Full transcript
- 0:00I was so chubby.
- 0:01>> I mean, it was just like
- 0:03Michelin man had nothing on her. And I
- 0:05thought she was the prettiest thing in
- 0:06the whole world. And she was.
- 0:08>> My mom would invite anybody in for
- 0:09sandwiches.
- 0:10>> She was just like, "Y'all come on in and
- 0:12have a sweet tea. This is Britney's
- 0:13room."
- 0:14>> I love going on set and it's really cool
- 0:17to watch her do what she loves.
- 0:19>> That was a day that I thought I'd lost
- 0:20my daughter and God gave her back to me
- 0:23and that's just the truth of the matter.
- 0:24I don't get to ask for anything else in
- 0:25life because I got the biggest blessing.
- 0:27>> [snorts]
- 0:28>> Oh, look at my mom. Isn't she beautiful?
- 0:30>> She's so pretty.
- 0:31>> Everything we did, I was kind of like
- 0:33Ivey in that sense. I just thought like
- 0:34we're all everything we're doing is
- 0:35because of me. Um this was just a
- 0:38typical like childhood for me. Like I
- 0:39got to be around all the kids, all the
- 0:41girls, all the family and
- 0:44spoiled rotten. And we just got to do
- 0:46all the fun things. I was just like the
- 0:47tag along. Kind of like Ivey is with you
- 0:48and your friends.
- 0:49>> Yeah.
- 0:50>> And my mom made everything really fun.
- 0:51Look how cute she is.
- 0:52>> You have to understand, I grew up and
- 0:54like we were in the Mickey Mouse Club.
- 0:55Like my life was always basically we all
- 0:57sang, we all danced. It was kind of one
- 0:59of those like family of entertainers.
- 1:01So, it was never bizarre to me that we
- 1:03were singing and dancing and that was
- 1:04just something we did. And then one time
- 1:06they came and did a photo shoot at my
- 1:07school and we all got to get out of
- 1:09class and go be part of the photo shoot
- 1:11and I was like, "Yeah,
- 1:12something's happening here and I really
- 1:14like it." I do remember thinking that
- 1:16was really cool, but that's when I
- 1:18noticed and then like my mom like people
- 1:20would come drive by our house. My mom
- 1:21would invite anybody in for sandwiches
- 1:23and I remember one time it was a little
- 1:25scary and I was like, "Yeah, things have
- 1:26changed." And you know, you don't invite
- 1:28every stranger into your house and feed
- 1:30them.
- 1:30>> She was just like, "Oh, that's so great,
- 1:32y'all. Y'all come on in and have a sweet
- 1:34tea. This is Britney's room. This is
- 1:36Jamie Lynn's. Jamie Lynn didn't have a
- 1:37room, but she shares with her." She's
- 1:38just like,
- 1:39>> "Mom, enough. They know exactly where to
- 1:40come get us."
- 1:43>> Crossroads was a lot of fun. We're
- 1:45digging up a time capsule here.
- 1:47>> Let's be best friends forever. We love
- 1:50>> I don't think I've ever actually watched
- 1:51the movie.
- 1:52>> I don't think you've ever seen the
- 1:52movie. It's a great movie. You really
- 1:54should watch it.
- 1:55>> like we'll watch it. I don't know. It's
- 1:57kind of weird. Like I never watch
- 1:59anything really that anybody's doing.
- 2:01>> were in the Zoey movie. Did you watch
- 2:02it?
- 2:03>> And like I like hate watching myself.
- 2:05Like it was really cool experience like
- 2:07watching myself and like
- 2:08>> But yeah. I don't know. This was like
- 2:10really fun cuz it was like obviously a
- 2:11movie and stuff. And I think my friend
- 2:13Krystal, there was us three and then
- 2:15there was my friend Krystal actually
- 2:16played the other person. I remember
- 2:19always just never thinking of anything
- 2:21other than I want to act. I want to I
- 2:22really wanted to act so much like there
- 2:24was church playings and different things
- 2:25like that that you know anything they
- 2:27would let me be in I would be in. And I
- 2:30mean commercials, every everything I
- 2:32would try out for it. It did not matter.
- 2:33I was like, "Mom, please please please
- 2:35just let me go try out for it." And then
- 2:36finally I got a Clorox commercial and I
- 2:38was like, "Well, I've made it. Like
- 2:40This is the big time." That kind of led
- 2:43to me be on All That and then go into
- 2:44Zoey and those other moments. But I was
- 2:46think I was kind of a brat on Crossroads
- 2:48because like they made me wear like
- 2:50these older clothes and I'd be like, "I
- 2:52look so stupid." I kept Mom was like,
- 2:53"You're going back in time. It's a part
- 2:55of the character." That was like the
- 2:56first harsh lesson I had of me like,
- 2:57"You're playing a character. You're not
- 2:59even speaking. You're just um digging up
- 3:01a box." So that was one of those
- 3:03learning moments. Thank God I learned
- 3:04there.
- 3:06You got to meet a lot of these people
- 3:07when we did the the reboot. This was uh
- 3:11I can remember this day very much in
- 3:13teen form. I remember I hated
- 3:15everything. And I was like, "I don't
- 3:16want to take one more photo." You know,
- 3:17teenagers were always the worst version
- 3:19of ourselves in our eyes.
- 3:20And now I'm like, "Look how cute we
- 3:22were." We were all really cute. I love
- 3:24everyone on this cast. Everyone's so
- 3:26sweet and I just look back on this time
- 3:28as like just like a fun time that I got
- 3:30to do something that's special that
- 3:31people still love.
- 3:32>> I'm a nuisance in here.
- 3:33>> Cool. Yeah, I I think it's great that uh
- 3:35PCA is finally letting in girls and uh
- 3:38you probably did too being being a girl
- 3:40and all. No offense.
- 3:42>> It's okay. I'm used to it. Been a girl
- 3:44my whole life.
- 3:45>> Whenever I was on All That, they had I
- 3:48guess kind of like Amanda Bynes had done
- 3:50at the time and somebody I really looked
- 3:51up to like they kind of decided we would
- 3:53love to create a show with you. They
- 3:55didn't really have some idea hard locked
- 3:57in and so that allowed me some input
- 3:59which was
- 4:00at that time I was very much a tomboy. I
- 4:02was going through a big tomboy stage and
- 4:04I wanted her to play sports. I didn't
- 4:06want it to be like the girls and the
- 4:08boys. I really wanted her to have the
- 4:09strong sense of self and one of the
- 4:12first episodes is that it's an all boys
- 4:13school and we come in and not only do we
- 4:15come in but we have our own basketball
- 4:17team and kind of about girls like
- 4:19creating their own space in the world
- 4:20and even at that age was important to me
- 4:22and they let me do that which is wow,
- 4:24what were they thinking?
- 4:24>> Are you seriously going to put a girl on
- 4:26our team?
- 4:27>> Hey, you catch on quick for a guy.
- 4:32Bye teammates.
- 4:33>> I've tried to watch it. The show is good
- 4:36but I've just never I get weird like
- 4:39it's really cool going on set watching
- 4:41her do everything but watching her on TV
- 4:43I kind of just would rather not.
- 4:44[laughter]
- 4:46But Ivy loves watching it and she has it
- 4:49on in the house all the time. I'm like,
- 4:51this is a little weird.
- 4:52>> And I do find it awkward like the when
- 4:53my little girl is watching it and I'm
- 4:54like it would be very strange if you
- 4:56were to come into my home and you see
- 4:58that like my children are watching my
- 4:59show. Like don't you think that's a I'm
- 5:00like can we not do this? Can we not
- 5:02watch the show?
- 5:03And it was also confusing for her
- 5:05because she thought like we'd sit down
- 5:06I'd go have lunch with her and her
- 5:07friends and Ivy would be like, "Mom,
- 5:09tell me about the time that you had the
- 5:10bowling ball dropped on you." And I'm
- 5:11like, "What are you doing?" Like she's
- 5:12making this up. It was on Zoey so she
- 5:14thought like that was my real life
- 5:16childhood. So she's like wanting me to
- 5:18tell them all these stories. I'm like, I
- 5:18don't and I didn't even remember half of
- 5:20them. So it's probably better you didn't
- 5:22like watch it cuz it did
- 5:24Ivy probably thinks that my life is very
- 5:25different than what it [laughter]
- 5:26actually is.
- 5:29Look at your chubby little face.
- 5:30>> I was so chubby. Oh my goodness. Look at
- 5:32my wrist.
- 5:33>> She had what we like to call the
- 5:34screw-on wrist. I mean I'm telling you
- 5:36the doctors were like she is very large.
- 5:39She was the large like she was just I
- 5:40mean it was just like
- 5:42Michelin man had nothing on her and I
- 5:44thought she was the prettiest thing in
- 5:46the whole world And she was, and she
- 5:48was. But she was just my chubby little
- 5:50girl.
- 5:50>> Whenever I became pregnant, that was the
- 5:53first time that I was like, "Oh my gosh,
- 5:54this is a real-life decision. This isn't
- 5:56just some like work decision I'm
- 5:57making." And I was already scared. And I
- 6:00knew how embarrassed and like unideal
- 6:03this was for everyone involved,
- 6:04including my family. So, to have that
- 6:07decision be so scrutinized, which I
- 6:09wasn't telling anybody what they should
- 6:11or shouldn't do with their body. I was
- 6:12just saying, "This is what I have to do
- 6:13for me. This is what I want to do." And
- 6:15so, I made a choice and I was, you know,
- 6:17called
- 6:19the biggest
- 6:21you know, the biggest
- 6:23letdown in the world. And it was all I
- 6:24mean, it was on the every big news
- 6:26station, everywhere I went. And I was
- 6:27like, "Okay, thanks, guys. I know. Can
- 6:29you not?" And that would never fly
- 6:31today. Like, people would be
- 6:33absolutely, you know, canceled for
- 6:35saying those things. But at the time, it
- 6:37just is that was the time we were living
- 6:38in. And then, while I was pregnant, I
- 6:40just came in as you can tell, I moved to
- 6:41the middle of nowhere, but actually
- 6:42Mississippi, even in the further middle
- 6:44of nowhere, cuz I didn't want to be
- 6:45around
- 6:46the paparazzi and that stuff. And that
- 6:47didn't stop. They still There was at
- 6:49least like 15 to 20 paparazzi followed
- 6:51me everywhere I went. In the middle of
- 6:53nowhere.
- 6:54And I'll be honest with you, it just
- 6:55kind of like made it more clear like
- 6:57what I wanted to do. And an innocent
- 7:00child being brought into the world,
- 7:01whether she knows it or not, we should
- 7:02have some care about like what we're
- 7:04saying about the future of other
- 7:06people's, you know, children. And to me,
- 7:08that was important that I wanted her to
- 7:11have a mom she was proud of. I wanted to
- 7:12make sure that it wasn't her fault that
- 7:15she got, you know, a mom who was 16 and
- 7:17pregnant. So, I wanted to make sure I
- 7:19did everything right. And so, I just
- 7:20tried to keep making the right decision,
- 7:22right decision, because hopefully it
- 7:23would make up for
- 7:24all these other ones that people said
- 7:26that weren't true, but those are going
- 7:28to live on forever. I mean, today, I
- 7:30mean
- 7:31TikTok comments. Really. And we're able
- 7:34to laugh at them, but you know, think if
- 7:36those things were true. Like, it
- 7:37probably would really hurt her, you
- 7:38know? So, her TikToks every
- 7:40>> My TikTok is all like, "You're the
- 7:42reasons I want a one ever. I can't
- 7:44believe you're in my show." And and I'm
- 7:46like, "Guys, like if only you knew."
- 7:48>> Honestly, she laughs about it. Some of
- 7:49the comments are so funny.
- 7:52As you could tell, like she was my
- 7:53world. This is back before we took
- 7:54everything on iPhones. Like we'd have to
- 7:56get pictures done every year, you know,
- 7:57for Christmas. That was our thing. And
- 7:59it was just really me and her. I learned
- 8:02a lot about just being okay with being
- 8:04by myself. And really she was just She
- 8:07made everything easy because like I knew
- 8:09what I was doing it for, I guess you
- 8:10could say. And I'm sure I did a lot of
- 8:12dumb things as like being a young mom
- 8:14that thank God we didn't have as much
- 8:15social media as we do now. But it was
- 8:18one of those times where I just feel
- 8:19like I grew up, like I had to grow up.
- 8:21And maybe I never would have if I didn't
- 8:22have her.
- 8:23You know, kind of the one being like,
- 8:25"Look, you this little girl needs you.
- 8:27Like you better figure this out." Do you
- 8:29remember anything about these pictures?
- 8:30>> I do not remember that at all.
- 8:31>> It's probably for the better.
- 8:32>> But I love that picture. I think it's so
- 8:33cute.
- 8:34>> I remember this little Ralph Lauren
- 8:35dress. It was like a little vintage one
- 8:37that I thought was so cute. And I was
- 8:38like, "We have to take all the
- 8:39pictures."
- 8:39>> Growing up, I got to experience so many
- 8:42cool things. And like I realized it was
- 8:45a bunch of opportunities that maybe
- 8:46other people wouldn't get. And
- 8:49to me it always just seemed normal. She
- 8:51did a really good job of like giving me
- 8:53like a normal childhood. I never felt
- 8:55different or anything.
- 8:57>> Well, she had like That was a point I
- 9:00feel like I overdid it in some ways cuz
- 9:01I wanted her to have such a normal
- 9:02childhood. Sometimes I probably over
- 9:05extended that. But she did think like
- 9:07all pop stars were her aunts. So that
- 9:09was
- 9:10>> I [laughter] just think that.
- 9:11>> She was like, "Aunt Gaga, Aunt Rihanna."
- 9:13I was like, "No, no, no, no. It's not
- 9:15It's not how it works."
- 9:16>> I remember one time like passing her in
- 9:18the hallway. And I was kind of like,
- 9:20"Why Why didn't she talk to me?" Like
- 9:22>> [laughter]
- 9:22>> That's my aunt. Like
- 9:26>> Yeah. [gasps]
- 9:27You know, cuz you go to these different
- 9:28events and award shows. Like we're just
- 9:29like in the back there like in our
- 9:30T-shirt and stuff. And I'm sure like
- 9:31she's like offended that every pop star
- 9:34is not like stopping by to see their
- 9:35niece, for goodness' sakes. So,
- 9:37"You don't know those people. They don't
- 9:38know you."
- 9:39>> It was like kind of those cute moments
- 9:40that happened, but too, she was born
- 9:42with, you know, everyone knowing who her
- 9:43family is.
- 9:45As to where I grew up where there I do
- 9:46remember a transition, and she kind of
- 9:48just was born into it. So, there wasn't
- 9:49anything odd about it cuz it's pretty
- 9:51much all she's ever known.
- 9:53>> This was when we moved to Children's
- 9:55Hospital. So, at first, we were in like
- 9:56a level one trauma. They only have a
- 9:58couple of those in Louisiana. So, like
- 9:59that was very serious. But, the tubes
- 10:01had come out here and stuff. And so, she
- 10:02was breathing on her own, but she was
- 10:05she was a little bit out of her mind.
- 10:07And so, this was the time where I was
- 10:09like, "Okay, this is my baby girl now."
- 10:11Like I didn't care. She didn't recognize
- 10:13me at first. And then she recognized
- 10:15other people, and I was like,
- 10:16I remember going to the bathroom crying.
- 10:17I was like, "Okay,
- 10:18like it's fine.
- 10:19>> It's fine that mom was Carrie Underwood
- 10:21when I was
- 10:21>> Yeah, she did. She asked me like, "Why
- 10:23is Carrie Underwood here?" Like was one
- 10:25of her questions. I was like,
- 10:27But, she also was like, "Why is it
- 10:28raining apples outside?" So, we were a
- 10:29little like, "Okay." You know, that was
- 10:31a day that I thought I'd lost my
- 10:33daughter. And then God gave her back to
- 10:35me, and that's just the truth of the
- 10:37matter. When we heard that they got a
- 10:38pulse, that was the most sweetest words
- 10:41I'd ever heard. And so, you think back
- 10:43to that moment and how tragic that was,
- 10:45how you go from the worst thing you
- 10:47could ever feel as a person to the best
- 10:49thing you could ever feel as a person.
- 10:51Everything kind of shifts in
- 10:52perspective. And
- 10:53then on top of it, not only I didn't
- 10:55care how God gave her to me. I just was
- 10:57so happy to have her.
- 10:59But, how in the world did he give her
- 11:00back? And then he gave her back in a way
- 11:02that like she's succeeding. She's
- 11:03beautiful. She's kind. She's smart. I
- 11:06feel like I don't get to ask for
- 11:07anything else in life because I got the
- 11:09biggest blessing. And I just think it
- 11:10puts it into perspective like just the
- 11:12baseline of having a healthy child is
- 11:14really the biggest gift. And everything
- 11:16on top of that is like, "Wow, what what
- 11:18in the world? How did I get so lucky?"
- 11:21And I think that's where it shifts. You
- 11:22know, you start to think about what
- 11:23really matters. And obviously, for her,
- 11:25she's strong. She's a fighter.
- 11:27And
- 11:28I think that she just needs to remember
- 11:30like out against all odds this baby girl
- 11:32fought to be here and she's here.
- 11:34>> I don't remember anything from the
- 11:35accident
- 11:37but you know, seeing like everything I
- 11:39put my family through and everything was
- 11:42like I felt guilty. I was like I'm so
- 11:43sorry.
- 11:44>> I saved you. She would feel guilty. Like
- 11:45how could you feel guilty?
- 11:47>> Yeah, it definitely like
- 11:50I feel like for everybody like our faith
- 11:52like we got a lot stronger in our faith
- 11:54and everything.
- 11:55>> And
- 11:56in the end I think it positive such a
- 11:59negative experience affected us
- 12:01positively.
- 12:02>> Yeah, it did. I did I definitely like
- 12:04grew in my faith and also too
- 12:07whenever she was in a coma and stuff and
- 12:09she was in the hospital I would like she
- 12:11had been begging me for a little
- 12:12sibling.
- 12:13>> Yeah.
- 12:13>> And so I was like I'm I mean you're
- 12:15bargaining with God. You're like you're
- 12:16whatever take my arm, take my leg. I
- 12:18don't care. Just give me my baby back. I
- 12:20was like I'll have a baby. I'll have
- 12:22whatever you want. And so when she came
- 12:23out of her coma like a few days later
- 12:25she's like you're going to give me that
- 12:26baby? And I was like
- 12:28He's already calling it in. He's already
- 12:30calling it in. And so um about three or
- 12:33four months later I got pregnant with
- 12:34Ivy. So we always say she just went up
- 12:36to heaven to go pick out her little
- 12:37sister.
- 12:40>> She was so little.
- 12:41>> And look at she came out with this dark
- 12:42brown hair.
- 12:42>> Full head of hair.
- 12:43>> Full head of hair, dark hair. My mom was
- 12:45so proud. She's like I finally got my
- 12:47grand baby with the black hair like
- 12:49mine.
- 12:50And then she went immediately to blonde
- 12:52curly hair.
- 12:53>> This was like our first like cute little
- 12:54family photo
- 12:56after I
- 12:57had my little Ivy. Look at her. Look at
- 12:59you.
- 13:00>> I I always say like forget my husband I
- 13:02couldn't have done it without her. Like
- 13:03she's the sweetest big sister, the best
- 13:05example, so helpful.
- 13:07I don't have to tell Maddie to do the
- 13:08right thing and so that just really
- 13:10helps. Like Ivy needs that example in
- 13:11her life. Like at her one of her like
- 13:14kindergarten grad and maybe it wasn't
- 13:15kindergarten it was Montessori
- 13:16graduation and everyone like comes
- 13:18across the big screen up top. You know,
- 13:19you don't know what your kids going to
- 13:21say and everybody is like you know, what
- 13:23do you want to be when you grow up and
- 13:24all the kids are like police officer,
- 13:25fireman and it comes across the Ivy's
- 13:28and it's movie star. I was like,
- 13:30cuz like people probably think I asked
- 13:32her to do that or something, but no.
- 13:33That's what she says she wants to do,
- 13:34but we'll see.
- 13:36Let her enjoy it.
- 13:37>> to be a rapper.
- 13:39>> What?
- 13:39>> Yeah.
- 13:40>> A rapper?
- 13:41>> She told me [snorts and laughter] that
- 13:42the other day.
- 13:43And I was like
- 13:44>> Okay, guys, this is new. This is a
- 13:46developing story.
- 13:49This is about Sweet Magnolias family.
- 13:50They're the best family. They really
- 13:52are. Like I love every single person in
- 13:54this picture.
- 13:55And my little girl Becks on the show,
- 13:57well, she's actually a twin, so I get to
- 13:59have I'm like I have my own real life
- 14:01Mary-Kate Nashly and they're precious.
- 14:03>> I love going on set. It's It's such like
- 14:06It's almost like a big family. Like
- 14:08everyone's so sweet. And it's really
- 14:10cool to watch her do what she loves.
- 14:12>> People say they'll tell me, "Oh, we're
- 14:13like a family on set." No, like we
- 14:14really are.
- 14:15>> They really are.
- 14:16>> Thanks to all four of you for helping me
- 14:18become the woman I dreamed of being when
- 14:20I first arrived in Serenity.
- 14:21>> Sweet Magnolias has been the biggest
- 14:23blessing in my life. It was a job that I
- 14:25got. I was actually in Netflix meeting
- 14:26about something different. I sat down
- 14:28and one of the producers like, "Would
- 14:29you possibly want to read for this show?
- 14:30It's not the main character." I was
- 14:31like, "Yeah, sure. Like I love I love
- 14:34any reason to get back to acting."
- 14:36And I read for Noreen. It was a perfect
- 14:39fit. It was supposed to be a one season
- 14:40character and the show was hugely
- 14:43successful. I guess during the COVID it
- 14:45was kind of during that time and and I
- 14:47got to
- 14:48really get back into doing what I loved,
- 14:50but with the best group of people, the
- 14:52best environment for families. Everyone
- 14:55has kids. There's like so many of us, so
- 14:57like the shooting schedule we might
- 14:58shoot for four or five months, but I get
- 15:00to go to Atlanta maybe for two days and
- 15:02I can come back home for three days. The
- 15:03shooting schedule is very different, so
- 15:04I'm able to be really present with my
- 15:07kids, but also doing a job that I love
- 15:10and provides for my family. It's truly
- 15:11the coolest thing to be a part of and
- 15:13like Joe and everyone has just become
- 15:15like some of my closest friends, so it's
- 15:17like the best job in the world and I
- 15:18just love that people love it because
- 15:20they allow me to do this job, which is
- 15:22kind of unbelievable.
- 15:25The funny thing about this photo is that
- 15:26she's holding her diploma here, but I
- 15:27did not take a photo singularly of like
- 15:31her with her diploma. Didn't they do it
- 15:32at school?
- 15:33>> Yes, they did.
- 15:34>> Okay. So, that was the one thing I kept
- 15:36trying to like use AI to like put her
- 15:37diploma in there, but this is a real
- 15:39photo of us actually. Very proud moment.
- 15:41You can't really see the display that I
- 15:42worked on very hard back there. Did that
- 15:44for about 2 or 3 days, me and other
- 15:46moms. But yeah, it was a really special
- 15:48moment. I was so proud. It It's like
- 15:49you're watching a movie when you're
- 15:50watching your kid graduate. Cuz I'm like
- 15:53you see all these things in a movie and
- 15:54like this is what's supposed to happen,
- 15:56but then when it's really you, it's
- 15:57almost like you're in like some type of
- 15:59animation of your own life cuz you're
- 16:00like my kid's really doing the thing
- 16:02like they're supposed to do and you're
- 16:03so proud, but it's a surreal moment. I
- 16:05mean, I don't know for you, you were
- 16:06just like ready to go hang out with your
- 16:08friends, but
- 16:08>> It definitely like hasn't hit me that I
- 16:10graduated. I don't think it'll hit me
- 16:12until I go to college, but I do agree,
- 16:15it feels kind of surreal.
- 16:16>> Senior year, there's a lot of these
- 16:18little moments that you don't think are
- 16:19important, but they're big moments. And
- 16:20so,
- 16:21I guess maybe selfishly because I didn't
- 16:23have a normal senior year and I never
- 16:25really had a normal school years
- 16:27experience. I wanted to just be there
- 16:29and be present. And she got voted on
- 16:31homecoming court and I got to like do
- 16:32all these very stereotypical like senior
- 16:34mom-daughter things that some people
- 16:36might laugh at, but it was so special to
- 16:38me. I got to really have those moments
- 16:40with her and it was just kind of like
- 16:41watching a movie of my life, but I'm so
- 16:43glad I took the time off to kind of just
- 16:45really be there, be present for her
- 16:46senior year. And it made me proud to be
- 16:48like, "My daughter's doing all these
- 16:49things and I get to kind of have like
- 16:51that bragging right of being like I get
- 16:53to be a part of it." And maybe there was
- 16:55like the little girl in me being like,
- 16:56"I didn't get to do any of this. This is
- 16:57really, really cool."
- 17:03It is a really fun chapter for us, but
- 17:05it's also kind of
- 17:07I I keep saying bittersweet because
- 17:09you're so proud of her and everything
- 17:11she's done, she's accomplished. I mean,
- 17:12she's going to go play ball in college
- 17:14and academically she's done very well,
- 17:16but I'm also just kind of like
- 17:18not having your baby at home every day
- 17:20cuz she's always been my baby. So I'm
- 17:21just
- 17:22I'm excited, but I'm just like I like
- 17:24also I just cried in the car. That's
- 17:25pretty much it.
- 17:27>> Definitely going to be an adjustment
- 17:28being away from home, but I'm very
- 17:30excited to play softball and be on my
- 17:32own as well. Never forget like family's
- 17:35most important like we're always going
- 17:37to be here and no matter what happens,
- 17:39you know, we'll always have each other's
- 17:41back.
- 17:42>> I don't want you to ever forget that you
- 17:43are quite literally
- 17:45so special. God has you here for a
- 17:47reason.
- 17:48And you are the strongest person I know.
- 17:50There is not one thing you should be
- 17:51afraid of on this earth. Because you
- 17:53made me strong because you're so strong.
- 17:55So don't forget that. Anybody comes for
- 17:57you just look at them and be like no,
- 17:58no, no. My mom said I was strong. So
- 18:00bye.
