- 0:44Everybody,
- 1:12oh my forgiveness and I looked at this
- 1:15very closely on the moment that I got
- 1:18out
- 1:19and it was asking me what caused me to
- 1:22feel this way about.
- 1:23>> Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:25>> And then I thought about what my sister
- 1:27was telling me from her back. She was in
- 1:29the backside of me and she was telling
- 1:30me just think real hard and you can
- 1:33think about things that put you in this
- 1:36situation. And then I thought about
- 1:38Joseph. And Joseph was was a perfect guy
- 1:43to look at and to think about of his
- 1:46situation of being incarcerated
- 1:49and being incarcerated as well by the
- 1:51people who put him there
- 1:54and that's what been moving me ever
- 1:56since.
- 1:58>> But you've always been consistent
- 2:00wanting to give back. Where did that uh
- 2:03that spirit of service come from? Well,
- 2:06just why I tell people all over the
- 2:10globe just uh
- 2:13just feel like Jesus feel just give all
- 2:17that up and just gave it to him and just
- 2:20move forward.
- 2:22>> But did you ever think that you would
- 2:25ever get out?

- 3:11The first day I got out, I'm going out
- 3:13the courtroom and my sister happened to
- 3:16be behind me and I'm kind of
- 3:18contemplating my head what to say or
- 3:20what to do cuz I'm scared and I'm
- 3:23frightened and I'm not used to being in
- 3:25front of no cameras. And then she
- 3:27mentioned in my ear while I was standing
- 3:30there, use Joseph. First of all, y'all
- 3:33have to know who Joseph is. He was
- 3:35stolen in prison
- 3:37for a very long time. I came about
- 3:41Joseph because I'm trying to contemplate
- 3:45what I need to make this story complete
- 3:48once I get out. So, I use that and I've
- 3:51been using it for the last 15 years
- 3:54since I've been out.
- 3:55>> Mr. Bane, it seems like reading and
- 3:59still getting educated while you were in

- 4:27watching and the struggle they went
- 4:29through to get to what they had to do to
- 4:31get what we got here today. I came to be
