love Charleston.
- 35:45>> Okay. My two favorite walking cities in
- 35:47America are Charleston, North
- 35:48Charleston, South Carolina. Not
- 35:50Charlotte, but Charleston. Charleston.
- 35:52Nice. Very nice. But Charleston
- 35:53specifically. Who has ever been to
- 35:54Charleston?
- 35:55>> Okay. And who has ever been to Savannah?
- 35:56>> I love Savannah.
- 35:57>> Yeah. Kind of some weird history there,
- 35:58but they're so beautiful. Okay. So, the
- 36:00point being is this. Okay. The two of
- 36:01the best walking cities in the country
- 36:03are Savannah and Charleston. Here's my
- 36:05thing. You know what? You know what real
- 36:06wealth is? When you can go to [ __ ]
- 36:08Savannah with a nice girl because you
- 36:11know, okay, you know, guys talk about
- 36:12sex all the time.
- 36:14Sex is not the beall end all. Great
- 36:17great sex is important, but it's not the
- 36:19beall end all. When you have sex with a
- 36:20woman, what's the average amount of time
- 36:21you have sex with a woman?
- 36:23>> Could be a couple hours if you're really
- 36:24feeling it, right? But what's average?
- 36:26Be honest.
- 36:26>> 30 seconds.
- 36:29>> I'm a 10 seconds. Yeah. So, yeah. But
- 36:32what's average? What's an average amount
- 36:33of time you have sex?
- 36:35>> 10 minutes.
- 36:36>> Could be 10 minutes. Could be half an
- 36:38hour. Could be an hour. But it's like,
- 36:40you know, for a typical couple that's
- 36:41kind of, you know, seeing each other a
- 36:42lot, it's probably 18 minutes or
- 36:44something. You know, what if we were to
- 36:45chat GBT, it's probably 13 minutes,
- 36:47right?
- 36:48>> So, okay, even if you did an hour,
- 36:49right, you you got a lot of lot of
- 36:51testosterone. Point being is that the
- 36:53the quality of a relationship is like
- 36:55can can you go to Savannah, walk down
- 36:58the street holding hands, check out some
- 37:00art galleries, check out, you know, find
- 37:01the path that George Washington walked
- 37:03on, bask in the magic of like, wow,
- 37:06George Washington was here, or whoever,
- 37:08whoever you're a fan of, you know, and
- 37:09like actually like take it in and enjoy
- 37:12the [ __ ] day and have them, not that
- 37:14you need somebody else, but you could be
- 37:16open to someone else bringing their good
- 37:18energy to the table and adding to it,
- 37:20right? So that's the real magic. So like
- 37:22even the case like that was a very very
- 37:24beautiful girl. Like trust me,
- 37:28look, there was definitely a debate
- 37:30between my head and my penis. And my
- 37:32dick was very mad at me when I walked
- 37:34out of that room. But the point is,
- 37:36okay, I'm just being real with you,
- 37:37okay? I'm vulgar, but I'm just being
- 37:38honest. But like, you know, any guy ever
- 37:40felt that way before?
- 37:41>> Oh, yeah.
- 37:41>> Okay. So like, trust me, there's
- 37:43definitely a part of my brain or sorry,
- 37:44another brain that I have that was like,
- 37:46"No, you don't, [ __ ] Oh, no you
- 37:48don't." Because she's there. She she
- 37:50would have shown me a good time in
- 37:51certain respects. But instead of and
- 37:54this is important less about business.
- 37:55Instead of walking through the streets
- 37:57with her, which I wanted, Ibrahim was
- 37:59with me because we we're uh on the other
- 38:01coast running some events and he was
- 38:03planning to stay in work and I decided
- 38:05that Ibrahim was going to make a
- 38:06romantic walk with me for several days
- 38:08in Savannah.
- 38:09>> Okay. And so Ibrahim, what did we do?
- 38:11>> Oh, we went through Savannah, the most
- 38:13beautiful place, some of the oldest
- 38:14buildings in uh North America. Just the
- 38:17history, being able to see even parks
- 38:19out there and you'll see like park after
- 38:21park like it's basically just trees and
- 38:23and lots of historical buildings and
- 38:25each one we even found this one place
- 38:27called the pink house. You ever go to
- 38:29Savannah? Go visit the pink house.
- 38:31You'll definitely love that you did just
- 38:34you know the people there they'll
- 38:35reenact you know history what happened.
- 38:37There was even a lady we met who could
- 38:39sing and uh we were trying to convince
- 38:41her to get on social.
- 38:44>> So do you see what a nice time we had?
- 38:45So, look, Savannah is the kind of place
- 38:47you normally bring a woman, but you know
- 38:49what? I would rather not get laid and
- 38:53bring a dude and bro out over a nice
- 38:56park walk with me and Ibraim than have
- 38:59friction. Why? How did entrepreneurship
- 39:02train my brain on that?
- 39:04>> You lose money anytime you're
- 39:06>> I'm not coming back from a trip
- 39:08depleted.
- 39:09>> Yeah,
- 39:10>> it's not happening.
- 39:11>> You lost all your momentum.
- 39:12>> Yeah. If I'm going to go to Savannah, if
- 39:13I real wealth is being able to go to a
- 39:16place like Savannah, Georgia, which is
- 39:18probably the single best walking city in
- 39:20the country and you could maybe argue
- 39:21New York because it's so huge. They're
- 39:22they're kind of both neck and neck, but
- 39:24Savannah is like a small version and
- 39:25very historical. New York's historical,
- 39:27too. So, the point being though is like
- 39:28for like if you ever want to write a
- 39:29book, do you guys ever feel like you
- 39:32don't want to do some crazy ass [ __ ]
- 39:34uh like vacation and you just want to go
- 39:36somewhere to relax?
- 39:38>> Yeah.
- 39:38>> Sometimes you want that kind of
- 39:40vacation, right? Sometimes you want to
- 39:41do a a a nature excursion, but sometimes
- 39:43you want to relax. A great place would
- 39:45be do like two days in Charleston, three
- 39:47days in Savannah and just lower your
- 39:50cortisol and just walk. Every block's
- 39:53beautiful. There's beautiful history.
- 39:55Every single block, the stores, the
- 39:57trees, if you're there at the right time
- 39:59of year, and you can just chill, okay?
- 40:01And if you want to take it further, you
- 40:02go to Europe. So the point being is like
- 40:05that's real wealth. Okay? Okay, if I
- 40:07take two months off to go with my kids,
- 40:10what is real wealth? Real wealth is like
- 40:12me, my children, and my phone is off.
- 40:16Okay, so you want to build a system.
- 40:18Okay, now people say, "Yeah, I'm turning
- 40:20my phone off." No, no, you don't just
- 40:21get to turn your phone off. What happens
- 40:24if you just randomly turn your phone off
- 40:25when you shouldn't?
- 40:27>> You go bankrupt.
- 40:28>> Okay, people like, "Fuck my phone." I'm
- 40:30like, "No, no, no, no, no, no." Okay.
- 40:33The way you get how do you how do you
- 40:35take yourself out of a business for two
- 40:36months where you can turn your phone
- 40:38off?
- 40:38>> Systems.
- 40:40>> Systems and a backup phone. So you have
- 40:43someone watching it and you say, "Look,
- 40:44if it if it crosses a certain threshold,
- 40:46then call me, right? You don't want to
- 40:48come back. The whole thing's burned
- 40:49down." You're like, "Well, I'M TAKING
- 40:50I'M TURNING MY PHONE OFF." AND NOW
- 40:52YOU'RE bankrupt living in the streets.
- 40:53You're like, "Well, at least I got to
- 40:54turn my phone off." Okay. But do do any
- 40:56do any of you guys find like you um
- 41:00you're you're you try to put aside time
- 41:01but you don't truly get to enjoy it
- 41:03either because of one of the three
- 41:04things. Your business piss you off, your
- 41:07spouse or friends piss you off, or you
- 41:10piss yourself off.
- 41:11>> Yeah.
- 41:11>> Any you guys notice that?
- 41:13>> Real wealth is when you get your
- 41:15business under control. You choose peace
- 41:18in your partner. Okay. Like you date
- 41:20people or get in relation with people
- 41:21who prioritize peace. And and if you
- 41:24have a little bit of what's called
- 41:24rupture repair, that's fine. But it has
- 41:26to be fast resolved. You have a way of
- 41:28resolving and a path to resolution.
- 41:30Doesn't mean you have to like let stuff
- 41:31build. There's like but there's like a
- 41:32healthy way to have some friction that's
- 41:34quick. Maybe some good makeup sex and
- 41:36it's quick. And then the last one is are
- 41:37you attacking yourself in your own
- 41:39brain. Okay. So if you look at Marcel,
- 41:41he's very very good at this. He does not
- 41:42attack himself in his own brain. I've
- 41:44watched Marcel on ups. I've watched
- 41:46Marcel on downs. He's the same guy. I
- 41:47could proudly say I'm pretty much the
- 41:49same. Okay. I probably talked to him a
- 41:51little bit too cuz I'm a little older.
- 41:52So the point being is like like that's
- 41:54real that's real life and he taught it
- 41:56back to me too. We reinforcing each
- 41:57other. We emotionally regulate each
- 41:58other. You want to have friends like
- 41:59that that that irregulate each other.
- 42:01Okay, if I'm being honest with you, just
- 42:03being very blunt. So then from there,
- 42:05okay, now you've got your time doubted
- 42:07in. But again, you've built systems that
- 42:10get you your time back. Now, do you
- 42:12remember I said at the beginning of this
- 42:14talk, I talked about recognizing the
- 42:15trap that you're in. A job like yours is
- 42:18the opposite of what I just described.
- 42:20Do you see how from this position, if
- 42:22I'm in a position where I have calm and
- 42:25peace, time, focus, and achievable
- 42:29momentum, can you guys see why it's easy
- 42:31for me to make cash? Very, very easy.
- 42:34Does that kind of make sense?
- 42:36>> Do you see why it's easy to make money
- 42:38when you have that?
- 42:39>> Do you see it?
- 42:41>> Because if you have a What's your
- 42:42business model?
- 42:45>> Okay. So, do you have a good business
- 42:47model?
- 42:48to find a good business model
- 42:49>> that you're happy with.
- 42:52>> I make a [ __ ] ton of money.
- 42:53>> Sounds like a good business model.
- 42:55>> Yeah. But are you stressed? I guess. Is
- 42:57that what it is? I got you. Okay. So,
- 42:59okay.
- 42:59>> Not my business.
- 43:01>> Yeah. But, you know, if it's making
- 43:02great money, even if it's not your
- 43:03business, fine. But it's just um
- 43:05>> what's that?
- 43:06>> Stress.
- 43:07>> I got you. Okay. You could I'm sure you
- 43:09could uh even maybe after the short
- 43:10talk, you'll probably have some renewed
- 43:12ideas. You're clearly highly
- 43:13intelligent. You could probably fix a
- 43:15lot of it if it was a priority. Yeah.
- 43:18Okay. So, and then we could, you know,
- 43:20have a total paradigm shift if we kept
- 43:21going, right? But we could even fix up
- 43:23today. Okay. Okay. So, then Okay. So,
- 43:25guys, okay. So, can you see why I feel
- 43:29Do you remember I started this this
- 43:30conversation with a strange thing about
- 43:31how uh communists have a point?
- 43:34>> If someone is already rich, like my kids
- 43:38have an unfair advantage. And you know
- 43:40what their unfair advantage is? I'm not
- 43:42giving them any money. My kids will have
- 43:43no money. I I will No, no. I'm spending
- 43:46all my money. I believe in nothing for
- 43:48those kids. Okay. I'm not Okay. Every
- 43:50penny I'm spending. If if I if I know
- 43:52I'm going to die tomorrow, I'm throwing
- 43:53a party, man. I'm getting rid of all of
- 43:54it. They're getting nothing. Okay. But
- 43:57yeah, that's my money.
- 43:59>> What's that?
- 44:00>> The same way.
- 44:00>> Yeah, it's my money.
- 44:02>> Yeah, I'm having fun. They can I'm not
- 44:04Yeah, I'm not I'm not like condescending
- 44:05them, treating them like [ __ ] idiots,
- 44:07right? They're capable. But what is the
- 44:09unfair advantage that my children have
- 44:10that most people are not going to have?
- 44:12>> Abundance environment.
- 44:14>> Calm household. abundance, high vi high
- 44:17high paradigm thinking, uh high
- 44:19vibration, and a spiritual gift, which
- 44:22is being around that high frequency at a
- 44:25high standard. Say high frequency.
- 44:27>> High standard.
- 44:28>> High standard.
- 44:28>> Yeah. So, that's that's more like what
- 44:30they're used to, right? Like my like one
- 44:31of my sons right now is wandering around
- 44:33uh in civil, Spain. Anyone here ever
- 44:34been to Sevil?
- 44:35>> Yeah. Beautiful. Right. So, like, you
- 44:37know, imagine you're a kid, you're 14,
- 44:38you're just you and your friend like
- 44:39unsupervised just wandering around civil
- 44:41Spain. That's going to open your mind up
- 44:42to possibility. It creates a frequency.
- 44:44it creates a standard. So when I say
- 44:46that like I'm not a communist, but I do
- 44:48think communists have a point even
- 44:49though I'm not a comm I I I don't want
- 44:50to go Chinese communism. I want American
- 44:53freedom. But I can see that they do have
- 44:54a point that if someone comes from a bad
- 44:56background and you know there's chaos
- 44:58and then they have and then they have to
- 44:59they have to quickly get out of the
- 45:01household because the household isn't
- 45:02safe. So now they're working from a
- 45:04young age. They've got a 40-hour a week
- 45:05job. Even 40 hour a week, I'm sorry
- 45:07that's a lot. Let alone six or 100, two
- 45:10jobs, whatever. How are you going to
- 45:12build a business? Right? and you're
- 45:13like, "Well, this is America. Pull
- 45:14yourself up by your bootstraps. You're
- 45:16just lazy." They're not lazy. They're
- 45:17working [ __ ] hard. They're exhausted
- 45:19and and there's no foreseeable way out.
- 45:22So, the very first thing I teach before
- 45:24I teach anything else is I teach you to
- 45:27have an honest conversation with
- 45:29yourself about where your time's going,
- 45:31where your focus is going, and how much
- 45:33momentum you're in. So, some of you guys
- 45:35are probably killing this. Some of you
- 45:36guys are in the middle. Some of you guys
- 45:37are struggling. How many hours a week do
- 45:39you guys feel like you're in a clear
- 45:42high momentum state of peace, focus,
- 45:45high momentum where you're not just say
- 45:48say the word not treading water
- 45:51>> but moving the ball down the field
- 45:54>> okay do you guys see the difference
- 45:55>> right so if I feel that what I'm doing
- 45:58is water treading rapidly I try to build
- 46:00a system around it if it's just a
- 46:02sustain right I'm just sustaining I
- 46:05don't want to live like that I don't
- 46:07want to just sustain
- 46:08I want to be moving the ball down the
- 46:10field. Is it Is it um that I'm more at
- 46:14peace because I'm spiritually evolving?
- 46:16Am I educating myself? Am I laughing
- 46:18more? Am I building money? Am I building
- 46:20wealth? Am I building assets? Am I
- 46:23building time with my children? But it
- 46:24has to be there has to be a [ __ ]
- 46:25point. Notice that I'm not one of these
- 46:27like business teachers who's like,
- 46:28"You're going to make the most money,
- 46:30billions and bill." I'm not saying that.
- 46:32I'm not even saying you need to be a
- 46:33billionaire. What I'm saying is you've
- 46:34got to find peace, right? You've got to
- 46:36find happiness and what is happiness?
- 46:38Like what is actual happiness? Once you
- 46:40make enough money, you start to have a
- 46:42lot of weird existential questions. And
- 46:44one of those is like what is actual
- 46:45happiness, right? Like what is [ __ ]
- 46:48What is happiness? Like you know, um I
- 46:50was with a guy last night in a in a
- 46:52backyard in the hood. Okay, I was in the
- 46:54hood last night. So I'm one of those
- 46:55guys where like you'll see me in like,
- 46:57you know, $100 million mansion and
- 46:58you'll see me in South Central LA. I'm a
- 47:00man of the people. I'm in nature where
- 47:02where I have no cloud status at all.
- 47:04I'll be in a rough area. I'll be in a
- 47:06rich area. I to me someone who can only
- 47:08be in some hoyy toy rich area is kind of
- 47:10a [ __ ] Like I don't want to be one of
- 47:12those guys, right? So I'll I I'll hang
- 47:14out in a rough neighborhood. I hang out
- 47:15I'll I'll hang out in like Bandon,
- 47:17Oregon like Whitefish, Montana or
- 47:21Jackson, Wyoming. I mean, some of those
- 47:22are rich areas in nature to be fair. But
- 47:24the point is like, you know, I'll be in
- 47:25the middle of New Mexico at a Denny's
- 47:26and I'll be at like some random table
- 47:27laughing with people there like whose
- 47:29teeth don't even uh fit properly in
- 47:30their mouth. You know what I'm saying?
- 47:31Right. Yeah. And I think it's great. So,
- 47:33you know, so you know, I'll be with a
- 47:34fisherman somewhere just chilling. So,
- 47:35it's like, yeah, I like everybody. I've
- 47:37been all over the [ __ ] place. Real
- 47:39happiness is the capacity to enjoy life
- 47:41for real, not some [ __ ] And that,
- 47:44oh yes, real happiness is not I make
- 47:46more money. That means happiness. Real
- 47:48The guy who I was with, this was what I
- 47:50was going to say. The guy that I was
- 47:51with last night in the hood, he had a
- 47:53backyard. He's in this like cheap suit,
- 47:55but it's like a pajama suit,
- 47:57>> okay? Where like the shirt matches the
- 47:59jacket matches the pants with like these
- 48:01like floral pattern. and he's wasted off
- 48:03his [ __ ] ass and he's rushing and
- 48:05he's in the backyard with a whole bunch
- 48:07of people dancing and he's got a DJ in
- 48:10his cheap ass house in the backyard in
- 48:13his [ __ ] pajama suit with all his
- 48:14friends. That man is rich.
- 48:16>> Okay, he was super happy. He was
- 48:18dancing. He was He was as confident as a
- 48:21celebrity. Didn't give a [ __ ] He was in
- 48:24a flow state. He was smiling. He's about
- 48:2662. That's rich. Okay. So, everyone's
- 48:28always like, "Oh, I have to have, you
- 48:30know, the the Rolex watch or the mansion
- 48:32or whatever." That's just a thing to
- 48:33have. But that guy, I promise you, was
- 48:36way happier than so many people I know
- 48:39who are unable to be happy. Now, that
- 48:41said, I think that if you're high IQ and
- 48:43you're high drive, you can learn to be
- 48:45both financially rich and internally
- 48:46rich. Okay? Because people tend to make
- 48:48it mutually exclusive. I'm like, "Can't
- 48:50we just be rich and happy?" Like, it's
- 48:52like, "No, it's one or the other." Like,
- 48:53that's not true. That is not true. So,
- 48:56in other words, um, uh, happiness comes
- 48:59from many areas, okay? But you, you, as
- 49:01you get older, you have, look, I've been
- 49:03in a house where I'm paying 80,000 a
- 49:04month in rent and I'm miserable. I've
- 49:07had that experience, okay? I know
- 49:09exactly what that's like. So that's what
- 49:11I'm telling you is like like you want to
- 49:12build something that actually is like
- 49:15because you realize like oh this person
- 49:16who's here cannot be happy and it's not
- 49:19their fault and whatever turned them
- 49:21into this is really [ __ ] sad and I've
- 49:23tried to fix it and I can't. Okay, so
- 49:26there's there's a spiritual gap that's
- 49:28there. So you've got to recognize if
- 49:30you're poor, what is the spiritual gap
- 49:32that drew you to waste your time? Why
- 49:35did you resonate with wasting your time?
- 49:37Why did you resonate with situations
- 49:38that are limited? If you talk to Marcel,
- 49:41the joke that I always say, my staff
- 49:42will call Marcel sometimes for like a
- 49:44tech issue. And I'll be like, "Hey,
- 49:45let's get Marcel in three-way." And I'll
- 49:46tell them, "Yo, Marcel likes to move
- 49:48quick. Don't waste his time." They go,
- 49:49"Yeah, I got it." I go, "No, no, no.
- 49:51This is Marcel Klein. Don't waste his
- 49:53[ __ ] time. Just get to the point
- 49:55quickly. Get quickly to the point." So,
- 49:57I'll get Marcel on the phone and my
- 49:58staff will be like, "Hi, Marcel.
- 50:01Uh, it's Alex.
- 50:04I work with Owen
- 50:07and we had a look at some of your
- 50:09systems and you know we were auditing
- 50:12it. By that time Marcel hung the phone
- 50:14up.
- 50:15>> But you know what's funny about Marcel?
- 50:18You're thinking that he hung the phone
- 50:19up like what's this [ __ ] Click.
- 50:21That would imply he even knows what he's
- 50:23doing.
- 50:25That's not the Marcel I know and love.
- 50:27The Marcel I know and love would be like
- 50:31Eddie would forget that he was on the
- 50:32phone. his brain will literally zone
- 50:35out. Okay? He his brain can if this
- 50:39guy's going to sit there making him wait
- 50:40for a minute to get to the point, he
- 50:42views his time as so expensive that he
- 50:44will forget the person exists.
- 50:47Do you remember I said that when that
- 50:48when I had the girl saying over and I
- 50:50just felt like I have to get out? It's
- 50:52like a compulsion. I'm not meant to be
- 50:55here. This is like say this. We live in
- 50:57the same physical reality.
- 51:01>> But human beings
- 51:03>> live in different
- 51:05>> energetic realities.
- 51:07>> So when I can feel that I'm in that
- 51:08hotel with that girl is getting a little
- 51:10clappy. I'm like, I'm not meant to be
- 51:14here. Like I don't resonate with this.
- 51:16This is not where I meant to be. I
- 51:17cannot be here. I like if you were right
- 51:20now in a really really dangerous place
- 51:21in the third world, what would your
- 51:22brain be telling you?
- 51:24>> Get the [ __ ] out. Right? So, I'm not
- 51:26trying to take away from their
- 51:27experience, but at a certain point, like
- 51:30again, I I actually believe that there
- 51:31are victims in life. I I don't I don't
- 51:33literally think there's no victims.
- 51:34There's only volunteers, but there's
- 51:37partial truth in that statement, not
- 51:38entire truth. To a certain extent,
- 51:41someone chooses it. Okay? They're
- 51:43actively choosing for that in
- 51:46themselves. Okay? So, you've got to ask
- 51:48yourself, what am I choosing? How do I
- 51:51value my time? What am I putting my time
- 51:53into? What am I where is my time, focus,
- 51:55and momentum? So, if I were to ask you
- 51:57guys here, each I'm going to ask each
- 51:58one of you one by one very quickly. How
- 52:01many hours a week do you have in high
- 52:04focus? Okay, blocked off time, cleared
- 52:07time with no distraction, phone [ __ ]
- 52:09off, people that are annoying away from
- 52:12you.
- 52:13High focus, high momentum. How many
- 52:17hours a week do each of you guys get to
- 52:20work on something that's not your
- 52:21primary job? that's just keeping the the
- 52:23lights in the building on, but something
- 52:25that is expanding your income or moving
- 52:28your life experience forward. How many
- 52:29hours would you say?
- 52:30>> And say it loud so everyone can hear,
- 52:32please.
- 52:32>> Now.
- 52:33>> Yeah. Loud and fast. Don't do the Marcel
- 52:34thing that I showed you. Okay. One a
- 52:36week.
- 52:36>> Seven.
- 52:37>> Seven a week.
- 52:39>> Don't Don't do the Marcel thing where
- 52:40you go, um, get to the point. Two hours
- 52:42a day.
- 52:43>> All of them.
- 52:44>> Amazing. How wealthy are you?
- 52:45>> Pretty wealthy.
- 52:46>> Surprise, surprise. How about you?
- 52:51five hours.
- 52:56>> What' I say? A week.
- 53:00>> Sorry about that, but I can see this
- 53:01frustrating. Hopefully this was like the
- 53:02right speech at the right time. Okay,
- 53:04good. How about you? I Bro, I've been
- 53:06there. I've so I've so been there. Like,
- 53:09you don't give a speech like this at
- 53:11random, right? You don't give a speech
- 53:12like this on accident. So, I've I've
- 53:14I've I've been in webs of my own
- 53:16creation where it's like just everything
- 53:18is just pulling you from one horror to
- 53:20the next. So, you it just comes with uh
- 53:22hitting a breaking point. Yep.
- 53:24>> 20. Cool. Speak up. Yep.
- 53:26>> Awesome.
- 53:28>> Speak up. Yep.
- 53:40>> Cool. Okay. So, let me show you an
- 53:42example how I do it. Okay. When I record
- 53:44a video, what I'll do, I'll book an
- 53:47Airbnb in the middle of Montana. I will
- 53:50turn my phone off. I'll give myself a
- 53:52week to jet. Here's what I'll do.
- 53:54Imagine if you're creating content. You
- 53:56did this. This is very extreme. I'm not
- 53:57saying you have to do this, but I want
- 53:58you don't worry about my example. Apply
- 54:01it to your own life. What I'll do is I
- 54:04will take a week off at an Airbnb in
- 54:06Alaska or Montana or wherever. Okay?
- 54:09Then what I do is at night in front of a
- 54:11fireplace I work on the content for what
- 54:13videos I want to create. In the daytime
- 54:15I hike somewhere cool and I just pay I
- 54:18spend a week just creating the content
- 54:20or when I do seminars I'll literally
- 54:22just book a seminar and I do some
- 54:24seminars that are paid seminars that are
- 54:26expensive. Um, but what I'll do for just
- 54:28free content for YouTube is I'll just
- 54:30book a room and I'll do a free event.
- 54:32And I do that just be like those are not
- 54:34like, you know, highly transformative
- 54:36events compared to a paid event, but
- 54:38it's a chance for me to record content.
- 54:39But, you know, people will come watch
- 54:41cuz they want to meet me. So, let's say
- 54:42that I rent out a hotel and I spend
- 54:4430,000 for a couple days on a big ass
- 54:47hotel. Right now, how many hours a day
- 54:49do I have to record video? Maybe 10
- 54:51hours a day. Any you guys ever seen me
- 54:52do this?
- 54:53>> Yeah.
- 54:53>> Or like I'll just rent a big conference
- 54:54room. It's called the free tour. I'll
- 54:56rent this big ass conference room and
- 54:57then I'll just like sit there for three
- 54:59[ __ ] days, 10 hours a day banging
- 55:01videos. Want to know why I do that?
- 55:03Because if you just paid 30 grand for a
- 55:05venue,
- 55:06>> are you going to turn your phone off or
- 55:07you going to keep it off?
- 55:08>> It's going to be
- 55:09>> Yeah, that phone is off and the whole
- 55:11world can get [ __ ] Okay, [ __ ] off.
- 55:14But imagine if all that you do is you
- 55:16set aside 3 days, you got 30K down
- 55:20and it's just to record content. How
- 55:22good is your content going to be?
- 55:24Okay, so have you guys ever seen it
- 55:25where I speak all [ __ ] day and you're
- 55:27like, "How does this guy have energy?"
- 55:30Well, I'm about to reveal how I had that
- 55:32much energy. Imagine if you paid 30
- 55:35grand to record three days of videos.
- 55:38>> Would you have energy?
- 55:39>> You're going to come up with it.
- 55:41>> Could you come up with some cool topics?
- 55:43Would you get tired? People like, "Man,
- 55:45he's been up there all day." I'm like,
- 55:46"Do you know what I This is a free
- 55:47event. You know what I paid?" See, I
- 55:48don't even want to get paid on that
- 55:49event because I want I want me to pay so
- 55:51that I'll do good content. And then I
- 55:53can replicate that by renting an Airbnb
- 55:56in Montana, flying my team out there,
- 55:58flying out a camera team to make myself
- 56:00concentrate. What do you guys think the
- 56:02quality of my work is going to be if I
- 56:03set aside time like that and make myself
- 56:06concentrate?
- 56:07>> Really good.
- 56:08>> Really [ __ ] good.
- 56:10>> Spot on. Right. So people will say, "Oh,
- 56:12Owen, you must have a high aptitude for
- 56:15what you teach." Right? They go, "Oh,
- 56:16you're, you know, a smart guy." You
- 56:17know, whatever they say, right? Is it
- 56:19that I'm a smart guy or is it that I
- 56:21have a better process?
- 56:23>> You see what I'm saying? Yeah. I'm smart
- 56:24enough.
- 56:25>> How'd you get the process? You have to
- 56:26be intelligent.
- 56:27>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'll take it.
- 56:28I'm smart. Okay. It's all my it's all my
- 56:30my IQ and my my high quality genetics.
- 56:33But the point being is like it it really
- 56:35is just um smart enough. But you don't
- 56:38need to be a super genius to know that
- 56:39if you put aside the time and you have
- 56:41skin in the game, you're going to
- 56:43produce something [ __ ] amazing. So
- 56:45now what I do is I use that for creation
- 56:48of value. But then you have the
- 56:50discharge of value. So in other words,
- 56:51you got to learn the art of making
- 56:52money. But what other art do you have to
- 56:54learn?
- 56:55>> Spending money.
- 56:56>> The art of spending money. Right? So I
- 56:58always say there's an art form to
- 56:59spending money. Because when you made
- 57:01enough money in your life, look, we've
- 57:02all had the experience where you made a
- 57:03bunch of money, you took a vacation, and
- 57:05you're like, damn it, I'm not any
- 57:06happier here than I was at home. Okay. I
- 57:11hit that epiphany because in my late 20s
- 57:13I was fortunate to build a business. I
- 57:15made my first two million in in info
- 57:18marketing at age 26 maybe 27 somewhere
- 57:21around there. I made my first 2 million
- 57:22like 2 million in the bank. Imagine
- 57:24being 26 2 million in the bank. Pretty
- 57:25cool, right? And this is years ago. So
- 57:27that's like 5 million maybe. I don't
- 57:29know. Sounds like it. We'll just go with
- 57:315 million.
- 57:33Was it? I don't know. Okay. So 5
- 57:35million. Okay. So look at you in 26 got
- 57:37about 5 million in the bank, right? How
- 57:38cool is that? So, I remember I took this
- 57:41Mexico trip with the mother of my kids
- 57:42and we go around Mexico and I was not
- 57:45really any happier. I was like, and it
- 57:47was a trip I'd want to take for years
- 57:48because I kept thinking about business
- 57:50and stress. Then I got back to Hawaii
- 57:52where I was living at the time and I'd
- 57:53be surfing a wave in and I'd still be
- 57:55unhappy. So, that's when you realize
- 57:57you're like, "Wait a minute." You're
- 57:58like, "Fuck this [ __ ] It's not about
- 57:59It's not just the money. You got to
- 58:01learn how to you got to learn how to
- 58:02spend the money and you got to learn how
- 58:04to be at peace and you got to find some
- 58:06hobbies, right? So you got to make the
- 58:09money. Then you got then then you got to
- 58:11find out things you even want to spend
- 58:12the money on. Then you got to figure out
- 58:14how to not be how to build the systems
- 58:16to get away from work. And then even
- 58:18once you have the clear free time to
- 58:21just do some [ __ ] you've got to be at
- 58:22peace. You've got to find peace within
- 58:24your own mind. It's a spiritual thing.
- 58:26That's real wealth, right? Like say that
- 58:29me and Marcel want to go do a road trip
- 58:31together, you know, and we're like,
- 58:32"Okay, like maybe like uh are you guys
- 58:34going to F1 with Marcel?" I'm going to
- 58:35go to F1 with them. Okay. You're going
- 58:37to go to F1, right?
- 58:38>> Yeah. So, like when we go there, it's
- 58:40not just about going there to go there
- 58:41to get photos. It's like, you know,
- 58:43everybody's like like you'll see people
- 58:44that are like unhappy and then they go
- 58:46to post on Instagram, then they smile
- 58:47like that, but they're actually unhappy.
- 58:49Can it's not about just an Instagram
- 58:51photo. It's can you go to F1 and really
- 58:55take it in, right?
- 58:56>> Do you have a pallet for it? Is your
- 58:58pallet refined? Right? So, say that me
- 59:00and Marcel want to do a road trip after
- 59:02and we want to do say like, I don't
- 59:03know, drive like say that you're in
- 59:05Vegas. What are some cool places you
- 59:06could go to from Vegas?
- 59:07>> In Vegas.
- 59:08>> Z. How about Valley of Fire is half an
- 59:10hour from Vegas. Maybe you could go to
- 59:12Z.
- 59:13>> What's that?
- 59:13>> Hot Springs.
- 59:14>> Which ones?
- 59:15>> In Vegas.
- 59:16>> Very cool.
- 59:17>> From Vegas. So, you know, by the Hoover
- 59:18Dam. There's a trail that leads to right
- 59:21up to it. There's hot springs. It's like
- 59:22an hour. Badass.
- 59:24>> That's great. That's probably something
- 59:25I do with a girl, but I could do Marcel
- 59:27too if we want to. You know, in the
- 59:29hotring, right? So, I have hobbies I
- 59:30want to do the woman. I have hobbies I
- 59:31want to do the man. Right. You know the
- 59:33different, right? Sex with the man,
- 59:36don't jump with the girl. No, just
- 59:36kidding. Okay. So, point being is this.
- 59:38Okay. Yeah. So, anyway, what I'm trying
- 59:41to get at is basically like, you know,
- 59:43so it's like maybe how Who has been to
- 59:45Zan? Who has ever been to Zan?
- 59:47>> Guys, come on.
- 59:48>> Zion.
- 59:50>> Who here's
- 59:51>> guys?
- 59:52>> Guys. Guys, it's six hours from here,
- 59:54please. Let me say again. Who here has
- 59:56been to Zion National Park? Guys,
- 1:00:01>> I feel like
- 1:00:02>> Zion.
- 1:00:06>> Well, that's a great drive.
- 1:00:07>> Guys,
- 1:00:09>> guys,
- 1:00:10>> it's six. Okay, who has been a big sir?
- 1:00:13>> Guys,
- 1:00:16>> yes, many times, guys. It's a great
- 1:00:18place, but that's far. There's at least
- 1:00:20an excuse.
- 1:00:20>> Well, that's where I live.
- 1:00:21>> Okay, fine. Fair enough.
- 1:00:22>> Is far from me.
- 1:00:23>> Okay. Are you guys locals more or No,
- 1:00:25>> I'm in New York.
- 1:00:26>> Have you been to Acadia? No,
- 1:00:28>> guys. Okay. Okay. All right. I'm just
- 1:00:30being dramatic to make a point.
- 1:00:31>> Yeah. But do you see my point? Look at
- 1:00:33all that money that you made. And then
- 1:00:34you go, "Wait a minute. I'm not even
- 1:00:35doing the things I want to do." Okay.
- 1:00:36So, the point is like, if I can set a
- 1:00:38several day road trip with Marcel and me
- 1:00:40and him can go not talk about business,
- 1:00:42but talk about life and make jokes,
- 1:00:44maybe bring some girls, maybe not, and
- 1:00:46we can actually go have fun. That's
- 1:00:48really living, okay? Cuz when you're
- 1:00:49dead, it's not going to matter what
- 1:00:50Instagram photos you add. What matters
- 1:00:51is real memories. Like, like, and you
- 1:00:53lose your memories and you die, too. But
- 1:00:54like a real life experience, well-lived,
- 1:00:56okay? So that's what you want to think
- 1:00:57of as wealth. That's what I'm saying
- 1:00:59when when I started this bizarre
- 1:01:00statement of like, you know, the
- 1:01:01communists do have a point. It's hard
- 1:01:04for the look at how most of you guys
- 1:01:05have not been to Zion, right? It's hard
- 1:01:07to get to that point where you can even
- 1:01:10get away from work. You have not just
- 1:01:12the money, but you have the bandwidth
- 1:01:14and to even enjoy it and not go negative
- 1:01:17in your own brain. So that's real
- 1:01:20wealth. Okay? You know, guys will say
- 1:01:22like like how many girls have you had
- 1:01:23sex with or how hot was she? Did you
- 1:01:25like her? Was the sex good? Was the
- 1:01:29connection good? Did you have fun? After
- 1:01:32you finish having sex for 25 minutes,
- 1:01:34did you have a nice day after? Did you
- 1:01:35go to a nice restaurant? Did you have a
- 1:01:36walk? Did you have good chemistry? Did
- 1:01:38you get along well? Like people just get
- 1:01:41focused on this one metric. It's more
- 1:01:42about a holistic metric, a real holistic
- 1:01:45metric. Okay? If you guys live in New
- 1:01:47York, you could go, if you had a guide,
- 1:01:48you go pick reishi mushroom, chug a
- 1:01:50mushroom up in upstate New York. What
- 1:01:52does it take to be able to go do that?
- 1:01:54Okay. So, that's how you want to think
- 1:01:55about is you want to think about it like
- 1:01:57you're in this like b like in a sword
- 1:01:59fight and your version of a of a win in
- 1:02:01a sword fight is getting clear time to
- 1:02:03actually have fun. That's real wealth.
- 1:02:06And to actually make money to actually
- 1:02:08make money, okay? or to actually
- 1:02:12increase a skill.
