  1. 0:00Hey guys, Sal. I know it's been a while
  2. 0:01since I've released any video and that
  3. 0:03is because I've been focused on doing
  4. 0:05some serious development. I cannot wait
  5. 0:07to share all of them with you, but let's
  6. 0:09begin with this one, which does only
  7. 0:10include a redesign of most of the
  8. 0:13dashboard of Jesse. We added almost most
  9. 0:15of the features that have been requested
  10. 0:17during the years to the live trading
  11. 0:19module and I'm proud today to show you
  12. 0:21at least a gist of it. So, let's get
  13. 0:23right to it. So, first of all, you can
  14. 0:25see that the tabs have been redesigned,
  15. 0:27right? And we also have some new
  16. 0:29buttons. Now, let's just start one and
  17. 0:31while that is going let's also go and
  18. 0:34start another one on another exchange.
  19. 0:36Now, this is running on the paper mode.
  20. 0:38Let's also add another one and one more.
  21. 0:40Okay, so we are running four tabs
  22. 0:42simultaneously. All right, so one of the
  23. 0:44things that has changed is the design of
  24. 0:46here, right? So, we have new buttons
  25. 0:47here and new boxes. We also have one
  26. 0:50called the session notes, which is where
  27. 0:52you can add some title or description
  28. 0:54for this a specific session. So, maybe
  29. 0:57you took a trade that you didn't want to
  30. 0:59and you want to learn from that for the
  31. 1:01future or as it is called, you know,
  32. 1:03journaling, right? So, you can do that
  33. 1:05here. You also have a new chart called
  34. 1:08equity curve, which I will show you just
  35. 1:10a little bit later. All right, so we
  36. 1:12also have three tabs here now. So, the
  37. 1:14positions, the trades and the orders.
  38. 1:16This one has also changed and if I click
  39. 1:18on any order, I can see the details of
  40. 1:21it. So, this is also new. And the same
  41. 1:22goes for the trades. If I click on one,
  42. 1:24which we don't have any right now, I can
  43. 1:26see the details of it. We also have the
  44. 1:28position just like before. But, let's
  45. 1:30talk more about these buttons because in
  46. 1:32the past one of the issues was that when
  47. 1:33a trade was closed, there was no way for
  48. 1:35you to browse the trades or the orders
  49. 1:38that were executed. So, you had to open
  50. 1:40your exchange account. But, now you can
  51. 1:42do that right from the dashboard of
  52. 1:44Jesse. So, we have this button here
  53. 1:46called trades. So, if I go here, I can
  54. 1:48see all the trades that were taken by
  55. 1:50this session specifically, which at this
  56. 1:52moment we only have one open trade. And
  57. 1:54if I I on it, I can see some more
  58. 1:56details about it.
  59. 1:58All right, so as you can see, I'm
  60. 1:59getting this error, which brings me to
  61. 2:01something else that has changed. And
  62. 2:02that is we only have one breaking change
  63. 2:04in this release. It's not big. Most
  64. 2:06likely your strategy isn't even using
  65. 2:08it. So, let's go here and change the
  66. 2:11code of this and find this function
  67. 2:14which was malfunctioning. So, here's the
  68. 2:16thing, we have another parameter now. It
  69. 2:19is called the closed
  70. 2:21trade. So, in the past, the on closed
  71. 2:24position function only gave you the
  72. 2:26order, but now it will also give you the
  73. 2:29closed trade object. So, you can see,
  74. 2:31for example, what was the P&L of the
  75. 2:33trade that just closed or more details
  76. 2:35about it, which could be handy. All
  77. 2:37right, so let's go back
  78. 2:39and run this one more time.
  79. 2:41>> [snorts]
  80. 2:41>> And again here
  81. 2:43and here.
  82. 2:45And actually, this reminds me of
  83. 2:47something else that has changed. And
  84. 2:49that is in the past, when your session
  85. 2:51got an error, and if you lost that page,
  86. 2:53you couldn't go back and find it. You
  87. 2:55should have looked into the log files,
  88. 2:56which was a bit difficult for some
  89. 2:58people or time-consuming. But now, we
  90. 3:01have a page called sessions history. And
  91. 3:04if I come here, I can see all of them.
  92. 3:06And if I go through one of them, it will
  93. 3:08bring back the error that I had received
  94. 3:11back then. So, this is also something
  95. 3:13really cool. And I can also see the logs
  96. 3:15of that session or the error logs that
  97. 3:17were gotten by it. So, this is also new
  98. 3:20because now the live module has data
  99. 3:22with synchronization for most of its
  100. 3:24features. At least the ones that made
  101. 3:26sense to this point. So, anyways, let's
  102. 3:29close this one and rerun this one more
  103. 3:32time. All right, so this is going again.
  104. 3:36And
  105. 3:38and I was showing the trades. All right,
  106. 3:40so here we have it.
  107. 3:42And you see we can also see the orders
  108. 3:44that were executed for this specific
  109. 3:47trade. We can see its P&L, the fees that
  110. 3:49were paid, when was it opened, when was
  111. 3:51it closed, and what was the holding
  112. 3:53period of it. So, this is pretty
  113. 3:55helpful. And also in this page, we don't
  114. 3:58have to just limit ourselves to that one
  115. 4:00session. So, if I remove this, we can
  116. 4:02see all the trades that have been taken
  117. 4:05by my machine to this point. And I can
  118. 4:07also filter them by things such as the
  119. 4:08exchange, the symbol, the status, like
  120. 4:11was it open or closed, time frame, and
  121. 4:14the type of it, was it long or short
  122. 4:16position. And just like that, we can
  123. 4:17also see the orders of my session. So,
  124. 4:20you see these are the orders that were
  125. 4:23executed for this session specifically.
  126. 4:25And if I remove this, or if I go to the
  127. 4:28orders history page, I can see all the
  128. 4:30orders executed by my machine. And
  129. 4:33again, I can filter them by some
  130. 4:34parameters that actually matter to me.
  131. 4:36So, there we go. We now have orders
  132. 4:37history, trades history, and sessions
  133. 4:40history page. So, we can browse
  134. 4:42everything that we executed before.
  135. 4:44And if you want to purge some of them,
  136. 4:46some of the old ones, you can also do
  137. 4:47that here. And we also have some filters
  138. 4:49here. So, like which sessions were for
  139. 4:52live trading, paper trading, the time
  140. 4:54frame, and also the status of it, like
  141. 4:56is it running right now, were they
  142. 4:58stopped by an error, or were they
  143. 4:59terminated like by my own hands. And one
  144. 5:02cool thing is that I can search them by
  145. 5:04title. So, remember earlier when I said
  146. 5:06that you can add a note to that session.
  147. 5:08Well, here, you can just search through
  148. 5:10them. So, this is also super helpful
  149. 5:12because let's say you're running a
  150. 5:13session and you want to be able to find
  151. 5:15it very easily later. Just go and add a
  152. 5:18note to it, and later you can just
  153. 5:19search for it. Now, let's go back here.
  154. 5:21Now, this is one session.
  155. 5:24And now, by the way, something else is
  156. 5:26also new.
  157. 5:27Now, on this candle chart, we can see
  158. 5:30the buy and sell orders that were
  159. 5:31executed beforehand, right? So, and in
  160. 5:34this strategy, we have executed one buy
  161. 5:36and sell order on every new candle, so
  162. 5:38that's why there's so many of them. But,
  163. 5:40even though my position is closed, for
  164. 5:42example, and I have like three trades
  165. 5:44now, and in the active orders, I only
  166. 5:46have like these two and this one is
  167. 5:48executed. You see, I can see the past
  168. 5:51orders. So, this is also really helpful.
  169. 5:53So, when you are watching this chart,
  170. 5:56you can see for example where was it
  171. 5:58executed an order. So, this is also
  172. 6:01pretty helpful. All right. Now, let me
  173. 6:03show you one of my favorite features of
  174. 6:05it. So, that one is called the equity
  175. 6:07curve. So, you already know what this is
  176. 6:09and especially in back test you've seen
  177. 6:10it. But now, we also have it in live
  178. 6:12trading session. So, you see, because
  179. 6:15the time frame of this specific session
  180. 6:17is 1 minute, we're going to see them 1
  181. 6:20minute by 1 minute, right? So, the last
  182. 6:22one is at this time stamp and this one
  183. 6:24is like with this one.
  184. 6:26And I could also change it. Although, at
  185. 6:28this point because I just started this
  186. 6:30session, it's no use, right? So, if I
  187. 6:32just use the 5 minute, there isn't that
  188. 6:35many of them or the 15 minutes or 1 hour
  189. 6:37or 1 day. But on 1 minute, I can see it
  190. 6:39better.
  191. 6:40But here's how it gets even cooler. So,
  192. 6:43suppose I'm running four sessions
  193. 6:45simultaneously like in this one. Now,
  194. 6:48there's one problem here and that is all
  195. 6:50of them are using the same strategies.
  196. 6:52So, they're going to get the same equity
  197. 6:54curve, right? And but in your actual
  198. 6:56trading, that won't be the case. Now,
  199. 6:58here's the thing. Let's say I want to
  200. 7:00see a quick overview of all the pages
  201. 7:02that I'm running. Well, now we have a
  202. 7:04page for that. So, if I go to the
  203. 7:05overview page, I can see how many
  204. 7:08sessions I have, how many of them are
  205. 7:09running,
  206. 7:10and how many of them have ended with an
  207. 7:12error or whatever.
  208. 7:14We also have buttons to start or restart
  209. 7:16all of them at the same time, which is
  210. 7:17also really helpful because suppose
  211. 7:19you're someone who runs 20 strategies
  212. 7:22simultaneously. In the past, you had to
  213. 7:24restart all of them one by one, which
  214. 7:26was really annoying, right? But now, you
  215. 7:28can start all of them at the same time,
  216. 7:30which is really helpful. We also have a
  217. 7:33new chart called equity comparison. On
  218. 7:35this page, we can find all of them, all
  219. 7:38the equity curves, and And can see for
  220. 7:40example which strategy is doing better.
  221. 7:43And in this example, all the sessions
  222. 7:45that I'm running are using USDT as the
  223. 7:48quote asset or as, you know, the
  224. 7:50settlement currency. But if you have
  225. 7:52other sessions that use other
  226. 7:53currencies, so let's say USDC or USD or
  227. 7:56Euro,
  228. 7:57then you will be able to filter the
  229. 7:59chart by that. So, all of them that use
  230. 8:02Euro for the settlement currency will be
  231. 8:04displayed on one chart and all that use
  232. 8:07UCT will be displayed on one chart like
  233. 8:09this one. We also have a table here
  234. 8:11which allows me to see which ones are
  235. 8:13running, a very short summary of them,
  236. 8:15the name of the strategy, at least the
  237. 8:17first one, the PNL of them, the balance
  238. 8:19of my account, the trades they're taking
  239. 8:22and the number of positions and so on.
  240. 8:24And I can also stop any of them right
  241. 8:27from here, which is also super helpful.
  242. 8:29But now, let me show you this button.
  243. 8:31So, let's say I want to stop all of them
  244. 8:33at the same time. So, instead of doing
  245. 8:35it from here or here, I can just come
  246. 8:38here, click on this, press enter,
  247. 8:41and that's it. Like, all of them are
  248. 8:43stopped at the same time. So, this is
  249. 8:45also super helpful.
  250. 8:47Now, one more thing I added is that
  251. 8:49there's been times when I really wanted
  252. 8:51to export all the API keys of exchanges
  253. 8:54from one account of Jesse
  254. 8:56and import it into another account which
  255. 8:59I was running on another server. Now,
  256. 9:01this isn't going to be a use case for
  257. 9:03all of you guys, but if you trade on
  258. 9:06multiple servers, for example, you're
  259. 9:07going to need this, right? You have
  260. 9:09probably faced this situation.
  261. 9:11And because of that, we added one button
  262. 9:13for exporting all of the existing keys
  263. 9:16and also another for importing them. So,
  264. 9:19this is also something small that is
  265. 9:21going to make some of you guys happy.
  266. 9:23Now, besides these, I also did some
  267. 9:24minor improvements to the design of
  268. 9:26Monte Carlo optimization and backtesting
  269. 9:29page, which you might like. And last,
  270. 9:31but definitely not least, is that
  271. 9:33because, as I mentioned, we have full
  272. 9:35database synchronization now, at least
  273. 9:37wherever it makes sense. There's also
  274. 9:39one huge improvement. So, in the past,
  275. 9:41if you had some running backtest tabs or
  276. 9:44live tabs, it doesn't matter. So, in any
  277. 9:46page that we support tabs in order so
  278. 9:48you can do something simultaneously. So,
  279. 9:51for example, in here, I could run
  280. 9:53multiple backtests simultaneously,
  281. 9:55right? Well, we had the tabs, and maybe
  282. 9:57I was getting some kind of result. Like
  283. 9:59in this case, I'm getting an error. It
  284. 10:01doesn't matter. But yeah, so this is
  285. 10:02some sort of result at least. If I were
  286. 10:05to copy this and open inside another
  287. 10:07browser, so let's say on this page now,
  288. 10:10which is using the Brave browser, so
  289. 10:12it's not Google Chrome anymore. Well, by
  290. 10:14the way, we also have this new cool
  291. 10:16loading, all right?
  292. 10:18Uh so, let's switch to dark mode so it
  293. 10:20doesn't bother you guys. All right, so
  294. 10:22you see I'm getting the exact tabs here,
  295. 10:25including this one which was getting an
  296. 10:27error because in the past we were
  297. 10:29syncing the data for the tabs in the
  298. 10:33local storage of the browser. But now
  299. 10:35we're doing everything in your database.
  300. 10:37So, this is also something that maybe it
  301. 10:39was bothering some of you guys, but now
  302. 10:41again we listened to the feedback and we
  303. 10:43added it here. I hope you guys liked the
  304. 10:46features that were mentioned in this
  305. 10:47release. Now, my job is not over. We're
  306. 10:49going to continue to listen to your
  307. 10:51feedback and improve all the features
  308. 10:53including live trading. All right, now I
  309. 10:55want to explore a little bit what I'm
  310. 10:57working on right now for the future
  311. 10:59releases. So, we have two big branches
  312. 11:03in the work. They're both related to AI.
  313. 11:05One of them is about agents and LLMs and
  314. 11:08whatever that you've been hearing like a
  315. 11:09lot these days, and maybe you've been a
  316. 11:11little sick of it. Although, you should
  317. 11:13see how we're using it. And the other is
  318. 11:15about AI, but not related to LLMs. It's
  319. 11:19related to machine learning. You know,
  320. 11:20that shiny tool that all the hedge funds
  321. 11:23are supposedly using it. Well, I'm going
  322. 11:26to add it to Jesse and make it easy for
  323. 11:28everybody to use. I cannot wait to share
  324. 11:30all of them with you guys. Now, by the
  325. 11:31way, I'm assuming most of you guys
  326. 11:33watching this video already own a
  327. 11:34premium account and are supporting the
  328. 11:36project that way and I really appreciate
  329. 11:38you guys. If you don't already own a
  330. 11:40premium lifetime account, well, now
  331. 11:42might be the best time because I'm going
  332. 11:44to run a short promotion with a limited
  333. 11:47number of people who can enter. So,
  334. 11:48don't lose the discount. Now, thank you
  335. 11:50so much for supporting the project. I'll
  336. 11:52see you in the next video.
