8. 0:19and karen we're doing a full review this

10. 0:21um which obviously the fact that
11. 0:22obviously yeah karen's kind of mad and
12. 0:24still i'm gonna lie to you because

25. 0:51and now we're doing a full-on review
26. 0:52right we're checking out everything that
27. 0:53happened in the actual show so
28. 0:55with mars and karen we've been watching
29. 0:56for the past few weeks and many people
30. 0:57are divided
31. 0:58i think most of us would agree that we
32. 0:59don't particularly think that karen
33. 1:00actually really likes
34. 1:02miles the way that she said she does or
35. 1:03even the way that
36. 1:05you know she may have said previously in
37. 1:08the other shows um
38. 1:09um i really believe that obviously karen
39. 1:11likes miles i think she likes miles i
40. 1:13think she
41. 1:14she sees how great he is but when you're
42. 1:17looking through a broken lens i've said
43. 1:18this to you guys for
44. 1:19when you look for a broken lens okay or
45. 1:22you can see it's brokenness
46. 1:23right if the if there's the if the lens
47. 1:26you're looking for is broken
48. 1:27your viewpoint is broken and until you
49. 1:30take that time to recover
50. 1:32and i mean emotionally heal it can be
51. 1:34very hard to get back in the game for
52. 1:36instance a football player
53. 1:37who has been recently injured
54. 1:39horrifically getting back on the pitch
55. 1:41the one thing that's on the back of his
56. 1:42mind is getting hurt like that again
57. 1:44and so therefore it can make the person
58. 1:46um very
59. 1:47uh passive in the way that they enter
60. 1:50into
61. 1:51rough battle okay and so i'm seeing the
62. 1:54same thing with karen here
63. 1:55that the way she keeps talking at
64. 1:56certain points mention the fact that
65. 1:58you know um she's not hot don't know
66. 2:02if we are going to be together in the
67. 2:04future
68. 2:05but tonight i gave him an a plus foot
69. 2:08will you marry me 100
70. 2:11sold on miles right at one point she
71. 2:14said she's not a hundred percent sold on
72. 2:15them just yet
73. 2:16yeah it's not 100 sold in them you know
74. 2:18we'll see what happens
75. 2:20i may be with you you know what i'm
76. 2:22saying all those points right there and
77. 2:23then are
78. 2:24telling me you're not sold sis you're
79. 2:26not sold on the guy you understand
80. 2:29what's there not to be sold on the point
81. 2:30is you know and that's why i said it's
82. 2:31not moving slow
83. 2:33like i hate when you say emma she's
84. 2:34moving slow she's not moving slow
85. 2:36she's not convinced she's not convinced
86. 2:41look when you know you've got a great
87. 2:42deal you secure the thing
88. 2:45man and woman when you see a shop and
89. 2:47it's a great price you see and it's a an
90. 2:49affordable
91. 2:50price for you and your purse string yeah
92. 2:52and the thing has come down in price
93. 2:53and it's looking like a perfect uh sale
94. 2:56for you you don't wait around
95. 2:58you don't you don't wait around you snap
96. 2:59it up why
97. 3:01because you see it's a great deal and
98. 3:02you don't waste no time and you want
99. 3:04someone else to come and get it
100. 3:05the problem here is that she doesn't see
101. 3:06him as a great deal just yet
102. 3:08she can acknowledge that he's a great
103. 3:10guy he's a good guy
104. 3:12she can acknowledge that he's got great
105. 3:13qualities good loving qualities
106. 3:16but her brokenness of viewpoint towards
107. 3:19what a man should be
108. 3:20and what she should be to that man is
109. 3:23the problem
110. 3:24okay like we heard in the beginning
111. 3:26about the emotional man but in this
112. 3:27episode there was a problem right she
113. 3:30said it herself when it was shopping and
114. 3:32i want to go around and come back
115. 3:34when they were shopping she said
116. 3:35something very very key she said i'm not
117. 3:36used to an emotional man
118. 3:39therefore okay because i'm not used to
119. 3:42that emotional man
120. 3:43all right um i'm not sure how to handle
121. 3:45it you get me
122. 3:48like i've never met a guy so like open
123. 3:51with this feeling yeah you know um
124. 4:01you know she said ourselves like she's
125. 4:02not sure how to handle that and then she
126. 4:03asks the question
127. 4:04why are you so emotional why are you so
128. 4:07open with your emotions
129. 4:08right um and at that point his body
130. 4:11language
131. 4:12completely changes let's talk about it
132. 4:14let's get into it like
133. 4:16that scene at the shop anymore let's
134. 4:17talk about it i've written it down
135. 4:19the guy's so like open with his feelings
136. 4:29you know she says obviously um oh she's
137. 4:32never met a guy so open with his
138. 4:34feelings
139. 4:34it froze her off okay
140. 4:37listen to the wording it froze her
141. 4:41off what kind of guys have you been
142. 4:43dealing with
143. 4:45sis what kind of guys have you been
144. 4:47dealing with
145. 4:48you know what i'm saying because at the
146. 4:50moment from john you you you
147. 4:52and that's nothing but a broken lens it
148. 4:54helps you to see in a certain way and
149. 4:56because you're you're used to dealing
150. 4:57with that particular aspect of life
151. 4:59in that particular way it's hard to
152. 5:01change the behavior right
153. 5:03and see then a smile on my pay attention
154. 5:05look at
155. 5:06my look at miles and smiles and smile it
156. 5:08becomes very passive aggressive very
157. 5:10very quickly
158. 5:11and it becomes a very like he smiles but
159. 5:13he's not smiling
160. 5:15there's something behind it right he's
161. 5:17is he's hurt
162. 5:18yeah he's hurt by that because now he's
163. 5:20like wait it throws you off why like
164. 5:22you cut again you're questioning me and
165. 5:24my authenticity bear in mind remember
166. 5:26they've had a conversation previously
167. 5:28before this when you're sitting in a bed
168. 5:29and she was telling him
169. 5:30you know um to come correct basically to
170. 5:32just tell her what she
171. 5:33tell her to tell her what he needs not
172. 5:35only that come true in it she wants to
173. 5:37see
174. 5:38him in his truest form in his darkest
175. 5:40form
176. 5:41and you know this is biblical i i i when
177. 5:43i say biblical
178. 5:45i'm in a sense of like we see this in
179. 5:46the bible jacob
180. 5:48okay a son of isaac okay
181. 5:51right um came to get a wife from
182. 5:54you know uh called rachel right but as
183. 5:57the father-in-law or she said a
184. 5:59brother-in-law whatever um of
185. 6:01of his mom okay yeah was there yeah he
186. 6:04brought the first sister leia to sleep
187. 6:07with him
188. 6:07but he did it in the middle of the night
189. 6:11the middle of the night represents
190. 6:12darkness it represents ignorance it
191. 6:15represents a lack of illumination
192. 6:17knowledge
193. 6:18and so when you don't have knowledge of
194. 6:19something and you go into it darkly
195. 6:22you can make a mistake right so i
196. 6:24understand
197. 6:25karen's point of view which is i need to
198. 6:26see your darkness first
199. 6:28i mean i need to see that you are who
200. 6:30you are i need to see your your
201. 6:32your mistakes i need to see who you are
202. 6:34when you're when when you're angry and
203. 6:35to see you when you get frustrated and
204. 6:37see those things
205. 6:38because all the pretty things you're
206. 6:39doing for me what i love you're showing
207. 6:40me i appreciate it but you're going to
208. 6:42change
209. 6:43show up as this perfect husband i don't
210. 6:46need perfection
211. 6:48um i need to know someone is there
212. 6:51for me but it doesn't mean go and change
213. 6:54and i want to see what you like when you
214. 6:55change that's what she's saying
215. 6:57i can rock with that i'm not gonna be
216. 6:59offense with that you know i mean i can
217. 7:00rock with that
218. 7:02but back to the shopping trip you know
219. 7:03um you know he smiled he
220. 7:05he was taken he was taken aback by what
221. 7:07she said about the throne throwing off
222. 7:09right
223. 7:09and so you watch his face here again
224. 7:11right he smiles
225. 7:12and then it fades away it's almost like
226. 7:14a carnie smile
227. 7:17like that's what he did right and his
228. 7:19body language changed because at that
229. 7:21point in time and
230. 7:21obviously the trolley moves as well but
231. 7:23at a point in time he was leaning on the
232. 7:24trolley
233. 7:25coming in talking da da da da night do i
234. 7:27like put it in like a body
235. 7:30yeah i feel you like i like the
236. 7:31hairstyle i know i like it
237. 7:33but i don't know what to do with it yeah
238. 7:37i did and then as a conversation got to
239. 7:39a point where she said it throws me off
240. 7:41she had the trolley now and he stood up
241. 7:43he stood up straight
242. 7:44and then when she mentioned about the
243. 7:46fact that um
244. 7:47when he mentioned about five only
245. 7:49mentioned later on about uh the
246. 7:50relationship as well
247. 7:51and he was i think he was holding 20 at
248. 7:53that time as well
249. 7:54watch how he's standing firm the body
250. 7:56language is uh the body language off
251. 7:58he looks like he's taking defense he
252. 8:00feels
253. 8:01a little bit hurt by what's being said
254. 8:03right now do you get me
255. 8:04yeah um and
256. 8:07and his responses are well his responses
257. 8:10were very short now no longer was he
258. 8:12saying uh longer sentences no longer was
259. 8:14he
260. 8:15expressing his truest thoughts no he was
261. 8:17just saying
262. 8:18one word yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
263. 8:20yeah yeah yeah
264. 8:21uh-huh yeah yeah yeah uh-huh yeah right
265. 8:24it wasn't a listening oh okay i hear
266. 8:26what you're saying mm-hmm
267. 8:27okay no it was a yeah yeah yeah handle
268. 8:30it yes
269. 8:31yeah like this new hairstyle that i got
270. 8:33and i'm like
271. 8:35i don't know how to maintain it do i
272. 8:36wrap it at night do i like
273. 8:38become defensive because he had been
274. 8:40hurt he was hurt what she said
275. 8:42right he didn't admit it but he looked
276. 8:44like he was hurt do you understand
277. 8:46and i think um at that point i think
278. 8:50miles was deeping the compatibility
279. 8:52between himself and karen
280. 8:53i think at that point there was a
281. 8:55thought in his mind it will she ever
282. 8:57crack
283. 8:58i'm thinking at that point he was
284. 9:00thinking listen will she ever
285. 9:01love me the way i'm feeling her will she
286. 9:03would like me the way i'm feeling her
287. 9:04maybe it's too good to be true maybe she
288. 9:06really doesn't care for me maybe she
289. 9:08will never care for me
290. 9:09like you know i'm saying like we've been
291. 9:11seeing this narrative go through the
292. 9:12whole season
293. 9:13you know i mean like i said his sister
294. 9:15died and i'm sure she had a conversation
295. 9:16with him after
296. 9:17and you know what i mean um um and that
297. 9:20obviously was what led
298. 9:22to uh the conversation in the shopping
299. 9:24trip later on
300. 9:25um when he asked about intimacy but
301. 9:27going back on ourselves
302. 9:29um when they obviously have to talk
303. 9:32we'll have to talk about their feelings
304. 9:35okay it was
305. 9:36interesting got to understand where
306. 9:38miles's
307. 9:39patients um kindness comes from it's a
308. 9:42youth it
309. 9:43when he when he was young the parents
310. 9:44split up and uh
311. 9:46he became the peacekeeper between two
312. 9:47parents and that's the same energy's
313. 9:49carrying into this relationship and even
314. 9:50karen picks up on it saying look
315. 9:52you know you're doing exact same thing
316. 9:54in relationship and what i don't want is
317. 9:56for you to burn
318. 9:57out i don't want you to then burn out
319. 9:59and turn against me
320. 10:00and so i understand the cautiousness of
321. 10:02karen that until you give me your true
322. 10:04darkness i don't know what you're
323. 10:05capable of i don't know what you're
324. 10:06about
325. 10:07and so all this goodness you're giving
326. 10:08me all this kindness you give me
327. 10:10it's nice but you may erupt one day you
328. 10:13know what i'm saying
329. 10:14and that's what she doesn't want right
330. 10:16she doesn't want five years on the line
331. 10:17you tell me you got a baby
332. 10:19um with another woman right she doesn't
333. 10:20want that sudden surprise
334. 10:22at the end do you know what i'm saying
335. 10:23it's always been a turn off when i feel
336. 10:25like it's too much
337. 10:26too soon because then i wonder when
338. 10:29that's gonna end
339. 10:30yeah and not to say it
340. 10:33will end with you you know she was
341. 10:34saying it always says well [ __ ] as well
342. 10:36um
343. 10:36for her it's too much too soon
344. 10:40it's always been a turn off when i feel
345. 10:41like it's too much too soon
346. 10:43because then i wonder when it's gonna
347. 10:45end yeah
348. 10:47and not to say it will end with you his
349. 10:51love and feelings are too much too soon
350. 10:54she's not used to that
351. 10:55she's used to the guy that is probably a
352. 10:56bit more reserved hold backs his
353. 10:58feelings
354. 10:59barely says i love you rarely says those
355. 11:01things really probably even treats her
356. 11:03right
357. 11:03um whatever she dealt with in that last
358. 11:05relationship because she said obviously
359. 11:06the baby was a final straw there's a lot
360. 11:07of things that were going wrong in
361. 11:08relationship so
362. 11:09i probably think that she's been in a
363. 11:11very crazy relationship up and down
364. 11:13and now you're meeting you know
365. 11:14sometimes especially women who have been
366. 11:16hurt and abused by a guy when they do
367. 11:19meet a good guy they almost think that
368. 11:21they're gonna mess it up they're gonna
369. 11:22break they're gonna
370. 11:23um destroy it they're gonna they're not
371. 11:25good enough for this slap of love
372. 11:27it's not exciting enough because of what
373. 11:28they've experienced like
374. 11:30there's a lot of thoughts i can go
375. 11:31through a girl's head as to why she's
376. 11:32not able to really connect
377. 11:34with a type of guy like miles and almost
378. 11:36feel like he's a [ __ ] and a [ __ ] to
379. 11:38you because
380. 11:39he's not your traditional male who
381. 11:40you've experienced to um is exhibiting
382. 11:43i call toxic masculinity right um
383. 11:47and so she drops those bars to him and
384. 11:49you know what was interesting was that
385. 11:50he said
386. 11:50he said oh see this is me like yo i'm
387. 11:52gonna be this way like this is me like
388. 11:54i'm not changing like i'm going to
389. 11:56always be kind i'm always going to be
390. 11:57loving
391. 11:58i want to do things as we continue to
392. 11:59grow and my feelings for you continue to
393. 12:00grow
394. 12:01i think that in time you'll see
395. 12:04it only gets better
396. 12:08know i mean that's just my nature and
397. 12:10just like your sister said you know what
398. 12:12i mean
399. 12:12so i know i think karen's just trying to
400. 12:14find holes in his story and say
401. 12:17you can't say you're gonna be like this
402. 12:18but i'm wondering if you're gonna when
403. 12:19you're gonna turn when you're gonna
404. 12:20really show me the dragon inside of you
405. 12:22unleash the dragon you know what i mean
406. 12:25um
407. 12:27uh and so before that as well before
408. 12:30that little uh question time when they
409. 12:32spoke about how much they
410. 12:33they loved it was interesting body
411. 12:34language wise as well because at the
412. 12:36beginning of the conversation karen's
413. 12:37talking down
414. 12:38to him she's looking down it gets to a
415. 12:41point where she asks him about his
416. 12:42family
417. 12:43i want to know a bit more about your
418. 12:44family and that's when he sits
419. 12:47up and then now he's looking down at her
420. 12:49so it's interesting that obviously
421. 12:51um their their levels were dictating
422. 12:53who's who's in control of the
423. 12:54conversation
424. 12:55um and i think miles does that by
425. 12:57complimenting the individual person
426. 12:59by allowing um her to do that maybe she
427. 13:01doesn't like that though you know i mean
428. 13:03that she
429. 13:03likes leadership so maybe that's the
430. 13:04kind of thing she doesn't like it's
431. 13:06those kind of little my new
432. 13:07changes maybe that she doesn't want she
433. 13:09wants in him to show that leadership i
434. 13:11don't know i'm just saying
435. 13:12i don't know i don't know um and then
436. 13:15obviously
437. 13:16um you know we we we sort of earlier
438. 13:19see that in the very beginning you know
439. 13:21miles was like taking leadership by
440. 13:23going look you know what
441. 13:24your car broke down flipping ladies uh
442. 13:27and uh normally is the thing that her
443. 13:29dad would take care of i was like you
444. 13:30know what i got this you know
445. 13:32you can see the hood fix a couple of
446. 13:34things in here right
447. 13:35now you said that let me do it for you
448. 13:37right masculine
449. 13:39energy you wanted it he's doing it now
450. 13:41yeah but i would say again
451. 13:42fixing the car necessarily isn't
452. 13:43masculine it's just something that has
453. 13:45been attached to a masculine
454. 13:46it's just been attached to males the
455. 13:48whole entire time but that's because
456. 13:50we've excluded girls from going into
457. 13:51before we stood with him from driving it
458. 13:53was pretty woman from learning about
459. 13:55cars because it's a masculine thing to
460. 13:56do
461. 13:57not necessarily it's a job at the end of
462. 13:59the day and everybody has a car
463. 14:00everybody should learn about the car
464. 14:02mechanics but again
465. 14:03it's another sign of masculinity for
466. 14:07karen do you understand yeah and again
467. 14:10the friend mentioned it as well
468. 14:11right yeah he's the best chef i know and
469. 14:13so um wanted to bring him in and teach
470. 14:16us how to cook a little something
471. 14:17because like you like to cook
472. 14:18but it's so nice that you don't want to
473. 14:20cook i'm able to put something for you
474. 14:21that's like you know uh it's interesting
475. 14:23as well with miles
476. 14:24thoughtfulness i think his
477. 14:26thoughtfulness is
478. 14:27feminine energy and and i i say feminine
479. 14:31energy and not in the way that he's a
480. 14:32female
481. 14:33uh but in the sense of that you know
482. 14:35what is masculine what is feminine
483. 14:36like i always said you guys we have both
484. 14:38energies and you must begin to operate
485. 14:40in both to have a successful
486. 14:42healthy balanced relationship so when he
487. 14:45decides to bring over his best friend
488. 14:46who's a chef
489. 14:47to help them cook and i noticed that
490. 14:49when he said obviously to help us
491. 14:51cook she kind of look at her face when a
492. 14:53little bit i guess i'm saying like
493. 14:55listen i can cook i don't know about you
494. 14:56but he was like again it's for us so
495. 14:58that when you get tired
496. 15:01i can do it for you right this
497. 15:03thoughtfulness i'm assuming she's never
498. 15:05had this before
499. 15:06i'm assuming she never had a guy think
500. 15:08about how she could have her feet up
501. 15:10i'm assuming she'd encounter the guy
502. 15:12that jenny wants to take the weight
503. 15:13of burning off her shoulders i'm
504. 15:15assuming she hasn't met a guy
505. 15:17that really wants to love her in the way
506. 15:19that she needs to be loved
507. 15:20because yeah of the way that she talks
508. 15:23about miles's behavior
509. 15:25okay and so you know
510. 15:28throughout the front obviously the
511. 15:29cooking i love the fact that she isn't
512. 15:31she was actually enjoying it she enjoyed
513. 15:32the cooking
514. 15:33she enjoyed the time with him she
515. 15:34enjoyed spending time with
516. 15:36in his presence um loved watching him
517. 15:38cook and they were
518. 15:39having a banter as well again right how
519. 15:42did it feel for you like
520. 15:43to sit back a little bit in the kitchen
521. 15:47it was good if you want to spoil me
522. 15:51and eating the food i noticed that miles
523. 15:54goes into that feminine energy again
524. 15:55that that
525. 15:56i guess that emotive energy where he
526. 15:58goes
527. 15:59um how did it feel remember the feel
528. 16:02is a feminine energy because the feeling
529. 16:05yeah the feelings the emotion
530. 16:07all right as part of that so he enters
531. 16:09into that and goes how do you feel
532. 16:11yeah trying to elicit an emotive
533. 16:13response yeah
534. 16:15and then he goes on to ex goes on to say
535. 16:17some goody kind words worse affirmation
536. 16:19by saying oh see what i love about you
537. 16:22remember his
538. 16:22his love language is worth affirmation
539. 16:24he said it to her in the last episode
540. 16:26that he would love some of his
541. 16:27compliments he said what i love about
542. 16:29you
543. 16:29is the fact that you've got a love for
544. 16:31food now i don't know if you
545. 16:33are watching the thing yeah but i'm
546. 16:34seeing my man put in
547. 16:36work cuts yeah i know there's a lot of
548. 16:38girl out there that would love a guy
549. 16:40like miles bro
550. 16:42yeah that's endearing loving caring you
551. 16:45understand
552. 16:46protective energy he's just not a prick
553. 16:48do you understand
554. 16:50he's not a prick so what i'm seeing is
555. 16:52that it's like carol wants his prick
556. 16:54kind of guy
557. 16:55but he's not giving her that kind of
558. 16:56energy do you understand the man plan to
559. 16:58have
560. 16:59dinner cooked and actually learn how to
561. 17:01cook for your own sake
562. 17:03oh come on man beautiful mate beautiful
563. 17:06um but she didn't go and say obviously
564. 17:08she she did enjoy it and she does
565. 17:10like a man that wants to spoil her and
566. 17:11she appreciate that
567. 17:13um but then she drops a bar at the end
568. 17:15and said obviously she still doesn't
569. 17:16know if they're going to be together or
570. 17:18in the future
571. 17:19oh don't know if we are going to be
572. 17:22together in the future
573. 17:24but tonight i gave him an a plus foot
574. 17:27will you marry me
575. 17:28[Music]
576. 17:30and i said listen darling this is not
577. 17:32dating in the dark
578. 17:34okay this is a blind date okay
579. 17:37all right you wanna say it nice to see
580. 17:39you nice no it's not one of those bruv
581. 17:42this doesn't take me out gruff yeah
582. 17:44you're married
583. 17:46listen to me carefully if you wanted a
584. 17:48date there are several
585. 17:49day 10 shows out there this is a get
586. 17:52married show you understand so
587. 17:55understand
588. 17:56you are in a committed relationship this
589. 17:58is not
590. 17:59i want to come and see if i can dip my
591. 18:01toe in the water no
592. 18:03no no
593. 18:06you get me and then she drops a nice
594. 18:09little joke at the end by saying will
595. 18:10you marry me
596. 18:11yeah um and so
597. 18:16obviously if you guys haven't watched my
598. 18:17other review i spoke about the end very
599. 18:19end scene
600. 18:20so for me make sure it's still good
601. 18:23so for me watching karen and miles i
602. 18:25think
603. 18:26you know i really do believe the
604. 18:27characters like miles but again we've
605. 18:29seen in this episode again we're just
606. 18:30seeing the energy and the vibes
607. 18:32mama's putting all the effort in but
608. 18:33we're not seeing the same return she's
609. 18:35not
610. 18:36comfortable with the emotional side of
611. 18:37mile she's not comfortable with the fact
612. 18:39that mars
613. 18:39is uh maybe more emotive than she is
614. 18:42right
615. 18:43um and the same kind of territorial
616. 18:45behavior where she was like ah
617. 18:46um you know the kitchen's my area i
618. 18:48wanted to be my space
619. 18:49the same thing here as well right same
620. 18:52thing here again
621. 18:53uh obviously that was what to do with
622. 18:55the the the end scene but
623. 18:57um i always said is that if you want me
624. 18:59to drive get out of passenger seats i
625. 19:01can do so and i think karen hasn't got
626. 19:03out
