  2. 0:03someone who is about to become
  3. 0:04commander-in-chief trashing the
  4. 0:06intelligence community. I think there is
  5. 0:09an important distinction here between um
  6. 0:13healthy skepticism which policymakers to
  7. 0:17include policy maker number one uh
  8. 0:19should always have for intelligence but
  9. 0:21I think there's a difference between
  10. 0:24um skepticism and
  11. 0:27uh disparagement
  12. 0:30and I assume that the biggest
  13. 0:32benefactors of the American people
  14. 0:35having less confidence in the
  15. 0:36intelligence community are in fact the
  16. 0:39actors you have named today. Iran, North
  17. 0:42Korea, China, Russia and ISIS.
  18. 0:48The intelligence community is uh not
  19. 0:52perfect. Uh we are an organization of
  20. 0:55human beings and we're prone sometimes
  21. 0:58to make uh errors. I I don't think
  22. 1:02uh the intelligence community gets the
  23. 1:04credit it's due for
  24. 1:08um what it does day in and day out to
  25. 1:09keep this nation safe and secure and the
  26. 1:11number of plots in just one example
  27. 1:15terrorist plots that have been thwarted.
