27. 1:07underway but it has been a full year
28. 1:09since she was convicted of killing
29. 1:11Travis Alexander the fall trial will
30. 1:14include prosecutor Juan Martinez and the
31. 1:16same defense team but 12 people who
32. 1:18won't be there are the original jury on
33. 1:21the one-year anniversary of one of the
34. 1:23biggest trials in Arizona history Kevin
35. 1:25Kennedy talks with one of the jurors one
36. 1:28of Travis Alexander's best friends and a
37. 1:30woman whose life changed after stepping
38. 1:33inside that

45. 1:48jury duly impanel and sworn do find the
46. 1:50defendant as to count one first deegree
47. 1:52murder guilty as the verdict was read

50. 2:00she's crying a 12 member jury found jod
51. 2:03Aras guilty of murder one of those
52. 2:05jurors was Diane Schwarz as the trial

55. 2:15more so than I had ever seen before the
56. 2:17trial lasted more than five months
57. 2:19Schwarz was jured number six one of the
58. 2:21eight in favor of the death penalty it
59. 2:24was emotional um there were a lot of
60. 2:26tears that were shed in that in that
61. 2:28room um me for one um I didn't feel that
62. 2:32we were completing our job I don't like
63. 2:34to see things go undone a deadlock in
64. 2:37the penalty phase means another jury
65. 2:39will decide life or death for family and
66. 2:41friends of Travis it's a chapter they
67. 2:43want closed I just want jod to be out of
68. 2:46the news out of our lives out of our
69. 2:48hair locked up or put to sleep Dave Hall
70. 2:53is one of Travis's best friends
71. 2:55emotional after the guilty verdict
72. 2:57justice for Travis this past year has
73. 3:00been an interesting one for him wiggle
74. 3:03it just a little bit this video of him
75. 3:06and a friend toppling an ancient rock

81. 3:23lives so I didn't know that video was
82. 3:25going to be famous I didn't know that
83. 3:27video was going to go viral the past
84. 3:29year has been one of changed for Katie
85. 3:31Wick a regular in the courtroom Wick was
86. 3:33there almost every day it doesn't feel
87. 3:35like a year it feels like it was just
88. 3:37yesterday when I was standing looking at
89. 3:38the massive crowd when they shouted
90. 3:41guilty guilty Wick became friends with
91. 3:43Travis's sister and other family members
92. 3:46the trial having a profound impact on
93. 3:48her life sitting in the courtroom every
94. 3:50day was really what solidified that
95. 3:53desire that I had to go to law school
96. 3:55she is set to begin law school this
97. 3:56summer with hopes of becoming a
98. 3:58prosecutor should be sentenced no
99. 4:01unanimous no unanimous agreement a year
100. 4:04later we still wait to learn what jod
101. 4:05aras's fate will be a case that changed
102. 4:08the path of some impacted others and
103. 4:11left most asking how could she do it
