  1. 0:00I know it gets said a lot, doom and
  2. 0:02gloom, bah humbug, everyone's getting
  3. 0:04stupider, all the idiot beams and [ __ ]
  4. 0:08potion that's contaminating our our
  5. 0:11brains, you know, rotting us. Everyone's
  6. 0:14just dumber and then the conversation
  7. 0:16around the Flynn effect, which was about
  8. 0:18the steady increase in IQ and cognitive
  9. 0:21performance, where what you expect is as
  10. 0:24generations come, they are increasingly
  11. 0:27smarter than the previous generation due
  12. 0:28to having more access to information and
  13. 0:30learning from the previous generation.
  14. 0:32But in recent times, there's been a
  15. 0:33reverse Flynn effect where now there is
  16. 0:36showing a decline in cognitive
  17. 0:38measurements with the newest generation
  18. 0:40compared to the previous one. And a lot
  19. 0:42of times, this kind of stuff gets
  20. 0:44misrepresented or exaggerated or just
  21. 0:46actually [ __ ] pulled out of their ass
  22. 0:48and is not even based on anything real.
  23. 0:51But I do think there's a strong
  24. 0:52arguments with compelling evidence to
  25. 0:54suggest that kids growing up in the
  26. 0:56current day and age are not getting
  27. 0:59access to correct information and are
  28. 1:01just inundated with gobbledygook. And in
  29. 1:04a lot of cases, it's not their fault.
  30. 1:07There are tons of parents now that don't
  31. 1:10really take an active role in their
  32. 1:12children's lives and instead put the
  33. 1:15onus on the internet to raise their kids
  34. 1:17for them and then are shocked to find
  35. 1:19them on like brain rot TikTok, even
  36. 1:21though they just give them unrestricted,
  37. 1:23unfiltered access to the worldwide web.
  38. 1:26And even someone like Sam Altman
  39. 1:28continues to reinforce this path about
  40. 1:30like, "Well, use AI to raise your kids.
  41. 1:33Have it make AI-generated podcasts and
  42. 1:36calendars so you don't have to talk to
  43. 1:38your kids. You don't have to listen to
  44. 1:39your kids blabber on about it. I
  45. 1:40couldn't even imagine raising my baby
  46. 1:42without AI doing it for me." So,
  47. 1:45kids are finding access to the internet
  48. 1:48and just getting fed so much garbage and
  49. 1:50a lot of it is incorrect, especially
  50. 1:52because in the current day and age,
  51. 1:53there is a lot of AI slop and a lot of
  52. 1:55just completely wrong made up stuff that
  53. 1:58is solely there to farm clicks and
  54. 2:00impressions and isn't real. But, it's
  55. 2:02not even just that. Take a look at this
  56. 2:04alarming story I just learned about
  57. 2:07about a school that gave the students an
  58. 2:11agenda
  59. 2:12that was just rife with AI-generated
  60. 2:15mumbo jumbo, none of it being real.
  61. 2:18>> Well, I bet you've never seen this US
  62. 2:20map before where Kentucky is Kanveky,
  63. 2:23Indiana is Inolana, and Tennessee is
  64. 2:26Tunaseo, and the list goes on. Well,
  65. 2:28this was in the agenda given to students
  66. 2:30at a JCPS middle school.
  67. 2:33When Stacey Morris's son got in the car
  68. 2:35after the first day of school, he said
  69. 2:37something she didn't expect.
  70. 2:39>> Mom, did you know that we live in
  71. 2:41Vaneky?
  72. 2:42>> That's just heartbreaking. So, here's a
  73. 2:44kid who seems excited about learning
  74. 2:46things, taking it to his mom, only to
  75. 2:49find out it's a lie. It's not real. So,
  76. 2:52this school provided their students with
  77. 2:54an AI-generated agenda pulled straight
  78. 2:57from the devil's colon here. Just actual
  79. 3:00hallucinations, none of it being
  80. 3:02accurate to real information.
  81. 3:05So, it's not just kids having
  82. 3:07unrestricted access to the internet
  83. 3:08that's making them like get fed
  84. 3:10incorrect [ __ ] and leading them astray,
  85. 3:13but even the schools now can't even seem
  86. 3:15to be trusted with providing accurate
  87. 3:17information or even doing the bare
  88. 3:18minimum of checking the material that
  89. 3:20they're giving students.
  90. 3:22How did this agenda even make it into
  91. 3:24the students' hands in the first place?
  92. 3:25Did no one at the school, at the
  93. 3:28advisory board, at the district,
  94. 3:29anywhere along the way, the people
  95. 3:31printing it, no one bothered to actually
  96. 3:33look at what was being handed out, what
  97. 3:35was being [ __ ] what like pages were
  98. 3:37being bound together for these agendas?
  99. 3:38No one even took a single look, or even
  100. 3:40worse, maybe they did and didn't care,
  101. 3:42or even worse than that, maybe they did
  102. 3:45and didn't recognize it, didn't even
  103. 3:46realize it. All of it is bad. So, how
  104. 3:49can we even expect children have a
  105. 3:51chance at getting smarter and learning
  106. 3:54when at all angles of their life they
  107. 3:56are getting fed [ __ ] barnacles. It
  108. 3:59just actual fish paste here online. It's
  109. 4:03a bunch of AI generated garbage to farm
  110. 4:07AdSense on YouTube, TikTok, a lot of the
  111. 4:09same song and dance, and even school is
  112. 4:12no longer exempt from this. They are now
  113. 4:15just force-feeding AI generated garbage
  114. 4:17to through their agenda. I wonder what
  115. 4:19the curriculum looks like. Like this was
  116. 4:21the agenda, but maybe the professor,
  117. 4:24like the teacher, is also just going by
  118. 4:27like an AI generated curriculum that is
  119. 4:29feeding potentially incorrect
  120. 4:31information there, too, to the children.
  121. 4:32So, like even what they're being taught
  122. 4:34in the classrooms here, what they're
  123. 4:36being handed in the classrooms, isn't
  124. 4:38accurate information. So, how the [ __ ]
  125. 4:41do they even stand a chance at, you
  126. 4:43know, developing normally and like
  127. 4:47learning and becoming intelligent or
  128. 4:49anything like that when they are at all
  129. 4:52angles betrayed and sabotaged?
  130. 4:55>> And I said, "What are you talking
  131. 4:56about?" That question sent Morris
  132. 4:58flipping through her middle schooler at
  133. 5:00Farnsley's brand new agenda, unveiling
  134. 5:03all sorts of bizarre errors. The
  135. 5:06periodic table is just jarbled words.
  136. 5:10We have new planets called Mark. In this
  137. 5:12US map, Louisiana is Lu Kong. Alabama is
  138. 5:16Al Atome. Illinois is Vit Oise. And
  139. 5:20South Carolina is Sorth Quanto.
  140. 5:23>> Arizona is Arizone.
  141. 5:25I mean,
  142. 5:27Tennessee, there's there's not even the
  143. 5:29correct letters in Tennessee.
  144. 5:31>> It's just so baffling. Like there's
  145. 5:34infinite maps of the US. Like
  146. 5:37why even AI generate one of those?
  147. 5:40Periodic table as well, unlimited access
  148. 5:43to periodic tables in all kinds of fun
  149. 5:46wacky shapes and sizes with correct
  150. 5:48information on it, why are you AI
  151. 5:50generating it? And not only that,
  152. 5:52they're charging for this, which you're
  153. 5:53going to learn about in a second. So,
  154. 5:55you are paying the school for these
  155. 5:57agendas.
  156. 5:59What the [ __ ] Like, this is outrageous.
  157. 6:02This is actually despicable.
  158. 6:03>> And look at these phases of the moon.
  159. 6:06Some are not legible. What should be
  160. 6:08waning crescent says waning crescane.
  161. 6:12And the periodic table where the names
  162. 6:14under the elements are gibberish.
  163. 6:16>> Oh, we have to pay a $10 instructional
  164. 6:19fee every year
  165. 6:20in order to get this agenda.
  166. 6:23So,
  167. 6:24you're making us pay for something that
  168. 6:25you used AI for.
  169. 6:28That's kind of silly in my opinion.
  170. 6:30>> It's more than silly. I think it's
  171. 6:32downright diabolical and dangerous. You
  172. 6:34are paying them
  173. 6:36and they are giving you incorrect
  174. 6:38information
  175. 6:39to your children. You are sending your
  176. 6:41children to these schools with the trust
  177. 6:44that they will be taught. They will
  178. 6:45learn real, accurate things that will
  179. 6:49help them in life, help them grow and
  180. 6:51develop. But instead, what you're paying
  181. 6:54for is AI-generated
  182. 6:57[ __ ] baloney. We like this is it's
  183. 7:01just hogwash. And it hurts the kids.
  184. 7:04This hinders their ability to learn and
  185. 7:08develop. So, it's it's doing the exact
  186. 7:10opposite of what going to school is even
  187. 7:12supposed to do in the first place. It is
  188. 7:15actively making them dumber. It's just
  189. 7:17completely unacceptable. Just sending
  190. 7:19their kids to brain dead academy now, I
  191. 7:21guess. And it's not the parents' fault.
  192. 7:23It's not like they were expecting the
  193. 7:25school to just AI generate the agenda
  194. 7:27here that they're paying for and
  195. 7:29teaching their kids out of. It's so
  196. 7:32[ __ ] up and it's a complete betrayal
  197. 7:34of trust there that does harm the
  198. 7:37children. Like, I would now question
  199. 7:40every single teacher at that school and
  200. 7:42certainly the higher-ups there, because
  201. 7:45if they're not catching something as
  202. 7:46blatantly obvious as these issues that
  203. 7:48are glaring, they are instantly right in
  204. 7:51your face incorrect information that
  205. 7:53you're blasted with in this agenda. And
  206. 7:55if no one there is catching that, it
  207. 7:56makes me question their ability to even
  208. 7:58teach in the first place. I wouldn't
  209. 8:00trust it. I truly wouldn't. I think this
  210. 8:02should be a much bigger deal than it's
  211. 8:04currently being reported as where it's
  212. 8:06more of like a weird silly thing as
  213. 8:08opposed to like a genuinely dangerous
  214. 8:10thing, because I doubt that this is the
  215. 8:11only school doing it. This is probably
  216. 8:13just the only one that's been caught so
  217. 8:14far. So, if kids are now just being, you
  218. 8:18know, trained through brain rot AI slop
  219. 8:21in their schools, too, then it's only
  220. 8:23going to get worse for them. Like they
  221. 8:25don't even have a chance to
  222. 8:28grow or learn or become smart at any
  223. 8:30point. Uh it's just it's sad.
  224. 8:33>> Morris notified the principal the first
  225. 8:35day of school.
  226. 8:36>> Still to this day, she has not responded
  227. 8:38to that email.
  228. 8:39>> Yeah, the principal probably doesn't
  229. 8:40know how to respond to emails on their
  230. 8:42own, so they got to consult Claude first
  231. 8:44in order to drum up a response to that
  232. 8:45one, but any day I'm sure we'll hear
  233. 8:47from the principal.
  234. 8:49>> I reached out to JCPS Tuesday night. The
  235. 8:51district's executive officer of
  236. 8:53communications said, "I spoke with the
  237. 8:55school today about inaccuracies in their
  238. 8:57agenda, and they are communicating with
  239. 8:59parents about the issue." On Wednesday,
  240. 9:02nearly a week after Morris told the
  241. 9:04school, teachers got an email warning of
  242. 9:06a lot of mistakes between pages 19 and
  243. 9:0936, ordering them to have students rip
  244. 9:12the pages out before heading home. Only
  245. 9:15after kids came home with lighter
  246. 9:17agendas did the district email parents
  247. 9:20saying the book contained inaccurate
  248. 9:22information.
  249. 9:23>> This is not a misprint.
  250. 9:24>> Damn right it's not a misprint. That is
  251. 9:26just an AI-generated agenda. They can't
  252. 9:29even be bothered to do the bare minimum
  253. 9:31of putting together an actual agenda
  254. 9:33with real verified correct information.
  255. 9:36They instead just have this
  256. 9:37over-reliance on AI to live their life
  257. 9:39for them and do their job for them. That
  258. 9:41is the path things are going and again,
  259. 9:43not to keep bringing up Voldemort's
  260. 9:45name, but it's something Sam Altman
  261. 9:47constantly champions about like letting
  262. 9:49AI well, soon with the the next
  263. 9:52generation model
  264. 9:54watch every single call,
  265. 9:56read every single email, watch every
  266. 9:59single thing in your life so that way it
  267. 10:00can just do it for you down the line
  268. 10:02offering advice and basically just like
  269. 10:05running your businesses for you, all of
  270. 10:06that. People are now just fully bought
  271. 10:09into that just like hook, line, and
  272. 10:11sinker. All their eggs are in that
  273. 10:12basket. We're now even in a position of
  274. 10:15teaching children, which is a very
  275. 10:18important thing, you know, ensuring that
  276. 10:20children are able to have accurate
  277. 10:22information and learn
  278. 10:24even that job is now just being
  279. 10:27delegated to having AI do it for them
  280. 10:31and it's leading to [ __ ] like this.
  281. 10:33It's It's just craziness. It's just
  282. 10:35craziness.
  283. 10:36>> This is someone did not look at what
  284. 10:38they were handing out to the students.
  285. 10:39>> Morris says it's harmed her trust with
  286. 10:41the school and district.
  287. 10:43>> And it makes you think, okay, was this
  288. 10:45the only school in Jefferson County that
  289. 10:47did this?
  290. 10:50Or are we the only ones that paid
  291. 10:51attention?
  292. 10:53So, I asked JCPS if other schools
  293. 10:55received these agendas and what company
  294. 10:57they were from. The district did not
  295. 10:59respond before this story aired.
  296. 11:01>> Wow.
  297. 11:02>> No surprise there that they're going to
  298. 11:03remain tight-lipped about it and just
  299. 11:05hope everything will blow over and
  300. 11:06people forget and then it'll no doubt
  301. 11:08just continue because
  302. 11:11they would rather have AI do it than
  303. 11:14have them actually do their jobs and
  304. 11:15then they can continue to charge for
  305. 11:17things that cost like [ __ ] zero
  306. 11:19dollars to make.
  307. 11:21Yeehaw.
  308. 11:22All to the detriment of the children
  309. 11:24whom they are supposed to be teaching.
  310. 11:28Wow, indeed.
  311. 11:30Yuck.
  312. 11:31So, yeah.
  313. 11:33I know it gets you after about a lot
  314. 11:34like everyone's getting stupider, you
  315. 11:36know, and kids are getting dumber or
  316. 11:38that kind of thing. And I do think like
  317. 11:40yeah, you can make like a very valid
  318. 11:42argument there, but I don't think it's
  319. 11:44their fault. Like just look at this. How
  320. 11:47is a kid even supposed to combat all of
  321. 11:48this misinformation? It's not like
  322. 11:50they're they're not going to know. As a
  323. 11:52child, you think all grown-ups are like
  324. 11:55a you know, reliable source of
  325. 11:57information that isn't going to just
  326. 11:58like betray your trust or like, you
  327. 12:00know, do you harm in this way? And going
  328. 12:03online cuz all these kids have access to
  329. 12:06the internet just, you know, full free
  330. 12:08for all there. Obviously, they're going
  331. 12:09to get inundated with bad information
  332. 12:11there, but you would expect like schools
  333. 12:13would at least be like a safe haven for
  334. 12:15accurate information, but no, not
  335. 12:18really, it seems. So, yeah, it really
  336. 12:20sucks. And also, even if you are one of
  337. 12:22the few parents out there, it seems it's
  338. 12:24very rare, that isn't just letting your
  339. 12:26kids go, you know, rambunctious online
  340. 12:29with no supervision, and you send your
  341. 12:31children to school, well, even there
  342. 12:33they might still just be getting [ __ ]
  343. 12:35brain rot AI slop and their [ __ ]
  344. 12:37agendas that you're paying for. So, even
  345. 12:38if you're doing everything right as a
  346. 12:40parent and you are sending them to a
  347. 12:41school,
  348. 12:43there's a chance that that might just
  349. 12:44also be a
  350. 12:47place of misinformation too here with
  351. 12:49just AI generated garbage. Like it's
  352. 12:52crazy, man. It's just it's so out of
  353. 12:54control. Anyway, just wanted to yap
  354. 12:56about it a bit, that's it. See you.
