1. 0:00At ISN, our early years program is
2. 0:02really special because it's built around
3. 0:05the belief that each child is capable of
4. 0:08uh being curious and and a lifelong
5. 0:09learner. We follow the IB primary US
6. 0:12program and we have uh students coming
7. 0:14from a variety of backgrounds which
8. 0:16makes it truly special. Students love to
9. 0:19come to school. Learning through uh play
10. 0:21is really powerful because it is a
11. 0:23natural language for children. We
12. 0:25believe that each child's voice matters
13. 0:27and uh so it starts first thing in the
14. 0:29morning in our circle time where we
15. 0:31shared what did you do over the weekend
16. 0:33or or what should we plan for today.
17. 0:35This really helps them give a sense of
18. 0:38belonging which is so important at this
19. 0:40age at ISN because we follow the IDP
20. 0:43program which is based on inquiry and
21. 0:45discovery and exploration. We have a lot
22. 0:48of discovery areas. uh both our indoor
23. 0:51and outdoor learning environments are
24. 0:53designed very carefully because we
25. 0:55believe at ISM that environment is the
26. 0:57third teacher especially for the little
27. 0:59ones. So we have a beautiful classroom
28. 1:01and we have a beautiful learn outdoor
29. 1:03learning environment where students can
30. 1:05go and do water play and then we have
31. 1:07sensory sand playing area. We have
32. 1:09blocks big blocks to build with and then
33. 1:12again when they come inside you know
34. 1:13like we have a we have a mark making
35. 1:15corner where they can explore different
36. 1:16ways of writing and then we have a place
37. 1:18for messy play. We have a creative area.
38. 1:20We have a quiet reading area. All these
39. 1:22different elements, they become a third
40. 1:24teacher in the classroom. Our children
41. 1:26when they join ISN, they don't need to
42. 1:29know English. The amazing thing about
43. 1:31our young learners is they learn very
44. 1:33fast while celebrating their home
45. 1:35languages and culture as well. Our
46. 1:37children look forward to so many things
47. 1:39throughout the day. I love the
48. 1:41incredible sense of wonder, joy and
49. 1:44honesty which these young learners bring
50. 1:47to the to the classroom. Um there is no
51. 1:50two days which are identical and I am
52. 1:53really privileged that I get to help
53. 1:56them fall in love with learning.
